shipping characters who are just friends in canon is more than okay but what’s annoying is when people take screenshots of them touching and say “friends don’t do that!”. i hate to break it to you but friends do hug and hold hands and cuddle. saying ‘friends don’t do that’ is reenforcing the idea that physical touch is reserved for lovers

Media Experimentation Assignment #3: Warm Light/Cool Shadows

Here's another assignment from my Media Experimentation class last semester! We had to make an acrylic painting with extreme warm light/cool shadows. Since acrylic paint dries so fast those blends were really difficult to get.

Another drawing assignment! For this assignment, I had to make a diorama in a cardboard box with one non-cardboard element, then take a photograph. The first image is my drawing, the second is the reference image I took

I know, I know, this is not the main comic - BUT I have plans, okay and this baby lies - after working on it for more than 2 freakin' years -in my drawer 100% done for over a month.

So I'm happy to finally release it into the world and let it take its first steps. This baby will now be updated ALONGSIDE Overflow on every first of the month.

So excited for this comic!!!

Formally introducing: Incognito, a future comic I plan on making after I finish JSAB:H! Incognito was a project I started in my first year of college, and I've been developing it since. It is still in the concept phase, many characters and locations still need to be designed. But the story is 80% complete, the other 20% is the details and actual script.

Feel free to design a robot for this world!! Tag me in it, and put #incognito comic in the tags, and if I have your permission I may use your design as a background character for wide shots/crowd shots :) (they wouldn't have any dialogue)

Feel free to ask any questions, I'll be happy to answer them :3

Media Experimentation Assignment #2: Oil Painting with Linework

Sorry for the break from posting these. Here's another one of my paintings from Media Experimentation! The goal from this one was to transfer linework onto the hardboard using an acetone marker than paint over/around it. I used one of the drawings I made as part of OC-Tober as the base. I really like how it turned out, the lighting was really fun to do! Since we didn't gesso the boards for this one (since the acetone doesn't like gesso) you can see some of the wood color/texture through the paint, especially on the background. I think it looks pretty neat!

Happy Valentines Day!!

This year for Valentines Day I decided to draw Blixer's family. His parents, Joseph and Irene, loved each other very much. Even though Blixer's half brother Levi was from Irene's previous marriage, Jospeh loved him like his own son.

Chronologically, this picture would take place a couple of months before Joseph dies in a mine shaft collapse.
