I could write a full essay on the symbolism between Koschei and Theta's names, and i see it loads. but why does no one talk about how Torvic's name means 'bay' or 'inlet' (meaning a branch of the sea, such as a *river*). like his name means river and he got murdered because he was drowning Koschei in a river.

i might write a whole thing about the name symbolism because i feel like it

Sometimes I think I haven't been too long in or searched much about the Master lore's, right? Until it's 11pm and I am writing a random one-shot that came up in my head and I have to stop and ponder if the drums are in the Master's head because the Doctor rocked someone and Rassilon decided to put a signal his head but he refused thus it was implanted on the Master OR in the last sanction Rassilon needed a signal thing-y to come back so he sent an order back through miss Jade-Death in time so the Doctor rocked a man to install said signall.

So Sutekh is, by his own account, the god of Death. Now... Death. Death as both a figure and a concept has shown up before in dw media, including in a lot of stuff i probably havent come across yet.

But the story I am gonna focus on here is the famed Rock Murder. In which the young Doctor, after killing Torvic with a large rock and the doctor and master hold hands and burn the body, makes a deal with death. The deal is to do with the doctor becoming time's champion and the master becoming death's, instead of the other way round like was going to happen. And both the doctor and master's memories change or something and think the master killed torvic not the doctor.

Now, could one suggest that Death, in that case, was Sutekh?
