this packaging is so cute omg. it's been a while since i posted, so here's a little update: since writing the lsat, i've been super busy working and working on my portfolio for a zine application! i don't think i'll get in but the work that went into my application was good for my skill development so it's all good :)

glad day is literally the coolest bookstore ever btw.
it’s the oldest surviving queer bookstore in the world and they always have art and zines by independent artists and they do drag brunches every Sunday and they have a bar/cafe so you can get a little drink while you’re there (and they have lots of non-alcoholic cocktail options, all of which are just as fun as the alcoholic version)
and ik they’re struggling to stay open right now so if you’re near Toronto you should check them out because they are so cool and the staff are so nice and it’s been the highlight of my visit the last few times i’ve been in Toronto

A Little About Me! 🤩
Hi!! I’m Brit and I’ve been an og tumblr girlie since 2014 lol. I struggle with anxiety/depression and I use tumblr as a way to fill the void. I love reading fanfiction and looking at memes lol. I’d love to find more mutuals with similar interests so I figured I’d post a little about me:
Age: 29 (I’m dreading turning 30 in February lol feels like I don’t have my life together at all 😅)
My likes/interests:
Reading!!! I love fantasy novels! The Crescent City Series by SJM is my all time favourite fantasy series because I can’t enough of Hunt Athalar. 🥵
Music!!! I’ll literally listen to anything, but my favourite bands/artists are; Bad Omens, Fleetwood Mac, Lord Huron, Shania Twain, The 1975, Drake
Anime!!! I’m finally embracing the fact that I like anime and have really been enjoying Naruto and Death Note
Hockey!!! I’m an Ontario girlie and love me the Toronto Maple Leafs!
Star Wars!!! Star Wars is literally my life and I would die for Anakin Skywalker
Marvel!!! I love the Avengers but I love Loki more. 🖤🥵
Cats!!! I love all cats but orange ones are my favourite, especially my orange dude Dorito 😻

You know what I love about this guy’s book is that it reads so honestly.
It’s been a hectic weekend and I feel like emotional honesty is what everyone needs.
I love how much Tom Vitale loves Anthony Bourdain. Love is such a complicated emotion because hate is in there, rage is in there, fear, astonishment, immersion, annihilation, admiration, consideration — there’s so many emotions inside love. You can see how much Tom Vitale cared about, was inspired and amazed by him.

While on holiday in Toronto, Evie Whitmore planned to sightsee and meet other asexuals, not audition for a dance competition. Now she’s representing Toronto’s newest queer dance studio, despite never having danced before. Not only does she have to spend hours learning her routine, she has to do it with one of the grumpiest men she’s ever met. Tyler turns out to be more than a dedicated dancer, though—he might be the kind of man who can sweep her off her feet, literally and figuratively.
Tyler Davis has spent the last year recovering from an emotionally abusive relationship. So he doesn’t need to be pushed into a rushed routine for a dumb competition. Ticking major representation boxes for being trans and biracial isn’t why he went into dance. But Evie turns out to be a dream student. In fact, she helps him remember just how good partnering can be, in all senses of the word. Teaching her the routine, however, raises ghosts for him, ones he’s not sure he can handle …

Sometimes I get rather stressed out when I visit art galleries because there's just so much and how can I see and appreciate it all?? I read a tip somewhere to focus on just one small thing which will help you appreciate that detail in all its different contexts.
So I tried it out last summer and I present to you: dogs at the Art Gallery of Ontario 🐶
