Cobra Kai characters & Johnny’s friends pinning you

Carmen Diaz - she would pin you against the wall for either being aggravated at you, that she wants to tease you, or wants to confront you about something.

Miguel Diaz - he would definitely pin you to the wall to tease as a silly little stunt or get something out of you because you’re hiding something from him and he doesn’t like that. he wants you to be honest with him due to him getting jealous and paranoid easily.

Robby Keene - similarly to how Miguel would pin you but he wouldn’t really do it to get an answer from you though there’s a possibility that he might. mostly he would do it to get closer to your face to kiss you without you squirming away from him.

Amanda LaRusso - she would definitely not pin you in public due to what people might think of her since she’s always thinking about other people’s opinions of her and her family. she would be embarrassed for the both of you if people had seen the two of you together and by the way, this doesn’t mean she’s embarrassed of you! she just doesn’t want to make it a big deal or something that is talked about publicly.

Anthony LaRusso - he would not know really know how to pin you without making it awkward in some type of way. it would because of something he said while trying to pin you to the wall that makes you snort. he does get slightly offended that you’re laughing while he’s trying to pin you also, he does a little bit of friendly “bullying” to you to encourage you to pin him out of frustration then he laughs at you trying to pin him.

Daniel LaRusso - he would be using you as demonstration on how to pin down your opponent to the rest of the dojo. he makes a comment on how well you held up while being pinned down and that comment makes you and him flustered. he wouldn’t really pin you to a wall BUT he would pin you down on the ground.

Sam LaRusso - similarly to her dad, Miguel, and Robby she would pin you to the ground and hold your feet so you wouldn’t be able to kick her off of you. she might tease you or not depending on how you look while pinned. she would only pin you against a wall in a building (like her house for an example) to get some answers out of you, or even to get closer to your face to stare at your lips.

Tory Nichols - she would also be pinning you to the ground but more likely she’ll be pinning you any chance she gets because she likes to see you struggle a bit trying to get out of her grip. she isn’t shy from teasing you while you’re being pinned on the floor, wall, anywhere really.

Kenny Payne - he only pins you because he thinks that it’s defensive and fun to duck and pin you to the ground or wall and he’ll definitely lift you up a bit when pinning you up (something he got from his brother, Shawn).

Shawn Payne - he doesn’t really do pinning for pleasure or fun so he does it out of frustration most of the time so he’ll lift you to pin you to the wall and watch your feet dangle while you’re up in the air. he’ll occasionally let out a growl or scruff sound that makes you laugh without any given reason to this also makes him frustrated so you’ll be lifted higher off the ground…maybe don’t laugh at him while he’s pinning you? 🤔

Johnny Lawrence - you will know that he’s about to pin you up by the grip he has on your shirt one grip doesn’t mean he is but there’s a bit of chance that he would and if both hands are on your collar it’s a definite possibility. he doesn’t really pinning you against the wall but he only does it when he needs to tell you something personal which was way different than how how he did it in high school with LaRusso because during then…

Bobby Brown - similarly to Johnny he would be telling you something personal or that he’s aggravated by something that you did — not really but he just tells you that. he doesn’t actually get frustrated with you he just wanted make an excuse to see how you would react and while being pinned he gives you a tease and kiss on the nose.

Thomas [Tommy] - it’s not really certain what Tommy would do when he has you pinned since he doesn’t really say anything to you but he looks at you, you can’t tell what he’s thinking or wanting to say to you. he just has that look that he wants to say something but he doesn’t? it’s genuinely strange to you that he’ll randomly pin you without a warning.

James [Jimmy] - Jimmy gives you a little push with his shoulder before pinning you up to the wall since he’s being silly with you and the both of you laugh when he does. it comes off as playful and you know he’s done to Johnny a couple times. the only way you know this information is by overhearing him and Johnny laugh about it with one another while camping with them.

Dutch - he does a little tricking tactic before pinning you to the wall meaning that he gives you a little shove into the wall. you claim that push hurt you which he laughs off not taking you seriously which annoys you, so you try walking away from the situation before he pins you and asks you where you’re going. you spat in his face telling him to unpin you so you can see what’s wrong with your hip. he tells you that he can check for which you declined but he does anyway and gives you a half assed apology. you call him an asshole before stumbling away to get away.

It's WIP Wednesday and I have been working a lot on 'Nicky Connors Part 4' (fight scenes my beloathed) so here's a longer extract!

“So this Halloween thing,” she said, once they’d composed themselves. “You got any ideas?” “I refuse to believe you’ve never been to a Halloween thing before.” “I’ve been trick-or-treating, but I can’t exactly wear a cheap dollar store costume to a high school event, and I like to stand out.” “We noticed.” Bobby said dryly. “Still, Johnny had a point - it’s not such a big deal.” “What are you guys going as?” “Probably whatever we feel like.” “Helpful.” “I thought you just said you’d like to stand out.” “I figured we could co-ordinate a little bit, unless I just show up as a witch.” “One letter out.” Dutch muttered. Nicky threw her empty fry carton directly at his head. “Hey.” “Asshole. Just because you know I’d have the best costume out of the lot of you.” “Are you sure you don’t just want a broomstick to hit people with?” Tommy asked, sniggering. “You could probably use Halloween as an excuse.” “Yeah, except a witch doesn’t need to hit people, she can just curse them.” Nicky pointed out. “I’ve no intention of hitting anyone unless they try and hit me first, because then it becomes self-defence – I’d have a broom because it looks the part.” “I think you could pull it off.” Johnny said, finishing his soda and crumpling the can, chucking it into the bin. “But I’m gonna call bullshit on you having the best costume – you’ve not seen what Bobby can rustle up.” “That so, huh? You holding out on me, Brown?” “I’m not exactly a costume designer and I’d have no idea where to start with a Halloween one.” He protested. “You’d be better off splashing out on a shop one.” “That brings us back to the problem of not standing out, though.” “You’ve still got a couple weeks.” Jimmy said. “I’m sure you’ll think of something.”

Almost all those responsible for the brawl and its consequences are being held accountable one way or another, so what’s your point here, Moskowitz? Who can you possibly want to go after?” “Fuck you!” Hawk’s eyes blazed at her. “Cobra Kais don’t show mercy! One of our own nearly died and there’s no coming back from that, and Kreese says—” “Oh, yeah, Kreese.” Tory snarled. “You mean the man who encouraged me to go after LaRusso in the first place and stomped all over Sensei Lawrence’s lessons behind his back? Give me a break, Hawk, he doesn’t give a shit about us, and the sooner you realise that the better.”

I also tried rewriting my Nyssa x Dev x Lyta Krypton fic - only to find that does need a rewatch as while I watched S1 a few times I've only seen S2 the once, so I do need to refresh...but here's a snippet anyway!

It didn’t make any sense. Zods had a strong sense of duty to Kandor, that was true, but Dru-Zod was not what Kandor – not what Krypton – needed, because whatever he said he did not have the people’s best interests at heart. No, this was about power, about enslaving the rest of the universe to prove Krypton’s might – to prove his might – and surely even Lyta’s sense of familial duty and responsibility couldn’t have blinded her to that. It was yet another foundation ripped out from under her, and all she could do was focus on protecting her child and helping Val’s rebellion, six months organising, rebelling, fighting, retreating, recruiting— Six months later, Adam Strange turned up alive. His zeta-beam device had transported him away at the very last second, and he’d ended up in one of Brainiac’s frozen cities…which turned out to be one of his cities, with a statue of Dru-Zod in the centre of it, and Nyssa wasn’t sure whether to laugh or cry over the fact that Zod was apparently going to succeed, but ultimately Brainiac would come for everything anyway. From Adam’s perspective, he’d only been gone a few hours as opposed to the six months it had been on Krypton, and even though he made light of it… The time skip, his failure to protect his planet, and Seg’s loss were weighing heavily on him. Oh, he pretended it didn’t, deflected Val’s enquiries  – constantly made quips, wisecracks, terrible attempts at flirting with Jax-Ur – but Nyssa could see the mask for what it was, recognised that underneath the humour was someone whose hurts ran deep and the only way he could cope was through humour.

Going by this exchange under Kelly Jo’s announcement of Baby Smith #5 it sounds like Tori is due after Josie. Given that the announcement didn’t provide either the sex of the baby or a name I’m going to guess that she is still very early. But, since it seems she’s due after Josie her due date range is between mid March to early July. Though again since we were not provided the information that usually comes with smith announcements I’d say she’s due June/July 2024
