Cobra Kai characters & Johnny’s friends pinning you

Carmen Diaz - she would pin you against the wall for either being aggravated at you, that she wants to tease you, or wants to confront you about something.

Miguel Diaz - he would definitely pin you to the wall to tease as a silly little stunt or get something out of you because you’re hiding something from him and he doesn’t like that. he wants you to be honest with him due to him getting jealous and paranoid easily.

Robby Keene - similarly to how Miguel would pin you but he wouldn’t really do it to get an answer from you though there’s a possibility that he might. mostly he would do it to get closer to your face to kiss you without you squirming away from him.

Amanda LaRusso - she would definitely not pin you in public due to what people might think of her since she’s always thinking about other people’s opinions of her and her family. she would be embarrassed for the both of you if people had seen the two of you together and by the way, this doesn’t mean she’s embarrassed of you! she just doesn’t want to make it a big deal or something that is talked about publicly.

Anthony LaRusso - he would not know really know how to pin you without making it awkward in some type of way. it would because of something he said while trying to pin you to the wall that makes you snort. he does get slightly offended that you’re laughing while he’s trying to pin you also, he does a little bit of friendly “bullying” to you to encourage you to pin him out of frustration then he laughs at you trying to pin him.

Daniel LaRusso - he would be using you as demonstration on how to pin down your opponent to the rest of the dojo. he makes a comment on how well you held up while being pinned down and that comment makes you and him flustered. he wouldn’t really pin you to a wall BUT he would pin you down on the ground.

Sam LaRusso - similarly to her dad, Miguel, and Robby she would pin you to the ground and hold your feet so you wouldn’t be able to kick her off of you. she might tease you or not depending on how you look while pinned. she would only pin you against a wall in a building (like her house for an example) to get some answers out of you, or even to get closer to your face to stare at your lips.

Tory Nichols - she would also be pinning you to the ground but more likely she’ll be pinning you any chance she gets because she likes to see you struggle a bit trying to get out of her grip. she isn’t shy from teasing you while you’re being pinned on the floor, wall, anywhere really.

Kenny Payne - he only pins you because he thinks that it’s defensive and fun to duck and pin you to the ground or wall and he’ll definitely lift you up a bit when pinning you up (something he got from his brother, Shawn).

Shawn Payne - he doesn’t really do pinning for pleasure or fun so he does it out of frustration most of the time so he’ll lift you to pin you to the wall and watch your feet dangle while you’re up in the air. he’ll occasionally let out a growl or scruff sound that makes you laugh without any given reason to this also makes him frustrated so you’ll be lifted higher off the ground…maybe don’t laugh at him while he’s pinning you? 🤔

Johnny Lawrence - you will know that he’s about to pin you up by the grip he has on your shirt one grip doesn’t mean he is but there’s a bit of chance that he would and if both hands are on your collar it’s a definite possibility. he doesn’t really pinning you against the wall but he only does it when he needs to tell you something personal which was way different than how how he did it in high school with LaRusso because during then…

Bobby Brown - similarly to Johnny he would be telling you something personal or that he’s aggravated by something that you did — not really but he just tells you that. he doesn’t actually get frustrated with you he just wanted make an excuse to see how you would react and while being pinned he gives you a tease and kiss on the nose.

Thomas [Tommy] - it’s not really certain what Tommy would do when he has you pinned since he doesn’t really say anything to you but he looks at you, you can’t tell what he’s thinking or wanting to say to you. he just has that look that he wants to say something but he doesn’t? it’s genuinely strange to you that he’ll randomly pin you without a warning.

James [Jimmy] - Jimmy gives you a little push with his shoulder before pinning you up to the wall since he’s being silly with you and the both of you laugh when he does. it comes off as playful and you know he’s done to Johnny a couple times. the only way you know this information is by overhearing him and Johnny laugh about it with one another while camping with them.

Dutch - he does a little tricking tactic before pinning you to the wall meaning that he gives you a little shove into the wall. you claim that push hurt you which he laughs off not taking you seriously which annoys you, so you try walking away from the situation before he pins you and asks you where you’re going. you spat in his face telling him to unpin you so you can see what’s wrong with your hip. he tells you that he can check for which you declined but he does anyway and gives you a half assed apology. you call him an asshole before stumbling away to get away.

Happy anniversary

Tori and Bobby Smith (Bates) celebrate their 6th anniversary today.

Since their weddingday they became parents to Kade (5), Kolter (3), Charlotte (2) and Cambree (1). Tori is currently expecting their 5th child.

IMO: This is one of the few times in movie history where the sequel is better than the original.

2022 Bates Predictions Review

No baby for 2022. The house is looking great though.

Unfortunately no baby this year. They have been promoting their business a lot but it doesn't seem like Michael has been allowed to get a job so she can use her degree.

Erin hasn't really commented on her ovaries this year but thankfully Finley was born healthy. I was wrong about the house as they've moved to Florida.

Lawson and Tiffany married in May. No attendance from Bindi but yes I'd say it was over the top compared to some of the other weddings.

Nathan and Esther announced their pregnancy on Mother's Day and their daughter Kenna Joy was born in October, which is pretty much the end of the year.

I was wrong about the pregnancy announcement but right about them adding to the family in the next few years. I knew Maci wasn't their final child.

Tori was indeed pregnant when I wrote my predictions. She and Bobby welcomed Cambree (no K name) in August.

Trace and Lydia got engaged quicker than I was expecting with their engagement in March and wedding in October.

Turns out Layla unfortunately wasn't the only one experiencing health issues this year. Zade was born in mid March, they moved house but kept Izzy.

No pregnancy announcement for these two.

Katie did struggle with being away from her family and there were a lot of trips to see her in New Jersey. Baby #1 was announced in August and Hailey James is due in March.

Jackson didn't join the police and instead got himself a girlfriend. Kelly sadly lost her mom. It was a fairly quiet year for everyone else.

Going by this exchange under Kelly Jo’s announcement of Baby Smith #5 it sounds like Tori is due after Josie. Given that the announcement didn’t provide either the sex of the baby or a name I’m going to guess that she is still very early. But, since it seems she’s due after Josie her due date range is between mid March to early July. Though again since we were not provided the information that usually comes with smith announcements I’d say she’s due June/July 2024

Meet Weston Slade Smith

On Wednesday 29th May 2024, Kelly Jo Bates announced that daughter Tori Smith had given birth to her fifth child earlier that day. Tori's fifth baby is her third boy. He joins older siblings Robert Ellis "Kade" (5), Kolter Gray (4), Charlotte Raine (2) and Cambree Layne (21 months).

Pregnancy Announcement This was a very early pregnancy announcement. Prior to Weston's arrival, Tori had announced all of her pregnancies herself on her social media. This had been getting progressively later.

Kade: Day 82 Kolter: Day 100 Charlotte: Day 113 Cambree: Day 178

However, this pregnancy was announced by Kelly Jo on the main Bates family Instagram page. She mentioned that Tori is no longer updating her social media as she announced the pregnancy. At the time, I speculated that maybe it was an earlier announcement as Kelly could be announcing when the family were first told, but it was also possible that Tori was following her theme of announcing later each time. All we knew was that Baby Smith was due after Josie's third baby (Miles Kelton Balka) who was due mid-March. I predicted a possible March or April birth in line with Tori's previous announcement dates.

As of 30th May 2024, Kelly hasn't shared Weston's exact due date. Where Tori's due dates have been known, her children have been born early.

Kade: 15 days early. Kolter: 21 days early. Charlotte: 11 days early.

This averaged to 16 days early. Weston is Tori's largest baby to date, so I'm estimating he was born 11 days early like Charlotte, though this could be wildly off.

Using this, Kelly Jo announced Tori's most recent pregnancy on Day 39 (5 weeks, 4 days), which is super early! If he was born on his due date, Weston's birth was still announced on Day 50 (7 weeks, 1 day) which is still pretty early, though maybe a little more Bates-typical?

So What's Next? Weston arrived 666 days after big sister Cambree, which is Tori's longest spacing by far.

Marriage-Kade: 328 days. Kade-Kolter: 502 days. Kolter-Charlotte: 456 days. Charlotte-Cambree: 404 days. Cambree-Weston: 666 days.

Taking the average of these and multiplying it by the maternal multiplier, Tori's predicted pace for Smith 6 is 569 days.

Birth Date: 18th December 2025 Due Date: 3rd January 2026

If the pregnancy is announced on Day 100, which would be Smith-typical, this would mean an announcement in July. However, if it was announced early like Weston was, it would mean an announcement in May 2025.
