It’s always been interesting to me. I think they’ve always been friends, it’s hard to work their hours and not be. I can’t fully speak to it, since I don’t know them, but I am glad to see they are closer than I originally thought. I know they are adults, and you can be friends with your friend’s exes, but it always adds an extra layer of things. Given just how close Marina is to Torrey, as well as her friendship with Sophia, it always was something I wondered about. At the end of the day, people can be friends with whomever they want, and respect boundaries. I am sure Marina is sensitive to all parties involved… But with all that, I’m so glad to see that our two leading ladies are friends both in and out of work - and seeing them with Reem warms my heart. They truly are a family and I am not going to lie, I want to be adopted. 😂🤍

Rezique is a strict imposter who does her job and does it well. Also bitter ex lovers with Cyth. She hates both Cyth and Deziya but gets on with her job regardless of the two

Auris is an absolute sweetheart who sees good in absolutely anyone, even in Rezique after finding out she was imposter. She has feelings for Augre but is anxious they wouldn’t love her back

Augre is anxious but cheerful, having Squeaky as an emotional support pet that they love dearly. They always sit at comms and is known to be the messenger of the team 

Donomin is nonverbal and shy, but really easy to excite around the cheerful part of the crew. Augre likez to let Donomin play with Squeaky to calm him down when he needz it 

Dekye is Dad. that’s it. He is best dad of all time, extremely comforting and caring to everyone, though rather protective. He was assigned captain of the team 

Amayu is from the other lobby, but I originally had her in the first one. She is deaf, and speaks in sign language, usually having Vee and Zee translate for her. She is really sweet and interactive, and also rather smart

Deziya is an imposter who WAS going to kill the crewmates with the other two, but ended up falling for RV and got together with them. They basically follow RV literally everywhere he goes. RV has already suspected they are an imposter, though they deny that fact. RV is completely okay with it though 

Scenzorr is a cyborg who is sick of everyone’s shit. She survived many imposter attacks in her past and is extremely serious in all meetings, demanding they vote out imposters asap. She absolutely hates Torei to death 

Cyth is the last imposter. She was once known to be the best imposter out of the three, but in this lobby specifically, she struggles to lay a finger on any of the crewmates, as they were the first to ever give her a real found family that loves her dearly 

Torei is rather immature, though usually smart in some places. He likes to challenge Scenzorr’s thinking and harass her any time she susses on anyone in the crew. He likes the asteroids task a lot

Rest of the ocs are in the second crew with Amayu 

Karuiz is a crewmate, but got infected by the parasite which controlled her to kill some of the crewmates. This mentally damages her a lot and she Begs everyone to vote her off, but they all (excluding Clock) refuse, convinced they can cure her somehow 

Aspyratus is the parasite, who is fully stoic, but extremely smart with words, knowing how to convince everyone but their imposter partner and have their way. They hate Swirlz because they don’t know how to get into their head 

Swirlz is silly. Little One is their little crewmate who ended up getting adopted by Dad against Swirlz’s will. This is how Swirlz comes out as an imposter in an attempt to retrieve Little One but Dad simply refused. Swirlz simply will Not kill anyone until they get Little One back 

Dad is Dad. What more can I say? He picked up this imposter baby and simply went “Mine.” Swirlz hates him. He doesn’t care. Everyone hates calling him Dad but he refuses to be referred to as anything else

Systa is a crewmate who is extremely anxious and very easy to convince. They’re best friends with Karuiz and is really desperate to find a cure for them. They also end up crushing on Swirlz even after knowing they’re imposter and Swirlz has No idea how to comprehend it whatsoever 

Clock is a bitter stepfather who lost his wife to an imposter. Little Star was his wife’s child which he unwillingly adopts and looks after. He makes it clear to everyone he hates children, which Dad ends up adopting Little Star later on. Clock also has an extreme hatred towards imposters and keep demanding they vote Karuiz and Swirlz off while everyone disapproves. By the way, absolutely nobody is aware that Aspyratus is an imposter except for Swirlz

I'm flying my daughter, Torey, out to visit me in New Orleans. She'll arive around 5:00 pm tonight. It dawned on me that I didn't have any sleeping shorts, but rememebered the outlet stores from my river walk the day before. I would get in my morning steps and find a sporting goods store to buy gym shorts, comfortable for lounging and sleeping. I downloaded a pedometer app on my phone, and of cource I am now procupied with how many steps I take each day. When I am not working and not driving I strive (or stride) for at least the recomended 10,000 steps a day. I now grade myself: 20,000 steps gets me an A. 15,000 a B. 10,000 is a C. 5000, a D. Anything less than 5000 is deemed a sloth day. On this mornings walk I found myself conjuring up a thesis on New Orleans: I think Nola is comprised of three predominant influences. Art, Queer Culture, and Ethnicity. Under the umbrella of "art," ( I hate to even mention the word umbrella, as it has finally stopped raining here) is first and formost the ubiquitous music scene. New Orleans sings, dances, and performs, morning through night. Most of the music is offered up on a pay as yoou wish basis. This Marxist paradigm that states "from each his ability, to each according to his needs" apears to work well. However, Nola's art scene is more than just music. Julia St. in the Warehouse District is littered with art galaries. Unlike the tourist centered art found in the French Quarter, the gallaries in the Warehouse rival those of any major art city west of New York. Also found under the embrella of art is the colorful way many residents present, in dress and style. Much of this is performative but even then, it's done well. There is an overlap between this art that is fashion based, with the second New Orleans influence of Queer Culture. If you have ever been to Provinctown on Cape Cod, you've experienced a tamer, more laid back exhibition of "out" queer culture. When I looked for a bar where I could watch the late game of the NFL playoffs yesterday, I found an obscure Karaoke bar. Soon after ariving a couple came in, both in their 30s. One of the two wore an ecceptionally low-cut shirt with the largest breasts I have ever witnessed. This persons partner was well over six feet tall, born genetically male, but presenting as an enormouslly-fabulous woman. Most everyoine at the bar was younger and they all seemed to know each other well. It is mardi gras in New Orleans right now. with that, there are parades almost every night. Even if the stated themes of the parades are sexually-secular, they are still very much influened by New orleans queer culture. ie, penises everywhere! I find it lovely how comfortable and out queer culture is in this city. One moment it's outragous, the next tender and loving. Just like having lived long enough to see the countries first black president I am equaly delighted to see this expression of sexuality and joy presented with such unihibited and unapologetic fervor. The third great factor influencing New Orleans is ethnicity: Cre·ole: a person of mixed European and Black descent, especially in the Caribbean. Ca·jun: a member of any of the largely self-contained communities in the bayou areas of southern Louisiana formed by descendants of French Canadians, speaking an archaic form of French. Af·ri·can A·mer·i·can: Black American of African descent. These three ethnocultural designations define New Orleans as much as anything else. Again, there is overlap as so much of the art created here is done so by the hand of said ethnocutures. And of cource, there are queer folk of every ethnic group. I can't recomend a better place to spoend some time. Sure, stroll down Burboun Steet. Have a beignet cafe du monde. But take some time away from that. Get your hands dirty. Have a sensual experience with this great city.
