Her first interaction with you was a prank she pulled with Meowlody and Purrsephone where they caused you to fall over and drop the stack of books you were carrying on the ground. While the three of them were laughing, she noticed that you were actually kind of cute

That didn't mean she stopped pranking you, that just meant that her pranks became a lot less mean and a lot more harmless, like taking your last piece of gum or hiding all of your pens at the back of your locker. Eventually she got tired of the game of cat and mouse (both literally and figuratively) and decided to finally just ask you out

Her favorite nicknames for you are nerd, dork, and geek, but nerd is the one she uses the most. In fact, she probably uses it more than your actual name, if I'm being completely honest

Toralei is very protective over you. Yes, she may tease you for all the reading you do and the subjects you're interested in, but that's because she's your girlfriend. No one else is allowed to make fun of you for being a nerd other than her

She ends up feeling really bad if anything she says or does to be playfully mean ends up actually hurting your feelings, because that's never her intent. The most she expects as a reaction from you is flushed cheeks or an eye roll, not tear filled eyes and stuttering of breath

The next day you'll find a gift in your locker that's perfectly tailored to you and your interests, whether that be a new video game or the latest book in a series you've been reading. A note is left by it that simply says "i love you, nerd"

Toralei's the only one who ever calls you that (plus she's the only one you know who's smart enough to pick the lock on your locker door) so you knew right away it was her, even if she denies it and swears up and down she has no clue how it got there

Clawdeen started getting feelings for Toralei during the sport webisodes when Toralei joined all the sports due to being competitive.

Howleen's straight pink hair is a lace-front because her mom doesn't want her to dye it yet (is jealous of Clawdeen because of it)

Clawdeen dyes her hair constantly but because her fur grows so fast its back to normal in just a few days, she is constantly trimming it.

Werewolf's commonly tuck their tails into their clothes or trim the fur because they don't like altering clothes and their tails are thicker than were-cats

Frankie is poly

Frankie is also intersex (franken monster)

Deuce and Cleo have spa dates because their skin dries out and they need extra moisturization.

Venus and Clawdeen had a fling

Clawd's mom cuts his fur for him because he always butches it

Lagoona and Gill sneak out every other friday

Lagoona taught everyone how to understand zombie and has her own class/ study group for it at MH

slow-mo has a speeding problem

Clawd and Clawdeen are from the same litter but Clawd was premature and Clawdeen was late. Clawdeen kicked him out of the womb (originally twins meant to be born at the end of February, beginning of march)

toralei beats up other bullies (especially ones she deems takes it too far) but no one ever knows because it "could ruin her rep"

draculaura has to be reassured about her and clawd's relationship consistently bc of their age gap

Clawdeen struggles to not chase balls and whistles like clawd, the whistles hurt her ears

*Clawdeuce ended up together, Clawdeen is a fashion designer and an advocate for anti- human speciesism, Deuce became a famous casketball player and is also an advocate for speciesism.

*Abbey and Heath are still together, they're in the process of getting married, Heath is a video game designer*

*Clankie are still together also, Cleo retired from the royal life and her and Frankie are living happily together in Boo York, Frankie designs prosthetic limbs for people*

*Lagoona eventually met Gil during freshman year of college, they've been dating for 4 years*

*Draculaura is still practicing her witchcraft and is looking to start her own coven, is in a long- distance relationship with Toralei*

yes that’s a really funny statement, but I’m taking it seriously in this post, so BEFORE we go any further: STOP thinking about omegaverse as a fetish. STOP thinking about it as a sexual thing. ABO has such interesting potential, so before I say anything else, I need everyone to be on the same page that it does NOT always involve sex. This post is NSFW FREE!! YOU HEAR ME!!! Especially since they’re CHILDREN!!!!

It makes sense. It would be an interesting concept and sort of an add-on to separate werecreatures from other animal-inspired monsters.

anyways I have a bunch of headcanons about it under the cut. these are specifically for G3, but take them however you like! also, there’s a huge text wall under the cut, just so you know.

Clawdeen is an alpha. In every universe. She’s specifically the born leader alpha. She’s humble and is all “no, no, I can’t lead it’s not my thing,” but she seriously fits the role of leader like a glove. She’s also subconsciously wants to have control over every little thing, but she consciously knows that’s not how things work. She’s one of the more aggressive alphas, though she doesn’t notice and won’t admit it to herself.

Clawd is a beta. He’s. Just a dude. And he’s quite good at it. He’s very good at calming people (namely Clawdeen), and generally very mellow. He’s protective of his sister, obvi. That’s like a mix of older brother syndrome and beta-will-watch-over-the-pack-itis.

Howleen is also a beta. Howleen is one of the more aggressive betas. She knows her time is coming when Grandpa Romulus will get too old, and she’ll be leader of the pack. She likes to fight for the formality of the title, but she actually doesn’t mind Romulus being the leader. She’s very comfortable with it!

Romulus is an omega. Yes, he’s an omega, and everyone (at least all the werebeasts) knows it. He’s the leader of the pack, and he takes pride in that title. He’s very insecure about being an omega, so that’s why he fights for any ounce of dominance he can get. This does cause him to be a nuisance, though. It’s not that he minds being an omega; he just doesn’t want others to treat him differently, which is fair. The tough show is just so people don’t automatically think he’s weak. He does need to realize that all of his friends believe him, though, so he can stop being such a self-protecting bonehead now.

Barkimedes is an alpha. Some people find it odd that the werewolf pack has its omega as the first in command, beta as the second in command, and its alpha last as third in command, but Barkimedes likes it this way! He’s never really been one to tell others what to do. Lots of people are surprised that he’s even an alpha because of how much he’s bossed around. Well, those people are wrong because Barkimedes is the alpha that ever alpha’d (whatever that means…)! Barkimedes is more of the protective type. If he senses his friends are in danger, he would do literally anything. He is REALLY overprotective of the pack, and they probably never notice it (Example: You just barely insulted Romulus and Howleen. They’re telling you off while Barkimedes stands behind them with the most menacing look on his face. Romulus and Howleen look back at Barkimedes, and suddenly his face is as sweet as an angel. They turn back to you, and he is growling at you again). If he sees you messing with something his hindmind considers “his” (like his friends, or maybe his slice of pizza), he’ll go feral on you. However, he’ll never use his alpha “powers” (such as his alpha voice) unless it’s an emergency. He’s just chill like that.

Toralei is a beta. I was debating saying she’s an omega, but beta just makes more sense in my mind. No one knows she’s a beta. Everyone thinks she’s an alpha. She acts and tries VERY hard to present as an alpha for the validation. Her mom, Catarina, is an alpha. As she is a terrible mother, Catarina is an elitist and also a sexist. Catarina thinks that betas are no better than “useless” omegas. Possibly even more useless than omegas since they don’t do “anything special.” She was very disappointed when she found out that Toralei was a beta, despite that not being something Toralei can control. Toralei will sometimes make fun of Romulus being an omega, and she will always feel bad immediately after. She does take medicine that she really shouldn’t take so that she can mask and smell like an alpha. Whenever the topic of second sex comes up, Toralei tries to back out of the conversation as soon as possible. She really needs to be comfortable in her own body and stop caring what her mom thinks.

Purrsephone and Meowlody are either betas or omegas. I don’t know which one they’d be, but they’re definitely not alphas.

Mouscedes is an omega. I don’t know much about mousedes, but from what I can tell, she’s pretty dependent on others. She’s not ashamed of it either. Whatever works, queen!

Teez I have no clue. We really don’t know much about him yet. I have no idea what he could be.

Frankie conveniently has a werecreature hindmind researcher brainbit, so they spout random facts sometimes and occasionally can help out (depending on what they can conveniently recall)!

A lot of the other monsters don’t actually realize that werebeasts have a second gender. Clawdeen didn’t know at all until the pack told her, and it explained a lot about her sudden aggressiveness.

The second gender is also a second sex. It’s basically just like us separating gender and sex. The werebeasts just have another pair!

Werebeasts can find out what their “assigned second gender” is at birth, but a lot of parents decide not to worry about it. 1. It’s way simpler to use one’s first set of gender/sex. 2. The rest of the monster world isn’t even gonna care about your second set.

The second gender reveals itself on its own right when puberty starts. It’s usually the first sign of puberty in werebeasts.

Why doesn't Draculaura reach out to Valentine?

- I believe Draculaura has never reached out to Valentine... because phones and other modern tools of communication had not been invented yet! When Draculaura's carriage left that town so did any attempt to ever speaking to him again. (Unless she wanted to use Count Fabulous as a carrier bat lol!) I assume they knew that both were still alive because Vampire Lifespan Logic but when they parted ways it was probably a "well I have no idea where they are anymore". In the movie Draculaura explains she had to flee due to a misunderstanding with the locals, most likely she was told not to disclose the next location (if she even knew it) they were going to for the sake of their safety and starting a new life. 

- Toralei manages to track down Valentine in a matter of seconds

Social. Media. (or even word of mouth!) A playboy that prides himself on broken hearts would be easy to find on any social media platform, Valentine would be no exception. I strongly believe he would be openly advertising himself on his chosen platforms and would be very active and responsive. Finding more victims for himself and of course, making himself an easy target for Toralei. He is probably infamous on each said platform with thousands of followers and regularly posts. Though, with MH Vampire Reflection Logic there are probably no photos of him to confirm his identity which makes it even more convincing that Draculaura wouldn't have been able to find him again. How would she know it was really him and why would she put in that much effort to confirm? Toralei's petty self definitely would and I think she did during the events of WDGFIL.

- How did Valentine change schools so quickly ?

Honestly this is just a plot hole that no Monster High movie has bothered to explain. It happens in multiple movies so good catch but I cant think of a plausible canon reason lmao. My only idea is that Valentine's overbearing mum would go to any lengths to keep her son happy (and continue his heartbreaking reign of terror,,, if she's in on it!) But to answer the real questions about the formalities of transferring a school and paperwork necessary yeah I got nothing 

- did Toralei and Valentine take that long to leave the school? 

this one is for jokes so my answer is yes. Maybe they got lost in the catacombs? or yes they did indeed walk that slow

HEADCANNON IN LIGHT OF CLAWLEI BEING MADE CANON; MY CLAWLEI HEADCANONS

- Y’know how much trouble Toralei caused in G1? It’s cause she’s so abysmally shit at flirting it seemed like the most logical thing to do. When she and Clawdeen get together, Clawdeen basically schools her in what flirting actually looks like. Clawdeen partially comes to regret this as Toralei can’t help but tease her and call her nicknames. (Pet, darling, wolfy, puppy, Clawdie, and so on.)

- Whenever Toralei feels sick (coughing up hairballs), Clawdeen makes her soup and stays with her.

- Toralei likes to knead Clawdeen; Clawdeen returns the favour by massaging Toralei.

- Toralei is shit scared of water, so whenever she’s around large bodies of water (the pool, the beach etc) she gets tense. Clawdeen stats by Toralei’s side and celebrates each small step forward.

- Relating to last part, Clawdeen secretly enjoys helping Toralei take baths. I mean bathtub full of water type. Toralei is always anxious, but Clawdeen lights candles, incense, adds essential oils and bath bombs and rose petals and bath salts, massages any part of Toralei that feels a bit stiff and just soothes her.

- Toralei wants to teach Clawdeen how to skate and spray paint.

- Whenever Clawdeen needs a break from her family, she goes to Toralei’s. Normally, Toralei isn’t very openly affectionate. These days are the exception.

- Toralei likes pranking Clawdeen. They discussed what Clawdeen is OK with and Toralei always checks after each prank how Clawdeen is.

- Toralei was the first to make a move, Purrsephone and Meowlody supporting her like wingwomen. Clawdeen was still in the closet at the time so she ran away. This hurt Toralei a little. It took Clawdeen a while but she eventually confessed to Toralei.

- Their preferred date is being outside, having a picnic under the full moon. Toralei loves snuggling up to Clawdeen. Clawdeen always finds it hard to keep composure once Toralei starts purring.
