Think of it this way: Switching between normie and monster is the Jekyll lineage power. Jackson/Holt would be an elemental like their dad all the time without their mom's genes. That makes me believe Jackson/Holt's father is a Burns and Holt is a Hyde because he's the other half of a Jekyll.

So the reason Holt has fire powers is because his and Jackson’s dad is a fire elemental, right? That’s how they’re related to Heath. But their mum is the one who’s the descendent of OG Jekyll and Hyde.

Does that mean Mister Hyde is just a dude? He’s a monster of course but he’s just a dude. No cool flame powers at all.
