You and your husband took a very well deserved vacation to Malaysia. You were currently on the sunny beach sitting together and chatting peacefully while drinking. Kento was talking about retiring from sorcery and spending his days like this, next to you on a beautiful beach and no worries anymore. You sip the alcoholic drink and look at him through the sunglasses. Kento gently wrapped an arm around your waist, pulling you a bit closer against his side. He sipped his drink and gazed out at the blue waves lapping at the shore, the sound soothing and relaxing. He glanced over at you, a soft smile on his face as he looked your features behind the sunglasses

“It would be nice, I have to admit.”

Kento chuckled softly, his fingers idly tracing lazy patterns on your waist. He set his drink down on the table nearby, shifting his body to face you more directly.

"It would be more than nice. It'd be perfect, don't you think?"

You turn your head to look at the waves and admire the perfect weather and the bright blue sky. It felt like a dream.

“ it would…” you whisper in an almost dreamy voice, it had been your dream to move here with him ever since you landed on the airport.

Kento followed your gaze out towards the sea, the sunlight casting a warm glow on his features. His gaze returned to you as his fingers continued to gently trace forms on your waist.

"This... this right here, this is what I want. Just us, away from all the chaos and responsibility."

He leaned his head against yours, a soft sigh escaping his lips before he gently pressed a soft kiss on your exposed shoulder. "No sorcery, no cursed spirits, just us living a normal, peaceful life. Just us... This is all I need."

You smile softly at his words. It is indeed a peaceful life you’ve been dreaming for years. away from the chaos and the inevitable death of being a sorcerer.

“I need it too, it’s all I want right now, spend the rest of my days with you on this beach…”

His eyes softened as he heard the earnestness in your voice, and he smiled brightly to you. He knew life as a sorcerer was a troubled and painful one, how much you've given and sacrificed for the sake of the world. His grip around your waist tightened subconsciously.

"Then that's what we'll do," he murmured, his voice low and filled with warmth. "We'll retire and spend every waking moment right here, just the two of us enjoying the sun and each other's company." He reached your warm cheeks and held it in his larger hands, he traced with his eyes every feature of your face, your eyes behind the sunglasses, your beautiful nose, your lips that he loved to kiss so much… He couldn’t stop staring at you, you were his muse, he loved and worshiped you so much that sometimes he’d get himself thinking that if you ever wanted him to jump off a building he would simply ask “how high?”.

You gently rest your forehead against his to feel the moment. Of your connection towards each other. You think of how you don’t wanna ever lose him, of how much this man pressed against you means more to you than anything else.

Kento closed his eyes, relishing the proximity and tenderness of the moment. He reached up, his fingers gently tracing along your cheek, his touch light and reverent. He leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss against your forehead, his lips lingering there for a moment before resting his forehead against yours again and speaking in a low and tender voice.

"You're my home, you know that? Wherever we go, as long as I have you, nothing else matters.” He softly presses a kiss on your lips filled with love and unspoken promises. Promises of a new life for you two, one that won’t involve death and sorcery anymore. A promise that he will always return home untouched to you, that no curse, no matter how strong, will ever take him from you.

i wanted to explore an au where pebbles is swapped with sig , instead of the usual pebbles-moon swap :3 i hope you enjoy this au i accidentally created because i listened to laplace's angel for too long and was plagued by visions during the tender hours of 10 to 11 pm

the main focus of this au !! yeay !! sig accidentally kills suns out of desperation to reach A Goal ( i don't know what it is yet ) and pebbles attempts to save them by sending a care package . sig is much younger here and his personality reflects that , being bitter and stubborn and a sarcastic little shit , though he ends up calming down and resembling his canon self a little more as his can slowly rots . he was built as a sort of backup iterator in case suns' cooling systems were to fail entirely . pebbles is calmer and more level-headed , showing the same warmth and kindness he did during his canon rivulet campaign state , but ends up snapping from stress anyways and isolating himself permanently .

moon becomes an outsider to the local group , yet retains a close friendship with pebbles and being a mentor figure to sig . she sends sig illegal information during his time of need and quickly regrets it . suns becomes the group senior , built in a naturally cold environment to combat their subpar cooling tech . sig's excessive heat output threw the nearby climate into chaos and caused suns to collapse from overheating .

this one's a bit of a weird one !! hunter is now the cancerous growth slowly killing sig from the inside , his very own version of rot . it looks the same as pebbles' rot in canon , but with pinkish accents instead of dark blue accents . pebbles' rot is now a carnivorous slugcat messenger named the outlaw (?) , created by pebbles to send aid to suns . their creation process was rushed which led to them developing a terrible illness , locking them into an unfortunate demise .

spearmaster is now a random wild slugcat , weirdly mutated by natural means somehow . they stumble into sig's decaying can and retrieve his last rarefaction cell to give to suns , later becoming suns' companion . rivulet is now a genetically engineered messenger made by moon to be swift and nimble , their gills and swimming expertise letting them traverse moon's watery surroundings with great ease . they were used once to deliver the illegal information to sig , and once again to send an apology to him , which he angrily denied .

the green pup ( yet to be named ) gets separated from their family because of a scavenger-related incident . the blue pup , now named the scholar , bravely sets off in search of them . the two are related to artificer as colonymates . survivor and monk both perish from a terrible storm , getting carried away by the rain and doomed to drown . the two are related to gourmand directly .

artificer is now the leader of the slugtree colony , depicted in legends as a fierce brave warrior capable of taking on any challenge . their journey involves searching for a pair of lost pups , dodging hits from suspicious scavengers along the way . gourmand is now the unfortunate parent of survivor and monk , losing two of their pups to the unforgiving rain . they run down the path of greed and bind themselves to gluttony , endlessly searching for power so they can never lose anything again .

i haven't thought of what to do with saint , sliver , wind , or innocence yet !!! i might swap wind and innocence if i don't see any better options . and if i feel silly enough i might swap saint with sliver

idk if i wanna add nightcat and enot into this au , but if i do they'll probably get swapped with each other too unless i run into any cooler alternatives

gourmand's story is a little bit scuffed BHJDSHF i'm sticking with them getting locked at karma 4 like arti's canon karma lock but i don't have much that builds off of it right now . oopsie

their ages / spots in the timeline have been swapped around too ! pebbles and moon are now both gen 2 , while suns and sig are gens 1 and 3 respectively . the slugcats follow the timeline of whoever they're swapped with ( rivulet is the first campaign , gourmand goes right after , then the outlaw (?) , etc )

i WILL be tweaking the designs for these guys ( especially the iterators since i have specific generation-based design conventions for them and All Of Them would be breaking those conventions if i let them keep their usual designs ) but i am Not That Good at spontaneous character design so i will be doing that !! later !!!

"Afraid you would lose old man? Too pussy to play against a human?" You knew you were playing with fire by insulting him, even playfully, because if Mammon had said that he would be tied upside down, hanging from a chandelier somewhere in the house of lamentation.

"What the fuck did you just say to me?!" ... Uh-oh. "You've got some nerve, I just hope that nerve is brave enough to groom Cerberus after you lose." Lucifer stands up from his desk, grabbing your arm and dragging you into the common room where the shared gaming console is.

"Huh?! You think you can beat the Great and Powerful Mammon at gambling?? HAHAHA ARE YOU FUCKING SERIOUS??" The demon of greed almost keels over from laughter, slapping his knee at the joke he thinks your making.

"Yes, I am completely and utterly serious. How about this, winner not only gets all the money, but also the title of Devildoms best gambler, and loser has to slap Lucifer in the face." You smirk, knowing Mammon will do anything to win as the embodiment of greed, he wins at everything when money is involved. However, you have a trick up your sleeve.

You talk the rest of the brothers into playing poker with you and Mammon, except for the eldest. They are all willing to cheat and help you with your little trick just to see the chaos unfold when he has to slap Lucifer.

The whole game, everyone gets amazing cards, everyone except for Mammon. Unfortunately for him, you use your pact to force him into placing down his cards every time, losing more and more money until he eventually loses the game, and all the brothers immediatly forfeit after that, leaving you as the technical winner.

"Feel better?" You ask, smiling softly at his silly nature. "Very much. Thank you Mc." He talks with his mouth full, shoving as many cheeseburgers as he can straight into his stomach.

Wow i suck at answering these on time smh. sighhhh, in my defense i procrastinate answering some questions cuz i don't wanna just put together some random stuff and call it a day-

i actually wrote some stuff for some asks before but had to delete it last minute cuz i thought its worth putting more time than that, i guess TvT sorry, im probably taking this too seriously idk.

k so, light envuzi involved too, Uzi is the mediator here, whether u consider her a friend here or their mini toaster in the middle- also there's some of the stuff from my future version where V is safe and sound thankfully. and also maybe some stuff from their past too.

With how N was realizing that V was lying or hiding stuff from him in a constant manner, naturally he grew to grieve the loss of who V USED to be, and with that loss he tried to accept that he has to let her go, because the V he fell in love with was long gone. despite this, when they both started teasing each other over their relationship with Uzi and N started to bite back a bit at Vs behaviors with more self confidence, they grew to form a completely different kind of relationship. Uzi was just having fun seeing them try to win her over lmao; but in the end they kind of started enjoying eachothers company again. Uzi felt happy seeing them get closure for the things they went through and was more than happy to support them through it.

Back at the manor V was fixed up after J and N, she was one of the later drones added to the family, she hardly spent much time at the manor at all before the great yeetening happened- she was originally a maid drone for a family before she was broken and dumped in the drone corpse junkyard. Maid drones are programmed with sweet and soft AIs with more round/short body shapes to have a friendly image in a household, they are made to be able to deal with both adults and kids, and they are best made for cleaning and setting up the house in mind. N was made as a butler/chauffeur before getting broken and yeeted in the junkyard [yes he can drive]. Due to V getting broken for some sort of mistake during work, she was left scarred after her reboot to make any more mistakes, which left her slightly jitter-ish and clumsy. Tessa put N in charge to help her around and although at the beginning V didn't talk much and felt unsure, slowly N became her safe space- especially since Tessas abusive parents remind V alot of her old household. N in turn thought V was always cute, he helped her with her work, having more steady hands, which ended with a lot more hand touching and blushing on both their ends :p

N was the one that suggested glasses for V which Tessa decided to try doing to see if it would help her visual efficiency in any way, and it did. V as a DD often tries to rely on her real eyes rather than look through her main visor, the glasses remind her too much of N...

N and V sometimes used to get out of the manor in secret spots to spend some time away from the chaos to help V calm down. during this time they would read books, learn stuff from each others past lives, and sometimes draw lol, but V just liked watching and listening to N, she felt happy with him. although unlike N, V felt a bit nervous around the animals in the area XD

N and V actually have shared kisses, just not on the lips. with N kissing her on the back of her hand as a gentleman and V giving him kisses on his cheek [Tessa's idea of a cute plan to put them under a mistletoe lol], but Vs last words to N was a promise to give him a kiss before she became comatose. as more drones in the manor stopped working and Ns efficiency and work became less useful to the manors occupants due to him wanting to spend time with V all the time, Louisa and James started becoming more impatient with Tessa's drones, which lead to the whole "get rid of them" line...

back in the current time V is obviously trying to protect N in her own traumatized way; but even then, most of the things she had done to "shelter" N, was probably not the best choice one could make, and some of it was done out of jealousy towards N and Uzi getting closer. However, slowly she started convincing herself that N deserved someone like Uzi. V had convinced herself that she deserves nothing. She was willing to give up everything for N and keep him safe from the beginning, even if it meant knocking N down a few limbs/heads just to keep him away from danger- which is problematic in itself. she made choices based off fear and urgency. she was always traumatized.

When N and V started getting along together a bit more and hanging around a bit in the human cities- V takes N to a bookstore she found once and they spent the whole day in the shelter of the store reading different old books. V still does not admit she did this to see N happy again lol.

When N started showing V affection again, V started becoming heavily touch starved and dependent on him again, just like the manor days, which she feared, which caused a minor set back for a while where she tried to avoid N. Uzi had to come and fix this shit cuz apparently only she can scold 2 dinosaurs without feeling intimidated. after N and V kiss for the first time PROPERLY after the whole solver BS ends, V just gets more touch starved and she hates both N AND Uzi for this lmao.

N and Uzi know that one of the only ways to make V calm down is to act soft with her, occasionally praising her and calling her nice things; even when V is literally threatening to bite their head off- [shes bluffing-.......mostly.]

N is usually the one that initiates any closeness with V. after their first kiss, N does tell her that she's done stuff that he might not be able to casually forgive, but at the same time he has seen her grow, and she does have good in her that he still loves her for.

V has nightmares and hardly ever sleeps, and when she does, its usually cuddling N or Uzi.

V tries to wear her glasses more often in the future. N likes it a lot :"3

V is surprisingly a good mom :p [spoilers for my au lmao bye] but yeah, since her original OS was for a maid, she still has some functions to be good with little ones. she cant help herself, she just really likes babies and kids.

N likes sometimes ballroom dancing with V for old times sake...

So in this request, if they are open, of Riddle having a Yuu!Female reader s/o that is naturally gifted prodigy in fencing & swordsmanship, making her a bold, fiercely talented swordswoman who usually wields double swords (but is just as well with one). Both mostly got closer after his overblot since she was involved in defending him (somehow).

Just headcanons of Riddle having a s/o that is physically stronger than him (and affectionate when just the two of them since she also isn’t much of a pda person)

Extra: After getting to know a bit more of Diasomnia, she also manages to go under Lilia’s training after finding out he trains Sebek and Silver because she wants to continue sharpening her skills and seeing any form of improvement.

Ace laughed in your face when you told him, Deuce and Grim to wait in front of Ramshackle for you to get something, and you came out of the dorm with a pair of swords dangling from your waist, supporting your dominant hand

“Why are you bringing a sword with you? Where did you even find that thing?!”

It was an older pair of swords you found abandoned in one of the Ramshackle rooms, mere days before Ace and Deuce decided to challenge Riddle for his housewarden spot

Something about them told you they would be useful in the situation at hand

But even after hearing your reasoning, Ace still laughed in your face

Boy, was he proven wrong not too long after...

Riddle was just punched by Ace and, before your brain was able to catch up to what was happening, Riddle spiraled out of control

Everyone was trying to reason with him, yet it seemed as if he completely shut out everyone around him

Everyone turned from disobedient students into living targets of his fury

The gravity of the situation finally sunk in when Riddle summoned the rose trees all around the maze and ordered them to attack Ace

Yet, before thinking in through, you jumped in front of Ace and sliced away the threatening branches

They detached from the trunk, turning into cut pieces of cards as they flew past you and your friend

If you wouldn't have stepped in, Trey’s signature spell would’ve kicked in too late

The sky darkened as Riddle’s inner world started to collapse, bringing chaos and destruction to the outside world as well as he overblotted

“In my world, I am the law. I am order made manifest! The only response I will accept from you is ‘Yes, Housewarden Riddle’! All who defy me will lose their heads!”

And, while your Heartslabyul friends and Grim decided to face Riddle head-on, you decided to stay back and protect any incoming danger towards the students the Headmage was evacuating

The crowd of students around the magic mirror diminished, so you returned to the main place of action

Which turned out to be a good call, as a lot of flying debris caused by rogue spells kept flying towards the students

And you managed to redirect any incoming danger with your mysterious swords

Just in time to see Riddle collapse to the ground

You stayed close to Riddle when he woke up and was taken to the nurse's office, and visited him as often as you could

While you felt a personal duty to help out Ace and Deuce repair their destroyed labyrinth, you also wanted to keep Riddle company, mostly to assure him there were no hard feelings between the two of you after what happened

…But your intention were not as clear as you intended initially

Riddle was mostly silent and cautious, and so were you, which made things kind of awkward

Compared to his wary nature, you were trying to be at least a little bit comforting

And he finally realised your intentions when you brought him some tea in a thermos

He was truly astonished by your gesture, even touched by your small kindness

It was some milk tea with herbs he didn’t quite recognise, sweetened with a bit of honey

Bits and pieces of a memory of his crying about milk tea with honey flooded his mind, piecing together the puzzle of your intentions

Not only did you remember such a small thing, but you also went out of your way to cater to him while he was still atoning to his mistakes

Shortly after, Heartslabyul started getting back to its orderly peace as the unbirthday party put together was fast approaching

And you were very satisfied with the peace and quiet

What you didn’t expect, however, was Riddle’s sudden summon to his room directed to you and you alone

You entered Riddle’s room, and he turned around in his chair towards you, leaving the paperwork he was looking over unattended

He was back to working as diligently as ever, something you weren’t sure was appropriate so early in his recovery

But Riddle’s face looked serene and at peace despite his serious eyes, and you decided not to comment

“I believe it is time for the two of us to have a proper conversation about what happened. I know your visits while I was bedridden were… not the most conversation-filled, but I would rather not leave any rocks unturned.”

As gentlemanly as ever, Riddle guided you to an empty seat in his room, and he sat down only after you sat down yourself

“I want to apologise to you for what you witnessed.”

You were taken aback by the apology, but Riddle was not done yet

You listened as Riddle poured his heart out to you

“I have heard you were a main participant in ensuring the safety of the student body. It might be hard to believe, but…”

Something in Riddle’s eyes softened, before his gray eyes regained their composed coldness

“I am not cold hearted. I may be harsh, but I care about my card soldiers.”

And you were aware of that

While you helped the Heartslabyul students put themselves together, you’ve heard the grateful stories of a relieved group of students who praised Riddle for his dedication and meticulous nature

They told many stories about Riddle taking time off his schedule to tutor struggling students, who always did his best to offer guidance and who never raised his voice while explaining to students how to tend to the Heartslabyul animals

“I may have fallen short, but you have proven yourself to have a good head on your shoulder in times of need. I thank you for ensuring the safety of my card soldiers.”

You took a few seconds to process his words before formulating your response

Riddle’s eyes widened slightly, and something sparkled in his eyes as a proud smile blossomed on his face

And your heart couldn’t help but skip a beat, being witness of the first time you gave Riddle a reason to smile

“That’s a very elegant answer. You sure are an interesting person, Prefect.”

As time went on, you and Riddle became good friends

Your friendship mainly consisted of you finding your way to Riddle and striking conversations as you followed him around

You didn’t have a particularly threatening aura, but the swords you used during the Heartslabyul event became a permanent part of your uniform

Initially the teachers were not too on board with a permanently armed student, especially since the student body was filled with rambunctious individuals

Yet, Riddle vouched that you knew when it was appropriate to use the swords, putting the professor’s minds somewhat at ease

Lines started blurring little by little as your attachment to Riddle became more obvious, and Rook’s teasing towards Trey about him “losing his spot as Riddle’s knight” started reaching your ears

But you didn’t quite mind

And neither did Riddle

He was, if anything, in awe at your abilities

Riddle was amazed at how natural swords looked in your hands, how your sways and slashes were always forceful yet elegant, wide yet precise

And the sweaty sight of you after a training session did, admittedly, leave Riddle with a racing heart and mind

But, above all, he admired your dedication to improve despite having no guidance

And, with a little push from Ace and Deuce, he put together a plan to help you in that regard

You just entered your dorm when the most unusual gathering of people was seated in your living room

While Ace and Deuce were around often enough to become honorary Ramshackle members slash dorm decoration, Riddle, Sebek and Silver were not part of your usual guest list

You were surprised to hear the invitation extended by a sleepy Silver and a very reluctant Sebek for you to join their training sessions

And it was revealed how Riddle used his connection to the two guards as fellow equestrian club members to ask them for a favor

After you all settled some details with the guards, they took their leave, and exited the dorm as Sebek kept yelling about not allowing you to fall short

And being the teasing pieces of work that Ace, Deuce and Grim were, they left you and Riddle alone as they winked at you

“Is this your way of making sure I keep ‘fulfilling my duty’ as the resident day saver and Hearstlabyul knight?”

Your teasing made Riddle throw you an unimpressed glance that was quickly replaced by a smile

“I am quite sure this will do nothing to diminish the use of your newly acquired moniker, but my priority is to ensure you keep honing the craft you are so obviously proud of.”

Riddle’s words were truly touching, and it was so like him to go out of his way to help the people he cared about…

“Besides, I don’t really mind the moniker. It must mean the students are starting to recognise your skill and dedication.”

That statement really made your heart skip a beat

You hesitated before you took Riddle’s hand into your own

“Well… If you don’t mind the nickname, then I don’t mind it either.”

And you brought Riddle’s hand to your lips, leaving a kiss so soft Riddle almost though he only imagined the soft press of your lips to his knuckles

He took his leave soon after your biggest show of affection yet, but you didn’t mind

Despite Riddle’s reddening face usually being considered a bad omen, you quite enjoyed the brilliant glow of red on his cheeks as he left your dorm

Web of Lies hermitcraft AU (Summary/info post)

Grian is surprised when Jimmy contacts him, especially since they haven't spoken in years. Back then, Grian was still a journalist who secretly worked with villains and Jimmy was a young adult who got accepted into a hero program...

Apparently Jimmy had become a vigilante instead, and the reason he contacted Grian was because he and his civilian friend Joel were creating an underground fighting ring and they needed workers for the bar above it that functions as a cover up.

He's hesitant to accepts their offer, since he's been trying to stay out of any... Crime "Shenanigans" for the past few years since quiting his job as a journalist, but agrees after they assure him that they just need a civilian worker that won't rat them out to the heroes.

Everything goes well at first and Grian slowly gets to know the other staff members better, that is until he starts to overhear more and more strange conversations between his co-workers, mentioning a strange type of magic that has been causing chaos in the city recently. It sounds awfully familiar to a cult Grian knows from his time as a journalist in Evo.

Grian is determined to stay out of it, ESPECIALLY if it turns out he's correct about the watchers being involved, but he has to at least do something, right?

Or, Grian has to make a choice between his quiet life as a "civilian" and saving his friends. Determined to do both, he tries to influence the watchers games from behind the scenes without anyone finding out, even going as far as creating new secret personas. Too bad the watchers think identity reveals are incredibly entertaining...

i remember you doing a poll long time ago, about who would win a love island and ever since i’ve been thinking about of how messy it would be if it all of your couples would be in the show. i feel like syrup yn and oikawa would definitely cause unnecessary arguments to get screentime and we would see them giggle about it during the night. static yn and noya seem like they would try pull pranks on the other couples or instigate beef in order for them to win which could possibly backfire on them (specifically pull pranks on get back yn and hinata since they could be a fans favourite due to them being cute childhood lovers) RAMBLING BUT IT WOULD BE SO CHAOTIC HELP

on repeat yn and kageyama get together on night one and stay together the entire time; they're just minding their business in the villa and do not get involved in any drama between the other couples (despite how much oikawa tries to drag kageyama into it) producers and the viewers forget about them but then they like come in top three because people like how chill they are together

syrup yn and oikawa are arguing every single day abt stupid shit and you're absolutely right it's for screen time. they would take challenges so seriously and they would purposefully do shady things for drama ( oikawa gets the question "who in the villa do u think is the fakest" and he would pick yn and she would cry about it but then ur right during the night they'd be like 'lmafo'). a bombshell would come in and try to steal away yn tho and oikawa would genuinely spin out. (that pool scene with rob this season lmaffoo) and yn would be like can u calm down i dont like him

calloused hands yn and kuroo have DRAMAAAAAAA oh my god they have like honest ot god drama because yn has trust issues and kuroo comes on too dedicated & strong too soon so he's like day one "yeah this is my girl i want her" and she's like "hmmmmm i'm gonna wait and give it a second" and viewers don't like her because they think she's leading kuroo on but she's like "???? sorry he's in love with me i didn't make him" but eventually she does start to get on the same level as him and they're smooth sailing from there. they have die hard fans watching at home.

35mm yn and akaashi have a slow burner but they would never even entertain the idea of anyone else. they would both sleep on the outside beds during casa amor. people would call them a married couple and everyone else would come to them for advice. akaashi asks yn to be his girlfriend right after casa amor and then some new girl comes in right after and chooses to recouple with akaashi and the whole entire villa erupts into chaos but yn is actually unbothered

static yn and noya would be in a "friendship couple" and be like yeah we're looking for other connections until one day randomly in the middle of the night like halfway through the show they're just making out and they're like yeah actually we have a really strong connection :) noya would be possessive every time a new guy came in and cling to yn to let him know she was not available. anon u are correct they absolutely try fucking with everyone else

there's no queer relationships on love island which is stupid and also homophobic but if there were kiyoko and inked yn would absolutely win everyone would be in love with them from the start and it would be clear that they were like soulmates. halfway through they would be like "do u wanna just leave together i dont wanna be here with these people anymore" loyal from day 1

atsumu and count your losses yn do not start off together. atsumu wants only her but she's coupled up with someone else so he's kind of a player so he can stay in the villa until yn is out of her other couple and he's free to pursue her lol. she pretends not to like him but when someone else tries to steal him away she gets crazy jealous.

i feel like get back yn would be a day 1 girlie and hinata would be a bombshell and she would be like "oh my god. that's my ex." and it would be all over twitter. she hates him at first but he's obsessed with getting her back and the producers are definitely pushing them together. ur right they're fan favorites and when they finally get together (after FOREVER, post casa amor when it seems like the producers are rigging the recouplings just to keep both of them on) it trends for like a week

maneater yn and iwa are definitely that couple that are forced to couple up together (like they got voted by the public to be together or smth) and they don't get it at all. constantly fighting and bickering and shading each other during challenges and when they have to kiss they like. hardly do it and the producers get mad at them. and then no one's sure what happened because they still act like that except they chose to stay together during every recoupling and start hooking up at night but they still bicker and argue and shade each other and everyone is actually so confused about it

callloused hands yn and maneater yn and count your losses yn are best friends they're a very popular trio. they love holding all the men accountable and talking a ton of shit

get back yn, static yn, and inked yn are also very good friends and they spend most of their time on the villa together. they get in the pool a lot so they can take their mics out and try to teach each other morse code so they can talk without someone listening in/the producers getting mad at them but it doesn't work out

syrup yn, on repeat yn, and 35mm are our final trio and they are the criers. they love a good heart to heart and know how to put it on for the cameras. producers love them. they have little therapy sessions together but they're not real and they're definintely hamming it up. on repeat yn and 35mm yn do a lot of "comforting" of syrup yn when her and oikawa get into their 584 fake argument

akaashi makes 35mm an avacado toast and a coffee every morning and by the time she gets out she never wants to see another avacado again

noya got banned from cooking so static yn makes him breakfast in the morning and makes jokes abt being a trad wife that get cut from the show

iwa's always working out in that fuck ass gym and maneater yn walks and makes fun of him and says things like "bet you can't do a pull up with me on your back!"

iwa and kageyama get in trouble with producers because they never wanna do confessionals but their couples are up in there yapping 24/7 in that confessional booth

kuroo and ch yn are the best dressed couple in the villa

"we got the gingerbread houses!" arber announced, ushering your daughter inside before closing the door.

hana, your daughter, came stumbling in the kitchen, holding a gingerbread box that was much too big for her. your husband followed close behind, just in case she dropped it.

"is the icing ready already?" she asked, putting the gingerbread house box on the edge of the counter. arber laughed, picking her up a bit to help her place it more securely.

"it's ready!" arian, your son, said proudly to his little sister. "mommy and i made so many colours, look daddy!"

"oh wow," arber grinned at the different colours you and arian had been mixing up while he went shopping with hana. he ruffled arian's hair, "good job. this is gonna be the best gingerbread house ever!"

"i wanna see too!" hana raised her hands for arber to lift her. "show me, please."

arber lifted her up, showing her the reds, and blues, and pinks, and yellows you and arian had mixed up.

"woww," she muttered. "can i eat it?"

"no, hana," arian shook his head, sounding like a tired old man. "we need to decorate the house first."

"i can eat it after?"

"you can eat it after," he agreed.

you and arber shared a grin at their interaction. you had two kids and they were basically polar opposites. arian was the calmest child you'd ever met, absolutely content with whatever you gave him. meanwhile hana needed to cause chaos wherever she stepped.

"okay, okay, now that we have everything, we can start building," you decided.

you all grabbed the icing, candies, and gingerbread house, making your way to the living room. you'd set up an old tarp on the carpet just in case anything spilled (which was basically a certain with hana involved).

"for you, my love," arber held out the gingerbread box. "you may do the honours."

you laughed, ripping open the box as arber and your kids cheered. you broke apart the pieces, handing everyone a piece of the wall. putting the roof on the side, you turned to your piece of the gingerbread house.

hana immediately grabbed the yellow frosting and began spreading it all over the wall she had gotten.

"hana, it's going to make it heavy. the wall won't -- never mind," arian decided. "do whatever you want."

"okay," hana shrugged, continuing to spread the icing all over her gingerbread piece.

across from her, arian pipes a small amount of blue around the edges, drawing designs on it. across from you, arber drew a heart on his wall, with both of your initials inside, and hana and arian's right outside.

"you're such a dweeb," you rolled your eyes, laughing at his grin.

the four of you watched the home alone movies as you decorated your gingerbread pieces, laughing at each other's pieces and trying to hide your pieces from the others.

"i'm done," arian smiled, holding out his piece.

the rest of you brought your own pieces out, getting ready to build the actual house.

"oh no, it's falling!" hana cried, pointing at her piece.

she's smothered so much icing on it that it wouldn't stay up, no matter how much arber tried to get it stay.

"hold up, let me do it," you said, playing around with the icing. you allowed her piece to lean on the other walls. after a few minutes, you stepped back, grinning. "ta-da!"

"yay!" hana clapped.

arian laughed at her reaction, happy to see the gingerbread house standing.

"i don't know how you do it," arber muttered to himself, staring at you in awe.

"do what?" you asked.

"make me fall in love with you a little more," he answered simply.

you blushed, shoving him away as he laughed and pulled you close. you gave in, leaning against his chest as he pressed a kiss to your forehead.

"okay, stop being mushy guys," hana turned back to the gingerbread house. "it's time to make the roof."

you and arber exchanged a look, bursting into laughter.

"of course, princess," arber grinned at her. "let's make the roof of our house together."

Did you want my notes on Strike Force Five episode one? No? TOO BAD! YOU'RE GETTING THEM!

(Heavy spoilers for episode 1 if you plan on listening soon!)

- I love the show's overall vibe and the "roles" that all of the guys play. It's definitely a free-wheeling, off the rails kind of show, where everyone is rambling over each other; the personalities involved can make or break this kind of podcast, and everyone thankfully is playing to their strengths.

Kimmel serves as the overall show runner and is seemingly the only one endeavoring to keep anything on track, which is a slightly thankless job with this group, but he's got a soundboard and all his radio experience guiding him. Colbert also leans into being the other "elder statesman", as it were, but is much easier to derail (and provides his own episode eclipsing derail I'll talk about later). Fallon is surprisingly reserved and a bit awkward - I'm not the hugest fan of Fallon, but in this podcast, that energy serves him pretty well. Kimmel introduces Seth as "the cute one" and he seems the most neutral so far, just there to ask questions and crack jokes. And John is their super sarcastic "evil teammate" who occasionally interjects to just destroy everyone. Perfect dynamics, 10/10, no notes.

- Seth qualifies his eyes as ocean blue. John says they're Gatorade blue. I don't think I've ever laughed harder at a description of someone's eyes.

- There's a point where I assume there must have been a really blunt edit, because Fallon changes the topic abruptly to having a doctorate. Otherwise, I love the image of Fallon just sitting on that revelation and WAITING, BURSTING to talk about how he has a doctorate, while everyone else talks about Kimmel getting paid summers off.

- Everyone mention multiple times that they have sponsors and are doing this show to help pay their staff during the strikes, which is lovely. This does not mean they aren't taking the piss out of their sponsors. I never thought I'd hear worse ad copy reading than I do on The Jeff Gerstmann Show (I love Jeff, don't get me wrong, but his ad copy screaming is hilariously bad), but the Casamigos ad in this is something else. John spends most of his reading time shitting on a bleeped-out competitor that he calls "not fit for human consumption", Stephen says "you're gonna wanna wipe your ass with it" and likens it to the smoothness of sheets you make love on, there's a disembodied "woo" at some point, Seth stumbles all over a few Spanish words, and Fallon delivers his lines in his awful fake French Timothee Chalamet puppet voice. It's pure chaos and I love it so much.

- Kimmel referring to "the despicable Matt Damon" made me so happy.

- John has never done a deposition. Kimmel saying "I'm surprised you're not in prison" gets lost which is sad, that's a fucking hilarious joke.

- Fallon tells an amazing story about his mom being a nun for a week. She left after being reprimanded for taking Lifesavers into the nunnery and then left. My late aunt and best friend, who was also a nun, probably would have loved Jimmy's mom, as she was always going on wine tastings and picked the order she joined entirely based on who would let her continue to drink after taking her vows. Jimmy also has a picture of his mom dressed as a nun holding a doll dressed as a nun, which is absurd and adorable.

- This leads to everyone but Seth confessing that they'd all thought about becoming priests at some point. That doesn't shock me about Stephen at all, tbf, knowing how religious he is.

- I have to shamefully admit that when John mentioned that he told his father he wanted to be a vicar, my brain went to an extremely Fleabag place and I had to rewind the podcast once I snapped out of it and realized I'd missed like 3 minutes of jokes (including a fantastic one from Seth about John having a doll of himself as a child, like Fallon's mom's nun doll).

- "Don't you want a whole new crop of relatives to visit and entertain?" "Do you wanna get cancelled?! :D" The two Jimmys everyone.

- Stephen reveals who he has everyone saved as in his phone, to prevent people from figuring out who his contacts are if his phone gets stolen. John's is Joliver, which 1) was his name as written on TDS scripts to differentiate him from Jon Stewart, and 2) as everyone points out, is a VERY easy code to crack. Don't really need Sherlock for that one.

- ONE OF US ALERT: Stephen collects weird late night shit, like a hat from The Chevy Chase Show (John literally goes "WOW") and a silk jacket from The Pat Sajak Show. I am very jealous of this collection.

- Next episode everyone will talk about first episodes. I cannot wait to hear John talk about how all over the place his first episode is.

- The big story, running joke, and completely wild admission from this episode - Stephen Colbert has a pair of Nicaraguan dictator Anastasio Somoza's pants. Fallon asks how no one outbid him, and it turns out his MOTHER had them BECAUSE SHE DATED HIM. His uncle went to LaSalle Military Academy with Somoza, and Somoza stayed with them during holiday breaks. Everyone else in the room picks up on the idea that Stephen's mom probably slept with a dictator (or as Kimmel says, "made love to a murderer"), Seth claims his mom drinks coffee out of Ferdinand Marcos' skull, and every other male figure Stephen brings up for the rest of the episode is assumed to be someone his mom slept with.

If you asked me before listening to this podcast if I thought there were going to be a pile of elevated "your mom" jokes holding it together, I would have pretty strongly said "no". Surprises at every turn in this pod.

The beginning of this story also captures John SO STRONGLY, and he wants to hear everything about it. Definite Bugle vibes there, this man will never not want to hear about weird dictator facts. He also manages to completely kill Seth by saying "Anastasio Somoza's pants, brought to you by Casamigos".

- Finally, I have already sent an email to the show asking about Planet of the Bass, to make up for my complete failure to ask at the Q&A. I got y'all, we'll get this answer some day.

You look up into Onthyes's eyes. You know all too well what it's like to feel trapped, and he's clearly been there too. You realize that you don't just want to escape anymore. You want to take him with you.

"Maybe... If we get the chance, we could get out of here. Together."

He blinks down at you, taken aback. "That's really what you want? I kinda figured you just want to get away from me."

You shrug. "I did. Now I do not. You are too charming for your own good, Onthyes."

He laughs. His face is still so flushed you start to worry he could be feverish.

Then he leans in. His lips get so close to yours.

And you pull away. You can't afford the distraction right now.

He sits up straight, clearing his throat and looking away from you pointedly. "I'd um... I'd like that. If we get the chance, let's go off on our own."

"Yes," you agree, brushing off your clothes as you stand. "It's rather late. We should turn in."

Things get quiet over the next few days. You consider going to Erxik and telling him about Rye's plan multiple times, but something always stops you. You can't shake the feeling that the mutiny might be a good thing for you, that the chaos of it might give you a chance to escape this ship if you play your cards right.

It happens late at night. You and Onthyes wake up to the sound of yelling from above. You're muzzled, as you always are at night to reduce the risk of you using any spells while Onthyes sleeps.

Onthyes is on high alert instantly, sitting up in bed. "Something's happening."

It takes a moment for your groggy brain to catch up, but you quickly realize that the mutiny must have arrived. If you stay down here you'll surely miss out on the chaos. You need to get involved if you want any chance to benefit from it.

You get out of bed, trying to pull Onthyes towards the door by your shared chain. He doesn't even shift. "What are you doing? It's probably dangerous out there."

You glare at him, grumbling something through your muzzle. Frustrated, you reach up and try to rip it off your face, but it stays firmly clasped over your mouth.

Onthyes gestures you over with a sigh. You go to him and sink to your knees in front of him, lowering your head so he can unlock it and take it off. He uses his shirt to dry off the drool that had soaked the rubber mouthpiece before placing the muzzle on the bedside table.

"We should go up there," you say firmly.

"That's a bad idea."

You suppress a hiss but don't manage to stop yourself from baring your teeth at him.

"The mutiny's happening," you say through gritted teeth. "We should go up there. Unless you want Rye to be in charge from now on?"

"That... would be bad."

"Yes, exactly. Let's go."

With a sigh, he goes above deck with you.

It's a clear night, moonlight shining down on the scene as Rye faces off one-on-one with Erxik, each with swords drawn. The pair is surrounded by Rye's buddies. Tinny is on the ground, a cut on her forehead dripping blood into her eyes as someone binds her wrists together so she can't interfere.

"Alright, old man," Rye sneers. "If a duel is how you wanna die, I'll gladly put my steel through your guts."

You and Onthyes stay back from the group, watching as Rye and Erxik cross swords. The others stay back, honor-bound to let the duel play out. Literal fire dances behind Erxik's eyes as he and Rye's swords clash, the sound echoing across the deck.

They're both fierce fighters, and the duel takes them all over the ship. Although he is much older, Erxik fights with a level of control and precision that clearly frustrates Rye, who relies on brute strength and primal ferocity.

The key to your shackles glints on a chain around Erxik's neck.

In the end, it's Rye who has Erxik backed against the railing of the ship, his sword pointed at the captain's throat. Erxik's sword splashes into the dark sea below.

"He can't win," Onthyes whispers. "We can't let him."

you absolutely sent me more material to work with than the prompt asked, which rocks. happy to talk about scout and pyro platonically and/or romantically tbh! for the sake of this being the first time i talk about them (i think) i'll keep it PG but feel free to follow up if you wanna hear NSFW stuff 👍

general opinion:

i think they're neat together! a lot of people are reluctant to ship them together romantically which is like, fair enough etc but it feels like that'd be overlooking their potential for both chaos for the sake of chaos (fun!) and true tenderness between two people who generally might feel pretty misunderstood and isolated from the rest of the team for various reasons (also fun!).

because theyre both on offensive roles i can see them interacting regularly On The Job as well which is always great to write imo.

headcanons:

i generally think scout and pyro are close friends even before becoming romantically involved or whatever...

i like the idea of scout being a bit scared of pyro at first because they're a big question mark, but because scout is this person who finds any challenge worth his time he takes it upon himself to be The First Who Befriends That Weirdo (affectionate).

he'll learn how to decipher pyro's mumbling and learn sign language (which also helps on the battlefield where it's often loud!).

scout is of course extremely curious about what's under the mask but he doesn't pry. none of his business. but if pyro ends up revealing themselves you know he'll be like 👀👀👀

pyro's just glad someone's willing to stick around with them! they don't mind being a loner but like, company is always nice.

they probably also feel pretty >:) about scout—this big talker jock and generally annoying dickhead—being actually nice to them. the power they hold over him... i reckon they feel pretty good about it.

scout strikes me as a romantic regardless of who he's paired up with, and pyro seems like a cuddler so i think their relationship as Lovers would be soooo sweet... inseparable and always goofing around and laughing and pulling (sometimes VERY dangerous) pranks on their teammates.

they're two fucked up little guys who somehow find each other in a weird fucked up world <3

now to specifically get to The Prompt from the ask LMFAO... hotel HUH...

i can imagine a scenario where they have to spend the night in some kind of motel for a duo contract or something and it's (gasp) a room with twin beds bc why would it be a double bed? fanfiction is contrived man (winks knowlingly at the person reading this)...

anyway scout checks in on his own bc he doesnt want pyro's Appearance to alarm the reception lady (little does he know that the lady would think absolutely NOTHING of it, she's seen worse, she's been workin this reception desk for 30 years you know), grabs the key and then gets both him and pyro in.

i think as soon as they get in they jump on the beds like trampolines because The Urge To Have Fun is too strong lmao.

i feel like they first sleep separately but then scout maybe notices pyro having bad dreams or tossing and turning so he just ends up snuggling up with pyro to comfort them :) or it could be the other way around if you want really, i think neither of them is truly free from insomnia, night terrors, and PTSD lol.

i feel like i could go on and just write a ficlet from just this idea but i'll stop here LOL thank you so much for indulging me!
