I started my master's degree at the beginning of September, and as much as I love it, I have been writing the driest nonsense you could possibly imagine. i think it’s hilarious that i began shipping winteriron/tonybucky just because i love both their characters and at the time didn’t even think about how they would actually interact in canon. and then, when i did acknowledge that, my love for them became even WORSE. the tragic loves, the type where it’s built off deeper circumstances that go beyond just you and me, and finding love in the middle. the “i found love when i wasn’t looking” or “love wrapped around my throat and pulled me to you with no remorse” kinda thing. not exactly enemies to lovers but something harder.
