Ms Saki, I claimed Mr Harth said all the Rito were ashamed of Revali. But I realized that was false. He never said that. I told you a lie. I think I might of made things worse because I jumped the gun. What can I do to fix this?

Cree dear, you know you're not supposed to use the Pad without your mother's supervision. It takes a while for Link to recharge the batteries, and we want to be courteous of his time.

I regret to say I'll be missing the new year celebrations this time around. I am homeward bound, however! It'll be good to see you again, friend.

Ah, and I misspoke—Master Revali now has my bandoneon (buttons on both sides, you see), the one I was carrying when Link asked if I was a bird all that time ago! I selected the piano accordion for this journey, as it's a little more intuitive for strangers to play on when being interviewed.

I've received word that the Rito are using this portal for correspondence, and since my Sheikah communication device mysteriously vanished, I've needed a way to keep in touch with family and the rest of the village.

It may be some time before I'm back in Hyrule (my maps have disappeared with the device they were on), but I'll do my best to keep up with any inquiries in the meantime.

Hmm, it's like a reimagining of our ancient vocation, carrying the mail...I wonder if I have a song somewhere on that.

Goodness, I never expected my absence would be noticed to such an extent! My only regular audience is Link and the stablemasters. Your kind words warm my heart on this cool afternoon.

Let's begin at Calamity's End, shall we? After the celebrations, the Princess was told of how several of the old songs aided Link with his quest to regain his strength after awakening. After some inquiry, she pronounced me "Director of Ethnomusicologic Artifact Preservation." I'm not entirely certain what it means, but I get the gist of it.

You may have seen yourselves how the Song of the Stormwind Ark played a critical role in addressing the effects of the upheaval. These ancient melodies contain so many keys—to histories, heritages, and Hylia's boons to the recurring swordsman and princess of legend. The Princess believes many of these keys lie outside of Greater Hyrule, and she requested that I extend my journey—that I expand my tribute to my late teacher into a research survey.

At the time, Lady Purah had made progress in communication device development that would allow me to send and receive live moving picture messages. Assured that I would be able to easily spend time with family by these means, I set off on a preliminary search.

And I was making some headway too, before my communicator vanished, apparently with much of the ancient Sheikah technology. I can only imagine how distraught the princess must have been. I fortunately had the backup device I'm currently using, the Purah Pilot, which contains no ancient parts. (As I understand it, it is largely superceded by what you're all calling the Purah Pad).

You may be glad to know, then, that in light of these setbacks I am making my way home now. Unfortunately, any progress I had made mapping out these regions disappeared with my communicator. I sadly do not have Goflam's fabled directional intuition, so the going is rather slow; however, I am confident we shall meet again!

Much appreciated, but my eyesight is middling at best—Harth will tell you I'm a terrible shot with a bow. For some professional lookers, you'll want to ask after the Rito guard or the Rito and Hylian Champions.

This evening, it's some sort of goby I pulled out of a nearby fishing hole. I must confess to not being the best cook, especially on the road. The family's resident gourmand, Genli, isn't shy about her preference for dear Amali's meals!

Here now, I once met a painter who taught me his signature technique. I apologize for the rendering; it's much inferior to his, I fear.

My old teacher used to tell me when I asked him this question, "I play every song as if it's my favorite," and I have to say I've adopted this frame of mind somewhat. I couldn't really pick a favorite song any more than I could pick a favorite daughter.

That said, there are some old Rito lullabies I hold very dear indeed.
