Thank you Mark Brady for finding this image of me filming the 25th Anniversary Concert for Dinosour Jr’s release of the ‘You’re Living All Over Me’ LP. It was an amazing night as the band’s original line up was joined by a star studded supporting cast: Lee Ranaldo and Kim Gordon of Sonic Youth, Frank Black from the Pixies, Johnny Marr of The Smiths, Dale Crover from the Melvins, Tommy Stinson of The Replacements, Kyle Spence from Harvey Milk, Kurt Vile, Al Cisneros from Sleep, Kevin Drew of Broken Social Scene, Suzanne Thorpe of Mercury Rev, Don Fleming, Dante Ferrando, John Petkovic and Fred Armisen. This album brings back the fondest of memories of this great band! The entire album is brilliant! A fact in clear evidence on their fourth, and perhaps second best, LP, Tim with fabulously infectious tunes like Kiss Me On The Bus, Waitress In The Sky, Bastards of Young + Left Of The Dial, to name just a few. . The 'Mats had far bigger aspirations. But sadly, never scored the big hit band leader Paul Westerberg was so desperately chasing. And the recording career of these once ultimate underground indie darlings faded into sweet oblivion in the early '90s. Here's a happy 35th to Tim and the Trouble Boys themselves! . P.S.
