Another interview that seems relatively achievable despite my lack of experience.

In this interview with David Bowie I like the consistent changing shots and I suspect that the B-roll is being used to cover up the cuts of footage to make it flow more naturally.

I am pleasantly pleased with the outcome of my video. The multiple scenes being put together in different orders as well as the fast paced nature of each frame I feel really adds to the overall suspense of the work. The use of silhouette also adds a clear sense of mystery while the use of only the colour red allows for consistency but importantly a sense of danger to come across to the viewer.

Target Market

I feel that the clear horror aspect of the video would mean it would best be targeted at those who have an affinity for this particular genre, especially young adults. Because of the shorter length of the video, I feel like it would be best viewed as a reel on instagram. This way it would also reach the highest amount of people because of social medias massive influence on young adults.

Like countless floating dots on the canvas in space, all the components that exist are multi-layered causal factors that emerge inter-relatedly, and they are the potential and the reality that are endlessly proliferating. 

Color as digitized pure visual information, and polygons and lines as atomic particles symbolizing cosmic fundamental universality, have acquired a new existence extending into infinite space in their free-flowing movements.

'A Sense of Place' - Plan

I plan on focusing more on lacking a sense of place. I plan on making a project about my home town. Wishaw has a rich history and was once a hotspot within the central belt in the 20th century. It has been on a downward spiral since the 80s and has become a shell of itself, entirely lacking any sense of community. I want to show how isolating it can be living in a town which is so run down and has become so close minded. I want to show the contrast between the energy it held for example in the 70s compared to now, showing what popular sites look like now.

Considering the time constraints I have I won't have nearly as much time I'd need to plan the shoot as well as this or have the time ill need to edit like this as ill need to also teach myself how to do that as i go along. I'd love to have shots of Twig working away on their art and cut back to the interview. The workspace they have at GSA is very small so massive establishing shots won't work. It'll have to be more closer since they share half of a small cubicle with another artist and I don't want their work to be confused for Twigs.
