An impromptu celebration of the festival success of "The Red Market" brings together the film's producer-actor Ramiro Leal and writer-director Christopher Matthew Spencer (left to right), who honor the dedication and talent of the entire cast and crew. Special acknowledgment is given to the teams from Brian Cutler Actors Studio and Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapman University, whose alumni and students play a vital role in bringing this vision to life. With screenings at the Regal at LA Live in November and across theaters and film festivals worldwide—from the United States and Asia to Europe, including Tokyo and Italy—307 submissions have resulted in 27 official selections and 3 awards. The team extends its gratitude to the many generous festival directors who waived entry fees, enabling the film to reach diverse audiences. We are deeply proud of this accomplishment and eager for more viewers to experience the compelling story, stellar performances, visual effects, and original score. Welcome to For Attention. Art in the fold of Education, a two-day doctoral colloquium of the research cluster Art, Pedagogy and Society (Image, LUCA School of Arts, Ghent) on May 2 and 3.

The doctoral colloquium focuses on the role of education in the cluster Art, Pedagogy and Society. The researchers will present how their artistic research corresponds to education. For this occasion, we invite Tim Ingold, professor emeritus of social anthropology at University of Aberdeen, who relates anthropology, art and education. He will attend the colloquium and give a public lecture on LEADING OUT AND LEANING OVER: THE POSTURE OF EDUCATION IN THE WORK OF GENERATIONS. The public lecture takes place on May 2 at 18u.

last night i was at a filmscreening for trans and inter shortfilms. as i was sliding into the row i saw a girl further down wearing a pink hoodie with 'alecto' written in the barbie font. i couldnt get her attention bc it was too loud and she too far away, but luckily i'm finishing up nona. so i got the book out, waiting for her to look in my direction and pointed at her and the book and she lost it lmao.
