First time he looks at it he knows, he knows he wants it, but he cant admit it yet, so he just has increasingly insane moments of being so ravenous for Evan's firehose but wont ask for it and Buck starts to notice and teases him, wears grey sweatpants to muay thai. Sprinkles words like stick shift and cockpit into conversation. One day he just drops that shit onto a plate in front of Tommy at the table with an audible thunk.

not gonna lie i think even for people who do experience romantic attraction, the pressure to always be in a relationship and the pressure to get married can be harmful.

like i feel like part of why divorce rates are super high and why dating and married couples are so fucking MEAN to their partners is that they don't actually WANT or are ABLE to be in a relationship, they feel pressured to be.

maybe that alloromantic/allosexual girl is always mean to her boyfriends because she isn't READY for a boyfriend and feels like she has to constantly be dating.

I like being married but not everyone wants or- even if they DO want it- is ready for that??? but after a certain point people start treating couples shitty and side eyeing them if they've been dating "too long" without marrying, like it's an obligation after a certain amount of time or a red flag if someone doesn't propose.

this DOES NOT EXCUSE being a toxic partner if ur in a relationship but it is something worth thinking about.

idk it's just shitty i guess. and of course it's worse for aro and/or ace people; tho i can't rlly speak for them.

c!Sapnap was the reason c!Dnf had a falling out because he actively lied to c!George about cDream’s priorities by saying he didn’t care about them when that’s not even what c!Tommy said. Like, talking to your best friend’s enemy about whether or not your brother in arms actually liked you aside—- c!tommy very much specified that all c!Dream really cared about was c!George and yet that’s not what c!Sapnap told Gogy.

c!tommy was also talking out of his ass the whole time like ASLKFJAKJS as if the entire spirit speech wasn't explicitly in the context of talking about LITERAL OBJECTS

that being said, yeah, c!sapnap absolutely was lying...jealousy? to make himself feel better? to shield c!george from what he thought was c!dream's inevitable not caring for him too? c!dteam are so fucking funny and interesting tbh--all of their storylines are very much connected to each other (bc c!dteam were a unit and are deeply important to each other as characters) and all of them are so fucked up, c!sapnap especially. that man had every goddamn issue ever

Yeah, I’ll admit that was midnight for me so I was half asleep and I do think perhaps toxic isn’t the right word to describe them. Though upon googling, parts of the internet do seem to just characterize an unhealthy relationship as toxic.

Regardless, I could write a whole essay one this… maybe I will. But what I am meaning to say is that honestly, this may be harsh but I don’t think c!Tommy is a good friend to c!Tubbo. I can’t think of one instance where c!Tommy did anything for c!Tubbo without it being an apology or as part of a larger motivation. (I mean feel free to correct me on that, it’s actually something I was rewatching lore for.)

I mean can you honestly say c!Tubbo’s life is better as c!Tommy’s friend? C!Tubbo was friends with everyone before c!Tommy made him choose sides. C!Tommy continuously ropes him into things that endanger his life or make it miserable. C!Tommy continues to deplete c!Tubbo’s resources and is the reason he keeps ending up with nothing. C!Tommy doesn’t listen to what c!Tubbo says and c!Tubbo just goes along with whatever c!Tommy wants him too even if he disagrees. One of if not the only times he doesn’t just follow what c!Tommy wants is Exile. Not to say c!Tommy was the only destructive force in c!Tubbo’s life (c!Quackity and c!Wilbur certainly are big factors too) but they aren’t under the guise of being his “best friend.”

Last time I checked a relationship whether romantic or not should be double sided. But I just don’t see clingy duo as having that 50-50 (or as my dad likes to say 100-100 because both people have to put forth 100% of their effort in a relationship). But it’s not like c!Tommy abused c!Tubbo directly, so I guess that is why I used toxic. Because c!Tommy seems to me to be a toxic force poisoning c!Tubbo’s life.
