steve rogers should have been nomad in avengers endgame, not suburban steve. get that bitch a fucking motorcycle, a leather jacket, and a nihilistic outlook on life. a wallet with crumpled twenties and a faded photo he pulls out on tough days, of him and his team. him and his family. give him conspiracies and a safe house full of old case files and classified information he’s stolen from abandoned military bases and dead end after dead end. send him into shady bars and old buildings and to people who had a shred of information. send him to San Fran where he goes to a storage unit and finds an old van and an old friend and suddenly there’s hope again. but most of all??? he could have kept the BEARD.

He was so preoccupied with his drawing that he didn't notice heavy footsteps outside the room. Bucky had returned from a mission, his expression tired and bruised.

Steve just watched as his boyfriend wordlessly grabbed the blanket from the bed and covered himself with it. He approached the little artist and rested his chin on his shoulder, letting out a sigh that released all the tension.

"Tiring day, huh?"

The Avengers have a pool party and someone drops an icecream or smth on Steve's chest and he's all like 'guys can we not waste food' and Bucky steps in like 'yeah growing up in the Depression and going through the war makes it very hard for us to watch food going to waste' and 1) holds Steve's hip 2) dives down, 3) licks the melted icecream all the way up from his abs to his tits, 4) the avengers lose their shit, 5) Steve has achieved a shade of red not previously thought to have existed, 6) He dashes to the showers, 7) Bucky follows him saying "I'll just go help him", 8) Tony has to turn up the music to drown out the commotion in the showers
