Batman Hush Thoughts Part 2
(Batman 611-612)
Tumblr media
It’s sort of funny to see little Bruce so in awe of and excited to see Green Lantern when now he doesn’t get along very well with Green Lantern
Tumblr media
I feel like not being in Gotham should make them safer actually.
They spent the whole time looking for a hero but soon they would be faced with what turned Bruce into a hero.
It’s still so sad that they drifted apart because they look like such good friends in all the flash backs.
Tumblr media
How dare you assume it’s a girl Tommy? What if it was a boy Tommy? (I mean it’s not this time but it could be)
Tumblr media
I love how his only complaint about his wife and best friend flirting with eachother is that it’s not appropriate office behavior.
Like guys flirt some other time. PDA is not ok
(Also another incident of Bruce having chemistry with literally everyone)
Tumblr media
I love how well they know eachother
(Also refer to what I said about Bruce having chemistry with everyone)
Tumblr media
Ahh! I’m going to cry. I love Batman’s self critical thoughts though they make me sad.
But it makes me happy to see the reverence he has for Superman even if his goodness is exploited as a weakness. They have so much respect for eachother
Tumblr media
I love how Batman is just a shadow man in this panel.
I love how his entire plan rests on the pure goodness of Superman which he has no doubt in (though Catwoman could catch Lois if things went south)
Tumblr media
I love that Superman’s desire not to hurt Batman is strong enough that he can hold back despite Ivy’s orders.
Tumblr media
Love the glance between Bruce and Selina and the immediate agreement. It’s so cute
Tumblr media
Why the … before friends? Why did you hesitate on friends Bruce?
I love their little nicknames for eachother.
I love the sheer trust that Clark shows for Bruce giving him a weapon to hurt him

Superman AU
Where Buck is a Daily Planet reporter and a Superman specialist (He hates the superhero!). Tommy is Superman and Buck's work colleague (also the hottest person on Earth!).
Buck was late to work, thanks to Superman. When he decided to buy a better apartment in Pasadena after his promotion one year prior, it was supposed to be a forty-minute drive to Daily Planet on a bad traffic day in Los Angeles (every day). But, because life in that city was never predictable, someone had decided to rob a bank and screw Buck's life. And of course, America's sweetheart would appear and make everything worse. It was not like Buck was ungrateful for everything the super guy had done for the city and the world. The problem was that every time something happened in Los Angeles because of Superman, it impacted Buck somehow. It was like he and the superhero were connected, and he hated it! Years in college, studying and working his ass off started to be defined in one word. He became a globally known journalist because it seemed like Superman liked to talk to him, but no one spared a couple minutes to read when he had something significant to talk about. So, yes, he hated Superman. And, yes, he was running to the bank because he needed to scream at someone. That day was supposed to be Superman-free, a meeting to greenlight his first documentary and more money in his pocket, But the beefy man could not let the bad men win for just one day! With his cellphone opened in the recorded app, he made his way through the wave of people running in his direction. Closer to his destination, he could hear screaming and shots. Please, let one of them shoot his head!, Buck thought. If just one bullet worked, he was free forever. But the son of a bitch would never let him have it. Out of breath, he arrived at the same time as the police. Buck ignored the officers and entered the building when people ran off it. The place was trashed and a lot of masked men and security personnel were on the floor. "You know, I had this perfect plan in my mind for today and you ruined it," Buck's voice was steady, but his anger was easy to notice if someone had a super hearing. "It was my day, I was going to receive approval for my documentary, you bastard!" "You know, Buckley, I have a lot of powers. Mind reading is not one of them." And there he was, Superman. The strongest, the fastest. Unfortunately, the second hottest person on Earth. Buck wanted him gone at the same level he needed to explore that god-like body. "You don't need to read my mind to know I'm cursing you!"
Let me know what you guys think!

Still from the Superman (1948) serial, autographed by Jimmy Olsen actor Tommy Bond. Bond was more famous, or perhaps infamous, as the bully Butch in The Little Rascals short films.

Justice League/Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (2017) by Power Rangers NOW
Lord Zedd plants a trap in the form of a fake “Alpha 5″ to infiltrate the Command Center which allows him and his putties access. Zack arrives first to defend and attempts to teleport them out but the teleportation relay have been damaged by the fake “Alpha 5″ causing Zack and Zedd to be teleported elsewhere far away to a different universe where the Justice League lives.
Tumblr media
The remaining Power Rangers later managed to track and tried to bring him home but realised that they’re all stranded in the new universe, where they get off the wrong foot with the Justice League, thinking it’s a schemed devised by Lord Zedd. Meanwhile, Lord Zedd was Brainiac who finds the revelation of another universe intriguing and decides to join forces to obtain Earth.
Tumblr media
It’s an interesting crossover I never thought I would see, seeing my favourite childhood superheroes meeting each other. I really hope they would adapt it into an animated movie as DC Comics Animated Universe is just amazing and I can imagine them doing this story arc. I like seeing how the different characters interact with each other, just like what I imagined them to be.
Tumblr media
Like minded individuals like Billy and Cyborg getting along due to their understanding of technology, and Tommy and Batman getting on each other’s nerves because they’re both strong headed and does not trust others easily. Seeing Superman being the “Father-Figure” to the Power Rangers, giving them advice and encouragement is wholesome.
Tumblr media
My favourite of them all is seeing Flash getting along with the Power Rangers, probably because of his youthful spirit and easy going attitude.
Tumblr media
My only complain is that the six issues feel short as it could be longer. I was hoping to see more interactions between the characters which was not shown because the were all rushing to save the world and hardly have the time to get to know each other. It would be cool to see Supergirl interacting with Kimberly, Wonder Woman with Trini, Superman with Jason, and the likes.
