bitch literally not that long ago an aroace youtuber animator was insulted by almost half of its community for being it

So he got them during a—let's say—crossroads of destiny *wink wink*#Those are his shame tattoos. He's terribly embarrassed by them so the Gaang tease him about them. (He's secretly very proud of them tho)#It's all about the duality inherent to fire (and himself!) as well as protection.#The red dragon has his back at all times. It protects Zuko from his past—from everything that he has left behind and is walking away from.#The Blue dragon guards him front unknown threats. It curls over his left arm (his most vulnerable side) and rests its head over Zuko's heart #It's all very symbolic #Zuko loves his tattoos but is also embarrassed and ashamed of how he got them. He was in a very bad place at the time.#If he got the chance to get his tattoos done *now*—he probably wouldn't do it.#He wouldn't change a thing tho. They're part of who he is. #poorly drawn mdzs #mdzs #bonus comic #tulu xuanwu #lan sizhui #Thank you Stackedbirds for the inspiration behind this comic!#The original plan was that they would kill the turtle - only for it to be revealed there was little baby turtles she was protecting #and those turtles left the cave to then be chilling in a river by yi-city 20 years later.#This version has less turtle death and is way more straightforward.#But yes; A-Qing's turtle was always supposed to be linked to the tulu xuanwu. I enjoy call-backs and set-ups immensely.#What other creatures does LSZ have in his sleeve pockets? What other endangered beasts have been accidently translocated?#Will the turtle ever make an appearance again? So many questions. Which I will now answer:#1) At least one rabbit and a few songbirds have made a permanent home in there.#2) I like to think all the cultivators leaving baoshan sanren's mountain are accidently translocated endangered creatures.#3) Yes. The tulu xuanwu will be pivotal presence in the climax of the story. Dare I say - the hero of the darkest hour.

“The mad tyrant has ordered yet another attack on the druid community. A shame I say, most of my recipes come from them, and if he kills them all, how will the potion makers survive?!”

“He burned my aunt you know — she had no magic! She never studied, she knew no spells or anything, but she was a midwife. A woman with knowledge of herbs and how to best practice medicine — that was treason enough”

Arthur returning home safely after Gaius was able to identify the poison the attackers used

“May I ask where you found this information?”

“In one of my books, my lord. Here, I belive you read from this when Merlin drank from the poisoned chalice.”

He flips through the pages haphazardly before releasing

“But this is a book of magical poisons and plants!”

“Well yes sire…how else would I be able to recognise the symptoms?”

Arthur thinks back to the woman who was arrested last week for having a book on magical plants. She was deemed a witch and a traitor with clear intentions of killing the royal family, and was subsequently burned alive

“So the information is useful in your hands, but traitorous in anyone else’s?”

“It’s just a book Arthur. What one chooses to do after reading it, is entirely up to oneself”
