#i decided to finally dip my toes back in the water and pulled up ao3. opened up what I thought would be a #nice pre-canon shiro & keith fic. only to find out partway through that shiro and keith start dating in the sequel.#this is not to drag up old shipping drama i normally just filter this ship out but in this fic it’s like #keith is twelve years old and shiro is the one trustworthy adult in his life and it’s cute. and then i hit ‘next work’ and they were DATING #like we all agree that’s weird right 😭😭😭😭😭#the worst part is that the fic is good. a little hamfisted but earnest in its portrayal of early childhood trauma.#so why would you make them start dating????! I’ve been pacing my apartment for the last thirty minutes

truly I think that Knock Out only joined Team Prime at the end of TFP because the writers knew the fans would riot if he died and truly that makes me love him even more

of course roman goes to logan—all he wants is for logan to love him, to acknowledge him, to be proud of him. so here’s logan showing up at the karaoke bar, saying all the right words, repeating what roman’s been saying about matsson, and apologizing for what happened in italy in so many words (“i have some regrets”). he gets all embarrassed and awkward when kendall voices the fact that logan hit roman as a kid—roman doesn’t see that as a mark against logan, he sees it as a fault in his own character. he thinks he deserved to be hit (“i was an annoying kid”). and here’s logan finally saying “i need you”...like it’s the least unsurprising thing in the world to me that roman shows up at that house.

but is it enough to win him over? logan asks for him to go see matsson with him...but he does so by asking roman to skip out on connor’s wedding. and for all roman’s faults, he loves his family. he’s the one who wants to be there for his siblings. he wanted to go to connor’s rehearsal dinner, he suffered through karaoke for connor, and i can’t imagine him skipping out on connor’s wedding.

woke up at 6:30a to beat the crowds at target (did not really work lol) and proceeded to be on errand duty for the next several hours. not loving it friends but tbh at least i wasn't doing it in heavy snow and the crowds were not as bad as they could have been, so i think my decision to switch my last chunk of shopping from saturday to monday was all in all a good one.

#liveblogging life #do any of you care? nope.#but my god i got more done before 10a today than i have in like. six months lol.#also i spent so much money :(((((((#between my own groceries baking supplies the last of my christmas shopping and more food for tomorrow.... yikes lol #the good news is i got paid early. the bad news is i wont get paid again until after the first so i'll be dipping into savings for rent #whoops! that's the holidays for you #the GOOD news is i didnt do payment plans for anything this year so at least i dont have to worry about that??????#the last couple of years i always had something on a pay in 4 so i ended still paying out past the holidays #which like was fine when i didnt want heavy upfront costs but did get annoying tbhm #kind of nice to just be. done paying for shit.#getting up early of my own volition feels like torturing myself unnecessarily tbh #also shhhhh i was technically working for part of this morning but half my office is out on pto so.#like my phone was on and my email was open on there just in case anything came through. it was fine.
