i understand the specificity of this comparison but bear with me.

the opening note of "all gone (affliction)" from the last of us soundtrack reminds me incredibly of lovejoy's version of "knee deep at ATP" and every time "all gone" comes on, i wonder how lovejoy got on this CD and it scares me every time.

Tlou part 2 had its ups and downs for sure, but the music was still so so good. I regularly listen to soundtracks from both games; Gustavo Santaolalla did an amazing job composing them.

it's been a week and i have not stopped thinking about how in the game, "the choice" theme plays when joel decides to take ellie to salt lake, but in the show it plays when ellie decides to stay with joel in the winter. it's the way they always choose each other. it's the way they're gonna put the other above themselves, no matter the circumstance, because they're each other's world.
