My current headcannon for BOTW is that link doesn’t need fo sleep

After the shrine of resurrection “healed him” (from death) when he came back he didnt need to sleep anymore. Obviously he can and sometimes can sleep to recover from injuries, but there is no punishment or debuff if you never sleep or rest.

On the angst side you could say he came back as something not quite the same. By purpose or mistake crafted to be the tireless hero the kingdom needed.

But i like the idea that the try hard/adhd link is just “nah i slept plenty” and just decided not to sleep anymore.

the tanfang scene everyone was waiting for was great (im mostly judging based on linen moving sounds and the three moments I could actually see them) but I was very glad to see the most of happy smiling excited fang that we've encountered so far AND him admitting to his shortcomings; we also see more of their dynamic - fang focuses on studies, tan focuses on paying attention to him. fang can cook one dish only but it's enough because tan knows how to make a mundane dinner fun and distract his bf from his workload. when tan forgets his bag, he's the one to go back and retrieve it. when fang forgets his bag, tan again is the one to take care of it. you see tan as this infinite provider but fang reciprocates his love and care, it's just that in this stage of their lives tan is the one who can show up more. once they graduate (at least fang is) there should be a switch up and they'll find their balance. for now you can see the love through fang's open honesty, his attempts at using loving nicknames, cooking for both of them despite being busy and it not being his forte. and yes, in the bedroom too, both seem to find plenty of energy for that part of their day
