------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The morning light filtered through the blinds, casting a soft glow over the room. Paige stirred first, blinking against the brightness as she felt the familiar warmth of Azzi curled against her. Their legs were tangled beneath the blankets, Azzi’s head tucked against Paige’s shoulder, her slow, steady breathing the only sound filling the quiet space.
For a moment, Paige didn’t move. She just let herself be—savoring the peacefulness, the way Azzi fit so perfectly against her. It was one of those rare mornings where everything felt right, like the past few weeks hadn’t been filled with so much uncertainty.
Azzi shifted slightly, a quiet hum escaping her lips as she blinked up at Paige sleepily. “Morning,” she mumbled, voice laced with sleep.
Paige smiled, brushing a few strands of hair away from Azzi’s face. “Morning.”
Azzi let out a small yawn, her hand absentmindedly resting against Paige’s stomach as she got comfortable again. Then, as if remembering something, she lifted her head slightly. “What time’s your flight tomorrow?”
Paige exhaled, her fingers trailing lightly over Azzi’s back. “Uh… I think around noon. Gotta be at the airport a little before that.”
Azzi frowned slightly, her brows drawing together. “That’s so soon.”
Paige sighed, knowing Azzi wasn’t happy about it. “I know. I wish I could stay longer, but Geno wanted me back in time for practice.” She gave Azzi a small squeeze. “I’m just glad he and CD even let me come here instead of flying back with the team.”
Azzi huffed, burying her face into Paige’s neck for a moment before mumbling, “Still too short.”
Paige chuckled, pressing a kiss to the top of Azzi’s head. “I’ll take what I can get.”
Azzi pulled back just enough to look at Paige. “Me too,” she admitted, her fingers tracing absent patterns on Paige’s arm. “Guess we better make the most of today, huh?”
Paige smiled. “Yeah. Let’s make it count.”
—--------------
They decided to take a walk to the nearby café for breakfast, the cool morning air a welcome contrast to the warmth of the room they had just left. The streets were still quiet, the soft hum of early risers beginning to fill the air as they strolled side by side, their fingers naturally intertwining. The simple act of holding hands felt like a quiet promise—a comfort they both needed after the whirlwind of emotions they’d been through.
Paige glanced over at Azzi, a soft smile tugging at her lips. Azzi caught her gaze, offering a grin of her own as they continued walking down the path, their steps in sync.
“Think they have good coffee here?” Azzi asked, breaking the comfortable silence.
Paige laughed softly. “I’m betting they have great coffee.”
Azzi rolled her eyes playfully, squeezing Paige’s hand. “That’s a lot of pressure, P.”
Paige winked at her. “I’m sure you’ll survive.”
The café came into view ahead, a cozy little place with plants hanging from the windows and the faint scent of freshly brewed coffee wafting through the air. They reached the door, and as they stepped inside, the warmth of the café wrapped around them like a hug.
The host led them to a booth by the window, sunlight filtering in and casting a golden hue over everything. They slid into the booth, still holding hands as they sat down. Paige was the first to let go, reaching for the menu as Azzi leaned back against the booth, glancing around casually.
“What’re you thinking?” Paige asked as she skimmed through the menu.
Azzi looked at her for a moment before answering, her voice light. “Maybe some avocado toast? Just something simple.”
Paige raised an eyebrow. “Avocado toast? You’ve changed.”
Azzi grinned, nudging Paige playfully. “Hey, it’s good. Plus, they probably have the best toast in the area, so I’m taking advantage.”
Paige laughed softly and nodded. “Alright, alright. I’ll get the same. Can’t go wrong with toast.”
Their waitress came over a few moments later, taking their orders with a bright smile before disappearing into the back. Azzi looked at Paige again, a mischievous glint in her eye.
Without saying anything, she leaned over the table, brushing her lips against Paige’s in a quick, gentle peck. Paige smiled against her lips, her thumb tracing lightly over Azzi’s hand.
Azzi pulled back just enough to meet Paige’s gaze, her eyes sparkling. “What?” she asked, a teasing lilt in her voice.
Paige chuckled, leaning in to kiss her again. This time, it was a little longer, their lips moving together, slow and easy. They didn’t pull away completely, lingering there for a few moments, pressing little pecks against each other’s lips, smiling between them. The simplicity of it all was grounding—the softness, the connection, the way everything just felt right in that moment.
When they finally pulled away, their foreheads rested gently against each other, and Azzi grinned. “You’re never getting rid of me, you know that?”
Paige laughed, her hand sliding back to rest on Azzi’s. “Good. I don’t plan on it.”
The waitress returned with their orders, placing the avocado toast in front of them, but neither of them was in a rush to eat just yet. Instead, they lingered in the space between, taking in the quiet, the smiles, and the soft rhythm of their breaths, enjoying the feeling of just being together, in the moment, with no rush to move forward.
—--------------
The conversation flowed easily, but underneath the surface, there was an unspoken weight Azzi couldn’t quite shake. As much as she appreciated Paige’s efforts to come here, to make things right, a nagging feeling lingered in her chest. She wasn’t blind to the fact that it had been Paige who took all the steps to fix what had been broken between them. Paige had messaged first after everything happened, flown out to be with her, and even asked if they were still together.
Azzi couldn’t help but feel a little guilty. She had waited—waited for Paige to make all the moves, even though Azzi knew, deep down, that she should have been the one to step up sooner. That responsibility was on her too, but she’d let it slip by. She hadn’t been the one to check in emotionally on Paige, especially after everything that had happened with Lexi, and it bothered her.
She wanted to be the one who took the initiative next time, to show Paige that she wasn’t just waiting for things to fall into place, but actively working to make sure Paige was okay. Because Paige deserved that—she deserved someone who would care for her the same way she had for Azzi, someone who would prioritize her emotional well-being, not just let her do all the heavy lifting.
As they continued to eat, Azzi’s thoughts drifted back to the night Paige had arrived. She remembered how the sight of Paige walking through the airport had sent a strange relief flooding over her, but it was also when Azzi had realized just how much she had been holding back.
She caught herself staring at Paige for a moment, the quiet hum of the café providing a background to the way Paige looked at her—relaxed, calm, content, but there was still something in her eyes, something guarded that Azzi hadn’t been able to reach yet.
Taking a deep breath, Azzi set her toast down and looked at Paige seriously, her heart beating a little faster. “I need to say something.”
Paige looked up at her, a small crease appearing on her forehead. “What’s up?”
Azzi swallowed, feeling the weight of what she was about to say. “I’ve been thinking… I’m really thankful that you came here, that you did all of this. It wasn’t easy, and I’m just… I don’t want you to feel like you’re the only one trying, you know?”
Paige furrowed her brow. “Azzi, what are you talking about? You’ve been trying, too.”
Azzi shook her head, her voice quiet but firm. “No. I haven’t. Not in the way you have. You messaged me first, you flew out here, and you asked if we were still together. You’ve been the one making sure everything was okay. I should have been the one checking in on you, especially after… everything with Lexi.”
Paige’s expression softened, but she didn’t interrupt. Azzi took a deep breath, continuing, “I’ve been kind of a passive participant in all of this, and I don’t want to keep doing that. I want to make sure you’re okay, too, and I want to be there for you in the same way you’ve been there for me.”
Paige reached across the table, taking Azzi’s hand in hers. “You’re here, Azzi. And that’s all I need. I’m okay, I promise. I’m just… still getting over everything.”
Azzi squeezed her hand, her thumb brushing lightly over Paige’s knuckles. “I know, but I need to do better for you. I need to make sure you feel heard, and I need to take the lead in some things too. You’re not the only one who has to fix everything.”
Paige smiled softly, her eyes warm. “I’m not worried about it. We’re doing this together, right?”
Azzi nodded, her chest feeling lighter. “Yeah. Together.”
There was a long pause, and Paige squeezed her hand again. “And I’m glad you’re doing this, Azzi. I want us to be stronger because of it. I’m here for you, always.”
Azzi smiled, the uncertainty still there but fading little by little. She leaned over and pressed a kiss to Paige’s cheek, her lips lingering for a second longer than usual. “I’m here for you, too.”
The quiet moment settled between them, but this time, it was different. There was no tension, no confusion. Just understanding. And that was enough for now.
—--------------
After they finished their breakfast, Azzi couldn’t help but feel a little more at ease. The conversation had cleared the air in a way, and though there was still work to be done, she knew they were heading in the right direction.
“Want to take a walk?” Azzi asked as they stood up, pushing her chair in and grabbing her jacket. “The weather’s nice, and it’s just a short walk to a park nearby.”
Paige smiled at her, a look of warmth and appreciation in her eyes. “Sounds perfect,” she replied, letting Azzi take the lead.
They left the café together, stepping out into the crisp morning air. Azzi linked her fingers with Paige’s, not shy about initiating the closeness this time. The soft touch of their hands intertwined was comforting, a small, intimate gesture that grounded them both.
As they walked side by side, Azzi looked over at Paige, feeling a strange mixture of emotions. There was gratitude, yes, but also a need to prove that she could be the one to take charge when it counted.
She squeezed Paige’s hand gently. “So, I’ve been thinking,” Azzi started, her voice steady but with a touch of uncertainty, “you know, we talked a lot about everything that happened with Lexi, but I don’t think I really asked you how you’re feeling, like emotionally. After everything you went through, I want to make sure you’re okay. I mean, I can’t imagine what that must have been like.”
Paige looked at her in surprise, her brows knitting slightly. “I mean, I’m alright. I’ve had some time to process it. You know I’ve got my own way of handling things.”
Azzi nodded thoughtfully, stepping off the curb as they neared the entrance to the park. “I know you do, but I want to make sure you’re not just brushing it off, you know? It’s important. I’ve seen how tough you are, but you don’t have to do everything alone. I want to be there for you, too. It’s not just about me anymore.”
Paige’s heart skipped a beat, the sincerity in Azzi’s words hitting her in a way she wasn’t expecting. “You’re right,” she said quietly, squeezing Azzi’s hand. “I’ve been trying to handle it on my own, but… I guess I could use someone to talk to about it.”
Azzi’s eyes softened, and she stopped walking, turning to face Paige fully. “I’m here, Paige. You’re not alone in this. Ever. I know I should have been the one to ask you how you’re feeling sooner, but I’m asking now. Really, how are you feeling? About everything.”
Paige hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to open up fully. She had never been good at expressing vulnerability, especially not about something so raw. But something in Azzi’s gaze—the way she was looking at her, not with pity but with genuine care—made her feel safe.
“I’m still working through it,” Paige finally admitted, her voice quiet. “I mean, I’ve never been in a situation like that. It fucked me up, and it’s still hard to process, especially with the way everything happened. But… I’m getting there. And I’m glad I have you here to help me through it.”
Azzi reached up and gently cupped Paige’s cheek, her touch tender but firm, grounding Paige in the moment. “You don’t have to carry all of that weight by yourself anymore. I’m not going anywhere. I’m not just here to fix things; I’m here to be with you through everything. I want to make sure you’re okay, truly okay.”
Paige leaned into her touch, her eyes fluttering closed for a brief second. When she opened them again, her gaze met Azzi’s, and her lips curved into a small smile. “Thank you. I really mean that.”
Azzi grinned back, feeling a warmth spread in her chest. “You’ve been there for me, now I get to be there for you.”
They resumed walking, the park now spread out before them, the paths winding through rows of trees and manicured grass. The sun had fully risen, casting a gentle glow over the world around them. They took their time strolling along, the conversation ebbing and flowing naturally.
Azzi took a deep breath, letting the air fill her lungs. “I’m glad you came here, Paige. I know it wasn’t easy for you, but… I’m so glad we’re doing this. I mean, I don’t want to jinx anything, but I think we’re finally on the right track.”
Paige looked over at Azzi, a look of fondness crossing her face. “Me too. I’m really happy we’re doing this too.”
Azzi’s smile widened, and she squeezed Paige’s hand again, feeling more certain in that moment than she had in a long time. They didn’t have everything figured out, but they were in it together, and that was enough.
As they continued to walk, Azzi found herself leading the way a bit more, guiding them down the winding paths of the park, her confidence growing with every step. She was taking the lead now—not just physically, but emotionally as well. Paige deserved that. She deserved someone who would actively show up for her.
And as they walked hand in hand, the world seemed a little bit lighter, a little bit more hopeful. Together, they were going to figure this out, one step at a time.
As they walked through the park, Paige’s mind began to wander, and a new idea crept in. The thought had been lingering in the back of her mind for a while now, but she hadn’t brought it up to Azzi yet. Now, with the peaceful walk and the conversation flowing so easily, it felt like the right time.
“So,” Paige started casually, glancing over at Azzi, her tone light but with an underlying eagerness. “I’ve been thinking… you and Caroline, you both in the transfer portal. I know things with your team aren’t exactly… great. And I get that it’s a tough decision, but I just wanted to say—have you considered coming to UConn?”
Azzi slowed her pace, her brows furrowing slightly as she turned to look at Paige, trying to gauge the sincerity in her words. She didn’t want to show too much of her hand just yet, but Paige was looking at her with such hope that it made her chest tighten a little.
Paige continued, almost as if she couldn’t stop herself now that the words were out. “I mean, Geno’s been telling me to try and convince you. He really wants you there, Azzi, you and Caroline. And, you know, if you came—well, we’d be together. Like, on the same team. We’ve never played together before, but imagine that. We’d be unstoppable, right?”
Azzi stayed quiet for a moment, letting the idea sit in her mind. Paige was right; they had never been on the same team before, but the thought of playing with her—of being on the same court, really sharing the experience—sounded like something they could both excel in. And UConn’s program? One of the best in the country. It wasn’t just about playing with Paige, though that was certainly an exciting prospect—it was also about the opportunity to play for such a legendary team.
“I’ve been thinking about it,” Azzi said slowly, her voice giving nothing away. “Caroline and I have talked about it a lot, actually.”
Paige’s eyes lit up, but she tried not to push, not wanting to make Azzi feel pressured. “I get it. It’s a huge decision, and you’ve got to do what’s best for you. But I just think about how good the program is, the competition, everything we could accomplish together. Plus, I’ll be there. We’ll be together.”
Azzi glanced down at their intertwined hands as they walked, her thoughts swirling. She could feel the pull to UConn—it was a chance to grow as a player, and even more importantly, it was a chance to be closer to Paige. But there was still a part of her that hesitated. She wasn’t ready to fully lay all her cards on the table, especially not when it came to something so personal.
“Yeah,” Azzi said, a soft smile tugging at her lips. “I mean, I’ve been leaning that way for a while now. But it’s not just about that, you know? It’s about finding the right place for me. For both of us, really.”
Paige’s heart skipped a beat at Azzi’s words. She was leaning towards it. That was more than she had expected, and it gave her hope. She squeezed Azzi’s hand tighter, wanting to convey her support.
“Whatever you decide, Azzi, I’ll support you. No matter what. I just want you to be happy. But yeah, I really hope you’ll come to UConn. We’d make such a good team.” Paige smiled, a little nervous but mostly excited. “And hey, we’ll finally get to play together. I’ve always wanted that.”
Azzi smiled back, the warmth in her chest growing as she looked at Paige, knowing how much this meant to her. “I’ll keep thinking about it,” Azzi said quietly, her voice soft but carrying an undeniable sincerity. “And I appreciate you, you know? For giving me the space to figure it out.”
They continued walking, the sounds of the park around them calming the air. Paige felt content, knowing she had put her feelings out there and had shown Azzi how much she cared—not just about their relationship, but about her future, too.
“I know this is a big decision,” Paige added after a beat, her eyes scanning the trees as they strolled. “But whatever happens, I’ll always be here for you. You’re not in this alone.”
Azzi’s heart swelled at Paige’s words, and she leaned into her slightly, her shoulder brushing against Paige’s. “I know. And that’s more than I could ever ask for.”
As they continued to walk through the park, their pace slowing as the conversation turned to other things, the uncertainty about the future lingered, but there was a new sense of confidence in Azzi’s heart. No matter what happened with UConn, she knew one thing for sure: she wanted to figure it out with Paige. And whether they played together or not, they’d be a team. That much was already certain.
—--------------
When they got back to Azzi’s dorm, the atmosphere had shifted into a comfortable, familiar rhythm. Paige had made up her mind to pack her things in advance, knowing she had to leave the next day to head back to UConn. She headed to Azzi’s room, gathering her bags and making sure she hadn’t forgotten anything. Meanwhile, Azzi and Caroline stayed in the common area, lounging on the couch, talking quietly.
As Azzi sat down next to Caroline, a small sigh escaped her lips. She leaned back into the couch, feeling the weight of their conversation earlier still hanging in her mind. “So,” Azzi began, glancing over at Caroline, “Paige had a talk with me today about the transfer portal. She’s been trying to convince me to come to UConn. And… I think she really wants us both there.” Her voice had a mix of thoughtfulness and uncertainty as she spoke, but the more she said it, the more it made sense.
Caroline raised an eyebrow, curiosity piqued. “Really? She said that?”
Azzi nodded, rubbing her hands together absentmindedly. “Yeah, and Geno and CD have been telling her to try and get us both to come. She said that she wants us to be on the same team, you know, with her.” There was a softness in Azzi’s voice as she continued. “She said she wanted to play together, and so did Geno and CD. She really believes we’d be a great fit there.”
Caroline was quiet for a moment, her thoughts clearly racing. “I’ve been thinking about it, Azzi,” Caroline finally said, her eyes meeting Azzi’s. “I mean, UConn would be amazing for both of us. It’s such a great program, and we’d have a real shot to show what we can do. Plus… we’d be together. It would be nice to not be apart, you know?”
Azzi’s heart skipped a beat at Caroline’s words. There was something comforting in hearing that—something that made the decision feel less like a leap and more like a natural step. “I was thinking the same thing,” Azzi admitted, the realization settling in. “And… I think we’re both leaning in the same direction, right?”
Caroline smiled a little, her expression softening. “Yeah. I think we are.” She leaned back into the couch, her arms stretched out behind her. “I think we should go to UConn, Azzi. It feels like the right choice.”
Azzi met Caroline’s gaze, her lips curling into a small, thoughtful smile. “I think so too.”
For a few seconds, there was silence between them, both of them processing the weight of the decision. Azzi then looked down, her hands resting on her knees. “But…” Her voice faltered slightly. “I don’t want to tell Paige just yet. I don’t know… It feels like we should figure it out for ourselves first. Not just because she’s been pushing for it, you know?”
Caroline nodded in understanding, a knowing look crossing her face. “Yeah, I get it. You don’t want it to feel like it’s because of her. We’ll make sure it’s the right decision for us.”
Azzi smiled gratefully at Caroline, feeling a sense of relief wash over her. “Thanks. I just want to be sure, you know? I don’t want to rush into it.”
Caroline gave her a playful nudge. “It’s not like we’re in a rush. Let’s figure it out and then tell Paige when we’re ready. She’ll be happy either way, I’m sure.”
Azzi nodded, still processing everything. It felt good, talking this out with Caroline—knowing they were on the same page. But a part of Azzi still wanted to take her time before sharing the decision with Paige. She didn’t want it to feel like it was just following along with Paige’s desires. It was about what was right for both of them, not just for one person.
Meanwhile, Paige was back in Azzi’s room, busily packing her bags. As she zipped up her suitcase, her mind wandered back to everything she had shared with Azzi earlier. She couldn’t help but feel hopeful, imagining the future they could have, together at UConn. But even though she was excited, she also didn’t want to put any pressure on Azzi to make a decision before she was ready.
Paige shook her head, finishing up the last of her packing. She stepped out into the common area, where Caroline and Azzi were sitting, both looking up as she entered.
Azzi smiled softly at her. “All packed?”
Paige nodded, giving her a small grin. “Yeah. It’s always a bit of a pain, but I’ll survive.”
Caroline gave Azzi a knowing look before standing up. “Well, I think I’m gonna head out for a bit. You two probably need some time to talk about the next steps, right?”
Paige chuckled, but before she could respond, Azzi quickly added, “Yeah, we’re just going to chat for a little bit. We’ll catch up later.”
Caroline grinned. “Sure thing.” And with that, she slipped out, leaving Azzi and Paige alone in the quiet dorm room.
Azzi turned to Paige, her expression thoughtful. “You know… I’ve been thinking about everything you said today. About UConn and the transfer portal. I think it could be a really good opportunity for both me and Caroline.”
Paige’s eyes brightened at Azzi’s words, though she kept her tone casual. “I’m glad to hear that. I just want you to be happy with whatever decision you make, Azzi.”
Azzi met her gaze, her smile soft. “I know. And I appreciate that. I think I’m ready to make the decision soon.”
Paige smiled back, her heart racing a little, not knowing just how close they were to both making that leap—together.
—--------------
Azzi had been planning the arcade date for the entire morning ever since breakfast, wanting to surprise Paige with something fun and lighthearted before the end of her visit. As they walked hand-in-hand to the arcade in the early afternoon, the sun was high and warm, and a gentle breeze followed them. Paige was practically bouncing with excitement when Azzi told her the plan.
“An arcade date?” Paige grinned, her eyes sparkling. “This is gonna be so much fun.”
Azzi chuckled at Paige’s infectious energy. “I thought you’d like it. We can get competitive, you know, and I’ll beat your ass at everything.”
Paige raised an eyebrow, a playful smirk forming. “In your dreams, Fudd. I’m definitely winning this one.”
The two of them strolled inside, the arcade filled with the sound of flashing lights, clinking coins, and the familiar electronic music of machines. Azzi immediately led Paige to a row of games, and soon enough, they were caught in a whirlwind of competition, teasing each other between rounds.
They started off with air hockey, their faces intense with focus as they smacked the puck back and forth. Paige managed to win the first round, but Azzi was quick to challenge her again, and this time, she came out on top.
“Ha!” Azzi laughed, sticking out her tongue. “I told you I’d win!”
Paige groaned in mock defeat, but she was grinning. “That was such a fluke. But I’ll get you next time.”
They moved to the next game, skee-ball, and Paige was already sizing up the machines with a determined look. The two went back and forth, trying to see who could get the highest score. Azzi tried to focus, but Paige kept giving her teasing side glances, distracting her.
“Wow, I didn’t know we were playing for real,” Azzi said, acting surprised.
Paige raised her hands in mock surrender. “I’m just too good. You know that.”
Then they headed over to the racing games. Paige was particularly competitive with this one, and she immediately hopped into the seat. Azzi grinned and slid into the seat next to her, revving the virtual engines as they both raced on the screen, each one determined to beat the other.
“Ready to lose?” Paige asked, hands firmly gripping the steering wheel.
Azzi leaned over and whispered with a sly grin, “You wish.”
As the game began, the race was neck and neck, but Paige somehow managed to edge ahead in the final lap, her fingers flexing over the buttons in excitement as the virtual car zoomed past the finish line.
“I win!” Paige exclaimed, raising both hands in the air as the screen flashed.
Azzi laughed and shook her head. “Fine, you won that one. But I’m getting you next time.”
They both took a few steps away from the racing game, their competitive energy still buzzing in the air. But then something caught Azzi’s eye in the corner of the arcade—a vintage photo booth. The faded pink and blue lights surrounding it made it look nostalgic and inviting. Azzi’s face lit up as she tugged Paige toward it.
“Let’s take some pictures!” Azzi suggested, her voice playful.
Paige raised an eyebrow and smirked. “You mean… you want me to get into that tiny booth with you?”
Azzi laughed and gave Paige a wink. “Come on, it’ll be fun! We can make silly faces.”
Paige hesitated for a second but then grinned. “Fine. But I’m not making any stupid faces.”
They squeezed inside the photo booth together, and Azzi quickly slid the curtain shut, leaving just enough room for both of them to fit. Paige was already trying to adjust her hair, making sure she looked good for the photos. Azzi leaned back against the corner, her eyes twinkling. “Okay, first one—smile!” she said, leaning into Paige with a playful glint in her eyes.
The camera clicked, and they both smiled wide, their eyes meeting as they giggled. The first photo came out, and both of them took a moment to adjust their hair and faces.
“Alright, let’s try something silly for the next one,” Azzi suggested, her hand resting lightly on Paige’s arm.
Paige nodded with a grin. “Ok ok, I can do that. Watch this.”
They pulled exaggerated faces for the second photo—Azzi sticking her tongue out and Paige crossing her eyes and sticking her tongue out as well—just before the camera flashed again, capturing their silliness. The second picture came out, and both of them burst into laughter, the silliness only making them feel closer.
The third shot was more relaxed. Azzi turned slightly toward Paige, her smile softening as their shoulders brushed. Paige rested her hand on Azzi’s thigh as they posed for the photo, the warmth between them growing with each passing second. Their laughter died down into a contented silence as the camera flashed once more, capturing the ease between them.
When the fourth picture began to print, the playful atmosphere shifted slightly. Azzi leaned in close to Paige, her lips parting as if she were thinking about something, but before she could speak, she met Paige’s gaze. There was an unspoken connection in that moment, a quiet tension that felt electric.
“Okay,” Azzi said softly, “let’s make this last one a bit different.”
Paige raised an eyebrow, sensing the change in the air. “Different how?”
Azzi didn’t answer with words—she simply leaned in closer, her lips brushing Paige’s ear. “Let’s kiss for this one,” Azzi whispered, her voice low, teasing yet full of affection.
Paige’s heart raced in her chest, and without thinking, she closed the distance between them. She leaned in to kiss Azzi softly, their lips meeting gently at first, then deepening as their chemistry sparked. In that moment, it felt like time slowed down, their connection more palpable than ever. Paige’s hand, still resting on Azzi’s thigh, gave a subtle squeeze, and she felt Azzi respond, shifting ever so slightly to press herself closer. The last click of the camera echoed in the small booth, capturing that intimate moment between them.
They didn’t pull away immediately. Instead, they stayed there, lips still pressed together in a slow, tender kiss that said more than words ever could. The photo booth printed out the final picture, and when they finally broke apart, they both took a deep breath, their faces flushed with the warmth of the kiss.
Azzi smiled at Paige, her hand reaching for the prints. “I think this one’s going on my wall.”
Paige laughed softly, a light, affectionate tone in her voice. “I think you might be right. I’m keeping mine, though. It’s too cute.”
They each took a copy for themselves of the strip of pictures, sliding it into their pockets for safekeeping.
After they left the photo booth, the playful mood between Azzi and Paige hadn’t worn off in the slightest. They wandered through the arcade for a bit longer, trying out a few more games and chatting between rounds. But eventually, Azzi’s eyes brightened when she spotted the sign for Laser Tag.
“Laser tag?” Azzi asked with a grin, raising an eyebrow. “What do you think, should we do it?”
Paige’s eyes lit up. “I’m so in for that! Are we going to be on the same team, or are you going to try to beat me at that too?”
Azzi smirked. “Oh, we’re definitely not going to be on the same team. I want to see how good you are under pressure.”
Paige scoffed, looking playfully offended. “Oh, it’s on now. Prepare to lose, princess.”
Azzi chuckled, nudging Paige in the ribs. “We’ll see about that.”
They made their way over to the laser tag area, where a group of other players was already waiting for their turn. Azzi and Paige signed up, each selecting their color-coded teams. Paige was assigned to the red team, and Azzi to the blue.
Azzi glanced over at Paige with a smirk as they suited up in the vests and strapped on their laser guns. The arena was dimly lit, with neon lights and fog machines creating an atmosphere that felt like they were about to step into another world. The air was electric with excitement, and the other players buzzed with anticipation, too.
“Don’t get too cocky, Bueckers,” Azzi teased, her voice playful yet serious. “I’m going to outmaneuver you.”
Paige raised her eyebrows as she adjusted the vest. “Bring it on. Just remember, you started this.”
The game started, and they both split into their respective teams. The arena’s lights flickered, and the countdown echoed through the room as the buzzer rang.
“Go!” someone yelled, and in an instant, the two teams scattered.
Paige didn’t waste any time. She dashed into the maze of ramps and pillars, scanning the area for opponents. The beams of light from the laser guns shot across the dimly lit arena, creating a chaotic but exciting battlefield. Her heart pounded, adrenaline rushing through her veins. She moved with purpose, keeping her eyes open for the first person to get in her sights.
Meanwhile, Azzi was just as focused. She ducked behind a structure and carefully checked her surroundings before making her move. Azzi’s competitive streak had come alive, and she wasn’t about to let Paige have the upper hand. She spotted someone from the other team and quickly aimed, her laser gun firing with precision. The target lit up, and she grinned in satisfaction.
Paige was on the move again, keeping her eyes on her own team’s progress as she searched for Azzi. She knew she couldn’t underestimate her—Azzi was good. Very good. She quickly darted into a new hiding spot, pressing her back to one of the pillars.
Then, from across the arena, Paige saw her. Azzi, seemingly out of nowhere, had appeared near the top of one of the ramps, aiming at a member of Paige’s team. Paige’s eyes narrowed, and she adjusted her grip on her laser gun. She had to be fast.
Without thinking, Paige sprinted toward Azzi’s position, ducking behind obstacles and leaping over ramps as she closed the gap. She took a deep breath, steadying herself. The moment she peeked her head out to line up the shot, Azzi saw her.
“Not fast enough!” Azzi yelled, smirking as she fired her gun, hitting one of Paige’s teammates.
But Paige was quick to retaliate. In a blink, she aimed and fired directly at Azzi, and she saw the confirmation light blink on Azzi’s vest.
“Yes!” Paige grinned, sticking her tongue out. “Gotcha.”
Azzi playfully pouted, then flashed Paige a teasing smile. “Okay, okay. You’re good.”
The game continued, both teams getting a few more shots in, each side trading victories and near-misses. Paige and Azzi were clearly having a blast, but there was still an unspoken tension between them, the desire to outdo each other making the experience all the more thrilling.
When the game finally ended, the announcer’s voice boomed through the speakers, letting everyone know the results. Paige’s team had won by a narrow margin, but only because Azzi had spent a little too much time enjoying the competition with Paige.
Azzi shot Paige a look of mock annoyance as they met up at the exit. “Okay, fine. You won. But only because I was distracted by you.”
Paige smirked and shrugged, a playful gleam in her eye. “Distracted by me, huh? I guess I’m just that distracting.”
Azzi crossed her arms and pretended to glare, though her eyes softened with affection. “Whatever. Just wait ‘til next time.”
Paige laughed and nudged her. “Next time, you’re going down, Fudd.”
The two of them laughed as they walked back toward the exit, their hands finding each other naturally. Even with the teasing, the competition, and the game, it was clear that they were enjoying each other’s company—more than ever.
“We need to do this again,” Paige said, still grinning.
Azzi nodded enthusiastically. “Absolutely. But next time, we’ll be on the same team. No more winning at my expense.”
Paige raised an eyebrow playfully. “We’ll see about that.”
As they made their way out of the arena, the air still electric from the game, Paige couldn’t help but feel a warmth spread through her chest. It was moments like this—simple, fun, yet undeniably special—that made her grateful for the time they had together.
—--------------
The air outside had started to cool as the sun dipped below the horizon, leaving a gentle twilight settling over the city. Paige and Azzi, still feeling the lingering energy from their afternoon together, stood on the sidewalk, looking at each other with that familiar spark in their eyes. The tension between them hadn’t completely faded—it was still there, hanging in the air, but it was different now. It was playful, teasing, and a little flirtatious.
“So, what do you think? Should we keep this night going?” Azzi asked, her voice light but laced with a hint of mischief.
Paige raised an eyebrow, a smirk tugging at her lips. “What did you have in mind?”
Azzi grinned. “Karaoke.”
Paige chuckled, her eyes lighting up with excitement. “Oh, you want to embarrass me in front of a crowd, huh?”
Azzi shrugged, feigning innocence. “Nah. I just want you to have fun, babe. It’s all about enjoying the moment.”
Paige couldn’t help but laugh. “I should’ve known you’d be the one to suggest karaoke.”
“Come on,” Azzi said, pulling her by the hand toward the bar just a block away. “It’ll be fun. And I’m way better at singing than you.”
Paige rolled her eyes, but she was smiling. “I’ll believe that when I hear it.”
They entered the bar, which had a cozy, yet buzzing vibe. The lighting was low, and the sound of laughter and chatter filled the air. A hostess greeted them at the door and led them to a private karaoke room at the back. The room was plush, with soft leather seating along the walls and a screen in the center where the lyrics would appear. A microphone sat on a stand in the middle of the room, and a small table in the corner was already stocked with drinks and snacks.
Azzi flopped down onto one of the seats, kicking off her shoes. “I’m telling you now, Paige, I’m going to crush you in this. Prepare to be impressed.”
Paige rolled her eyes but plopped down next to her. “We’ll see about that. I bet you can’t even hit the high notes.”
Azzi grinned, teasing her with a playful look. “I’m just setting the stage, Bueckers. Let’s start with something easy. You do like SZA, right?”
“Of course,” Paige replied, grabbing a drink and taking a sip. “But you do realize, I’ve got a mean voice, right?”
Azzi raised an eyebrow and picked up the karaoke remote. “You’re about to find out.”
She quickly selected a song—“Good Days” by SZA—and the intro began to play. Both of them exchanged looks before bursting into laughter.
“Oh god,” Paige said between giggles, “this is going to be hilarious.”
They began singing, but for the most part, neither of them took it too seriously. They belted out the lyrics, off-key more than once, while cracking up every time they hit a wrong note. Azzi’s voice was smooth and confident, but Paige’s enthusiasm more than made up for it. They harmonized when they could, but mostly they were just laughing, goofing off, and having fun.
At one point, Azzi was in the middle of a line, and Paige couldn’t help but burst out laughing. “Wait, hold on! I wasn’t even ready for that note!” Paige’s laugh was infectious, and soon, they were both holding their stomachs as they tried to get through the chorus.
“You’re terrible!” Azzi said, wiping tears from her eyes. “I thought you said you could sing!”
“I never said I could sing well!” Paige retorted, still chuckling.
Halfway through the song, they’d both abandoned trying to sing properly, instead focusing on cracking each other up. The karaoke machine flashed “Singing with Heart!” as a message to remind them of their lack of effort, but neither of them cared.
When the song finally ended, they collapsed into their seats, catching their breath from all the laughing. “Okay,” Paige gasped, “that was actually fun. And maybe you’re a little better than I thought.”
Azzi grinned, pleased with herself. “I told you.”
Right as the laughter started to subside, a server brought in their order—pizza, chips, and a few more drinks. “We’re going to need some fuel for the next round,” the waiter said with a smile before leaving the room.
Paige immediately reached for a slice of pizza and handed one to Azzi. “You know what this night needs? A banger.”
Azzi raised an eyebrow, taking a bite of her pizza. “What’s your idea of a banger?”
Paige smirked. “How about some I Don’t Fuck With You by Big Sean?”
Azzi nearly choked on her pizza. “No way! You want us to sing that?”
Paige shrugged, a mischievous gleam in her eye. “It’s perfect. You’re already getting the hang of this, and besides, we’re having fun.”
Azzi thought for a second, then grinned. “Okay. Let’s do it.”
Paige selected the song, and the beat kicked in with the iconic intro. Azzi’s eyes lit up. “This is going to be great.”
They both got into it, rapping the verses and shouting the chorus with all the energy they could muster. Neither of them could keep a straight face, especially as they got louder and more dramatic with every line. They didn’t take themselves seriously at all, but the playful energy between them made it even more fun.
When they hit the part  “I don’t fuck with you,” they both leaned toward each other, laughing so hard they couldn’t catch their breath. It was obvious neither of them knew every word perfectly, but they made it work with their laughter and exaggerated moves, practically throwing themselves into the performance.
Every now and then, Azzi would bump her shoulder into Paige’s, and Paige would wink at her. Every time they shared a look or a laugh, the chemistry between them was undeniable. They didn’t even realize how close they were, how their bodies naturally gravitated toward each other, the touch of their hands becoming more frequent. By the time the song was almost done, Paige was leaning into Azzi, her arm wrapped loosely around Azzi’s waist as they rapped the last few lines together.
Paige’s thumb brushed across Azzi’s side, making her shiver slightly, and for a second, the fun vibe shifted. They shared a look, the air between them suddenly heavy with something more than just laughter. It was that undeniable, quiet tension—something they’d been dancing around for a while during the day today. Paige’s hand settled more firmly on Azzi’s side, squeezing gently, and Azzi’s breath hitched.
Without a word, Paige leaned in slowly, and before either of them knew it, their lips met again, this time with more intention. It was soft at first, but then Azzi pressed in closer, one hand resting on Paige’s shoulder while the other found its way to Paige’s neck, pulling her in deeper. Paige’s hand slid down Azzi’s side, fingers grazing her hip, their kiss growing more heated and intimate by the second.
They broke away for a moment, both of them slightly breathless, but neither of them moved far apart. Their foreheads rested against each other, both of them smiling, yet something unspoken lingered between them.
“Looks like we might’ve just started a new tradition,” Azzi whispered, her lips barely brushing Paige’s.
Paige smirked, teasing. “Only if you promise to let me win next time.”
Azzi chuckled, shaking her head. “I’ll think about it. But for now…” She kissed Paige’s forehead. “I think we’ve earned another round.”
And with that, they dove back into their playful, intimate moment, lost in the music, the laughter, and each other’s company.
—--------------
As the night continued, the atmosphere between Paige and Azzi grew even more intimate. The playful teasing from the karaoke room began to shift into something deeper. Their laughter died down, and in its place, an undeniable connection between them was more palpable than ever.
Azzi’s hand found Paige’s again as they sat side by side, the energy between them quiet but intense. Every touch, every glance, seemed to carry more weight now, both of them aware of the sparks they were playing with. Paige, still feeling the warmth of Azzi’s touch, leaned closer to her, her voice softening.
“Thank you for today,” Paige said, her words sincere as she gently squeezed Azzi’s hand. “This has been so much fun, seriously. I needed this. I needed you.”
Azzi smiled, her eyes softening as she gazed back at Paige. “I’m happy to see you happy, Bueckers,” she replied, her voice low but filled with affection. “You deserve it, after everything. I’m glad you came here.”
Paige couldn’t help but smile back, her heart swelling at the sound of Azzi’s words. She tilted her head slightly, letting her gaze linger on Azzi for a moment before she leaned in, brushing her lips against Azzi’s in a quick but sweet kiss.
The moment was perfect—filled with warmth, tenderness, and the undeniable connection they shared. But as time wore on, reality slowly began to sink in. They checked the time and saw that it was getting late. Paige had to leave soon, her flight back to Storrs looming in the morning. The thought of leaving was bittersweet.
Azzi gently pulled away from Paige, her hand still resting on Paige’s, and stood up. “We should probably head back to my dorm,” Azzi said with a soft sigh, her voice tinged with a bit of reluctance. “I don’t want this night to end, but I know it’s getting late.”
Paige nodded, her smile soft. “Yeah, I know. But it’s been a perfect day.” She rose to her feet, following Azzi as they left the karaoke room, the energy still lingering between them like a comfortable warmth.
They walked back to Azzi’s dorm, hand in hand, the night air cool against their skin as they moved through the streets, neither of them wanting to let go of the closeness they’d found. It felt like time had slowed down, giving them just a little more time to savor the moments they had left before Paige would have to leave.
Once they arrived at Azzi’s dorm, they slipped into the common area, where Caroline was lounging on the couch. She looked up at the sound of their footsteps, her face lighting up with a smile when she saw them together.
“How was your guy's day today?” Caroline asked, her tone warm and teasing, clearly knowing something had shifted between them.
Azzi and Paige shared a knowing look, both of them grinning. Azzi pulled the photo strip out of her pocket, her fingers brushing over the small pictures they had taken together earlier. “It was amazing,” Azzi said softly, handing the photo strip to Caroline. “We took these. Look.”
Caroline took the strip, her eyes flickering over the pictures as she smiled. “Aww, you two are so cute,” she said, her voice light with joy. She looked up at them, her expression genuinely happy. “I’m really glad you both figured things out. You two deserve to be happy.”
Azzi and Paige exchanged a quiet, contented smile, both feeling the weight of Caroline’s words. They hadn’t fully realized how much they’d needed to hear that until now. Azzi squeezed Paige’s hand gently, her eyes flickering with affection.
“Thanks, Caroline,” Paige said, her voice soft but sincere. “I’m glad I came here… for her.”
Caroline beamed, clearly happy for them. “Well, I’m glad you did, too.”
With a soft chuckle, Azzi led Paige down the hallway to her room. “Come on,” she said, her voice playful but full of warmth. “Let’s get some rest. I’m pretty sure we’ll need it.”
Once they reached Azzi’s room, the door shut behind them softly, the sound of the lock clicking into place. Paige turned to Azzi, her smile soft, her heart full. She glanced at the photo strip again, tracing the edges of the pictures with her fingers.
“It feels real now,” Paige whispered, her voice barely audible. “Like, really real.”
Azzi nodded, her gaze steady on Paige. “It does,” she replied quietly. “And I’m happy it is.”
The two of them stood there for a moment, the weight of their connection settling between them. It had been a long journey to get here, full of ups and downs, but now—here, in this moment—it felt like everything had fallen into place.
“I’m gonna miss you tomorrow,” Paige said after a beat, her voice soft but laced with sincerity.
Azzi smiled, her eyes softening with affection. “I’m gonna miss you too.”
They lingered there for a few more moments, the tension in the air now replaced with something much more tender. Paige reached out, gently cupping Azzi’s cheek before pulling her in for a soft kiss, feeling the warmth of Azzi’s lips against hers. The kiss was slow and sweet, a gentle affirmation of everything they had between them.
—--------------
As the night stretched on, Azzi, exhausted from the day’s adventures, slowly settled into the bed, her head resting on the pillow. Paige, watching her, smiled softly, her heart swelling with affection as she saw Azzi’s peaceful expression. Azzi’s breathing began to slow, and within moments, she was fast asleep, the gentle rise and fall of her chest signaling her deep slumber.
Paige took a deep breath, glancing over at Azzi one last time before pulling her phone out of her pocket. She unlocked it and opened the group chat with Geno and CD, her fingers hovering over the screen for a moment before she started typing.
Paige: Hey, so I’ve been convincing Azzi and Caroline about UConn. I think it’s working. They seem to be leaning toward it.
She sent the message, her eyes briefly scanning over the words, her thoughts briefly drifting to the possibility of everything working out the way she hoped. Her thumb hovered over the screen again, typing out another message.
Paige: They’re still undecided, but I can tell Azzi’s starting to warm up to the idea. We might just be able to pull this off.
A few seconds later, Geno’s reply pinged back, followed quickly by CD’s.
Geno: Good. We’ve got a good program, and I think they’d be a great fit. Just keep doing what you’re doing.
CD: Yeah, keep at it. Glad to hear it’s working. See you soon at practice.
Paige smiled at their responses. She’d been nervous, unsure if her efforts would be enough, but now that she had some reassurance, she felt more confident. She put her phone down on the nightstand, her heart at ease.
Turning back to Azzi, Paige pulled the blanket up just a little higher, ensuring she was comfortable before lying down beside her. The soft sound of Azzi’s steady breathing was soothing, and Paige couldn’t help but smile as she closed her eyes. It had been a long journey, but it felt like things were finally falling into place.
She whispered softly to herself, “This is just the beginning.” And with that, she let sleep take over, her hand finding Azzi’s beneath the covers as they drifted into a peaceful slumber together.
—--------------
The next morning, the sunlight filtered through the blinds of Azzi’s room, gently waking the trio. Paige stretched as she yawned, glancing at the clock. Her flight wasn’t until later in the afternoon, but it felt like time was slipping away too quickly. She didn’t want to leave just yet, but at the same time, she knew she’d be back soon. The thought of going back to Storrs felt distant, almost surreal, after the whirlwind days spent with Azzi.
Azzi and Caroline were already up, chatting quietly as Paige stood in front of the mirror, brushing her hair. The sound of laughter from the living room filtered in, and Paige smiled, knowing that no matter what happened next, this trip had been worth it.
“Hey, breakfast?” Azzi called from the kitchen, a mischievous grin on her face. “You can’t leave without one last good meal.”
Caroline nodded, walking past Paige to grab her jacket. “Yeah, let’s go. We’ll make it count.”
The three of them headed to a nearby café that Paige and Azzi had gone to yesterday, a cozy spot with warm sunlight pouring in through the windows. They settled into a booth near the front, the smell of freshly baked bread and sizzling food making Paige’s stomach rumble. They ordered savory items—toast with avocado, scrambled eggs, and a side of fruit.
As they ate, Caroline, ever the photographer, pulled out her phone. She leaned back slightly in her seat, waiting for the perfect moment.
“Alright, you two, smile!” Caroline said, her camera poised. “You both look adorable together. Just one for the memories.”
Azzi and Paige shared a glance, their smiles easy and natural, just like the connection between them. Paige leaned in slightly, their shoulders brushing, and Azzi tilting her heads towards Paige as they both grinned at the camera. Caroline snapped the shot quickly, satisfied with the candid moment.
She looked down at her phone, scrolling through the picture. “This looks perfect. Mind if I post it?” she asked, showing them the image.
Paige and Azzi shared another glance before nodding in agreement.
“Go for it,” Paige said with a shrug, though her eyes softened as she smiled at Azzi.
Caroline quickly typed a simple caption: “Breakfast with my faves🥰.” She posted it, keeping things lowkey—nothing too obvious, just a casual shot between friends.
“Alright, let’s go,” Caroline said, tucking her phone away after the post was live. “We’ve got a flight to catch… eventually.”
The three of them drove to the airport, the air crisp and cool as they drove through the parking lot. The drive had been lighthearted, filled with music and jokes, but now that they were here, Paige couldn’t help but feel the weight of leaving. She wasn’t leaving because she wanted to—it was just a part of the plan. She had her responsibilities back at UConn, but a piece of her wanted to stay longer, savor the quiet moments with Azzi.
When they reached the airport, they said their goodbyes at the entrance, but Azzi and Caroline insisted on staying with Paige until her flight was ready to board.
“We’re not saying goodbye yet,” Azzi said with a soft smile, her fingers grazing Paige’s.
Caroline nodded in agreement. “We’ve still got time. No rush.”
They lingered in the airport, walking through the terminals, talking, and enjoying the last little moments they had together before Paige’s departure. It felt like they had all the time in the world, but Paige knew it was slipping away. The departure was inevitable, but so was the promise that this wasn’t the end.
—--------------
As the time ticked by, they finally reached the gate, and Paige checked in for her flight. There was still a little time before boarding, and she knew Azzi and Caroline would be with her until the very last moment.
The hum of the airport was steady, but the quiet between the three of them was filled with unspoken words. It was one of those moments where they all knew what was coming but didn’t want to acknowledge it just yet. The announcement for Paige’s flight echoed through the speakers, snapping the silence into focus.
“Attention, passengers on Flight 1264 to Hartford, we are now boarding. Please make your way to the gate.”
Paige took a deep breath and glanced down at Azzi, who was standing beside her, her eyes filled with something softer than sadness. There was a quiet strength in the way Azzi looked at her, the kind of look that made Paige feel like everything had fallen into place, despite the uncertainty of their situation.
“Guess this is it,” Paige said, her voice light but carrying a weight. She turned to Caroline, giving her a quick but sincere hug. “Take care of her, alright?”
Caroline smirked as she hugged Paige back tightly. “You know I will, but you better not forget about me when you’re back at UConn. I’ll be watching.”
Paige chuckled, ruffling Caroline’s hair. “Don’t worry, you’re impossible to forget.”
As Caroline stepped back, she pulled out her phone, her eyes twinkling with something mischievous. “You two,” she said, her voice quieter now, “are perfect.”
Paige turned toward Azzi, who was standing close by, her gaze full of quiet affection. There was a pause, a heartbeat where neither of them wanted to let go of the moment they were in. Then, without a word, they embraced, and Paige pressed a soft kiss to Azzi’s lips.
“Bye Baby,” Paige whispered against Azzi’s lips, her voice laced with affection and a little sadness. “I love you.”
Azzi smiled softly, her fingers brushing the side of Paige’s face. “I love you, too.”
The words felt like a promise, like a bond that had only grown stronger in the time they had spent together. Paige pulled back just enough to look at Azzi’s face, memorizing the look in her eyes, as if trying to hold onto that very moment.
Caroline, ever the observer, was quick to snap a picture of the two of them, capturing the warmth in the hug, the quiet kiss, and the gentle affection that surrounded them. She knew this moment was for them, something for just the two of them to keep.
As Paige pulled back from Azzi and turned toward the gate, she shot one last smile at both of them. “Remember what I said about you two at UConn. No funny business, alright?” she teased with a wink.
Azzi’s laugh rang out, full of fondness. “We’ll see,” she said playfully, but there was no doubt in her voice—only the quiet understanding that they had something real.
With one final wave, Paige turned toward the boarding tunnel, her heart heavy but light all at once. As she walked away, the image of Azzi and Caroline remained in her mind—two people who had become so much more than just friends. The connection between Paige and Azzi had only grown stronger, even with the distance between them.
In that moment, Paige knew that no matter what the future held, what they shared would always remain. It was a bond forged in something deeper than time or distance. As the plane’s engines roared to life, taking her further away, she carried that strength with her, knowing Azzi was just a heartbeat away, no matter where they were.

tutor!spencer reid x gn!reader
MY FIRST REQUEST!! i am MORE than happy to write this, im so so so glad you like tutor!spencer, that’s my baby. hopefully this meets your standards </3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
spencer had been looking forward to this moment all week. you had invited him over to your place—not to study, but to simply hang out.
of course it wasn’t the first time he had been over, he had sat at your dining table so many times to the point he could practically draw each groove and scratch from memory.
but this was much different. it wasn’t studying, it was a genuine friendly hangout. from the moment you asked him he was over the moon, spending nearly an hour curating a good outfit to wear, adjusting his hair so it fell just right, and making sure to keep extra mints in his bag just incase.
fiddling with his bags straps he knocked on your door—three times like always, a pause between the first and second one. he rocked back and forth on his heels for a moment, before catching a glimpse of your silhouette through the window, a smile creeping onto his lips.
a few moments later the door was opening, his face lighting up at the sight of you in-front of him, raising a hand to give you a small wave. “hey, sorry if i’m a little late.”
“it’s okay, you’re right on time. come in.” you stepped aside for him, allowing him to carefully step inside. as always he bent down to untie his shoes, placing them next to yours on the small shoe rack before following you into the living room.
he hesitated for a second before carefully walking over towards the couch, fingers flexing around his bag strap before he awkwardly sat down a few feet away from you on the couch.
“you alright? you seem way more tense than usual.” your voice caught him off guard, looking over at you and smiled a little, following with a nod and a thumbs up. “i’m good—just not used to sitting anywhere besides the table.” he gestured into the dining room, before carefully setting his bag down at his feet.
to say it was awkward was an understatement. spencer felt like he had no clue what he was doing. when you moved closer after putting on a movie, when you made yourselves sandwiches, when you had offered to head to your room and play with your console—he felt so embarrassed.
he stared down at his hands as you explained the game you were teaching him, his gaze occasionally flicking up to meet yours, smiling and nodding before taking the second controller you had handed him.
your fingers had brushed against his, it was such a cliche, but he didn’t care. he was loving every second of this. every second of being close to you.
“did you get all that? any parts i need to go over again?” you asked as you messed with the controls a bit, waiting for his confirmation. “yeah, i got it all. i always do.”
in reality he was barely paying attention to the game, mostly copying what you were doing, apologizing everytime he screwed up—even though you swore it was okay since its just a game.
eventually you guys abandoned the game, resorting to go through some of your music instead, shuffling through cd’s and introducing him to new music.
spencer was listening to every word, a faint blush on his face as he stared at you. he loved listening to you, and with you constantly telling him things for the past however long he had been over, he felt like he was in heaven.
you had started picking up that he was starting to lose focus on what you were actually saying and instead was focused on you. you couldn’t help but find it cute, smiling more as you turned to him and handed him your favorite album.
“you okay with this one?” you asked, moving a bit closer to him, waiting for his respond. of course he nodded, looking up at you, the second his gaze met yours he felt like his heart was gonna explode.
there was a comforting silence between you two, your hand finding his and giving a gentle squeeze, watching the way his ears started to turn bright red.
“you’re blushing.” you teased him, letting out a laugh as he started to crumble. he let out a small shaky chuckle, looking down for a second before turning back to you, mentally battling himself about what to do next.
a few seconds passed before he hesitantly moved closer, placing a small peck on your lips before quickly pulling back and looked away. “sorry—i just really wanted to do that.” he blurted out, pressing his lips into a thin line, his hand tightening around yours.
you felt your face heating up from his action, your own gaze falling to the floor, before a smile took over your expression. “i don’t mind. i liked it.” you responded, glancing at him out of the corner of your eye. “i like you.”
your words caused the butterflies in spencer’s stomach to go insane, a smile matching yours painting his lips as he glanced at you as well. “i like you too. a lot.”
“you wanna listen to that album now or are we gonna sit here for the rest of the day?” you held up the cd again, earning a nod from him. you got up and put it in your player, before returning to sit next to spencer, much closer until your knees touched. your head found its place on his shoulder, hand in his again, and smiles stuck on both of your faces.

Eh, it doesn't feel all that great right now. I'm tired and hungry a lot, but I just have to get a routine together. My sleep has been wonky, I've been waking up too early, but I feel fine then but it also feels like I can't rest completely- I have dreamless nights mostly. And I also just get annoyed a lot, but it feels better being around people I like.
#my father is upset today too cause I couldn't hang out with him#I talked to a social worker at school a few days ago just for check in and in my opinion I still feel bad even talking to her#it's been a rough week and I'm not sure what to do except deal with it and move on#I like to draw still#I dont want to get tired of it#I mean at least I'm doing productive things like laundry and showering#I'm gonna have spaghetti today that's a good thing#I'll have clean sheets for my bed that's good too#I got presents a day earlier and that's good#I like listing the positives#It kinda gives me ideas for writing#I really wanna eat all these positive things i mean the feeling it gives me in itself#I really love the good things I don't ever want to lose them#I'm actually gonna try to make a doll bunny today#I got dug up old fabrics in my room so I can experiment with something new#I'd list more good things but I'd sound kinda weird doing that in the tags#I should probably journal again but my mind blanks when I try but I'll figure it out#I mean poetry and fanfiction is always an outlet#I gotta practice that more often#There still a ways to go in life so obviously it'll change eventually it always does#And it's only one of many weeks so I can't be too doubtful#It can't always be the worst#Feeling the same feels awful#No matter the emotion it kinda turns numb if you feel it long enough#Days are always changing though since everybody is doing different things everyday all the time#Like most say 'it gets better' eventually#I guess I can wait for a good day#I have no choice sooo I'll let whatever happen#Well technically I can make it happen#I'll feel better when I made myself dinner and cleaned my bed and put away my laundry and put on fuzzy socks and go to sleep

part one
“so how was your first day?” robin asks steve as he slides onto the barstool next to her and chrissy.
“it actually wasn’t that bad,” steve shrugs before taking a long pull from the freshly opened bottle the bartender slides his way.
“it wasn’t that bad?” chrissy asks, incredulous. “so he didn’t make you go to the erewhon all the way across town? the one he goes to because selena gomez was seen there once?”
“that’s why he made me go there?”
“yeah, he really likes that one movie she’s in.”
steve thinks for a moment. “the dead don’t die?”
“no, the one with the dancing,” chrissy snorts.
steve makes a face and then shrugs again. “i made him his breakfast, i drove him around, i organized his tshirt closet… pretty standard stuff for an assistant.”
“you organized his tshirt closet? what the fuck does that even mean?” robin asks, laughing.
“exactly what it sounds like,” steve grins at her. “anyway, really, it wasn’t that bad. sure, he’s insufferable but not anything i couldn’t handle. don’t worry about it.”
“well, thanks for doing this,” chrissy says. “vickie handled it for a while, but i guess once you’ve been fired twelve times in the course of six months, you have to draw a boundary with the thirteenth.”
“it’s really not a big deal, it’s not like i’m doing it for free,” steve responds. “the money is more than worth it.”
“still, i know how he can be. but he’s really not so bad. once he’s… comfortable.” chrissy frowns.
“whatever,” steve shrugs for a third time. “i’m just here for the cash.” he winks and gives her a reassuring smile.
~*~
the next morning, steve pulls up to eddie’s huge beverly hills mansion bright and early, just as he had yesterday. he punches in the gate code, waves to the security guy on duty, and makes his way inside to the kitchen.
eddie storms in while steve is halfway through cooking another omelette, this time with tomatoes and onions and freshly grated cheddar cheese.
“i don’t care, wheeler, i’m not making a fucking appearance and i’m definitely not doing it with him,” eddie snarls into the phone pressed to his face. he hasn’t seemed to notice that steve’s in his house again.
eddie waits for whoever it is on the phone to speak before he says, “well maybe i don’t want to fix it. maybe this is it,” and then hangs up the phone. he lets out a frustrated little scream before he turns to leave the kitchen, finally noticing steve by the stove. “you’re back,” he says, voice monotone.
“i’m back,” steve smiles, sliding the plate full of food across the large island toward him. eddie looks down at it like he’s surprised. “eat,” steve tells him.
“another sweater vest?” eddie sneers instead of picking up his fork.
“i like them,” steve shrugs, still smiling.
eddie rolls his eyes. “whatever,” he mutters and then picks up the plate and retreats from the kitchen.
~*~
eddie is deeply annoyed by how good steve’s omelettes are. he practically licks the plate clean when he’s finished, which only serves to make his bad mood worse.
“can i take your plate?” steve asks from the doorway of the living room.
“jesus christ, man, wear a fucking bell,” eddie grumbles before holding out the plate, forcing steve to walk across the room to the couch and take it from him.
“i’ll remember to announce myself from now on,” steve replies. “chrissy just called; you have another meeting with the pr team this afternoon. we’ll leave here in about an hour.”
eddie doesn’t respond and steve goes quietly back to the kitchen.
~*~
eddie tries to confuse steve with the directions to nancy’s office again, mostly just to annoy him since the car has a built in gps. steve ignores eddie, leaving him to play on his phone in the back seat. the windows are tinted dark, just how eddie likes it & it lulls him into a false sense of security to where he’s almost relaxed by the time they get to nancy’s office.
the meeting is a fucking drag. it’s just a rehashing of the morning’s phone call and eddie had already made himself perfectly clear. he’s not willing to fix anything. nancy and chrissy try to double-team him, begging him to think about the tour & the album roll-out & the rest of the band. the entertainment blogs are running wild with the rumors circulating about the other night and now they’re digging up shit that he wishes would stay buried.
“absolutely fucking not,” eddie spits out. “i refuse to be fucking cordial with that moron.”
“fine,” nancy says finally. “i guess we’re done here then.” she gets up from the head of the conference room table and leaves through the big glass doors and the rest of her team takes that as their cue to leave, too.
chrissy levels him with a look, waiting until the last intern has left the room before speaking.
“eddie, i know you’re pissed right now. trust me, i would be too,” she says, using that tone eddie always hates—the one that makes it sound like she’s trying to placate a rabid dog. “but the label has invested a lot of money into you and they need you to put in some work right now. take a minute, take a breath, and then we’ll talk again. but we need to respond; we can figure out what that looks like. i’ll talk to nance… maybe we don’t need a joint appearance. maybe you can just make a statement.”
eddie knows there are a ton of people relying on this tour & this upcoming album. he knows the band doesn’t deserve the hit from this. but what is there to even say? he’s just so fucking angry about it.
“fine. i’ll make an appearance. but i won’t, under any circumstances, be seen with him,” eddie tells her firmly. he slides his sunglasses back onto his face before pushing himself out of his chair and making his way over to the door. “just tell me when and where. and make sure nancy doesn’t make me sound like a fucking idiot.”
“great,” chrissy smiles so bright she looks like a teenager again. “i’ll talk to nancy. we’ll figure it out.”
any reassurance eddie feels is washed away by a renewed sense of annoyance when he sees steve waiting for him in the lobby, still wearing his pastel yellow sweater vest, drinking a purple smoothie from a straw and scrolling on his phone. he’s laughing at something on the screen and the sunlight comes through the huge front windows just right, making him glow golden, and eddie just feels something inside him twist unpleasantly.
steve looks up then to see eddie coming, but eddie breezes past him to the sidewalk. steve jumps up to follow, handing the valet their ticket. when the car finally pulls up, eddie says, “no liquids in the car,” before sliding into the back seat.
he sees steve shrug before smiling at the valet and handing him his half empty smoothie to dispose of and a tip.
the car ride home is silent. eddie practically leaps from the car before it’s even come to a stop when they pull into the driveway. there are packages on the table in the foyer, likely brought in by the security guy at the gate. “grab those,” eddie tells steve with a wave of his hand.
steve follows eddie into the kitchen, arms laden with paper bags and boxes. most of it, eddie knows, is free product and merch, stuff he never uses and mostly stuff he doesn’t even want. steve places the packages on the counter and watches as eddie sifts through them, clearly looking for something.
“do you want lunch?” steve asks. eddie ignores him, finally finding the package he’d ordered earlier today. he flings it across the kitchen island toward steve on the other side.
steve catches the package in his hands and arches an eyebrow.
“open it,” eddie tells him, nodding at paper wrapping. he opens the fridge to pull out a bottle of water and takes a long sip as he watches steve’s fingers tear at the brown paper.
once the package is open, steve huffs out a laugh, barely a breath, before holding up a bright pink cat collar with a tiny bell attached. he shakes it in the air, making the bell tinkle. the collar clearly will not fit him.
“fuck you, man,” steve says, still smiling.
“fuck you, too,” eddie says.
and then he leaves the kitchen.

Just Kiss Her
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
James Potter x BSF!Reader
Summary: You find a few unsent letters with your name on them- literally.
WC: 2.1k
CW: use of {Y/N} - typo and nonsense it's 4am and I can't sleep.
The Gryffindor boys' dormitory was unusually lively for a day when James was absent. You sat cross-legged on James’s bed, surrounded by the mess that only four teenage boys could call normal. The faint scent of James’s shampoo lingered on his pillow behind you, a small comfort as the chatter of the room swirled around you.
Sirius groaned dramatically from his own bed, his leg propped up on a stack of pillows. He had injured it during their last Quidditch practice and was now milking the situation for all it was worth.
“Darling,” Sirius called, drawing out the word as he tilted his head toward you. “I demand attention. Do you know how utterly dull it is, lying here with nothing but Moony’s dull bookishness and Wormtail’s horrible color sense for company?”
“I’m literally right here, Pads,” Remus replied flatly, not looking up from his book.
“And you love me,” Sirius shot back without skipping a beat, grinning lazily.
You rolled your eyes and turned your attention back to Peter, who stood in front of the mirror with a tie hanging awkwardly around his neck. “I think the green one is better,” you offered. “It brings out your eyes.”
Peter frowned, his hands fumbling with the knot. “But is green too Slytheriny?”
“Not unless you start hissing and cursing muggleborns,” you replied with a teasing smile. “Just pair it with a gray jumper. Neutralize it.”
Peter nodded, muttering something about giving it a try before swapping it for a blue tie. Meanwhile, Sirius groaned again, this time louder.
“I’m dying, and none of you care,” he complained, flopping back against his pillows like a tragic figure in a poorly acted play.
“You’re not dying,” you said, leaning back on your hands. “You’ve got a bruised leg.”
“Bruised? Bruised?” Sirius gasped as if you’d mortally wounded him. “That’s how they minimize war injuries, you know. Next you’ll say I’m malingering.”
“Which you are," Remus said, still not looking up from his book.
Sirius turned to you, ignoring Remus entirely. “Come on, love. Entertain me. Read me a story or sing me a song or- oh! Recite poetry! You’re good at that.”
“I’m not reciting poetry for you, Sirius.”
“Why not?” Sirius pouted. “You do it for James.”
“That’s because James actually asks nicely,” you quipped, smirking.
At that, Sirius clutched his chest as if you’d stabbed him, his grin betraying his dramatics. “Et tu, Brute? I thought you loved me.”
“Loved, past tense,” you teased. “You’re officially too high maintenance.”
“You wound me,” Sirius said, throwing an arm over his face. “Moony, tell her she’s being cruel.”
“Not getting involved,” Remus said quickly, still reading but now smiling faintly.
Sirius turned his face toward you again, his pout morphing into a cheeky grin. “Fine, if you won’t entertain me, at least come sit over here so I can lean on you while you’re ignoring me.”
You rolled your eyes but stood anyway, walking over to Sirius’s bed. “You’re unbearable.”
“I prefer entertaining,” he replied smugly as you perched beside him, letting him lean his head on your shoulder.
The room was quiet for a moment, save for the sound of Remus flipping another page in his book and Peter muttering to himself as he fiddled with another tie. Sirius, still leaning on your shoulder, let out a long, exaggerated sigh, clearly waiting for you to indulge him.
“Alright,” you finally relented. “I’ll read something to you. Happy now?”
Sirius grinned triumphantly. “Ecstatic. Now, find something good. None of that boring rubbish you usually bring in here.”
Rolling your eyes, you stood and glanced around the room. “Fine, but I’m not wasting my time reading some textbook or Quidditch manual. Let’s see if James has something decent for once.”
Sirius perked up, watching you make your way over to James’s trunk. “Careful, darling, you’re stepping into dangerous territory. Prongs’s secrets and all that.”
“Oh, he won’t mind,” you said, waving a hand dismissively. “Besides, if he didn’t want me snooping, he’d have locked it.”
Remus glanced up from his book. “I’m not sure that logic holds up, actually.”
You knelt beside the trunk, lifting the lid to find the usual James Potter mess: a tangled heap of robes, a few textbooks with worn edges, and a Gryffindor scarf stuffed haphazardly into the corner. But what caught your eye was a small, battered box tucked near the bottom, half-hidden beneath a crumpled cloak.
“What’s this?” you murmured, pulling it out and turning it over in your hands.
Sirius’s eyes gleamed with interest. “Oh, now that looks promising. Open it.”
Remus let out a quiet sigh. “I wouldn’t- ”
“Of course you would,” Sirius interrupted. “It’s Prongs. What’s his is practically hers anyway.”
Ignoring their back-and-forth, you pried open the lid. Inside was a disorganized stack of parchment, some neatly folded, others crumpled and torn. Some were even singed at the edges, as if they'd narrowly escaped being thrown into the fire. Every single one had your name scrawled across the top in James’s messy handwriting.
Your heart skipped a beat.
“What is it?” Peter asked, peeking over your shoulder.
“Letters,” you said softly. “They’re… they’re addressed to me.”
Sirius’s grin grew impossibly wider. “Oh, now this is good."
Remus closed his book, his brow furrowed. “Are you really going to read those? They’re personal.”
“They’re addressed to me," you replied, a mixture of curiosity and nerves stirring in your chest.
“You’re doing him a favor,” Sirius said breezily. “If he didn’t want you to read them, he’d have gotten rid of them properly.”
You hesitated for a moment before unfolding the first letter. The parchment was slightly wrinkled, and the ink looked rushed, as though James had written it in a moment of unfiltered emotion.
Dear {Y/N},
You probably think I’m an idiot. Honestly, you wouldn’t be wrong. I’ve tried to write this letter five times already, and I keep throwing them in the fire. But this one… I don’t know. Maybe I’ll keep it. Maybe one day I’ll find the courage to actually give it to you.
You laughed today. I can’t even remember what I said to make you laugh, but Merlin, it was the best sound I’ve ever heard. I keep playing it over in my head like an idiot, and it’s driving me mad.
I think I love you. No- scratch that. I *know* I love you. But I can’t tell you. What if you don’t feel the same? What if it ruins everything? Maybe it’s better this way. At least I can still be near you, even if it kills me to pretend.
Your voice caught, and you lowered the letter, your hands trembling slightly.
“Bloody hell,” Sirius said, looking genuinely impressed. “Prongs has it bad.”
Peter nodded mutely, wide-eyed.
“You really shouldn’t be reading those,” Remus muttered, though his tone lacked conviction.
But you couldn’t stop. You reached for another letter, this one more crumpled, as though James had balled it up in frustration before deciding to keep it.
I tried to burn this one too, but I couldn’t. I can’t seem to get rid of the things I write to you, even if they’re pointless. You’ll never read them anyway. But writing them feels like the only way to stop my chest from caving in whenever I see you with someone else. Merlin, I’m pathetic.
I wish I could just tell you. But then what? You’d laugh, or worse, pity me. I couldn’t stand that. So, I’ll keep pretending. Keep being your best friend. Keep loving you quietly.
“Wow,” Peter said softly.
You sat back on your heels, clutching the letters tightly. All this time, James had been carrying these feelings- for you- and he’d never said a word.
“See?” Sirius said, looking smug. “Told you this was worth it.”
Remus shot him a glare. “You’re not helping.”
You looked up, your heart pounding. “Why didn’t he tell me?”
Sirius leaned back against his pillows, crossing his arms behind his head. “Because he’s James bloody Potter. He’d face down a hundred Death Eaters without flinching, but one look at you and he’s a goner.”
The door to the dormitory burst open, and James Potter strolled in, looking thoroughly windswept from Quidditch practice. His broom was slung over his shoulder, and his Gryffindor scarf dangled loosely around his neck.
“Alright, lads, miss me?” he asked cheerfully, dropping his broom beside his bed. He glanced at Peter, who was still fiddling with his tie. “Wormy, mate, what’s that? A tie? You look like you’re about to slither off into the dungeons.”
Peter huffed, pulling at the tie. “It’s green with gray accents. She said it works.”
James’s laugh was loud and carefree, but then his gaze landed on you, sitting on the floor with a stack of letters clutched tightly in your hands. The open box on the floor beside you caught his eye, and his face immediately fell.
“What are you doing?” he asked, his voice suddenly sharp.
You froze for a moment but quickly regained your composure, hugging the letters closer to your chest.
“Reading,” Sirius said from his bed, his tone positively delighted. “Turns out, Prongs, you’re a regular Shakespeare. Real heartfelt stuff.”
James paled as he took a step toward you, his eyes wide with a mix of panic and embarrassment. “Put those down. Now. They’re mine.”
You stood quickly, holding the letters tight to your chest as if they were a treasure. “No, they’re mine. They’ve got my name on them.”
“{Y/N},” James groaned, his face turning a deep shade of red. He lunged for the letters, but you stepped back just in time.
“I don’t think so,” you said, grinning as you unfolded another letter. You held it up dramatically, clearing your throat. “Let’s see what this one says- ”
“Don’t you dare!” James exclaimed, his voice cracking slightly.
“Dear {Y/N},” you read aloud, dodging James as he tried to grab the letters again. “You’re going to kill me one day, and I’ll probably thank you for it. Today, you- ”
James groaned loudly, lunging for you again. “I mean it! Give them back!”
But you were faster, darting around Sirius’s bed and laughing as James scrambled to catch you. “Today, you laughed at my joke in Transfiguration, and I swear I forgot how to breathe- oh, that’s good, James! Real poetic!”
Sirius howled with laughter from his bed, clapping his hands. “Oh, this is gold. Absolute gold.”
Peter, wide-eyed, muttered, “Should we stop them?”
“No,” Sirius said quickly, waving a hand. “This is the most fun I’ve had all day.”
James was completely flustered now, his hair even messier than usual as he chased you around the room. “You’re impossible!” he said, his voice breathless.
“And you’re in love with me,” you teased, waving the letters in the air. Suddenly you paused, as if reality hit you. Your smile grew tenfold as you looked at the letters then to him with wide eyes. “Merlin, you're in love with me!”
That made him freeze for half a second, giving you just enough time to read aloud again. “You’ll never read this, but Merlin, I can’t stop thinking about you- ”
Before you could finish, James lunged and finally managed to catch you, his arms wrapping around you tightly. You squealed in surprise and delight as the two of you toppled backward into the open closet, the letters scattering around you.
James pinned you gently, his face mere inches from yours, his chest rising and falling rapidly. “You’re an absolute menace,” he said, though his tone was more fond than frustrated.
“And you’re a hopeless romantic,” you shot back, grinning up at him.
For a moment, he just stared at you, his hazel eyes filled with something intense and unspoken. Then, before you could say another word, he kissed you- soft and sweet at first, but quickly turning urgent and consuming.
You forgot about the letters entirely as his hands framed your face, his lips moving against yours like he’d been waiting for this moment forever. Your laughter melted into the kiss, your hands clutching the front of his Quidditch jumper as if to anchor yourself.
From outside the closet, Sirius’s voice rang out. “Bloody hell, Prongs, save some for later!”
James pulled back just enough to rest his forehead against yours, his face flushed and his smile wide. “Remind me to hex Sirius later,” he murmured, his breath warm against your lips.
“Deal,” you whispered, leaning up to kiss him again.
Sirius groaned loudly. “Merlin, they’re hopeless. Wormtail, fetch me a bucket; I’m going to be sick.”
Remus sighed, his tone amused. “I think we’ve just lost James for the rest of the day.”

Tumblr media
“What do you boys want to do after this?” you ask, glancing back at Luca and Kai as they focus on their ice creams. The two of them sit on the edge of the bench outside the tennis club, still buzzing with energy after their lesson. The faint scent of sunscreen lingers, and their flushed cheeks tell the story of a morning well spent.
Kai pauses mid-bite, his little tongue darting out to catch a melting drip before it slides down his cone. His brows knit in concentration as he thinks, his chocolate-streaked fingers almost comically poised. Luca, always the quieter of the two, finishes his bite and watches his brother, waiting to see what he’ll suggest.
You reach over and smooth Kai’s tousled hair, the strands damp from sweat and the summer heat. “What about…” you trail off, pulling your phone from your bag to check the time. It’s just past noon, and an idea sparks. “How about we go and see Daddy at his office for lunch?”
Both boys instantly straighten, their eyes lighting up with excitement. “Yes! Yes!” they exclaim in perfect unison, their voices loud enough to draw amused glances from a passing couple. Kai bounces slightly in his seat, and Luca’s smile stretches wide, making your heart melt.
“Alright, finish up your ice creams first, and then I’ll make a quick call to see if he’s free,” you say, chuckling at their eagerness. You bend down to zip up their small tennis bags, tucking away their water bottles and rackets. Their names are embroidered neatly on the sides of their bags, a gift from Rafe when they started lessons last year.
Sliding your phone out again, you scroll to Rafe’s assistant, Rachael, and hit call. It barely rings once before her bright, professional voice answers. “Hi, Mrs. Cameron! How are you?” “Hi, Rachael,” you greet warmly, stepping a little away from the boys, who are now energetically debating whether they should bring Daddy a surprise snack. “Does Rafe have any meetings or calls in the next hour or so? The boys want to see him, and I thought we could bring lunch.”
“Let me check for you,” Rachael replies. You can hear the soft tapping of keys as she looks at his schedule. “You’re in luck—he’s free until 2 p.m. today!” “Perfect,” you reply with a relieved smile, already picturing Rafe’s reaction. “We’ll be there soon. Thanks, Rachael.” “Of course! See you soon,” she says, and you hang up, sliding the phone back into your bag.
Turning back to Luca and Kai, you find them eagerly finishing their ice creams, their little legs swinging excitedly beneath the bench. “Okay, it’s all set. Daddy’s free, so we’re heading to his office. But first, wipe those sticky hands!” you tease, handing them some napkins. They giggle as they clean up, practically bouncing with excitement as they climb into the backseat of the car.
You secure their tennis bags in the boot and slide into the driver’s seat, glancing in the rearview mirror to see their gleaming faces. As you pull out of the car park, their excited chatter fills the car. “Do you think Daddy will let us sit at his desk like last time?” Kai asks. “Maybe we can help him work!” Luca chimes in, his voice hopeful.
You laugh, your heart full as you drive toward Rafe’s office. “Let’s see how much work Daddy gets done with you two around,” you joke, feeling a surge of warmth at the thought of surprising him with his two biggest fans.
~
The second you parked your car in the reserved spot beside Rafe’s sleek black car, Luca and Kai were out of their seats in a flash. “Wait for me!” you called, though you already knew your words would be ignored. You watched with a mix of amusement and exasperation as the two bolted toward the glass sliding doors, their laughter echoing through the underground parking lot.
“No running inside, please!” you called after them, quickly grabbing your bag and locking the car. Your heels clicked rhythmically against the pavement as you hurried to catch up. By the time you reached the doors, Steve, the ever-friendly security guard stationed by the front entrance, was already greeting them. “Well, hello, Luca and Kai!” he said with a broad smile, his weathered face lighting up at the sight of the energetic boys.
“Hi, Steve!” they chorused, their voices loud and cheerful before they darted further into the building. You reached Steve just in time to catch his amused chuckle. “And hello to you, Mrs. Cameron,” he greeted warmly, his tone respectful yet familiar. “Hi, Steve,” you replied with a smile, placing a light hand on his arm. “How’s Margaret doing?” you asked, genuinely curious about his wife.
“She’s doing well, thank you,” Steve replied with a proud nod, the lines around his eyes crinkling with warmth. “That’s wonderful to hear,” you said softly, offering a kind smile before glancing ahead to see Luca and Kai at the front desk, already reaching for the small bowl of lollies. “I’d better catch up with them before they cause too much trouble. See you later, Steve!”
“Have a good visit, Mrs. Cameron,” he called after you with a wave as you made your way inside. The front desk staff greeted you with bright smiles as you approached. “Hello, Mrs. Cameron!” Jake, one of the receptionists, said cheerfully. You chuckled softly, smoothing Luca’s hair as he eagerly unwrapped a lollipop. “I hope these two aren’t bothering you too much,” you joked.
“Not at all,” Jake replied with a grin, glancing down at the boys. “They always bring a little extra energy to the office.”“Well, that they do,” you said, shaking your head fondly as Kai offered Jake a gummy bear from his stash. “Alright, boys, let’s not take all the lollies.” Luca and Kai quickly popped the last of their treats into their mouths and followed you toward the elevator, their small feet pattering against the polished floors.
As the elevator arrived, a group of Rafe’s staff stepped out, their chatter pausing as they noticed you and the boys. “Good afternoon, Mrs. Cameron,” one of them greeted, while another bent down to fist bump Luca and Kai. “Good afternoon,” you replied, nodding politely as the boys giggled, clearly thrilled by the attention.
You guided them into the elevator and pressed the button for the top floor, where Rafe’s office was located. The doors closed, and the boys glanced up at you, their excitement bubbling over. “Do you think Daddy will be surprised?” Luca asked, his voice full of anticipation.
“I think he’ll be very happy to see you,” you assured them, adjusting the strap of your bag as the elevator hummed softly. As the elevator ascended, you couldn’t help but smile to yourself, already picturing the look on Rafe’s face when he saw his two little boys storming into his office like it was theirs.
~
The elevator doors opened with a soft chime, revealing the sleek, modern design of Rafe’s executive floor. The expansive space was quiet, save for the faint hum of activity from his staff in the open office areas. Luca and Kai immediately bolted out of the elevator, their small sneakers squeaking against the polished marble floors as they made a beeline for Rafe’s corner office.
“Boys, wait!” you called, your voice firm but amused as you followed them at a brisk pace, your heels clicking against the floor. You exchanged polite smiles and greetings with passing employees, most of whom glanced at the boys with fond amusement. It wasn’t the first time Luca and Kai had stormed through these halls like a whirlwind.
By the time you reached Rafe’s office, the boys had already pushed the heavy door open just enough to slip inside. You caught up just in time to see them racing toward Rafe’s large mahogany desk. Rafe was seated behind it, his brow furrowed as he reviewed a stack of papers. The sunlight streaming through the floor-to-ceiling windows highlighted the sharp lines of his face, but the moment he heard the familiar sound of his sons’ excited giggles, his head snapped up.
“Daddy!” Luca and Kai shouted in unison, running around the desk to get to him. Rafe’s expression softened instantly, his serious demeanour melting away as he leaned back in his chair. “Well, what’s this?” he asked, his lips curving into a smile. He opened his arms just in time for the boys to climb onto his lap, their chatter filling the room.
“We came to surprise you!” Kai exclaimed, wrapping his small arms around Rafe’s neck. “Did you now?” Rafe replied, his tone warm as he ruffled Kai’s hair. He glanced over the boys’ heads to see you standing in the doorway, a knowing smile on your face as you watched the scene unfold. “And you brought reinforcements, I see.”
You chuckled, stepping further into the room. “They insisted. It was either this or trying to sneak into your meetings.” “Good call,” Rafe said with a smirk, shifting Luca onto his other knee. “You two behaving for Mommy?” Luca nodded earnestly, though the mischievous glint in his eyes made Rafe arch a brow. “Mostly,” you teased, leaning against the edge of his desk.
“Mostly?” Rafe echoed, giving them both a mock stern look that made Kai giggle. “We were good, Daddy!” Kai insisted, throwing his arms out dramatically. “I’ll take your word for it,” Rafe replied, pressing a kiss to the top of Kai’s head before glancing at you. “Thank you for bringing them. This is the best kind of interruption.”
“They wanted to see you,” you said softly, your heart warming at the sight of Rafe with the boys. “And they may have bribed the front desk staff with gummy bears on the way up.” Rafe laughed, his deep, rich tone filling the office. “Sounds about right. So, what’s the plan now, little troublemakers?” “Lunch with you!” Luca declared, leaning against his father’s chest.
“Lunch, huh?” Rafe looked between them, feigning thought. “Well, I think I can make that happen. What do you guys feel like eating?” “Pizza!” Kai shouted, while Luca chimed in with, “Burgers!” Rafe glanced at you, his grin widening. “Guess we’re having both.” You laughed, shaking your head. “Sounds like a plan. I’ll call get Rachael to call the kitchen while you catch up with your boys.”
As you stepped aside to make the call, you couldn’t help but glance back at them—Rafe, with his arms full of Luca and Kai, looking more at ease than you’d seen him in weeks. Moments like these made all the chaos worthwhile.

"Come on Y/L/N -- harder!"
Sweat runs down the back of your neck as you draw back, raising your gloved fists in defense for what felt like the hudredth time that evening. Bodhi stood before you, his left brow raised tauntingly as he motioned for you to move with a curl of his fingers.
"Do it again, but do it harder this time," he instructs, repeating the forward motion with his fingers. You huff in frustration, awareness creeping in of how late it had gotten. The moon was now hanging above the clouds, barely anyone was left in the gym... and you had Bodhi, your trainer, keeping you here late.
You lunged forward, throwing your weight into him. He stumbled, back, but you weren't strong enough to knock him off of his feet. You thrust your clenched fist out, aiming to at least leave him doubled over -- again, you were too slow. He caught your wrist, twisting your arm behind your back and shoving you to the ground. Your hipbone connected roughly with the mat, surely to leave a bruise; but that paled in comparison to your strangled breaths as the wind was completely knocked from your lungs.
"B...Bod...hi.." You writhed beneath him as he pinned you, his form pressed completely atop you to keep you from rising. A pleading cough was all you could get out before his warm breath ticked against the shell of your ear.
"Tapping out?" He rasped, the rough patches on his worn leather gloves rubbing your wrists raw. You nodded frantically, and he sighed, smacking the mat before releasing you. The air was a welcome relief as it flodded your lungs, each breath drawn in greedily as you rolled onto your back against the mat.
Bodhi leaned back on his heels, the slight shake of his head sending a soft ruffle through his dampened curls. He peered down at you with a disappointed look.
"Y/N, you know when you tap out during the real thing-"
"Bodhi, you were practically fuckin' killing me on that last one!" You squeaked, your head resting pathetically against the worn training mat. He tsks at you, cracking his knuckles and continuing to stare.
"You need to know how to hold your own. Especially against guys," he elaborates. You roll your eyes, but he continues. "Guys don't give a shit if you're small, or you're a girl, or you physically can't take them." He gives you a pointed look, and before he can say more, you hear the even more irritating sound of your fellow squadmate approaching.
"Hah, yeah, in fact," Ridoc chuckles, bending at the waist to peer over you. "Some twisted fucks try to get paired with girls on purpose, just because they know it's a different type of fight, and it's one they could win." He looks pitifully at you, the waves in his black hair falling over his forehead. You scoff, pushing onto your elbows and wincing at the pain blooming near your hip.
"You're annoying," you throw a pointed glance at your fellow first year, your eyes sliding to the trainer you were assigned by your absolutely-wonderful-and-charming wingleader next. "And so are you; running me into the ground, working me harder than anyone else here," you gesture around the gym, and laugh sarcastically as you notice it has emptied out.
"Oh! Wait. There is no one else here." You frown, and Bodhi only glowers at you.
"You'll be thanking me when it comes time for challenges and you can actually take down your opponents." He says nonchalantly, and you shake your head in disbelief.
Ridoc opens his mouth again from your right. "It's probably for the best anyway-"
"Ugh, Gods Ridoc, do you ever SHUT UP?" Your anger bubbles over, and he immediately stops talking. "I'm so tired, I'm worn out, I've been here all night sweating my ass off with him," you jerk your thumb toward his annoying upper-classman friend. "Now, I have to listen to you run your mouth, too?" You sigh frustratedly, glaring at the moon through the open window.
You push to your feet then, sending one final angry look at the two friends.
"All on a fucking school night, too!"
You turn on your heel, making way for the locker rooms. You cross your arms, feeling the smallest victory won as you approach the locker room door.
It's short lived when you hear their mocking laughter from the training room behind you.
You slam the door shut, grumbling and growling as you stomp by the grayed-out stalls. What the hell is their deal, anyway? Surely you could handle your own. Not every guy here is looking for a girl to go after, anyhow.
Approaching the mirrors, you sigh heavily, bracing your hands against the cool ceramic of the sink.
So what if you were paired with a man. You would be able to hold your own -- they were just afraid of looking weak. That had to be it.
You stared at your reflection for a moment, taking in the bags under your eyes from the lack of sleep. Your ponytail was nearly undone, so many hairs had fallen in the hours you'd been forced to train here.
Screw Bodhi for making you stay so late. You shook your head, thinking about him pinning you to the mat. He didn't care how tired you were -- he did it anyway. And Ridoc, he never knew when to stop running those full lips of his...
Screw them both, honestly.
You were pulled from your thoughts as the sound of a locker closing rang out, causing you to jump. Your heartbeat quickened; surely, no one else would be in here. The gym was empty when you walked out.
"Hello?" You called. Your feet felt frozen in place, your mind swimming with all of the possibilities. After a few moments of silence, you shrugged it off. It was late; perhaps with the lack of sleep, you were simply imagining things.
Of the four shower stalls available, you weighed your options before stepping into the one in the corner. Two were missing a shower curtain, and the other had a sign that read "Out of Order" in front of it. Not to mention the lack of a lightbulb in there; you went with the fully funtional option.
You peeled your clothes off, discarding them at the bench near the sinks before stepping in. You had just closed the curtain quietly, the room so eerily quiet when your mind began to wander. You could have sworn the locker rooms had six showers -- not four.
Again, you rolled your shoulders, chalking it up to be pure exhaustion that had you thinking these rediculous things. With a soft sigh, you reached for the shower handle.
✧・゚: *
It seemed as though fifty things happened at once.
You had just let your eyes drift shut, your hand bracing the cool steel of the shower faucet as you awaited the feeling of the warm water to rain down on you.
In that same second, the curtain was abruptly shoved open, and you heard (definitely heard, not imagined) a male voice, asking, "Uhhh, what are you doing in here?"
Also, in that same second, you screamed. At the top of your lungs. Wide-eyed, shrill, screaming. Because why the fuck, was Liam Mairi, of all people, staring back at you, naked in the girl's locker room?
While he was also... naked... in the girl's locker room?
"Liam!" You screetched, reaching for the shower curtain in the same second he did. You pulled it toward yourself in an attempt to conceal what had already been exposed, but it seemed he had the same idea. It was as though tug-of-war was happening with the damned curtain, and in the end, his barely covered dick was pressed against your barely covered vagina. You braced a forearm across your chest in an attempt to hide your top half.
"Y/N, what the Hell-" he began, his cheeks reddening as he looked anywhere other than in your direction.
"Ohhh no," you roared. "What the fuck," you puncuated. "Are you doing. In the girls. Locker room!" You demanded. He let out a sarcastic laugh, his eyes drifting from the ceiling finally to meet yours.
"Are... are you serious right now?" He asked. Your eyebrows rose so high on your forehead, you thought they'd recede right into your hairline.
"Yes? It's, what, nearly midnight?" You seethe. He chuckles, his seaglass eyes roving across your face. You narrow your brows at him.
"It is midnight now, yes," he confirms. "I just got back from riding with Deigh, and since the shower in my dorm is taken..." he explains, his piercing gaze trailing over your mouth and drifting lower. "...I opted to use the ones down here. In the boys, locker room, I might add." He smirks, his pupils widening as he unashamedly takes in the cleavage you still have pressed against him.
Your cheeks burn, the embarassment of the entire situation, and now you've only gotten in worse with this compromising position you're in-
"H-hey," you say, your breaths quickening as you realize he is still quite literally oogling you. His gaze flicks up, the cool blue of his irises now darkened with lust as he's gone completely quiet. "My eyes are up here."
He chuckles, his bottom lip pulling between his teeth as his hand gently reaches around the curtain, the pads of his fingertips connecting with the curve of your exposed waist. You suck in a sharp breath, the steam from the shower providing no warmth under his icy gaze.
Sure, you could admit you had thought about your handsome squadmate in... rather unsavory positions before. Would you ever act on those? Probably not. You were only ever cordial before this, anyway -- but the way he was practically devouring you with his eyes right now had you feeling the need to rub your thighs together.
"You think she's still in here?"
Whatever trance Liam had you in was severed the moment you heard that taunting voice, your eyes widening with the realization.
"Probably, she never came back out."
You grabbed Liam by the shoulder, tugging him into the running water with you -- curtain be damned. You slid it shut, concealing yourself from the approaching males. Turning to face him, you see his face etched in concern. You pull him close to whisper.
"I think Ridoc and Bodhi are in here," you explain, and Liam's lips press into a line. You brace your hands on your hips, anxious now that they'll come looking for you, watching as you went right into the wrong locker room.
You turn your back to Liam, your flushed cheeks indication that you are aware the both of you are still fully nude together... only now, you're in the shower together. No barriers, no curtains between you two.
He steps toward you, his fingers cupping under the curve of your ass as he pulls you back to him. You hiss quietly, turning your neck to look up at him. He's already leaning over to say something, his lips trailing along the column of your neck.
"They can... still see your feet, you know."
You look down. You hadn't even considered the few inches between curtain and floor -- they'd surely know it was you. Not many other males in the Riders quadrant had pink toenails with flowers painted on them.
Liam's hands snake around your hips, pulling you flush against him. You can instantly feel his length pressed against your ass, and as his fingers continue to trail across your dewy skin, he twitches against you.
"Fuck..." he groans, low and gutteral against your throat before placing a wet kiss against your skin. You can hear Bodhi and Ridoc poking around, their voices becoming ever so closer.
"L-Liam... please," you pant, his hands travelling up to cup your breasts in his palms. He pinches your nipples hard between his fingers, causing you to bite down on your bottom lip to stifle your cry.
"Liam, please, you have to h-help me," you plead, and he chuckles lowly in your ear. You hadn't realized that you had begun moving your ass against him, his cock now pressed more firmly against your bum.
"Oh, I'll help you," he offers, his hands grabbing your hips and turning you around to face him. His lips merely ghost over yours as he speaks, staring directly down into your wide eyes.
"But you're gonna help me too." His hands slide underneath your butt, gripping the flesh as he lifts you off of your feet. He pulls you against his chest and you wrap your legs around his waist, the feel of his erection strong against your throbbing core. He backs you up until you're pressed against the stone wall, one of his hands moving underneath you as his eyes bore into yours.
"There -- now no one can see you." He grins, and you suck your bottom lip between your teeth. The muscles of his shoulders flex, and you watch as his hand moves in time beneath you; realizing he is stroking himself below your entrance. The epiphany sends another wave of heat through you, and he leans in close as his tip prods at your entrance.
"Now, be a good girl for me and keep quiet?" He smirks, and you all but nod before he slowly pushes himself inside of you, each inch stretching your aching pussy deliciously.
"Mmmm," You squeeze your eyes shut, trying your best to stifle your moans as he sheaths himself inside of you to the hilt, only pulling out a few inches before roughly shoving back in.
Your eyes fly open, your mouth wide as you stare up at him. He simply smirks at you, one hand palming your ass and the other bracing against the stone wall. He continues fucking himself into you, slowly at first, drinking in every quiet whimper you let out for him.
"So tight," he rasps, his gaze focusing on your breasts pressed against him once more. You fight to keep any noises at bay, worried that Gods forbid another person pulls back the shower curtain-
"Ohhhh! Looks like Y/N came in here on purpose, huh!" Ridoc's taunting voice bellows, a blast of cool air flooding the warm shower as he yanks open the shower curtain. Your nipples harden at the sudden temperature change, only seeming to turn Liam on more. Ridoc chuckles at the scene before him, and you watch as your trainer approaches from behind.
"It's... it's not what it looks...like-"
"Oh, I think it's exactly. What it looks like." Bodhi cocks an eyebrow, glancing to Liam who has not let up on his relentless deepstroking. "Is this exactly what it looks like?"
Liam smirks, glancing between you and the two males watching the scene before them. "Oh, it is exactly what it looks like."
You gasp, looking up at him in disbelief. "Liam! What-"
"I've heard enough." Bodhi says, raising a hand in silence. He only sighs, his eyes raking over your naked form before him. Your cheeks heat as Liam adjusts his angle, his hand gripping the back of one of your knees as he drives into you harder. You can't help the moan the escapes; the sheer force at which he's fucking you is enough to make anyone wet at the sight of it.
"Thought she deserved something -- been a pretty good girl for me, anyway," Liam praises, and Ridoc rolls his eyes.
"Yeah, well she was bein' a fuckin' brat during training today-"
You glare from your place on the wall, watching as his devilishly handsome lips tilted up in a smirk.
"Ridoc... I said... shut... up..." you pant. Bodhi leans against the stone wall, chewing on the inside of his lower lip as he watches your breasts bounce with every thrust Liam gives you. "Ah... oh.. fuck, Liam I'm-"
Liam groans against the hollow of your throat, his cock twitching inside of you before shooting thick ropes of cum deep into your pussy. The tether inside of you snaps, your warm release trickling out of you and running over the curves of your thighs. You're panting, still coming down from your high when Ridoc opens his mouth again.
"Why don't you shut me up then?" He says, his voice thick as he pushes his sweat shorts over his muscled thighs. Liam places you gently back on the ground, the aftershocks of your first orgasm finally wearing off as you saunter toward Ridoc. You shove the shower curtain aside; clearly, there was no concern for getting clean anytime soon.
Approaching the bench where your clothes lay, you push against his shoulders, watching as he yields to your touch. He lies flat on his back near the edge of the bench, his toned legs tapering off the end to where his feet plant flat on the floor.
He grins cheekily up at you, his eager hands guiding your waist as you swing your leg over his chest. He grips at your thighs, squeezing your skin as you position your leaking heat just above his awaiting mouth.
"This will do," You say, looking down at him and smirking. He groans, fingers pulling you to sit all the way down on his tongue. Immediately he gets to work, his lips exploring each and every inch of your throbbing core while his hands grip your ass, perched lightly on top of his chest.
"Ohhh... fuck," you moan, your fingers threading through his onyx locks as you begin to lightly rock your hips against his expert tongue. He licks up into you, illiciting more whines of pleasure from you as your fingers tug on his locks. He growls into your cunt, the sound sending another wave of pleasure through you that has one hand leaving his hair and playing with your nipple instead, imagining how good his mouth would feel there if this was any indication.
"Ridoc, yes, yes..." You chant, your eyes drifting toward the abandoned shower you had retreated from before. No longer is Bodhi leaned against the wall -- the space is empty, save for a few articles of clothing on the ground.
You let out a sharp gasp as your hair is suddenly yanked, forcing your chin up as dark brown eyes stare lustfully down at you. From the corner of your eye, you watch as a blonde head strides over, sitting on the bench a couple of feet away and leaning against the row of lockers.
"You don't seem so eager to get to bed now that your cunt's being eaten," Bodhi snarls, his gaze trazing over your face contorted in pleasure. You can't think of a witty a response, no comeback in mind -- especially as Ridoc moves below you, his nose prodding against your clit. You let out a breathhy gasp, your mouth hanging open and Bodhi only shakes his head at you.
"Mouth looks a little empty," he grits out, gripping your chin harshy before releasing you. He strides before you, his fingers tugging on his length before sitting in front of you on the bench. Your mouth practically waters at the sight; he's huge. He sees it too, as he scoffs at you.
"You wanna mouth off all night -- bend over and take it all then," he challenges. Ridoc's hand moves to grip his own length, moving in quick thrusts as you bend before him, lowering on your hands until his glistening tip is positioned just before your lips.
"Said you could handle a man yourself... handle me then," he looks at you darkly, and you glare at him, shoving his entire length down your throat in one thrust. You gag around him, his intimidating size measuring up. When you draw your head back, his hand threads through the mess of a ponytail you have left, roughly gripping the back of your head and forcing your mouth all the way back down on his cock.
"Fuck... so pretty, taking my dick all the way down that little throat," he groans. Tears prick the corners of your eyes, the combined sensation with Ridoc's punishing tongue nearly pushing you over the edge almost too much. When Bodhi releases you again, you stick out your tongue, and he taps his length against it.
"Fucking hot," he mutters, watching you through half-lidded eyes. You dare a glance to your right, catching sight of Liam relaxed on the nearly bench, fisting his own cock at the sight of you getting both males off at once. His head is rolled back in pleasure, his eyes closed as he drags his fingers up, and down, and up...
You don't have time to warn Ridoc before your orgasm rolls through you, your thighs shaking beside his head. You glance up, surprised to see Bodhi panting heavily as you continue sucking him at a slow, punishing pace.
"Fuck... oh fuck-"
He plunges his cock deep, shooting his cum down your throat. You gag, the size stretching your throat around him as he whimpers before you with each twitch of his cock. You focus on swallowing every last drop; though a small part of you cheers in silent victory that you have Bodhi Durran whimpering for you.
✧・゚: *
You're spent. You're absolutely spent; surely, you'd been in here hours now, the three males delighting in pulling orgasm after orgasm from you, and you doing the same for them.
Nonetheless, you still find yourself happily sitting atop Ridoc's lap, bouncing on his thick length in the early hours of the morning.
"Fuck, Y/N... just like that, bounce that ass on my dick, just like that," his arms are wrapped around your waist, holding you against him as you ride him, milking every last drop out of his delicious length. It was the only time, you'd admit, you liked hearing the sound of his voice.
"Tongue," Liam commands, and you open your mouth wide, letting your tongue fall out per his request. He grins, giving your head a little pat before tapping it with his silky-smooth dick.
"Good girl," he praises, slipping into your awaititng mouth with ease. Your eyes roll back, his tip hitting the back of your throat as Ridoc's thrusts were now brushing your cervix. Your hands gripped his shoulders, and he delighted in the way your strangled groans sounded right next to his ear.
It was the sharp slap on your right butt cheek that had your walls fluttering around Ridoc though, Bodhi's fingers lightly tugging on your hair again in silent control.
"You like being fucked, is that it, hm?" He asked, landing another slap against your skin. You cried out, Liam pulling his cock from you for only a moment to hear your pleasure-filled screams.
Another slap -- this time, you felt yourself on the edge.
"Fuck!" You sobbed, your fucked out expression staring at Liam with your rounded eyes. He sucked in a breath, his hand working his cock as he slipped his thumb into your mouth.
"Taking it so well..." he mumbled, his eyes closing only for a moment before sticky spurts of cum covered you, painting your chin and neck with the evidence. He sighed in pleasure, Ridoc slowing his relentless pounding before he pulled his dick from you, his cum shooting across your boobs and painting your skin in his seed.
"Fuck... I'm so close," Bodhi groaned, his hands hauling you off of his friend and bending you over the sink. Before you had a moment to adjust, he filled you with his length, his hips snapping against your ass harshly. His fingers gripped your throat, tilting your chin to gaze at yourself in the mirror. Your mouth dropped open, watching the attractive male behind you fuck himself into you mercilessly.
"This perfect fucking cunt," he grunted, his chocolate curls swaying with each thrust. "Watch how good you take it, baby," he ground out, his eyes meeting yours in the mirror. Your stomach tightened, your eyes rolling back as his dick rubbed against your sensitive spot.
"Bodhi... Bodhi, please, I'm cumming-" You squeaked, and with a few sharp thrusts, he came inside you, pulling out to watch hungrily as the white liquid dripped out of your raw cunt. You gripped the sink's edge, panting as the weight of the evening's activities took hold of you. Glancing to the shower, you sighed, chuckling at the thought.
"You still have time, if you want to actually clean up before class," Ridoc chuckles, pulling his shorts on from behind you. Liam yawns, stretching his arms wide as he glances at you through the mirror. Bodhi grabs your clothes, extending them to you. You take them with a shaky hand, chuckling softly and shaking your head. You could barely believe the direction the night had gone.
"Yeah... I think I may just skip class today."

Have you done a drabble on Reid and bombshell r wedding day?? I just read the proposal one and :(( it warms my heart
Ty for requesting!!! fem
The morning of your wedding day isn’t the chaos you’d both pictured. Spencer wears the finest suit he’s ever had. You wear a white silk dress with drops of diamonds hanging in your hair like the rain. There are no morning drinks, no catastrophes to correct.
You sit on a chaise lounge. He sits in a wooden chair, dragged to you, his hands on your knees careful not to wrinkle the skirt of your dress.
“It's so quiet,” he whispers.
“I know.”
Somewhere in the venue, Penelope and Luke are waging war on the florists —you did not order yellow geraniums. Hotch is explaining to Jack that you and Spencer met years ago, and have been smitten with one another pretty much every moment since. Derek’s cradling his toddler before he takes stage as the best man. JJ, Emily, and Tara are debating the kiss; will you make a show of things, pulling him in by the tie for a smacker, or will Spencer tame the excitement?
There’s a whole team of people making sure today goes smoothly. And still, Spencer‘s worried about some thing.
“You know how beautiful you look?”
“I should say that to you.” You reach for his tie, rolling it gently between your fingers. “My beautiful husband.”
“This is… I don’t really know what to say.”
“You don’t have to say anything, Spence.” Anything he has to say about you, you know it all. The same way you’ve told him every thought you’ve had about him for years. He’s part of your psyche.
“I’m so nervous about my vows,” he confesses then.
“Don’t be.”
“What if yours are better than mine?”
“They will be.” You raise your hand tentatively to his face, fingertips drawing in the hollow of his cheek. “But you’re the academic, baby…”
“I can write them again.”
You smile at him keenly. “If you don’t like them, you can try again on our anniversary. Or in a few years when we renew them, yeah? It doesn’t have to be perfect. You’ve promised me all this stuff for years.”
“My speech isn’t good enough, either.”
“Your speech will be perfect. It’s Morgan’s you should worry about, he’s gonna rehash all the embarrassing things… Savannah said he’s been practicing when Hank’s sleeping. That he,” —you laugh, in love with not just Spencer but the world— “keeps waking him up laughing at his own jokes.”
Spencer dips toward you at the sound of your laughing, he can’t help himself. “If it didn’t wrinkle your dress, I’d really try to have you in my lap,” he admits in a whisper, nothing salacious, just the honest truth. “We could sit on the floor, like we did that time in New York.”
“Where would we get dessert now?”
“That’s what we’ll do tonight, right?” He looks for your thigh in the dress, squeezing nicely.
“Yeah, Spence. Yeah, I’ll even put the dress back on.” You tilt your chin up and follow your nose down, meeting his gaze with an unnamed emotion. Total devotion, perhaps. Something too soft to describe accurately. “We’ll share the spoon, just like New York.”
Three kisses and a careful hug, his hair tickling your forehead as he curls over you. “This is the best day of my life.”
“It’s the best day of mine!” You let your hands climb his back, aiming for the mop of his hair to play with. “You’re everything, sweetheart. You’re just perfect. I can’t believe you’re seeing me in my dress though, everybody says that’s bad luck.”
But you and Spencer don’t worry about what everybody says anymore. Not for a long time.
“It’s good to see it now. I… I know I’ll cry, but this is taking the edge off.”
“Don’t cry, honey. You’ll make me cry, and if I cry up there I’m gonna feel so silly all day.”
“Silly,” he says, beginning to rub your back in swoops. “If you don’t cry, I might feel jilted.”
“So I have to choose between mortal embarrassment or hurting my husband?”
He hugs you tighter. You aren’t married yet, but by the end of the night you will be. You’ll order desserts to the hotel room and sit in his lap on the floor by the heater, your white dress surely wrinkled, his tie either side of his neck, undone, neck exposed to be caressed with the tip of your nose.
“I can’t not cry,” he says now. “Don’t expect me not to.”
“I don’t really expect you not to.” And no one will expect it of you when you cry like a child as he slips on your ring, but it makes sense to him. You and Spencer always make sense to each other.

18+ Steve Harrington x F! reader, momentary mean! Steve, established relationship, lil bit of angst, PIV sex, rough sex, unprotected sex, hate sex turned make up sex WC:2.2K
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A/N: Why not? Enjoy!
Tumblr media
"So we're still fighting, huh?", Steve narrows his eyes at you from the kitchen entry way.
He's a picture of disarray — shirt misbuttoned, belt buckle in need of fastening, tie draped loosely over his shoulders and hair a wild, mussed up mess.
His unruly state came to be as a result of forgetting to set his alarm after your heated exchange last night, waking to find he was running late for work and you hadn't bothered to rouse him like you usually would have.
His sarcastic barb goes seemingly unheard though when you refuse to look up from the dishes you're scrubbing in the sink, back still turned to him even though the crumbs from your breakfast of blueberry jam on toast have long been washed clean from your plate.
It was a disagreement blown out of proportion that had caused the friction between you two. Steve had hoped sleeping it off would help to cool your tempers enough to reconcile in the morning but now that seems as likely as him making it to work on time.
Or was it?
He sighs, a clear note of irritation coming through because he should be digging through the laundry basket in search of his socks before he tries to shove his feet inside his shoes without them again in his rush, not rooted in place, eyes dark and stony but taking you in.
Of course you'd try to give him blue balls on top of it all too.
He grits his teeth as he stares at you in your too short satin robe, every inch of your legs and thighs on display as the hem hangs high, just a few inches below the swell of your ass. Practically dangling yourself in front of him.
He enters the kitchen then and though it feels risky approaching you the way that he does, he recognizes that the air's thick with a familiar kind of tension when he comes up behind you.
Quickly and none too gently, he rucks up your robe to confirm a suspicion he'd been harboring. He finds you're nude underneath the thin, silky layer when you allow him just a glimpse, swatting his hand away with a look sharper than a knife's edge when your eyes connect with his over your shoulder.
But Steve knows better than to take it seriously. There's no ire behind your glare — no unspoken threat meant to make him retreat. You're still mad, sure, he can feel the heat radiating off of you just as it's made his own skin warm but your expression softens just enough to confirm that what you really want is for him to come closer. And that's exactly what he does.
You feel the warmth of Steve's chest pressing against your back when you turn to the sink once more, his arms caging you in place, leaving you no room to escape. The water continues to run until he closes the faucet too, leaning down to whisper into your ear. "This how you want to solve it?", he asks, pulling his hand back to lift your robe again only this time you don't attempt to thwart him, letting him cup your ass and squeeze your soft skin. Hard.
The heat of last night's fight had died down to a simmer but it left you both burning in a different, much more familiar way as you answer him.
"Yeah. This is how I want to do it", you utter loud enough for him to hear you clearly though this close together, there's nothing he can miss no matter how softly you might whisper it.
The sound of his belt coming undone has you buzzing beneath your skin while you brace yourself, curling your fingers under the edge of the countertop as Steve finishes pulling out his girthy cock. But before he even attempts to get it anywhere near your entrance he holds out his palm to you, knowing that he doesn't need to ask for you to spit into it, something that feels instinctual now at this stage in your relationship as he draws it back and slicks up his cock with your saliva.
With his length coated in a warm, glossy mixture of your spit and his precum, Steve doesn't keep you waiting for long, your legs parting to help with easing the tip of his cock in.
"Does it hurt?", he asks and while it might sound like he's only concerned about you, you can hear the heat still present in his veins.
"A little", You answer with a little heat of your own, no intention of asking him to stop.
"Good. I know you can take it", he tells you, all thorns and shit eating grins.
It doesn't happen as easily as when you two take the time to engage in foreplay first, your body usually opening up to accept him once he's gotten you ready with his tongue or fingers but this time Steve manages to notch his tip by your hole and breach you once it pops inside with a little effort, the rest of him slowly sinking inch by inch into your velvet heat.
Despite the wetness that smears your inner thighs, your whole body tenses and you have to breathe through it, pain marrying pleasure while you're being stretched open, hissing under your breath when he reaches his base. He spends a few seconds all the way inside you, just feeling you wrap around him and squeeze, your walls pulsing when he decides that's as soft as he'll allow himself to be with you today.
And he proves it when he begins pulling himself out, only to grit his teeth and drive himself back in again, making you squeal instantly, getting you thoroughly acquainted with the feeling and the force of every thrust as his pelvis bounces against your ass.
Steve so rarely ever fucks you like this and you're so caught up in taking his cock that you barely notice the way he reaches up to pull the front of your robe open too, realizing what he's done when he finds your nipples and begins to pinch and tug on them, smirking when it draws a high pitched whimper out of you as your steady breathing turns to shallow pants.
But you're not some delicate flower type. You're not one to be so compliant and let him ruin you so easily. So while Steve's busy fondling your chest you're quick to even the score when you grab hold of his right hand, lifting it up to your mouth so you can sink your teeth into the soft skin between his thumb and his wrist.
The pained hiss turned groan he lets out despite himself is a small victory but a sweet one nonetheless, enough to make you smile around his throbbing hand before deciding to remove your teeth from him, making sure to scoff at him all smug as he rubs at the little red teeth marks left behind on his tan skin.
Of course he takes it as well as a throatful of glass, considering the act a challenge for more.
Steve offers you one small moment of respite, slowly pulling almost all the way out, making sure his swollen tip remains inside you while you sigh, only to make you choke on a moan when he pushes all the way inside again in a single hard thrust, punching the air out of you.
You wanted to retaliate again, maybe reach behind to sink your nails into his thigh, scraping at his skin until narrow lines or blood rise to the surface or even rip at the clothes that hang on him in his state of half undress but you're unable to follow through this time with how he's managed to rattle you.
Steve's far too pleased to feel your elbows start to shake as your arms struggle to keep you up at this point, set on making your knees wobble too just so he can gloat about it later when you find it difficult to pick yourself up off the kitchen floor and walk away once he's done with you.
Slowly, Steve withdraws again, glee lighting up his eyes when he pushes back in with the same force of that first sharp thrust and this time you fail to stop a short scream from ripping out of your throat, back arching from how well and hard he's pressing against that spot deep inside you.
"Something you wanna say, sweetheart?", he sneers and taunts, pleased when you struggle to put together a coherent sentence while trying to endure his unforgiving pace. "Spit it out before I stop being so nice."
You muster what you can and manage to whimper it out, feeling so worn out though you haven't even reached your climax yet.
"Cum inside me. Please", you tell him — beg him, fingers turning cold and numb from how hard your grasping the countertop.
He's nothing short of cocky when he hears you whine all desperate and spent, a smug sense of accomplishment washing over him when he sees the thick coating of slick and cream you've left on his cock as he watches it withdraw and disappear inside you one harsh thrust after the other.
And then you tell him the rest.
"M—miss you when you're gone. Need to —ngh. Need to feel you in me when you're not here", you manage to string the words together before letting out a sound that's somewhere between a gasp and a whine, the kind he'll think about later on his own, working himself up until he's got no choice but to pry it out of you again.
But this isn't one of those moments, no matter how much he'd liked the sounds falling from your parted, panting lips.
Steve loses his rhythm before he stills completely inside you, your words sinking in like nails piercing his skin.
This was it. The crux of last night's argument.
You missed Steve. He'd been working too hard lately and you'd grown concerned. With the stress of his job and the little sleep he'd had he'd grown defensive and you'd gotten irritated, both of you clashing when you should have been listening and working together.
When he had woken up this morning Steve had cooled down enough to know he'd been unfair to you the night before. He was usually the type to talk things out but he'd gotten swept up in how things happened to pan out today, wrapping an arm around you tenderly, the hand you'd bitten placed over your thumping heart. He nuzzles his chin onto your shoulder to get closer to you, the stubble he'd been unable to shave this morning scratching against your skin gently as he whispers into your ear with so much sincerity.
"I'm sorry— I'm so sorry."
The sound of him all earnest and ragged makes you melt in his hold because you know how much he means it — you can practically feel how much he means it as it sinks into your skin and reaches into your ribcage.
Like Steve, you would have been open to talking it out had this been a regular fight. This particular fight however had you dumping more fuel on to the fire that roared between you because it required more than just words to resolve everything. It needed more than swapped apologies for the two of you to make amends and return back to normal.
You really needed to fuck it out. All teeth and nails and sore, spent bodies.
"It's okay. I'm sorry too", you answer, a smile growing on your parted, panting lips. "Now fuck me, will you?"
It catches Steve off guard enough to make him snort, thankful that the worst of your fight is behind you now as he starts to pick up the pace again, firm but also tender with the way his lips move against your neck and his fingers brush and roll at your nipples.
"Going to make it up to you, baby. Gonna be around more. Gonna be here for you, okay?", he pants against your skin, all gravelly groans and grunts with his nails digging into the skin on your waist.
You moan out his name, using what little strength you feel you have left to push yourself back to meet his thrusts. "Steve, oh fuck... I'm so close. I need you— I fucking need you, please."
He snaps his hips against your ass again, drawing out a blissful shudder out of you. "Gonna make it all right but until then—", you feel him draw away from you a little bit then, his hands leaving your body as you realize that he's going through his pockets.
With his cock still buried inside you and throbbing, he pulls out his phone and begins dialing, his thrusts commencing again, steady and deep enough to make your whole body draw tight, your release within reach.
"Try to keep it down while I call in sick, okay? Gonna have you all to myself today. Promise I'll keep you nice and full— gonna look so beautiful when you're dripping with me..."

a/n: holy shit how have i gone this long without making rin bf headcanons??? thank you anon im gonna give you a kith 💋
˚。⋆❀˖° BOYFRIEND RIN ˚。⋆❀˖°
Tumblr media
❀ Itoshi Rin x gn!reader | all characters aged up 18+ | SFW
BLUE LOCK M.LIST | requests are open! | enjoy 🐢 -aria
Tumblr media
pre-boyfriend!rin who is much less intimidated by his feelings for you than people may expect. he understands how he feels and he accepts it, but no way in hell is he telling you about them. he tries to push them down as far as he can for as long as he can. doesn’t want the distraction and is a little insecure about how he’ll be as a boyfriend.
pre-boyfriend!rin who goes out of his way to introduce himself to you, help you out with stuff, get things for you that you need, but not without complaining (as if he isn’t giddy at the thought of just being around you). “Seriously, you can’t do this on your own? If you’re going to hurt yourself doing it then just let me handle it.”
pre-boyfriend!rin who gets jealous and possessive as if you’re already his partner. tries to get your attention on him instead of others without showing how he’s feeling. always makes it a little too obvious though, especially when he literally grabs your arm and pulls you away. “That guy’s a loser, just stay with me and he won’t bother you.”
pre-boyfriend!rin who invites you to hang out just to sit and talk in his room, invites you to his games and practices, gets defensive about introducing you to his teammates, and proceeds to act as if all that isn’t couple level interaction. rin finds solace in the thin line he walks between acting like you best friend and acting like your boyfriend. he likes the way he gets to act in regards to you without actually having to explain himself or his feelings. however, the thought that you aren’t actually his and could be taken from him at any time is enough to push him past his comfort zone and lead to his confession.
pre-boyfriend!rin who lets his feelings build up to an unbearable point and only then does he confess to you. his confession comes off a little passive aggressive. he isn’t sure how to explain how he feels without saying that you did this to him or you did that to him and he had no other choice but to fall in love with you. he unintentionally rambles on during his confession, drawing it out a bit too much because he isn’t sure when to stop, and he could honestly go on forever about how much and how deeply he feels for you. slowly but surely his tone becomes more affectionate and he shuts up in a moment of embarrassment awaiting your response.
Tumblr media
boyfriend!rin who so quickly loses the tough guy act once you guys start dating. the beginning stages of physical touch and intimacy hit him like a semi truck and he can’t help but melt into a puddle any time he gets to be in your arms. he slugs over to you after practice and games, still sweaty and heaving, and plops himself over your shoulders. tries his best not to put all his weight on you but just enough for him to feel cradled. he swears laying in bed with you is some kind of mind control ritual that you perform on him because how else could you get him to so easily open up and share a piece of his mind with you? the stillness of the night, the softness of the sheets, the comforter, and your skin against his; it makes him feel so safe he doesn’t even let the words that come out of his mouth process in his brain first.
boyfriend!rin who takes you on very sweet and simple dates. likes sitting by the water with you, walking along the beach or at the park. he likes aimlessly kicking a soccer ball around with you in his backyard while you guys talk. dates with him feel more like hangouts, but sometimes he does like to put in a little extra effort to make it something special.
boyfriend!rin who has absolutely no wandering eye or intentions of being with anyone else. remember how difficult it was for him to just be with you? nah, no way is he doing that again. plus he’s got the best partner in the world so it’s not like he would ever want to risk that. because of this he would let you have a lot of say in his appearance. his haircuts, his clothes, even the body wash and cologne he wears. obviously he still wouldn’t let you choose something that he doesn’t like, but he wants you to like all of it too and he doesn’t mind catering to your preferences on him. you’re the only person he’s trying to impress and he wants you to feel confident about that.
boyfriend!rin who secretly wants everyone to know you’re his but also doesn’t want to make a spectacle out of you. he tells his teammates about you, occasionally will post about you, and he comments on all your posts. I can’t imagine him doing a hard launch, but he’s not afraid to mention in interviews or in conversation that he is in fact taken and in love.
boyfriend!rin who greatly appreciates the advice and support that you give him. he’s got some issues he needs to work through, and he feels so lucky to have you by his side. not judging him or scolding him for acting the way he does, but instead teaching him love in new ways and guiding him towards better understanding of others and behavior. he really starts taking things more seriously when you’re around, specifically in regards to separating his attitude on the field and off the field. he holds you like water in his hands and he wants that to help him learn how to show others and himself that same tenderness when necessary.
boyfriend!rin who is very possessive but not over protective. he lets you go out and dress up and look hot for the whole world to see. he trusts you with his whole heart and the idea of someone trying to hit on you while he isn’t there doesn’t scare him. he does hate when people hit on you while he is there though, it makes his blood boil. he goes into predator mode and literally forces you to cling to him like you’re his cub. he’s definitely the type to fight with other guys in your instagram comment section, would stop after you tell him that it’s kind of embarrassing though lol. god forbid someone from a rival team makes a comment after seeing you at one of his games, he’s literally devouring them on the pitch and then probably trying to beat the shit out of them after.
boyfriend!rin who purposely puts things on the highest shelves in your shared apartment so that you have no other choice but to ask him for help. he reaches up and grabs whatever you need, handing it to you with the stupidest smirk on his face.
boyfriend!rin who always needs to have some point of contact with you when you’re together. he isn’t big on pda at all and would cringe if you tried to be excessive about it, but he will admit he just needs your hand in his almost all of the time. if not that then he’ll opt for placing his hand on your lower back or on your thigh.
boyfriend!rin who is so whipped that he looks through your socials and his personal pictures of you multiple times a day when he’s away for games. he genuinely gets homesick for you and hates the feeling. calls you when he wakes up in the mornings and before he goes to bed at night, and of course is texting you throughout the day. he’s not a gimmicky guy but he loves getting you little souvenirs from the different countries he visits. his gifts are always tasteful and he knows what you like so don’t worry.
boyfriend!rin who is the best gift giver! he’s so doting and attentive that he knows you like the back of his hand and never fails to surprise you with items, trips, events, etc. that you absolutely love.
boyfriend!rin who is super freaking awesome and cute and im only writing this bc i feel weird ending the post on something random lol. all hail rin itoshi. the rin stans have convinced me!!

relight me - skz x 9th member with ed!reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: ot8!skz x ed!reader
summary: when a once-strong light burns out, someone must relight it.
genre: idol! au, lots of comfort, angsty. mentions of ed, purging, skipping meals, throwing up, self-consciousness, hypervigilance, mentions of reader having a period (it doesn't happen dw) also . . . i'm well aware the title for reader in this one is a little bit primitive but that's the best way i could describe the fic mbmb
a/n: eat, eat, you EAT <3 div by @seulzitos
Tumblr media
"Y/n, come and eat!"
You turn towards your opened bedroom door, looking with mild displeasure at Changbin. He can tell you're not pleased with the interruption.
Setting your pen down and rather fiercely slamming your laptop, you move to the door and attempt to push it shut, only to be blocked by Changbin's firm, solid frame.
"Move," you hiss at him. "Let me work."
He gazes at you coolly, his hair fluffy and messy, large black glasses slipping off the bridge of his nose.
"It's almost half past eight, Y/n. Eat any later than this and you'll feel sluggish in the morning. You've been shut up in your room for too long now. Please?"
You shake your head stubbornly. "Five more minutes."
Changbin actually laughs then. "You said that three hours ago. Take a break."
"No." Your feeble argument does nothing to persuade him. In reality, you'd just been biding your time in your room until everyone went to sleep so you wouldn't have to eat.
His gaze narrows. "I'm gonna tell Chan-hyung if you don't come and eat something. Please don't make me do that. You know how he gets."
You groan so loudly you think the entire dorm hears it. Storming back into your room, you messily reorganize a few papers before grudgingly following Changbin into the dorm kitchen. Your heart pounds harder with every step you take.
Stupid. You really thought no one would notice.
Entering the kitchen, you see most of the boys already seated. Jisung and Jeongin are busy fighting over a piece of fried chicken, Minho and Felix looking on in amusement. Seungmin is on his phone, minding his own business at the end of the table, and Han and Chan are discussing some 3RACHA schedule adjustments for the next week, eating in rather a civilised manner compared to the other members. Hyunjin comes out of the kitchen holding a couple of extra plates, and he sets them down just as Changbin pushes you gently towards the group.
You exhale and sit down next to Felix, who's busy digging his way through a container of noodles. There's been no time lately to cook since schedules have been so busy, and Chan finally gave in when the members pleaded to have takeout for the fifth time after dance practice.
Not you. You disappeared as soon as the practice session ended. You've been so isolated lately that it almost feels strange to be around the members, to watch their antics and listen to their bickering. And normally, being around them would fill you with energy and you would gladly join in, but something inside you tells you to hold back and be quiet. Keep your head down, eat as little as possible, repeat.
Again and again and again.
The thoughts hang heavy in your mind as you're handed a plate. Gulping, you spoon out the smallest possible portion that you can handle without the others noticing the size of it. It's barely half a plate.
"Y/nnie!" Hyunjin calls. "Aren't you gonna eat more? You've been working harder than old man Chan-hyung lately."
Chan lightly slaps the boy upside his head and detaches the piece of fried chicken from within Jeongin and Jisung's shared grip. He lightly chides them and their bickering stops momentarily, hunger taking over pettiness. For the time being, anyway.
Hyunjin has managed to draw everyone's attention to your plate and it's immediately filled with several more portions, the boys chiding you affectionately and heaping more food onto the ceramic. The sight of it makes you want to throw up, and you fight the sudden surge of anger rising in your chest. You want to throw the plate at Hyunjin's face.
But you don't, so you sit and seethe as the boys settle down to eat, munching through sides and conversing cheerily with each other. You feel none of the joy of sharing a good meal with friends; just a cold, dead numbness that makes you feel like a disconnected power plug compared to all the others. You watch them eat platefuls without blinking, without caring, and part of you wishes you could do the same, but it's too much to ask.
Besides, you think, looking down at your plate, it's for the better. Hunger will keep me sharp.
You bite your lip and take tiny, tiny mouthfuls of the food; barely even forkfuls while you try and make up an excuse to leave the table. You could pretend that something urgently needs working on; the new choreo, maybe? No... Minho will force you to sit and eat before you leave.
Or you could say you feel sick, but you don't have a temperature or any physical ailments, and you've been fine since this morning. Not really an option either.
You could also just sit and eat like a normal human being, but the last thing you want is a full stomach, or a stomach with anything in it. And you've already tried purging and it's too messy and loud, so that's out of the question too.
You think about putting on some theatrical display of feeling sick or overtired but you just don't have the energy. And if you get up and just leave, all of them will come and pester you. The last thing you want right now is to talk about it.
Felix nudges you lightly and you almost shoot him a glare, but you reign it in. It's Felix.
"You feeling, okay, Y/n?" He asks quietly, smiling. "You look a little pale."
You thank your stars, and Felix. He's just given you an opportunity to escape. You feign a slow, tired expression.
"Yeah," you say quietly. "I just- I feel a bit sick."
His expression changes to one of affectionate concern and he places a hand over your forehead. "You don't feel warm... maybe it's because you're working too much that you feel sick."
You groan inwardly just as Chan looks your way, checking up. He raises an eyebrow in mild concern and you wince a little, signalling that you want to leave. You feel confident for a minute that he'll let you leave, because he always says yes, understanding that the bickering and noise gets too much for you sometimes. But he just shakes his head and points to your plate, mouthing "Eat.".
He. Shakes. His. Head.
You almost gape and consider getting up anyway, but the prospect of him finding everything out is almost too much to bear. The thought of being exposed makes shame burn through your veins, though it hasn't even happened, and you begin to feel the familiar, heavy inferiority settle in your gut like a teary, reprimanded child.
There's one last, desperate resort.
"I'm going to the bathroom," you murmur to Felix. "I think I got my period."
He nods, and you hope that Chan doesn't call you out as you stand and begin to walk away, every nerve tense. Thankfully, he doesn't, and you make it to your bedroom without trouble, shutting the door heavily behind yourself.
You open the door to the bathroom and immediately step on the scale, just to check that nothing's added itself on. You exhale a sigh of relief at the sight of the numbers decreasing just slightly.
Phew.
You lock the bathroom door and sit on the cold tiles, waiting. You can kill time for a while and then pretend to fall asleep on your bed. No way the boys will tell you off when they find out you just happened to fall asleep due to your consistent early schedules.
You sigh and reach into one of the drawers, pulling out a pad. Ripping the item off of the patterned plastic, you fold the sticky tabs back in and tuck in back in the drawer. You throw the plastic in the bin, making sure to run the tap for a few seconds so it looks like you've put a pad on and washed your hands. Felix uses your bathroom sometimes too because Hyunjin takes so long in their shared one, so you have to keep up the guise of the sudden arrival of a period.
Sighing, you open the bathroom door and are met with Chan. Your heart drops out of your chest and flies out the window entirely.
"C-chan," you stutter feebly, pressing a hand to your chest. "You scared me."
"Sorry," he says quietly. "Felix told me you thought you got your period. Are you feeling okay?"
You nod. He has no idea about what's going on, and the thought makes you feel a sort of twisted pride at the realisation.
"Do you need anything?" he asks. Ever the leader.
You shake your head, risking the next sentence. "I'm gonna lie down for a while, though..."
"Do you want me to bring you something to eat?"
You think before responding, the thoughts flashing through your head quick as lightning. If you say yes, he'll being food and expect the plate to be finished when he comes to collect it from your room. If you say no, he'll get suspicious.
"Yes, please," you say weakly, even though the mere thought of ingesting something makes you want to throw up.
Chan nods and you lie down on the bed, fighting the urge to just spill everything to him. But you can't, so you stay quiet and watch as Chan brings your plate from the table and sets it gently on the bedside.
You expect him to leave, but he doesn't. He sits down on the end of the bed, and your nerves begin to fray a little, feeling irritated that he won't just leave you alone.
If that wasn't enough, you suddenly notice that the faint noises from the members in the kitchen are gone, replaced with a dull, eerie silence. You feel a bit sick until you spot familiar faces lingering near the doorway of your room, their silhouettes visible against the frame of light spilling from the hallway.
"Y/n," Chan says quietly. A cold dread sits in your stomach, chilling you to the stomach. You know exactly what's coming.
"I'm sorry," you blurt out before he can continue.
Chan doesn't even look surprised, and he runs a hand through his hair just as Changbin moves into the room, sitting on the bed next to him. He places a hand on your thigh.
A sinking feeling takes hold of your gut.
They already knew.
Chan starts to talk. "Y/nnie, we know what's been going on. You're not in trouble, okay?"
You groan. "Well, now I feel like I am."
Changbin can't help but chuckle a little, though it's quieter than his usual laugh. "We didn't stop you to begin with because we didn't want you to feel like we were keeping tabs on you."
"And we thought it was something you could handle on your own," Chan adds quietly. "It was wrong of us to stand by and let you do this to yourself."
"We're sorry, Y/n," Hyunjin adds from the doorway. "We thought we were helping by forcing you to eat, but clearly not. And I'm sorry for drawing attention to how much you were eating earlier."
A hot tear spills over the brim and burns a line down the soft skin on your cheek. "Why are you all apologising? I shouldn't have done it, I just felt so low and I couldn't bring myself to eat, and-"
This time it's Jeongin who moves to sit next to you on the bed, and he coos at you lightly, quieting you. "It's okay, Y/n. Most of us know how that feels. But the thing is, you don't have to lie to us. We'll never say anything judgmental to you about it."
You nod tearfully and let Chan stroke your hair lightly, the warmth helping to soothe the storm inside your head.
"Would it help if you could eat alone?" He says quietly. "When most of us were trainees, we weren't used to eating so much in front of others, so most of us ate separately from each other until we felt more confident. Would that help?"
You nod.
"Besides, if you do that," Changbin adds jokingly, "One day, you'll be able to stuff your face like we do."
For the first time in you don't know how long, an involuntary laugh bubbles out of your chest, quite unexpectedly, and for the first time, it feels right.

Part 1
Tuesday Night, Day 1
Kim Namjoon opened the door, his dimples on display as he welcomed you in the mansion for the second time that night as though he was already expecting you. He looked warm and comfortable, donning out simple white shirt and grey sweatpants instead of his usual formal clothes. A damp towel hanged on his broad shoulders; his hair still wet from the shower he obviously took.
“Welcome home, little one,” he greeted lowly, pulling your reluctant form in. If he felt the way you dug your heels on the ground, he didn’t mention. He was just elated that you were here now. He couldn’t explain the excruciating pain that went through his body almost more than an hour after he dropped you off. He was only able to manage it when Hoseok messaged him, letting him know that you would be coming home with him, and only then did he feel the pain subsided.
For the second time, you stepped foot in the grandiose place of theirs. It was a strange juxtaposition, your cautious movements against Namjoon's determined pull. Funnily, you thought it was similar to the depiction of Lucifer dragging Persephone down to hell. Walking behind you was the intimidating man, Jung Hoseok. He was carrying your bags in his hand in a relaxed manner, opposite to how he was before. The amount of clothes he personally packed were staggeringly ridiculous. It was like he packed your whole belongings with the intention for you to never set foot in your own apartment again. In his other hand was your traitor of a cat that was purring as the man carried him in his arms. It was like your cat left you for a better life.
"You must have been exhausted," Namjoon's voice broke through the quiet, drawing your attention to his warm smile. His concern softened the edges of your weariness. “The day is too long for any of us. You should get your rest.”
You eyed Hoseok, unsure of how to act when he offered you a reassuring smile. “We readied your room, little one," Hoseok's voice was surprisingly gentle, a stark contrast to his prior demeanor. Namjoon bade you good night, his large hand cupping your cheek tenderly before letting you go. With a beckoning gesture, Hoseok motioned for you to follow him, and you fell into step beside him, the weight of exhaustion pressing down on your shoulders.
He opened the room to the far end of the right wing. Similar to the aesthetic of the house, the room was equally grandiose. The bed, positioned prominently in the center of the room, commanded attention with its regal presence. It was fit for a princess, you thought, with its lavish canopy and layers of plush bedding inviting you to sink into its embrace. Every detail spoke of luxury and refinement, from the gilded accents to the soft, muted colors that suffused the room with an air of tranquility.
Any other time you would have gushed over the beauty of this room, but not this time. And not with the stress that that love potion brought you! On top of that, you were in a strange place with your CEOs who were practically strangers up at this moment! It was more than understandable that you were acting wary of these two men. They were only two of the seven, and you were already displaced by them! What more if the remaining five were to face you now?
You looked over your lashes at the man who was putting your bags down in front of what looked like a huge walk-in closet, his face void of any negative emotions but the people pleaser and the anxious child in you made you voiced out what you were thinking.
“Are you mad at me?”
Your cat, on the other hand, was now roaming freely and inspecting his new home with a purr, uncaring of the stress that you were feeling. You knew that traitor had such an expensive taste that your cat would literally sell you for a piece of chicken. You couldn’t help but notice the amount of cat toys that were kept in the corner of the room, prompting you to think that this wasn’t a spur of the moment kind of thing.
Hoseok blinked owlishly as though you asked an utterly absurd question, one that would never happen. His brows furrowed before he offered you a reassuring smile. “What brought this on?”
You sighed dramatically before plopping down on a surprisingly soft and comfortable mattress. You were even unknowingly pouting, making him want to squish your adorable cheeks in between his hands and cooed down at you. “Well, because I may or may not have ruined your lives because of that drink. But in my defense, which I think is a very good and plausible one and it may actually stand in court, it was never my intention to make you ‘fall in love’ with me and that drink was only gifted to me! Don’t you think I should be given a less harsh punishment?”
“Punishment?” Hoseok repeated to himself, his head tilted to the side as he pondered the notion. Was living with them meant to be some sort of a punishment when this was a big house and you had seven men to cater to your every whim? They would literally give you the world should you asked. “No, honey. Listen, I’m not mad at you. In fact, it’s the opposite.”
“I’m mad at you?” you asked with a hint of humor in your voice before flashing him a grin of your own. You were too adorable and funny, he gushed as he kneeled in front of you. Slowly as though gauging your reaction, he held your hands in between his, running his thumb in a soothing manner when you didn’t pull away. Hoseok couldn’t help but smile widely when he held you. It was such an exhilarating rush, he observed, one that he had never felt before.
In fact, it was an addicting feeling…one that he could not bear to lose.
“We’re not mad,” he began, his voice earnest as he looked up at you from his kneeled form on the carpeted floor. He never knelt for anyone, but for you, he would without any questions asked. “None of us are mad. This is merely a…unique conundrum. But we’ll figure it out. We always do. So don’t worry, okay?
We will take care of it.”
It was well after midnight when the five equally annoyed men strutted inside the mansion. Their faces were painted with discontent, their eyes carrying a certain weight of physical exhaustion and their movements that of strain from being physically away from you.
They were, in fact, practically gritting their teeth from the discomfort and pain.
Kim Seokjin was the first to stride into the room, the heavy oak double-doors slamming against their hinges so forcefully that even Namjoon grew concerned. He meant, for heaven’s sake, he had it custom-ordered from his favorite artist that specialized in wood carving! Anyway, it was a rare sight to see him display any negative emotion as he was always the brother that brought lightness to whatever tense situation he found them in. He was known for his penchant to be kidding around, cracking dad jokes left and right and his laughter was contagious. But those traits were nowhere to be found.
His voice was surprisingly deep as he directed his equally captivating eyes to their lead CEO with darkness even Jimin who was walking behind him found startling. “Don't forget, I'm the one who prepares your food, Kim Namjoon."
Namjoon blinked at that, his hold on his laptop loosening at his hyung’s words. “All is fair in love and war?” he supplemented sheepishly, his fingers lifting to flash him a peace sign to which his hyung merely rolled his eyes to before plopping down the huge sofa and closing his eyes, his long leg stretched out in front of him.
Next to display his displeasure was Park Jimin, the one that was the scariest when mad. “You should have just shipped us to Japan then I’d be able to at least buy my skincare products,” Jimin sassed as he rolled his eyes at the lead CEO. His nose was turned up high as he strutted in the room. Despite the long hours spent travelling, Namjoon could not see any evidence that any single blonde hair was out of place on Jimin’s. “I think I finally know what hatred feels like.”
Last to enter was Taehyung and Jungkook. In his own peculiar way, Taehyung was fake sobbing in Jungkook’s arms while the latter was pouting at Namjoon as he patted the back of the former. “I never thought I’d be betrayed by the person I look up the most!”
“Yah!” Seokjin suddenly opened his eyes in disbelief “You trust him the most when I spend all my money on your food from when you were 13 to now?!”
Jungkook merely nodded, his doe eyes seeing nothing wrong with what he said. Taehyung, on the other hand, suddenly stopped acting and stood up straight to face the occupants of the room. “How are we reduced to this: betraying each other?” his deep voice resounded over the room, holding a tone of certain seriousness. His dark eyes met theirs. “Aren’t we better than this? We are brothers. We are better than animals that kill each other in the wild to survive. We are civilized men who are in the top performers of the society, who are featured in every reputable magazine. We are men that are leaders of-”
“Weren’t you the first to betray us, hyung?” Jungkook suddenly asked, effectively cutting off his speech. His head was tilted to the side as he sat beside Seokjin who was actively pushing him away to no avail, grumbling about how he should sit beside the brother he trusted the most.
“That’s neither here nor there!” Taehyung’s volume increased from guilt, his eyes comically widening.
“How?! It’s literally here! And it’s still here!” Jimin shouted, further antagonizing his agemate to which Taehyung gladly took on. The screaming match went on, with Jin joining, whereas Jungkook chimed in every once in a while, clearly enjoying the ensuing chaos. Every now and then, though, he voiced out how much he missed you. Namjoon was massaging his forehead and quietly telling them to stop and to keep quiet because someone was sleeping. It was only Hoseok who was silently watching his brothers and doing a quiet headcount only to come up short.
“Guys? Aren’t we seven?” He broke his silence for the first time, effectively stopping the loud bickering of the brothers. “Where’s Yoongi?”
The loud bickering of his brothers faded as he slipped inside the mansion without them noticing. To be honest, he did not have the required energy to deal with them, much so when he could barely keep himself upright. He didn’t want to see that traitorous bastard, Kim Namjoon, for more than a second. They all had a piece to say but they were all morons, Yoongi thought. As he trudged up the last step of the stairs, he looked up and there was you.
Min Yoongi couldn’t believe his own eyes. He thought that it was his sanity breaking down from the physical pain he had been feeling since he parted from you, and decided to play cruel games with him in the form of you. But there was no way that you were actually here, right? There was no way you were standing in the hallway in your sleepwear…right?
On the other hand, you blinked and looked at Yoongi’s pale face. He looked like he was straining to hold himself upright, evidenced by his grip on the stair’s handrail. His hands were shaking and you were worried that any moment now, he would fall.
You were proven correct not even a second later.
You watched as his body swayed, his eyes closed and you were moving before you could even think of the repercussion. Without heeding to any of your friend’s warning about touching them, you stepped in just in time to steady his body. The momentum from his combined weight and the gravity made you stepped back as his head found its place on your shoulder. Your arms instinctively wrapped around his broad back to anchor him to you.
“Daepyonim Min,” you called for his attention, gauging his alertness while tapping your hand on his back with a sense of urgency. “Daepyonim Min, you need help. Let me call-”
“Little one,” you heard him breathed you in before speaking so slowly, a tone of disbelief in his voice. “You’re real, aren’t you?” His hand slowly cupped your cheek, needing to feel you, needing to know if the object of his love was truly here. “How?”
“I’m here…but it’s a long story. First, we need help. You’re not okay!”
“You’re here,” he repeated to himself, his voice that of wonder. “I-I’m okay now,” he replied with so much warmth as he struggled to lift himself up to look at you. “I just need to sleep. It’s been a long ass day,” he groaned, the ache from his head was slowly dissipating from the proximity to you, yet its intensity since they landed was at its highest. He knew it would take him the whole night to recuperate. But somehow, he knew he could do it easily with you by his side. He didn’t even care why you were here, or even how you got here. What was important was you were now here where you belong- with them.
Against your better judgement and completely unaware of the thoughts running in his head, you nodded as you followed his directions to his room. Just like his personality that you knew him of, his room was no non-sense in a way that all things were functional. It was apparent that the man favored minimalism and comfort over luxury. It was clean and uncluttered, with just the essentials neatly arranged. The bed, large and inviting, dominated the room, adorned with crisp white sheets and a fluffy comforter. A single nightstand stood beside it, holding a small lamp and a few books.
You helped him settle onto the bed, arranging the pillows behind him to support his weary body. He let out a contented sigh as he sank into the softness, his eyes closing momentarily in relief as the weariness slightly subdued.
"Thank you," he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper, yet filled with gratitude. His eyes held sincerity and warmth. The way he was looking at you, the way he was holding on to your wrist because he didn’t want to let you go only served as reminders of your guilt. He wouldn’t be acting this way if this was normal circumstances.
Your negligence that day brought you here. And those emotions he was showing you were not real, you reminded yourself.
"You're welcome," you replied softly with utmost sincerity, a gentle yet sad smile playing on your lips. "Do you need anything else before I go?"
He had you now, why would he let you go?
It was his rationale as he pulled you to lie beside him, the surprisingly comfortable bed and his enescapable hold were enough to tire you out, you pushing him away did nothing. Despite your inner turmoil, you found yourself yielding to his pull, sinking onto the bed beside him. The warmth of his body radiated against yours, a stark contrast to the chill of your guilt-ridden thoughts.
And when he whispered for you to stay, you did.
It was barely an hour later when Yoongi was awakened by the annoying buzzing of his phone. He looked at you, a smile tugging on his lips at how your mouth was agape as you slumbered off in his arms. You were just so adorable that he wanted to put you in his pocket. He grinned at that thought. He already felt better.
You were the cure, he was sure.
However, the headache seemed to be returning from the persistent phone calls he was getting. He sighed, picking up his phone carefully to not wake you up only to find out it was a videocall from Taehyung.
“Hyung! Where are you?” his deep voice resounded over the quietness of the room. Yoongi, on the other hand, had to lower the volume immediately.
“Shut up,” he admonished him quietly, careful to not arose you from your sleep.
“Are you…sleeping?! When we’re all worried about you?!” the camera spanned out to Seokjin who was eating calmly, lacking any evidence of worry that Taehyung was claiming while Jungkook was running in the background, looking for Yoongi in every corner and even under the furniture. Meanwhile, Jimin was on his phone trying to rank up on his games.
“Yes, you’re right. It’s clear that you’re all worried about me,” he noted in a deadpanned voice, not believing any bullshit coming from Taehyung’s mouth.
Namjoon entered the frame casually, his eyes taking in his hyung’s rested form. He had an inkling of suspicion as to why. “You look well-rested, hyung,” he stated his observation, his complexion looked healthy in comparison to Taehyung’s. Yoongi raised his brow at that. His initial theory that the span of time spent without you was making them sick only got stronger because of Namjoon’s healthier look.
“Did you find our gift?” Hoseok asked from behind the two men, casually hanging his arms on their shoulders. He was smiling. But his eyes held a certain darkness they usually didn’t have.
“I did. We’ll talk tomorrow, yeah?”
Wednesday, Day 2
“No one told me that we have an adorable new housemate.”
The six sleepy men sitting around the dining table looked up as soon as Park Jimin entered the room, in his arms was a fluffy cat that was actively hissing at him. He cooed down at it, softly stroking the thick fur with his hand that was now sporting claw marks.
“We’re already so close!” he announced with softness in his voice despite the repetitive kicks brought by the furry creature in his arm.
“I don’t think you are liked very much…” Jungkook quietly commented, his doe eyes went even larger at the bleeding scratches on his skin. As if sensing an opportunity to escape, the cat suddenly wriggled free from Jimin's arms and darted across the room, landing squarely in Hoseok's lap.
“Hi, my son! Did you have a good night’s sleep?” he asked affectionately, reaching down to stroke the cat's fur.
“Hyung has a secret son!” Jungkook whispered to Taehyung in a scandalous manner, clutching his nonexistent pearls. Taehyung, who looked like he lived and fought through three wars from his exhausted form and his sluggish movement only nodded at Jungkook.
“Whose cat is that? Is that yours, J-hope?” Jin asked, pointing at the cat with his mug. He didn’t know that they now had a furry housemate. Additionally, he didn’t know that he was a cat person.
Namjoon just smirked at his brothers, “That’s not his.”
“My God, I am so tired,” Jimin sat next to Taehyung, his muscles aching with exhaustion. With a heavy sigh, he leaned his whole weight on his friend, seeking some semblance of comfort in their shared weariness.
"Everything hurts," Taehyung moaned, mirroring Jimin's sentiment. He glanced over at Namjoon, pleading silently for a solution. "We need her. Hyung, please. Do something," he implored, his voice tinged with desperation.
Jungkook finally put down his spoon with a loud thud, standing up to look at them one by one. “Okay, I cannot be the only one curious about whose cat that is!” he pointed at the cat who only meowed back at him before shifting his finger to his hyung who was silently eating with a smile on his face. “And you, why do you look so good this morning, hyung, while the four of us look like we are 3 hours away from passing away?” he asked Yoongi, his doe eyes demanding answers from the chaotic bunch that only turned more chaotic as the morning wore on.
Yoongi, taking a leisurely sip of his coffee, raised an eyebrow at Jungkook's question. His lips curled into a smirk, revealing a hint of amusement. "Well, Kookie, some of us are just naturally blessed with good genes," he quipped, his tone teasing.
“Excuse me?! Are you saying that I am not blessed with good genes?! Me?! The world wide handsome?! Now, you’re just outright lying!”
“Hyuuuuung, do something! I think I’m dying!” Taehyung shouted amidst the noise.
“Stop screaming you’re scaring my son!” Hoseok shot back all while covering the cat’s little ears.
“Whose cat is that even?!” Jungkook asked again in disbelief, the vein in his throat protruding from annoyance and curiosity.
“Oh my God, Taehyung! I already did something, okay?!” Namjoon finally raised his voice for him to hear.
“Ahhhhhhh, my head hurts and she’s the only cure! I have to go to her!” Jimin whined sadly, attempting to leave his chair slowly.
“In that state?!” Jin shouted at Jimin and Taehyung, already feeling the stress causing havoc on his otherwise beautiful face.
But Taehyung and Jimin were already halfway out of their chair, clutching their heads dramatically. "I can't take this anymore! I need her!" he wailed, his eyes darting around the room with desperation only to find you by some miracle.
“Little one…” he called, his voice small as though he couldn’t believe that you were truly there. It was like their pain manifested you, and heavens, it was worth it. He’d willingly go through this pain if it meant seeing you and having you here where you belonged.
With them.
“Good morning, has anyone seen my cat?”
Your voice, despite it being low, was sufficient to effectively stop the bickering among the CEOs. How they heard you amidst their own noise, you didn’t know. One thing was for certain, though. They were attuned to you like lovesick men did. Their eyes were on you with varying emotions. Jungkook was surprised, to say the least. Taehyung and Jimin, on the other hand, were relieved. Yoongi's smirk widened into a grin, his eyes sparkling with delight at the sight of you. Seokjin stared at you in disbelief, as if trying to comprehend how you managed to appear amidst the chaos. Namjoon and Hoseok exchanged a knowing glance, their expressions reflecting a sense of contentment and joy. The pair looked like they secured an extremely important deal and even won the lottery at the same day.
You didn’t see Taehyung moved but you certainly felt how his heavy body fell against yours. You certainly heard his sigh of relief even as he swayed on his feet.
And when you touched his hand to support him, that was when he fell.
Suffice to say, no one made it to the office today.
You were seated beside Taehyung on the sofa, his thighs plastered to yours as though any space was considered a sin. He had your hand tenderly imprisoned in his. On your other side was Jimin who had his head in the vee of your shoulders. You were their medicine, they were sure.
Meanwhile, you were anything but comfortable. You were never really a fan of skinship, always the one who was reserved and preferred physical distance when surrounded by people. And yes, you were aware that thousands, if not millions, would kill to be in your spot right now but that didn’t make you any more receptive to their proximity. You couldn’t move even if you wanted to, not with the way they were watching you.
Especially not with the way Hoseok’s eyebrow raised whenever you even so much as attempted to move. His pointed gaze held you in place, a silent warning against any attempt to flee.
You were stiff. But you knew, and quite frankly you were starting to believe the effectivity and potency of that wretched potion. You already witnessed five of the seven men almost crumbled to the ground from the unbearable pain. There was no way that that was not connected to that potion.
“When did the pain start, Taehyung-ah?” Seokjin asked as he flustered over the younger CEO. He was pouring hot tea for the two agemate, his innate mother instinct surfacing. Despite that, he couldn’t help but look at you with small smile on his lips. He was happy that you were here, truly happy for the first time in ages. It was like his heart calmed down, the darkness slowly vanishing from his mind now that you were in their vicinity. Now, he could just focus on taking care of you
“At around 6 pm…less than 12 hours after little one ran from me,” he finished with his signature pout, turning to you as though he was a puppy you kicked aside and was begging you to take it back. “I was so sad when you ran from me, little one.”
“You also ran from me,” Jimin added, his pouty lips protruding even more as he glared at you. “It deeply wounded me. I am still hurt over that, you know? I woke up so early just to see you.”
“She also ran from me…” Jungkook's voice joined the chorus from his place on the floor with his back leaning on your knees, adding his own layer of disappointment.
“Then why didn’t you say anything?” Namjoon asked the peculiar man in concern, his worry lessening as Taehyung started to gain back his colors.
“Because! Hyung looked sicker than me!” Taehyung response was quick while pointing at Yoongi who was looking at them stoically. He looked bored, except when he turned to look at you and then all of a sudden, he was shooting sweet smile at your direction, his fingers forming heart sign. You blinked owlishly at his sudden display of affection.
“You idiot, he’s just naturally pale!” Seokjin admonished him even as he continued to feed him light snacks.
“Next time, say something when you’re not feeling well,” Hoseok broke his silence, a smile forming on his lips and you just knew it was fake. “Our little one is with us now. We no longer have to suffer, right, sunshine?”
The weight of Hoseok's words hung in the air, wrapped in the softness and faux innocence of his tone. It almost seemed like an innocent question, but you couldn't shake the feeling of caution that settled in the pit of your stomach. After all, it was Hoseok who ensnared you in his web and brought you into this situation.
Seokjin, sensing the tension between the two of you, directed your focus on him. His body was now turned to you, his form relaxed as he offered you a gentle and encouraging smile. “How did you get here, little one?”
“Daepyeonims Kim and Jung-“
“I take back what I said last night. I love you and you’re the best leader anyone could ever have!” Jimin suddenly said, jumping from his seat to cling to the aforementioned CEO. After which, the five of them listened to your retelling of how you got here.
“It’s true that we had an inkling of why we are acting…well, the way we are,” Seokjin noted after a lapse of silence, looking down at his hands as he did so. “It was the only plausible explanation, regardless of how illogical it was.”
“We weren’t- aren’t behaving normally. We thought back to everything that transpired during that day and the only deviation was our interaction with you.,” Namjoon took charge of the explanation, his voice steady and authoritative, as befitting a leader. “At first, the symptoms were bearable to say the least. I even managed to hold off for the whole day until I saw you in the elevator. And even then, I was already suffering. The pain was nothing I ever experienced before. All I could think about was you. All I craved was your presence. All I wanted that whole day was to go to you.”
Yoongi nodded, experiencing firsthand the excoriating pain last night. “Everything was a struggle. It’s like our organs were not functioning properly, like oxygen struggled to enter our lungs no matter how hard we breathed.”
“And you are the cure.”
You lifted your eyes to Park Jimin who sounded serious for the first time this morning. His smile was even missing from his face, but his eyes held genuineness. “You’re the only one we need, little one.”
But instead of feeling relieved, you felt suffocated, overwhelmed by the weight of their dependence on you. The realization that you held the key to their well-being filled you with a sense of panic, the walls closing in around you. You wanted to help them, to ease their suffering, but the burden felt too heavy to bear. With all seven of them relying on you, the pressure threatened to crush you under its weight.
As you struggled to find your voice amidst the chaos, a sense of dread settled in the pit of your stomach. The repercussions of that potion were far greater than you could have ever imagined, and now, you were left to grapple with the consequences. “Until when?”
You untangled Taehyung’s arms from you and moved away despite the whine that left Jimin. You stood up, your back almost to the wall as you regarded them with your eyes. “Until when will you need me?”
“We don’t know, yet, my love,” Namjoon answered truthfully at the same time Taehyung.
“Forever,” his deep voice resounded over the room, the weight of his words heavy in the air.
Silence descended, thick and palpable, as the gravity of the situation settled upon each of you like a suffocating blanket. The only sound was the faint hum of the ventilation system, a stark contrast to the turmoil raging within your mind.
Forever. The word echoed in your ears, reverberating with both promise and dread. The thought of being tethered to them indefinitely sent shivers down your spine, a chilling reminder of the magnitude of their reliance on you.
Jimin shifted uncomfortably, his eyes pleading as he reached out a hand towards you. "Please, don't leave us," he implored, his voice tinged with desperation.
Your shoulders dropped down at his plea. You knew yourself all too well. You had to help them. You had to go at the bottom of this. You were going to be patient.
But patience was never your best suit.
You finally had it at exactly five in the afternoon. See you didn’t even last for 10 hours and you already felt suffocated. Anywhere you went, there would be at least two of them tailing you. Every time you turned to ask for space, they would be flashing you the sweetest smiles you were ever given. Every time you ran into Yoongi, he would blatantly offer you all his stocks; Jin was always seen to be carrying snacks around for you and trying to feed you; Namjoon would always try to herd you in his display room of paintings and sculptures; while Hoseok would always look at you then his phone and order you clothes that you wouldn’t even dream of buying from the price alone.
Meanwhile, the maknae line was always around you, beaming with energy and trying their very best to rizz you up. It was safe to say that they were doing their absolute best to make you lose your composure.
Which is why you abruptly stopped walking, turned around, and glared at the men behind you that almost crashed into each other, including your cat that was following you around the house.
“May I help you?” you asked, your brow raised as you waited for their answer as they looked at each other.
“Yes, little one. You definitely can help us. Let’s go over there and cuddle!” Jimin smiled angelically at you as he pointed upstairs to what you assumed was his room. See, this man looked so harmless. In fact, you thought he looked the sweetest among the seven, but his eyes could never fool you. You physically saw someone blushed so hard when he smiled at them, his eyes crinkling into crescents as he brushed his hair up like he was fond of doing.
On the other hand, Taehyung, ever the agreeable companion to Jimin, nodded vigorously, his boxy smile widening as he looked at you expectantly. Jungkook was bouncing on his feet, excited with the prospect that he got to have you in his arms despite his inability to meet your eyes at the moment.
Wednesday Evening, Day 2
“We need to talk,” you huffed as you pushed the three men inside what you assumed was the common room of this huge mansion.
Seokjin, who was already inside the room and enthusiastically playing his game, rapidly turned it off despite obviously winning to give you all his attention. His back was straightened after kicking his gaming console away. The way he was looking at you made you blushed, but you were deathly determined to not show it. You were terrified that if you gave in even an inch, then these men would gladly take a mile. You couldn’t let yourself drown in this scenario, and most of all, you shouldn’t let yourself fall for them.
These were just effects of that wretched potion. None of these were real.
“Yes, little one? What’s on your mind?” Namjoon’s voice suddenly disrupted your thoughts as he walked in the room, his posture relaxed. He intentionally brushed against your side, his hard muscles softly swaying your soft one, satisfying the call inside him to have you near him. He leaned against the table where Hoseok and Yoongi were working. They both gave you their attention as soon as you declared that conversation needed to be had.
“Speak your mind, sunshine,” Hoseok urged you gently with a smile on his face as though he didn’t terrify you the night before. Your eyes lingered on him, still unable to read his true personality. Or which among the versions he showed you were his realest?
Yoongi nodded when he saw you hesitated, giving you assurance you obviously needed to continue.
“I need space.”
Cue the tears from Jungkook, chaos from Taehyung and Jimin, rapid reasoning from Seokjin, dramatic clutching of heart from Yoongi partnered with a deathly glare to the who he assumed made you say those wretched word; maknae line, clenched of jaw from Namjoon and deafening silence from Hoseok. Despite the expected mixed reaction, one emotion rose above them all.
Panic.
As though they had one mind, the six CEOs turned to look at Namjoon, a plead for him to make sense of what was happening and to fix this for them. It was obvious that they needed you like air, if not more. Their survival hinged on you, and that was not even an overstatement.
Seokjin, ever perceptive, sensed the uncharacteristic struggle within the lead CEO. Namjoon’s jaw was clenched, a sure sign of his struggle to maintain composure in the face of the unexpected. In a move only Seokjin could execute with dramatic flair, he jumped away from you, creating a symbolic distance that echoed your plea. He was pointedly looking at the expanse of space between of the two of you as though this was what you meant when you knew he understood what you truly meant by space.
“There, little one,” Seokjin spoke softly, his voice carrying a weight that resonated through the room. His eyes were dark that held a mix of understanding and yet, a stubborn determination. “Space.”
You sighed, looking up at the peculiar-looking chandelier you just knew was Taehyung’s idea. “That’s not what I meant-”
“Then what do you mean?” Taehyung cut you off, his earlier tirade and childlike rebellion with his agemate were nowhere to be found and instead, who stood before you was an entirely different man. Had you looked closer, then perhaps you would have seen the swirling darkness in his eyes.
“You know we’d die without you. Why are you doing this?” Yoongi, who was still clutching his heart, spoke lowly. His eyes that you thought to be always emotionless were brimming with sadness. His words tugged at your heart.
But if they just let you speak, then they’d understood-
“Is that what you want?” Hoseok asked monotonously, and this time he didn’t look like the lively and full of sunshine CEO. This time, he looked like a dangerous man who was about to go off. He lifted his dark brow before standing up and circling to where you were. He was close, too close and yet, none of him was touching you. The height difference between the two of you made him seemed more intimidating as he leaned down to meet your eyes. “You want us to die, is that it? Hmm?”
“No-“
“Then what?”
“I just need space for myself-“
“But noona! I need you. We need yo-“
You turned to glare at Jungkook who actively gulped when he saw the daggers in your eyes. “Can you let me speak? Can you all let me finish?”
“Yes, noona. Sorry, noona. You’re so beautiful, noona,” he rapidly said as he formed hearts with his fingers, his smile was lovely as though he didn’t just annoy you.
“All of you,” Namjoon’s commanding voice echoed in the room, his draconic eyes set on you even as he addressed his brothers. “Sit down and let little one talk.”
Once they were all settled in with the five men sitting on the sofa, Yoongi not moving from his seat, and Namjoon standing tall- a deliberate choice, you thought, to let you know that you might have the floor but he still held the reins, you started explaining to them how you could not do this if it meant that you wouldn’t have any time for yourself. In order to leave this house once this was all over with your sanity intact, then you had to have rules and regulations like civil men did.
Yoongi's eyes narrowed slightly, as if assessing your resolve. Jin shifted in his seat, his expression unreadable. Hoseok glanced between you and Namjoon, silently absorbing the tension. Taehyung and Jungkook remained quiet, their eyes fixed on you, waiting for your conditions. Jimin scoffed lightly.
“What do you propose?” Jimin asked, his velvet smooth voice seemed to be innocent had you not known that he identified as a Slytherin.
“2 hours each. I think that since there are seven of you, that would be 14 hours of my day-“
“Dibs to the remaining 10 hours!” Yoongi suddenly said, his hand shooting up and his face held determination and a hint of mischief. The room fell silent, all eyes turning to Yoongi as he leaned back comfortably in his chair, a sly grin playing on his lips.
Jimin raised an eyebrow, his expression unreadable for a moment before a smile tugged at the corner of his mouth. "Bold move, Yoongi," he remarked, his tone light but edged with amusement. "I, myself, am also vying for those ten hours, little one."
Yoongi shrugged nonchalantly, uncaring of what Jimin was saying. "I know what I want," he stated simply, crossing his arms as he leaned back further in his seat, looking supremely confident. “And anyway, now that I had her in my arms last night, I really don’t think I can sleep alone, anymore.”
“Excuse me?!” Taehyung stood up, facing Yoongi with disbelief in his face. “How did that happen-”
“Does being the oldest not mean anything anymore?!”
“You might as well step on me, hyung! You might as well kick me where it hurts the most- oh wait! You did!”
You shook your head as maknae line plus Seokjin screamed at each other. Meanwhile, Hoseok was trying to keep the peace. Namjoon was the only one who kept on watching you, his mind going over an overdrive as to how to resolve this all while maintaining their leverage over you and keeping you happy.
“Fine, we accept.”
They all turned to Namjoon, their eyes comically large at how easy their leader agreed. “We do?” Hoseok asked.
“Either that or lose her. Or die. So yes, we agree. In return, within those two hours of your undivided attention, you’ll cater to our every need.”
You blinked owlishly at what he said. And also, did he have to say that like that?!
“F-fine! But those ten hours will truly be mine, okay?”
“What will you even do within those ten hours, noona?” Jungkook asked innocently, his doe eyes brimming with curiosity.
“Shower, sleep, eat, meditate so as to not lose my mind-“
“But why can’t we do all those things together?” Jimin whined, swaying his body in emphasis of his desire to be included.
“Because! That’s private-“
“But we’re close!” Jungkook added, his eyes wide and earnest.
“Oh my God, you idiot,” you heard Seokjin murmured under his breath, disappointed and quite frankly, embarrassed by the youngest’s stubbornness.
“Two hours start when?” Hoseok finally asked something that could be answered logically.
“7 in the morning and ends at 9 in the evening.”
Thursday morning, Day 3
“Rise and shine, my one and only!”
Your room was gently engulfed by light as Kim Seokjin opened the door at exactly 7 in the morning. He was still wearing his blue pajamas and in his hands was a tray with what looked to be a delectable mug of coffee. You blinked your sleepiness away as he stepped in the room. He carefully placed the tray on your bedside table, before cupping your cheeks in between his hands and pressing a soft kiss to your forehead.
Okay.
That woke you up.
His gesture was unexpected, and it most probably showed on your face from the way he chuckled as he booped your nose.
“Ah, you’re so beautiful even in the morning, little one!” He exclaimed before stepping back and flicking the curtains open further, letting even more sunlight stream into the room. How was this fair, you wondered. How could he look so perfect and put-together even when he was still in his sleepwear? You glanced at the mirror on the wall and was horrified to see how opposite you looked to the man who just declared that you were so beautiful in the morning.
If you didn’t believe in the effectivity of the potion before, then you definitely did now. Your hair was all over the place and you had sleep in your eyes.
And oh my God, was that a dried drool on the side of your lips?!
You immediately made yourself presentable the best you could before Seokjin sat on your bed, lifting his own mug to his lips…his very plump lips. He was unfazed by your awkward demeanor.
“I am so glad I have this schedule. Nothing beats spending the morning with you,” he murmured warmly, his eyes shining with sincerity and love(?) “I made breakfast, little one. Get ready and come down, okay?”
It was quarter to eight when you finally joined him in the patio where he set up the breakfast. He was already dressed for work like you, his hair now sleeked up. Also, how could a forehead look that good? Did that even make any sense?!
He turned to you and smiled. His eyes traced your form before standing. He gently tugged you in his arms, completely engulfing you within him. You could hear his heart and hoped that he couldn’t hear yours; it was definitely embarrassing how fast yours was beating in comparison to his. You weren’t really used to being physically close to anyone, let alone your CEOs that you never had personal interactions with before this.
“I didn’t put on at tie yet because I wanted us to match,” he easily shared in your ear before guiding you to your seat as though what he did was not meant to make your heart beat faster.
You looked at all the mouthwatering dishes he prepared and wondered just how long he had been awake for. “Where are the others?” you hadn’t seen nor heard any of them in the house and you wondered if they had already eaten.
Seokjin merely smiled at you before artfully cutting pieces of the croissant he made for you and putting them on your plate. “Little one, it’s my time. You’re mine.”
“For two hours…” you added, suddenly feeling ominous by the way he worded his schedule and his dark eyes despite the sweet and seemingly harmless smile he was sporting.
“Sure.”
After he dropped you off in your office wherein he held your hand all the way from the car until he delivered you to your office chair, he planted a kiss on the back of your hand despite your reluctance. You couldn’t help but noticed the grip he had on you, nor the way he looked around the office and glared at any men glancing your way.
And of course, everyone in the office saw.
At exactly 9:01 am, a bouquet of flower was sent to your office. The sender? None other than Jung Hoseok himself.
He was sure to be punctual, not wasting any second off his scheduled time. He thought that time was gold, and he wanted nothing more since he woke up to be with you.
Sufficed to say, Jung Hoseok craved you so bad.
Your eyes widened from the sunflowers to him as he flashed you his sunny smile as though he didn’t scare you the past days with his warnings. “For the most beautiful part of my day.”
You could hear the murmurs of your officemates, and you were already dreading the gossips that would surely come. You wondered how they would look at you once this was all over. For sure, you’d be the laughing stock of the ton.
You most probably have to resign…
“Darling?”
“I’m sorry, what?”
Hoseok tilted his head as he leaned in you, his hand on your armrest. This close and you could smell him. And heavens. He smelled heavenly. He smelled clean and crisp, like the subtle touch of ocean breeze. This close and you could see how perfect his features were, how harmoniously proportionate they were. This close and you could see the darkness he always kept in bay.
“What are you thinking?”
“N-nothing-“
“Tell me,” he demanded gently, his eyes trained on your lips like no one was looking, like you and him were existing in your own world where no one could touch you and take you away from him.
Where no one could take you away from them.
“I-“
“Good morning! I have great, great news!”
Your friend breezed into the office, fashionably late as usual, her face lit up with excitement. The room buzzed with curious glances as she made her way to her desk, her eyes searching until they landed on yours. The grin she was sporting faltered off as the CEO turned to her with an expression she didn’t like before it all went away and Hoseok flashed her a smile.
“G-good morning, Daepyeonim Jung.”
“Good morning,” he answered cheerfully, fully straightening up and granting you the much-needed space to catch your breath. “What’s your good news?”
She looked at you, and only when you nodded did she whisper the news that her grandmother knew someone from the mountains that had the answer and solution. Her voice was hushed enough that your coworkers couldn’t hear her, yet clear enough to give you hope. Your grin was so wide as you stood up and hugged her.
It was only when you turned to Hoseok to share your happiness did you notice something unsettling. His expression had darkened briefly, a shadow passing over his features before he hastily composed himself with a bright smile.
What was that?
Before you could dwell on that, he declared it good news and pulled you out of the office.
You found yourself standing in the middle of his office as he plopped down on his chair, stack of paper on his table that grew in size from missing yesterday’s work. He seemed busy, yet he was looking expectedly at you. His eyes were serious as he gestured for you to come closer.
It was apparent he wasn’t happy with the distance when you decided to stop three feet away from him. His eyes remained impassive as he sighed and without any warning, pulled you to him. You landed on his surprisingly muscular lap, your hands automatically going to his shoulders in an effort to steady you.
Your eyes widened at his actions and any attempt to stand up was squashed by his ironlike grip around you.
“Didn’t you promise you’d cater to our every need when we agreed on that ridiculous two-hour schedule?”
“And having me on your lap is a need?!”
“It is. I want- no. I need you close,” and only when he confessed did you see the miniscule tremors in his hands. He was nuzzling his face on your neck, breathing in the scent he missed so much. Your soft skin against his touch somehow calmed the demons. If he was already like this despite you seeing him last night, then it meant that their symptoms were worsening like what your friend warned you of. The more time you spent with them and the more that your skins touched meant that their lovesickness would only worsen in time.
You were dreading to think what would happen to the remaining CEOs and how they would act, more so when Jimin and Namjoon were in the last two.

no bc just imagine how sexually frustrated miguel would be after chasing you around like cat and mouse… the breeding has entered the chat
cw. nsfw, afab!reader, breeding kink, creampies, hair pulling, degradation, overstimulation, a bit of manhandling, improper use of webs *not proofread, just pure horny
[I want him so bad why can't he be real 😔😔😔]
MINORS DNI!!
Tumblr media
he's getting tired of this, but your pretty eyes and soft lips draw in him each time he swore that he wouldn't fall for your games. as tired as he is, he always lets you get away with it.
letting you get away with it a little too easily. though now he's stopped his chasing, trying to keep himself occupied to stop himself from playing into your games. he can feel your eyes on him, burning into his back as he continues working through anomaly reports.
as you tried to sneak up on him, you felt something spread across your chest, wrapping around your arms. with a sharp tug, miguel pulled you into him. you collided with his chest, a hand holding his webs and a hand on your lower back. you struggled against the webs, only making him spread more around you.
miguel quickly tugged your mask off, a smirk playing on his lips as he saw the shock written on your face. "not so tough now, huh?" you struggled against the webs again, trying to pull yourself away from him. "don't try and run from me now, you earned this."
miguel let out a grunt, pushing you up against his desk. he pressed a heavy hand to your back, webbing your wrists together. with little to no care, his talons rip through the crotch of your spider suit. the cloth is torn to shreds on the platform. "you've been nothing but a pain in the ass,"
miguel takes in the sight of you bound in crimson webs and bent over his desk. "a real thorn in my side." you try to peer over your shoulder only for miguel to press your head down to his desk. "we're not done til I say we're done." he disengages his suit with a flash, grinding his throbbing cock through your folds.
"you're lucky I'm even letting you have my cock." he says this yet he's just as needy for you as you are for him. the back and forth, the pushing and pulling, the cat and mouse games; he loves them but sometimes all he really wants is to web you up and fuck you til your legs give out.
and that is exactly what he's going to do. miguel lets his own fantasies and desires lead him, letting himself act on his impulses. miguel bottomed out in one sharp thrust, your walls convulsing and tightening around him as he fucked you. each thrust was heavier than the last, hips hips knocking you up further onto his desk.
with the hand pushing your face into his desk, he's tangling his fingers into your hair, pulling your head back as he rocked his hips into yours. you can't get words out because of how rough his pace is. miguel set a hand on your hip, using it to pull your ass back on his dick.
every thrust in and pull back forced his cock deeper, stretching your walls to accommodate his size. you're practically seeing stars shoot across your vision, mouth hanging open with each moan and cry that leaves you breathier than the last. with how easily miguel is leading you to orgasm, you know that you're not getting out of this for a while.
"only the first and you're already this fuckin' messy, huh?" the condescending tone makes your pussy flutter, as miguel tracks a finger over your pulsing clit. he rubs circles against the throbbing bud as you tumble head first into another orgasm. "m-miggy-" the words are caught in your throat, being passed by lewd cries and heavy moans.
your slick is gushing around his cock, and the wet noises of skin on skin finally make it to your ringing ears. miguel pushes your head against his desk again, grunting as he speeds through his release. it's a flood of warmth as miguel keeps his pace, groaning as much cum spills out of you. "fuck, look at you. such a messy little thing."
you can't tell up from down as miguel guides you to another orgasm. you're trying to alleviate the heavy plows of his hips by raising to your toes, but it only motivates miguel to go even harder, as if he's trying to knock the sense out of you. your eyes are blurring with tears, the stinging of the overstimulation starting to bite.
in a feeble attempt at pushing miguel away, he pins your wrists against your back. he uses it as more leverage to pull you back on his cock, letting another heavy load paint your walls white. "it's okay, take it just like that." the moans he's letting out are deep and guttural, a noise you would've missed if you weren't being drowned in his mere presence.
you're struggling against the webs again, the tingle of the overstimulation reaching new heights. miguels superhuman nature granted him increased stamina and endurance, making it easy for him to ride out his second high while you're crashing through your third. "c'mon now, is that all you got?"
you outwardly whine at his words, pushing your hips back to meet him halfway. miguel leans down, his chest to your back as he kisses up your neck. his fangs pushed against your skin, lightly grazing it with a featherlike pressure. it's as if he's teasing the idea that he could sink his teeth in. he very much could but he wants you to feel everything that he's doing to you.
he's got you trapped, and he doesn't intend on letting you go any time soon.

Asking to Sketch Them
Tumblr media
---
*cough* I forgot this series was a thing I was doing uwu
---
DIASOMNIA
Malleus Draconia
"Oh? How bold of you to think you could capture my visage in a mere canvas."
He says with the goofiest smile imaginable(⌒▽⌒)
He's already summoning a chair to sit on
Very experienced with posing so it's a breeze
You have a nice chat about philosophy, gargoyles and culture while you draw him
When you're done he's fangirling internally
Asks if he can commission you to draw a portrait of the both of you tgt
Hangs it up in his room <3
Becomes a regular commissioner
Mostly gargoyles
10/10 honestly nothing bad to say he's lovely
Lilia Vanrouge
"Fufufu, I've been in thousands of portraits over the years, you'll have to try your hardest to really impress me~ No pressure though!"
100% pressure once again
The old bat man will probably be hanging from the ceiling no negotiating
So it's either you draw him upside down or get upside down too
If you choose the second option you best hope no one walks in on you cuz damn wtf
How are you doing that you aren't even using magic???
When you're finished he jumps down and looks and goes
"How nice! Art has truly evolved so much since the last time I had one done~"
Starts showing you some of the portraits he had before like he's showing you baby pics
One of them has him looking like those medieval babies TT
4/10 I can't explain why I'm not giving him a lower score he's just funky
Silver
"No problem. If I fall asleep you can just wake me up, I won't mind."
He doesn't have much experience in posing but he's a natural
He's lookin like a disney princess fr, animals have started gathering
You're having a pleasant chat abou-
Oop he fell asleep
You think about waking him up but like
He looks so peaceful and like he's not even really moving so-
By the time you're done he's probably up and he starts apologizing
Tbh it's Silver so it would've been beautiful whether he was awake or asleep
Bonus points if you include the woodland critters snuggling into him
Human anatomy AND animal anatomy practice!!
9/10 he tried his best and it did turn out well
Sebek Zigvolt
"I DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR THIS HUMAN! MY VALUABLE TIME IS SPENT GUARDING AND PROTECTING THE HONOUR OF THE GLORIOUS YOUN-"
once again someone kiss him and shut him up omg
Or actually just show him the Malleus portrait he'll shut up
Yeah you have to do Malleus first if you wanna draw him
Stiff like a ramrod his face looks constipated
Ask him a question about his young master and he forgets he's being drawn in exactly 3 seconds
His face really lights up as he talks about him it's kinda cute
By the time you're done he's probably still talking so interrupt in a speech break
Thinks you did a good job and asks for some advice with art
Then starts trying to buy the malleus portrait off of you
I should've tried harder to not make 80% of his just him talking about the dragon boi but it's really hard cuz he's just him TT
7/10 he's not that bad but your ears are bleeding

Off to See the Wizard (5)
previous | next
It takes you over an hour to get your brain online because after that talk at breakfast, John walked you to your office and kissed you. It was a kiss on the cheek, but still.
His lips.
Your skin.
Your brain short-circuted.
There was no way to deny it, even to yourself: Captain John Price was interested. In you. Romantically.
You try to shove the little gleeful voice - the one with crushes on all your boys - to the side so you can work. But she keeps chirping about the kiss. About how his beard felt, rough and soft at the same time. About how warm his lips were. About the promise look in his eyes as he pulled back and whispered, "'Til later, dove"
You finally put the kiss in a box of 'Things to Deal With Later' and focus on digging back through mission intel again. You flag two items to bring up with Laswell and a third to follow-up with John about. You're not sure how a closed door meeting with the captain will go after this morning's display, and you pray he's better at separating work and play than you.
You find your groove and are startled by a knock at your office door. You glance at the clock and see it's nearly 2. After being so rattled by John's admission, you'd gotten into the zone and practically missed lunch. You almost expect it's going to be one of your boys. You don't know if you want them to come to you or not.
You're surprised to find Corporal Avery on the other side. "Ma'am," she inclines her head politely. "Cap'n Price wanted to make sure you ate. Told me to help you find the mess and said to tell you, 'I know you're a big girl, but you haven't tried to find your way around on your own yet.' 'm supposed to let you lead and correct the path if necessary." She looks apologetic as she says it, like she understands the ridiculous nature of the command, but since it is a command, she's going to follow it.
You close up your workspace and follow the corporal into the hall where she lets you take the lead. You're loathe to admit you probably need the guide as the corporal corrects your directions at least twice. At least she's polite about it. "Almost got it, ma'am. Another trip and you won't need help at all."
Lunch is a quiet affair as most of the mess has already cleared out. Corporal Avery stays with you but tells you she ate with her squad earlier. "Don't want you to eat alone," she says. "Besides, I wanna make sure you've got the route between your office and food down pat as my guess is your barracks, your office, and the mess are where you'll spend time while the 141 is on mission."
You hadn't given much thought to what you'd do when the boys are gone, but it strikes you suddenly how lonely things will be. You only know your boys, and now Corporal Avery, but that doesn't leave much for socialization when they're away. "Hey, Corporal? Is there someplace on base - besides the mess - people hang out? Like, I dunno, a base rec room or something?"
She looks at you for a long moment, her brow furrowed in question before a look of understanding passes over her face. "Uh, yeah. There are a few. I'd be happy to show you where they are, introduce you to a few other soldiers and civilian employees." You smile gratefully at her, glad she picked up your subtext. "We can do it after the 141 are gone."
The latter part of your day is spent contemplating Corporal Avery's comment to you. You'd been a little surprised when she hadn't offered to show you to the base common spaces sooner, so you asked. She floored you when she admitted she could but "thought, what with them leaving, you'd like to spend as much time as possible with Captain Price first."
Are your desires, or his, that obvious? Certainly she'd seen the two of you together in the hallway that morning, but that couldn't have been enough for her to draw the conclusions she was drawing, was it? And if so, is she telling other people? Does the whole base know? Does the rest of the 141?
You know you're spiraling, but you can't seem to stop yourself. It takes a series of repeated knocks at your door and someone calling your name for you to come back to yourself. You see it's about 7:00 and expect this is someone - Corporal Avery or one of the boys - come to drag you to dinner.
You open your office door and see Simon standing in the hall. He's still wearing a mask, but you see enough of his eyes to tell he's smiling. "Evenin' luv," he says, stepping up beside you. "Ready for a meal?" You nod at him and start walking toward the mess, ready to show him you can find you way without getting lost.
As you walk, he matches your stride and casually drapes an arm over your shoulder. "Look a' ya, already a natural on base. 'S like you belong here." You beam at the praise and don't miss the way his arm tightens ever so slightly at his last comment.
"Like havin' you 'ere, luv," he says, so quietly you can act like you didn't hear it. And you're tempted to ignore it because that's a lot easier than dealing with what it might mean. When your silence stretches too long, however, Simon slows you both down. "D'ya like bein' 'ere?"
You give an enthusiastic, if non-committal, "Of course!"
"D'ya like bein' with me?"
You're almost at the mess, can see the door from here, but you stop dead in your tracks at his question. "What?" you squeak out.
Simon turns to look directly in your eyes. The emotion in his gaze is raw: desire, fear, vulnerability. He searches you long enough you feel he's looking at your soul. "I need to know, luv, if ya like me."
You try to go for a quip, but it dies on your lips. You whisper, "I'm not sure what you want me to say, Simon. I'm not sure what to do here."
He looks pained when he pleads, "Say ya wan' me like I wan' you."
And for the second time today, your brain simply stops responding.
