karkat is Not a fan (and his sweatpants drawstrings are only violet because eridan bought them and switched them out and karkat can't un-switch them without getting apoplectically pissed off by that stupid little string that won't go through the holes)

The thing with people claiming that “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” is a genocidal chant is that no amount of explaining will convince them that it isn’t because most people making this claim don’t actually believe it’s a call for genocide. Just like the labeling of anything Palestinian as “Hamas”, insistence that being antizionist makes you antisemitic, assertion that Israeli settlers are killed but Palestinians simply die, etc., it is deliberate language used to dehumanize Palestinians and frame Israelis as victims, or at the very least, passive, despite their massive arsenal of US-funded/supplied weapons. Since its beginning in 1948, the settler colony Israel has used language to control the narrative and this is no different.

this WIP was my explorations of Siren!Despair for @moorishflower 's WDS series.

I think I wanted to make her a combo of a Lamprey, a Remora, and the Pokemon Mawhile XD. I liked the idea of her having this big nightmare fuel mouth on her back. I couldn't quite figure out how to make it look natural tho.

The idea was she could latch onto a human lost in the ocean and weigh them down. This was also how she would hunt the sea creatures she preyed upon for food.

I also made her slightly smaller than the other endless . This was so she could hitch a ride on Desire when she wanted to.

I might have made her too small in this drawing. but you get the idea! :D

Do we think odysseus started pranking Athena and her temples at some point? Because I do. He argued that it was good for sneaking and evading training. And you know what Athena couldn't argue that. Her chasing odysseus across the island was good training.

Because it often comes up re The Calamity and Ludinus I did do some looking into the history of the phrase "History is written by the victors" and, spoiler alert: there is some accuracy to it, but it is REALLY popular among people who were, I think it's fair to say, wrong and should not have been writing history (eg: the Confederacy)
