I've spent my life loving those who didn't love me back. When I found you, I felt loved. Yet, the love I thought was real turned out to be just a fleeting illusion.

I was rereading your amazing AUs and a thought occurred to me. The main divergent difference between the two aus, Painted and Distorted, is if Tommy kills Tubbo or not.
But, Ranboo had been the one to pay for help, which had everyone arrive to help stop Dream.
Perhaps earlier in the Distorted timeline there was a word or action that made the difference between Ranboo getting help or not (Or just plot reasons), but what would have happened if everyone had shown up after Tommy killed Tubbo?
Oughh Some strange neutral route would happen i guess…
This would be the only au where Dream is imprisoned instead of killed, since Tommy is too shocked and wouldn’t have let go of Tubbo. I think Tubbo would still be revived eventually, clingy would be on better terms. Tommy isn’t left to fester so he’s in a better state than in Di but worse than in Pi. Neutral middle route sskdhdj

The illusions of childhood are necessary experiences: a child should not be denied a balloon just because an adult knows that sooner or later it will burst.

Radagon and Rennala: seduction and betrayal
I saw a lot of posts about Rennala and Radagon/Marika being genuinely in love with each other and etc but I have a different perspective on their relationships
It was literally my first thought when I learned their story.
So, what do we have?
Radagon couldn't defeat Rennala, so he married her instead and they vowed
Her children didn't show interest in being her heir. Radahn was loyal to the Order and held the stars, Rykard was the inquisitor, Ranni was chosen as the Empyrean and cared about her fate among the stars. Rennala's sister Rellana, her potential successor, rejected the title and was in a different realm
All threats to the Golden Order were eliminated and Godfrey was banished, but Rennala still could be their problem. And what is the main weapon of sorcerers? Their intelligence. But not anymore if their mind will be damaged.
In her youth, Rennala was a prominent champion who charmed the academy with her lunar magic, becoming its master. She also led the Glintstone Knights and established the house of Caria as royalty. (Remembrance of the Full Moon Queen)
Without her mind, she will lose her power and influence. Without Rennala's charms she wouldn't be able to keep her position. But most importantly — she wouldn't do anything about their newly broken vow. But do you seriously believe one broken heart could be enough?
Radagon gave her the Great Rune of the Unborn. Why?
Unborn demigods. What if Rennala was pregnant but lost her unborn child, so the Rune kept her hyperfixation to born another child? But the Rune is for the demigods, so maybe that's why her "children" are all frail and short-lived (and Bock too, but not our main character because we are the main character), so the Rune keeps her busy, but she cannot do something important with it
What if the Rune was used on Rennala too? What if the Rune had some influence on her and that's why she lost her mind becoming obsessed with rebirth?
So we have Rennala, once fearsome queen, who lost her influence and support, because her mind was broken and she couldn't hold her charms. The civil war started and Liurnia is not a threat anymore. Technically, Rennala is still acting queen and headmistress, but she can't do anything in her current state and has no one to be the next carian queen and fix the mess
Why do I think Marika/Radagon could do that? Well, what shows us that Marika couldn't? She destroyed everything that wasn't in her vision of her perfect Order, she banished Godfrey and his army when she had no need of their forces anymore. But with the dlc we also know about "seduction and betrayal". The game still doesn't explain to us what exactly this means, but if Marika used hornsents' trust to reach her godhood and betrayed them why not use this tactic again and again

there really does need to be a queer person in the writers' room on every show with queer characters, if only to explain how to better describe 'profound' relationships.
bc this happens all the time with showrunners fumbling for ways to describe a not-necessarily-sexually-prioritized relationship between same-sex characters
it's like somewhere in our evolution 'straight' men forgot that you can express your Profound Emotions with sex or other physical ways just to experience closeness and love.
like sexual attraction can evolve from profound emotions. they aren't inherently mutually exclusive. you can have two people who aren't initially attracted to each other and then over the course of knowing each other attraction blooms from simply caring for that person.
it's wild that ppl don't get that. is it a straight person thing? Do you have to be horny for a person from the go or it doesn't count?
like i'm absolutely serious, there needs to be studies on this phenomenon. there's something here in the miscommunication of what love can look like that is fucking fascinating.

Shine….✨
A rising star, long overdue, awakens
Unshackling words, like a mother whale's haunting melody
Echoes of truth, resonating through the expanse
Soulful whispers, carried on the winds of transformation
