This au takes place around the time of sigurd's logs/before them (i haven't decided if Sigurd's crew exists here or not yet)!

Siffrin was someone who used to live on the Golden Planet before it got eaten. They may not remember anything beyond being found in an escape pod, but they're still paralyzed by fear when getting close to the selling window. He's always first in the facilities, making jumps, braving traps, and heading as deep as he can for scrap.

Mirabelle and Isabeau are the medic and fighter respectively, who both came from the same moon colony. They were both pressured into taking jobs by a work-based society, and applied for the company under the impression that it was a short, high-paying internship with nebulous risks.

Odile is their resident ship manager. She keeps a watchful eye over everyone and relays information about monsters, scrap, etc. In absolutely dire situations, she may come help with scrap. Despite claiming to be a first-timer, her badge says Leader??

Nille and Bonnie ended up with the crew after taking a chance to run away from their parents. Seeing a high-paying job that provided everything and would take them far away sounded too good to pass up. Nille lied about Bonnie's age to take them with her. After seeing the reality of this job, though, she regrets not finding another way out. Bonnie is permanently on ship-duty; they mainly type in whatever numbers Odile tells them. Nille is also a fighter, though she prefers the weighty stop sign as opposed to Isabeau's shovel.

Loop, after hundreds upon thousands of quotas, dying every possible death, learning everything they could- even the real identity of The Company- realizes there was one thing they've never done before. They've never died to The Company. Desperate for a way out, and haunted by the whispers and screams beyond the wall, they give themselves up. Maybe that would finally satisfy the monster- to have devoured every last piece of the Golden Planet. Maybe their crew could finally rest easy that way. Well, they didn't loop back. But through the dark and damp, there's static on the walkie talkie. Loop picks up, and hears their own voice just beyond the wall.

(Loop's design is the most different by far, since instead of consuming a star, they themselves are slowly getting digested. They're inspired by the visual of red crying faces from the logs :D)

the other day my partner and i got boba and they finished isat so i wanted to draw siffrin with boba to celebrate but then i was compelled to draw them and loop in my clothes again and iiiiiiiiiiit quickly spiraled out of control once i thought 'it'd be funny to give him the springtrap shirt' so sorry for the accidental fnaf lore dump? mirabelle would like fnaf you can't change my mind on this her favorite is withered chica. this is my soapbox rant idk

messier doodle pages feat. mostly loop because i'm thinking about the body horror of it all... amongst other things.

... at least one of those things being. hey. unrelated to this doodle page. how many months was siffrin travelling with the party? It wasn't that many, right? How many loops would it take before they'd've been in the house longer than they had even been with them? Much to think about!

funny thing about aus in which another one of the party joins the loops with siffrin is that, while the others are 10x more likely to mention the loops, i cant imagine any of them would go to siffrin first.

hey you know what. when I think about the in rot and infection au sometimes i give myself psychic damage. like i'll apply it to a concept where one of the other party members are looping, and realize, on account how siffrin starts the first loop in irai, he's kinda just doomed no matter which angle you take it from. which is a major ouch, especially for me.

like oh he got crushed by rock? yeah you have to save him from getting crushed next time. by the way turns out he's also infected. whoops. full of pourirr disease now.

irai!odile specifically is the only one who has the nerve to bash their head in and make them loop back, so if it's an odile looping au, she has to deal with having to do that every loop. and if it's anybody else they have to deal with potentially watching her do that.

AHAHA IT WOULD ESPECIALLY BE BAD IF IT WAS A BONNIE LOOPING AU. y'all that is an entire preteen right there, and odile does what she does without taking that into consideration. like first they're in a time loop, and frin got crushed. now it turns out frin has pourrir disease, and is dangerous. then dile runs up and bashes his head in, effectively killing him in however many strikes it would take her.

CAN YOU??? FREAKING??? IMAGINE THAT??? HOW BONNIE WOULD FEEL??? OR EVEN MIRABELLE OR ISABEAU IF THEY'RE THE LOOPER INSTEAD FOR THAT MATTER??? LIKE AT LEAST SIFFRIN LOOPS BACK FROM THAT, BUT EVERYONE ELSE HAS TO DEAL WITH THE AFTERMATH.

also pretty messed up of me to take Siffrin, notorious disliker of change, and then drop a weird sickness that forces drastic changes to his body (in a remarkably short span of time all things considered) on him. and he has to loop back from that every time he's infected.

he'll reset, sure. but now he also has to deal with knowing he might change like that again every time he loops. the effect that might have on him. seriously.

anyway yeah irai's running around in circles in my brain, the thoughts this thing provokes my god. highly recommend applying it to different concepts to see what emotional damage you can get out of it, especially with bonnie or isabeau. I didn't talk about isabeau here but him dealing with infected siffrin is. oough. ouch.

& by the way i literally CONSTANTLY think about how loop uses the partys titles to create distance to remind themself that those arent 'their versions' of them. that theyre not loops party anymore. and yet and yet and yet
