Just had a dumb idea to do a historical raid night where everyone uses old strats for things rather than all the streamlined powercreep stuff we do now. Things like having designated shard/agony kiters for Cairn, a tower team during Escort, rotating for all phases of VG, updrafts for Gorseval, etc etc. Kinda miss doing all those things tbh, could be fun to see them in action again. ;-;
#i appreciate the efficiency and ability to ignore certain mechanics nowadays#however also consider: i'm a raid boomer and miss doing niche shit#though now that i think of it that might be a comprehensive list of everything#because some fights never changed strats just the squad comps for them#and we can't necessarily recreate old comps because of major balance changes :c#obnoxious tourist simulator

Queer Indian Media: A Compilation
A couple of days ago, @impala124 sent @lurkingshan an ask about the lack of discussion about Queer Indian Media in fandom spaces. I wrote about it here, @neuroticbookworm here, and @waitmyturtles here (both of them have excellent points, I highly recommend you read their posts!). It's become quite apparent that people are willing to watch and engage in discourse about queer Indian media, it's just that the lack of popularity and accessibility makes it harder for people to start. So, I've decided to make a list tracking all of the queer Indian media I know of, and hopefully also any meta/discourse about it, which is an idea I've had floating in my head for months now.
This list is by no means comprehensive, so if you have recs, send them my way! Text me on DM, send an ask, tag me in your posts, whatever. And though it's not possible for me to watch everything on the list, I will be slowly going through as many of these as I can and writing about them, as well as hopefully finding more stuff and easier to access versions for the ones that are harder to access right now. This post is going to be a slow work in progress, but I'm hoping to update it regularly. So, if you'd like me to keep you updated, let me know through the tags/replies and I will tag you in future posts!
I've tagged the people who've recommended certain shows alongside each show. Everything on here is available online. The hyperlinked titles lead you to the media itself, meaning that it's available for free online with subtitles. Other details will be mentioned separately.
Disclaimer: The media I have watched/read have recommendation ratings (which will not always reflect my enjoyment of something, rather are based on how much I'd recommend it). While I did lightly screen everything on here, the criteria was 'has a trailer or otherwise showing queerness to be a central theme in the story' and 'is available online', so take that into account if you decide to pick something up, and definitely watch trailers and/or skim the wikipedia pages beforehand.

Recommendation: 5/10 A historical book set during the colonial era, the lesbian romance is mostly a subplot that loses it's way towards the end. It's kind of a drag, but the history component is somewhat interesting.
Don't Let Him Know
Recommendation Rating: 7.5/10 with serious trigger warnings including rape. It's a brutally honest book designed to make the reader uncomfortable, so proceed with caution. I personally liked it quite a lot, but that's majorly because of how authentic the book felt.

do you know if theres like, a scum villain wife list or something. Of all the wives mentioned in canon. I cannot find one and I need it for a thing I'm writing :(
Someone may have made a comprehensive blog post on absolutely everything to do with Luo Binghe's harem somewhere, but I haven't personally seen one. This is the wiki's list of his known wives:
https://scumvillain.fandom.com/wiki/Harem.
(I keep thinking to myself that it might be worth looking into a wiki contribution week or something so that SV fans can have these things for reference in full detail. The wiki in its current state is still very much under construction and also the particular company here "Fandom" suck generally. But I've never contributed to a wiki before, so I wouldn't know where to start.)
Part of the difficulty with naming all of Luo Binghe's wives in PIDW is that there are only rough estimates for how many he had exactly and it's unclear what statuses they actually had in the harem. And I believe that he also had love interests he never actually officially married in any way.
I'm going to list off wife / love-interest characters off the top of my head here in vague summary. I'm going to request that people add on or correct me here if I'm missing anyone or straight-up wrong about anything (relevant direct quotations are always welcome). I have digital editions of the novels now, so I may control+F for "wife", "wives", and "harem" after work, then copy-paste the relevant quotations into a big document, because I'm curious now and I want to see what results that I get from that. If someone has made and posted a comprehensive canonical list regarding the harem already, I'd appreciate the link.
Ning Yingying: wife and childhood sweetheart.
Liu Mingyan: wife.
Sha Hualing: wife.
Qin Wanrong and Qin Wanyue: I think that they were wives, twins, Luo Binghe's first threesome, and also were bullied by Sha Hualing a lot.
Little Palace Mistress: wife and I also vaguely remember some commentary from Shen Yuan about her being the "leader" of the harem in some way.
Qiu Haitang: wife.
The Three Taoist Nuns: wives, they had something to do with taming the Xin Mo sword in PIDW, and are Liu Mingyan's RPF buddies in SVSSS.
Madam Meiyin: it's stated in the succubus extras that she and Luo Binghe had an affair. I don't think that she ever married him, though.
Aaaaand that's everyone I remember. The known, named canonical list isn't actually very long, which is generally why everyone ends up inventing original characters. There are also unnamed canonical love interests, like the one afflicted by the Without A Cure poison in PIDW, but I really do not remember them all.
#townofcan#tossawary svsss#pidw luo binghe#ask tossawary#ning yingying#liu mingyan#sha hualing#xiao gongzhu#qin wanrong#qin wanyue#qiu haitang#madam meiyin#the three nuns

oh tumblr user dogtoling, blease, impart unto us your wisdom of drawing really good fat cephalopods
I think i've answered this exact question before and it's kind of a tall ask... the best advice I can always give is to just study how to draw fat people first (granted, easier said than done in regards to finding references). Once you have a hang on how that works and how fat sits on the body and how it usually accumulates, that basic knowledge goes a pretty long way when drawing non-human characters too. for people who are completely new to drawing fat, the best off-the-top-of-my-head tips i can give are:
1. don't just draw A Circle. you won't get very far with that most of the time. if you really want to start with a shape, i'd recommend a rectangle and working out the shapes from there (more balanced than a circle + you're less likely to mess up in the gravity part)
2. fat =/= JUST the belly. I think this is pretty commonly talked about but a lot of people that are new to trying to draw fat people will just try to add a belly to an otherwise thin frame. And don't get me wrong, that IS also a body type that exists, but especially when you go higher in weight it's about filling out the whole body. add some width. study which areas accumulate more fat and which don't!
3. DO NOT BE AFRAID OF THE DOUBLE CHIN. Skinny Face on Fat Body is pretty common to see and again while you can also have a body type like that, it just seems like a lot of people are scared to draw double chins or not sure how they work. Don't be afraid to give fat characters fat faces, it makes a huge difference!! (though, also pay attention to not go overboard with this part, because it can also end up looking really off.)
4. remember that fat has weight, so if you think you've done everything correctly but the drawing still looks off, it's often because the GRAVITY is off. Fat Has Weight. So while you draw, try to visualize where that weight rests organically. (also this specific step will come back to haunt you every single time you draw a fat character sitting down or in any non-standing position)
5. Fat can change shape in different positions (for example rolls can appear or disappear depending on how the torso is bent). consider this when doing different positions - but don't go overboard here. Fat still usually has a general shape, it's not some kind of freely shape-shifting jello with the consistency of some goop. And again, body type matters here, some people are more firm than others.
6. At bigger sizes, pay attention to subtle differences in positions and posture that both the weight and the space it takes up might cause. For example, with bigger bodies you'll often see the arms angled slightly to the side rather than straight down the sides (collision with chest/upper body fat = arms Cannot just go straight down). you probably get the point. The keyword most of the time is SUBTLE, but also if you skip this part, the results might look strange and again you have no idea why.
this list is Not comprehensive because as i've added a disclaimer in like every part, there is a huge variety of body types. So the best way you can learn in the end is, unsurprisingly, just seeing and drawing different body types! but i tried to think of and include a lot of common pitfalls that people (including me) tend to fall into when learning and how to Skip the extremely frustrating "why does this look Wrong" part to at least some degree instead of having to stare at the art for 5 hours and just try to work it out.
anyway NOW TO THE CEPHALOPODS PART - if you draw Inklings with human anatomy you're basically done already. Just, doubly study real-life fat people in that case. But in the case you don't, practicing on real fat bodies is still useful because as I said before, understanding the basic rules is widely applicable even for other creatures! My approach to inkfish is that they're generally pretty human-shaped, but because they have no joints or bones, I try to avoid rigid segments in most areas and thus make them generally more smooth. that means less rolls (pretty much none until actually larger sizes) and more just, idk, smoothness.
This is more or less the mental map i work off of:
While you'll usually look at the inkfish torso and view it as mostly A Singular Cylinder, it becomes more obviously segmented with more weight. The arms, legs or tentacles don't have any shape other than Noodle, so they just get thicker overall for the most part. Go above a certain weight threshold and you start seeing more texture and rolls. In humans you would definitely have to consider stretch marks, but I omit those from Inkfish because that's scarring that I feel wouldn't occur in a species that's got flexible enough skin to drastically stretch and change form unscathed all the time anyway.
I have to point out that fat tentacles are a game changer in my opinion! They're a part of the body too, so as a very inkfish-specific tip, just add weight to the tentacles if you have a fat character. It adds a significant amount of immersion and just looks more sensible I guess. I'll use Engel's old hairstyle as an example because he's a very good example of this specific aspect...
yeah i feel like that illustrates my point.
(This isn't really relevant to DRAWING fat inklings, but someone is probably going to wonder about it so I'll answer it: i'm ignoring the logistics of a fat inkling being able to stand or walk without any kind of internal support structure. It's definitely notably difficult for them because as opposed to humans with skeletons, they have to support the weight mostly using JUST muscle. However from a realism standpoint, inklings being able to stand or walk at their size EVEN WHEN NOT FAT wouldn't work in the first place, and Splatoon is full of creatures like Cohozuna or the Great Zapfish, or even Mr. Coco, which would crush themselves and suffocate and die under their mass if they came out of the water... and they're constantly out of the water, so TL;DR no one in Splatoon gives a shit about the laws of physics anyway. If you can have the suspension of disbelief to accept Crusty Sean walking on two legs as a whole ass bipedal giant prawn, that should be able to extend to a fat inkling.)
I don't really know what else to write so hopefully this helped somebody. Lol

List of Valentino Rossi books and documentaries:
inspired by @pgaslys list of marc’s docs
📚 Books
What If I Had Never Tried It [English/Italian/Spanish/German/Japanese/Chinese, etc.]: Vale’s only autobiography to date, translated into a lot of languages (so many that it’s hard to keep count). The English edition is notoriously rough - think spelling mistakes and some lost-in-translation moments. Despite this, yellow fans absolutely shouldn’t miss out on this gem. Published in 2006, during Vale’s zenith with five consecutive championships under his belt, the book radiates his happiness and confidence. The narrative is casual, with chapters loosely connected, but you will still find pleasure in reading this book.
MotoGenius: the Valentino Rossi biography by Mat Oxley: Oxley remains my all-time favorite Rossi author! Initially published years ago, the latest edition is available on Kindle. It’s a treasure trove of Vale anecdotes and Oxley’s unique insights, offering a glimpse into how Vale captivated his generation.
The Valentino Rossi Files: Everything I’ve ever written about VR by Mat Oxley: Available on Kindle, this collection (in two parts) encapsulates all the articles Oxley wrote about Vale for magazines and newspapers before joining Motor Sport Magazine.
Valentino Rossi: The Definitive Biography by Stuart Barker: A comprehensive biography of Vale, chronologically organized.
Valentino Rossi: Il Dio del Motociclismo by Fabio Fagnani [Italian]: Not recommended as the author’s fan-like admiration making it read more like a love letter than a biography. The only saving grace is the interview with Aldo Drudi.
Valentino Rossi: All His Races by Mat Oxley [English/German/Japanese/Serbian]: Chronicles every race of Vale’s career, enriched with exclusive interviews.
🎥 Documentaries
When asked about a movie about himself, Vale said, “If it’s a bad movie, I’d rather it didn’t exist.” He holds a similarly cautious stance towards documentaries, and has never personally produced a documentary about himself, though perhaps that might change at some point in the future.
Faster (2003) : Premiered at the Festival de Cannes during MotoGP’s golden era, this documentary intriguingly portrays the rivalry between Vale and Max Biaggi.
The Doctor, the Tornado, and the Kentucky Kid (2006) : Focuses on the 2005 season, especially the US Grand Prix, you can see the beautiful yellow livery of Yamaha’s 50th anniversary.
Fastest (2011) : A sequel to Faster.
Hitting the Apex (2015) : Arguably the best MotoGP documentary out there. Vale and Marco riding into the sunset to ‘Wish you were here’ is a poignant moment.
Valentino Rossi: The Doctor (2016) : Produced by Monster Energy, primarily illustrating how Vale expanded his empire step by step.
Racing Together (2017): MotoGP history isn’t complete without its greatest icon, Vale features for about 15 minutes.
Valentino’s Secret Room: Inside the Doctor’s Hidden Archive (2020) : Produced by Dainese, revealing Vale’s personal collection.
Ruta 46 – Ruta 93: El camino de dos mitos (2021) : Produced by DAZN España, unfortunately I haven’t seen it yet – if you have, let me know how it tells the tale.
Tales of Valentino (2021) : A nine-episode documentary series produced by Dorna, showcasing different aspects of Vale’s career through nine significant races.
RiVale | Valentino Rossi as Told by His Rivals (2021) : Produced by DAZN Italia featuring Vale’s main rivals (except Marc), sharing their stories with him.
Rossi | BT Sport Documentary on the Career of MotoGP Icon, Valentino Rossi (2022) : Produced by BT Sport following Vale’s retirement, highlighted by Suzi Perry’s captivating hosting style.
MotoGP Unlimited (2022) : No need for a lengthy introduction – it’s probably already been watched by everyone by now.

CW: OC talk + Rambling / Blood / Gore / Censored Nudity (character sheet) / Mentions of Drugging
(idk why these warnings are so intense, but I swear it's all just silly OC talk T^T)
I’m kinda sorta working on more (comprehensible) TS OC stuff in between studying right now… I wanna hurry and talk about them but without info dumping (if given the opportunity I will without hesitation 😔…) because in terms of the best stories I have conjured up for OCs in general Naudedel and Noble are surprisingly good and I’m very excited to share how deranged they are together…
Right now it’s just about making Naudy readable and working on extra fun stuff… like monsters!
I’m trying to work out his “monster” form…. The concept is there, but the execution is just not ticking the right boxes for me right now… also, the line art at the end is old and probably will go unused, but thought it was something to add here because like hehe look at my deranged son :)
When it comes to the writing I'm going to split it into two chapters. The first half will be a summary+ of his upbringing, and the second on how he fucked up his arm and why. Just enough info to get a read on what his deal is pretty much. I just need to edit the first chapter and rewrite some parts then it's ready to annoy the world!
I'm trying to think of a good design for his original mother... I'm thinking dark hair and milf (¬‿¬)・゚✧ ... honestly I need to start drawing out the designs for all the other TS OCs I've accumulated over the year (?) here's a fun list-
Hickery (bloodhound OC... dilf oc...I've already been made fun of for his name, but it stuck to me so I'm keeping it!)
Maya (another bloodhound OC)
Cove (Hound's ex-husband)
Cetcher's gf + informant, who still needs a good name...
and that one guy! (doesn't have a name yet... but is important in Hound's part of the story... she bashed some of his guys in the back of head with a hammer... it was a whole thing... Leander got involved... gang war stuff, don't worry about it...)
There are technically more OCs, like that Hightown lady Noble befriended during their first few weeks in town. However, I'm not sure if I'm including her in the final plot meeting. But yeah, anyway I'm rambling so on to Noble news!
For Noble, everything is plotted out in advance surprisingly…character playlist and all... just need to find the words to explain their story other than “parasite with a weird God complex feels guilty” I do have some old memes and art of them though!
Noble curse stuff...
Childhood cult stuff...
Current reality...
Poor person masquerade dress censored for tumblr...
Noble folks!
I actually wrote out a whole little thing for the black dress in a what-if scenario of...
"Oh! ,,,What if there is a masquerade in Hightown and Noble sneaks in to get some information on a certain individual who might know a thing or two about curses, but turns out the whole event if devious and their all eating babies or some fucked up shit,,,, and what if while sneaking around they see Leander and are like 'what's he doing here?' and they lock eyes but he ignores them as he ducks into a closed off area with some important looking people,,, once he comes out he walks past them and they lock eyes again as he leaves,,, Noble chases after him and once they catch up they get to see his cold and detached side right before he hides them from the other guest,,, after they talk for a bit, or more like Leander talking over them and their worries as he slowly wipes their memories while they protest that it's not fair only to wake up the next day back in their room,,, thankfully their curse is good for more then just silly bouts of insanity so they have a hunch on what happened, everyone around them who knew where they went the night before were obviously worried and the general consensus is that they might have been drugged and should go check in with Kuras just in case (wow this is getting long...) but on their way to the clinic they run into Leander and of course discusses their current problem with him ,,, words are exchanged,,, a kabedon may occur,,, as he whispers in their ear,,, all fun till he erases their memories again, or at least tires before receiving a little gift that makes him look at this whole curse thing from a different angle." DEEP BREATH! ...Anyways... yeah.
But it was taking so long to write out that I ended up losing motivation so yeah... like everything else we will pray the motivation comes back so I can finish that... plus who knows, I might make an x reader version of it if I can. (don't hold your breath... I'm extremely slow)
Anyway, I'm gonna to shut up now because I've yapped enough. I'mma make some hibiscus tea (ironic) and head to bed... Night night, if you made it this far, thank you for listening to my craziness <3

Do you know if anyone has made a chronological list of Natasha comics kinda like the dailyjasontodd account? I want to read some of her comics but I’m so lost and I have no idea where to start.
Hi anon! Thank you for the ask :)
Idk if there's a list as detailed as the one you mentioned for Jason, but also because I don't think a list so detailed is needed, because there are no hard reboots and things like that to keep track of.
I found this recent list below. It's for Black Widow, Winter Soldier and for the Winterwidow ship, but you can skip and read as you prefer, I suppose. Moreover, it's also for "modern" Black Widow, as it starts with what I believe it's Natasha's first solo, BW1999 (please correct me if I'm wrong). Before that, she appeared on Daredevil, X-Men and Captain America comics (I haven't read those, but hopefully someone seeing this might have some suggestions regarding those).
I understand that some people like to read everything in chronological order, and if that's the case, this list here seems pretty comprehensive:
Now, for people who don't care about chronological order that much, and who are interested in Natasha but don't want to read a ton of stuff, I personally think you could pick up any of:
Black Widow: The Name of the Rose (it's BW2010 #1-5, the rest of the BW2010 run is meh, so you can skip them if you feel like it). I suggest this one because I think it's the best BW solo. It's a great arc, has amazing characterization, pretty art, and the prose of Nat's inner monologue is just beautiful. And it's also very short, so it can be easy to get into. If you have to read one BW comic, read this one.
Black Widow 2014 #1-20. It's *very* good too, it's not my favorite only because I think the one above is really phenomenal. Amazing plot and characterization (probably my favorite kid!Nat appearance too), and the art is really pretty (my favorite art, probably). Also, there's Liho, Nat's cute cat :)
Black Widow 2016 #1-12 is also good. Shorter than the 12 issues make it appear imo, and though not as good as those two above, it's a very solid run.
These three above would imo be easiest to get into, and for people only reading a few runs, those should absolutely not be skipped (but like, especially 2010 and 2014).
Now, there's also BW2004, which is very important for historical reasons, I suppose, because a lot of the things we associate with Natasha appeared there first. It's fairly short, too, and also a very solid arc. Actually, I think this one should be included in the "non-skippable" list too.
I also recommend BW1999 and BW2001, both 3-issues long, for the relationship between Natasha and Yelena (who's a very different character from the MCU), though I don't particularly think those two minis are really great.
Also, if you interested in Buckynat, I think the first list I linked is already sufficient, but I must emphasize that Winter Soldier 2012 is GREAT (and it's honestly pretty important too, for Natasha herself, because *things* that happen there keep affecting Natasha for some time).
There are more important comics for her (like Captain America 2005 #27 onwards, which I also recommend because they are very good), but I think the ones above are the easiest to pick up without it being overwhelming, and if you're not super interested in the other characters.

hii i recently started reading your work, cyanide narwhal, and am honestly really hooked! i love your characterization so much and find the story you built around the lore really, really interesting!
i’m not deeply familiar with the intricacies of the lore in genshin impact, but i’ve been fascinated by it for a while—and reading your story made me realize how much depth i was missing out on…is there any sources or ways you can reccomend as a primer/introductory to genshin lore? i really want to learn more and understand the theories better! thank youuu
aaa thank you! and this is actually a really interesting question
obviously my first thought was just play the world quests and pay attention, but not only is the info in the world quests sometimes incomplete, but i understand perfectly that some people just skimmed the dialogue at best and now cannot replay them but the fact of the matter is that the best way to get into some parts of the lore is via the world quests
still, there's plenty of people on youtube who do timeline and lore recaps without theories - as in, just telling you the lore that one can learn from the quests in a more streamlined manner. they're always a great choice!
there's also the artifact and material lore, which does usually contain a lot of info, but is usually kinda cryptic. the good thing about those is that you're not locked out of reading them, so as long as you have the necesary pieces, you can just go into the in-game archives and read up there. as with the world quests, though, there's also plenty of people on youtube doing full analyses on the lore of those
i think once you have a rough idea of some of the relevant names and lorebits, that while daunting at first, the wiki's timeline page is rather helpful when it comes to trying to get the bigger picture of when exactly everything happened in relation to other things. reading the little annotations and notes they put on where they got their info and when they've had to make extra calculations for some things' placements also goes a long way.
once you've started to understand more of the out-of-the-way lore, going to theorists is also a great way to catch the more interesting ways this game is built. as in- real-world references and inspirations.
because telling you 'oh you can find it on youtube' still sort of leaves you having to figure out how to even look for it, here's a little list of the youtubers whose videos i've watched at least once for these things. not a comprehensive list of course, but from there some of them shout each other out and you can navigate the recommended section for more videos, so!
as with all things lore-related in this game, keep in mind when the videos were made in relation to the game's patch version. the ones that are more just strict lore read-throughs are less vulnerable to later patches sort of- changing some of the context? (looking at you remuria) but still. and obviously theory videos are even more dependant on that. so:
for lore analysis (most of these are strictly just the lore with little speculation, but there's probably some extrapolation here anyway): - Ashikai has a great beginner's guide series on region lore, but it only covers up to sumeru so far. still, might be a great place to start! there's also some quest recaps and lore details here and here - Francis Lee Arthur has a great series of very concise videos of world quest recaps, though they sadly don't have mondstadt and liyue quests, and only a handful of inazuma quests. still, they're great videos, and there's a ton of sumeru and fontaine quests (and one chenyu vale quest i think) - SiliconOneFour has a bunch of videos on artifact and weapon lore, and some recent ones on stuff like the remuria timeline, mondstadt's aristocracy, the history of the temple of silence, etc - KlemenTime has a bunch of videos on pieces of lore that aren't really laid out explicitly on world quests, but that you sort of learn through exploration? idk how to describe it. they also have artifact lore, and while not in the playlist, if you go to their profile they also have some more borad sumeru and natlan timeline videos - Minsleif has archon quest and world quest recaps, along with other lorebits. there's also their massive 1-min reel lorebit video collection on much shorter things
for theories (some of these have a mix of lore+theory videos so i'm putting them here bc i wanted ot keep the 'just the facts' videos to the section above): - Ashikai is my favorite theory nerd in the community so forgive the bias, but there's the incredible project:teyvat series and the world structure series, which are two massive theories about the way teyvat as a world functions. i think you might want to save these ones for after you've familiarized yourself with the lore. other than that, there's plenty of other theories to sift through (though bear in mind these are ALL the theories, so there's project:teyvat and world structure stuff here? but the titles will help you know which they are if you want to save them for later) - The Laughing Man has a ton of videos on lore and theory/speculation on like- a ton of stuff, along with character analyses - roozevelt has a bunch of videos on lore and theories, mostly revolving around the traveler and khaenri'ah, but there's plenty of other stuff there also - My Name For Now has a very interesting massive khaenri'ah theory, theories on the descenders, on the elemental system, and a bunch of other lore theory videos - Minsleif does have theories also (but i personally can't remeber if i've ever watched one. still, they're there if you want to check them out!) - Wei has theory videos that look like shitposts and sometimes feel like shitposts, but god, there's some interesting stuff there. i wouldn't know how to even describe it though, most of it is traveler related but still (also this is a general theories playlist, but like all their theories are from genshin with the exception of one jjk theory so like- i mean yeah, just letting you know why that's there lmao)
And here's the wiki's timeline page
so uhhhh yeah! hope you have fun if you decide to watch any of the videos from anyone there. of course there's probably a lot of other theorists and recap channels, but these are the ones i've watched at least once, so, pick and choose which ones you like best. have fun!
TL;DR: you can still access a bunch of lore in-game via the artifacts, weapons, and weapon materials, and any world quests you might not have played yet. but since i recognize that's a daunting task and the info is scattered and incomplete and confusing, watching video recaps might be the way to go. Ashikai's beginners guides are great introductions and refreshers, and there's plenty of videos to catch up on world quests or to have someone explain artifact and weapon lore to you

(Ayn scenario, it’s his birthday month!) PRESENT!!
Comprehensive List of Scenarios Prompt List
Ayn
37. PRESENT : for one muse to give the other a (birthday) gift.
Every single year, Ayn's birthday proves to be a pain in the ass.
He never liked how everybody kicked up a fuss wherever he went, how every single little thing seemed to be a big deal even if he just so much as glanced their way. He's not oblivious to the reason behind it but that never made the situation any better, learning the art of indifference over the years just to get a fraction of the attention off his back. That didn't completely dissuade others from digging into his business, although it was enough for some to know when to put their distance.
There's no good reason for him to bring up personal details about himself so he is pretty damn sure he never told anybody about his birthday, but at the end of the day he still got barraged with gifts and letters and a lot more greetings from people he has never talked to. It's not as if he was expecting his birthday this year to be any different from the previous ones so why even bother with the thought that this year would be more tolerable?
Only this year he is going through his presents when he normally wouldn't bother looking at them, not too interested in what's inside but rather he's shifting through all the unfamiliar names in search for a certain name. For some reason he never noticed if you have approached him at all that day, a majority of his view blocked by countless people everywhere he went.
A few hushed curses and a couple of minutes later, he can't still find your name.
Are you busy with something else? Did you forget what day it is today? It's not as if your life revolved around him, he shouldn't expect you to know it's his birthday just because others do. Ayn probably sounds self-centered but he can't help it; the news should be all over the school at this point, there's no way you haven't caught wind of it.
So where in the world are you?
Ayn has half the mind to give you a call right here, right now, but before he could reach for his phone there are a few knocks on the door. He perks up immediately. He knows that knock.
"Come in."
A few moments pass before the door swings open to reveal your form. You tentatively look around the practice room as if it's your first time visiting, even though you drop by nearly just as much as he does nowadays.
"Is there anybody else in here?" you ask.
"No, it's just me," he replies. "You do realize I don't normally allow people to enter, right?"
Right after he says that you sigh in relief, finally comfortable enough to step into the room now that you know it's just the two of you. Now that Ayn is looking at you from up close, you seem to be tired from a full day's worth of hard work. Before he could comment on that, you hand him a gift bag, the exhaustion in your features replaced by anticipation.
"I've been trying to give this to you all day but the timing never felt right," you explain, "so I waited until you're alone. I didn't expect that it would take me the entire day, though... sorry it took me this long. I'll make sure to be the one to greet you first next year so this doesn't happen again." You pause for a moment, hand with the gift still outstretched to him, looking away before you meet his gaze again. "Happy birthday, Ayn."
Next year, Ayn thinks to himself quietly.
Just earlier Ayn was so sure how things will never change. Now that you're handing him his gift, accompanied with the promise of next year, he has an inkling that his following birthdays will grow far more tolerable. He is used to being put on a pedestal but somehow he never feels that way in your presence. It might be why everything seems to be easier with you; you don't make him feel scrutinized, just seen.
"You didn't have to get me a gift," Ayn finally says as he takes the gift bag from your hands. He's probably never going to tell you how he was scrambling around his presents just minutes ago in search for yours.

Anti endos really dont know how to read huh???
They really dont understand that plurality =/= only did/osdd/other dissoiative ones i may be forgetting
This! It's genuinely mind-boggling how people can have such strong opinions with absolutely zero understanding of anything they're talking about.
I'm gonna dive right into this post, because it's just so terrible!
I'm endogenic. I'm a tulpa. We do not have DID or OSDD or any other dissociative disorder. We have never claimed to.
I believe that DID is almost always caused by trauma. And that more research needs to be done on different presentations of OSDD to determine how strong its association with trauma is.
I can't understand why these facts are so hard for their brains to process.
I'm not a huge fan of insulting people's intelligence but gods, these people just make it really difficult not to.
I have literally always said I was endogenic!
This hasn't changed!
I'm also not saying that only trauma can cause DID. I think there definitely is a possibility that there could be rare non-traumagenic forms of DID. But being open to this possibility is VERY different from claiming, as the Satanic Temple's Grey Faction has, that DID is typically iatrogenic.
The Grey Faction does not believe DID is caused by trauma.
And this hate subreddit is using them as a source for their anti-RAMCOA rhetoric!
On the topic of gaslighting, Grace is correct that Grace did not say the words "religious alters only existed after Hazbin Hotel." (I didn't say they said those words either.)
Here is what Grace has said though!
Remember in the below screenshots that the black at the top are the posts Grace is responding to and the light grey at the bottom are Grace's words.
Grace assuming that Hell in headspace is from Hazbin Hotel:
Grace saying there wasn't a slew of religious alters before Hazbin Hotel:
(Anyone who has been in the system community knows that religious headmates were very common since long before Hazing Hotel was a released.)
Grace assuming a biblical angel alter is from Hazbin Hotel:
Grace assuming ANOTHER angel is from Hazbin Hotel:
This is despite the fact that this person is obviously confused about why they have an angel there and probably wouldn't be confused if they had an introject from Hazbin Hotel.
Grace assuming a God alter is from Hazing Hotel:
And as a reminder GOD ISN'T even in the show!!!!!!!!
This doesn't even make sense!
There's a very consistent theme in these posts. You know, since I'm already reusing the screenshots, might as well reuse the meme as well.
Back to this post though...
Oh...
Yeah, I'm just going to refer back to everything above!
Grace!
Where does this post mention DID???
Even though I do believe it is theoretically possible to have DID without trauma, this post doesn't say that!!!
How is this whole subreddit this bad at basic reading comprehension???
Right... You guys just have a mod-approved hit list of acceptable targets to name to focus attacks on said targets. A list that I'm on, by the way.
Why would I censor usernames of people on your subreddit if you don't censor mine, and have me on your list of approved targets?
Now in fairness, I screenshotted users from this subreddit without censoring names before they put me on their hit list, and I will continue to do so even if I'm removed from that list because yes, it's an ableist hate sub and I have no desire to hide the names of people participating in spreading hate against systems.
But I still want to call out the hypocrisy of a post that names my blog complaining about me not censoring the names of the people I respond to.

These subtitles appearing out of nowhere only to fade back into the void always manages to startle me.
Let’s see, maduros are… plantains. More specifically, sweet fried plantains.
…what’s a plantain?
Okay, so plantains are bananas, but they’re bananas you cook rather than eat raw. They are a major food staple in parts of Africa, the Caribbean islands, Central America, and northern South America. And that’s about as far into the wikipedia article I could be bothered to read, but I get the gist of it.
Anyways, look, Stringbean’s got her own little nest in the corner. That’s adorable.
ALL OF THEM!?!???
So Luz is off to the University of Wild Magic and she has chosen to study everything, because Luz is nothing if not a true renaissance man. Among her majors are Ancient Glyphs and Combos. A mostly theoretical field nowadays, but I suppose there could be value in it to understand the fundamentals of magic. Though now that Philip is gone, wouldn’t that make Luz the Boiling Isles foremost expert on glyphs? I dunno, maybe some scholars studied the Philip’s notes from the echo mouse Musse.
Next on the list is Boiling Isles History. Personally, if you wanna learn about history but don’t have the time/money/energy to go to university, I’d recommend you pick up the Boiling Isles History box set available at the Bonesborough Supernatural History Museum. It’s written by Lilith Clawthorne and some of her colleagues and when I say it’s comprehensive, I mean it. When I say it’s a box set, I mean an actual box, with like… I think there were at least fifteen books? And those are thick volumes. So bring a friend to help you carry it, cause you’ll need it.That’s where I get a lot of my knowledge on the Demon Realm from. Some supplementary material include Flora D’Splora’s two most recent books, Hidden History: The Things the Emperor Did Not Want You to Know, and Hidden History volume II: The Things You Don’t Want to Know About Your Past.
As for Boiling Biology, Luz actually has a bit of a head start, because King used to teach her about demons back in season one. And he’s like a god in training, so aside from overestimating the size of the Snaggleback, he’s gotta be right.
…I’ve no idea what ”theumaturgy” means. Google brings up”thaumaturgy” which is ”the purported capability of a magician to work magic or other paranormal events or a saint to perform miracles.” If that’s what that’s supposed to mean, then again, Luz has got a pretty decent head start, seeing as she literally is a saint (or at least was for a few minutes while she had The Titan’s powers).
Abomination Engineering seems fairly straightforward, that’s what Alador does. Who knows, with Blight Industries going belly-up, maybe he took up teaching? I could see him pulling-off a absent minded professor archetype.
Curses 101 should be interesting, and that reminds me: do we ever see another example of a curse in the series aside from the Owlbeast curse? I can’t recall. But then again, the impression I got was always that the Owlbeast curse was unusual, so it’s entirely possible that curses are fairly common, but also fairly easy to deal with most of the time so long as you can get a healer to cure it.
Moving on, we’ve got Luz’ new look to look at. She’s got that snazzy jacket with a snake pattern, pants with what looks like symbols for different magical subjects (I spot bard magic, potion magic, and what might be beast keeping?). She’s got that necklace which… feels familiar, hold on… oh yeah, that’s Amity’s necklace.
Also, that’s definitely a tattoo on Luz’ arm, but I can’t make out what it is just yet. Let’s see… according to what I was able to dig up real quickly, a child under the age of 18 can get a tattoo in Connecticut with parental permission. So Luz is not necessarily 18 here. Because there’s also the possibility she got it in the Demon Realm which might have different (or no) laws.
THERE SHE IS MY SNAKE DAUGHTER!!! OH look at her she’s all grown up! She’s got long hair now and her ears are out, she’s got an earring and a nose ring. And I’m gonna go ahead and say that’s Masha’s influence. You can’t prove me wrong. That shirt is really cool too.
More importantly, she’s whispering to Owlbert, telling him to go get the others. A big surprise party for Luz, I presume.
Looking at the background, we find a photo of playing baseball, getting hugged by a teammate. I love seeing my precious daughter thriving.
There’s also a picture of Stringbean having eaten through an apple, which is kinda funny to me, because Stringbean is a serpent, and the forbidden fruit in the Garden of Eden is often depicted as an apple. I had a whole bit about that story in my post on snake symbolism and how it related to Luz.
(we’re just gonna pretend that owlbert’s wing is not there)
Ooh, they really fixed this place up something nice! It’s got a nice stone path, a bird bath, flowers, a rocking chair, a bunch of birds, bird houses, a light strand, one singular lit candle, and at least four garden gnomes.
It also has that Steven Universe-looking door. Seriously, I’m half expecting Steven and the Crystal Gems to come walking out of it. And really, Steven visiting Gravesfield? That would never happen! Certainly not in any fanfics I’ve written.
But nah, that’s gotta be the new portal door. It looks snazzy.
And they bought this place too. Makes me wonder where Camila got the funds for that… it’s almost like [DATA EXPUNGED; contained spoilers for yesterday’s lie, today’s truth, tomorrows promise]
Through the portal, the voice of The Collector greets us and credits begin to appear.
Undeterred by the credits in the sky, Willow is flying around, looks like she just came from a match or training for flyer derby. She’s got the Emerald Entrails logo, so I guess the team took off. Good for her. Oh, and she’s got new glasses, and a little plant headband thing.

howdy heres a decent post about how to find new music to listen to, from an autistic person who literally needs music to function most times 💪
spotify based since that is what i use
first off, Discover Weekly (updates Mondays) and Release Radar (updates Fridays) are pretty good if you arent looking for music quickly. i prefer Discover Weekly bc it usually is from artists ive never listened to.
BUT if you are anything like me and kind of need music daily, and/or feel like everything is getting stale to listen to and just is not stimulating enough, theres quite a few things you can do (:
i primarily use Chosic, since it kinda has a bunch of different shit to use n look at
if it feels too overwhelming, what you can do is stick with "Music Genre Finder" and "Similar Songs Finder"
even though it might sometimes ask on some pages, you do NOT have to sign into Spotify for this site if you dont want to (:
using this banger as my control song
Music Genre Finder
figuring out what genres and sub-genres you listen to the most is about to become your best friend ok
pretty much just toss in a bunch of songs you enjoy and take note of the genres and sub-genres. i recommend making playlists of songs with similar or same genres (and also bc its fun)
this one is the most basic, but is a good starting point to help you go down your rabbit hole
Similar Songs Finder
same concept; throw in songs you want more of. i do one song at a time but you can do multiple
theres also this (v), so have fun with that B)
i recommend taking a look at the advanced settings, but for the sake of keeping this post as comprehensive as possible, im going to stick to the basics.
clicking generate will pull up a list of songs similar to your input, available as both Spotify and YouTube playlists to save if you so choose
to make this easier, you can also analyze the playlist songs directly from here; just middle click the buttons to open a new tab so you dont lose this page
Moving on from Chosic to other methods lol
PANTHER. Panther is sooo good imo
this one is artist-based, and sometimes the song previews it gives do not load, but you can simply look them up to listen for yourself in that case.
i will use I Met a Yeti as an example
very simple; i recommend going into this website with lowered volume because sometimes the audio is loud and crunchy; it will sound better on Spotify though
Create Similar Playlist
this is a feature that is already in Spotify, and it is again, very basic.
right clicking on a playlist ofc pulls up a neat lil menu
this one isnt that great, but it works better with the more songs you have on it from different artists.
often times it will add songs you already have saved, but otherwise its kinda okay
Enchance
again, a built-in Spotify feature, however this one might not be for everyone as i believe this is an experimental feature that not everybody has at the moment. still, if you do have it, i absolutely recommend it
basically what it does is add ~100 songs to your Liked Playlist, spaced out every two songs (they are not permanently saved if that annoys you; they go away after turning off this feature)
update 11/11/23
Enhance is out now i think? however it's only for created playlists and not your liked playlist. it still works the same but adds less music. more music gets suggested though when you save them
the Panther site had some issues loading for a while, but it's working again (it may have just been me. idk)
this is all i have for now lol. if you have any questions lemme know (:
hope this helps!

MLM PokeImagines blog, go!
Hi! I’m the author of this blog. You can call me Writechu!
As a trans man who is very, very gay and has a very, very shameful addiction to x reader content, I haven’t seen very much specifically male x reader stuff for Pokemon guys, so I’m gonna be the change that (probably only) I want to see in the world.
I’m here to write x reader headcanons for pokeguys of all kinds--no major NSFW, though. I’m a legal adult, yes, just a legal adult who’s asexual and largely uncomfortable with it.
If you’re someone looking for masc x reader content for Pokemon dudes and content that will generally have a lot of queer themes, drop in a request and I’ll happily get to writing! Like, seriously, you have no idea how happy I’ll be for an excuse to be gay on main. Below I’ve got links to some important pages that can also be found in my blog navigation I recommend reading before requesting. Unfortunately the general interaction rules page (not the requesting one, that’s fine and listed below!) is a bit broken for people on desktop so isn’t listed, dark mode isn’t agreeing with some text, but I’m working to get that fixed!! Working on a lot of things on this blog, tbh, everything I have right now is very much a work in progress, so please be patient with me. ^^”
A promo would be really appreciated if you could spare one! Until then, I’ll be shuffling around waiting for and working on requests! I’m excited to meet you all and I hope I can provide some content yall might have been craving. Oh, and:

Alex's Top Gun Master RecList
So I have this shared around on discord, but I figured I would drop it here as well
Alex's Top Gun Master RecList!
This RecList is a comprehensive list of Floydsinshaw, Hangster, and IceMav fics (along with a couple others) that I've enjoyed reading and would like to recommend to you all! The link will take you to a Google Sheet, and any questions you might have for content/navigation will be on the home page!
I hope you all enjoy and, as a bonus, beneath the cut, I've included my top 6 (because 5 is just too few and honestly 6 is also too few) Recommendations!
So, these are in alphabetical order, not preference order! Don't make me choose!
1.) All The Love You Left Me (Series: 5 Parts)
Author: llewellynprince (couldn't locate Tumblr)
Rating: T-M
Pairing: Hangster (Main), IceMav
Word Count: 63,201
Warning: Rape/Non-Con (non-explicit, Parts 1 + 3), Graphic Depictions of Violence (Part 5)
Summary (1st Part): Jake Seresin is a lot of things, and Javy has been his secret keeper since the beginning.
Alex's Note: This series is structured in such an interesting way. There's no word-for-word dialogue, and it's very intense. I love the look into the different points of view, and it's such a great read.
2.) Bi_e_ual
Author: tempestbreak (couldn't locate Tumblr)
Rating: E
Pairing: Hangster
Word Count: 4,835
Warning: Internalized Biphobia
Summary: Teeth clenched, Rooster leans his forearm across Hangman’s chest, looming, eyes searching eyes. “What’s your game?” If Hangman is intimidated, he gives no indication. In fact, he seems to grasp what Rooster is asking immediately; that stupid smirk curls the sides of his lips as he raises his chin in challenge. “This isn’t a game, Rooster. It’s just life.” The smirk widens. “Well, life and death.”
Alex's Note: There's just something about the headspace for this one, Bradley struggling with coming to terms with his sexuality and how Jake handles that, and how they fit together. It's just a really good read, a fantastic balance of angst and anxiety to satisfaction.
3.) softest hands to hold you
Author: ginnydear (@floydsin)
Rating: M
Pairing: Hangster
Word Count: 5,231
Warning: N/A
Summary (1st Part): “You aren’t the first person to think I’m pathetic and weak, something to be used and not loved.” or - jake's had some bad past boyfriends.
Alex's Note: This fic reached into my heart and squeezed it tightly. There was just something so painful about understanding immediately what Jake is dealing with and having to watch Bradley stumble his way to the same conclusion while it gets worse. I love this fic, and I hope ya'll do too.
4.) Storm (4 Part Series)
Author: thecarlysutra (@icemankazansky)
Rating: E
Pairing: IceMav
Word Count: 34,366
Warning: N/A
Summary (1st Part): An injured Iceman is sent to TOPGUN to recuperate.
Alex's Note: This was one of the first IceMav series I read, and when I was finished, I went and consumed everything that thecarlysutra's written for the pairing. While I love all of their work, this one has a special place in my heart since it really dragged me into this ship. The story itself is so compelling, and regardless of Ice and Maverick getting together by the end of the 1st part every, one that comes after is so worth reading, even if you're not into reading established relationships (like me).
5.) When and Where
Author: twowritehands (@twowritehands)
Rating: M
Pairing: IceMav
Word Count: 25,210
Warning: N/A
Summary: A world where people are given, through reoccurring dreams, 1 to 5 details of their soulbond. The face, the place, the day, the time, or the name. Average is 2 clues. Unlucky bastards get only 1. Lucky people get 3 or 4. No one gets all 5. Maverick is one lucky unlucky bastard. Even though it is his only clue, he knows exactly where he will bond with his soulmate: Charlie's house. But, as it turned out, Charlie wasn't the One at all. Now, heartbroken, Maverick wishes he didn't know that That House is The Place. Because Iceman just moved into it.
Alex's Note: This is hands-down my all-time favorite soulmate AU across any fandom. The pacing is perfect, and the pay-off to angst ratio is ultimately satisfying. I won't spoil anything, but let me tell you, the conclusion had me kicking my feet in joy and rolling on my bed. It's amazing and such an honestly delightful read I urge you not to pass it up!
6.) wingspan
Author: aelibia (couldn't locate Tumblr)
Rating: M
Pairing: IceMav
Word Count: 3,896
Warning: N/A
Summary (1st Part): Iceman is in love. Maverick is oblivious. And the only thing in the world that can bring them together is locked up in a bathroom.
Alex's Note: Now, you might be asking me, "Alex, how the hell are you picking this as aelibia's best work?" I'm not. That's not what this is. Honestly, this space could be filled with any of aelibia's work because they are, without a doubt, one of my favorite IceMav writers. The reason I've chosen this fic is because it's the first crack adjacent fics I've honestly ever read, and while it's definitely got that humorous ridiculous edge, there's something just so delightful about this fic that I can't not recommend it! But honestly, just go read all of aelibia's Top Gun fanfiction. They won't disappoint.
Like I said above, there's so many fics I wish I could put here, 6 doesn't feel like enough. But I hope this gives some people just getting into the fandom a good place to start!

yuletide anon here! thanks for the advice, I've been flailing a bit with the sheer volume & variance of 'how to do yuletide' posts. a more specific query: do you recommend writing a letter vs. just keeping everything to optional details? the big 'advice on prompts' post claims that vague prompts are better, but the letters from this year so far (kudos to all on getting them up so fast) are a nightmare of ambiguity for me personally, but I don't want to step on any toes w/too much specificity.
--
If you want to write like... 200 words max, you can just use the optional details.
My letter is already thousands of words, though shorter than most years, and that level of detail just makes one's eyes glaze over if it's in the signup form.
A letter can also be posted somewhere that respects more html formatting. If you want to have a bunch of sections or embed graphics or explain where to consume your canon or anything else that takes lots of space and possibly better formatting than the AO3 signup form, a letter is superior.
People also post letters before the requests are revealed, so some treaters default to looking at letters to find people to treat.
(But if you're hoping for treats, you do want some level of interesting hook in your actual signup because people do look through the requests on AO3.)
--
Taste in prompts varies so much that people have opposite opinions. You will never make everyone happy.
I hate vague-ass prompts. Fuck that advice. Though anything's better than "Just write me anything! :D :D" which guarantees I'll phone in 1k and then write my real fic for someone else.
I love ultra detailed prompts that are nearly an outline... but only if they match my pre-existing tastes. It's dangerous to only have this type of prompt, especially if you only have one for a fandom because writers tend to freeze if they don't like the prompt itself. It's a "don't think of a polar bear" situation where now all you can think of is the polar bear.
It's safest to also have a section on tropes and story elements you generally like, whether that's dubcon or casefic. This helps a writer extrapolate from a "too detailed" prompt to other things you might enjoy instead of feeling like it's that exact prompt or nothing.
Frankly, vague sucks.
Specific but open to modifications is great.
No prompts but a list of fairly specific tropes like "sex pollen" or "hanahaki" or "undercover as a couple" is good too. These are open to going in a lot of directions, but they come with specific plot ideas attached in a way that "fluff" or "angst" do not.
TBH, as long as you don't threaten suicide over not getting the story you want, you're pretty much fine though.
(I wish I were joking, but yes, this has more or less happened.)
--
You don't actually have to do anything in particular. If writing a lot of details is stressful or boring, you could leave it blank. You'll get a worse-for-you fic most likely, but you can do this. There are even weirdo writers who prefer it.
The best case scenario is to write details and/or a letter that make a potential writer understand your taste. It's really as simple as that.
And no one style of prompt or particular kind of detail will guarantee that someone understands you.
At a certain point, it's down to your writing skill in the signup/letter itself and your writer's reading comprehension.

REPOST & LIST 6 SONGS THAT INSPIRE YOU TO WRITE YOUR MUSE .
A Little Bit Happy by Talk ━━ Old, old souls / Don't know they're old / Until they're on the edge / Trying to process the loss of old friends / Scars, old scars / I keep in jars / Collect them like a badge / Won't forget the past / Those old, old friends / Turns out all of my highs are making love to my lows / Making fun of my boundaries, sticks, and stones / You say "Love", I believe it to the bone / If I could see how you see me / I could be a little bit happy / And through your eyes I realize / I could be a little bit happy / Ah, ah, ah, a little bit happy
No One Is Reliable by ChrispyD ━━Wouldn't give my heart / I won't give my brain / Used to think that I was smart / Swear to god I've gone insane / In times I lack awareness / What some others call careless / Rarely I get embarrassed / Based on other peoples standards / Not the type of dude to pander / Though they don't like my candor / I'm tryna be myself in a world full of cancer / I regressed so far / Pushed too hard / That I dropped my guard / Now my hearts in shards / Grown numb for the world / Numb for the pain / And my thoughts crowd but they ain't got no space / For this world I ain't ever had the patience / One time I had a good thing but it ended in a flash / I see no one is reliable and I'm okay with that / I put the weight upon myself / I should not blame anyone else / Nothing is permanent in this life the snow will melt / And I've accepted that, but nonetheless / Realizing this was painful I guess / But once I learned the lesson it was easier to cope / People in it for themselves I used to blame em, now I don't / No one is reliable / Except me
All Of Me by The Score and Travis Barker ━━ I've been running through this city with my hopes held high / In between my footsteps, that's where fear resides / It's tearing me apart, I swear I might divide / Mi-mi-might divide 'cause all this time it's / Me up against the wall / But I keep standing tall / Make it or break it, I face it / The winner takes it all / Me up against the mirror / Reflecting all my fears / Make it or break it, I face it / Until they disappear / It's taking all of, it's taking all of me / To fight when I can't breathe, yeah / It's taking all of, it's taking all of me / To be more than my dreams / I don't need a miracle / When life gets critical / Just keep on pushing my limits, it's only physical / It's taking all of, it's taking all of me / I've been trying to break the wheels off of this machine / But pressure's always trying to get the best of me / My doubts are overhead like vultures trying to feed
Don't Care Crown by Fox Stevenson ━━ So listen up, keep your ears to the ground / Don't go getting mistaken now / I'm the dude with the don't care crown / And I ain't gonna be taken down / I ain't lettin' my spirits down / 'Cause ain't much matter that much I found / We can never know everything, everything / So I've been letting go everything, everything / Relax and then rejoice, 'cause you can't change a thing / Disappointment is a choice, that's the thing, that's the thing / So choose something to believe in / You know we give life it's meaning, oh / If I search my feelings, I don't know / And it's beyond comprehension / You know I don't sense the tension, oh / In place of redemption, I let go / And well, I spent so much time with the don't care crown / That I don't care how it's been weighing me down / And I can't be open in my heart now / I'm feeling nothing at all / I ain't letting my spirits down / 'Cause ain't much matter that much I found / I'm the dude with the don't care crown / And I ain't gonna be taken / oh, I ain't gonna be taken down
Nothing Makes Sense Anymore by Mike Shinoda ━━ I used to sleep without waking up / In a dream I made from painted walls / I was a moment away from done / When the black spilled out across it all / And my eyes were made sober, world was turned over / Washing out the lines I'd seen / And my heart is still breaking, now that I awaken / No one's left to answer me / My inside's out, my left is right / My upside's down, my black is white / I hold my breath and close my eyes / And wait for dawn, but there's no light / I'm a call without an answer / I'm a shadow in the dark / Trying to put it back together / As I watch it fall apart / Nothing makes sense anymore, anymore
Old Me by 5 Seconds To Mars ━━ Shout out to the old me and everything he showed me / Glad you didn't listen when the world was tryna slow me / No one could control me, left my lovers lonely / Had to fuck it up before I really got to know me / All of the mistakes I made, I made, I made, I made / Whatever the price I paid, I paid, I paid, I paid / Another round, here we go, going in blow for blow / Look into the mirror, take the punches that I throw / I'm constantly reminded of all the compromises / By the people from the past who have a hard time letting go, yeah / And they wondered how long I could keep it up / But I wondered if I'd ever, if I'd ever get enough / And I did some shit I never should've done / I would do it over now, I'd do it over
