Thank you for feeding my need for scary Vere though, because you are absolutely right! The fact that he's scary is my favorite thing about him. Imagine pink eyes sinking into the depths of your soul, the glow luring you into the silence... Trapped in his presence as he weighs your guilt... sizing up and assessing the serving and cut of your being... the delicacy of a sinner... Or Vere in the darkness, a painting made of blood coating the floor around him as he stares blank into the camera, the only thing between you and him is and multitude of chains and the hands pulling them back into the black....
