Bear with me, I’m gonna actually try writing…
***
Your humble sandwich shack was recently upgraded to a small hovel. You now do specialized drinks and sandwiches.
Of course, you also had to get better insurance when you moved into the rent to own two story building in the city.
Not just any insurance! You needed insurance to cover hero and villain damage. You live in the city that birthed the greatest heroes and deadliest villains. While the chance of being murdered is extremely low, the chances of losing a house or building due to the fights were incredibly high.
High enough, insurance companies decided to make a pretty penny on all the people of the city.
You owned a small business that was rapidly gaining popularity. To keep up with demand, you decided to capitalize on the idea of heroes and villains. You began catering to tourists and eventually became one of the reason people visited the big city.
You began naming items on your list after heroes. Sandwiches and drinks alike had catchy names such as “Spexpresso” in reference to the fastest hero and the fastest acting coffee any coffee addicts have had or the brisket sandwich called “Smoked Pixet” named after the fairy hero named Pixie.
You thought it was funny, some of the customers thought it was creative, but the real fun came in the drawn cartoons merging the heroes with their respective menu item.
You bought a couple tv’s to showcase any submitted art and attention for your sandwich joint grew.
It wasn’t until the second hero stopped in, in their hero getup, and ordered their sandwich that you realized you were at the top.
Hey! The first one might have been a fluke or an accident.
Maybe you fumbled over your words but everyone was star struck.
“Good sandwich, I’ll have to get Euro in to try the gyro.” The hero chuckled on his way out, taking another big bite of his sandwich.
The customers and you let out a big sigh—you hadn’t even realize you were holding your breath—and then the little caf filled with laughter. It didn’t die down for a week—your caf was expanding and it took so much out of you until you hired three more people. All three workers were college students and you hired them within two weeks of the second heroes visit.
A few months later, your menu had changed greatly as new heroes wanted a spot on the menu and heroes already on the menu wanted to change certain ingredients.
You catered to a fee and stood your ground with most. The heroes respected you more for that as did the customers. You still made their sandwiches the way they preferred when they came in.
It was crazy for you to think about. You knew the orders of some of the most popular heroes and they came at regular intervals to get their lunch or dinner.
Marketing heard about your setup and chose to setup times where heroes would take photos with fans. You were gaining publicity and hero agencies were jumping on the band wagon.
You politely declined interviews or let your employees sub in. You weren’t someone who liked to be on camera and even the smooth talking lava rock hero couldn’t make you budge.
He did enjoy the spicy sandwich you made in his honor.
After all the humbug settled, you found a steady rhythm. But, all good things must come to an end.
After closing shop at 10:00pm, you were on your way to the car when you heard a voice call out to you from across the lot.
You turned at the sound, startled and trying to remain calm. Just because murders didn’t happen often didn’t mean they never happened. You were desperate not to be in the three percent.
“Why haven’t you made sandwiches for villains?”
“What?”
“Villains eat to, ya know?”
Not that you hadn’t thought of it but you didn’t think it’s go over very well. Not with heroes frequenting your place.
“I’m not too sure that’s a good idea. I don’t need heroes and villains fighting at my restaurant. I have insurance but it could never be that good.”
The man stepped out of the shadows and you realized you just told the most wanted villain no.
“Work on those sandwiches and I’ll work on a compromise.”
“You sure? I could just make you a sandwich under the table…? You could stop out back and grab it to go?”
The villain, covered in shadows and red (was that blood?), shook his head and took a step back.
“No. Put our sandwiches on the menu after a weeks time.”
“It’ll take longer than that to establish a villains menu and a good advertising strategy.”
“Well…I’ll have the hero and villain compromise figured out by then. The timeline isn’t up to you. I look forward to your work.”
“You’re not going to kill me if you don’t like the sandwich, are you?”
With shadows covering his exit, all you heard was an evil laugh that reminded you despite his absurd request, he was still a villain who made up one or two percent of the kills in the city over the last ten years. Okay…maybe not that many but you knew it was a lot! You just didn’t know ALL the statistics regarding heroes and villains.
While a normal person may have brought the conversation up to one of the many visiting heroes or maybe called the police, you brought out your folder of dreams and got to work on sandwich ideas.
And sure, you told the shadow villain that it would take more than a week to get started on this idea but you may have lied. It would take no time to start the menu—no the real issue was convincing civilians and heroes to accept a few changes.
One of the changes would be making a seasonal menu. Which would not correlate with actual seasons but rather about keeping scores between favorites sandwiches and drinks.
The advertising took some time and planning, you only had a rough outline of what that would look like.
By the end of the week, you were positive you’d be getting another visit from the shadow villain but it wasn’t him who called out to you in a parking lot. It was the number one hero.
“Y/n. I’ve heard a lot about you and your sandwich shop.”
“But you haven’t tried anything? That’s a real shame.” You smiled, turning your key into the car and starting the heat. You sat in the seat with your hands in your pockets and the door open. The hero walked a bit closer but kept a respectable distance.
“I heard you got a visit a week ago from…a mutual acquaintance.”
You frowned, your brow crinkling.
“I think? I think I know who you’re talking about.”
“Do you get so many visits from villains?” There seemed to be genuine concern in the pull of his smile. “He’s requesting your restaurant be made neutral territory. No arrests, no fights.”
“Sounds like an ideal insurance policy.”
The hero grimaced but nodded.
“I’ve agreed. I’m sure it wont be much use but I’ll ask anyway. One, is he pressuring you?”
“Not really. I’ve had the idea in mind for a while.”
“I thought so. So, is there any chance you tell me who he is?”
“I don’t know him. But even if I did, I wouldn’t put myself in the middle of the most powerful villain and every hero and hero agency. I’m powerless not stupid.”
The hero seemed surprised by your response but quickly covered it with a small smile.
“Right. Well, if you need help or if any of the villains try anything, I’d feel a lot better if you had this.”
He took a step forward and held his hands out, dropping a small device in your open palm.
“If you press that button, it’ll call me directly. You don’t have to say anything when it calls—very few people have it and know to only use it in an emergency. I’ll come running.”
“Flying.” You correct lightly with a soft smile.
“Flying.”
Business returned to normal and within a month you were preparing the advertisements and informing your regular customers of the upcoming menu additions and changes.
Heroes were a bit distant at first, not excited about the change, but the number one hero quickly helped with the transition by becoming a regular customer. He visited and chatted with you every Friday.
Villains, on the other hand, were much quicker to visit and test the boundaries set by both heroes and villains.
Just when you’d had enough, the shadow villain you hadn’t seen since the night he proposed the new menu showed up.
“I believe I made myself clear! Neutral territory. No stake outs, only steak cuts!”
That earned a laugh from you, nervous chuckles from civilian patrons, and an earnest smile from a couple heroes.
“I’ll have a conversation with you after your shift. I shouldn’t have had to find out from that snotty number one hero that you were having difficulties with my crew.”
“Don’t you threaten me, Shadows.”
“Shadows?”
“I don’t know your name, sorry.”
“I’m literally the number one villain. I have a reputation that exceeds me. I’m a symbol!”
“Bit egotistical, don’t ya think?”
Luckily, he was in a playful enough mood to see the joke for what it was.
“Perhaps. I’ll take the sandwich you have undoubtedly made after me. I’m surprised I haven’t seen it in the advertisements.”
“I wanted to wait until you had tried it.”
“Naturally. Only you would make a guinea pig of me.”
You took fifteen minutes to make his sandwich and his sidekicks drink. You brought it out, a breath nestled deep in your chest clawing out but unable to until he stamped his approval on the sandwich you made with him in mind.
“How is it?” The number one hero stood directly behind the most wanted villain with a bright smile on his face.
With his mouth full, the villain rearranged it into his cheek to say: “Give me a second to savor it.”
The hero looked down, his hands on his hips as he awaited the answer you were eagerly shaking for. You were jumping with excitement as he took another bite.
“It’s a winner!!” You did a little happy dance and the few people watching cheered with you, grinning almost as madly as you were. Almost.
“Yeah, it’s pretty good. I’ll give you that. I’m not a pickle person, though.”
“I’ll tell you like I’ve told everyone else! That is a damn good sandwich and I’ll be damned if I’m gonna change it because of personal preference.”
The cheers died down, the hero shifted his weight from his front foot to his back, subtly getting in a defensive position.
“Fair enough.”
“I’ll still make you a sandwich without pickles but that’s the one going on the menu. Glad you like it.”
The villain walked out with a small smile that disappeared into the shadows along with him. That grin was the last thing you saw of him.
“I’ve never seen anyone talk to him like that.” The hero spoke with note of admiration and shock, eyebrows nearly to his forehead.
“I won’t back down to anyone.”
“I suppose that’s a good trait to have. Almost gave me a heart attack but, a good trait nevertheless.”
He ordered the same sandwich and complimented you with a wink.
“When do I get a sandwich?”
You own a sandwich shop in the heart of a superhero city. After gaining customers by making sandwiches based on heroes, you decided to try making some based on villains. Today, a villain stopped to review theirs.

🔑 acceptance is key
You gave up.
You’d stopped wondering why Jungkook always seemed to catch you at your most awkward.
It was like you were that good at embarrassing yourself, and he was that good at being there to witness it.
But his presence felt significant, not just because he always seemed to be there, but because those moments—however embarrassing—had started to feel oddly comforting, like someone silently rooting for you in the background.
Like that one person you never actually spoke to but who consistently likes all your posts?
Whether it was your latest hallway stumble or your random solo commentary about your grocery list, Jungkook was always there.
Watching. Smirking. Shaking his head.
Avoiding him stopped being a thing. You stopped trying.
It got harder to keep a fixed schedule.
Your classes kept switching between in-person lectures and online sessions as you focused on your thesis.
The apartment building turned into a stage for accidental encounters—hallways, the garbage area, the stairs. You’d exchange hellos, quick chats, banters, and fleeting moments that made you feel less…alone.
Today was no different.
You stepped out of your door, balancing your bag and an iced coffee, only to find him locking his door. His hair was still slightly damp, and he was dressed in an oversized white shirt and jeans.
“Morning,” he greeted, his voice low and slightly raspy, like he hadn’t been awake long. His dimple made its familiar appearance when he smiled, and you couldn’t help but let your gaze linger for a few seconds.
“Morning,” you managed to squeak, juggling your bag and fumbling with your keys. Your iced coffee wobbled dangerously in your hand.
You knew he was watching you struggle, but you didn’t know he was biting his lip to hold back a grin.
Finally locking your door and securing your coffee, you shot him a glance. “So, what’s the agenda today? More random appliance repairs for desperate neighbors?”
“Maybe,” he said, chuckling as he stepped beside you. “Depends on how many people I see kicking trash bins today.”
You groaned and covered your face with your hands, realizing he’d seen your meltdown. “Okay, that was one time. And it was a moment of weakness.”
He shrugged, slipping his hands into his jeans’ pockets. “Hey, no biggie. We all have our moments. There’s no shame in that.”
A warm feeling spread through you. Too warm. Too comfortable. You rolled your eyes and waved. “Alright, alright. Bye, Jungkook.”
💃🏻 divas
You had a presentation coming up, and, despite years of experience, the fear of speaking in front of people never quite went away.
The thought of standing in front of your class still made your stomach drop. So, you’d been practicing nonstop, trying to memorize the key points to calm your nerves.
By the time you hit the stairs of your apartment building, you were already in full-on presentation mode.
“Speech, speech, agriculture and resource management, speech, speech, inclusive development for a more equitable world—” you waved your hand dramatically as you climbed.
“And that, my dear friends,” you muttered to yourself, “is why we’re taking economics to... to TAKE THE FREEDOM WE DESERVE!” You raised your fist in the air like you were leading a revolution.
When you reached the top, you finished with a flourish, curtsying as though you’d just wrapped up a Broadway performance. “Why thank you, thank you. No time to prepare—it was all impromptu!”
CLAP, CLAP, CLAP
You froze.
Of course.
Jungkook. Standing at the bottom of the stairs with an amused grin plastered across his face, his eyes sparkling like he'd just witnessed the best performance of a century.
You blinked.
You'd grown used to these perfectly timed encounters with him, but that didn't make them any less embarrassing.
So, without missing a beat, you turned to him, giving a dramatic bow, as if the applause was exactly what you expected. “Thank you, thank you,” you said with an exaggerated flourish, playing along. “I couldn’t have done it without my loyal fans!”
Later that night, you found yourself in his kitchen, sipping tea as Jungkook crouched on the floor, sleeves rolled up, intensely focused on fixing your ancient electric fan.
Yes, it was old, but it was salvageable, and the repair was free in exchange for a cup of tea.
“You know,” you said, watching as he tightened a screw, “I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone who willingly fixes things for their neighbors. Is this, like, a secret hobby or something?”
He glanced up at you, lips curling into a teasing smile. “Neighbor,” he corrected. “You’re the only one getting this free repair service. And no, not a hobby. I do this at work—electronic appliances, product development, testing… all the boring stuff.”
"Boring?" you echoed, raising an eyebrow. "No way. Not boring at all. Honestly, I think I should be friends with you, just in case. If you haven’t noticed, I’m basically a walking disaster. I could definitely use a repair guy!"
He laughed, setting the screwdriver down. "Hmm, should I start charging?" He leaned back against the counter, looking at you with a smirk. "So, what are you studying?"
“Just wrapping up my bachelor’s in economics,” you said, taking a sip of tea.
“And working too, right?” he added, tilting his head.
“Yup. Waitressing in the meantime,” you replied with a grin. “So, you know, living the dream. Hot stuff.”
His eyes widened slightly, clearly impressed. “Economics? While working? Wow. That’s… wild. And kind of amazing.”
“Yeah, right?” you replied, playfully tucking your hair behind your ear.
Jungkook’s gaze lingered on you a moment longer than necessary before he cleared his throat and turned back to the fan.
The conversation drifted from school to work to random bits of life—your rambling and his chuckles filling the space.
By the time he finished fixing the fan, you realized you’d been standing in his kitchen for over an hour.
🍻 welcome to after hours what can i get ya?
The next day, your shift started like any other at the bustling bar.
It was a casual spot, perfect for after-work crowds and people looking to unwind.
It was also known for its servers—those who “enhanced the customer experience” with short skirts, crop tops, and a whole lot of upbeat energy.
You adjusted your uniform, the cut highlighting your cleavage and legs. The regulars' eyes already followed you, but you'd grown used to it. It was just part of the job.
Balancing a tray of beers and nachos, you navigated the packed floor with practiced ease.
Then, you turned a corner and—
Jungkook?
There he was. Right in the middle of a group of coworkers, laughing at something one of them had said.
For a second, everything froze. His eyes locked onto yours, and his jaw dropped. He quickly grabbed his water glass and brought it to his lips—only to choke when he fully realized who he was looking at.
You’d told him you worked as a server—you just never mentioned where. Did that matter?
“Are you okay?” one of his friends asked, slapping his back as Jungkook coughed.
You? Completely unbothered. Professional. Cool. Totally unaffected by the fact that your cute, laid-back neighbor was sitting there, staring at you like he’d just realized you had boobs. Or a woman. Not the pale, messy-haired, oversized hoodie-wearing mess you were at home.
“Hi, welcome to After Hours,” you said smoothly, pulling out your notepad. “What can I get for you guys?”
Jungkook’s friends rattled off their orders—beer, nachos, the usual—but Jungkook? He stayed silent, eyes still wide, locked on you.
“And you?” You turned to him, giving him a soft smile.
“Uh—just, uh, a burger,” he mumbled, his voice barely audible.
“Fries with that?” you asked, raising an eyebrow, smile never leaving your lips.
“S-sure,” he stammered, those boba eyes wide and a little embarrassed.
“Got it,” you replied, flashing him a full smile. “I’ll be right back with your drinks.” You turned to leave, but you swore you caught him sighing softly as you walked away.
The smirk that crept onto your face was unavoidable. He’d tried to play it cool, but his eyes had lingered just a bit longer. Not that you blamed him. The uniform was designed to get reactions like that, and you knew the effect it had.
Yeah, I look different in my work clothes.
Wait, why are you enjoying this?
When you returned with their beers, you set them down with practiced grace. “Enjoy,” you said, in a rehearsed, flirty voice, flashing another sweet smile before turning to walk away.
As you leave, you heard one of his friends say, “Dude, she’s hot.”
You didn’t catch Jungkook’s reply, but you kept walking. Still, the smirk never quite left your lips.
🍆 cockblock!
The next evening, you were coming home from work, juggling a grocery bag and your tote when you spotted Jungkook ahead of you, walking toward his door. You were about to joke about your brief interaction at the bar the night before, but—
This time, he wasn’t alone.
There she was—tall, gorgeous, and effortlessly stylish. She stood by his door as Jungkook unlocked it, laughing at something he’d said, her hand resting on his arm.
You froze mid-step. Should you keep walking? Turn around? Pretend you’d forgotten something?
Why did you feel so awkward?
Too late. He looked up and saw you.
“Hey,” he greeted casually, flashing you his usual soft smile.
You managed a stiff "hey" in return, offering a tight-lipped smile and a quick nod before bolting to your door like a startled deer.
Inside, you tossed your keys onto the counter, muttering under your breath, “Cute. Whatever. I don’t care.”
But you did.
You stood there, groceries in hand, staring at the counter. What was this feeling?
You couldn’t name it. It lingered, unresolved, like a song stuck in your head but with no tune.
You lay down on your bed, staring at the ceiling, bracing yourself for the night. Part of you half-expected to hear the sounds of his obviously better-than-yours sex life drifting in from next door.
Thin walls.
But the night stayed quiet. Too quiet.
The next morning, you bumped into him on your way to class. He was dressed in sweats and a shirt, his hair slightly tousled like he’d just rolled out of bed, a black plastic trash bag in his hand.
“Morning,” he said, offering that small, easy smile.
You hesitated before blurting out, “Thanks for keeping it quiet last night. As you can see, I had to get up early for class today.”
He blinked, clearly caught off guard, before a grin spread across his face. “Oh, uh... that’s because she didn’t stay long.”
You froze. “Oh…Okay. Well, I hope I didn’t cockblock or anything.”
Jungkook let out a soft laugh, brief but warm. “All good.” His eyes crinkled at the corners, and you swore you felt your stomach flip.
You couldn’t think of anything else to say, so you nodded awkwardly and turned to walk away, silently cursing yourself.
“Hey,” he called after you.
You stopped and turned, heart racing for no reason.
“Yeah?”
“Have a good day.” He shrugged, his smile lingering longer than neccesary.
“You too,” you mumbled before hurrying toward the exit. Your cheeks may or may not have been red.
As you walked away, you realized your hands were gripping the strap of your bag so tightly it hurt.
Stupid Jungkook, with his stupid bunny smile.
🎙️ we should start a podcast
“YOU THINK I WOULDN’T FIND OUT?!” A loud voice, followed by the unmistakable crash of something glass breaking.
You glanced at the time—7:10 am.
The walls of this building might as well be paper.
Groaning, you buried your head in your pillow. You were free today. No classes. No work. Just sleep.
The yelling grew louder, words like “cheater” and “homewrecker” repeatedly thrown around during the heated argument.
Sleep was a lost cause now. You sighed and sat up, glancing at the clock.
By the time you opened your door to investigate the noise, Jungkook was already leaning in his doorway, a mug in hand, grinning like he was watching a reality TV show.
“Good morning!” he said, raising the mug in a mock toast.
“Ugh! They’re still going?” you grumbled, rubbing your eyes as you heard the voices not backing down.
He shook his head, chuckling. “But free entertainment, right?”
You couldn’t help but laugh.
You’d planned to sleep in, but somehow, you ended up in the middle of the hallway with Jungkook, coffee in hand, both of you fully immersed in the commotion.
You’d nod dramatically whenever someone made a solid point, raising your mug like you were cheering them on, and then pull exaggerated faces every time someone threw out a lame argument. Honestly, this was way more entertaining than staying in bed.
A few hours later, you and Jungkook were on your couch, two empty bowls of bibimbap scattered on the coffee table. You were trading theories about the fighting neighbors. Jungkook’s convinced the third party is someone from within the building.
“Jungkook, where are you getting this idea? Only Murders in the Building? You don’t even watch that show!” you groaned. It’s been hours, and he’s still holding on to this theory.
He leaned in, eyes wide with drama. “I swear I saw the guy in the parking lot at 10 pm last week. He was with a blonde lady who looked like the woman from the first floor. Heavy smoker, big hair, dirty blonde? You know her. They whispering.”
“What if they’re just talking? Friendly talk?” you quipped, not buying his theory because of weak evidence.
“In the dark? Behind a car? At 10 pm?!” He was practically jumping off the couch.
“Well, still! They could be just talking.”
“Whispering,” he corrected. “And about what? Hmm? Recipes? Best day to take out the trash? What’s so important to discuss at 10 pm in the dark?”
He was so invested now, his hands gesturing with full animation.
“Okay, okay, calm down, Perez Hilton. Jeez.” You raised your hand, mock surrendering.
He threw his head back, and you both laughed.
“We should start a podcast. Only Gossips in the Building with Jungkook & YN,” he said, his eyes glinting with excitement.
And just like that, your conversation was a whirl of podcast names, wild theories, and dramatic reenactments.
Hours flew by, with no signs of slowing down.
🔧 handyman
The next morning, you barely managed to drag yourself out of bed for your morning online class, splashing water on your face in a half-awake state. As you reached for your laptop, a knock at the door startled you.
Opening it hesitantly, you found Jungkook standing there, a black repair tool box in hand and a soft smile on his lips.
“Good morning!” he said, his voice a little too cheerful.
“Good... morning?” you replied, eyebrows furrowed. You were too groggy to connect why he, was at your door first thing in the morning.
He gestured toward your living room. “So, I noticed your bookshelf yesterday—half-built, just sitting there taking up space, and, well, I figured you’re home for classes this morning, right? Thought I’d finish it.”
Oh. That bookshelf. You cringed internally as you remembered your disastrous DIY attempt. The instructions had seemed so simple… until they weren't. That was three weeks ago.
“Honestly? I could really use your expert services,” you admitted, stepping aside to let him in.
He chuckled and followed you to the living room. Kneeling in front of the half-built bookshelf, he inspected it with a quick glance.
“My services aren’t free anymore,” he said, deadpan.
You gasped in mock offense. “Wow, already monetizing your skills? How much are we talking here?”
“I’m happy with just a cozy cup of coffee,” he said with a playful smirk, not looking up.
You clutched your chest dramatically. “Oh, thank goodness. Something I can actually afford. Guess I should milk this generosity before you raise your rates, kind sir.”
His laugh was low but genuine as you shuffled to the kitchen.
When you returned with the coffee, you handed it to him like it was a prized treasure. “Here you go. Only the finest instant brew.
He accepted the cup with a quiet “thank you” and focused on the instruction manual you’d abandoned weeks ago.
“I’ll be at the dining table for my lec…” You paused mid-sentence, scanning for your bag when you remembered you still needed to put on some lip tint. You couldn't show up looking like a zombie today for an important class.
Jungkook, still waiting for you to finish, simply stared at you, his gaze soft but expectant.
“Oh, sorry,” you mumbled, distracted. “Just remembered I need to look alive for class today.” You quickly began rummaging through your bag as soon as you found it on the couch, your fingers grazing over everything but the lip tint.
“You look perfect no matter what,” he said casually, not missing a beat, his attention already back on the bookshelf.
Your heart skipped a beat, the warmth spreading across your cheeks as his words settled in. You tried to shake it off, your voice a little shakier than usual.
“Lectures starting soon, so… if you need anything, which I highly doubt, just wave me down.”
You didn’t even look at him when you spoke, but his simple compliment hit you harder than you expected, and your stomach fluttered in a way you couldn’t quite explain.
From your seat at the dining table, you caught glimpses of him—his brows furrowed in concentration, an occasional nibble on his lower lip. Every now and then, his eyes flicked toward you, and you could’ve sworn he caught you staring back at him too.
By the time your class wrapped up, Jungkook had not only finished the bookshelf but had also fixed the lamp that he’d switched on yesterday but didn’t work.
As he packed up his tools, you blurted, “I’m so sorry. A cup of coffee isn’t enough for all this work.”
He shrugged, a smirk playing at the corner of his mouth. “It’s fine. I had the time. Besides, I couldn’t just let these things stay broken when they’re easy fixes… they mess with my peace.”
You rolled your eyes. "Okay, Mr. ‘I can fix you’ guy. But still..."
An idea popped into your head, and before you could second-guess it, you walked over to the fridge.
“Hey, so, I made pasta last night... It’s not, like, fancy or anything. I was actually craving japchae but, didn’t have the ingredients, so... pasta. Anyway, um, take this as payment? I mean, if you want... It’s not much, but it’s food, so... yeah.” You hesitated, still unsure about offering your cooking. It wasn’t exactly top chef materiall. You offered the container to him.
His smile widened as he took the container. “Pasta works. Thanks. Wow, honestly, I’m enjoying getting paid more than I thought.”
“Good,” you quipped, opening the door for him. “Maybe we can negotiate a discount next time?”
He chuckled, giving a lazy wave as he stepped out. “See you, YN.”
The next morning, when you opened your door to start your day, a paper bag greeted you. Inside was your container, now filled with japchae, and a note:
“I cooked too much last night. – JK”
⚰️ buried things
Slowly, without meaning to, Jungkook became a constant in your life.
Before you even realized it, you found yourself spending more and more time in each other’s apartments, as if it just... happened.
You slowly started making space for each other in the chaos of your busy lives, finding yourselves yapping away at the end of each exhausting day.
You’d talk about the most random and dumbest things—the mundane happenings in the apartment, his annoying coworker that he’d impersonate to perfection, or your professor, whom you were pretty sure was having an affair with one of the faculty staff.
And you’d end up laughing so hard, you’d be on the floor, tears in your eyes.
He’d fix things for you without you asking or pick up on the little things you’d meant to take care of but forgot.
He’d listen to your mindless ramblings. You’d catch yourself mid-story, realizing you had already told him this a million times before—and you’d apologize. But Jungkook would just look at you, smile, and say, “It’s okay, I like hearing this story. Especially the part where you—“ and he'd lean in, genuinely interested in what you said.
It was like he saw all the tiny messes in your life, both literal and figurative, and took care of them because he wanted to. It was just in his nature.
And somehow, you started feeling more and more comfortable talking to him about everything—those random, unfiltered thoughts that flitted through your mind. You didn’t feel the weight of being judged or the worry of being too weird.
You didn’t even know when it happened, but somewhere along the way, you started really noticing him. It wasn’t just that he was attractive—though, of course, he was—but there was something beyond that.
You noticed little things.
Like, how good he smelled, that subtle hint of fresh laundry mixed with his cologne. Or how he’d touch his ears when he got shy.
And oh, food! The way he got so dramatic about it. When the food was amazing, his face would scrunch up like he was about to start a fight with anyone. It was like he was angry, but also excited, and it was so ridiculously endearing.
But the one thing you couldn’t ignore anymore is the way his eyes lingered on you. Not in a way that felt strange, but in a way that felt like he saw you.
There seemed to be stars in his eyes, and sometimes they lit up even in the dark, appearing brighter when you smiled.
The things you've buried are clawing their way to the surface, and it terrifies you.
It’s been ages since you allowed yourself to truly feel.
How do you face what’s been hidden for so long?
So, you do what’s easiest, what’s most familiar:
🫥 avoidance
You avoided him again.
This is the best course of action.
When you heard his door open, you’d pause mid-step, holding your breath until you were sure he’d gone inside.
If you were in the hallway when he appeared, you’d suddenly remember something you “forgot” in your apartment and make a quick retreat.
Once, you almost tripped over your own shoes in your rush to slam your door shut. Smooth.
"People can only meet you as deeply as they've met themselves."
And you're not ready to meet yourself at the level life is requiring you to be at.
But Jungkook noticed. Of course, he did.
One evening, there was a knock at your door.
🚪open the door
You hesitated before opening the door, uncertainty gnawing at you. Were you ready for this?
When you did open it, there he was—Jungkook, standing with his hands shoved deep in his pockets. His expression was unreadable, but his eyes—his eyes were searching.
“Are you avoiding me?” he asked, blunt as ever, but his tone was gentle, almost hesitant.
“No,” you replied too quickly, the word almost sounding like a question.
He raised an eyebrow. “Then stop pretending you don’t see me in the hallway. Stop shutting the door before I can say hi. Stop avoiding me.”
You winced, retreating into the safety of your living room. He followed, shutting the door quietly behind him. “I’m not—”
“Sure. You’re just too busy, right?” he said, his voice softer but laced with frustration.
You folded your arms defensively. “I am! Work and school are killing me, Jungkook. I barely have time for myself, let alone anyone else.”
Silence hung between you.
When you finally turned back to face him, he sighed softly. Slowly, he stepped closer, his hands still buried in his pockets as if to keep them from reaching out.
“I’m sorry,” he said softly, his voice low and steady. “I just… I feel like you’re avoiding me, and I don’t know why, or if I’ve done something wrong. That’s all.”
You shook your head, unsure of how to respond. Confrontation wasn’t your strong suit, and right now, you felt cornered.
"I’m sorry," was all you could manage.
For a moment, neither of you spoke. The silence wasn’t awkward, but it was heavy, charged. His gaze didn’t waver as it traced over your face, as if searching for some hidden clue. Your heart raced beneath the weight of it.
“What?” you asked, your voice barely a whisper.
“I need to tell you something,” he said, his tone serious but gentle. “But you don’t have to do anything about it, okay? I just... I can’t keep it to myself anymore.”
You froze.
His eyes held that look—like he was about to spill something that had been bottled up for too long.
You’ve never been good with spilled milk. Do you just wipe it up? What if it’s too much to handle?
Can you just leave it and cry? Panic crept in, and you took a step back.
No no no.
“Jungkook—”
“I like you, YN” he said, cutting you off. His voice was steady, but his hands fidgeted with his thumb, betraying the tension in his body. You caught the slight tremble in his fingers as he continued, “A lot. And I know I wasn’t exactly subtle.”
Your breath caught. “I... I don’t know what to say—”
“It’s okay,” he said, his words softer now, warmer. “I just needed to tell you, because it’s been sitting with me for a while. I don’t expect anything from you. There’s no pressure to respond or feel the same way. I just think…you deserve to know how amazing I think you are. That’s all.”
There it was. Spilled.
You stood there, frozen for a moment, as his words settled around you, your mind scrambling for the right words, but none came. His gaze held yours, patient and kind. He took another step forward, his hands reaching up to gently rest on your shoulders.
“Hey,” he murmured, his voice barely above a whisper. As if he read the questions in your head, he added, “It’s okay. You don’t have to figure everything out right now.”
He reached up, tucking a strand of hair behind your ear, his warm fingers brushing your cheek for just a moment.
You felt a shiver run through you at the softness of his touch and closed your eyes, letting it linger.
“Okay,” you whispered, more to yourself than to him.
“Okay,” he said, his lips curling into the faintest smile.
And for the first time in a long time, you didn’t feel rushed.
You didn’t feel like you had to fix anything, clean up the mess, or even apologize for the things you couldn’t face.
It was enough to just be.
🖤 crack
You feel like dying. No seriously.
Achy, feverish, and barely able to breathe through your nose, you debated ignoring the insistent knock at your door. You know it is Jungkook, who else?
You open the door to find Jungkook standing there, his bunny smile all teeth flashing and eyes crinkling. “Hey, I cooked too much last night,” he says, holding up a huge container. But his smile fades into concern when he sees your state—blanket draped over you, eyes red.
“Wait, are you sick?” he asks, placing his hand on your forehead.
“Yeah, I feel like dying. I’m just gonna sleep it off—”
“You need to eat and take medicine,” he cuts you off as he steps inside.
“Jungkook, I’m literally contagious—”
“My immune system is strong, I’m not gonna get sick,” he says confidently, already heading into your kitchen and rummaging through your cabinets like he lives there.
“What are you doing?” you ask, wanting him to leave so you can go back to bed.
“I’m gonna reheat the food so you can take your medicine,” he says, placing the pot on the stove.
“Don’t you have work?”
He waves you off. “I’m not going in. My strong immune system and I are staying here,” he says with a gentle smile.
You groan, leaning against the doorframe of your room. “You’re gonna get sick too!”
“Nah,” he says, stirring the pot with a ladle. “But if I do, you’ll owe me, and I’ll think of something as payment.”
You blink at him, too sick to come up with a sharp reply. “You’re impossible.”
“You’re stubborn. Now, let’s get you to bed while we wait for your food.” He smiles as he gently guides your shoulder toward the bed.
You obey, mostly because you don’t have the energy to fight him, and watch as he moves around your apartment, reheating the soup and fussing over your blanket situation, saying it wasn’t warm enough.
You sleep the entire day, letting the sickness take over, but Jungkook makes sure you eat, stay hydrated, and take your medicine. He checks your temperature every four hours and places a damp cloth on your forehead.
When you woke up in the middle of the night, you found him curled up on the couch. You noticed he had changed from his work clothes this morning into sweatpants and a hoodie, which was now pulled over his head, his face smooshed into a pillow. His legs were bent awkwardly to fit your short couch, and the blanket you’d thrown over him earlier had slipped halfway onto the floor.
You shuffled closer, your socks muffling your steps. "Hey," you whispered, gently nudging his shoulder.
"Hey," he mumbled, blinking up at you groggily. "You okay? Need something?"
"Yeah.” You smiled softly, trying to keep the laugh from escaping at how adorable he looked, all disoriented and sleepy. "You to not sleep on my couch."
He blinked at you in confusion, his sleepy eyes squinting. "What? Why? It's fine—"
"Just come sleep on the bed with me. Please?" you interrupted, your arms instinctively wrapping around yourself to ward off the chill.
He stared at you for a moment, his gaze softening as his lips tugged into the faintest smile. "Are you sure?"
You nodded, a small smile tugging at your lips. "Yes. Let’s go."
His smile widened, and the dim light from the lamp caught in his eyes, making them sparkle. Slowly, he sat up, picked up the blanket from the floor, and followed you to your room.
The bed creaked slightly as he slid under the covers beside you, keeping a noticeable gap between you both. His movements were careful, as though he was afraid to disturb you more than he already had.
"Don’t steal the blankets," you mumbled, already half-asleep again as you burrowed into your pillow.
"Wouldn’t dream of it," he murmured back, his voice so soft and gentle it felt like a warm blanket of its own.
You felt the faintest brush of his breath as he settled beside you, and the space between you seemed to hum with a comfortable warmth.
You drifted back to sleep with a clogged nose and a full heart.
The next morning, when you woke up feeling more like yourself, Jungkook was gone. But there was a neatly folded note on your nightstand, beside a full water bottle and your medicines neatly arranged.
Take your meds on time, okay? There’s food in the fridge for the whole day. Rest up. I’ll see you tonight. – JK
You sat there, staring at the note, feeling your chest tighten in the best way. Like this tiny piece of paper had power over you. And then, like it was nothing, you felt the corners of your mouth curve into a smile.
When you opened the fridge , you find everything prepped and labeled, you couldn’t help but feel flutters in your stomach.
After eating and taking your medicine, you returned to bed. As you settled under the covers, you heard a crack... but you smiled, because it was just the walls you’d built starting to crumble.
♥️ mush mush
Life with Jungkook had become like a well-worn hoodie—cozy, familiar, and easy. It was a rhythm that felt so natural, you sometimes wondered how you’d survived without it. You’d always thought your schedule, your goals, and that thick wall around your heart left no room for anyone else.
But he didn’t just fit into your life. He expanded it, creating space for you to breathe and for himself to occupy every empty corner you hadn’t realized was there.
You learned his quirky habits, and he learned yours.
His laundry hobby (yes, hobby) was a serious thing to him. Jungkook treated it like a sacred ritual, complete with special detergent and fabric softener combos he swore by. “It’s about the clothes-to-detergent ratio,” he’d explain, holding up his freshly laundered Calvin Klein boxers like a badge.
Meanwhile, you’d start one task—say, doing the dishes—and somehow end up reorganizing your bookshelf because, obviously, that was the logical next step. Jungkook would laugh when he caught you confused, gently nudge you back to the original task, or finish whatever you had left undone.
The cooking thing had become a ritual too. You’d started cooking for each other when time allowed—mostly him, though, because he was always willing to cook. So, on your day off, you decided to surprise him with his favorite dish. When he walked in and saw it, his face lit up, eyes wide with genuine surprise.
“Did you make this for me?” he asked, his voice dripping with surprise, his eyes big and bright.
“No,” you shot back, “It’s for the cute guy right next door.”
“Oh, he’s cute? No, no, he doesn’t want to be called cute. He’s hot, right?” He pouted.
“Yeah,” you replied, taking a bite, “He’s so hot I’m gonna ride his dick someday.”
Jungkook choked—and you couldn’t help but laugh. He looked at you in wide-eyed disbelief, but his smile was already tugging at the corners of his lips.
“Careful, baby.” He smirked. “That’s a very dangerous thing to say.”
You just kept eating like you hadn’t just said something that made your own insides warm. But your bravado faltered when Jungkook leaned closer, his fingers brushing against your lips.
“You’ve got sauce,” he said softly, wiping it away with his thumb. And then—like it was the most casual thing in the world—he brought his thumb to his lips, licking it clean.
The sound he made was enough to make you press your legs together.
Fucking hell.
Of course, you’d had your moments. The intense, messy, make-out sessions that left you breathless and tangled in each other’s arms. But nothing beyond that. Not yet.
Because Jungkook was gentle. Respectful. Even though you could see the hunger in his eyes, he never pushed. Never made you feel like you were anything less than perfect, even with all your hesitations.
It wasn’t that you didn’t want him.
Jesus, have you seen the man? A full-course meal. A body that screams sex, a face that could make anyone write fanfics about him. He could easily be a Calvin Klein model!
But some part of you still felt like crossing that line was final. A seal on something monumental, something with the power to change your world in ways that scared you more than you'd ever admit.
But tonight, as you watched him laugh at your antics and go about his weird little Jungkook ways, you realized something else.
It’s been two months since his confession, and even though he told you he didn’t need an answer, you know deep down that you can’t keep avoiding it.
Jungkook had bared his feelings with such honesty and vulnerability, and even if he insisted he didn’t want a yes or no, you knew better.
Because you knew, deep down, the walls around your heart had fallen…
Crushed, powdered, nothing but dust now.
And as you sat with that realization, you understood something even more profound:
It wasn’t force that shattered them.
It was his gentleness.

Should Have Been Faster
I pushed my coworker down on the bed and was unbuttoning his shirt after ripping it out of his waistband. He moaned and pulled my ear to his mouth, saying, "Fuck, I've been waiting all week for this."
"Me too," I grinned, my hands tossing his tie to the side, but it fell down against his open shirt. I stepped back and crossed my arms, looking him over. We had this arrangement where I would pick up some of the work he didn't want to do, and on the weekends, he would let me possess his body. We have been doing it for so long that now he likes taking the passenger seat every week, and it's less of a trade-off for me.
"So you really want this?" I said, standing there.
"Come on dude, you know the deal." He tried pulling me in, but I pulled back.
"Nah, I think you get more out of this than I do now." I smirked.
"No way." He shook his head.
"Yeah, I think we need to change our terms." I pointed at him.
"Can you just get in me please?" He was starting to get irritated leaning back with his tie keeping his shirt around his neck.
"Fine, fine," I rolled my eyes, jumping onto him. I rubbed my hands together before pushing my whole weight onto his chest. His head fell back, and he was moaning as his skin absorbed me. I rippled into him, his muscles tightening as he grinned. The feeling of ecstasy made it much easier to slip my limbs into his. My legs disappeared inside, and his body bulged out in areas as I slid my body into a comfortable position inside of him. He opened his eyes and gasped as I kicked out what I called his essence. It was something like his spirit or his consciousness, invisible and floating without a body now that I inhabited his.
"Every time it feels amazing." He said. It was easy to smile as the rush of possessing him tingled along my borrowed skin. My cock twitched as I looked up at the for of the original owner of this body. He liked to watch, admiring what he had done to keep his body in shape as I enjoyed it. I would sometimes jump inside and then he would allow me to invite someone over, using his body in ways he never intended.
"And you feel so good every time." My abs tightened when I brushed my fingers over them, lightely tracing them before I slithered my fingers around my hard manhood. I felt it pulsing in my grip, stroking and moaning. I was putting on a show, flexing and moaning like I was doing this for views. A pornstar exaggerating the sounds of his pleasure for those that enjoyed a passionate moan. Each stroke sent a rush of feeling throughout my body, and the closer I got the edge the more I was feeling myself detach from him. This is what I liked doing, entering him and then once I use his cock I let myself get kicked out. I'm actually quite good at keeping control through the pleasure, but there was something about exiting his body and leaving it limp as he leaks out the load I milked out.
"Fuck you're gonna cum." He was floating above me.
"Fuck yeah." I liked that he knew, that he could see how his body would react to my touch and realizing I was about to bust. Just as I felt the shivers of pleasure, I released, my load landing all over his abs as I squeezed myself out of him. I popped right out, a burst of energy as I landed on my feet right in front. His body went limp with his hand tight around his cock. He laughed as he looked at me.
"I should try to get in you like this." He laughed.
"You better hurry before - " I pointed towards the window and in came a large burly essence. It was another spirit of some sort, one that must have been watching. There was just enough time for the large ghost to dive into his body, a bright light emitting from his chest before a random ghost took control.
"Holy, it worked!" He looked down at himself, his hands sliding over his muscles and his fingers becoming slick from my load.
"What the fuck?" My co-worker tried to get back inside his own body, but it was too late for him.
"You should have been faster." The guy said, looking up at the spirit of the real owner and then over to me.
"Hm. Interesting." I said, stepping closer.
"Wait!" He stopped me just as I was getting ready to kick him out.
"Dude, what are you doing? Kick him out and let me back in!" The spirit was floating behind me now, begging me to get his body back.
"What if you let me keep him and I become your personal little slut." The large ghost now inhabiting the body of my coworker reached out and cupped my bulge. I felt it pulse as he squeezed. I was squinting at him as the all of the possible outcomes of this situation flashed before my eyes, all of them making me lean towards letting this random spirit keep this body.
"Are you really thinking about it?" My co-worker was getting agitated.
"Anything you want, I can make it happen." The stranger was unzipping my fly and slipping his fingers inside. I reached out, jamming my fingers into his abs and making him gasp as he felt himself getting kicked out, but just as he looked afraid I went in and made out with him.
"What the fuck?" My co-worker was trying desperately to get back inside, his essence bouncing off his body.
"That kind of tickes." The stranger said, going back into the kiss.
"It's just a little fun. Stick around and watch or maybe there is someone out there willing to let you in." I looked up at the spirit of my co-worker, grinning evily with his real body being inhabited by some other ghost. I was grinding against him when the ghost pushed me off.
"I'm all yours." He said, his eyes full of lust.
I got close to his ear, my breath hot against his skin, and said, "He's all yours. But you are all mine." I reached down and squeezed his cock, making him squirm underneath me as I was pushing myself against him. The essence of my co-worker was gone, having desperately gone out into the world to find something to inhabit. This new arrangement was definitely going to lean in my favor.

A Christmas Kiss
Merry Christmas! This is the SFW lots of fluff version, I am tempted to spend my Christmas writing the NSFW version LOL
Synopsis: Sylus told you he never celebrated Christmas, it was never a big deal. But Christmas holds a special place in your heart. Maybe you can convince him?
“Luke, be careful!”
Just as you utter the words you hear something shatter. You close your eyes and try to steady your breathing. You pray whatever Luke just broke can be fixed or easily replaced. You hold your breath as you bring the last box into Sylus’s office.
“Uhhh… Something may be broken.”
Luke stands over the box, his hand kneading the back of his neck. Kieran kneels by the box and gently opens it. He pulls out a clear crystal wing.
“You didn’t have an attachment to the angel tree topper, did you?”
You sink into the sofa and cover your face with your hands. Worst case scenario. That was the one thing you were excited to show Sylus. You knew he wasn’t big on Christmas, but priceless antiques? He would appreciate that. It was a gift from your grandmother when you moved into your first apartment on your own.
You held your breath to try and stop the sob threatening to escape. You feel the sofa sink next to you. You finally pull your hands away and see Kieran has sat beside you. He gives you a gentle side hug.
“Luke will fix it. Right Luke?” Even with his mask on, you can tell Kieran gives his brother an intense glare. You can’t help but let out a tiny chuckle.
“Uhm… yes. I’ll go find the hot glue gun. It’ll be good as new, promise!” Luke picks up the box and hurries out of the room.
“I’ll make sure he doesn’t make it worse. Sorry Ms. Hunter.” Kieran gets up and heads to the door.
“Thanks.”
You can’t hide the sadness in your voice. You hear the door close and rub your hands together. Why is Sylus’s office so cold all the time when he has a fireplace?
You stand and approach the fireplace to toss in a few pieces of wood. Taking the matchbook from the mantle you light the kindling and watch the fire to flicker to life. As the warmth washes over your face and you finally feel yourself smile. You still have a lot of work to do and plenty of decorations that are not broken. Sylus will be back in a few hours and you want his office to look like Christmas threw up all over it. It’s time to get to work.
You approach Sylus’s gramophone. You always found it funny how Sylus had such an old school record player, but the look he gave you when you suggested an upgrade told you it meant more to him than you realized. You pull out the Christmas Classics vinyl from one of the boxes. While you knew you should wrap it, you couldn’t let this particular present for Sylus go to waste. You place the vinyl on the turntable and gently lower the needle. The soft melody of White Christmas floats through the room and you shiver with excitement.
Over the next two hours you carefully move folders and trinkets aside to make room for snow globes and tiny nutcrackers. You can’t help but giggle at the nutcracker you made just for Sylus. Tara dragged you to a Christmas crafting class and was teasing you the whole time as you struggled with the sheer red tool and ruby sequins.
The nutcracker has white hair, red sequin eyes, a black suit with swirls of red. Of course, you had to include Mephisto somehow. Fortunately, someone in the class had a shifting evol and helped you shape the helmet to look like a crow. More red sequins and some silver and red glitter made Mephisto shine. You chose the nutcracker with the bent arm so you could wrap the sheer red tool around its hand to symbolize his evol.
After the class, you were inspired to make more Sylus inspired Christmas decorations. But you also wanted to use some of your classic Christmas decorations too. You spent an hour packing some of your favorites before heading to the shop to buy some supplies for your crafting projects.
The snow globe was filled with soft white snow and a replica of the pouch you made for him during your impromptu adventure to the grasslands. There were five stockings on the fireplace mantle. Sylus’s name in bold black letters against the bright red fabric with little crow pendants sewn in. Yours with bold purple letters and the plushie pins you won at the arcade over the summer. Luke and Kieran had stockings as well, but when you had told them your plans they begged to decorate their own. Luke went with pink letters and polar bear pins while Kieran went with blue letters and reindeer pins. You hoped they’d be put up every year, starting, hopefully, one of many traditions for the little family you’ve made here in the N109 Zone. The last stocking was a baby stocking with a single black crow painted on the baby blue fabric. Mephisto, once again, would be thrilled.
The mantle was also adorned with garland wrapped with soft white lights, red candles in crystal Santa candle holders. The Christmas tree was delivered right on time and you made sure to take extra precautions to avoid the base leaking after watering. Sylus once told you the carpets in his office were handmade - you were not risking ruining those. It was a challenge to hang the lights and red and silver ornaments on your own, with the tree being over 10 feet tall, but you wanted it to tower over Sylus. Thankfully Luke and Kieran agreed to let you finish decorating alone after the angel mishap and found a stepladder. Luke was still trying to fix the angel, but you could tell it wasn’t going well from the updates Kieran was giving you.
You hung the wreath made of dark red Poinsettias above his desk. Twinkle lights framed the bookshelves. Fuzzy Christmas blankets and pillows lining the couches and chairs. You sat on the couch admiring your work before looking through the box at your feet for any final additions. Sylus would be home any minute and you wanted to change into a Christmas sweater and be in the kitchen baking cookies when he arrived. You found a small box with a few floral pieces. One stuck out to you, it was a cluster of mistletoe.
You wouldn’t need that. Or… maybe… You had been dating Sylus for a few months now, and while you were relieved he was taking things slowly, you were also wondering when he’d take the next step. Or was he waiting for you to take the next step? You were anxious and didn’t want to ruin anything. But this was your first holiday season together and maybe this was the perfect time to take that step. Staring down at the mistletoe in your hand, you square your shoulders and rise to your feet.
You drag the stepladder to the door of his office, you confidently climb the steps and stretch your arm up to secure the mistletoe to the frame. Just as the mistletoe is secured, you hear it, the doorknob jiggles and you don’t have time to react before the door swings open. The stepladder tips and you feel yourself fall. But you’re only airborne for a moment before you land in someone’s arms. Sylus cradles you to his chest, the look of surprise on his face almost makes you laugh. You’ve never seen him caught off guard before.
“What a surprise. I was wondering why Luke and Kieran were trying to keep me out of my own office. You’ve been busy, sweetie.”
You watch as he takes in the room around him, still holding you close. You finally release a shaky breath and giggle as he blinks rapidly taking in the new decor. You dare to glance just above him to make sure the mistletoe is still secure. When your eyes flick back to Sylus’ he is staring at you. You can feel your cheeks warm under his gaze. He raises a brow and before you can distract him he looks up.
“I have a lot to show you! I made some decorations just for you and I was going to bake some cookies. Tara also taught me how to make the best hot chocolate, I thought we could make that. And I brought some Christmas movies, did you hear the music? I got you a record and --”
You were rambling, you couldn’t stop yourself. Sylus looks down at you in his arms, a smirk forming on his lips and a brow raised. He finally cuts you off.
“Mistletoe? Are you trying to tell me something?”
You are absolutely trying to tell him something, but you didn’t want to be this obvious. He wouldn’t have seen it immediately if you hadn’t fallen from the ladder.
“Of course not! It’s just a decoration!”
Sylus smiles at your rushed explanation. You wonder if he’ll read between the lines and take the hint. You hung it up, you are ready for the next step, for your first real kiss with him. And if you’re honest, so much more. You held his gaze, falling silent. But instead of leaning in, he drops you to your feet. And he turns to walk further into the room.
Your heart hammers in your chest. He knows. He has to. You tried to make it seem like it wasn’t significant. But you knew he preferred it when you were direct with your intentions. He was punishing you. Your hand moves on its own and you grab his arm before he can move further away from you. He turns back to look at you and you stare at him silently, trying to convince yourself to just do it. Just be bold. If you see something you want, take it.
“Something you want to say, kitten?”
You’re done waiting, you push up onto your toes and put your arms around his neck. Your lips press against his, gently at first. You’re not sure what washes over you, but you feel brave and powerful. You take his lower lip between your teeth and pull him to you. His hands find your hips and he pulls your body close. You feel his chest vibrate as he grunts in approval. You feel nearly delirious when you finally pull back. He must feel the same, with his ears turning red and his eyes misty.
His arms wrap around you and he pulls you back to him. His lips crash into yours now, you could tell taking it slow was the last thing on his mind. You thread your fingers through his hair. His hands move down to the back of your thighs, he lifts you and you wrap your legs around his waist. You hear the office door close behind you before you are carried into the room. You feel heat across the right side of your face and you turn your head, allowing Sylus to dive into your neck placing kiss after kiss. You’re in front of the fireplace, the heat from the flames damn near suffocating as you try to catch your breath.
Sylus lowers to the floor, he positions your legs over his lap. One of his hands holding you upright while the other caresses your cheek, explores your thigh, your ass… He kisses you fervently, his tongue tracing your lips begging for permission. You can’t help but smile as you finally let him in, his tongue tangling with your own. It feels like hours before he finally pulls away and rests his forehead against yours.
“I knew you put that up for a reason…” His voice is breathless and raspy, making you giggle. Let him be cocky about being right, you know now more than ever, that you have this man wrapped around your finger.
“I didn’t realize we’d end up making out in front of the fireplace, I would have put some pillows down here.”
“Use me as your pillow then.”
He shifts and lays back on the floor, settling you on top of him. Your hands placed firmly on his chest, his hands rubbing your back ever so slightly sending tingles down your spine. You feel your stomach tighten as you stare at him. This man, he is feared by so many, but you have never felt safer. You want to stay here, laying on top of him in front of the fireplace, forever. No one vying for his attention, no Wanderers to fight. Just the two of you.
“Sylus…”
He puts a hand behind his neck, lifting his head to look at you better. You almost choke on your words, you were just thinking about how you two were taking things slowly and now… You wanted more. But would he want to?
“Yes, my beloved?”
You loved when he called you that. He started using it more often after getting back from the grasslands. And every time you catch yourself thinking about what life would have been like if you both had stayed. What would you be doing right now?
“I know what I want for Christmas.”
“Oh? But you said ‘No presents Sylus, I mean it’ just two days ago.” You roll your eyes to avoid blushing at his impersonation of you.
“I changed my mind.”
“Alright, what do you want?”
“You.”
He stares at you, his eyes wide with surprise. His ears start to turn red and you know he’s thinking up a snarky comment to make you just as flustered. But not this time. You weren’t going to lose your nerve, you were on cloud nine and didn’t want to let this moment slip away.
“You. Your time. Your space. Even your silly comments that drive me crazy. I just want you. And only you.”
You’ve never known him to be speechless, but he doesn’t even try to say another word. His lips pressed together, his jaw clenched. His eyes burrow into yours and you watch as every wall he built up comes crumbling down. Just like you feel entirely safe with him, he feels entirely safe with you. He caresses your face and you drop your gaze, feeling the weight of your confession hit you like a tsunami. He lifts your chin to look at him.
“You’ve always had me.”
His lips find yours once more. You hold his face with your hands, sighing deeply as his hands drift from your waist, to your hips, lower and lower…
“I FIXED IT!”
You pull away from Sylus in a rush and you both look over to the door of the office. Luke and Kieran stand in the doorway, it seems they are frozen as they take in the scene before them. You, laying on top of Sylus on the floor in front of the fireplace. They start to slowly step backwards out the door when you spot the angel in Luke’s hand.
“Wait! Oh my god! You did! You fixed it!”
You roll off of Sylus and stand up. Eagerly jogging around the couch to them.
“Yeah, it wasn’t easy and it, ughh… might not be like it was.” He hands you the angel timidly.
You inspect the angel. The bumps of the dried hot glue and the tiny cracks and chips that couldn’t be repaired. You hold it up to the light and glance behind you, spotting a tiny rainbow square on the floor.
“It’s perfect.”
Luke sighs, relieved. Kieran pats his shoulder and tugs at his jacket urging him to follow him out of the room. Luke nods his head and skips out of the room behind Kieran, closing the door as he goes. Sylus walks up behind you and wraps his arms around your stomach.
“An angel?”
“A tree topper. An antique from my grandmother. I thought you might appreciate it being, well… unique, vintage? It’s my favorite.”
“Then it’s my favorite too. Let’s put it on the tree then?”
You nod, not bothering to hide the smile on your face. He lifts you and places you on his shoulder. He holds onto your legs as you lean to settle the angel on top of the tree. Once it is secure, Sylus bends to let you hop off. You look up at the angel as Sylus wraps his arms around you once more. You hold onto his arms at your waist and lean back against his chest. You feel his heartbeat, always racing, but steady. Sylus leans down and places a kiss to your temple before whispering into your ear.
“Merry Christmas, my love.”

Trash TV
Dieter Bravo x Personal Assistant Reader
The hotel room buzzed with an awkward quiet, broken only by the faint sounds of the city beyond the thick glass windows. Dieter Bravo sat slouched on the edge of the bed, his hoodie bunched around his hunched shoulders, the fabric stretched tight between his restless fingers. His usual dramatic bravado was gone, replaced by a kind of nervous vulnerability you hadn’t seen before. Maybe it was because he’d never stayed sober this long. Or maybe it was because he’d never been in a relationship that wasn’t driven by his money.
You sat across from him, legs tucked beneath you on the armchair, a hotel robe loosely draped over your frame. This was your first Christmas as not just his personal assistant but also *kind of* his girlfriend. You hadn’t put a label on your relationship, but he’d stayed sober for you and become surprisingly faithful. You never thought you’d see Dieter Bravo clueless about someone flirting with him—yet when the receptionist tried, he brushed her off, saying he couldn’t wait to see the gifts his lady got him. That’s what you were to him: his keeper, his lady, the one who sorted out his messes but also the one he knew he couldn’t survive without. He wanted you in every aspect of his life, even if it meant staying sober.
It had been an easy night until now—room service, bad movies, and his running commentary punctuating every ridiculous scene with remarks about how he’d do better. But something had shifted—a shadow crossing his face during a rare quiet moment. And now you were here, trying to figure out what he’d never say aloud unless it forced its way out.
“I’m not lovable,” Dieter said suddenly, his voice heavy with self-hate. The words fell like stones into the quiet, echoing through you.
You blinked, caught off guard by the rawness in his voice. “What?”
He didn’t look at you. Instead, he focused on the frayed edge of his hoodie, tugging at a loose thread. “I’m fun for a little while,” he said, the corner of his mouth twisting into a bitter smile. “But there’s too much under the surface. It’s more than anyone should have to deal with.” He let out a laugh that sounded painful. “I’m like trash TV—and that’s ironic because I’m a good actor—you watch it for a while, and it makes you feel better about how normal you are, but it gets annoying if it’s all you watch.”
You stared at him, his words hanging in the air like a unspoken truth. He wasn’t joking, not this time. The usual quips and distractions he threw up to keep everyone at arm’s length were gone, leaving only the jagged edges of his insecurities. He sat there, bracing himself for rejection, like he expected you to agree.
“You really believe that?” you asked, your voice softer than you meant it to be.
“I know it,” he shot back quickly, defensively. His hands stilled, and he finally looked up at you. His dark eyes were wide, vulnerable in a way that made your chest ache.
“I’ve been through this enough to know how it ends.”
“How does it end?” you pressed, leaning forward.
“With me fucking it up,” he said, his voice breaking just enough to betray him. “With you realizing I’m...” He exhaled sharply, dragging his hands through his unruly hair. “I don’t know. Too much? Too broken? Take your pick. It always happens eventually. And I’m gonna end up shattered, restless, and totally done with myself.”
The weight of his confession was suffocating, but not for the reasons he feared. It wasn’t disappointment or regret that sat heavy in your chest—it was the sheer force of wanting to prove him wrong. You stood, padding over to the bed and sitting down next to him. He tensed at first, but he didn’t pull away.
“Dieter,” you said, your voice steady. He turned his head slightly, just enough to look at you from the corner of his eye. “You’re not trash TV. You’re far from it.”
He scoffed, but you cut him off before he could deflect. “I’m serious. You’re messy, complicated, and frustrating as hell sometimes. But you’re also funny, smart, and... God, so kind when you let yourself be. You care more than you think you're allowed to, and it scares you.”
His jaw tightened, but he didn’t interrupt. You took it as permission to keep going.
“You’re not some temporary distraction or someone to put up with. You’re just... you. And yeah, maybe you’re a lot, but I’d rather have all of you than none. You don’t have to be perfect to be worth loving.”
His breath hitched, and you swore you saw the faintest sheen of tears in his eyes. He dropped his gaze, his hands wringing together in his lap. “You don’t get it,” he muttered. “You don’t know everything yet. You know more than most, but there are still things…” He knocked on his head. “…things that would scare you away.”
“Then let me see,” you said. “Stop deciding for me what I can handle. Give me the chance to decide for myself. And I’ll show you I can handle all of you.”
He looked at you then, really looked at you, like he was searching for the catch, the lie, the flaw in your words. When he didn’t find it, his shoulders sagged, some of the tension bleeding out of him.
“You make it sound easy,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper.
“It’s not,” you admitted. “But nothing worth it ever is.”
Dieter let out a shaky laugh, rubbing a hand over his face. “You’re either insane or... I don’t know. Insane seems more likely.”
“Probably,” you teased gently. “But that’s why we fit. We’re both insane. A good match, I’d call it.” You nudged his shoulder with yours. “You’re insane for putting up with me. For bringing me my pretty pickles when I’m on my period, or buying my crazy stationery when I’m in a creative mood.”
He huffed a small laugh, the ghost of a smile pulling at his lips. It wasn’t much, but it was a start.
You stayed close, giving him space to process in his own time. He didn’t say anything more, but the way he leaned into you spoke volumes. There was still a long way to go, but at least he wasn’t alone in it anymore.
He was quiet for a while, his breathing calming, his hand finally still in his lap. Then he shifted slightly, turning toward you. When his eyes met yours again, there was something different—a hint of determination under the vulnerability.
“You really think I’m worth it?” he asked, his voice low, almost fragile.
“I don’t think it,” you said softly. “I know it.”
His gaze flicked to your lips for a brief second before returning to your eyes, as if asking for permission. You didn’t hesitate, leaning forward to close the space between you. The kiss started gently, his lips soft and unsure against yours, but soon deepened, filled with a raw desperation and quiet gratitude. His hands cupped your face, trembling but steady, as if afraid to let go. You had shared countless kisses before, but this one felt different—more real, more alive.
When you finally broke apart, your foreheads rested together, breaths mingling in the space between you. Dieter’s eyes were glossy, his expression unreadable for a beat before he whispered, “I think I love you.”
The confession hung in the air, raw and unpolished, but it was everything.
You smiled, your hands resting on his wrists. “Good,” you murmured. “Because I love you too.”
A shaky laugh escaped him, and he pulled you into a tight embrace, his face buried in the crook of your neck. For the first time, it felt like he wasn’t holding anything back. And for the first time, you knew he believed he didn’t have to.
Writing Prompt #2916
"I'm not lovable. Not in the long term. I know that."
"What?"
"I'm fun for a little bit, but there's too much when you dig down. It's more than anyone else should have to handle. I'm like trash TV—you put it on for a little bit and it makes you feel better about how normal you seem but grating if it's all you watch."

Hello? Would it be OK for a (female) human child who basically adopted Shadow as her’s(parent)
You know this is a very interesting idea. Mainly because it implies that the human could have chosen anyone as their parental guardian, yet they choose Shadow known for being the edgelord lol
Me????
shadow x humanchild!reader (platonic)
————————————————————————
Now when the whole sonic crew had asked who you wanted to stay with for the night no one was expecting you to choose Shadow.
heck, not even Shadow could believe it. Not that he let it show on his face, but he knew kids didn’t really like him. Most of them got scared and avoided him or would start crying.
but you,… you were practically glowing and cheering in excitement when he agreed.
he just couldn’t say no to you.
he knew children could be impulsive with their decisions, but you where dead set on staying with him. And no one opposed, some because they knew he’s lived with humans before, others because that’s what you wanted.
Regardless you were very happy to be with him.
As he was leading you towards his bike he hadn’t realized you didn’t have the gear to join him in the first place.
And not wanting to risk you falling off, he decided to just teleport the both of you.
As he went to pick you up, you latched yourself tight small giggles escaping you, “ha, I caught you.”
Your childishness bringing a small smile on his face. “Hmm, so it seems.” Your own giggles intensifying at his reaction. You didn’t know why, but he made you feel safe.
Following his instructions to close your eyes, feeling as skin got cold, you gripped a bit tighter as everything got lighter.
Once you felt gravity again your head felt a little drowsy.
His hand hovering over your forehead helping it stay in place. You had passed out. The teleportation taking a toll on your small body. He wasn’t sure how to care for you exactly, but he knew a good start was food.
After setting you down on the couch he headed towards the kitchen. Opening an old recipe book Vanilla gave him. Scanning the pages he choose one that you might like.
A smell hit your nose, whatever it was it smelled delicious. The scent feeling familiar as your eyes fluttered open.
You were in a living room, no one was there but you could hear someone in the next room.
As you crept closer the scent got stronger. Hunger was also making itself evident the longer you sniffed the air.
“Oh, you’re awake.”
Jolting in place, you twist your head and see him. He had some cooking utensil in his hand. “I made some food, do you want some?”
He was gentle with his words, making sure to be patient for your response.
At first he was worried when he saw you walking around. You were calm but so tense, almost as if you were afraid. But as he waited, he saw your worries slip from your face as smile stretched and your eyes twinkle.
You were practically jumping off your tiny feet when he mentioned food. Having everything set you both sat down to eat.
At some point you did ask why he eats the smelly beans without cooking them, and he simply responded he’s always eaten them like that.
when he got up to pick everything up, you shoved a handful of those smelly beans before he could stop you. “Wait— those aren’t for kids,” it was too late. you had eaten some of it, and spit out the rest.
Your face red as you gagged trying to get rid of the taste made him chuckle. He had forgotten how impulsive children could be.
The next few hours went flying. Y’all had tried some games you knew: tag, hide-in-seek, and princess and dragons. He was the princess lol. All in all, he enjoyed the pure joy you brought in the little things.
Usually anger and a strange emptiness was the primary emotions he always felt. Which is why he’s surprised at the peace your presence brings him. It makes him want to be silly just to see your smile and giggles.
You were definitely growing on him.
As he made sure you were tuck in bed your voice whispered through the air, “Shadow, thank you for choosing me.”
…Choosing you?
If anything you had chosen him. Your eyes were already closing but he didn’t want to leave it at that.
“Kid, Im the one that should be thanking you.”
And with that your soft breaths filled the room. He may have only met you recently, but in that short time you managed to give him a purpose.
You needed him, and he needs you.
He’s not a perfect guardian, but maybe, just maybe, he can learn for you.

THOUGHTS/HEADCANONS ABOUT THE ITHACA SAGA
SPOILERS
Yes, Odysseus learned from Scylla (he used the light of the torches to find his targets) and Poseidon (he showed no mercy) but can we talk about the parallels with Polyphemus?? The "enough"??? Hello??? I don't know you but after he says it, in the chorus where they say "Odysseus", I can hear "Polyphemus".
The way his voice kept going down down every time he talked to the suitors because he was PISSED but how it came back to normal when he just said "No". That man was proud of himself in that moment.
At the end you can hear the "Just a Man" melody because Penelope loves him despite all of the horrible things he has done because, after all, he is just a man who was trying to go home.
Both his mother and his wife waited for him for years, he lost his mother because he was too late and he would have lost his wife too if he had gotten there any later.
Telemachus was scared his father wouldn't embrace him as his own because he thought he couldn't live up to who his father was.
"My son I'm finally home!" I'M CRYING I CANT OMG HES FINALLY HOME FINALLY.
Kind of wish we had more moments between Athena and Odysseus and between Telemachus and Odysseus.
His aim was always to come home to his wife and son BUT he started becoming the "monster" when someone was threatening them: he killed the infant because his family would have been hurt if he had let him live, he tortured Poseidon because he wanted to destroy Ithaca, he killed the suitors because well- you know.
At the beginning of "Would you fall in love with me again?" Odysseus sighs and says Penelope's name but later he opens the door and she starts to talk (sing), he was mentally preparing himself to face his wife, he was facing the fact that he did all of this to come back home but that she may not love him anymore (for a good reason). Penelope sings about doing things for love and Odysseus doesn't understand that she is still talking about him. HE Is the best of them all, HE is the one whose aim is true. He thinks she's ready to find a new love.
Penelope is such a smart character omg. She spent 20 years with suitors breathing down her neck, she understood that her time was running out, she made an impossible challenge AND she helped her husband realize that she would love him no matter what. He spent so many years trying to survive, she knew sweet words wouldn't have helped. The queen of Ithaca and of avoiding miscommunication.
I was a bit mad at Odysseus for his reaction to Penelope's request to move the bed (the music in the background gave me anxiety, it felt like he was getting angry) but that went away as quickly as it came, I'm glad they are okay.
I love how it all ended with "I love you", that's all Epic was really about. Odysseus made so many mistakes, suffered so much, all because of the love he has for his family.
-
These are just my opinions, please no hate! I'm a bit tipsy and English is not my first language so there could be (there will be) so many mistakes.💐

Oops I thought about Mithrun and Senshi too much and now the ship has sailed, sorry, it's cresting the horizon there's no point in even waving anymore.
(Cross-posted from a thread I wrote on bluesky yesterday.)
Mithrun was already fond of Senshi because Senshi is the person who made him feel like he deserved to keep living, so during the first year or so when the new kingdom is still getting settled Mithrun hangs around Senshi whenever they happen to cross paths.
Somebody mentions to Senshi that Mithrun wanted to learn to make noodles, so Senshi thinks that's why and is happy to teach him. Senshi is also trying to make a concentrated effort to unlearn his prejudices, and Mithrun turns out to be easy to talk to. He doesn't mind answering any odd questions Senshi has, or admitting when he doesn't know something. He'll also explain his own motivations (when he understands them himself) so even with Senshi's blunted social skills they can understand each other.
So it just makes sense for them to move in together! Neither of them is going to live in the city full-time, Senshi enjoys cooking for another person when they ARE both home, and they can report back to each other when they've seen particularly dangerous/delicious monsters on their trips. Logic!
Neither of them has a strong sexual/romantic drive so it's a solid decade before they even think to put a label on it. There are small changes here and there over the years though. Senshi learns Mithrun can't sleep without being lulled into it so he always makes him a filling snack and a warm drink. He keeps an eye on Mithrun's health and schedule. He likes doing this kind of thing, it feels good to have someone to take care of.
It's not perfect, of course. Mithrun has trouble expressing what he likes and wants, and since he's usually pretty blunt unless he's being bitchy Senshi has no idea when Mithrun is upset. Senshi can get upset about stuff too, and Mithrun has to learn to do things that seem pointless to him because they make Senshi happier.
(yes this is about doing the dishes)
And then one day while they're eating Senshi gently tucks Mithrun's hair behind his ear because it's gotten a little long and is suddenly overwhelmed with affection and the urge to do... something. He should do something here, right? So he offers to tie it back, but that's harder than expected.
Senshi tracks down Chilchuck to ask him how to do hair, and Chilchuck catches on immediately and is like, "lol, weird, you do you though man, congrats." Senshi is baffled and Chilchuck passes the lesson along to Flertom instead (her hair is most similar to Mithrun's). After that Mithrun heads out on his missions with his hair neatly pulled back and always returns once the braids have completely fallen apart.
Eventually Senshi is able to put a name to his feelings and realize he's felt this way for a WHILE, so he tells Mithrun he loves him. Mithrun says, "It doesn't feel the way it did before, but I care for you, your happiness is important to me. Being parted from you would be deeply unpleasant. I don't know if there's a name for this feeling other than 'love.'" And then reveals he inquired about dwarvish marriage customs EIGHT YEARS AGO and has had the rings in his room this whole time. Senshi, tearfully, accepts.
They have a quiet ceremony that weekend and forget to invite anyone.
Senshi eventually remembers to tell his friends, who are differing levels of surprised. Mithrun sends formal notices to the people who matter back in the elven kingdom and causes a HUGE scandal. He's quietly thrilled about this.
People who assumed Senshi and Mithrun were together this whole time and only mildly surprised they weren't already married: Laios, Falin, Kabru
(Kabru sees Mithrun often and always politely inquires "how are things with Senshi back home?" and Mithrun always says "good." or, rarely, "he's mad at me. 😑")
People who knew they weren't officially together but aren't surprised it turned out this way: Chilchuck, Cithis, Mithrun's brother
(Obrin came to visit once and Mithrun introduced Senshi as "this is Senshi, I like him." and Senshi was like "aw, I like you too! 🥰" and Obrin was just like "......hm!")
People who are absolutely blindsided: Marcille, Pattadol
(Marcille thinks love is supposed to be INTENSE and OVERWHELMING and LIFE-CHANGING and like, it can be but calm down.)
People who literally never wondered about them at all: Izutsumi
(Izutsumi lives with them, as much as she lives with anybody, she just doesn't care. She actually likes Mithrun's cooking better because he will serve her plain noodles without a word and Senshi is devastated by this.)
I'm not sure if they have sex. I think they would at least try it to see if it's for them. It does help Mithrun fall asleep! And I think Senshi would definitely enjoy being able to make Mithrun really come undone.
Not much really changes after they get married, they still have their own rooms, they still live largely separate lives. Except Senshi no longer has to worry about maintaining personal space when spending time with Mithrun. You're allowed to hug and cuddle your husband whenever you want, right? That's part of the whole deal!
Mithrun likes it but only Senshi can tell, at least until Mithrun starts reciprocating. Somebody who doesn't know they're together sees Mithrun wander over and lean on Senshi like an armrest and they're like "uhhhhh is that racist?" and somebody else is like "no no they're just like that."

Summary: an au where Touya was taken into custody after his initial fight with Shoto. Now, Touya begins to process his own thoughts, after a long time of keeping them so pent up.
Warnings: Language, mentions of blood, implied ab*se
Touya Todoroki x gn!childhood friend reader
✦•······················•✦•······················•✦•······················•✦
Touya hadn’t cried in a long time. He couldn’t, really. Not with his tear ducts burn shut the way they were. He could sure try, but no matter how low he felt, tears never spilt, only blood peeked out from under his burns. So in summary, he always found himself left high and dry, even by his own body. So yes, he couldn’t cry.
But today, he sure wished he could.
Maybe it was the loneliness that he put himself into by staying in his room all day. Maybe it was the short interactions that Shoto had tried to keep with him. Maybe it was the look on your face when you would come in and give him his medications, the sad, distant look of a lover seemingly pushed to the side.
Or maybe it was his mother’s eyes when they met his that chill winter day.
He kept his curtains open that morning. It was snowing, and he rather liked watching the cascading snowflakes hit the ground and pile into patches and eventually become an even layer of snow. He’d always found days like this relaxing, even as a child. He loved snow, whether he’d tell anyone that or not. Of course, this was mainly because it reminded him of his mother, but once again, he’d never tell anyone that.
——
“mom mom! I made a Snowman!!”
Little Touya grinned with delight as he ran up to her, watching his breath billow in the air as he looked around, his fire canceling out the cold to make the snow quite enjoyable. Rei smiled, and it seemed to him like her very expression canceled out the cold too.
“it’s lovely, sweetheart! You did good”
she said warmly, ruffling his fluffy white and red hair as he grinned up at her. As he looked at her up close now, he noticed her eyes were puffy, and his expression changed rather quickly.
“mom? Is everything okay? You look a little sad”
he spoke quietly, his little hands cupping her face and dragging her closer to him absentmindedly, frowning so much it turned into a pout. She smiled again, another bright warm smile to cover up the sorrow.
“everything’s fine, Touya”
He blinked up at her for a minute, his thumb wiping away a tear as it fell, his brow furrowing at the warm liquid as it hit his skin.
“heyyy..”
he pouted, fixing her hair slightly.
“what?” She laughed, tilting her head.
“please don’t cry. Promise?”
he said, offering her his own smile as he gently pat her cheeks. She faltered before her smile got a bit bigger as she wiped away the tears.
“alright, I promise”
——
He had known back then exactly what had happened before she’d come outside. Whether he really understood then was a different story, but he knew that even someone so reserved and calm needed help cheering up sometimes. What an innocent kind of love. Sometimes he wished he could have held on to that, as tight as he could. He’d never have let go of her or that love if he’d been given the choice, but here he was now, sitting alone as usual.
So he quietly watched out the window for what felt like hours, the tense silence he’d created for himself finally melting away into a sort of thoughtful peace.
Till of course, there was a knock at the door. He let out a gruff ‘come in’, not bothering to even peel his eyes away from the scenery outside. He’d finally relaxed, maybe you and Shoto would see that and let him be. But it was not you or Shoto who had knocked. Maybe he should have realized by how soft the knocking was- Shoto always knocked three times, and was firm, and polite and waited, where as you knocked twice, and rather quickly, and typically didn’t wait for his answer. But this knock was far too gentle, he didn’t realize who it was until she spoke.
“Touya…can we talk..?”
He froze like the very snow on the ground as his eyes moved to the door. There, in all her reserved grace, stood his mother once again, her soft gaze steady as she watched him.
These little visits were gonna be the death of him.
“I know you’re having a hard time…but…”
Her voice was impossibly soft as she approached his seat by the window, kneeling in front of him.
“but I want you to know I don’t blame you…for any of it…and you shouldn’t either.”
He stared at her for a minute, the breeze outside making the walls creak slightly as snow billowed past the window next to them. He wasn’t sure where this was coming from, he wasn’t sure how she’d come to this conclusion, but he was too scared to say anything. He didn’t want her to leave.
She continued to speak, blinking up at him as her steady soft voice began to tremble.
“I know you’ve had it harder than all of us…I wish-”
She cut herself off, tears pricking her eyes as she took a deep breath.
“I’m sorry. I should have been there.”
He stared down at her as she began to cry, her hands trembling as she clutched at his pantleg, resting her forehead on his knee. He wanted to move, wanted to tell her to leave so he didn’t have to see this. He paused, hesitant as he lifted his hand. Should he stop her? Should he push her away again?
no. No, he didn’t want that.
so, slowly, he rested his warm hand on her cold head, rubbing her head gently as he smoothed over her hair, absentmindedly trying to relax her. She looked up at him, absolutely silent as he fixed her hair. He wasn’t entirely sure why he was doing it. Maybe it was because he had this picture perfect vision of her in his mind, that she was always cool under pressure, even when she was sad. Yeah, he had a feeling It was because he was the reason she wasn’t any of those things right now.
“…mom?”
she blinked, his hoarse voice cutting through the thick sad silence.
“yes, Touya?”
He was silent for a minute, not even noticing as a few drops of blood slid down his cheeks from between his staples.
“please don’t cry.”
She stared at him long and hard, her eyes welling up even more, but after a moment, she nodded, wiping away the tears as she stood, ruffling his pure white hair.
“alright…”
she offered him a warm smile, something he hadn’t seen in a while and yet knew by heart. The way the corners of her eyes crinkled, her barely noticeable dimples, her bright eyes. She finally spoke, her voice as cool and gentle as the snow falling outside.
“will you come join us for dinner tonight?”
she asked with a bit of hope in her tone, anything to get him out of this room.
He stared at her, his eyes never leaving hers as he reluctantly nodded.
“eh, why not.”
she smiled even wider at this, something he’d secretly been hoping for by answering, anything to make her happy.
“great! I’ll come get you later, then.”
and with that, she walked back to the door, stopping to offer him another smile.
“everyone here loves you. I hope you know that”
and with that, she left, leaving him staring at that closed door. He knew what she said was true, whether he accepted it was another thing. But when she said it, he felt… a bit frustrated. Or at least, that’s what he knew that tugging feeling as, anyway.
But why?
He sat and stared outside, no longer paying attention to the scenery as he rummaged through his own thoughts. Every time someone came to speak to him, it seemed he doubted himself more and more, but was it himself he was doubting, or his ideals?
He had wanted for revenge for so long he didn’t even realize that what he needed was solicitude, and this was something he would think about till dinner, as he realized that revenge fell short of what he’d really wanted from the beginning.
Support.

Heyaa dunno if u write NSFW so read no further if you don't!
May we get uhhh Franco Barbi having his... "Lupara" (wink wink nudge nudge) kissed by a reader who happens to be one of his working girls and him being surprised at how sweet and gentle she is with him pls? Also reader is very shy because she's a newbie
Thank uu 😇
Love can be gentle
Franco Barbi x fem!reader
warning : smut, gun play, getting oral m, fluff, comfort, kissing, no use of y/n, nicknames like ma'am and good boy
Summary : It wasn't easy to run a theater, prepare a show and above all be a good boy who would make his mother proud. But even Franco needs a moment of peace and one of his girls has a special eye on the gangster. Perhaps there will be a romance movie for a change instead of just porn on the big screen.
info : Of course you will get something like this dear anon thanks a lot for the request, i had a lot of fun writing it especially for the shy reader it was really sweet. I wish you a lot of fun reading ;)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In his area, his trial, he could do anything he wanted to sleep, drink milk, carve his ammunition from the most beautiful teeth or even turn to his victims who were all like playthings for the gangster whose lust is only surpassed by his love for violence.
Everyone knew Franco Barbi and his brutality but also his genius even down here in the hell of an asylum or wherever they were, nobody really knew and wouldn't think about it for long.
Because either you died in the first few days or you lost your mind trying to understand it...only the fewest still had something like emotions, morals or a mind.
A mind that still worked and a mind that could be used to give something to the more important experiments, like a wind-up toy that kept working instead of breaking.
,,You are his dolls, his girls so try to take it with a pinch of dignity, think of it as babysitting my dears” it was these words before the pills had taken effect and the new batch of prisoners was sent to Franco.
A couple of new pretty girls who would be Franco's poster children and decoys and weapons for his prey, they were bad kids who needed to be punished, he knew it, the dead knew it, they realized it too late and she knew it.
She knew it as well as the black patent stiletto heels on her feet as she made her rounds in the theater, her route now worn out for several minutes as they all did regardless of whether the game had begun or not, ,,Where are you?” she muttered, switching the revolver in her hand again to get her fingers moving again.
Franco had been gone for hours she had only seen him in the morning or however many o'clock it was when he disappeared with a few teeth, nervous and more excited than usual.
A thing she shouldn't really care about, no one should care about anyone here because their own survival was more important but Franco, her boss, her experiment, her sweet boy was something else to her since she met him which had almost resulted in the loss of her head if he hadn't pulled his lupara away when she had introduced herself to him.
This man the gangster psychopath with mother complex had just done it to her, he was cute and misunderstood and maybe it was the drugs, the pills, the gewlat or her lost hope for recovery but she had lost her heart a little to the man-baby.
Before her thoughts could go any further and she hoped that no one had seen her lost in thought look, she heard an unmistakable scream and wailing from afar.
Franco was back and seemed more stressed than usual, she immediately felt worried as she watched him come into the theater by the broken window and the ,,I hope for you dolls you're all on your fucking posts!” scream could be heard, something that seemed normal to the others put her on edge.
Was it normal? Did he want something? Should she go to him? Didn't someone have to calm him down because babysitting was her job, so to speak?
But the warmth on her cheeks and her heart now beating faster than it should didn't make things any better, despite everything she had seen, her nervousness didn't seem to have gone away, let alone her shyness.
Something that wasn't even bad Franco even seemed satisfied that she didn't talk so much because she was afraid to say the wrong thing and couldn't get anything out without dying of heat exhaustion...but now she finally had a chance.
Holstering her gun, she finally broke away from her route and walked down the stairs from the second floor as best the building would allow into the main hall where only he sat, each step making her more nervous, the questions and scenarios she imagined becoming more and more terrifying.
But her shoes betrayed her and the creaking of the old wood seemed to be a scream in the relatively quiet room, ,,What the fuck do you want?” the question from Franco, who had his gun pointed at her, was a shot and she put her hands up briefly, seeing how he seemed to relax as much as possible.
Her voice trailed off for a moment and she cleared her throat before coming to stand in front of him, looking down at him, ,,I...I saw you were nervous, do you need something?” she asked, her fingers clutching at the short skirt that exposed most of her legs to him.
An outfit not quite to her taste but it seemed to do something for Franco whose blue eyes were reluctant to leave her and smirked, ,,Do I fucking need anything? Doll, I don't think you can give me what I need, can you?” he asked, a challenging look in his eyes.
A look that she had often seen, especially when he had found a pretty, beautiful victim whose body he wanted to use for his personal collection, a look that not only made her nervous but also turned her on more than it should.
I'd give you anything Franco she would have liked to scream and get down on her knees in front of him but instead her gaze dropped nervously to the floor and she stammered around the right words, something that seemed to amuse the gangster greatly and he had forgotten his worries, at least for now.
She was new and he had been playing this game for as long as he had been here, it was a game of cat and mouse, a game of knowing and giving in but here she knew he only spoke the language of brutality...but in the few moments she had seen him for herself he was not only alone but also searching for love and gentleness.
Maybe as he didn't have to admit his side she just had to jump over her shadow and whether it was because of the gas and drugs or her love for him didn't matter as she carefully knelt down in front of him and Franco's gaze became curious.
The baby had become interested in what was happening in front of him, a beautiful woman, perfect shoes with heels that could and would surely hurt him, hands that would hit him if he leaned on them and a gun that would shoot if he pulled down her skirt.
Just as he reached his hand out to her, still feeling impatient and angry, she laid her cheek against his hand, her warm cheek seeming almost alien to him since every female body he played with was actually cold.
But this warmth was almost pleasant, so pleasant that he began to caress her cheek lightly, breaking their eye contact every now and then, both unsure if this was the right thing to do, ,,I can show you gentleness...if you like Franco” she began to find her voice seemed to be in the right place as she knelt between his legs looking at him a gentle look meeting his now uncertain one as he was not used to this new feeling.
Her hands moved from her skirt to his white-streaked suit pants, tracing the fabric, the skin underneath squeezing slightly with a pleasant tug, and she plucked up the courage to reach for his gun.
His most important possession, which he also clutched for fear she would take it away from him, ,,Gentleness can also be loving, caring and nurturing,” she continued to murmur, the words escaping her lips and a Franco unaware that such a thing even seemed possible.
But he hesitantly loosened his lupara and her lips kissed the wood and metal, the cold weapon giving her a goose bump that seemed to pass to Franco as he groaned at the sight.
How pretty she was, how gentle she was with such an ugly thing, how her lips kissed along the gun, how his mind interpreted the image into something ambiguous and he felt how he wanted her...but not rough and dead, he wanted that softness she gave him.
She ran her tongue over the barrel of the gun metal and blood tasted unpleasant but not strange and her fingers ran over his strokes, ,,Gentle-gentle is good, the baby will like it” she heard his rough voice as he kept his noises under control not wanting to interrupt her.
She didn't want to lose the idea that had rarely fascinated and above all aroused him so much, an arousal that pressed painfully against his pants and she had seen this long ago when she finished her little performance, encouraged by his reaction.
Encouraged by how he saw her, what he thought of her but most of all that he liked her gentleness was something that gave her the courage she needed as she placed her hands on his cheeks for a moment, ,,A good boy you are Franco, so good for your ma'am” she murmured with the same warm cheeks as she engaged him in a kiss. Franco felt her hold his hands gently on her hips, yet not letting go, he had taken a liking to the new feeling.
Something he'd never had and would now only get from her and he let her pull as her fingers traveled down his torso, running over his arousal, the deformed one whimpering as his fingers dug into the back of the seat instead of gripping her tightly.
The praise did wonders for him, along with the gentleness it was just something he'd never felt before, ,,Your reward baby...for behaving to take some of the stress off you,” she said, and he barely remembered in his fuzzy memory why he'd been so angry when he'd burst in here.
Undoing the button of his pants, she ran her tongue over the fabric of them first and was almost surprised at the hasty movement of his hips, he really was an impatient man.
But she didn't let herself be put off and licked once more over the fabric gently, teasing a little before she freed his cock from the fabric, the whimpering and pleading of the psychopath rewarding her with a kiss on the already dripping tip.
Spreading it a little with more kisses and licks, she was sure he could come from that alone.
He had held out so well for her, responded so well to her praise, ,,Be gentle and Mommy gives you everything,” she said, her hand gently stroking his and he held onto it as a breathless begging continued to come from his lips and she finally took his own 'lupara' in her mouth to show him how gentle and intimate something like this could be.
He just had to behave and be a good boy who simply had to accept the feeling of love and softness if he wanted to continue to feel it on him...because even love is soft.
Some life she hoped
pairing: Jenna Ortega x Fem Reader!
summary: Meeting again after so long wasn't really on your bucket list, neither did you receiving an apology.
A/N: Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I apologize for the inactivity, I've been losing motivation on writing lately and ik this doesn't make up for it but I hope it does something to you 😞, the imagines are rotting in my drafts. Anyways, cheers to another year!
Warnings!: kind of angsty, mostly.. but that's about it!
Masterlist
There was always this nagging feeling keeping me from loving again, these past months I've been feeling nothing but grief. What once was love I couldn't stop giving, turned into something I threw all away after finally leaving my first love.
A year passed by and still, I would look for her at places I hoped she'd be in, for a mere coincidence I might get a glimpse of her, somehow, some way I wish I did. But then, I met Naveen, in a way our love felt so different. She wanted me to be hers, I gave her a chance, more than a few. It all felt like it wouldn't work out, but this last chance I gave her, I held on for dear life for it to actually be true. But it all felt like I was toying with myself more than I do her.
So I let her go, not for me, but for Naveen to find someone more worthy of her love.
.
A place I didn't hope to see her, but there she was, looking flawless as ever. How she looked under the night's gaze, and the stars reflecting on her eyes.
"Y/N?"
Jenna.
"What are you doing here?"
The same reason why you're here.
"Why can't I be? Better yet, what are you doing here?" I chuckled lightly while I felt my heart ache in a bittersweet dream.
She huffs, "I don't know, I just had the idea to... chill here for a bit and dip."
This place, a view of the beach while we're up on a hill with a singular bench. This was where we used to hide away from everyone, from the cruel world.
I quietly made my way towards her, "Mind if I?", she scoots a little further, I sat down with my hands on my pockets.
Winter was our favourite season, we loved watching the beach while listening to the waves and spouting out nonsense. A part of me hoped we didn't end the way we did, I had so much more to tell her that I can't speak about now.
"How are you?" She quips while still having her sight on the beach. I blew out the breath I didn't know I was holding. "I'm good, all's well. How about you?"
"He broke up with me."
He was no good for you anyways.
"How are you holding up?" I cautiously asked while I started rubbing my hands together, it was getting too cold. "I realized, I really needed this, even when we were together it all just felt too suffocating. I didn't need him anyway."
Then why did you disregard me for him just like that?
I hummed with a disdain. But she doesn't need to know that.
"That's good, knowing you're finally... freeing yourself—"
"I'm sorry, Y/N."
I—
"I know what I did to you was wrong, so wrong but I still did it anyway. I wasn't the perfect girlfriend for you, and I know you knew that too."
But, I needed you the most. I wish you at least had the time to think about me, about us. The moment you let go of me, a piece of my heart shattered with you.
"You know, I really meant when I said I hoped we were together in another life. I wish I was better for you there, when then wasn't enough, I hope it's more than enough all the way on a multiverse."
...
I walked mindlessly in the library my friend worked in, I heard footsteps making it's way to my direction, I glance to my right, getting a good look at River, "Did you know? NASA actually finds out that there's more than just one world? I mean- there's this multiverse that's living like us but, in reverse, do you get it?" She looked really excited to share the story with me, and of course it caught my attention.
I chuckled at the thought, walking back to Jenna's place. I walked up to her door and gently knocked. With a click and a swift open of the door, there Jenna stood on her pajamas.
"I have a fact you might like to know."
She giggles at the story I had just told her, "Well if that were true, I hope we lived together in a mansion with millions of animals."
...
"Y- Yeah.."
Tucking my hair, my breathing went rigid as it suddenly felt too hot for me to think. I got up, bidding Jenna a good night's rest.
"Y/N– I... I hope you're doing okay."
I didn't dare spare her another glance. I knew I had moved on from her, but why is it that whenever I think about her, it all feels so heavy?
If I hadn't met you, I probably would have had more love to give.
A/N: this was shit but okay ig, I hope y'all enjoyed this more than I did. I did this in one sitting, so ik it's bad.
may i request ror with a reader that can grant any wish? The conditions are you have to do four things for her if you do the four things you get a wish granted, but if you deny the four requests you die. Thank you if you do this!
-You were a powerful deity, one that many of the gods respected and feared, due to your magic- the power that was your own. It was a good thing however, that you were one of the more mellow gods.
-You got along with most everyone, hung out with humans and gods alike, and not much bothered you, unless if someone was rude to you or one of your friends then it was fair game.
-Your power came from the cosmos itself, coming from the creation of everything, so you had both the power to create and destroy at your discretion.
-As years passed, you became more…cautious with your abilities, which were granting wishes, as in the past many wished for things that should have never been- destruction of whole civilizations, spiders, politics, black licorice and many more terrible- terrible things.
-Many gods respected your new rules to granting wishes, as they had to do something in return for you to use your abilities for them, but many didn’t take too kindly, thinking you were just being selfish because you were powerful.
-Thankfully you’ve got equally powerful friends who had no issues defending you, like Buddha, Hercules, Apollo, Odin and so many more, who told them that it’s your choice to use your abilities and if you want something in return, it’s only fair as you deserve payment.
-You never asked for the same thing twice from those seeking you out- as you would judge their wish on if it was selfish or not, would it cause harm to others, and many other factors.
-The wishes you liked the most were the simple ones, usually from children, asking you for rainy days to jump in puddles, or snowy days to play in the snow. You would always ask for things like spending time with you, taking you out for a walk, eating snacks with you, tell you their favorite games to play in the snow, things they could easily do to get their wishes granted.
-For the more… intense wishes, you always asked for harder things, seeing what they were willing to do, in order to get their wish granted.
-You weren’t a cruel person however, they could tell you their wish then you would name your price, usually four things that would show not only character of the asker, but also if they were worthy enough to have the wish granted. And if they couldn’t pay the price, you would let them walk away, but only at the beginning, and they couldn’t argue with your price, or else.
-If they started with your demands on what you wanted, the pact was sealed and they had to commit to all four things you’ve demanded as payment, or they would forfeit their lives.
-You didn’t like killing others and despite the threat that you would kill them if they didn’t uphold their end of the bargain, you would never kill anyone, you just changed them into small animals, birds, rodents, earthworms for the ones who really ticked you off.
-Many backed out, as what you would demand were things they weren’t willing to give, which you respected and it made many of them grow and realize that they didn’t need you to help them, which is what you wanted in the first place.
-Your friends all knew that you were way smarter than you let on, but seeing this, seeing how people would realize they could make their own wishes come true on their own, was impressive.
-To those who paid the price of your wish, the selfish ones who only cared for themselves, you would always give them one warning, “I hope it was worth your wish.” And 9.99 times out of 10, it wasn’t, and they didn’t realize it until it was too late.
-You could be cruel when you wanted to be, mainly to those who were cruel to get their wish granted, and many learned that you weren’t to be crossed, and many learned they had to think about their wish and think about the price you gave them.
-They had to wonder if the price was truly worth it.
i'm having hyperfixation drought so i did what i did best and created a crossover episode
#trafficblr#life series#hermitcraft#qsmp#the drought's been crazy i had to make qsmp x life series/hermitcraft you don't understand i literally had to#i literally cannot tag all of the cubitos without going over the limit so i'm gonna use them to rant about these doodles instead#when i tell you that i think dl!pearl would've loved tilín i'm telling you i think she would've LOVED them like.#something about just wanting to find love at every turn but feeling unwanted spdihgpisadhfpa. and also tilín's name is similar to tilly LOL#the jelly egg is just like if the double life jelly pandas were just an egg that scar loves with all his heart and grian reluctantly accept#i think out of all the duos in qsmp. the one i would want to see in the dl soumate premise the most is slimeriana. it's the dysfunctionalit#i made a post in the past about pac and tango being my fav cubitos bcs they were both crazy cartoonish and like scientists#but it kinda felt like a disservice to leave mike and zedaph out because to me they're argubly crazier and more cartoonish#missa and tim are paired bcs i just really wanted an excuse to draw the wet cats and it just so happened they both have relations to death#skizz and jaiden as the lawyers who were SHOCKINGLY good at their jobs like they cooked with that one#(was also gonna draw joe and roier as bad lawyers but i was running outta steam)#someone's already made a post about grian and (el) quackity and their eye entities so not much elaboration needed there#fit and etho just give the same vibe to be as a dude who has a reputation and is well-known and seems intimidating#i also made fit's arms way too skinny and i don't like it...but i'm not gonna go back and change it now i spent embarassingly long on this#but then his silliness is brought out by The Narrative#foolish and bdubs is one of my favorite drawings because i just knew i wanted to highlight the silly height difference#just realized they're also both god-like figures at least at some point#cellbit and rendog. cat and dog and lore. enough said about their connection.#i couldn't decide who fit etoiles combat hungry anime protagonist vibe best bcs martyn was originally paired with him#but i wanted martyn with phil so i went with my second options: joel and gem#i couldn't draw them mid rage but essentially the title is derived from “WHO KILLED EMPANADA” and “do me a favor. die for me.”#philza minecraft and martyn inthelittlewood. they feel like twins but one is evil (it's martyn)#SOMETHING I FORGOT THAT I WISH I ADDED: BBH AND BIGB AS THE ENTITIES WHO LIE. I HATE MYSELF HOW COULD I FORGET THAT#if i were to pair impulse with someone it would be tubbo? either him or scar would've been with tubbo#and then lizzie i just did not know who i wanted to pair her with. no one really does it like her in my opinion#scott's someone i also had no idea who to put him with he's just so...him...
Thinking about Azula again...
#i need more people to understand her character and not just dismiss her as an evil person#a pawn or an emotionless husk#i need more people to understand that Ursa isnt a good parent#she married a monster and only realized her mistake after it was too late#once she had Zuko she finally had someone to pour her love into and to make her feel less isolated#so she coddled him and would spend all of her time with him#Ozai is a smart man im sure he noticed and figured out exactly why she was always preoccupied with Zuko which made him have a certain#disdain for his son which only grew as he got older and didnt meet his father's impossible standards#and then came Azula#her mother already had her perfect child so she didnt get as much attention from her#especially when she started showing certain characteristics that were reminiscent of her father#ursa was unnerved by Azula and her difficulty understanding certain things such as empathy#she was certain this child would grow up to be a monster like her father#so she never bothered trying to teach her to be better than him#which left her all to her father#who could groom her into the fire bending prodigy and brutal warrior that we knew in the show#he controlled her and manipulated her into being exactly what he wanted#a puppet and a weapon to be used as he saw fit#and when the curtains lifted ever so slightly from her eyes showing her the reality of her situation she broke#rambles#avatar the last airbender#princess azula
sweet sweet re:kinder community... I would like to ask y'all how you came upon the game and your experiences with it because i wanna know. im genuinely so curious to hear about other people's experiences and little opinions about this game because of how wild the game is (/pos) I'd love to hear it. do ramble to me about it
#re:kinder#not art#so in my case i once saw someone talk about it in a video and some scenes with the very vague context really struck with me#i was like wow...that is so sad... i wonder what goes on#but the thing is i watch videos talking about games like that ALLL THE TIME while im multi-tasking so i FORGOT FOR A YEAR?!?!?#until one day i was sick in pain on my bed could not move. and then it came to me. yes. “RE:KINDER. I SHOULD PLAY IT.” LIKE OUT OF NOWHERE#i will never understand how i dying of pain remembered a game i saw once BY NAME AT LEAST A YEAR LATER when jve heard of so many games#and you wanna know why it stuck with me. i saw in the video an image of the “as if id be reborn as a princess” line#i did not know the context but it was devastating#AND WHEN I PLAYED THE GAME when that scene game i was shocked to silence😭😭 BECAUSE I BASICALLY WENT COMPLETELY BLIND??#I DID NOT KNOW THE LITTLE KID WOULD BE THE ANTAGONIST???? AND THAT HE WOULD HAVE SUCH A SAD STORY??#like. i saw the sad coming i knew it was bound to happen yet i could have never been prepared for how hard it would hit me#I HAD TONS OF FUN but at first when i finished it i was so confused and so lost i was like welll.....what a game... TOO STUNNED FOR WORDS#then i thoughr of it for 20 minutes and bawled my eyes out and realized it was art#so when i got to my second playthrough i CRIED LIKE CRAZYYY😭😭 I WAS BLOWN AWAY IT REALLY HITS YOU#personally it admittedly hit close to home and while it made me bawl my eyes out it was also very comforting i felt very understood#AND IT WAS CRAZY FUN TOO i was not bored once the first time i played through it i was sleepy but i was so excited to keep playing😭😭#its funnt becayse i was initially apprehensive about playing cuz im sensitive to stories where sad things happen to kids#but i played it regardless because i was like “but what if its one of those scary media that hit close to home and i enjoy”#AND I WAS RIGHT. BUT NOT ENTIRELY BECAUSE I DID NOT THINK IT WOULD HIT AS INTENSELY AS IT DID😭😭 IT WAS MYCH MORE THAN EXPEVTED#many ways in which it impacted me but if i started listing them i would not shut up . so for now it is enough#IN SUMMARY WOW.. WHAY A GOOD GAME!! PLAY RE:KINDER!!!#i rambled more than i intended to i do apologize
