Silly headcanons for LU boys!

Time: While he claims to fear nothing, if he saw Princess Ruto, he'd be running for the hills shouting "Not today demon!". He calls Malon "wifey" as his main pet name for her, but will also call her "Sweets" "darling" and "love"

Warriors: He's trans. Fight me on that. My guy has gotten the surgeries he can pay for, and he's happy about that. He also grew up in a more dangerous place so he knows a lot more than he lets on. He's an amazing pick-pocket and can, if he wanted to, stab you literally in the back without even Wolfie or Wild know he was there. Sneaky sneaky. His fear, because I thought it was funny and because he doesn't know the difference between a cow and a bull and has seen too many rodeos as a kid, is cows.

Twilight: SUPER delicate. For how strong he is, he has no idea if one hug will squish someone. He also, even though he's been told not to, will juggle the goats. Don't worry, he asks beforehand to make sure the goats will be okay with it. Twilight is also a HUGE Mama's boy. While he loves his father Time *cough cough*, getting validation from MALON sends him to the stars. Lastly, his fear, because as Wolfie he accidentally breathed them in, is ants.

Sky: We all know him for being sweet and kind and a total beast when someone hurts those he loves, but he also, after hurting those people, will apologize for hurting them cause he suddenly feels really guilty about it. Sometimes, if he gets the chance, he'll carve minifigures of the others and hide them in his pouch, when the others finally found out, his pouch was overflowing with animals, but mostly them. Sky would be the type of person to carve the lead in pencils. His fear, scarecrows. Do I need to say more?

Legend: Oh boy, here we go, Legend is autistic. That's the main thing. Anytime his orchard gives a good production of apples, he gets really excited and will word vomit to anyone close by most of the time it's Ravio since they live together and are dating. He may be an awful cook, but his baking skills can challenge even Wild. He mainly bakes apple desserts, but loves to try new recipes, as long as no one gets in his way. He's a big neat freak and feels really embarrassed when someone sees his house as a mess. Being a hoarder and a neat freak is hard though, so he ends up trying to clean everything and it looks barely better then before. His moto, like mine, is: "if I don't do it now, it'll never get done." Which leads him to collapsing from exhaustion because he tries to do everything at once. Legend has bad joints, surprise surprise, so he drinks tea in the morning and at night to counter that. Because of this cute story I read, I think that whenever Legend is around people that he loves, in a home that he feels safe in, because of a side effect of being Bunny, he will fall asleep right then and there. Finally, Legend fears thunderstorm, for obvious reasons, loosing more people he loves, quite obvious, and Cuccos, also obvious.

Hyrule: Also a Mama's boy. Even though he doesn't know his Mama, though he soon will, he likes to hang around Malon when on the farm and ask all the questions he can think of. He can't read, like most believe, or write, but he is surprisingly really good at interpretation and reading lips. His fear, water, poor baby can't swim and has had too much trauma around it.

Wild: This one's a lot too. Wild is also autistic, and a huge introvert. When first introduced to the chain, he either ran away, or would hide in trees most of the time out of fear of them. Wild actually collects makeup, and dresses, and is really good at hair and applying makeup, though he can't do his own hair for squat. Wild has insanely good hearing from "growing up" in the middle of nowhere, and acts animalistic, ex: growling when he feels he's in danger, whimpering when in pain, when he yelps it sounds more like a yip, curling up in a tight ball when he sleeps. Wild, though he hunts a lot, actually really loves animals, and takes care to only hunt the animals if there are too many, or if the animal is sick or injured beyond repair. When he has a memory, his heart stops and he stops breathing, almost like his spirit has been transported to that point in time. Super supporter in anything, unless it's something that's harmful to his family, ex: transphobia, homophobia, making sexual comments to those who are asexual and/or not interested. Is afraid of anything that reminds him of the Shrine of Resurrection.

Four: Any and every time he exits a portal, his mind splits so the colors are there, but Four is physically the only one there. His shadow always seems to move on its own, and he sometimes talks to it when he's feeling down. If he's given a recipe, he's a decent cook, but without one, his food would turn out like Hyrule's. When he's not spilt, his fingernails are painted. Thumb black, pointer green, middle blue, ring violet, pinky red. When at the farm, he snatches all of the groups armor, weapons, and shields and repairs them, otherwise his favorite chore is to tend to the horses. His fear, I think it's obvious, loosing more people he loves.

Wind: The air around him always smells of salt, and he never seems to run out of energy. Though he hates being the youngest of the group, he does take advantage of it to get away with doing stupid things, until he gets hurt, then he gets in trouble. Being youngest, he obviously gets baby, but there are times where he is the one babying one of the others, and those are times he uses to manipulate the others. He is a pirate, pirate equals treasure hunter, also pick-pocket, also knowing every swear in the book, also having a flask of rum. When the others learn of this, Time confiscates his flask until he discovers non-alcoholic stuff that tastes the same, never telling Wind. Wind's fear, Time's disappointed look.

I wrote this in my headcanon age order, do what you wish with this 😈

you both appreciate the little things soooo much! if the moon looks pretty one night or there’s a pretty sunset, either one of you is tapping each other on the shoulder excitedly and pointing at the sight.

picturessss! he loves taking pictures of you and does it a lot when you don’t even notice. personally, those are his favorite! you’ll be looking over the pictures he took of that day and see one of you and point at it. “when did you take this?” “oh, when we were at the lake. you looked so pretty i couldn’t help it.” you’ll definitely be blushing so hard.

you guys have the best dates! you love just taking walks with each other, trying new restaurants, going to different museums, or just driving around listening to music. you both love exploring new places with each other.

while you guys love exploring, you also love staying in. just being around each other is enough for the both of you. your favorite pastime together is usually when he’s painting with soft music in the background. you sit beside him and write in your journal or read a book. it’s calming and comforting and you both love it.

speaking of painting, you’re his biggest inspiration. if he’s not painting you exactly, he’s painting things that remind him of you. whether that’s a sunset you both saw together that you were geeking over, a bookstore he saw that reminded him of you, or even small little details about you. nevertheless, you’re his muse.

if you can't make it to one of his shows, he usually facetimes beforehand and talks to you for a little bit to calm his nerves down. but if you can make it to one of his shows he’s with you backstage almost the whole time. the boys tease him for it but you calm him down and keep him at ease.

one cute thing you love about your relationship is when you travel with him on a plane, train, or car! you two share headphones and listen to the playlist you two made together. and when you’re both dozing off, you rest your heads on each other's shoulders. the cutest thing fr!

he lovesssss animals, especially your dog! him and your dog are besties and tbh it gets you kind of jealous that your dog likes hyunjin more than you. butttt kkami is all over you when you’re over at hyunjin’s so it’s a win win.

if you guys are apart for a while, he’ll send you songs that remind him of you and send you some of the drawings and paintings he did. he’ll text you good morning and good night and tries to fit a facetime call if he can. even if it’s a short one, he just loves hearing your voice.

he loves his cuddles! he likes laying his head on your chest and lovessss when you play with his hair. but, he also loves wrapping his arms around you and holding you so so close. he honestly never wants to let go.

baking! you two are adventurous when it comes to trying new things so you bake and cook a lot of goodies (usually late at night) when you’re bored. sometimes, felix will even join in! and when you guys are done with baking you’re goodies, you usually share them with the boys and get their opinion. (they love it every time)

speaking of the boys, they are like brothers to you! it makes hyunjin so happy to know you get along super well with his best friends. all of you are super important to him!

late night convosssss! you two are best friends before anything so you two rant to each other a lot or get into deep conversations about random things.

overall, you two have such a pure and genuine relationship. he loves you and you love him and you two are sure to remind each other any time and any way you can!

Hey! I really like your writing and I especially liked the bedroom mishaps series, it’s so refreshing to read something more realistic.

I’ve been thinking about what Ateez would be like with an autistic partner, as an autistic person myself.

I feel like Hongjoong would be really aware of and intuitive about his partner’s sensory difficulties, and always have things handy to help, like headphones or sensory safe hoodie. Would enjoy seeing his partner listen to Ateez’s new tracks on repeat for days/weeks.

Both Hongjoong and Seonghwa would love listening to their partners ramble about their special interest/hyper fixation, as well as finding their stims super cute.

Seonghwa would be aware of the social and sensory limits of his partner, maybe even more so than his partner themselves. Would be very good with helping his partner through meltdowns/shutdowns.

Woosansang would just be very intuitive, understanding, really good and comforting and helping their partner through meltdowns/shutdowns as well. Woosan especially would be very openly/loudly supportive and trying to always encourage their partner. And also knowing when their partner is too overstimulated for physical touch, or they just need pressure hugs. Would also find their partner’s stims super cute.

Mingi would listen with his big puppy eyes when they’re rambling🥺 and would indulge with them with their special interests so enthusiastically

Yunho would ALWAYS have a massive grin on his face when they’re rambling. Massive encourager, always encouraging them to unmask and stim as much as they need.

Jongho would be quietly but acutely aware of his partner’s needs all the time, whether they’re overstimulated, or wanting to unmask but being too uncomfortable to do so. Always aiming to help them out silently but with devotion.

I just know they’d all be very understanding and caring. I’m wondering what you think of this? And what Ateez would be like? Anything you disagree with or would add? Feel free to add anything nsfw.

(I didn't want to clutter the searches too much, so you can find my response to your headcanons under the cut! ♥)

Now, I'm not autistic myself (or, like, I might be somewhere on the spectrum, but I haven't gotten properly diagnosed or anything), so I don't really feel like I can confidently write much about the topic, BUT I really like the headcanons you have written! There's honestly nothing I disagree with since you picked up each member's personality pretty well in my opinion. Especially with Woosan, since they definitely seem like the types to proudly ramble about their s/o to everyone around them, lol. Oh and don't even get me started on Hongjoong, he absolutely feels like someone who'd carry around a bottomless bag full of the most random things like all moms do, lmao.

Also, I definitely agree that they'd all be very open and understanding!! I think that some of them would pick up on your habits and cues much faster than others (Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Jongho), while others might need more time to learn when to tone things down (San, Wooyoung), but they'd all be trying their best nonetheless.

As for nsfw headcanons, I think that most of the sfw headcanons would transition into the bedroom pretty much identically. They'd all make sure to ask for your limits and preferences (either beforehand like Yunho or in the moment like Yeosang) and would try their best to remember them whenever the time comes. The biggest obstacle, in my opinion, would be with San. He seems like someone who'd love a lot of eye contact during sex, and if that's something that makes you uncomfortable, he would have a harder time getting used to that. Other than that, I think that all the members would be very good at working around any troubles or needs you might have, as they're all very patient and loving anyways ♥ :)

- the way you speak. He enjoys hearing you rant or speak about your interest to him like it will be your last. He will sit there for hours just to hear you speak and accidentally repeat yourself. He doesn’t care <3

B = Body (what is their favorite part of your body?) [not in a wrong way of course]

- he loves your chest/waist. He’s always trying to cuddle up on you and be all touchy. Always holding you in public that way

C = Cuddling (how do they like to cuddle?)

- he enjoys spooning you because of his height. Holding you is one of the best things he can ask for and enjoys every moment

- he would protect you all the way, have you seen his height

you're making me consider watching those east asian (korean? japanese?) romantic tv shows you watch. do you have any recommendations for someone who tried to watch one (1) k-drama once (1x) and quickly stopped because the genre conventions were very different from what i was used to and that made it take more energy than i was expecting. (was expecting a typical romantic comedy plot like i'm used to and like, i think it was a typical romantic comedy plot but just like, not western)

like, is there a show that's relatively easy to get into? did i get unlucky with that one k-drama (and my own capacity for adjustment in that moment)?

also something that can help me watch stuff is episode summaries to read beforehand, if you're the kind of person who reads episode summaries sometimes and if so, do you have a recommendation for where to read them?

hi bestie, thank you so much for sending me this ask! i'm really happy to hear that my obsession has made you want to check out what the fuss is all about 😍 i've been almost exclusively watching shows from thailand for the past few months, and i'll gladly recommend some! (as for the episode summaries thing, i'm sorry i can't help you, i never read stuff like that.)

many of these shows are free to watch on youtube, and they usually come with english subtitles of varying quality. lately, gmmtv shows have had really amazing translations, but you need to be a bit forgiving with some of the older shows and shows made by other studios.

that said, let's get into the recommendations!

personally, i started this journey with kinnporsche the series (2022, 14 episodes), but that's like being dropped into the ocean from 500 feet above ground with no warning and expected to stay alive by any means necessary. the experience was absolutely amazing and 100% life-changing for me, and i've been showing kp to as many of my irl friends as possible because in my opinion, everyone should watch it, but as a first foray into thai bl it is... a LOT. (if that sounds intriguing to you, message me privately about where to watch it.)

however, here are some other suggestions in case you want to ease into the whole thing:

are you into comedy?

bad buddy (2021, 12 episodes) free to watch on youtube

this one became an instant classic and has a HUGE fandom here on tumblr. two college students have a shared history as the kids of two families who hate each other, and have been made to compete in everything since childhood... however, what their parents didn't plan for was the two of them falling in love. amazing chemistry between the main couple, will make you ugly cry.

my school president (2022, 12 episodes) free to watch on viki

super sweet romcom about a group of school friends who are in a band and are trying to win a battle of the bands type competition. the main love story is cute, heartfelt and very moving and you're going to end up wanting to adopt all of the kids.

care for some higher heat?

only friends (2023, ongoing) free to watch on youtube

if you want to get into something that's currently airing with a vibrant and active fandom, try only friends. everyone is problematic, morality is for losers, it's incredibly erotic, it's been three episodes and almost all of the main characters have already had sex scenes. plot what plot/insane college friend group without plot.

laws of attraction (2023, ongoing) free to watch on youtube

a man's niece is killed in a car accident that might actually be a murder. said man hires an unhinged lawyer to investigate. still airing (final episode will air on saturday), WILL twist your heart in such a way that you're probably going to need therapy. insanely heated chemistry between the main pairing, absolutely incredible acting from film thanapat.

moonlight chicken (2023, 8 episodes) free to watch on youtube

a poor restaurant owner is struggling dealing with raising his nephew, his own trauma and the pressures of capitalism. also, some guy he slept with keeps hanging around his restaurant because he wants to teach him to love again. this show makes you feel pain but it always hands you a cup of hot chocolate and caresses your back right after. aftercare for the viewer done right.

free philosophy classes wanted?

not me (2021, 14 episodes) free to watch on youtube

local group of gay anarchists are trying to bring a capitalist to justice. they discuss the concepts of justice and morality at length. what exactly is the power of art? if the law is unjust, then how to define justice? and how can we change the world for the better? made by a trans woman, a must-watch in the genre.

be my favorite (2023, 12 episodes) free to watch on youtube

what does it mean to live a good life? how can we ever know what choices to make? what if you could go back and change the things you did wrong? very gentle, compassionate and kind storytelling. this is my personal favorite bl after kinnporsche and about as far from kinnporsche storytelling-wise as anything could possibly get.

why not go for the classics?

two college students discover they have a soulmate bond and get flashes of memory from their previous lives, making one of them incredibly traumatized as they try to find out what really happened back then. this one is truly a classic bl: filmed on a potato, atrocious audio quality, trope-heavy. however, the way this show manages to sneak up on you and threaten your entire life is unparalleled and i'm still not over those final two episodes.

he's coming to me (2019, 8 episodes) free to watch on youtube

this one is a hidden gem. there's almost no fandom for it on here but it's a show that i can recommend wholeheartedly. a guy falls in love with a ghost he keeps seeing in the cemetery and tries to help him unravel the secret of his violent death. features a whole bunch of actors who are now considered veterans/heavy hitters.

Bucci Gang Thanksgiving headcanons and favorite dishes.

Just finished stuffing my mouth silly and was thinking about how the Bucci boys would react to Thanksgiving thus I wrote this. Also, I’ve never wrote anything in this format so don’t hurt me if it’s bad please :) Bruno:

Bruno loves any excuse to celebrate with good food and his friends nearby so when you introduced thanksgiving to him he was more than happy to oblige you!

His favorite thanksgiving food is definitely brussel sprouts. Not a fun of mashed potatoes to be honest but would eat a polite amount for you since you worked very hard on them.

Would try to be helpful during the preparation but isn’t much of a cook so he mostly resigns himself to cleaning up after you.

Abbacchio:

As long as it’s just the gang he doesn’t mind thanksgiving but if you try and get him to hang out with anyone he’s not familiar with he’ll just shell up and keep to himself. For your sake he’d still go though.

He’s a big fan of ham cooked in wine but if there’s a good salad he’ll love that too. Doesn’t really dislike anything but definitely avoids the sweet potato pie.

He’s actually a big fan of cooking so he’d love to help as long as it’s you. Super neat in the kitchen so it would help balance you out if you’re more of a tornado.

Mista:

Big fan of quality time with his friends and even more so with you. He’d already be thinking about introducing the holiday to his family and about how he’d celebrate it with your future family. ;)

Mista loves ALL the food you make him, thanksgiving is no exception. If he was forced to pick a favorite it would probably be mac and cheesy because he’s a cheesy boy.

Honestly not very helpful with cooking or cleaning but his heart is in the right place, so he’ll do his best to complete any tasks you delegate him. At the very least he’s a good cheerleader

Narancia:

This guy’s so happy to do anything domestic with you especially when it comes to starting new traditions since he missed out on so many as a child. He was VERY excited when you explained thanksgiving to him. Food and friends? Count him in!

Big thumbs up for sweet potato pie. Does NOT like stuffing, immediate disgust but tried not to hurt your feeling about it.

Like Mista, he’s not very helpful, more distracting than anything, in a cute way though. If you leave the dishes for him he’ll pout but do them anyways.

Fugo:

As the caring individual he is, he was more than happy to help you celebrate some old traditions! He took it upon himself to read up on the etiquette and happenings of the holidays beforehand so that he had an idea of what to expect.

This boy loves fruit pie! Feels a little guilty to eat them if you took the time to put intricate designs on top.

Delegate this man some tasks, please! He’s very eager to help in any way he can to ensure you enjoy your holiday.

Giorno:

Doesn’t really mind if you celebrate it or not but if it makes you happy, he’s more than willing to go along with it. You’d have to give him a good explanation as his less than ideal childhood didn’t prepare him for family time gatherings.

For starters he’s absolutely grazing while you cook, not because he’s hungry but because he’s curious to learn more about the holiday. Turns out he’s a big fan of cranberry sauce. Doesn’t love turkey because of how it makes him sleepy.

Would try to help you cook some simple things but really enjoys helping you make the desserts. He would also enjoy setting the table and making the place look nice.

Nine.i reaction: First date

This is my first nine.i reaction. So i don't really see any people writing for them so i wanted to do it my self. I looked up some more information about them and based the dates on their real live hobbys and intrests. Also please support seowon, winnie and jiho on boys planet. I didn't do any gifs as noramal because i couldn't find one of each member.(English is not my first language)

Jewon ->

Cooking date. Would meet with you at his house. He would have the ingridients ready for you. Would cut everything himself because he would be to scared that you hurt yourself. After finishing the meal you two would eat it with a movie or series on. If you're making dessert he would put some wipped cream on you're nose.

Eden ->

Ice cream date. He would take you out to go get some ice cream. Would get you any flavor you want. He is going to try your ice cream. And if you want or not you have to try his favorite. If you go and take a bit of his he will maybye maybye not smash his ice cream in your face. Don't worry he will gladly clean your face.

Winnie ->

Library date. He would take you to the local library to read together. Is going to buy a bunch of snacks beforehand. You will talk about your favorite books. He might be so enthusiastic that you both will get kicked out of the library. Feeds you the snacks he brought while you were reading. He would get your favorite drink from the vending machine once you're done eating.

Minjun ->

Ballet date. We all know how much he loves ballet. He would rent a little studio. He would teach you some of the basic steps of ballet. Would be the proutest ever when you did it right. If you also did ballet for a longer time he wants to make a duet with you. After he would tell everyone about how amazing you were at ballet.

Vahn ->

Studio date. He would take you to his studio. He comes to pick you up around the evening so you could also eat together. Gets you're favorite meal. He plays his unreleased songs for you. You two would also sing along to some other songs. He would quickly get some ice cream for you if you want a dessert. And it would be overall a hangout.

Vari ->

Movie date at home. Gets the boys away for a night. Sets up the whole couch in cute pillows and blankets. Buys a lot of snacks. Makes some popcorn for you. Their would be a finger touching moment with the popcorn. Gives you a teddy bear before the movie begins. Yawns and puts his arm around your schoulder. If you put your head on him he would litterly meld.

Seowon ->

Spa/ makeup date. He loves to do makeup. Does a little bit of spa things with you first. Like does face maskes with cucumber on your eyes. Then goes to do your makeup. He is going to make you the priettiest you will ever see. Teaches you a little about makeup. Aftherwards has a little photoshoot with you. Shows the other members your pictures and talkes alot about them so the members would go crazy because of him.

Taehun ->

Karaoke date. Takes you to a karaoke bar. Would pour all of his enery into the songs. Definitly wants to do a few duets with you. He is going to secretly record you singing so he could show everyone later. Is going to order a lot of delicous food for you but so you can keep the energy up. Would absolutly love it if you have the same energy as him. He would absolutly walk you home at the end of the night.

Joohyoung ->

Picnic date. Meets you at the local park. He would try to make food but fails. So he just ends up making some simple sandwitches and order some food. Makes the cutests setup ever. Needs to take pictures of the food and maybye also you. If you're done eating you would just sit and joke around for a bit. Trys to secretly hold your hand.

Jiho ->

Zoo date. Poor baby would be super nervous. Gets you two some matching head bands of your favorite animal. Really enjoys watching the animals and you. Gets you every souvenir you want. Buy a lot of delicous food for you and him. Expect him to take alot of pictures of you together, the animals or just you.

big media roundup (july edition)

hellooo again welcome to my media roundup, where i talk about things i read/watched/played this month! (…and by last month i mean AN ENTIRE MONTH AGO. WOOPS in my defense i got sick [better now]) in july i downloaded tachij2k, which im going to be shilling forever as the best way to read manga on android (apk on github here) this also means that ive been reading like, a Lot of manga lol so i split books + comics into two.

books:

vita nostra by Marina and Sergey Dyachenko: a metaphysics-ish novel about a girl who is blackmailed into going to a magic school. sort of a subversion where (unlike many magic school books) it basically is all about learning and stuff? im kind of a sucker for books written by married couples i think its really cute and also kind of fascinating... um i sort of disagree with its approach to pedagogy but its also sort of about the blood sweat and tears part of learning,, where i usually quit beforehand LOL. got that eastern european hopeless and drudgery (?) but idk i would definitely recommend

the great believers by rebecca makkai: historical fiction that swaps between an art curator-y guy living through the aids epidemic in chicago and his friend in the present who is trying to reunite w her estranged daughter. i really liked this!! super devastating obviously literally scooped me like a melon. very well researched! i hadnt really grasped like. the sheer terror and paranoia? that happened during the aids epidemic before..... thats my lack of contemp history knowledge but it was good i learned a lot. liked the theme of sort of surviving through tragedy and even after.. and the line drawn between the lost generation (war) and yales own exp (EDIT: found sth i wrote after reading the book which said "people are living their own intricate and mundane stories and then the stories of the world smash straight through them")

assassin of reality (vita nostra sequel): sasha knows what she will become--has embraced it, even. but theres always something that can be lost, and the institute still has a heavy hand over her.<or sth like that??? the reveals of the last book kind of make it a hard act to follow and the book definitely felt a lot more abstract... ik some people complained about the romantic subplots but i feel like it gives stakes and grounds everything else, yk? it gives you a thread to hold onto otherwise i mightve given up LMFAO that being said i did enjoy it :3 wondering if what happened to the authors will change the vibe of the next book... :(

you exist too much by zaina arafat: literary fiction about a bisexual palestinian american woman who struggles with her addiction to unattainable love, which has led her to cheat in several relationships. this book didnt really resonate with me.. um i actually ended up writing like 500 words of review for this but its pretty negative. so if youre interested check it out here https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/970847361775591466/1147613251933306921/image.png

movies/tv: room with a view: a young english girl travels to italy and finds love there--but has to choose between that love and a 'proper' life. ok this was fine. idk it was cute and funny sometimes but didnt leave that much of an impression sorry :T

past lives: two childhood friends reconnect, lose touch, then reconnect again. aughjjj those two silent minutes where they were waiting for her ride were so freaking agonizing. really good acting pretty film i just enjoyed it a lot in general! :3 i didnt like the boyfriend that much at first but the conversation they had in bed made them feel like a real relationship, you know? wish theyd had a 3some though maybe it will happen in past lives 2: paster life. idk its like most of the time we dont grow up to be who we thought wed be or do what we thought wed do... but is that really so bad? cant you still be happy? *clutches my head

nimona (movie): adaptation of the comic above! um this was fine i think i was a little disappointed bc the jokes felt a little overplayed/didnt really land? and i was mentally comparing it to the comic but then rereading i was like oh these jokes dont really hit for me either.. so who am i comparing this to LOL i think it would have meant a lot to me in middle school, so maybe it will mean something to middle schoolers now. also ppl fought really hard for it to be made so i feel like i need to give it more credit. my mutuals meta also made me appreciate it more :3 https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/687877902200471552/1126752893312184390/image.png barbie movie: not going to recap the barbie movie sorry. i actually watched this twice it was really fun :3 i wouldnt necessarily say it was a Cultural Milestone or anything but it was cute to see everyone dressed up for the movie.. plus i love velveteen rabbit type storylines. i think ken got the right amount of screentime (its not his movie!) but i loved his dance number and the battle scene :3 and the outfitss idk im not super caught up on the movie scene but it feels like there have been a lot of ugly movies recently. i enjoyed it

the rehearsal: a "reality" show about nathan fielder, who believes that any difficult situation can be rehearsed--and has the budget to put that belief into practice. ok like last year or sth everyone was like omg this show was sooo good but i didnt really get what it was about? but its actually really so interesting.. and the whole blurring between fiction and reality as well as the audience not really knowing which parts are staged and which parts are 'real' is so fun! i was a little bit disappointed when it diverged from the episodic format but that ended up paying off bigtime and was really like idk heartbreaking and funny and all of that. very recommend 👍

video games:

super mario odyssey: (replay)super fucking mario yay!!! in the long run, odyssey didnt have as much like. cultural staying power as botw did (they were both switch launch titles) but its still soooo imaginative and pretty and dense! i love platformers love 2 run and jump.

visual media: he was my brother: psych horror manga about a young girl who tries to grow closer to her recently-deceased brother's partner. omg i had so much fun with this the art is so atmospheric and delightfully creepy...REALLY mind the warnings though. i think i ended up reading all of it in one sitting lmfao

nimona comic (reread): classic villain ballister blackheart is looking for a competent sidekick, but what he gets is nimona, a shapeshifting weirdo kid with secrets. i remember trying to reread this and going wow.... is nimona not as good as i remember? am i old? but it was actually just like early webcomic weirdness nimona is still pretty good! yay :3 i still like the comic better but i respect how they are adapted to their respective mediums and also come from different phases in the og authors life

The story of how I came to know my favourite announcer has a side to her I would have never imagined: oneshot f/f w the premise in the title. whether i write down stuff like this is pretty hit or miss lol and i had to look this one up to rmbr what it was but the art is so cute...simple plot but i enjoyed it :3

crossplay love otaku x punk: romcom where two highschoolers fall in love with the other's crossdressing alter ego (m/m?). i really liked this one actuallyyy its so silly and im also a sucker for love square shenanigans. ok also now that someone else said they think hana/shuumei is endgame so im thinking about it. not the right perspective for this but the crossdressing isnt really overly fetishized or like seen as bad or anything? also ppl make some really funny faces in this

breathless momentum (vol 2+3): r two womanizing musicians find love... in each other!? this is also another one of my favorites :3 the leads are so fun and also music yay music! i really appreciate when a romance is still able to present an interesting story even after the couple has gotten together..

damekoi r: sequel to "please love this useless me," (damekoi is like.. useless passion? i think) which is about a woman in her 30s who spends all her money on her college boyfriend and goes into debt and falls in with her shitty former boss. omg it was soooo cute like i already said its a romance set after the main couple has already gotten together. which is my favorite. but these guys are really fucking weird so they still have a lot of problems. having Another Man who fits michikos type and isnt totally evil come in to destabilize shibata and kurosawas relationship doesnt feel cheap bc their relationship is already not very stable? lol i think the first one is worth checking out if you love pathetic women

mr villains day off: a gag manga about an alien supervillain on his days off. ok this one is pretty much just centered around this fluffy guy who likes to look at pandas but its extremely not very deep but its very cute... i like it... i also like pandas

how do we relationship/so do you want to go out, or (reread): f/f slice of life/drama manga about a girls first lesbian relationship in college. ok this is like "the" yuri manga for me i would recommend it to any fans of femslash its like sort of very realistic feeling? in the way that a relationship can sort of degrade slowly through lack of communication and being different people i think its really great 👍

ichinose familys seven deadly sins: psychological drama. an entire family wakes up with amnesia from a car crash. they dont remember themselves or each other, but pledge to stay together and relearn how to be a family and try to find their memories again. but is it really worth digging up the past...? man this one really goes off the rails. but like in a fun way? has an interesting arc going on rn about like... what allowances do we give, what are we willing to forgive in a stranger vs a family member. pretty interesting!

oshi no ko (catchup): psych thriller about the twin children of a famous idol trying to deal with the legacy she leaves behind. ive been talking about this manga for a while to my friends lol its kind of like riverdale in that its sort of very good, sort of very bad--but overall just super engrossing! which makes sense in a way bc its about the entertainment industry but also about the relationship between an idol and their fan... um not so sure about recent developments though lol. a little bit scared to see where things go

blue period (catchup): a delinquent boy used to going with the flow decides to go to the top art school in japan. yeah blue period is really good. hope this helps 👍lets all never go to art school ever ok ^_^

still sick: f/f about an office lady who finds out her coworker writes and sells yuri doujins (like illustrated fanfiction?) on the side. its a classic! was nice to finally get around to finishing it :3

liar satsuki can see death: thriller about a girl who can see peoples deaths and tries to prevent them--except everyone thinks shes just a liar. ok this is notable bc it has the exact same like adventures and gaybait as shounen but its all girls instead. its good light entertainment! sometimes is um kind of horny for sth about high school girls so ymmv on that one

farming for love: m/m romance about a pharmacist who moves to the country after a bad breakup and meets a ~strong but silent farmer~. pretty average, but fun if youre into that kind of thing! not sure if i would really recommend it lol

chainsaw man 2: set after the events of chainsaw man proper, its an action shounen focusing on asa mitaka, a girl who kinda sucks :3 chainsaw man is so fun yayyy im happy to be reading it again excited to get hit by some more bricks! asa is a wonderful protagonist and fujimoto continues to write comitragedy (?) in a way thats kinda obscene but also very cool 👍rip single father denji

skip and loafer (comic): slice of life about an ambitious but awkward girl who comes from the country to start her high school life in tokyo!!!! and some guy i guess. omg ok this is like the slice of life manga for me rn (the anime is really good! finished recently check it out) its just really warm and nice. autistic girls win always lol truly a comic that makes you feel like there is love in the world

no home: webtoon drama about two guys who are trapped together in a haunted dorm. ok this comic makes me really depressed but its also about people who make each other better despite their best efforts. and also violence and hatred its really really good 👍sad about recent updates though.. i guess maybe the characters werent really meant to be friends in the long term

Little Itto and Carer Shinobu Christmas Headcanons!

These two are soooo cute~ Hopefully this isn't too OOC!

Itto is so excited for Christmas, he's practically bouncing off the walls for days beforehand! He's almost always a little bit regressed, and Christmas makes him slip even more

Shinobu is well-versed in handling him though, she's great at redirecting his energy

On Christmas Eve, Shinobu has to make sure Itto gets tons of exercise, or he'll never sleep!

Even with that, it still takes several bedtime stories and at least twenty minutes of gently stroking his hair before the little guy finally falls asleep

Christmas morning is a whirlwind of activity, Itto never sits still!

He's so appreciative for any presents he gets, especially from Shinobu, who is the only one who knows about his regression

#1 blorbo at the moment. i think if i don’t see a picture of him daily i’ll explode.

I think i’ve never read so many fanfic before lol (however for other pairs i had been interested before, there isn’t that many content, so it’s difficult to compare). i do love reading the various interpretations of Yosuke (and Yu/Souji) in those.

Although I had some knowledge about the game and it’s story beforehand (i even found a post from a person who seemed to actively disliked him, but i didn’t pay much attention to it at the time), i had no idea i would get so attached to him but it happened right from the beginning - falling into trash cans is truly remarkable.

I loved his initiative to start the investigation, the immediate chemistry with the Yu/Souji, and I was super hyped with the og trio: Yu/Souji, Yosuke and Chie.

I loved his Shadow arc (although it works, it’s sad we don’t get an actual dungeon for that like the others (same for Chie)) and his SL <3<3<3 (also his appearance in Marie's and Naoki's SL, although, for Naoki I prefer the manga adaptation, since in game it revolves more around Yu/Souji).

The game starts pretty harsh on him: learning that the girl he was interested in (and one of the only people that seemed to understang him at the time) has died and the last words he hears from her are not the ones he expected to hear. And learning about how lonely he feels in that town, and how his happy silly self is a facade, it was ... sad and depressing. It really made me get really attached to him.

And yet he keeps being the guy who takes a lot of initiative inside and outside the investigation.

I love how he is so silly, and smart, and he also looks really cute tbh (extra hella moe in the dancing game and super cute chibi in the q games. Him and Naoto are super gender, especially looking at them in the dancing game ;;).

Seriously, I love how he is such an idiot sometimes (derogatory and affectionate), how he talks without thinking, sometimes... it's part of his charm.

But i also love how smart he is, and also dedicated (not only in the investigation, but for example he does show, with the motorcycle license scene, that he can put effort in goals he intends to achieve, and if he is motivated, but it also shows how anxious he is and how he is afraid of failing or staying behind).

I also love how he can say such beautiful things sometimes (SL!!!), but sucks at texting (i can't read that fr).

It made me so happy whenever i could just select the nice dialogue options for him (like right at the beginning when Saki mentions he can be a bit nosy sometimes and you can tell her he seems to be a nice person) and how you can choose to hug him in the SL :'')) (btw i didn't know you needed to unlock something in a previous rank to get the hug option, so i was very proud that i got it right at first without knowing it).

Even though i can’t relate 100% to him, there are a lot of aspects that feel kinda relatable, even more if i think of myself when i was his age, in game. Mainly the anxiety, loneliness and sometimes being just silly to hide true emotions/feelings. However he is totally a more outgoing person than i could ever be.

I know he is a somehow controversial character (i mean, the game itself is) but i actually try to avoid the mean comments towards my faves so i rarely see those. i’m just aware there are. i love seeing the content from other people who like him though c: and there is lot of good content, i’m always well fed.

I think it’s fine if people don’t like a character or make thoughtful critics if something upsets them about a media they are consuming, critical thinking is always good, and we do not need to like the same things. As long as people are respectful, I am just fine and that’s it.

You and your friends were in the common room in the so-called “study group” that Remus had insisted on creating for the Defense Against the Dark Arts class and ended up with topics from the other subjects. “Because having the two of you together is having a time bomb. Go back to your seat,” he murmured just as seriously. Sirius watched him and in the middle of his tantrum he wrinkled his whole face trying to imitate Remus "I can see you Sirius"

"Since you've been a prefect, you have become unbearable," he muttered.

"What did you say?"

"Nothing," he replied like a little boy, dropping on the couch and taking the book from him again in the middle of a snort. You watched him with amusement and he stared back at you, so you mouthed ‘Better luck next time as he looked back at his notes. You felt Sirius's gaze, it was not something easy to ignore, but you tried not to stop yourself from the spirit from passing all the subjects that had suddenly invaded you.

When you couldn't take it anymore you looked up and again mouthed ‘What?’ Trying not to get caught by Remus. Sirius sneakily pointed to a scroll and his quill and you knew what it was all about.

Turns out that Sirius was extremely smart when he put his mind to it and he himself had enchanted a couple of scrolls that only you and he knew about. When you wrote in one, it was reflected in the other and when you finished whatever you were writing this was erased. "Nothing, do I need to go where everyone goes all the time?" you asked raising an eyebrow. The boy smiled and shook his head as he leaned on one of his hands, closing the distance between you. "Weren't you the one who was dying to get out of here?"

"Correction: I wanted the session to end, at no time did I speak about the company" he replied and you smiled "Speaking of which, I was thinking..."

"You think?"

"I think I'll go to my room. See you tomorrow?" he murmured with a tight-lipped smile as he rose from the couch.

"Sure, see you tomorrow" you replied in the same way, watching him walk towards the exit. You released your contained breath and let your head fall against the back of the chair, processing what had just happened.

You were very sure of what Sirius had tried to do and you didn’t understand the reason for your reaction. I mean, you had completely paralyzed shortly after blatantly flirting with the boy. You had had many dates in your life, why would this be any different?

You looked down the hall where Sirius had gone and remembered his disappointed fase. Should you go look for him?

No, maybe it was best to just let it go and gradually he would forget about it. Yes, that would be the best.

You heard an almost deathly silence in the common room and then laughter, but you didn't have time to look when Sirius was already shoving you from the lower back.

The walk to his room was very silent, the first omen that something bad was about to happen. Once you were in his bedroom he let you in first and closed the door behind you, managing to startle you with the simple sound of the latch.

"Why are you closing the door?" you asked nervously, with the volume of your voice considerably louder. Sirius noticed this and quickly removed the latch he had placed on the door.

"I just didn't want to be bothered, that's all," he said with a frown "You're a bit strange, are you sure you don't mind being here with me?"

"No, no, nothing like that" you rushed to reply, waving your hands in an exaggerated way. Sirius found it cute when you did that "You're the one who's suddenly strange, I'm not"

"Yeah, maybe I've been behaving a little weird lately" he smiled, in that way that reminded you of a child "But I promise you it's for good reason, in fact it's what I want to talk to you about" he started to say.

Sirius looked, for the second time, disappointed.

"Sure, school is more important," he replied, trying not to sound affected. You grinned widely and walked in the direction of the exit, eager to leave his room.

"Thank you Sirius, you are an angel"

"I know I look like one, but I'm not quite sure I am," he joked, but his smile was not as bright as before. You laughed in response and stood on the balls of his feet to place a kiss on his cheek.

"See you later, I promise," you murmured hastily, leaving without giving him a chance to say anything else.

"Yes... I can wait" Sirius spoke to himself, with a hurt tone. He released his breath and lay down on his respective bed, staring at the ceiling. He felt something strange in his chest, something that wanted him to cry out.

You walked down the hallways, desperate to get away from the questions he might have asked, and when you were outside your common room you didn't stop. On the contrary, you ran and ran through the corridors hoping that no one would find you.

You didn't stop until you were outside the castle, until you were on the same black lake. And once there, you collapsed to cry.

Ah! Of course! :) Sorry I've been taking so long school is getting to me cause of finals;-;

I think that Sal and Larry would have gotten together before you got there

Like, I say gotten together but the way they started it was literally best friends that were super hornknee and decided to have sex together

They started then developing romantic feelings for each other though

And although the sex dynamic wasn't perfect (refer to my Sal x reader NSFW fic) it was good and they loved each other

It became an on and off thing until they actually worked it out

they talked about it and decided that it was better that they stay friends until they can sort out their own sexual desires and endeavors

Sal didn't even know he could do both as a switch and verse so he wanted to just re-examine his sexual self

And Larry was okay with that

So they decided to date but just without sex for a while

Then you moved to Nockfell their sophomore year

and god were you cool

Sal was the first one to see you in the hallway

So basically you think that they're both trying to cheat on each other for the week they're flirting with you

And then they realize why you're saying this

So although this was not the time they expected to confess to you they told you what they were trying to do

So you just sat there

With these two idiots

and told them "No guys, cause I was literally having a breakdown about losing my two best friends."

And they confess to you

and everything is emotional and raw and you accept

Your guys' dynamic doesn't change because you’re dating now

so you and the gang (except Ash, she moves to the city of course) goes and makes a college house

once you all move in together there it's a new routine

You all agreed and talked about the move together and what it would entail

And then you all finally realized how different it was from a monogamous relationship it was

But you all had your learning curves within the relationship

You find out more about their dynamic as a couple

For example, Larry and Sal never liked to fall asleep without you anymore

They had trouble sleeping without you beforehand and the first time you all slept in the same bed together it was just... so... peaceful

So until he decides to release his songs online or plays those at gigs he's never going to let you listen to them

Larry likes to paint you guys

His paintings of you before the "disaster confession" were okay, it just looked like he was making a painting of a friend, except for the occasional rose

But now he paints you and draws you two whenever he can

He finds it funny how flustered you and Sal get whenever he makes suggestive paintings or sketches of you two

Maybe not back to New Jersey but probably not as far as New York or LA

Larry likes to use it as teasing leverage for a good rough one that night but you usually make sure he's okay with it before Larry does anything

Here and there but there aren't really specific places

It just sort of happens

You mostly shut them down alone

But occasionally you'll have to go to Sal and Larry if they're persistent

And they'll be mean too

One of the first times you saw Sal and Larry ever legitimately get that mean was when you got hit on in a club and they both just pulled you behind them and absolutely ripped the person a new one

You guys really like to stay at home if you guys have dates though that way everyone feels included

Starting jobs there are tough and all but you make it off your feet

Sal ends up booking a lot of gigs and Larry's commission request skyrocket when he moves to the city and makes a blog about his art

You all get an apartment with affordable rent and one that allows Gizmo

I hc that Gizmo is an esp but I don't know if that's real

So regardless you'll still be able to have room for him

Sal proposes to both of you

You guys talked about marriage and decided that it would be easier legally to just not get married through a court

So you guys have a friends wedding and Gizmo is the ring bearer
