Anyway, I like to think about Willow gardening by herself for a variety of reasons or sometimes with friends. Especially and maybe even to a higher degree than usual in the human realm. Like, it's probably a really relaxing hobby that helps take her mind off things, and maybe sometimes she invites someone to come with her if she notices they're homesick or otherwise off in some way. I don't know.

Also deeply obsessed with specifically Hunter originally joining her sometimes because he wants to spend time with her, but then gets really into gardening himself. Like, he starts collecting various books and articles on gardening and various plant life in the human realm and shares them with Willow or something. She probably knows about a majority of the stuff he shares with her already, but it makes her happy to see people she cares about be happy.

Anyway, rambling about gardening and friendship (occasionally of the advanced variety) aside, here's a version without the overlay layer.

♡ Aimée likes to present herself as an 'it' girl at school. She is a known exhibitionist in town, and is rumored that she gets around.

♡ Kleptomaniac. Pickpockets people during work hours and even during encounters. It gives her a little extra cash but she does have multiple jobs. Prefers stealing things rather than actually paying for them. Has been caught before but usually with a little bit of 'persuasion', she's able to get away scot-free.

♡ A sweet talker. (turns out paying attention in English class does have its benefits) She oftentimes tries to get out of a situation by finessing people. Her mouth is probably her best asset, in more ways than one :)

♡ While Aimée doesn't outwardly harass others, she enjoys teasing and messing with them. Silver-tongued, playful and witty, she finds that she enjoys pushing peoples' buttons, and seeing how they react after a measly few words is always a fun time. And if they fall for her somehow, then that's a major plus, breaking hearts is her favorite past time ♡

♡ In private, she is actually meeker than how she shows herself to be. However, she finds comfort in this persona she's created. Everyone knows that you're easy prey if you act shy and show any vulnerability, so she's learned the hard way to always take the first bite.

♡ By being promiscuous herself, it gives her a sense of autonomy in a way. In her mind, if she objectifies herself first, then she's taking away that decision people have over her body.

♡ Her arousal is kept high at all times so she can avoid overthinking, its a way to cope from everything. Sex is a great distraction. It makes her feel good, and all she needs to do is just focus on the what was happening during the moment, and on giving the person she's with pleasure that she's very happy to provide.

♡ Can't find herself to commit to anyone due to her fear of opening herself up to others. Sex is easy. To her, it's simple. And it's something she knows she's good at. Meanwhile, feelings and emotions are messy. It complicates a lot of things. But she can't help but get attached to some people. Whenever she realizes that she's getting too close, she distances herself and quickly moves on to a new person, minimizing the chances of any feelings developing further.

♡ This is where her reputation as a heartbreaker comes from. It's not actually something she actively likes doing, but it's a way for her to get even for what they had done to her.

♡ But no matter how many times she tries to convince herself, deep down, she knows this isn't how she wants to be. She does want to make genuine connection with someone. And despite being surrounded by (mostly unwanted) attention, there's still this lingering sense of loneliness that, no matter what she does, she can't seem to get rid of.

Showing you all my favorite Red, Painted, and White Trillium pictures I've taken over the past few years like a kid at recess with a fat stack of pokemon cards. The first photo is a Red Trillium (Trillium erectum) which is one of my favorite spring wildflowers.

The photo on the top right is the fruit that develops as the flower dies back and contains seeds that are dispersed by ants. The process is actually really interesting, the seeds have these fatty, protein-rich structures attached to them called elaiosomes that ants love to eat, and when they harvest the seeds for the elaiosomes they help the plant reproduce itself. Everyone wins👍

The third photo is (I'm fairly certain) not a separate species, but actually a naturally ocurring pale color morph of the Red Trillium. This guy pops up year after year in the same spot, a lone yellow-green bloom in a patch of deep red.

Painted (Trillium undulatum, fourth photo) and White (Trillium grandiflorum, last two photos) aren't as common where I am, but I stumble onto them occasionally! All of these species are slow-growing plants—it can take nearly a decade for one to start producing flowers—so getting to see them out in the wild is a treat, and they're always best left in the ground💖

I have an au/headcannon that the lantern corps all have a language that only they can understand, it’s a weird mix of a bunch of alien languages and stuff-

Anyway I could ramble about this for a long time but I made this post with the purpose of saying how funny it would be if a GL(let’s say Hal Jordan) was kidnapped and given truth serum but instead of giving all his information away he just-

Edit: I realize that this could be even funnier if you take into account that the lantern language sounds a bit musical-ish to Earthens… (they watched GL get doused in truth pollen or something then sing gibberish-)

mers keep their faces covered as a way to indicate social status and familiarity. warriors have intricate masks, handcrafted when they win their first battle and the more detailed a mask is, the more accomplished the wearer is. they're rarely shed and are only taken off for their closest kin and mates

warrior bull shark mer!soap seeing human!ghost, seeing his skull mask and immediately knowing he's a high ranking warrior; one to be feared going off the numerous scars covering his body

an ideal and worthy mate, so long as he can prove his prowess

so he follows him as he's deployed on a mission near the ocean and is smitten when he sees how ruthless and capable he is; bathing himself in his enemies blood. he keeps his distance, not wanting to tempt fate but ghost spies the tip of his fin cutting through the water

and he's nothing if not an opportunist; kicking the bodies off the pier to the waiting jaws below

but soap? all he sees is the first step in a courting ritual

and he has to come up with something truly brilliant to match such a glorious offering

on ghost's part, it's been difficult getting people to understand the depths of his dependence on his mask. price thinks it's something to overcome, gaz and other soldiers just think it's an accessory to help with intimidation

the few partners he's tried to have thought he was someone to "fix"; nothing more than an object, a notch on their belt to prove how "good" of a partner they were to put in so much work to make him better. it always leaves him feeling violated, more so than if they'd just taken his mask off outright. one night stands were hardly worth it either; scratching a physical itch but falling so short of the intimacy and connection he craves that he feels worse off than he'd started

when he finally meets the mer that's been hunting him across the country, sees the bright red mask so artfully hewn and attached to his face?

it's like looking at a reflection of himself

he might have finally found the understanding he's been searching for
