Summary: Mingi had spent countless years searching for the angel who saved his life when he was on the verge of death. "Ooh, guess who's here again," your colleague remarked, nodding toward the entrance of the royal medical hall where a certain tall, handsome military strategist strode in for what felt like the thousandth time this week. You sighed, refusing to look up from your book. "Please tell me it's not him."

She gulped, watching him approach. "Hate to break it to you, but it is your not-so-secret admirer, General Officer Song."

"Good afternoon, ladies. I, uh… I'm here today because—" his familiar deep voice rang out as he paused at a respectful distance.

Clearing your throat, you finally closed your book and turned to face him with a courteous smile, finishing his sentence for him, "Good afternoon to you too, Officer Song. Let me guess, you're here because you got hurt during training again?"

Instead of the usual sheepish nod, he shook his head and nervously fiddled with his fingers. "No, actually… I came to ask if… i-if you would like to accompany me to the royal banquet celebrating Joseon's unity with Ruhon tonight, Royal Physician Ahn?"

You froze at his question, and your colleague mirrored your reaction. The two of you exchanged bewildered glances, trying to process the fact that this fool was openly pursuing you, a woman working in the palace, someone who belonged to the King.

hi everyone ♡ a little about where i've been and why i'm not posting....

so... it's no secret that i fell off the face of the earth when it comes to writing, and for that i just want to apologize. i know a lot of you have been waiting for the next chapter of tnt, further aurora updates, or just looking forward to some smutty kinktober one-shots...... but to be completely honest i haven't written in a little while.

i've been trying to but i keep coming up short, and i've been avoiding this blog ever since because i just feel bad for not being able to give you guys the stories you're waiting for. for that reason, i essentially took a creative break and decided not to respond to any messages about writing. i know that kind of sucks, but i know myself and i didn't want to promise "soon" when i knew that wasn't true.

i'm starting slowly to work on things again, and i really hope i'll be able to share some of that work with you soon, but genuinely i just needed space from working on fic and to be honest..... from the fandom. i love being an atiny, but there was a swell of negativity on twitter for a while and i've been feeling a little uninspired with the past year of content and endless touring and it all combined into me putting things off.

i'm also................................ much more of a multi now.... which i really never thought would happen but here we are. i have no idea if i'll actually start writing for any of those groups, but if i do, i hope some of you also enjoy those groups and you stick with me. a little blurb about my new biases and the groups i'm now following, etc. is at the bottom of this post.

as far as what's going on with my ateez work? here's a quick recap:

this night together: still in progress, i have ~4 chapters finished, but chap ten and some of the time skips have me a little stuck. once i iron that out and finish out the last 2-3 chapters after the arc that's written, i'll get back to posting. at this point i'd like to have it done so i can release it confidently and as a complete story. into the aurora: i have about half of book one edited, which will include some new scenes / cleaned up scenes, but nothing crazy. i'd like to start updating old chapters once everything is finalized. book two is.... slow going. i'm hoping a breath of fresh air will help, but it's still my goal to come back to these characters. one-shots: i have about 4-5 ateez one-shots that are half written. my plan is to finish these and release them as inspiration strikes to wrap them up.

thank you all for your patience, and all of your kind messages. so many people have checked in on me both anon and not, and even if i haven't responded it's meant so much as i work on coming back to writing. i may not be able to respond to all the messages since so many of them are in my inbox, but slowly i may chip away at them

I love starting a new drama. Is this going to ruin my life (positive) or ruin my life (negative). Only time will tell.

Wow this is the most awkward radio call ever. I have no idea how radio shows in Korea work but surely they'd do some sort of screening before having an idol call a random woman who can't walk and offering her running shoes as a prize. I don't blame her at all for being pissed off.

Also, this wasn't what I was expecting from the synopsis. I thought she was the sunshine one and he was the angsty one. Well, we'll see what happens I guess.

Even though I work with Lord Eros and Lady Aphrodite to get love in my life, I still wonder if having a boyfriend is something meant to a girl like me.

Don't get me wrong, I fully believe in Eros and Aphrodite abilities to find love for everyone. Is just that...I have deep insecurities :(

For starter; I'm a chubby girl, I'm not fat, but I have a big tummy and my thighs are too big and I feel too big when I'm next to my girl friends because I'm taller than them (I'm not a tall person, I think I'm 162/163cm)

Then we have my religion, I live in a latam country, where the majority of people are either Christian or Catholic, paganism isn't something welcomed here, and even though there's African rooted religions, something as niche as Hellenic Paganism isn't knowledgeable.

I like girly things, but I'm not a girly person, I mostly wear pants and big kpop hoodies along anime t-shirts. I'm trying to dress up better now that I'm working on a office though, but still.

I have a very acid humor, I'm sarcastic to the point of people wondering if I'm being serious or not. But deep down I'm very insecure about how people perceive me.

I'm neurodivergent, having ADHD and I also have socialphobia. Speaking to people makes me anxious, one of my copying mechanisms is wearing headphones and looking at the floor.

I love Lord Eros and Lady Aphrodite, but at the same time, I still wonder if being loved is something meant for me. Am I loveable? Does Lady Aphrodite see me and think I'm a failure of devotee? Does Lord Eros wish he didn't had to work with me because I'm too awkward?

I love myself, but sometimes I wished I was something else, I wish to be pretty like this friend I have, or maybe charismatic like this other friend, oh oh maybe I could be skinny like this one? I love myself but at the same time I wished to not be me. Does that make sense?

Quick Fix Gay

Quick Fix Gay Season 1 continues every Thursday. This week I'm giving you a story I originally meant to release on New Year's Eve but which I didn't finish on time.

The new story plays on the gay relationship between the NCT Dream members, from the NCT Dream Dating Ban series (external link) which concluded in December, 2024. It's short and doesn't significantly expand on the Dating Ban universe, but it came to be solely thanks to that series.

"Quick Fix", if you don't know, are my very short stories that focus exclusively on the sex or a very specific scenario/plot point. The gay edition of the series is similar to the straight one except they're about member-on-member or member x male reader situations.

From my perspective, I was kind of losing interest in tumblr. When I actually have a new fandom, I'll post about it, but mostly, I'm too busy to bother with using tumblr in the usual ways. I've barely read my dash in years.

im a new reader of your blog and id just like to say that i really admire how youre able to observe jaedo and their relationship so well! i remember trying to “observe and analyze” all my previous kpop ships (+ jaedo, before i found this blog) and it would just consist of me watching videos on youtube and “moments” on tumblr and twitter 😅

i also found it really difficult assessing relationships because i always thought that everything an idol did was scripted, especially in front of a camera, as they are public figures whose jobs rely on their image. i didnt know it was possible to read an idol so well solely based off their body language!

basically, reading this blog really changed my perception on real-person relationships, how one really needs to put in time in effort to look through all the content and each persons individual personality and relationships with others. yeah, thats all i have to say. i just felt the need to let you know that i found your blog very helpful ☺️

JaeDo is an easy case, to be honest. Jaehyun is super transparent, and JaeDo did a lot of lives right before and after their transition from friends to lovers. Thus it was possible to compare their relationship and pinpoint a serious shift in their dynamic. From that time on it was just continued observation to cement the initial conclusion, support it with additional facts and events.

Actually, the "honeymoon" vlives (the two with Taeil) were one of the first lives I watched with the two soon after me getting into NCT. However, I needed to see more of them and comeback to those lives with new knowledge and understanding to read it the right way.

Yes, there is a lot of fanservice and a lot of image building with idols. With LGBT it can be double-layered: a persona to hide the orientation in daily life/pass as straight or/and neurotypical, and a persona to make an interesting idol on top of that. However, noone can control oneself 24/7. The idol image will be abandoned behind the cameras, it will start to slip off during a long interview or when one is sick/tired. The body will betray the orientation reacting to a stimulus or a topic of conversation/a question. White lies and ommited facts will come out (the way dremies say JaeDo congratulate them with BDs together or how Ten said they visited his new apartment together).

For example, religious boy or not, Mark's brain likes to think dirty (or used to... maybe he outgrew his hormonal teenager phase). And when it's Doyoung talking about wanting to see Jaehyun's body (change bodies for a day to come out of the shower and look at himself in the mirror, enjoy the view), Mark asks about the dick (it was about muscles, Markie, muscles). While when it's Mark related, he remembers about boobs (was it in Top model? some group content). Things like that. And yes, unless someone did the job already for you (there used to be ship manifestos with arguments online in the past), you normally have to watch a lot to come across the moments that will make you sure in your suspicion.

In real life we are not attentive. It is socially forbidden to look at a person for a long time, we normally see that person in a setting, in similar situations. We project a lot or don't want to think badly, assume things about another person. Thus we often end up mistaken about the real character of other people or know them just from one side.
