Dreamer was originally drawn in somewhat of a rush so I have literally no clue what is supposed to be under his cloak. He has also gotten massive improvements over the time from him being created.

His power is what most would say Celestial Moon magic, in which would be true in fact He gets his magic from his father.

His powers are time travel but here's the twist, his powers are only strong when the moon is present, if it is not he can only use his magic in a span of 2 to 3 seconds at most, this could lead to issues in the mits of battle.

When strong his magic gets a boost and allows him to do it a bit longer in which is where over usage could become an issue.

This is "an unlikely friend". This is for the Feyre week prompt "Compassion"

Feyre shows a lot of compassion in the series to the creatures of the realm as well as the people. This is her putting her trust in Bryaxis, an unlikely alliance. The high lady shows no fear, as it's to save her people.

im due processing the events:

me having to realize 15 arrived 15 days after dropping yaz off as 13.

The fact that Thomas goes to London is no surprise considering his social class. I think London was the most populated city in Europe in his time as it was in the 1 million number. I wonder what London was like in the regency? The only method of transport that would be available to him to get to London is carriage. 

The Regency era was the time when George IV took over as Prince Regent, because his father, George III, was suffering from mental illness, and was unable to rule. (Side note - The 4 Georges (Born 2 Rule) from Horrible Histories, starring Ben, Mat, Simon and Jim is a bop, definitely go give it a watch on YouTube!) 

George III died in 1820, and it was when George IV became king that he decided to do a lot of architectural work to the London residences. After six years of being king, George IV decided that Carlton House, just up the road from the place then known as Buckingham House, no longer suited his needs as king, and so John Nash, a famous architect (who may be an ancestor of mine!), worked on renovating Buckingham House into the palace that we know today. Though George IV never saw the end of the renovation and no royal lived in Buckingham palace until 1837, when Victoria became queen. 

Gas lighting came to London when Thomas was still alive, beginning with Westminster Bridge in 1813. Regent’s Canal, beginning construction in 1812 (another John Nash project) was opened in 1816. And in 1819, Burlington Arcade, the first shopping arcade, was opened, making way for the shopping centres and malls we know today. 

In 1800 there were 1million residents in London, and that number only grew, and in 1815 there were 1.4million people living in London. 

In relation to Thomas, travelling to London would have been completely normal, because that’s where everyone was; it was the heart of the country. Thinking back to Bill (the 2015 film by The Six Idiots), William Shakespeare moved to London because of how there were more opportunities for him there. A lot of people nowadays move to London for better work opportunities, and so it is no surprise that an upper class poet would travel into London to meet with publishers back in the early 1800′s. 

Though, if Button House, in Hertfordshire (just north of London), was a 3 day ride from where he lived, London would’ve been quite a trek too! (Probably a 2 day ride!). It’s fantastic how much quicker we can travel to places nowadays, we can get to any country on Earth in a day or less, and we can travel across the UK on land by car in less than a day! (Apparently it will take 15hours to drive from John O’Groats to Land’s End, probably the two furthest mainland points of the UK, and even with stoppages for food, bathroom breaks and stretching, it would still be less than a day if you switch drivers regularly!)

The thing is, she knows him but he doesnt know her. She knows everything about him and it makes him yearn for her more. Whats her name? Is she still studying? How does she sleep at night? It has been bugging Namjoons mind since he saw her at a fansigning event. At first he thought it was just a normal working day for them but little did he know that it would be a turning point in his life.

"Stop looking at her pictures, hyung. You look like a creep" Jungkook told Namjoon peeking over his phone one day. They were getting their make ups done for an event but the boys know differently. They know Namjoon is in a different space because of the "girl". The "girl" that finally captured their leaders attention. They all saw her, they all smiled at her and had a little interaction with her, she was pretty for sure but they had met prettier women than her but that person made a big impact on Namjoon that they helped him search for her sns accounts. When they finally knew that the girls name si "Y/N" (thanks to Yoongi who was surprisingly into the quest of finding her saw her Twitter account) Namjoon cant stop following her, reading her tweets every day ("last day of work!!!" her tweet 15hours ago) or even looking at her pictures. Anything to know about this girl.

"Im not a creep! And to be safe I made a secret account to follow her on Twitter. She doesnt know its me" namjoon replied. Taking a sip of his latte but before the maknae could respond Hoseok quickly said

"But would you want her know its you? From what I can see you want to. But you know you cant"

Of course Namjoon knows he cant. He cant let her know he is falling in love with her. How can someone fall inlove with someone they just saw for the first time? They havent even talked! Aside from the fact that he is one of the biggest artist now and having a relationship will make things harder for everyone. But he cant help imagining how it feels liks talking to you during the fanmeet, you just smiling at him and softly saying "please sign with my name on it please. I need it to encourage myself everyday" he was stunned at your beauty that it took him 2 seconds to register what you said and hurriedly writting your name while smiling at you.

"You know youre my bias"

"Really? Most people would say Jungkook or Jimin. But thanks. That means a lot"

"You're my bias because you have the guts to say what you want in this life. You know what you want and you ill do everything to get it. its also a plus that you're smart. Namjoon sighed meaning that he got the message. Jin patted him on the back softly and said "This isnt the right timing, you know? We want you to be happy. everyone of us wants to. We understand how you feel at some extend and we care about your happiness but lets focus on our careers firsts" Namjoon nods and slowly closes his phone. Knowing that you will never meet each other as of this moment. And upon that realization something inside him died.

Is there any rational reason why I should not soak my ground coffee directly in my beer instead of making cold brew coffee and then put it in? I did not find any and so I put those 2kg of ground Mokka for about 15hours into my stout. Took it out again today and from the first taste impression has a intense coffee aroma. I think that one will turn out really nice. Benefit Cosmetics Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow Review.

Hi guys,

As I mentioned in a previous review I found this foundation in a draw and here is the review I promised.

First of all this product is 91% free of the most common known allergies according to the website skinsafe. The benefit counter colour matched me to the shade Ivory. I don’t agree with this colour match it’s a shade or two too dark and has warm undertones. I have cool undertones and am very fair. This foundation looks orangey on me so the shade is wrong. It is supposed to be brightening and has SPF25 and of a medium coverage. I would say this is more sheer than a medium coverage and requires a lot of concealer with it to get a decent coverage. I also didn’t find any brightening affects with it. I have very dry skin at the moment. It clings to every dry patch and sinks into every line and pore. It cakes under the eyes. As it’s orangey I need to apply to my neck too and blend it in well. From a distance it looks nice and gives off the effect of having a tan. Close it it emphasises all my flaws. It doesn’t cover spots either.

I think if you have oily or normal skin this foundation might suit you but if you have dry skin it’s not great. It’s not the worst foundation I’ve ever tried and maybe in summer when I’m more tanned and not suffering with winter skin it might look nicer but it’s a no from me. It does apply and blend quite nicely but it’s not a foundation I recommend. Also be careful with their colour matching.

I do have to mention that when I visited the Benefit counter I emphasised I had eczema skin and couldn’t wear anything with parabens at the time. The assured me their products were paraben free and I’d spent hundreds on make up. I stated using it and eventually my eczema was getting worse and worse it turns out the staff on the counter lied to me and their products contained parabens. I still had the receipt and some items weren’t even opened yet. I bagged them all up and took them back to the benefit counter with a very visible rash on my face. The staff were aggressive, said I was lying and their products weren’t irritating my skin. I told them I was lied too and the products were missold to me and they didn’t care. Also the Estée Lauder and Urban Decay counter staff told me they wouldn’t recommend benefit cosmetics for my skin type. For this reason I will never buy from benefit cosmetics again. I was stuck with a pile of make up I couldn’t use.

At the moment my favourite drugstore foundation is NYX can’t stop won’t stop and my favourite luxury foundation is Lancôme Tient Idole.

My least favourite foundations are Smashbox hydrating 15hour wear and this Benefit one.

Friday Currently | 01

It's been a while since I posted my Friday Currently post on my other blog site (if you have spare time, check it out! Its vinzecerda.wordpress.com. I know kinda messy there but I promise, as soon as I settle down everything such as; buy my first ever laptop I'll definitely fix and declutter it and once I avail a premium account I also promise that I will make it aesthetically appealing and easy to navigate) and this is actually my first time to write something personal or let say a reality of me beneath the metaphors on tumblr; something I don't conventionaly doing usually I just came up here to write piece or poems or just simply to look unique and great gifs but I wonder? What if I do it here things like personal stuff here on tumblr ? Besides, wordpress aquire tumblr so it actually made sense to do the same thing here. Nevertheless, no one will ever dare to question what I will gonna post, right?

Anyway, above else, I am exhausted. It's second week of October but it feels like forever. I want to do something to detoxify myself 'cause I've been on a lot of drama and rejections related at my work lately which literally affect my stamina to be productive. I'm a bit anxious and I don't like that to extent at some point which might trigger myself to do things that indecisive and and out of the right path. Luckily, tomorrow is my rest day and I don't have plans to do something and my body demands to lay whole day on bedroom. So..

I actually borrowed it to one of my teammate which is actually a bookworm, a wonderful mom of three and lovely, until she suddenly transferred with other project and since I know it would take us a hard time to meet halfway because of work schedule differences I just asked her if I rather arbor it instead and she delightfully said 'yes' and its time to finish it 'cause I'm stuck on Chapter Three and its already collecting dust and cobwebs.

Writing

Another piece about my fragility and stupidity but somehow he gave me a sense of inspiration despite of he's being sweetly mean to me.

Listening

Daylight by Taylor Swift. #StreamLover guys! Anyway, that song is so soothing. I love the arrangement; simple but deep. Taylor proved that she can snatch a wig just playing a piano.

Thinking

If I would manage to stay longer in this company. Maybe I'm just disappointed or rush to prove something or maybe I just need a space and 'me time'

Smelling

My hair. I am a Head and Shoulder shampoo loyalist and I'm obsessed how lasting the scent is. It's been more than 15hours since I took a bath to go to work and arriving at home.

Peace of mind - I am exhausted! Indeed.

[Admin Note: Everybody knows, I love East Africa. It’s beautiful, it’s safe, it’s easy (well relatively so) to travel. But then Anwuli Okeke from Hacking Africa, inspired me to consider this hidden gem that she discovered while backpacking Nigeria. It’s one of those spots that you’ll see once, but never forget. And it’s much different than the experiences you’ll get in Lagos or anywhere else in the country. This is her story of her recent trip.]

Cross River State. One of thirty-six states in Nigeria and situated in the south of the country bordering Cameroon to the east.

A state whose capital, Calabar, is said to be an acronym for “Come And Live And Be At Rest” because Calabar is famous for its women, cuisine, beauty and tranquility. That tranquility and beauty are not reserved to only Calabar though, because a little north of Calabar lies Obudu Mountain Resort, a ranch that’s located on the Obudu plateau, close to the Cameroon Border, and built at an altitude of about 1600 metres above sea level.

The ranch wasn’t always called Obudu Mountain Resort. It was known, at one time, as Obudu Cattle Ranch but one of the state administrations (I’ve forgotten which one) changed the name in order to give the ranch a facelift and attract more tourists (and their income). The name change and renovations worked because now, the resort is one of the go-to places for local and international tourists and couples even go there to get engaged or to mark an anniversary.

Getting to the Resort

I went with a friend to the resort – it was his first time backpacking Nigeria & his first overall visit to Africa – and we flew into Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial capital, then took a flight from Lagos to Calabar (~$80/person), a trip that lasts about an hour. The trip from Lagos to Calabar can be done by road and it should take about 10 – 11 hours though it can take longer since the roads are bad.

If you arrive in Lagos, your final destination is the resort and you intend to travel by road, I suggest going directly to the resort from Lagos rather than going to Calabar before heading to the resort. If you do decide to travel directly to the resort from Lagos, expect to spend between 12 – 15hours on the road, assuming no traffic, or more, assuming traffic. Going to the resort from Lagos is considered a specialty service (because there aren’t many travelers who do this). Therefore, expect to spend a bit more on transportation if you pursue this option.

What We Chose + Other Options

Since there are frequent trips from Calabar to the resort, we chose this option; plus it didn’t hurt that we had people we wanted to visit in Calabar. While in Calabar, we did some sightseeing then hired a private car and driver to the ranch at a cost of ~$100 (for both us and which included gas), after a bit of negotiation. You can expect to pay way less if you share a car with others. Be sure to haggle the price.

If you arrive in Calabar, be sure to make arrangements for transportation to the resort. You can fly there – there’s an airstrip at the resort – but this is expensive. So most people go by road, us included.

The resort is a 206 mile drive from Calabar and the road trip from Calabar to the resort should take about 6 hours, though it can take 10 hours or more because the roads are terrible.

Arriving at the foot of the plateau, on which the resort is located, is the first step. To get to the top (where the resort actually is), we had to drive along a long, narrow and steep road, a road my friend says is not for the faint of heart. The drive uphill can be a bit scary and the road is also very winding so if you typically suffer from carsickness, you may feel a bit nauseous on this trip – just something to keep in mind.

Charter air service is another option to get to the top of the plateau. Also available is a cable car. Both services provide a spectacular view of the landscape (and the really winding road). However as we were on a tight budget, we stuck with our car.

Climate at the resort

Due to its altitude, the temperature is cold when compared to the regular villages/cities in Nigeria. So if you tend to always feel cold, grab a light sweater. I tend to always feel cold but I found the weather to be a refreshing change. However, it does get cold later in the day and I remember really starting to get a chill while taking a walk in the evening and was very sorry I didn’t take a sweater with me when I left my room that morning.

Where to stay

The hotels can be very expensive so a more affordable option is Abebe’s Lodge Obudu with rooms going for $20 – $35. Don’t expect western standards though. Hot water for bathing is available, if you ask for it; but eating is difficult so you’ll have to either cook yourself in the shared kitchen or at the hotel on site. It’ll cost you $9 for a main course meal with a small portion of chicken or fish.

Must-See

A good guide is imperative and one will either be offered to you or you can simply ask around for one. Your guide will suggest attractions for you to see but you can also whisper a thing or two in their ear. They’re very happy to accommodate visitors.

Here are a few sights I recommend:

Prayer Mountain.

You’ll see Cameroon from here, though what you’ll really see are just hills, fog lazily hovering over the tops of these hills and lots of green. Hopefully the weather will be on your side so that you’re able to really take in the view, which is quite lovely without fog or mist. I find the fog or mist quite lovely too especially how they drift above the mountains. But if you’d like to see Cameroon, then the fog or mist is just disappointing. So choose a clear day so get the most out of your trip.

The Cable Car.

It’s sometimes shut down so you want to check if it’s running before you go. A trip on the cable car provides a great view of the resort as well as surrounding areas.

Canopy Walkway.

It’s a walkway situated in trees that allows visitors to have a close view of various bird species. The long and narrow walkway with nets on each side (to avoid a fall) and trees are all around you. Similar to one of those walkways you have seen in an Indiana Jones movie–one he has to run across and break off in order to avoid being caught by his pursuers makes for an adventurous feel despite the peaceful surroundings.

Things to note

There is a restaurant at the resort but the food is expensive. It boasts an international menu but the restaurant may be unable to serve all the meals listed on the menu – which is especially true for international dishes. They’ll typically be able to serve most local dishes.

If you’re able to afford a suite, those come with complimentary breakfast.

There aren’t many recreational facilities in place but the resort is a great location for nature lovers, hikers and campers.

Have some indoor games with you for a rainy day.

Don’t count on passing some of the time by watching TV because the programming isn’t extensive.

Distance from the resort to town is very far. So be sure to take everything you think you could possibly need with you because you won’t be able to easily run into town for a thing or two. Carry drinks, snacks and fruit for late night cravings.

The resort is pretty much in the cloud so depending on your perspective, visibility while on the ranch can be good (if you’d like a view other than the city) or bad (if you’d like an elevated view of the city).

Mobile network sucks too and there’s no Wi-Fi. However, MTN & Glo networks (cell phone service providers in Nigeria) are available up there, so internet access is still possible. Just be sure to register and buy a SIM card and lots of recharge cards (cards that provide airtime minutes).

If you have the time and are able to afford it, there are two natural attractions nearby worthy of a visit – the Afi Forest Reserve and Agbokim Waterfalls – both of which are within 3 hours drive of the Resort.

One last thing – don’t forget your camera!
