I only walked like 1.7 miles with my dog lucy today but my back hurts and im sleepy now….. forgot my phone at home but those eclipse shadows shining filtered thru the leaves were all like

))) ))))

there were really annoying pointy little stickers in the grass nearby though so i had to pick some off of my dog’s paws and ankles before they dug in and then keep her on the path so she wouldn’t step on more

#also: now when I wake up ‘early’ lucy freaks out and automatically believes i’m taking her on a walk #this time it was a drive AND a walk #it was interesting to see that the river was actually flowing well #too many salt cedars and other brush to see straight from the path but from a bridge or other vantage point you can see it #there were a lot of ducks on the other side of the barrier though i could hear them

hear me out, danny speaking russian (dc x dp hc)

so i was just watching a video about space, right? allegedly, turns out if you (an american) wanna board the international space station you must speak russian fluently since the only way to get there is by a russian shuttle and pilot (nasa apparently ended their own shuttle program way back when??) (don’t quote me on this)

so picture danny learning russian at a relatively young age for the sole hope of going to space and such, and it coming out every once in a while when he’s mumbling or something like that (it’s basically second nature to him)

so danny ends up at gotham for whatever reason (demon twins, reveal gone wrong, idc, they’re all cool) and he wants to start anew, so he pretends to only speak russian?? ig?? it’d make for some funny/interesting BatFam interactions i suppose

I have other pictures to post later maybe too..hrmm #The '1' candle is actually a '4' candle with the side part cut off because they didn't have any 1s #I went all out (like under $15 still lol) and got new birthday decorations for him instead of using the same old #ones from the past like 5 birthdays that I've done for the cats lol..#His theme was rainbows mostly in as light of colors as I could find #The legal age to drive a car in the US is 16 so.... honk honk beep beep.. I shall go out and buy him the most expensive car on the market #as soon as March 8th comes. then he can run little errands (probably mostly getting kibbles or chicken somewhere)#stealing the rotisserie chickens from walmart or something lol #AND they would let him have them. i have been a ball of depression lately as well as my physical health worsening pretty severly this past week due to stress and so my friends have been. trying so hard to get me to get out and do things and its very sweet but i feel bad because the whole time i’m just a total mess

#they say they dont mind but i need to really. stop #im stuck.#and i know it’s hard on my friends to see me like this since i’ve been doing a lot better and now am back to my old habits #but i felt bad because they took me out shopping and to dinner tonight and i just had a headache and was limping and couldnt stop talking #about the recent death in my family and all the stress from classes and socially and how lost i feel #and i just wanted so bad to just. enjoy myself but i couldnt #but my friends know about how severe my depression is and are all very used to it #its in fact more normal than not. but i was really. feeling at my best for several months so the crash back down to not eating and sleeping #and being unable to fully tidy my room and all that stuff has been. difficult for me as well as those around me #it’s been normal for me for so long to live terribly that taking care of myself for a while and then losing the drive to has been. hard #im trying to get better but i slide back down #i need to work on my constant self loathing but i keep walking around just. conviced im such a burden and being sad makes it even worse #i just. am always overcompensating for my lack of #ability to love myself with just. constantly showering everyone around me with love and its. hard for me when i dont have the energy to do #even that anymore. its hard to let people take care of me when i just want to take care of them all the time

There's another estate sale coming up soon and I fear I am at risk of finding more cool and useful thingies.

I hope I find a nightstand, my bedside lamp is just on a stack of boxes. And it's also more of a desk lamp, which I will move to my desk once I come across a more nightstand sort of lamp. I also need a short, small, sturdy table to put my sewing machine on, because the big work table is much too high. Hopefully the dead guy had at least one of those 3 things!

I don't know nearly enough about cars to answer that. I'd love to give Vasco a sports car of some sort, but I'd have to look into them a bit more and see which ones could potentially be within his reach.

Machete can drive but doesn't enjoy it, he might even opt for public transport (which he also isn't a fan of) just to avoid having to deal with traffic.

have now been trying to speedrun mastering driving and its not working because on the off chance that i DO want to go somewhere (rare) then it's never worth Actually Driving to get there.

I've been wanting to go to the mall for 2 days bc i wanna look around, and its like you'd BE DRIVING just to go somewhere and walk around for a bit and maybe spend money? And then have to drive back? For that? For walking around and spending money? I'm good, I'll just stay home. The desire to go out immediately killed by the reality of having to drive there

#its not even about it being difficult its just mentally exhausting #i really had to force myself to drive 5 minutes away to get a snack 2 weeks ago #and its not bc the drive there is Hard its bc why would i do all that just do get an ice cream brownie. i enjoyed it but it doesnt #seem Worth it #like regardless of the drive time or reason for driving #its the ''we have food at home'' equivalent of. idk. having experiences #talkys #i have to add the drivers license part now bc ppl keep thinking i dont have it...i do i just never had a car until 2 yrs ago ��#sometimes i feel that thing where its like. you lose the desire to go bc its not as simple as ''get in car -> drive'' it feels more like #get up get dressed get keys enter car turn on car buckle up leave driveway drive to location #which makes it exhausting but thats not the case rn specifically like i do wanna go i can manage to get dressed. but it just doesnt feel #worth all the trouble #but also nothing would make it worth all the trouble #not worth it to get a snack not worth it to go walk around not worth it even if it was a 2hr drive to see someone. its simply not worth it
