in which you make jay feel better after he gets into a fight.
pairing: jay x fem!reader
includes: m and f receiving oral sex, mention of fighting, big dick jay, unprotected sex, cumming inside (lmk if i missed anything).
âi canât believe you, jay,â you said in dismay, pulling out your first aid kid from the closet.
âhe was such a fucking asshole,â jay ranted. âdouchebag had the audacity to say the shit he was saying and didnât expect me to beat the shit out of him.â
you huffed, forcing him to sit on your bathroom countertop. you stood between his legs and started wiping the blood from his face while he continued talking.
âhe was such a pussy,â jay scoffed. âcould hardly fight for shit. needed his friends to back him up since he couldnât throw a punch for the life of him. and i still beat him in a three versus one fight. embarrassing. honestly, i feel bad foââ
âjay,â you interrupted, finally getting him to stop talking. âwhat did the guy even say?â
jayâs jaw clenched as the words repeated in his mind again, the words that made him angry enough to punch the guy right across the face in front of everyone at the party he was at.
âit doesnât matter,â he grumbled.
âyes, it does,â you argued. âif it was bad enough for you to get in a fight then it does matter.â
jay sighed, speaking quickly when he said, âhe was talking about you. disrespecting you. making comments about your body and how since you put out for me, then youâd put out for anyone. i couldnât just stand there and not do anything, y/n.â
your eyebrows raised. you hadnât realized that it even had anything to do with you.
âoh,â you said.
you rubbed some ointment over the spots on jayâs face where he was bleeding. he looked up at you in awe, still in dismay over how someone could say such nasty things about you when he knew that all you were was just a sweet, perfect girl.
âno one talks about my girl like that,â he said softly, reaching out to plant his hands on your hips and pull you in a little closer.
you laughed softly through your nose, placing a bandaid on his cheek.
âiâm not your girl,â you reminded.
sure, you werenât officially dating, but it sure felt like it at times like this. you and jay wereâŠsomething. not dating, but definitely not just friends.
in a perfect world, you would be dating, but it didnât seem possible right now.
âi donât care if you arenât my girlfriend,â jay said. âyou are my girl. youâre mine.â
âokay,â you whispered, your breath fanning his face.
âsay it,â he demanded.
âiâm yours,â you said shyly. âall yours.â
jay pulled you in even closer and connected his lips to yours, completely melting at the feeling. he considered himself a strong, tough man, but if there was anything in the world that made him weak, it was you.
he entangled his fingers in your hair, lips moving slowly and carefully against yours, feeling you and tasting you.
you brought your hands down to his firm thighs, resting them there and slowly feeling the fabric of his jeans grow tighter and tighter.
he wrapped his arms around your waist, pressing you against him. he disconnected his lips from yours, moving down to your chin and to your neck. he sucked on the sensitive skin there, leaving bruises right for everyone to see without a care. he needed everyone to know who you belonged to.
you gripped the fabric from the back of his t-shirt and started pulling it up until he pulled away from you in order to take it off all together, leaving him shirtless on your bathroom counter.
unashamed, you took a good look. you shouldnât have thought he looked good like this. heâd just gotten in a fight but fuck, he looked hot. his lip was split and there was a cut on his upper cheek. he looked all around bruised and it was turning you on more than you would like to admit.
he suddenly stood up from the counter and picked you up like you weighed nothing, easily scooping you into his arms. you buried your head in his neck and inhaled his musky scent as he started walking to your bedroom.
once there, he laid you down on your bed carefully and pressed his half naked body down against yours. you slithered your arms around his neck, pulling him back down to your lips.
he was warm pressed against you, but you needed more. you needed to be even closer to him.
you trailed your hand down his bare torso before landing at his bulge, palming him over his covered erection.
jay sighed into your mouth, pushing his cock into your hand to get more pressure. you squeezed it, feeling the outline clearly from how hard he was.
it didnât take long for that to not be enough, so jay sat up on his knees in order to unbutton his jeans and pull them down his legs, leaving him in just his black boxers.
you tugged down the waistband enough to release his cock, so hard that it stood straight up. it was long and absolutely the perfect fit for your mouth and hole, like you and jay were truly meant to be.
just looking at his cock and feeling it pulsate in your grip, you craved it in your mouth. plus the way he was looking at you starting to jerk it off made you want to suck him off even more.
you leaned down, holding the shaft as you brought the enlarged tip in your mouth, pressing it against your tongue.
âfuck,â jay grunted, immediately bringing his hand down to your hair to pull it back into a ponytail, keeping it out of your face so considerately for you.
you pushed him further down your throat, squeezing your thighs together at the comforting feeling of having him in your mouth. this was exactly you wanted, to be this close to him.
as you hollowed your cheeks and began gliding your mouth up and down his shaft, he started sliding your sweater up your torso until it was bunched around your neck. you were wearing a thin little lacy bra that barely covered your tits.
jay squeezed your breasts as he stared down at your sucking him off like it was your job. never in his life has he gotten a blowjob even close to the way you gave blowjobs. you seemed like you actually enjoyed it, sucking his cock. you put your all into it while the other girls heâd been with barely sucked it for five minutes, desperate to just get fucked by him.
but you were everything. you enjoyed having the tip of his cock nudge against the back of your throat. you enjoyed the taste of his salty precum dripping down your throat.
you looked up at him through your lashes, moaning around his length like it was pleasuring you to suck him off. this is why you were his favorite.
âshit, baby,â he moaned.
he pulled you by your hair off his dick, caressing your face with his thumb while you caught your breath. he looked down at you in awe, feeling so undeserving to have you treat him so good.
he laid you down on your back and tugged you pants and underwear down in one go. he spread your legs, staring at your pussy which was already wet just from giving him head. he couldnât resist it, he just had to have a taste.
leaning forward, he licked a stripe up from the bottom of your pussy to your clit, gathering all your wetness on his tongue as he went.
âfuck, jay,â you moaned so prettily.
he lapped at your cunt, his tongue making a wet sound every time he flicked your folds. your body felt like it was engulfed in flames from the sensation of him eating your pussy.
jay gripped your thighs, keeping them from closing in and squeezing around his head. he looked so fucking good between your legs, you couldnât believe it. his sharp jawline was accentuated as he used the muscles to lick your folds up and down.
he brought his clit into your mouth, sucking on the pretty little nub before releasing it with a pop and going back to licking up and down your soaked slit.
the bruises on his face were more evident now with the time that had passed and you felt bad, partly feeling like it was your fault. you tugged on his hair, pulling him away from your pussy and forcing him to look at you. you traced your fingers over one of the bruises.
âwhatâs wrong?â he asked, noticing the way your demeanor changed.
âdoes it hurt?â you wondered.
âno,â he lied.
his face was pulsating. you knew he was lying too.
he sat up on his knees and you joined him at his level, leaning in to his face to plant a soft kiss on each one of his bruises. he absolutely melted, leaning into your touch like you were healing his wounds with just a kiss.
âmy sweet girl,â he whispered in utter dismay.
how you could go from getting head from him to kissing his bruises in less than a minute was beyond him.
âplease fuck me now,â you whispered back.
and now you were back to being dirty.
jay smirked, pushing you back down onto your mattress. you two rid yourselves out of your remaining clothes until you were both entirely naked.
jay slid his hand up and down his cock a few times before deeming it ready to be inside you. he lined his dripping tip up with your eager hole and slowly pushed inside, feeling your warm walls envelope him.
your eyes were clenched shut from the same pain you always endured when jay first slid inside. he was just too big, but it was one of your favorite things about him. by that point, you two had been fucking each other long enough that you were used to the pain. it didnât last long anymore.
once he was bottomed out inside of you, he rubbed your stomach, feeling the tip of his cock bulge against your pelvis.
âplease,â you whimpered, raising your hips up in desperation.
âi know, sweetheart,â he cooed, caressing your soft skin.
he pulled out slightly before pushing back in, starting his thrusts slow. you threw your head back as he fucked you deeply. you could feel it so much, every time he pushed his cock in and pulled it out, the friction against your walls.
as his thrusts sped up, he brought his fingers down in between your bodies and started rubbing your clit, adding to your pleasure. you clenched around him already.
âfeels so fucking good,â you cried, looking up at him above you.
âi know, angel,â he replied deeply. âyouâre always so tight for me. so tight and so warm for me, yeah?â
âyeah,â you nodded pathetically, clenching around him again just from the way he was talking to you.
his pace was much swifter then, fast enough that the sound of his legs hitting the back of your thighs echoed in your bedroom. plus, you were moaning like it was your first time getting fucked by him, but it just felt too good every single time. his dick was too good, good enough that you wished you could be his girlfriend.
âyouâre so fuckinâ wet,â he grunted. âi can barely keep my fingers on your clit.â
your arousal was literally spilling out around his cock, making your puffy clit almost too slippery to keep his fingers on. you wrapped your hand around his wrist and kept it against your pussy so they wouldnât slip. jay groaned out at that, at how effortlessly fucking sexy you were.
jay started fucking you as hard as he could then, needing to make a complete mess out of you because you made a complete mess out of him without even trying.
he pounded into your pussy, drilling you into your mattress and all you could do was take it and whine like a cock slut. you did feel like at times, you were a slut for his cock.
âfuck yes!â you cried, nails clawing into his abs. âfuck me! harder, jay!â
he gripped the top of your headboard and fucked you impossibly harder, your entire body jolting with the effort he was giving. your tits bounced right in front of him and his cock twitched, warning that he could cum soon.
âfuuuuck, baby,â he growled, grabbing one of your tits in his hands and squeezing harshly. âlove this dick, donât you? tell me you love it.â
âyes, jay!â you yelled. âshit, i love your dick. oh my god, i need you to fuck me for the rest of my life.â
jay felt like he could black out. you were so perfect.
his abs clenched and he felt it coming fast.
âiâm gonna fucking cum,â he warned, his hips still slamming into you. âwhere do you want me, baby?â
âinside me!â
jay thought he actually did black out then.
he felt you clench around him suddenly, reaching your orgasm without even telling him. your eyes filled with tears from the mere pleasure of it.
âthatâs it, baby,â he cooed, still furiously chasing his own orgasm.
âi love you,â you moaned out as you came around his cock.
jay let out a deep moan, felt his cock twitch one more time inside you, and then he was dumping his big load right inside your pussy.
âi love you,â he replied, holding you close to him as he released everything he had into you.
he came for what felt like a lifetime, intense and exhausting. as soon as he finished, he felt like he couldnât even keep himself upright anymore.
he pulled out of you, watching the cum spill from your pussy and onto your sheets. he then laid down beside you, pulling you into his chest and kissing the top of your head.
âyouâre perfect,â he told you, squeezing you tight and keeping you close. âi love you so much.â
âi love you more,â you mumbled tiredly against his chest.
a few minutes passed without either of you saying anything. he wasnât sure if you fell asleep or not but he spoke up again anyway.
âi wish you really could be mine.â

Medical Emergency
Summary: Jake 'Hangman' Seresin x Fe!Reader -> When Jake gets a call asking to pick you up from the hospital, it's safe to say he's confused. Especially considering neither of you were known for getting along with the other.
Disclaimer: Enemies to lovers, brother's best friend, descriptions of being ill (nothing fully specified, just fainting a lot, low blood sugar and hormones), swearing, fluff, steamy moments, he takes care of you. This has been in my w.i.p for a while now so it's kinda a long one. Not Proof Read.
It was safe to say Jake was confused to find out he was your emergency contact.Â
It was known to most people in the town that you and Jake werenât exactly the best of friends. The hatred started all back when he was brought into Top Gun the first time round. Before he suddenly became the best, of the best of the best. And each year he came back, it only got worse.Â
Neither of you would be surprised if everyone in San Diego knew about how much you and Jake didnât get along.Â
So, yeah. Getting a call from a Nurse called Emma telling him he needed to come and pick you up from the hospitalâŠhe was confused.Â
Heâd spent most of the day training the new recruits at Top Gun. He was on base when he got the call, but twenty minutes later, he was parked outside the hospital and was being shown to your room.Â
âSheâs to take two of these every six hours for the next three days. If she has any drastic changes; dizziness, nausea, vomiting, etc. Bring her back. But she should be okay.â
He hadnât even been told what had happened.Â
Then he saw you.Â
On a typical day, your hair was either up or down. You typically wore bright colours since the kids in your class like to point them out and name them. And even at the end of the week when youâd walk into the Hard Deck, Penny already having your drink waiting for you, and youâd look tired and ready to go to bed, you were stillâŠbright. Put together.Â
But from where he was standing, you were dressed in grey sweats and a Top-Gun hoodie. Most likely, you thought it was your brotherâs. But from the worn hole around the edge of it let Jake know it was his. One your brother had never returned to him.Â
You lookedâŠlike you needed to be comforted.Â
Your hair was pulled back into a messy ponytail at the base of your skull. Any hints of make-up had been long washed away. Your nail polish was chipped, if not already peeled from your nails.Â
Finally slipping your shoes on, you stood slowly. You looked like you needed to sleep for a year, and maybe take another nap for eight months.Â
âJust sign here and here and then youâre free to go.â
Jake watched as the nurseâs words just about registered in your ears before you slowly picked the pen up from her hand and signed your name at the bottom of the paper.Â
Reaching to grab the rest of your stuff, Jake almost swooped forwards. âIâve got it.â
You just nodded. âThanks.â
Any other day, you would have told him you could do it yourself and tell him to fuck off.Â
He picked up your overnight bag and, with a hand at the bottom of your back, led you out of the hospital.Â
âThis way.â
You followed him back to his car and once he knew you were safe inside the passenger seat, he rounded the car and got into his seat.Â
âI did tell them just to call me a cab. You can just drop me off down the road. You donât need to-â
âIâm not letting you walk home.â He told you. âWhatâs your address?â
Part of Jake wished youâd fight him more about walking home. At least that way heâd know you were actually okay. He still would have driven you home, butâŠhe wanted you back.Â
Typing your address into his phone, he followed the sat-nav.Â
By the time he pulled up outside your house, you were asleep. He waited for five minutes, letting you sleep whilst he researched and read the prescription youâd been given.Â
Then he looked up at your house. You had to have a spare key.Â
Carefully, he left his car and walked up your path. He looked in all the typical places until he found a small patch of wood from your porch coming loose. Inside was your key.Â
So, opening your door and carrying your things inside, he came back for you.Â
Unbuckling your seatbelt, he placed one of your arms around his neck before placing his own arms around your back and under your legs.Â
âItâs okay. Go back to sleep.â
And you did.Â
Shutting the door to his car with his back, he carried you into your house, shutting your front door with his foot before taking you into your bedroom and laying you on top of your sheets. Looking around, he found a basket of blankets just under your window.Â
However, as he covered you up, he checked your temp with the back of his hand. You seemed okay.Â
Then you reached for him.Â
It was only for a few seconds, but you held his hand before your body fell back to sleep.Â
Before he left your room, Jake got you a glass of water and left your window on a latch. And then he stayed.Â
Kicking off his boots by the door, he locked everything up around your home before laying down on top of the guest bed with a million and one questions circling around his head.Â
Why was he your emergency contact? What had happened? Why didnât anyone else tell him you were in the hospital for, clearly, more than a couple of hours?Â
You spent the next two days in and out of consciousness. The hospital told Jake not to worry and that it was a good sign you were sleeping. Heâd wake you every couple of hours and give you your tablets.Â
And each time, youâd wake up with the same confusion of how and why he was in your house. And then youâd remember. And apologise. And thank him. Before heâd tell you to lay back down and get some rest.Â
By the time you came round, you woke up to texts pinging on your phone.Â
How could you not tell me you were dating someone?
We SERIOUSLY need to catch up about this when youâre back in.Â
Your boyfriend called the school. Why is this how Iâm finding out youâre sick?
Get better soon, honey xoxo
Also, donât worry about the kids. Iâve got your class covered.Â
One of your fellow-teacher best friends. You and her had joined the school as teachers in the same year. She had been away on a cruise for the last two weeks.Â
Slowly, everything that had happened over the last two days came flooding back to you. They had called Jake. He had come to get you at the hospital. He kept waking you up. Had he stayed that whole time? Was he the one to call your school?
Pulling yourself from your bed and heading to the bathroom, you caught a look of yourself in the mirror. You lookedâŠrough. And also the exact same as you had when youâd left the hospital. Maybe there was a little more colour in your cheeks.Â
And you did feel better.Â
The room felt still and you didnât feel like throwing up all your insides out, despite being unable to do so.Â
Drying your hands on the towel, you made your way through your home. Things wereâŠtidy. Militarily so. The last time your place, although tidy, had looked militarily tidy had been when your brother had visited you before he got deployed again.Â
So, either, he was here now. Jake was still here. Or you had a ghost haunting your house that just so happened to be in the Navy.Â
Walking down the stairs, you found a pair of boots at the bottom of your stairs. They definitely werenât yours.Â
Then you heard someone in the kitchen. The smell of fresh bread and chicken noodle soup wafted through your home.Â
It was a minute or two before Jake spotted you. It felt like a fever dream, watching him in your kitchen, dressed normally, a towel slung over his shoulder as he slid the bread buns from the tray to a cooling rack.Â
âOh, hey. Youâre awake.â
You nodded. âDid you cook?â
âHow are you feeling?â Jake made his way over to you, his hand coming to touch your forehead and cheeks. You swatted his hands away. You could have sworn you saw him smile after you did it.Â
âGet off me, Iâm fine.â
Jake smiled as he watched you make your way to sit down on the opposite side of the kitchen island. You looked way better than you had done when he saw you in the hospital.Â
âWhat day is it?â
âTuesday.â He told you, continuing to slide all but one of the bread buns onto the cooling back. The final one, he dropped onto a plate before dishing out a bowl of the soup.Â
âEat up. Youâre gonna need your strength.â
You looked at the food in front of you. âYou made this?â
âI made it.â
You looked at him sceptically. âIs this how you plan to kill me? She was weak, your honour. I just wanted to help her.â
âWhy would I take care of you for three days and then kill you? Itâd be easier if I did it in three days.â
âSo you did think about it.â
Jake rolled his eyes and handed you a fork. âJust eat.â
You couldnât lie, it was one of the best mealâs youâd had in a long time. And as you ate, you looked around your home. Your books had been tidied away and back onto your shelves. All except two. One you were part way through reading and one that wasâŠalmost finished. But not by you.Â
You didnât notice as Jake watched you take everything in. Your books, your pots of pens. You dish towels, your spices and other baking ingredients. Some had even been put into the jars you had been meaning to fill back up. Then you noticed the smaller things. Like how heâd put up the wooden signs in your kitchen youâd been planning to do for months, and how heâd cleanedâŠeverything.Â
It looked like heâd done a complete renovation of your place whilst youâd been knocked out.Â
Then you noticed the pile of papers on your kitchen counter.Â
The English and maths tests youâd given to your class a few weeks ago. You hadnât finished marking them.Â
But Jake had.Â
You took the top paper and looked it over.Â
âDid you mark these?â You flipped through the pages. Not only were they marked, but they were marked correctly. They even had a sticker on each of âwell doneâ or âgreat stuffâ.Â
You heard Jake chuckle. âI am a teacher, too, you know.â
âYouâre aâŠTop Gun instructor. Not a third-grade teacher.â
âI do suppose I am over qualified to help but-â
You shook your head. You hadnât meant for it to sound so insulting.
âNo, I-I mean, thank you. But you didnât have to do this. Any of this.â You gestured around your home. âYou already did enough bringing me home.â
âI wanted to ask you about that. Why was it me that brought you home? Surely you have people who you actually like, to be your emergency contact?â
Tyler watched as you fell silent and searched for the words to tell him.Â
âYouâreâŠnot.â Taking a breath, you looked up at him. âTheyâŠthey tried a couple of people. They couldnât make it. One of the nurses knows Penny so called and asked if she had anyoneâs number who I knew. I did try and tell them to just call me a cab.â
He let your words settle over him.Â
âWho?â
âWhat?â
âWho else did you call? Who didnât pick up?â
You listed them off. Most were people in your family and a couple of friends.Â
âI would have fought them on it but-â
âIâm glad you called me.â Jake admitted you. And it struck you. âGive me your phone.â
You slid it over to him. And he called his number from your phone.Â
âIf anything like that happens again, I want you to call me.â
âJake-â
He shook his head. âYouâre not fighting me on this. Fight me on everything else. Anything else. But not this. Call me.â
So you just nodded. âOkay.â
âGood. And eat up, too.â
You did. âYou say that as if weâve got some place to be.â
âWe do.â
âWhere?â
âYouâll see.â
Twenty minutes later he practically shoved you into your bathroom en-suit telling you to shower and get changed.Â
âI thought my nurse was meant to be kind.â
âI am kind!â He said. âAnd Iâm not a nurse. And Iâm a friend.â
You laughed a little at that one.Â
âIâve seen the inside of your junk drawer. Iâm your friend. I have to be, or else I donât have a word for it.â
He did have a point on that. Your junk drawerâŠeven you hadnât seen the inside of that thing in at least a year.Â
So, after getting dressed, taking the last of your antibiotic and forcing some kind of health smoothie Hangman had made you with the blender he found at the back of your cupboard, you found yourself back in the passenger seat of his car.Â
âWhere are we going?â
He said nothing, just smiled and pulled the aviators from his collar and put them on before starting his engine and for a moment you wondered if that was what he did when he got into his jet. Flash his million-dollar smile before starting his jet engine and taking off into the sky. For a moment you wondered what it would be like to watch him land and look over at you just like he did.Â
But then you forced yourself back to reality.Â
This was Jake Seresin, aka Hangman. Given that name because he hangs his team out to dry.Â
But he didnât leave you.Â
In fact, he was the only one to show up.Â
And the first to stay.Â
You read the road signs as best as you could until you realised where he was taking you.Â
âYou know there is a beach like ten minutes from my house.â
He nodded. âI know. But youâre there all the time. Youâve seen that patch a thousand times. This is different.â
âHow? Isnât all sand the same?â
He shrugged, still smiling. âMaybe. But they always say the beach can work a thousand miracles. Come on.â
It was a five minute walk to the bottom.Â
âIs it usually this empty?â
He looked around. âThereâs usually a couple more people, but yeah. This is usually it. Not many people drive this far down. They think itâs not the best but to meâŠcouldnât be more perfect.â
âHuh.â
âWhat?â Jake asked, looking at you.Â
You continued looking out to the water. You shook your head. âNo, nothing. JustâŠnever thought youâd be the sentimental type.â
âWellâŠIâm not.âÂ
You looked at him.Â
âTo most people.â
It was at that moment you felt a small crackle. Either in your chest or your gut, something crackled. And you felt the blanket of hatred you had for Jake Seresin start to fade.Â
His call sign might be âHangmanâ, but you had a strong feeling that when it came to those he cared aboutâŠhe tried his best to stick around. And even if he couldnât, heâd make a memory of them to last a lifetime.Â
 For the rest of the day, you spent most of your time lying on the beach watching the waves or reading your book, which he had packed. And it wasâŠone of the best days youâd had in a long time.Â
âWhy are you doing this?â
âWhat?â Moving the book from his face, Jake looked at you from beneath his shades as you lay on your stomach beside him.Â
âThis? Less than a week ago Iâm pretty sure people would have made money on you and I killing each other. Why are you helping me?â
âBecause you need it. And Iâm pretty sure anyone else would believe you when you say that you donât.â
âAnd you donât believe me?â
He shook his head. âNo.â
âWhy not?â
âBecause I know you.â
You scoffed. âWhat do you mean you know me?â
You watched as he smiled and tried to kill the butterflies in your stomach.Â
âY/n.â
You were still getting used to the fact he was using your first name. Usually it was your last, or some sweet nickname like âSweetheartâ that would grate through your entire body.Â
âYou spend most of your time making sure everyone feels okay and is doing okay. The only time you actually let your feelings know is when youâre taking shit to me. You deserve a break. You deserve to take one before your body forces you to have one.â
Hearing his words as he spoke, you slowly sat up until your back was to the water and you were fully facing him.Â
âPlus, your brother asked me to look out for you. And Iâd rather not suffer his wrath again.â
Okay, that had to be complete bull. Your brotherâs wrath when it came to protecting you, that was true. But why ask Jake of all people given he knew your history and track record with him.Â
And what did he mean by again?
You barely had time to ask all of your questions before you watched him stand up, throwing his book closed to the ground. You mentally scolded yourself for letting your eyes wander all over him.Â
You werenât blind to the fact Hangman looked, well, like him. A daring smile, enough charm to charm even the most sourest of people and the body to go with it. But before today, you had been immune. At least, you considered yourself immune since the blanket of hatred that you held for him seemed to block plenty out.Â
Worst of all, he caught you.Â
You knew he caught you because of the smirk on his face and the chuckle that escaped his broad chest.Â
âShut up.â You groaned, forcing yourself to stand. âIâve been in the hospital. My immune system is temporarily weakened.â
âIt isnât the first time Iâve caught you, Sweetheart.â Seresin drawled just as you looked at him both annoyed and confused. And maybe slightly offended that he thought you had, before today, purposefully checked him out.Â
But he just laughed. âCome on, I want to show you something.â
âBut what about our stuff?â
âItâll be safe. I know most of the people on this beach, theyâll make sure nothing happens to it.â
Taking your hand in his, he led you down the beach, under a small cove and through to the otherside where some rocks were covered in seaweed and sand.Â
And for a while, you and Jake explored the place. Youâd never been this far down the beach so finding out it existed was a bonus. Finding seaweed to pop and watching the crabs crawl across some of the rocks was fun.Â
Youâd never stop to take a break. Straight out of college, youâd begun teaching. It had been in your home town until your brother got accepted into Top Gun. And, with an internalised fear of losing him, you moved out to San Diego. You knew after a while heâd be stationed somewhere else, but youâd managed to find a home there. And when your brother was stationed not too far from his Top Gun base, the rest of your family moved closer.Â
Since then, it has been helping them get settled, tutoring their children after spending all day teaching. It was sleepless nights spent alone at home, living off the quickest food you could make because you simply didnât have time to cook. It was running yourself so far into the ground that the one person who you never thought would even step foot into your home was the only one to show up and give you enough space to actually relax.Â
So watching crabs walk along the rocks was fun.Â
And hearing your name, and calling out his name above the waves, without hatred or malice behind it, was fun, too.Â
âCome and look at this.â
Carefully, you made your way over the rocks, trying your best not to slip and hit your head. And you did so, until the last rock before you joined him.Â
Letting out a small yell as you reached out to try and catch yourself, he threw out his hand and caught you.Â
âYou okay?â
âFine.â
âCan you stand?â
You lowered yourself to a lower rock, still holding onto his arms before letting go and allowing yourself to take his hand and help you up the rest of the way.Â
âWhat am I looking at?â
It was a starfish.Â
The rest of the day, you and Jake explored the shore, skipped rocks on the calming water, sunbathed and even took a swim in the water.Â
By the time the sun had set, you found yourself sitting with him on the hood of his car, a pizza box between you both, watching the planes fly from the airport.Â
A week ago, if anyone had told you that you would have done any of this, especially with Hangman, you would never have believed them.Â
âThank you, for your help.â You blurted out as you watched another plane fly into the sky.Â
âYou donât have to thank me.â
âYes, I do.â You wanted him to listen to you. âGiven our track record for being nice to each other, I wouldnât have been surprised if you didnât turn up at the hospital to bring me home. But you did. And you made sure I didnât fall into some kind of coma after it. And today you gave me the first day, I think, ever, where Iâve not done a thousand things for somebody else and enjoyed what I was doing. So, I do need to thank you for that.â
âAre you sayingâŠyouâŠlike me?â
You couldnât stop the smile on your face, but you tried to force it away. âOkay.â
âNo, no. I mean, this is a miracle.â
âYouâre tolerable.â You corrected him.Â
Smiling, he took another slice of pizza. âYou like me.â
âNo, I donât.â
âYou like me. I am now your friend. We are now friends.â
You shook your head, holding in a laugh. âJust shut up and eat your pizza.â
It was safe to say after that, that everyone was shocked at the dynamic between both you and Hangman.Â
They had all gotten so used to the insults and borderline flirty comments youâd both sling each other's way, it had become like white noise. So, when it was gone and replaced with laughter and smiling, it gave everyone a terrified feeling.Â
âIâm guessing theyâre not here yet.â
Penny shook her head as she poured another pint. With a smile, she nodded over to the other end of the bar. âTheyâre over there.â
Twenty minutes later, it had become like a social study for everyone in the bar to watch you and Jake.Â
âDo you think they fucked? Got all that pent up energy out?â
Coyote shook his head. âNo, he would have told me. How long have they been like this? Maybe theyâve been hypnotised into liking each other?â
Rooster shook his head. âThe hypnotist left like three months ago. Maybe theyâreâŠfaking it. Do you think they heard us talking about them last week? About who would kill who first? Maybe theyâre teaming up so nobody wins?â
Penny shook her head as she wiped down the bar. âWell, whatever it is, itâs a nice change. She looks a lot happier. They both do. Who knows, maybe next weâll be holding a wedding here.â
âNot their wedding?â Rooster seemed shocked. âPenny, they were about three insults away from killing each other three weeks ago.â
âLove is blind, as they say.â
For the rest of the night, people watched you and Jake sat together. Seresin and Y/l/n. Hangman and Sweetheart.Â
And then they watched as you walked home.Â
Together.Â
It was safe to say everyone was shocked to their core. For the first time ever, there had been a night where both you and Jake had not only been in the bar at the same time but had also sat together for the whole night, and not once killed each other.Â
Verbally or otherwise.Â
âYou know, youâre not as big of a dick as I thought you were Seresin. Tonight was a nice change.â
âI have been known to be kind once in a while.â
âKeep this up, you might be fit to see another day.â
âSo might you.â Jake replied as he watched you climb the steps of your front porch. âI meant what I said, about taking a break. You deserve one, Y/n.â
You took in what he said with a small nod before adding. âYou know, itâs still freaking me out, you even know my first name.â
âIf it helps, the nurse had to tell me.â He said. âGuess Iâve called you by your last name so much, I forgot your first.â
âIs that why you keep saying it? So you donât forget?â
He shrugged, a slight smirk on his face. âMaybe. Maybe not.â
âYou know, it is okay if you forget it once in a while.â
Jake smiled a little at that. âHow could I forget the name of the woman who once dumped three shots of tabasco sauce into my drink?â
âHey, you canât prove that was me.â
âHey, the bottle was in your hand.â
You unlocked your door. âI still plead not guilty.â
âWhatever you say, Sweetheart. Sure youâre okay on your own?â
You nodded. âIâll be fine. Besides, donât you have an early start in the morning?â
He nodded. âEven so. Call me.â
âGoodnight, Jake.â
âNight, Sweetheart.â
He waited for you to lock your doors before he got into his car and drove back home.Â
The following weeks continued the same way. If anybody who was anybody saw you and Jake ïżœïżœïżœHangmanâ Seresin together, in the same room, talking. They would stop and watch.Â
Never in a million years did anyone expect you and Jake to talk, never mind actually become friends.Â
Each Friday, you met each other at the bar. You both have a drink. Youâd both sit and talk. Maybe some of your old ways were still there with each other, but there was less â25 to lifeâ about it and more âaffectionâ in the words you both said.Â
However, it nearly gave people an aneurysm when they thought you were both actually dating.Â
Two people who were thirty seconds away from physically fighting each other every day had gone from, well, that, toâŠtoâŠto dating?
It couldnât beâŠcould it?
And the rumours that had been spread by one of the bar regulars, after sheâd spotted both of you grocery shopping together before spotting Jakeâs car leave from the top of your road hours later, were only fueled when they heard about what happened at the school.Â
It had been months since you fainted and you had been getting better. You felt better, you felt like you had more energy. And with Jakeâs help you started to feel like a person again. A person who wasnât wholly consumed by their work constantly, whether they were ten miles from the building or not.Â
Except, one morning, you woke up and feltâŠoff.Â
Something wasnât right. You couldnât put your finger on it, but something didnât feel right. Maybe your period was coming early. It has been doing that lately. Surprising you when you least expected or wanted it.Â
Just a few weeks ago, it had arrived early once again. And the pain youâd felt in the days before nearly floored you. And when you hadnât showed up at the bar like youâd agreed to with Jake, he came looking for you. That night heâd taken a quick trip to the grocery store after you told him what happened. He looked after you. Made sure you were okay. The next day, he drove you back to the store and you stocked up on supplies and snacks.Â
It was also later that night when he surprised you by making dinner.Â
Opening up your fridge, you took one of the healthy smoothies that Jake had left you the last time heâd come round, before packing it into your bag and heading to work.Â
Your queasy feelings only got worse. And thenâŠyou felt it.Â
Sticking on a documentary for your class, you took your phone and slowly made your way towards the teachers bathroom, stopping off at the next class.Â
âCan you keep an eye on them for a couple of minutes?âÂ
Your best friend nodded. âCourseâ honey.â Before asking her TA to go next door.Â
âYou okay?â
You tried your best to look okay, despite everything you were feeling inside.Â
âYeah. Yeah. I will be.â
As the TA headed next door, you made your way towards the bathroom, then dialled his number.Â
âHey,â Jake said as he answered. âJust about to call you. Theyâve got a showing of The Wizard of Oz tonight at the theatre, if you wanted to go-â
âJake.â
âAre you okay? Whatâs happened? Is everything okay? Is it your brother-â
âEveryâŠâ You swallowed thickly before carefully lowering yourself onto the floor with your back against the wall, and unlocking the door. âEverythingâs okay, itâs justâŠâ
Jake had a strong feeling he knew what was happening. âIâm on my way. Where are you?â
âSchool bathroom. Teacherâs.â
âOkay.â You could hear him leaving his office and getting into his car. âIs the door unlocked?â
You didnât answer.Â
âY/n.â
âIâm here.â
Jake breathed. âY/n, Sweetheart. Is the door unlocked to the bathroom?â
âYes.â
âDoes anyone else know youâre there?â
You explained what happened as best as you could.Â
âJust, please get here soon?â
âI will, Sweetheart. I promise. Iâm almost there.â
You didnât know how long had passed but it wasnât long before you heard your name being called out by Jake.Â
Pulling the door open a little from the floor, Jake ran towards it and peeked inside. There you were, sat with your knees close to your chest, against the wall.Â
He stepped inside before crouching down.Â
âI-Iâm sorry I called. I just-â
Checking you over, Jake cupped your face. âHey, no. No. Iâm glad you called me. You can always call me. How are you feeling?â
âDizzy. Itâs better now but still like the room is spinning. And Iâm not harnessed in.â
âOkay. Do you think you can stand?â
You gave a small nod. âMaybe.â
Helping you up, Jake took your hands in his and you stood up.Â
âCome on, weâre getting you checked out at the ER.â
You would have fought him on it but considering the last time it happened they kept you in overnight, you went willingly.Â
Thankfully, you didnât pass out even when the dizziness and the nausea felt like they were getting worse.Â
By the time the doctor saw you, she did all of the routine checks before turning and looking at Jake and back to you.Â
âIs there a possibility you could be pregnant? Iâve seen a lot of couples come in here with similar symptoms and-â
Oh shit.Â
âOh, no. I-Iâm not. And heâs not-â
âWeâre- Weâre not together.â
A few more awkward moments like that filled the next couple of hours until both yourself and Jake seemed to give up on correcting people.Â
By the time they discharged you, they told you your blood sugar levels had dropped and your hormones were beginning to change with your cycle. Along with the advice to try and reduce stress.Â
Driving you home that night, Jake made a detour. Towards the diner and then towards the beach along The Hard Deck.Â
It was quiet for a Tuesday evening, but yourself and Jake just sat and ate dinner whilst watching the water push in and pull out constantly across the sand until eventually, laying your head on his shoulder, he placed his arm around your own.Â
âThank you. For everything youâve done for me.â
âThank you for calling me. Are you feeling any better?â
You nodded, gratefully. âJust a little tired, that's all.â
âIâll drop you off at home, soon, if youâd like.â
You nodded then looked at him. And before you could stop yourself, you asked him; âWould you stay with me? Tonight? If you canât- or if you donât want to-â
âIâll stay.â
âA-are youâŠsure?â
Jake nodded, a faint smile on his lips. âIâll stay with you.â
You didnât know what else to say other than thank you, so pressing a light kiss to his cheek, you said as much. âThank you.â
You could have sworn you saw him blush as he smiled and looked down. âAnytime.â
It was odd really, laying beside the man you thought youâd be telling your kids about when you were older. About how much you hated him and how much he hated you, and why neither of you could sit next to each other at the Thanksgiving table every year.Â
Jake had decided to stay in your guest bedroom, but the minute you heard him lay down in his bed, you feltâŠawake. Not wide awake. You were still tired. But you werenât settled. Something inside of you wanted to be closer to him.Â
So, after an hour of laying on your back, staring at your ceiling and listening to the distant shore line, with the odd rumble of a carâs engine running up and down the road every now and again, you got up.Â
Jake had left his door open. If you shouted for him, or needed him, he would be able to hear you. Usually, heâd be out like a light, waking up at the smallest of noises. But this time, he couldnât sleep.Â
Instead, his mind was going over the fact you had called him when you were at work. And the fact that he enjoyed it when you were with him. That he was the one you chose to lean on. And the fact that he wished he was down the hall with you at that moment, then lay alone in the dark in your guest bedroom.Â
Then he heard you.Â
From the dim, moonlit hallway, he saw you.Â
âHey, everything-â
âCan I stay with you?â
Already half way up, Jake paused for a second. Then nodded. ââCourse. Come âere.â
Walking over, Jake pulled the covers back and you climbed under them before feeling his arm wrap around you. And your arms came around him, one over his shoulder and round his neck, the other by his side.Â
Instinctively, he pulled one of your legs across him and held it there whilst his other arm remained securely around your back, holding you to him.Â
âIs this okay?â
He felt you nod and he nervously swallowed.Â
âAre you okay, Sweetheart?â
In a quiet voice, your breath against his neck, you answered. âBetter now.â
Pressing a kiss to your head, you nuzzled into each other.Â
âGood.â
Not too long after that, you both fell asleep.Â
And when you both woke up, neither of you wanted to move.Â
If this had somehow happened six months ago, you probably would have thrown each other to the other side of the room. But it wasnât six months ago. And youâd come to know Jake asâŠJake. Who took care of his friends, and made sure everyone was okay and was kind and caring andâŠa lot of other things you didnât want to think about at six oâclock in the morning.Â
And the way he was looking at you at that moment made you think about other things that you didnât want to think about.Â
âWhat are you thinking about?â Jake asked after a few moments of watching you study him.Â
âThat you need to stop looking at me like that.â
âLike what?â
âLike youâŠlike me.â
Jake smiled. âI do like you, Sweetheart.â
âJake.â
Then, for a moment, everything feltâŠserious. His tired smile dropped a little from his lips as he looked at you.Â
âDo you trust me?â
You felt your heartbeat pick up in your chest and for a moment, you wondered if he could hear it.Â
âYes.â
Tucking your hair behind your ear, you felt him cup your cheek. âY/nâŠâ
He seemed nervous.Â
âCan I kiss you?â
If you had let yourself think about it long enough, you never would have guessed Jake âHangmanâ Seresin, who went after whatever, and usually whoever he wanted, would ask if he could kiss. Youâd always assumed that he was so confident in life and with women that heâd know. That heâd see the small signals. Or even the loud ones. And justâŠkiss a girl.Â
But no.Â
He asked.Â
And something in your gut jumped.Â
So you answered; âYes.â
Nervously, he licked his lips before he leaned in. And kissing him feltâŠweird. Because it feltâŠnormal. Unlike anything else youâd felt in your life.Â
You managed to pull him closer, until he was leaning above you. âIs this okay?â
âYes.â
From there, the softer, searching kisses slowly faded away and turned into something more. More wanting, more needing. Feeling his hands move down your body before he gripped your hips, and pulled you closer to him and carefully slid them back up until the fabric of your t-shirt began to bunch together.Â
Feeling him press into your thigh, you let out a small noise that was only swallowed by his kiss. Swiftly, he pulled you across him, your legs straddling his lap before he sat up. Once more, he pushed the hair from your face and took you in, in the rising daylight.Â
No words were spoken out loud, but everything was said.Â
Leaning down, you kissed him again before letting your own hands move down his chest and towards the hem of his t-shirt. Except, just as he pulled you closer by your waist, his hips rocking into you, you both jolted at the sound of his alarm.Â
âSorry.â Jake quickly turned and switched it off. You were both going to be late for work.Â
âIf we donât get ready now, weâre gonna be late.â
Looking at him, you didnât know fully what to say. It had just been the hottest make out session of your life, with a guy six months ago people would have bet money on you killing. And youâd both been cock-blocked by his alarm.Â
âIâll meet you here, after work?â
That made you smile. âOkay.â
Then he did, too. âOkay.â Before throwing his phone to the side and pulling you down to kiss him. But as you pulled away, he groaned, trying to pull you back to continue but you walked a good three feet away from the bed.Â
âCanât be late, Hangman. Youâve got pilots to teach.â
With a coy smile, he was standing in front of you within seconds before lifting you onto the dresser behind you. This time, it was you trying to pull him back when he stopped kissing you. But he just stood back and let out a small chuckle.Â
âWeâve both got students to teach, Sweetheart. We stay here any longer, theyâre both gonna miss us.â
One final kiss to your lips, he stood back and practically ran away before you could grab hold of him.Â
Twenty minutes later, he was showered and dressed for the day and had poured you a coffee to-go as well as packed you another smoothie and grabbed your lunch for you before youâd come downstairs, dressed and began loading the last of the exam papers into your bags.Â
He dropped you back off at work, however, when you realised he was waiting in the parking lot for you to enter, you left your bags by the pillar and walked back. With his window already being down, you leaned in and kissed him, feeling his hand cup the back of your head.Â
âSee you tonight?â
âSee you tonight.â
The day for either of you couldnât have felt longer. And by the time Jake came walking through your back door, dropping his bag onto one of the pantry hooks, he couldnât have been more relieved to see you.Â
And for a moment, he just watched you as you sat on the sofa with crossed legs, flipping through a textbook and making notes. Softly, he approached you from behind before wrapping his arms around your shoulders.Â
You smiled.Â
âHey, Sweetheart.â
âYouâre back.â
You felt him relax against you. âFinally.â
âThereâs some food. I made you a plate in the oven.â
He pressed a kiss to your head before walking towards the kitchen. âI would have cooked.â
âI know, but I needed the distraction.â
Waltzing back inside holding onto the warm plate, he smirked as he popped a fork-full of veg into his mouth. You could already feel your cheeks heating and from the look on his face, he could see it clear as day.Â
âDistraction from what?â
âNothing in particular.â
âNothing, huh?â
At some point, he put down his plate and rounded back to the sofa, standing behind you before pressing soft kisses into the side of your neck.Â
âJake.â
The way you said his name went straight to his dick.Â
As he moved your hair, you leaned to grant him more access. A satisfied smirk came to his lips as he watched your legs move to straighten out.Â
âIâve been thinking about you all day, Sweetheart.â
Eventually, you felt Jake move away but he appeared again, lowering himself in front of you. Taking the textbooks and notes from you and placing them on the coffee table behind him, he leaned forward and pulled you in to kiss him.Â
âHave you been thinking about me?â
Feeling his hand move up your thigh and towards your shorts, you leaned in closer. âHave you, Sweetheart?â
âYes,â your voice came out breathy.Â
âIs this okay?â
You nodded.Â
âI need words, darlinâ.â
âYes. Yes, itâs okay.â
As time passed, the small part of you that was still able to function started to ask questions. Like why you had hated him so much in the first place? And how you almost missedâŠhim.Â
And by the time you woke up in the morning, Jake practically wrapped around you like a boa constrictor, you had come to a new conclusion.Â
You didnât hate him anymore.Â
You hadnât hated him for a long time.Â
All opinions you had of him, especially after a night of mindblowing sex, had been shot out of the water.Â
Jake âHangmanâ Seresin was no longer the man you thought he was. The man you had come to know and lo-Â
The man you had come to know was a man that showed up. And stayed. He was someone that took care of the people he cared about. He was someone that would fix things in your home without you asking. He was someone that cooked meals, even if it was almost one oâclock in the morning and you were craving a grilled cheese. He was someone that, even after sex, took care of you in a way nobody had ever even thought about doing before. He was someone that you could trust and respect, and did so.Â
Jake âHangmanâ Seresin was a man that had proved your theories wrong and he was a man that you realised you were falling for.Â
And in some ways, that scared you. And in some ways, it didnât.Â
Because, for as much as he could be so sure of himself. So bold. So confident, it bordered on cocky. You were also sure of him. Sure that, if he was feeling the same things you felt, that he wouldnât let you hurt yourself when you fell, but rather heâd catch you.Â
And it, surprisingly, didnât take him very long.Â
By the time you woke up in the morning and headed downstairs, freshly dressed in a worn Top Gun hoodie and a pair of sleep shorts, you started making breakfast. However, as you stood at the stove, flipping the bacon, you felt a newly familiar pair of arms wrap around your waist from behind.Â
Dropping his chin to your shoulder, Jake pulled you close to his chest.Â
âGood morning.â
âMorningâ.â He drawled. âWhatchaâ cookinâ?â
âBacon and eggs. Thereâs also toast in the toaster.â
With a smile, Jake pressed a kiss to your exposed collar which caused you to let out a small giggle before quickly turning the stove off.Â
âYouâve gotta be careful, Hangman. Youâll make me burn breakfast.â
He hummed a response. âI had a couple other meals in mind.â
âOh really? Like what?â
With his hands on your hips and his lips on your neck where you suspected heâd just left another hickey, he slowly turned you around. âI can think of one.â
Finally facing him, he kissed you as you fumbled with the last temperature gauge and turned it off. Picking you up, he carried you away from the counter near the stove to the one complete opposite.Â
âYouâre driving me insane dressed like this.â He mumbled against your kiss. âWearing my shirt.â
âYour shirt?â You asked as his lips moved to your neck.Â
Looking at you for a moment, half drunk on your kiss, he nodded. âDidnât you know, Sweetheart? This here is mine.â Pinching some of the fabric between his fingers he shook it as he told you so.Â
You laughed. âNo itâs not.â
He nodded. âGod's honest truth. Your brother stayed at mine one night after heâd gone out drinking. Lost his shirt, donât ask me how. Stole one of my hoodies. Never got it back.â
âHow do you know this is yours?â
With a smile, Jake showed you the small hole that youâd made a little bigger over the years from when youâd get nervous. âThis right here. Loose thread got caught in a cabinet I was fixing in my room. Pulled at it too hard. AndâŠâ
Jake watched as your expression changed a little, hungry for more of his touches, as he pushed his hand slowly up the inside of your- his hoodie.Â
A slight smirk, he pulled at the side tag and showed you. And it baffled you how youâd never noticed before.Â
J.H.S
âSee. But, I have to say, Sweetheart. It looks better on you than it ever did me.â
And as he was looking at you, he asked you something else. âLet me take you out on a date. A real one. You know, seeing you like thisâŠI never want to see anyone else like this but you.â
âJakeâŠâ
âIâm being serious. Sweetheart, I want you. And not just temporarily.â Then he looked away as he said the next part. âIâd get itâŠif you didnât want that. God knows you and I donât have the best history when it comes to even getting along but-â
âI want to date you.â
He looked up at you.Â
âI want to date you,â you repeated. âBelieve me, half of the time I donât get it myself. How weâve gone from one extreme to the other, but I knowâŠI know I want you around.â
âI want you around, too.â
âSo, yes.â
Jake smiled. âYes?â
You smiled back. âYes. Take me out on a date, Jake Seresin.â
Leaning forwards, he kissed you. And before long, your hands started to feel for the hem of his shirt before pulling it over his head.Â
It was safe to say, when you and Jake walked into The Hard Deck in the evening after your official first date, hand in hand before he pressed a kiss to your lips, a lot of people were shocked.Â
And lost a lot of money.Â
But Penny won it all.Â
She knew the minute Jake saw you, and your brother scolded him, that something would happen. After all, Hangman was known for going after what he wanted. She just never expected to have to be the one to force you to be in the same room and for that room to be a hospital.

The JjK men reacting to finding out youâre infertile. This was honestly a self-indulgent fic idea but then it won on the poll I put out and honestly I was kinda surprised people were interested! Yall picked the only fic I didnât have finished but I do now so here it is! If youâd like a part 2 let me know! +what characters!
Toji
You didnât tell him until years into the relationship. Sure maybe that wasnât the healthiest thing but oh well things happened and you couldnât change the past. And it took so long for Toji to trust you⊠that you just didnât want to add another thing on top of it to deal with. I mean it took him almost a year for him to introduce you to his kids. It took him that long just to feel serious about your relationship.
And itâs not like he asked either, or used a condom. Cmon, we all know his history with women and he just kinda presumed you were on the pill, or that heâd deal with the consequences after the fact. He had two kids, this wasnât his first time around the block. And even after he got serious with you he never brought up wanting to have another. His hands were full, and besides he wasnât very well off. I mean you guys made it work, but that was just with the 4 of you, who knows what adding another would do.
So the conversation didnât happen until probably 5⊠maybe 6 years in. Where you both had pretty much decided that you were stuck with each other. That if you lost each other at this point in life there would be no reason to restart the process of finding someone new all over again. He trusted you, and god that meant a lot coming from a man like Toji, his goal was to protect his kids and now you along with them.
Laying on the couch one night, one kid off at a sleepover the other supposed to be returning home soon. You guys trusted them⊠maybe a lil too much. Head resting on his chest, listening to the way his heart pounded, like it wanted to leap out of his chest and make it known just how much he loved you, how much joy he found being with you. Something he thought heâd never find again after the loss of his first wife, and the second one leaving him.
Some thriller played in the background, some movie franchise Toji was secretly a big fan of. Half empty beers sitting on the coffee table, one of his hands softly scratching your back, softer than the man had ever been before. You, aimlessly fiddling with his other hand that adorned his shiny wedding ring, one that matched yours, deciding on simple ones that didnât cost much, but meant a lot.
âHey Toji?â You muttered out, voice weaker than you intended, his hand on your back instinctively tightened, a simple grunt in response. Your tone of voice worried him, that tone always did, meant youâd ruin the peace with something serious, as heâd always say. But really he was just always worried itâd be something so serious that heâd end up losing you.
When you didnât continue, he grumbled, ready for you just to spit it out. This type of atmosphere either had 1 of 2 endings to whatever conversation was going to happen, either you were super upset over something really really detrimental or it was something silly you were getting all caught up on. âWhat is it woman? Youâre ruining the movie,â his words were harsh, but you were long past the phase of wondering if he was mad at you over simply the way he normally spoke.
âWellâŠ.Did you ever⊠I donât know⊠question why I was so excited that you had kids?â You hummed out softly, your hand that was fiddling with the ring on his finger slowly moving to hold his hand instead. Toji had once in the past let it slip that when he had tried dating before you he often got hurt cause they didnât want to deal with his already pre-started family. He sighed knowing you were overthinking something, âMmm, not really, was just grateful,â that was one of the first time you had actually heard him be so openly heartfelt.
âOhâŠ. Well itâs cause I canât have my own,â you hummed softly. His expression didnât change, nothing more than an eyebrow quirking up, âIs that so doll?â He mumbled, already deciding this convo was one of the silly ones, aka option 2. You took his response as him just simply brushing you off, watching his eyes reconnect with the tv screen and his hand that was intertwined with yours, now reaching for his beer bottle, âThose kids, Megumi and Tsumiki, are just as much yours now as they are mine.â Everything he had needed to say was in that one little sentence alone.
Your eyes widened, âOh Toji,â you muttered softly, holding back tears, âOh Jesus donât cry,â he huffed, resuming his hand on your back, rubbing soft soothing circles. Reaching his head down to press a kiss to the top of your head but in his head he was just glad this was one of your silly overthought moments.
Nanami
You told him on your 3rd date. Nanami was a classy man, made you feel really stupid for some of the guys you had dated in the past, so you wanted to treat him right just as he treated you.
On your first date he was stiff, and awkward even, but it was endearing in a way. You both had worked together so there was no reason for him be worried but it was nice to know that someone like Nanami could be nervous. That date was a dinner date.
Your second was a bit more relaxed, a bowling alley, an idea recommended by Gojo an annoying coworker you both shared (and bonded over complaining about). It was nice cause Nanami could get a few drinks in, relax a bit, unbutton the top button of his shirt. Strike some strikes and whatever else you did in bowling. It was nice.
Your third date was a walk through the park, a bit more impromptu but you had decided this one, invited him on it too. It was after an early mission, so you two were done around the afternoon. The sun was warm, flowers blooming, walking side by side down some path. And of course the relationship wasnât official but Nanami knew from the first time he had saw you he wanted you.
His hand was placed respectfully on your lower back, of course after making sure you were ok with it, and trees lined the pathway you were walking on. He had haphazardly stuck a flower in your hair, one he had picked along your walk.
He was warm, comforting, made you feel like you could be you, so you wanted to be honest. âKento⊠are you sure Iâm the one you want?â You asked gently, eyes nervously looking up at him as you bit your lip, awaiting his response.
âOf course,â he scoffed, he may be a gentleman but he sure was sassy. âWhy wouldnât I?â He hummed tilting his head down to look at you. âWell⊠I just think some of are goals donât align,â you sighed and an eyebrow raise from him was all you needed to know that he was listening.
âWell IâŠ. Look⊠I canât⊠I canât give you a family,â you muttered looking away, your body becoming rigid against his, âAnd what do you mean by that?â His voice stern, impending, but not harsh just⊠curious. âWell⊠I canât exactly procreate and it be successfulâŠyou get it?â You mumbled under your breath as you picked at the sides of your nails.
Oh, thatâs what you meant. He nodded more as a confirmation for his inner thoughts than anything you said, he brought one of his free hands to swat at yours that were picking, âThatâs fine,â he shrugged looking back ahead at the path.
âWhat?â You half yelled definitely hearing some bird flying away from you at the disturbance, âBut you.. didnât you wanna settle down? Have a family? Iâve heard you talk about it,â you grumbled.
He rolled his eyes, âSure I did, but none of that would mean anything without you,â he hummed, stopping to face you. Tilting your head up by your chin, tired eyes meeting yours, âI want you and you alone. If I canât have children so be it. Youâre enough for me.â
And needless to say it was definitely official after that.
Sukuna
The king of curses was already a very scary man, and honestly talking to him could be quite⊠difficult to say the least. So you swore off to never tell him. And he didnât even want the little rascals anyway.
Children were too⊠annoying for someone who was already so irritating himself, and a little one just like him? Hell would freeze over if that happened.
But he couldnât deny that you made him ponder. What would it be like? Having one.. or possibly two that were a mix of you both. Or better yet heâd like it more if they were exactly like you. The world would be a better place with only one version of Sukuna Ryomen in it.
Yet he didnât think of it often. But you knew you had to come clean soon, you could feel the way he glared at your stomach as if trying to stare straight into your uterus. When really he was just trying to figure it if you could even carry a baby from a cursed spirit like him⊠or if he could get a mere mortal pregnant.
He started trying to, oh so so hard to get you pregnant, every single time burying himself all the way before shooting his load. Yet you never showed any signs. Maybe he was simply incapable. That made him frown.
And that was when you hit a dry spell. He had become so worried that he was shooting blanks or that it was simply impossible to have kids because he was a curse. He was a lot more grouchy, and a lot less touchy. Sukuna already found cuddling and the sorts useless but now? Oh heâd barely look at you now.
He was always easily agitated so you often had found it easier to avoid conflict but he was making it seem like you didnât even exist. One night you burst into his chambers, a little more attitude in the way you shoved the doors open than you usual.
âTell me,â you called out standing firmly at the edge of his bed, fuming as your first clenched. His raspy, booming laugh resounding amongst the room. âTell you what exactly? I owe you nothing,â he hummed remaining in his relaxed position on his lavishly large bed.
âYouâve barely spoken to me or even looked at me in a week? You used to be insatiable what is the problem!â You scrambled out. He clicked his tongue as he rolled his eyes, âTsk, itâs none of your business how I spend my time. If it bothers you then shoo.â
You groaned, you knew him better than that, he wasnât being truthful. âSukuna tell me or I will leave this time, I am done playing this game with you.â Narrowing his eyes he took a good long pause before speaking, pointing down to your abdomen, âYou show no signs of pregnancy despite multiple times in the bedroom. Iâm confused arenât most women your age fertile?â He jested, quirking a brow.
âOh,â you muttered straightening up as you sighed. He sensed the noticeable change, âYour soulâs wavering, you know I can feel it, spit it out,â he said, glaring at you, but his look was one more of concern, you could always tell the difference. âWell I uhâŠâ
You walked around to sit on your side of the bed, really heâd never call it that to your face, before you heâd always just sprawled out. Now he made sure to leave that space empty. âLook IâŠ. I canât have em,â his brow raised, âHave what? Youâre being cryptic mortal.â
You groaned, âKids! I canât have kids,â that was laughable. Wait you werenât joking? Sukuna quickly realized that, âWhat are you deformed?â He teased but it didnât help the way your eyes got all dewy. He grumbled, he may be practically a demonâŠ.. but he did care enough for you to be in his bed next to him.
âSo you cannot produce my heir,â and all you could respond with was a shake of your head, confirming. To Sukuna this made him feel a million times better. He wasnât shooting blanks you simply just werenât able to be impregnated. He was joyous if not for the tone of the situation.
âDoes not matter,â you shot your head over, a confused look on your face. âYou wouldnât have been able to carry my baby anyways, Iâm far too powerful for a mortal to carry my heir,â he teased, and while he had his signature smirk you could see the slight tenderness through it.
This may have been one of the only times he seemed to have understood your turmoil. And also the only time for him to have been the first one to initiate physical contact, pulling you into his chest. One hand running protectively over your back, another in your hair, the other two wrapping around you. âDo not fret, calm your soul dear,â his deep voice muttered out soothingly. And that was probably the best you had ever slept.

worse than silence
summary: Rafe and you maintain a secret relationship, but one day JJ discovers the truth and things get complicated
warnings: angst maybe
word counter: 3537
author's note: english is not my first language
tag: @tracymbcm
It was on nights like these that everything seemed easier and at the same time unbearably difficult. You were sitting on a cliff, hugging your legs as you looked out at the horizon. You had arrived early, as always. Rafe had told you he would come, but you knew that lately his promises were as fragile as glass.
The sound of staggering footsteps behind you brought you out of your thoughts. You turned your head and there he was, with his shirt wrinkled, his eyes sunken and an air of exhaustion that broke your soul.
âYou arrived,â you said softly, although the lump in your throat threatened to betray you.
Rafe dropped down next to you, not looking at you. He ran his hands through his hair and exhaled loudly. He smelled of alcohol, of a lost night, of smoke and chaos. Your heart contracted. You had lost count of how many times you had witnessed that version of him: broken, self-destructive, and yet still trying to maintain an emotional distance that hurt you more than any words.
âI donât know why you keep doing this,â he murmured at last, his voice cracking. âYou shouldnât be here.â
You stared at him intently, searching his eyes for something, anything to tell you there was still hope. But all you found was a haunting emptiness.
âIâm here because I love you, Rafe. Because I canât watch you destroy yourself like this.â
He laughed bitterly, but the laughter faded quickly, leaving him only the weight of guilt.
âYou donât know what youâre saying. I donât want to drag you down with me.â
âI donât care, Rafe. I want to help you, but you have to let me in. You have to stop pushing me away.â
For a moment, his eyes seemed to soften. But like a blink, the hardness returned.
âYou donât understand, youâll never understand. This⊠this isnât fixed with love or pretty words. Itâs bigger than that, bigger than us.â
You felt torn apart. He wanted you to leave him, but every fiber of your being refused. He wanted to protect you, but he didnât realize that the distance hurt more than any hell he could drag you into.
The silence stretched on until he stood up abruptly, his hands shaking.
âThis is a mistake,â he muttered, almost to himself, as he began to walk away.
âIs that all?â you yelled at him, standing up with your heart racing. âAre you going to keep running away? From me? From yourself?â
Rafe stopped, but didnât turn around. He just shook his head before disappearing into the darkness. The cold of the night embraced you as tears fell freely down your face.
The next day, the tension in the air was palpable. JJ was in a bad mood, as he usually was lately. You had tried to avoid him since you got home that morning, but you knew you couldn't hide forever.
You were in the kitchen when you heard him walk in, slamming his backpack down on the table with force.
âWhere were you last night?â he asked immediately, not even bothering to soften his tone.
âNone of your business, JJ,â you replied, trying to remain calm as you washed the dishes. But you knew your brother wasnât one to let things go.
âOh no? Because I happened to see something very interesting last night,â he said, moving dangerously closer. âI saw you with him.â
The plate you were holding nearly dropped. You froze, unable to come up with an answer.
âHow long? How long have you been seeing that piece of trash?â he snapped, his voice filled with disbelief and fury.
âJJ, itâs not what you thinkâŠâ you tried to explain, but he cut you off immediately.
âItâs not what I think?!â he yelled, slamming the table. âRafe Cameron.â How could you? After everything heâs done to us, after everything heâs done to this family!
âItâs not that simple!â you shouted back, feeling rage mix with despair. âYou donât understand what heâs going through. I⊠I love him, JJ.â
That confession seemed to hit him harder than anything else. He stood still, as if the words had paralyzed him.
âYou love him?â you whispered, incredulous. âDo you really think someone like him can change? That he wonât break you like heâs done to everyone else?â
âHeâs tryingâŠâ but your voice cracked. Not even you were sure of that at the moment.
JJ shook his head, his eyes filled with disappointment.
âI thought we could trust each other. But this⊠this is a betrayal. I canât believe you lied to me all this time.â
You felt like the ground beneath your feet had fallen apart. You wanted to reach out to him, to explain, to beg him to understand. But JJ took a step back, his gaze colder than ever.Â
âI hope itâs worth it,â he said before walking out of the house, leaving you alone in devastating silence.Â
Guilt and anguish clung to you like an unbearable weight. For the first time, you wondered if you could really go through with all of this. Rafe was falling apart, and now, you were losing your brother, too.Â
The next few days were a silent hell. You tried to talk to JJ more times than you could count, but every time you reached out, he ignored you completely. It was like you had ceased to exist for him. The first time you tried to stop him, you were faced with a wall of ice.
âJJ, please, just listen to me,â you said, blocking his way at the door.
He didnât even look at you. With a sharp movement, he pushed you aside and walked out without saying a word. That gesture, cold and distant, hurt more than you had imagined.
And it wasnât just JJ. The worst came when the rest of the group found out.
One afternoon, you were at the beach bar where everyone used to meet. You had arrived hoping that, at least there, you could find a way to repair what had been broken. However, when you entered, you felt the air become heavy. Kiara, Pope, and John B were sitting around a table, talking in low voices. Upon seeing you, the conversations immediately ceased, and their gazes were fixed on you with a mixture of disbelief and disappointment.
âReally?â Kiara was the first to speak, her tone full of reproach. âRafe? How could you?â
You felt trapped, like you were being judged with no chance to defend yourself.
âKie, you donât understandâŠâ you tried to explain, but Pope interrupted you.
âWhatâs there to understand?â he said bitterly. âThat guy has done everything to ruin us. Heâs beaten us, tried to bring us down more times than I can count. And youâŠ? Are you with him?â
John B didnât say anything at first, but the tension in his jaw was evident. Finally, he spoke, his voice calmer but no less laden with disappointment.
âWe knew you were hiding something. But thisâŠâ he shook his head. âI never thought youâd betray us like this.â
The word âbetrayalâ hit like a punch. You felt tears forming in your eyes, but you refused to let them fall in front of them.
âItâs not what they think,â you said, even though you knew your words rang hollow. âRafe⊠heâs not perfect, I know.â But heâs going through something, and I⊠I just want to help him.
Kiara laughed humorlessly, crossing her arms.
âHelp him? Do you really think you can save someone like him? Rafe doesnât need your help. What he needs is to stop butting into our lives.â
âThis is between Rafe and me,â you replied, trying to remain calm. âIt has nothing to do with you.â
âNothing to do with us?â Pope raised his voice, clearly frustrated. âIt has everything to do with us. Heâs hurt us time and time again, and you⊠you chose to be on his side.â
The silence that followed was overwhelming. You felt like everything youâd built with them was crumbling at that moment. You tried to look at JJ, searching for a trace of understanding, but he was standing in the corner, arms crossed and staring at the floor, not even deigning to look at you.
âJJâŠâ you said softly, almost pleading.
But he turned and walked out of the place without saying a word. It was like every step he took took a piece of your heart with him.
That night, the loneliness was unbearable. You locked yourself in your room, feeling small, broken. Guilt and anguish consumed you, and the silence grew heavier with each passing minute. You had lost your brother, your friends. And even though you loved Rafe, you couldnât ignore that being with him was costing you everything.
Hours later, you received a text. It was from Rafe.
âIâm sorry. I know this is my fault.â
You stared at the text for several minutes, not knowing what to answer. Was it his fault? Or was it yours for letting yourself get dragged here? You had no answers, only a void that seemed to grow with each second.
Finally, you turned off your phone and sank into bed. The tears you had held back all day began to fall silently. You didn't know how much more you could take.
Your friends had been your refuge, your family, but now, with them away, you felt like a foreigner in your own world. Every time you locked eyes with JJ or the others, you felt the weight of their judgment. You tried to ignore it, to focus on the only thing that kept you afloat: Rafe. However, even he seemed more distant, as if the current of his own demons was dragging him further away from you.
It had been days since you last saw him, and desperation was beginning to settle in your chest. Finally, when you couldn't take it anymore, you made the decision to look for him at his house. You knew it was a risk, that if they saw you there it would only make things worse with your friends, but you didn't care. You needed to see him. You needed to know that you weren't completely alone.
When you arrived, the Cameron mansion was completely silent. You knocked loudly on the door, hoping someone would answer, but there was no answer. So, you made your way to the side of the house, where you knew you could climb up to his window. It was something you had done before, on those nights where the world seemed to belong only to the two of you.
You peeked over the edge and saw him. Rafe was sitting on the floor of his room, his back against the bed, a half-empty bottle in one hand and his gaze lost on the wall. His messy hair fell over his forehead, and his expression was that of someone who had been fighting his own thoughts and losing the battle.
âRafeâŠâ you whispered, stepping in carefully.
He looked up slowly, his eyes red and filled with a pain you recognized all too well. For a moment, he seemed relieved to see you, but that glint quickly faded.
âWhat are you doing here?â he asked, his voice hoarse and heavy with exhaustion.
âI couldnât be alone,â you admitted, moving closer to him. You sat down next to him, trying to ignore the smell of alcohol and the feeling that something was falling apart between you.
Rafe let out a bitter laugh.
âAlone? I thought I was the reason you were left without anyone.â
His words were a dart straight to your heart, but you didnât back down.
âI donât care. I donât care if Iâm alone as long as I have you.â
He shook his head, as if he couldnât understand what you were saying.
âYou shouldnât be here. You shouldnât want this, want me. Iâm a mess. Iâm screwed. Donât you see that?â
âI see it, Rafe. But I also know that you can get out of this. You donât have to do it alone.â
âWhat if I donât want to get out?â His voice cracked, his eyes searching yours desperately. âWhat if this is the only thing I know how to do?â
Your heart broke a little more.
âThen Iâll stay with you until you want me. But donât push me away, please.â
Rafe let his head fall back against the bed, squeezing his eyes shut. For a moment, silence was the only thing between you, but then he spoke, his voice barely a whisper.
âSometimes I think it would be better if I let myself sink completely. If I just⊠disappeared.â
The rawness of his words took your breath away. You gripped his hand tightly, forcing him to look at you.
âDonât say that. You canât say that.â
âWhy not?â he replied, his eyes filling with tears. âLook what Iâm doing to you. Youâre losing everything because of me.â
You shook your head, clinging to him as if by doing so you could keep him from falling apart completely.
âRafe, I chose this. I chose you. I know itâs hard, but you have to believe me when I say that I donât care what anyone else thinks. All I want is for us to be together.â
âAnd thatâs the problem,â he whispered, looking away. âBeing with me is only going to destroy you.â
You tried to respond, but he let go of your hand and staggered to his feet. He walked over to the window, looking outside as if searching for a way out that didnât exist.
âMaybe itâs best that this ends here,â he finally said, his voice laced with heartbreaking sadness.
You stood up quickly, your chest tight with fear.
âWhat? You meanâŠ?â
Rafe turned to you, his eyes filled with pain.
âI canât keep doing this. I love you, but I canât drag you down with me anymore.â
âRafe, noâŠâ your voice cracked as you moved closer to him, your hands shaking. âYou canât do this. You canât push me away.â
He closed his eyes, fighting the emotions that consumed him.
âIâm doing this because I love you,â he finally said, and those words were like a dagger.
Tears began to fall freely down your face. You tried to cling to him once more, but this time, Rafe backed away.
âPlease go away,â he whispered, not looking at you.
The weight of his words fell on you like a stone. You couldn't believe what was happening, you didn't want to accept it. But the determination in his voice left you with no options.
Heartbroken, you took a step back. Every fiber of your being wanted to stay, to fight, but you knew he was in too dark a place for you to reach him at that moment.
Finally, you turned and walked out the same window you had entered through, feeling like you were leaving a part of yourself behind. When you hit the ground, a cold breeze greeted you, as if the world knew you had lost something irreplaceable.
As you walked back home, the pain and despair fully set in. You had lost so much, and now, even Rafe seemed out of your reach.
The days that followed were an endless emptiness. Loneliness was a weight you felt even in the air, in every corner of the house, in every silence that stretched like a lingering shadow. You woke up every morning with a knot in your chest, the kind of weight that reminded you, even before you opened your eyes, that you were alone.
Your brother, he made no effort to hide his contempt. Every time you crossed paths with him, his cold gaze was a reminder that, to him, you had betrayed everything that it meant to be family. You tried several times to get closer, to talk to him, but your attempts always met with a wall of silence or curt responses.
âJJ, please, we canât go on like this,â you begged one night, finding him in the kitchen as he poured a glass of water.
He didnât even deign to look at you.
âI have nothing to say to you.â
âNothing? After all?â Your voice trembled, the weight of his indifference tearing at you.
Finally, JJ turned to you, his gaze filled with a mix of anger and pain.
âAfter all, you chose Rafe. That says it all.â
The glass in his hand shook slightly before he set it down on the counter with a thud. He walked away without waiting for an answer, leaving you alone in the darkness.
Your friends were no more understanding, either. Every time you saw them around the island, their gazes avoided yours, as if you were someone they no longer recognized. You had lost their trust, and it seemed like there was no way to get it back.
You tried to approach Kiara one afternoon. She was on the beach with John B and Pope, laughing at something one of them had said. Seeing you, the smiles faded, and the atmosphere instantly tensed.
âKie, can we talk?â you asked cautiously, keeping your distance.
She crossed her arms and looked at you coldly.
âI have nothing to say to you.â
âPlease, just a minuteâŠâ
Kiara sighed, her expression hardening.
âFor what? For you to tell me that all of this is worth it because you âlove Rafeâ? I donât want to hear it.â
âItâs not like thatâŠâ you tried to explain, but she cut you off.
âYes, it is. You chose him, knowing everything heâs done to us. How do you expect us to trust you after that?â
The words hit hard, and although you wanted to defend yourself, you knew it was pointless. You had let them down, and there was no apology that could fix it at that moment.
You turned and walked away, feeling the tears burn in your eyes as their voices faded behind you. Every step you took through the sand seemed to sink you deeper into a pit of despair.
Rafe didn't make things any easier either. Even though you knew he loved you, his actions didn't match his feelings. After that night at his house, he had been the one who started to put more distance between you. His messages became scarce, and the times you did manage to see him, he seemed like a man torn between his desire to have you close and his conviction that it was better for you to walk away.
One afternoon, you found him on the beach, sitting alone on a rock, staring at the horizon. You slowly approached, afraid he would reject you again. Sensing your presence, Rafe turned his head. For a moment, his eyes softened at the sight of you, but he soon hardened his expression again.
âI told you that you shouldnât be here,â he said quietly, though there was no real conviction in his words.
You sat down beside him without asking permission, your heart pounding.
âI canât keep ignoring you, Rafe. I canât keep pretending that I donât care about you.â
He sighed, running a hand through his messy hair.
âItâs not fair to you. All of this⊠itâs not what you deserve.â
âLet me decide that,â you replied firmly, trying to meet his gaze. âI donât want to be without you, even if it means carrying all of this weight.â
Rafe finally looked at you, and in his eyes you saw a sea of ââemotions: love, guilt, and a desperation that mirrored your own.
âIâm ruining you,â he whispered, as if he was finally admitting his worst fear.
You shook your head, your shaking hands searching for him.
âNo, Rafe. It ruins me more to be without you.â
He closed his eyes, fighting back tears. For a moment, it looked like he was going to give in, that he was going to let you stay. But then, in a broken voice, he murmured,
âI canât do this to you.â
He abruptly stood up and began to walk away, leaving you alone once again. You stood there, watching his figure disappear into the distance, the sound of the sea mixing with the sobs you could no longer hold back.
The nights grew longer, and the pain became a constant. You lay awake for hours, wondering if things could have been different, if there was any way to get your brother, your friends, and Rafe back. But every time you closed your eyes, the only answer you found was the weight of loneliness that continued to grow inside you.

JUST AN WRITING IDEA.
I just had a weird writing idea. Imagine you are a daughter from a very influential and wealthy business family. Your parents want to set you up for an arrange marriage with a powerful family just like yours. So to escape from this arranged marriage you came up with a plan. You told your parents you like yandere and want to marry him only. And your parents loved this. Because after all yandere has everything power, status, reputation, money, everything. But how come you are ready to marry him? What's the sudden change of heart? After throwing so many tantrums and rejecting numerous grooms.
Well few days ago your best friend told you that yandere likes only men and might be in a secret relationship with his male secretary. And he doesn't tell about his sexuality to anyone because his family who has most of the shares of company is homophobic.
So you made a plan. You told your parents you want to marry yandere only and no one else and yandere doesn't like women so he will obviously reject you and you will cry over the rejection and postpone your arrange marriage for some months in the facade of heartbreak.
Your plan began. To show your family and people that you are badly down for yandere you did many things. You flirted with him like a shameless every chance you got.
Would tell everyone how you are madly in love with him and will marry him one day. While people thinking that you are the most delusional person on this earth.
You would crash into his office uninvited and act like a cute girlfriend which you totally are not.
Would call him the most weird and chessy names like "My marshmallow, my sweet pea, love of my life, my future husband" in front of everyone while yandere ignores you like it's a daily occurrence which actually now has become a daily occurence.
"Won't you give your girlfriend a hug or a kiss?"
"I know your way of telling me that you love me is ignoring me"
One day you brought a huge ass size flower bouquet for him while saying "Since you don't give me flowers one of us have to do this babe"
You quite enjoyed teasing him. And did I mention you also teased his secreaty with yandere's name. By saying "Yandere is quite good looking good choice secretary. Have a nice night" while winking at him.
You are hundred percent sure that yandere thinks you are one of his crazy delulu fangirls just like thousands of many. But is only tolerating you because you are daughter of one of his important person.
Until one day he drags you into a corner at an event. Traping your back infront of a wall with his arms from side towering above you.
"Are you really that desperate to marry me, huh?" He asked.
"Well of course after all you are the love of my life " you Said smiling staying in your crazy fangirl character.
"Then marry me this weekend " he said with the most straight expression.
"Wait. Aren't you gay?" You said being totally surprised.
"I have always liked women y/n. "
Little do you know yandere ignored you in start but as the time passed now you have got him stuck with your thoughts 24/7. And there is no way backing out now. He is going to have you no matter what.
This is just a idea I got into my mind and shared it with you. Hope you liked it. If you want a longer version let me know through comments.

Something about the way the fabric hugged his thighs and flexed with his body as he ran down the field, you couldnât see the little beads of sweat from all the way in the bleachers, but you could see the way it glistened over his skin under the beaming lights. Each time he lifted his shirt to wipe his face, his lower abs would peak out. Heâd reach up, push his hair back as he panted like a god damn dog, and then flash you a smile so alluring you wanted to run onto the field and tackle him right there.
He was clueless though, the only thoughts going through his mind were how he should decide the next play and what he was gonna eat for dinner after this. Meanwhile you sat with your legs crossed, squeezing them together every so often, watching him sprint around like it was some kind of soft porn. Every time heâd look over, youâd hope heâd see your pleading eyes. Either way, you both had to wait until practice was over.
The whistle blew, allotting the team a breather break before the last half of practice. He jogged across the feild over to where you were on the bleachers, you quickly reached inside your bag and pulled out his water, handing it to him as soon as he got over to you. He took it from your hands and brought it to his lips in a feverish motion.
Now it was all far worse. Now you could really see the beads of sweat slowly trickling down his legs and biceps, the way his hair stuck to the back of his neck and the sides of his face, the way the water dribbled down his chin. He chugged the whole bottle and wiped his mouth with the back of his hand before looking down at you. You hadnât noticed him gazing down while your eyes were glued to the subtle sensual intricacies of his body.
âYou alright?â his words snapped you out of your trance. He let out a low groan as he sat down next to you, stretching out his legs and arms before scooting a bit closer.
âY-yeahâŠiâm alright.â you said unconvincingly, trying to ignore the way his body pressed against yours, the heat radiating off of him making you feel weak. His hand slid over from his thigh to yours, squeezing lightly as he tilted his head at you.
âYou seem out of it, whatâs up?â Kiyora was a master bullshit detector, and if you were being completely honest, you didnât even feel like lying to him. His hand rubbed up and down your thigh in a comforting motion as he awaited your response. He looked at you with a twinge of worry behind his eyes, but it was hard to see past all the sweaty hotness he was radiating, completely unaware oblivious to what he was doing to you.
You leaned into his touch and locked your eyes with his. âI wish you were inside me right now.â you said with a sigh, it escaped your mouth in a pitch that made it sound more like a whine. Kiyoraâs eyebrows furrowed at you for a moment before his eyes went wide and he smiled at you a bit.
âWhat?â he chuckled in disbelief, moving his arms to wrap around you and pull you into a side hug. He squeezed your arm and looked at you expectantly.
âYou heard meâŠâ you muttered.
âAnd I wanna hear it againâŠâ he said teasingly, leaning his face closer to yours, a smirk spread across his face. His hand on your thigh began to inch up towards your core, his fingers slipping between your crossed legs.
âCome on Kiyora, donât do this to me.â you said slightly embarrassed, your eyes darting away from him and back to the field. His touch nearly killed you, eventually his hand was far enough up your thigh that his fingers were grazing over your clothed heat. He pressed his fingers into you, causing a gasp to slip out as you looked around to make sure no one could see the compromising position he had you in. He quickly grabbed your chin and turned your head back to face him.
âHey donât be embarrassedâŠyou think you can hold out until we get home?â he said to you in a warm tone before leaning closer to your ear, âI promise iâll take care of you tonight.â he whispered teasingly, planting a soft kiss to your temple before getting up off the bleachers. His hand departing from your thigh left you feeling a bit empty, you squeezed your thighs together again. He stood and smiled down at you, his hand reaching up to ruffle your hair a bit.
âIâll be fine, try not to look so hot for this half ok?â you whined at him jokingly.
âNo promises princess.â he said with a wink as he jogged back into position on the field with the rest of his team.

Iâm Never Going Back to That Farm
Clark was talking to Marvel and he realized the man didnât have anyone to celebrate Christmas with. So, he invited him over. Cause why not? Might as well spread some Christmas spirit. What he didnât expect wasâŠ
Ma Kent: âClark, your home!â *hugs her son*
Supes: âItâs good to see you too Ma
Ma Kent: âOh, and who is your little friend-â *looks over to Marvel before doing a double take* âC.C.?â
Marvel: âHuh?â
Ma Kent: âOh my God, C.C. is that really you?â *turns around to call Pa Kent* âHoney! Come here and look who Clark brought over!â
Supes and Marvel: *share a look*
Pa Kent: âWhatâs wrong Martha?â *comes from the kitchen* âCharley!? Is that really is you?â *rubs his eyes and looks again* âGod, we thought you died in the plane crash! Also, Jesus, youâve grown 2 feet.â
Supes: âYour name is Charley?â *looks over to Marvel*
Ma Kent: âOh no sweetie, itâs Clarence, but this guy thought the name was too boring. So we either called him Charley or C.C.â
Marvel: âHaha⊠Yeah.â *oozing awkwardness*
Supes: *staring with a hint of betrayal*
As for why Clark felt betrayed? Well, his parents knew about Marvelâs entire secret identity before he even did! But, that betrayal was quickly forgotten when his Ma and Pa decided to go down memory lane and pull out a box Clark had never seen before.
Supes: âWhatâs all this?â
Ma Kent: âJust some old keepsakes your father and I look back on every now and then.â
Pa Kent: *pulls out a photo* âOh I remember this one. One of my biggest races.â *shows a photo of Ma and Pa Kent, and C.C. and Marilyn all smiling at the camera while Pa Kent is holding a second place trophy*
Supes: âAre you wearing a leather jacket here? Also whoâs that?â *points to Marilyn*
Marvel: âThatâs my uhâŠâ *looks to the Ma and Pa Kent before looking back to Clark* âMy wife?â
Supes: âWife?!â
Ma Kent: *ignores him* âSpeaking of her, where is Marilyn? Did she not come along? Are you two still married?â
Marvel: *also ignores him* âOh uhm⊠She didnât survive the crash.â *still super awkward*
*silence*
Ma Kent: âOh Charles⊠Iâm so sorry.â
Pa Kent: âAnd the kids?â
Supes: âKids?!â
Marvel: *continues ignoring him* âTheyâre doing good. Mary and Billy are twelve now.â
Ma Kent: âOh thatâs just wonderful. Say, Clark, isnât Jon the same age as Charleyâs kids?â
Supes: âHeâs a year younger.â
Pa Kent: *puts the photo of the four of them back into the box* âYou two should set up a little playdate.â
Marvel: âMaybe.â *awkward smile*
So now Clark is completely floored. This man that heâs known for nearly 5 years has had a wife who died??? Not only that, but he has two whole children??? Also Cap knew his parents when they were younger??? Heâs definitely going to ask more about that playdate though. Jon should have more superpowered friends his age.
Later during dinnerâŠ
Pa Kent: âYou know, Charley it surprises me how much you havenât changed.â
Marvel: âHuhâŠ? Whatdya mean?â *shoveling food in his mouth because it delicious*
Ma Kent: âWell, for starters, you look the exact same.â *little laugh as she puts more food on Marvelâs plate*
Pa Kent: âAnd when youâre not being super awkward, your personality hasnât changed all that much either.â
Marvel: âYouâve noticed me being awkward?â
Supes: âItâd be kind of hard not to notice, Cap.â
Billy found out more about his parents from this one Christmas alone than he had in his entire life up until now. That is why he will not be coming back to this farm ever again. Heâll send Christmas cards, he might even send a gift or two, but never again. He doesnât want these two to realize their friend is actually dead. Theyâre sweet little old people who donât deserve that. But other than all that, Billy is super happy to find out he and his dad are very similar in personality. It makes him feel closer to the man.
Also, I went on Wikipedia to learn more about the Kentâs and apparently Pa Kent was a race car driver so in case anybody was confused about the race thing, thereâs your explanation.
Also, also, as for how the Batsons and the Kents knew each other? Letâs say that Marilyn grew up in Smallville and met Martha. Then Marilyn moved away to Fawcett, but the two still kept in touch. Then both of the women met their respective husbands and they all got together to be a nice little friend group. And then, you know, the Batsons died.
Also, also, also, after this whole thing, Clark started calling Billy Charley or C.C. which made Billy violently flinch when it first happened. After a while though, he grew used to it because heâd rather be called Charley and have someone think heâs C.C. Batson instead of someone thinking heâs Billy.
Also, also, also, also, (Iâm sorry I canât help but add more) when Clark thought no one was looking, he whipped out his phone and took several pictures of the photo of the Kents and Batsons. Or more accurately, he took photos of the part of the picture with C.C. in a leather jacket. Marvel just didnât seem like the type so he wanted recorded evidence so he could be sure he wasnât crazy.
Alright Iâm done now. Super duper early Christian post, yay!

Just saw a TikTok where a woman says that her husband uses the dyson air wrap he brought for his wife more than her, why can I see Ben also acting like that đ€Ł
Lmfao oh, anon. That's really funny to imagine. đ
I feel like Soldier Boy (Ben)'s been surrounded by hair stylists for most of his life, so might not be as well versed in managing his own hair. But he absolutely would be one to shave for himself, since that's more of a right of passage for men, especially one of his time.
However, when his S.O./girlfriend/wife comes into the picture, he'd probably start to get used to at least figuring out how to style his own hair at home... That's where the Dyson hairdryer comes in. đ€Ł
Imagine Soldier Boy (Ben) Using Your Hairdryer:
At first, Ben's intrigued and bewildered looking at this "stupid fucking thing," trying to figure out how it works with all these weird attachments.
Muttering to himself, "Looks like one of her dildos, for Christ's sake."
That thought might make him hesitate on actually trying it out, but when he finally manages to switch it on, it's like a lightbulb goes off above his head. Something inside him has just gotta try this thing.
He doesn't dare experiment while you're at home though. He's going to wait until you're out of the house, for at least a few hours.
He's going to try and fail a few times to actually do what he wants to do with his hair (a simple blow-dry). But eventually, "Ha!" He's done it.
You notice something different about him when you get home. You squint your eyes at him, looking at the gentle, downright shiny swoop of his hair to match his well-trimmed beard.
"Did you..." you trail off.
He raises his brows, feigning ignorance. "What?"
"...Never mind," you say, but you do tell him he looks handsome today.
Of course, his vain ass smirks in a way that says, I look handsome every damn day. (You roll your eyes in amusement.)
You do eventually catch him using your hairdryer. He's humming while he grooms himself in the bathroom, expertly maneuvering the various attachments as he sees fit.
It's the biggest struggle of your life to contain your shock (and laughter). You're torn between leaving him be to practice some healthy self-care...and your instinct to sneak a pic or two. Maybe even a quick video that you might just send to Annie and the rest of the boys later.
That's when Ben catches sight of you in the mirror. His look of concentration melts into a surly, frowning mixture of surprise and embarrassment. He switches off the hairdryer and lays it down on the counter. For a moment, he just stands there, knowing he's caught, bracing himself for your teasing.
Biting your lip, you go over to him and raise up on your toes, leaning one hand on his shoulder so you can sift your fingers through the soft brown strands of his hair.
You smile. "Looks good, babe. Good job."
Slowly, his lips form a familiar cocky smile.
"Damn right, it does."
AN: LOL I didn't intend for this to be a full-on headcanon/imagine, but that's basically what happened. đ

shy!reader meets up with nick for a little ice-cream date.
you stare down at the phone in your hands, the nae of the ice-cream parlour glowing brightly on the screen. after a moment, you look up at the sign in front of you, chewing the inner skin of your cheek as you double check that you're in the right place.
the words match perfectly, and the photo you found online mirrors the shop exactly. yet, as you scan the area and look through the clear windows, your heart sinks â there's no sign of nick anywhere.
panic rises in your chest, and you instinctively take a hesitant step back, ready to bolt until a loud, familiar voice yells from behind you, cutting through your spiralling thoughts.
you turn, your pulse quickening as you catch sigh of nick tumbling out of an uber, his foot catching on the curb. he stumbles dramatically, throwing an exaggerated glare at the ground as if the concrete were to blame for his mistake before adjusting the strap of the tote bag slung over his shoulders, striding towards you with a grin spreading across his face.
"sorry," he apologies to you immediately, and you open your mouth, prepared to reassure him that it's no big deal, even though you're not quite sure what he's apologising for. but he continues, "uber took like eight wrong turns to get to this fucking place, i thought i was getting kidnapped. so, it's his fault i'm late. you haven't been waiting long, right?"
"no," you reply with a shake of your head, managing a small smile as the tension in your chest eases slightly. "i just got here too."
"thank god." nick breathes out a sigh of relief, running his fingers through his mullet and adjusting his sunglasses before leading you toward the entrance, him mostly taking the lead while you follow closely behind.
as you step inside the parlour, the sweet aroma of waffle cones and fresh ice-cream greets you, and the air is filled with the cheerful chatter of other customers and workers. your stomach rumbles in anticipation of the treat ahead as you walk up to the counter beside nick, who is already scanning the colourful flavours displayed in the glass case.
his eyes widen as he points out various options, and you listen intently as he describes each flavour and shares how some are more sweeter than others, how chocolate chips taste better with these flavours, and how this flavour is better plain.
after considering the options, you finally settle on strawberry and vanilla. nick chooses bubblegum, the bright blue swirls matching the stripes on his shirt and the lenses of his sunglasses which makes you smile softly, and you feel even more relaxed when nick takes charge of ordering what you both want, allowing you to stand beside him in silence.
as nick pays for the ice-creams, you immediately reach into your purse to grab the cash you set aside, but he scoffs and sways your hand away as if you've just offended him, insisting that he's fine with buying and your cheeks warm at his generosity.
with the ice-cream cups in hand, you follow him to a cosy corner of the parlour, settling down into the booth opposite each other. you grab your plastic spoon, swirling it through the creamy ice-cream before taking your first bite.
"right?" nick grins as he sees your reaction; your eyebrows raising and eyes widening at how delicious it is. "i told you. this place is fucking magical."
you take another spoonful, trying your best to keep the conversation flowing. "do you come here a lot?"
"sometimes, but there's this one dessert stall in the city that's just as good. makes the best chocolate fudge and cherry sundae," he explains to you, and you perk up a little but, knowing exactly which place he's talking about.
"i like that one too."
he raises his eyebrow, "you know it?"
"yeah," you hum softly with a nod. "chris brought me there."
suddenly, nick's ice-cream filled spoon pauses halfway to his mouth, and he stares at you. you frown at his sudden silence, feeling the weight of his gaze, and you awkwardly take another bite of your ice-cream, your gaze flicking away as you struggle to handle being stared at.
nick lowers his spoon from his mouth, pointing it at you instead. "chris brought you to that dessert stall?" you nod your head slowly in response. "and he bought you one?"
"no," you reply, your voice steady but quiet. "he got one for himself but he let me try it."
"chris shared with you?" nick presses, seemingly baffled by this information. "like, we're talking one spoon shared between you two?"
"yeah," you nod again, chewing on your bottom lip as you gather your thoughts, admitting confusingly at this topic. "i.. don't understand what's happening right now."
nick just hums at that, his expression shifting as he takes a moment to process your words, studying you for a few seconds longer before he resumes in eating his ice-cream. now, you're stuck staring at him, wondering about the implications of his constant questioning while you mindlessly swirl your spoon around the cup.
"speaking of the city," nick begins, suddenly changing the subject, catching you off guard. "kitty and i are heading there this weekend, you should comeâactually, neither of us are taking no for an answer. you are coming."
you chuckle lightly, your cheeks feeling warm as you ask, "why are you going?"
"i need to take photos for this project i'm doing for my class, and she needs to thrift some clothes and pick up other supplies for hers," he explains to you simply. "we're gonna make a day out if it, y'know? shopping, dinner, all that shit."
"i don't know.." you murmur, hesitation creeping into your voice.
"i'm not taking no for an answer," nick deadpans, blinking at you with feigned seriousness that makes you want to laugh. "our company is literally better than that frat house chris has got you cooped up in every weekend. you need a break."
you can't lie, a break does sound really nice. the overwhelming energy of the frat parties, filled with the frat brothers and other students, often leaves you feeling absolutely drained. and more often than not, you always find yourself retreating to chris' bedroom to get away from the chaotic mess when it gets too much.
"i'll think about it.."
"less thinking, more doing," nick counters, a grin spreading across his face as he leaves his spoon hanging from his mouth, his hands diving into his tote bag and you watch with curiosity as he pulls out his digital camera. "smile, bun. i'm taking proof of you finally leaving the frat house today. this is monumental as fuck."

Abuse ~ Part 2
MAIN MASTERLISTÂ /Â MARVEL MASTERLIST
Logan Howlett x Female!Reader
< Part 1
Word Count:Â 4,080ish
Summary:Â You start to heal from Josh's abuse. Logan is there every step of the way.
Warnings:Â abuse (mental, physical, emotional), rape, injuries, triggers, PTSD
Notes:Â Seriously, do not read if this will trigger you. You are in charge of what you consume.
As soon as you could, you retreated to your room at the mansion. Clearly, someone had slipped into your apartment and grabbed some objects and clothing. You had stayed in the room occasionally, but it was weird to think that it was now your home. Nothing was how you liked it, making you feel more out of place than you already did.
Thoughts began to creep into your mind. What if you just went back to the apartment? There was a sense of normalcy there despite the abuse. Besides, you were becoming a burden. You could easily see that. Everyone was eyeing you and walking eggshells around you. You hated it. Maybe if you justâ
âHey,â Loganâs voice was quiet as he leaned against the doorframe. Nevertheless, you still jumped and spun around, heart racing. âSorry,â he pushed himself off the frame and stuffed his hands into his jeans pockets. âDidnât mean to scare ya. Just checkinâ in.â
âIâm fine.â You cringed at how quickly and unbelievable that answer was.
Logan nodded, letting out a small grunt in acknowledgment of your answer. He stepped further into the room. You shakily took a step back, starting to feel cornered. Logan quickly took two steps back.
âCan I do anything?â He asked. You knew that he genuinely meant it; Logan would never ask if he didnât.
âI think youâve done enough.âÂ
It sounded meaner than it should have. You were grateful for Loganâs help, but you were hating yourself for being so weak that you had to call for it. Logan knew not to take your words personally. Jean and Charles had a long talk with him about how you might act throughout your healing process, including blaming yourself and others.
âCan you go?â You turned away, trying to hide the tears quickly escaping your eyes. âI⊠I want to be alone right nowâŠâ
âOkay⊠Let me know if you need somethinâ.âÂ
Logan turned around, glancing back for another quick look at you before shutting the door behind him. He hated the idea of leaving you alone. He didnât understand everything about what you were going through, but he understood how mean your own mind could be about yourself. He was constantly trying to prove his own destructive thoughts wrong. But Logan wouldn't let you go through that alone, not if he could do anything about it.
~~~
No one was shocked when you didnât come down for dinner. Logan loaded up a plate of food and grabbed a drink before heading up to your room. Knocking on the door, he waited a moment for you to answer. When you didnât answer, Logan used his senses to try to see if you were still in there. He could hear you breathing. It was steady, like you were asleep. He knew that you needed your rest, but you also needed to eat. No one knew when the last time you ate was.Â
Slowly, Logan opened the door and slipped inside. He set the food and drink on your desk before coming around to the side of the bed you were facing. Logan knelt down as he studied you for a moment. He didnât know that you could ever look so relaxed and peaceful. Since he met you, you have been in a relationship with Josh. He wondered who you were before that and if you would become that person again.Â
âY/N,â he whispered. âWake up, sweetheart. You need to eat.â
âHmm,â you groaned, slowly waking.
âThere you go, darlinâ. I brought the food to you.â
âNot hungry,â you grumbled, turning your head away from Logan. Your stomach growling gave you away.
Logan chuckled. âI donât think thatâs true.â
âJust go, Logan.â
âNot until you eat. Come on, sit up.â
âFine.âÂ
You sat up as Logan grabbed the food. When Logan handed you the plate, you couldnât help but stare at it and think of Josh. He would have commented on the portion sizes and that you needed to be careful not to gain much weight as it would embarrass him. Logan could see your mind freeze and figured it had to do with Josh.
âEat,â he urged.
âI⊠I canât,â you shook your head.
âYou havenât eaten all day.â You simply shrugged in response, looking down at your lap. âY/N,â Logan tried to catch your gaze. âHe is not in control of you anymore. Eat.â
âButââ
âEat.â
With a scowl, you began to eat. Simply within the first bite, something inside you began to feel better. Logan watched you, making sure you at least got a few bites in your system.
âIâm sorry,â you mumbled between bites. âIâm sorry that Iâm being a burden. Iââ
âStop that,â Logan quickly interrupted. âYouâre not a burden.â
âYes, I am.â
âSaid who? John?â You looked away. âThat dipshit didnât know what he was talking about.âÂ
Logan wanted to tug your head back to look at him but he knew he needed to be careful when it came to touching you. There were things that needed to happen on your terms, despite anyone else.
âSweetheart,â he sighed, trying to get your attention, but it didnât work.
âIâm done eating,â you told him quietly, still looking away. âThanks for the food. You can go now.â
âY/Nââ
âJust go. Please.â
Logan picked up the plate as he stood up. âGet some rest. Iâll be checkinâ in later.â
âYou donâtââ
âNot worth fightinâ. Itâs gonna happen. Let me know if you need anything before then.â
You were left alone, wishing that you could fully give in to Loganâs kindness. But a voice in the back of your head sounded too much like Josh, preventing you from allowing Logan to take care of you.
~~~
Logan wasnât joking around when he told you he would check in on you. Like clockwork, he was checking on you every hour, even throughout the night. He wasnât much of a sleeper anyway.Â
You practically lived in your room for the next two days. Ororo and Jean visited a couple of times, but mostly, Logan kept checking on you. He would bring you water, snacks, and food. Most of the time, Logan was silent in his doings, letting your mind have its way. But when you refused to eat meals, Logan wasnât allowing it. It was practically the same fight as the first night, every night. Even up until you would ask him to leave.
It was the early morning hours when you decided you wanted ice cream and finally left the confines of your bedroom. You silently hoped no one would catch you as you snuck into the kitchen. You were grateful when you got there without running into anyone. Opening the freezer, you were surprised to see multiple tubs of your favorite type of ice cream. On the closet tub, there was a sticky note. You grabbed the tub to get a closer look. You could easily recognize the handwriting as Loganâs. It wasnât the neatest, but you could easily read the small note: One scoop at a time.
You let out a small huff and a smile. There was no way that Logan came up with that on his own. Rogue had to have helped him with it. But it warmed your heart anyway to see his note. Logan wasnât one to let people see the softer side of him, you were clearly the exception right now. You took the tub, grabbed a spoon, and headed back up to your room. What you didnât notice is that you were being watched. Logan was standing near another doorway to the kitchen, watching you carefully. He couldnât help but smirk at your reaction to the note and was glad to see you venture out of the room. If that one note got that reaction from you, Logan was definitely going to leave more around.
In the morning, you decided you needed to get out of the mansion for a while. Throwing a light jacket on, you opened your door and paused when you noticed a water bottle and a protein bar on the floor with a sticky note over the two. You picked up the items to read the simple âeatâ that was written on the note. Slipping the note into your room, you kept the other items with you as you walked outside.Â
The morning air was sharp but refreshing. It felt good to get out of your room and get some fresh air. Something about it helped ease the weight you felt over your mind and heart, though only slightly. You opened up the protein bar and took a bite out of it as you continued your stroll through the school gardens. Turning a corner, you noticed Logan standing near one of the fountains. His eyes were focused on you like he had been waiting for you. You paused your movements as he came over. You couldnât help but note how warm his flannel looked over him and how deep his hands were stuffed into his pockets.
âMorninâ,â he greeted, stopping in front of you with enough space for you to make a move to leave.
âMorning,â you mumbled.
âMind if I join you?â
You shook your head in response, and Logan quickly fell in line beside you before the two of you continued walking. As much as you felt guilty about Logan taking care of you, you were grateful that the silence that fell between the two of you wasn't overbearing. The two of you walked around aimlessly for most of the morning until you decided to hide away again. You thanked Logan quickly before disappearing into your room.
For the next week, you kept the same routine. The beginning of the day held your on-the-go breakfast and a walk through the gardens with Logan. The middle of the day was spent wallowing in your room. The end of the day was spent with Logan forcing you to eat dinner. He had even started to eat dinner with you as well.
One morning, you finally decided to speak more than a few words as the two of you walked through the garden.
âWhy do you keep trying to take care of me?â You asked, keeping your eyes on the trail in front of you. âYou donât have to, you know. I can figure things out on my own.â
âI care about you,â he replied easily. It took a lot for Logan to admit that, but in talks with Charles, he realized that he may need to be more open with you to help you. âAnd helping you is something I want to do, not something I have to do.â
âIâm not worth all this trouble, Logan.â
âIf I didnât think you were worth it, I wouldnât be here.â
âLoganââ
âNo.â Logan moved to stand in front of you, stopping you in your tracks but still keeping a good distance to respect your space. âYouâre not a burden. You⊠You, Y/N, are worth more to me than I could ever explain. I will not let you go through this alone and let that dickâs voice that's still in your head bring you down. Got it?â You looked away and gave a slight nod. âGood.â Logan was aching to touch you, for both your sakes. âSweetheart, I need to know if it's okay that I come closer and touch you.â
You took a sharp inhale at his request. No one, especially Josh, had ever asked your permission for anything like that. You wanted Logan closer, but you didnât know what kind of touch he was talking about. You simply nodded, wanting to see what Logan was going to do. Logan could see the hesitation in your eyes as he took a step closer.
âLet me know if you need me to back off,â he said softly, taking another step forward.Â
You watched as Loganâs hand slowly reached forward and took your hand. His eyes remained locked on your face to make sure you were still okay with his movements. His thumb ran over your fingers as he carefully held your hand. Your heart picked up its pace, but only because you didnât remember a time when a manâs touch was so gentle.Â
âYou good?â He needed to check.
âMhm,â you hummed with a nod. âCould you⊠keep holding my hand as we walk?â
His lips lifted up ever so slightly. âAnything you need, darlinâ.â
~~~
Slowly, you began to spend more and more time out of your room. But you were never found far from Loganâs side. He had surprisingly become your beacon of light and was constantly aware of your needs.
âHave you thought about starting to teach again?â Jean asked one night at dinner. âYour kids miss you, and it might do you some good.â
âMaybe next week,â you responded. You needed a little bit more time to dwell on it all.
âHey! Itâs Y/N!â Pyro exclaimed, coming into the room. His loudness made you flinch and immediately put Logan on high alert. Pyro plopped down beside you, too close for comfort. You leaned back into Logan as Pyro playfully hit your arm. âYou really need toââ
As your heartbeat began to race, Logan took matters into his own hands. He quickly reached around you with one arm, careful not to touch you, and released his claws, pointing them at Pyroâs neck
âBack away, bub,â Logan growled.
âWoah!â Pyro leaned back, hands up in defense. âI was justââ
âBack up.â Logan pushed his claws closer to his neck.Â
Pyro scrambled back, especially as he noticed tears stream down your cheeks. âIâm sorry, Y/N. I didnât mean to do anything.â
Loganâs claws slid into place as you leaned further into him. Loganâs harsh eyes quickly softened as he turned his attention on you. He still didnât touch you, not wanting to push you further.
âSweetheart,â he whispered, not caring who was watching the scene at the moment. âWhat do you need?â
âTâToâleave,â you stuttered, eyes squeezed close.
âDo you think you can walk?âÂ
âNâNoâŠâ
âYou good with being carried?â
âPlease.â
As swiftly and gently as possible, Logan hoisted you up in his arms and carried you to your room. You buried your head in his neck, allowing Logan to feel the tears escaping your eyes. Logan could hear your heartbeat start to slow, but the tears were still coming. Once he reached your room, he tried to set you down, but you clung to him.
âHold me,â you whimpered.
Logan wasnât about to tell you no. Hell, he would do anything you asked of him as long as it meant you were okay and happy. He sat on the bed and held you closely. He didnât move his hands, wanting this to be whatever you were comfortable with. Logan held you until your tears passed.
âLogan,â you mumbled into his neck. âIâm sorryââ
âNot your fault, sweetheart. That stupid kid needs to be more aware of people's boundaries.â
âThank you for being here for me.â
âEasiest thing Iâve ever done.â
âEasy?â You pushed back and focused on playing with the edge of your shirt. âJosh always said I was hard⊠difficult and needy.â
âThat man was a liar, sweetheart. And not worth letting you waste any more time on him.â
âItâs hard⊠we were together for years⊠I⊠I loved himâŠâ
âI know, but you deserve better, Y/N.â
âMaybeâŠâ
âYouâll get there, and Iâll be there, whatever you need.â
~~~
It had been three weeks since Logan saved you from the apartment. and no one had heard from Josh. No one had mentioned it, but everyone was silently waiting for Josh to appear and wreak havoc.Â
âAre you sure youâll be alright? You can always wait to go after my meeting with the Professor,â Logan worried.
âIâll be fine, Logan,â you told him. âBesides, I was going to make a visit to my class after the walk.â Logan clenched his jaw, not liking the idea of leaving you alone for long. âIâll be okay. Iâll shout if I need anything. Iâm sure youâll hear me from Charlesâ office.â
âFine. Shout if you need anything. Iâm serious.â
âI know.â
You shot him a brief smile before turning around and heading to the gardens. You werenât there long before a voice had you going cold in your tracks.
âHello, Y/N,â Joshâs voice slurred from behind you.Â
Within moments, you felt like your heart was going to beat out of your chest. You couldnât get yourself to turn around, squeezing your eyes shut. You werenât surprised to hear Josh walk around and stand in front of you. Your lungs clenched as air refused to circulate through you. Joshâs hands harshly grabbed your upper arms and shook you.
âLook at me when Iâm talking to you, bitch!â He exclaimed. Your eyes involuntarily snapped open. âIâm taking you home. Now.â He started dragging you.
âNo,â you rasped. âNo!â You began to put up a struggle, only making Joshâs hold on you grow harder. âLet go! Let go of me!â
âYouâre forgetting your place, Y/N. When we get homeââ
Josh was suddenly yanked away from you. The loss of his grasp had you falling to the ground. Looking up, you saw Logan holding onto Joshâs collar with one hand and hand his other aiming his claws under Joshâs chin.
âIâm only going to say this once, bub,â Logan growled, more anger in his tone than you had ever heard. âFuck off. If I ever catch you near Y/N again, these claws will be the last thing you feel.âÂ
Logan shoved Josh away and moved to stand protectively in front of you, still glaring at Josh. Both sets of claws were out, Loganâs arms ready to attack at a moment's notice. Josh glanced at you briefly before Logan took an intimidating step forward. Then Josh ran off. Logan didnât turn around until he saw Josh go through the gate. Once he was sure Josh was gone, he spun around and knelt in front of you.
Before any words could get out of his mouth, you had launched yourself at Logan, clinging to him like your life depended on it. Logan wrapped his arms around you loosely, not wanting to push you too far.
âPlease,â you cried. âHold me.â
Loganâs arms instantly closed around you tighter. âIâve got you, sweetheart⊠youâre safe. I wonât let him hurt you ever again.â
~~~
The encounter with Josh left you shaken and basically back at square one. Logan wasnât happy to find out that Joshâs grip on your arms had caused matching bruises. But he wasnât going to let you see that. Instead, he helped you find a long-sleeve shirt to wear.
Months went by and slowly you began to heal parts of yourself again. Logan was there every step of the way, like he had promised. You eventually returned to teaching and other regular routines in the mansion. And you kept the new ones, like the morning walks with Logan.Â
It didnât surprise you as you began to realize that you were forming feelings for Logan. You had talked to a therapist about it, worried that it was a trauma response, but they had walked you through things, and you were sure your feelings were real. You didnât want to rush into anything. It helped that it was clear that Logan would take things at your speed. However, it was hard to keep it slow when he started complimenting you so often, and there was no doubt in his eyes that he didnât mean his words.
âHey, beautiful,â Logan greeted as he met you in the garden.
âHey,â you responded, easily slipping your hand into his.Â
The two of you began walking around the gardens, completing the same path you did every morning.Â
âIâve been thinking,â you began.
âYeah, sweetheart?â Logan said, proving that he was listening to you.
âWould you⊠ummm⊠would you accompany me to Charlesâ birthday party tomorrow night?â
Logan couldnât help but smile at you with great pride. âIâd love to, darlinâ.â
~~~
Logan met you at your bedroom door the night of the party and silently offered you his arm. He smirked when your arm laced through his. He led you down to the party, and you began mingling with the mostly familiar guests. You were grateful for Loganâs arm as all these people around you were making you anxious, but he was your anchor. Eventually, the two found yourselves against the wall, enjoying some drinks.
Lost in conversation with each other, you werenât prepared for someone to bump into you, causing you to spill your drink all over Logan. A sudden wave of desperation and guilt washed over you.
âOh my gosh!â You exclaimed, already started to tear up and tremble. Your hands came up to hover over Loganâs ruined clothes. âIâm so sorry! Iâm so sorry! Gosh, Iâm so stupid! I should haveââ
âHey, hey, hey, hey, hey,â he stepped closer to you, trying to get your eyes to focus on his eyes. âLook at me, sweetheart.â Your eyes frantically snapped to his. âIâm going to grab your wrists and lead you upstairs, okay?â
âOkay,â you squeaked.Â
Logan did as he warned and loosely took your wrists in his hands and began guiding you upstairs. You fully broke down as soon as you were in the privacy of your own room. You pulled yourself from Loganâs grip and stumbled back.
âIâm so sorry, Iâm so sorry,â you rushed. âI know that youâre mad and that Iââ
âNo oneâs mad, sweetheart,â Logan told you calmly. âIt was all an accident. Youâre okay.â
âBut I ruined your shirt.â
âThis can be washed. Itâs okay.â
âItâs⊠okay?â
Loganâs heart was breaking for you. You may never get Joshâs influence out of you for good, but Logan would try to show you how Josh should have treated you.
âItâs fine, Y/N,â he confirmed. âItâs just a shirt.â
âIâm sorry,â you continued to cry. âI thought that I was doing better.â
âYou are, sweetheart. You are doing amazing.â
âThen why did this trigger me?â
âSometimes it happens, and thatâs okay.â He held his arms out. âMay I?â You stepped into his arms, letting him envelop you. âYouâre doing amazing⊠healing is a slow process. Things are going to trigger you, and thatâs okay. Weâll work through it.â
âThank you for sticking this out with me.â
âAlways.â
~~~
A few weeks later, the others began teasing how much like a couple you and Logan were. Neither of you talked about it with the other, and you both defended it with the others, though neither of you minded the idea of being a couple.
The two of you were standing alone on the balcony one night, enjoying the stars, when your focus shifted to Logan.
âLogan?â You quietly called.
âHmm?â He hummed, glancing your way.
âCan you kiss me?â
Logan fully turned to face you now. âAre you sure, Y/N?â
âYes.â
Logan stepped closer. âWhere,â he paused to swallow, âwhere do you want my hands?â
You shrugged. âIâm okay with wherever⊠I trust you.â
Slowly, Loganâs hands came up to cup your cheeks. The two of you leaned in and hesitantly touched lips. The kiss was slow but caused your heart to race and feel like you were on fire in the best of ways. It wasnât a long kiss, Logan wanting to pull back before you got overwhelmed.
âThank you,â you whispered.
Logan chuckled, keeping a gentle hold of your face. âYou donât gotta thank me for everything, sweetheart. Iâm just trying to treat you right.â
âAll the more reason to thank you.â
He gave you another brief kiss. âI donât want to rush you, but I have a question.â
âYeah?â
âCan I be your boyfriend?â
You could have melted right there. For a rough guy to everyone else, Logan was truly the sweetest to you. âIâd like that⊠Iâd like that a lot.â
âYouâre being honest? Not just saying that because I asked?â
âItâs the truth.â
âGood. Iâm gonna kiss you again.â As Logan leaned in, you pulled back.
âYou donât need to warn me before you touch me⊠I can handle it.â
âSweetheart, Iâm doing it out of love, and I will continue to do it to show that you always have control over the situation.â
âHow are you this⊠good?â
Logan chuckled. âOnly for you, baby, only for you.â
Hello đ€ I have a question that has crossed my mind from time to time and I would like your (and maybe your followers) opinion on this, if you don't mind.
Thinking realistically, rather than with a romantic notion, do you think the LaDs men have had much, if any, sexual experience that hasn't been with MC?
Would God of the Tides have concubines brought to him, or gone on dates as a land lubber? Or do you think his bond with MC would prevent him from 'engaging' with anyone else?
Did Xavier date anyone before MC joined the guardians (I don't know the name I forget lol)?
I don't know anything about Sylus
Would Zayne have had a prom date or a girlfriend before he met with the current timeline MC? I know he says we are his only experience, but does that include just kissing someone?
IâM SO GLAD YOU ASKED!! One, I have also been rotating this around in my brain for quite some time and how I feel very lightly colors how I write for them! I haven't read much (if any at all) of the myths so I will just be looking at the present. I love thinking about this cause tbh sometimes the characterizations in game are not as full as I would like. I wonât keep this long but if you want more detail Iâm happy to add to this post! Anyway! Here are my thoughts!
Rafayel is literally the reason I had this thought in the first place. I thought it was so silly to think that he as a rich artsy boy had never ONCE hooked up with someone. He absolutely is a FUCKBOY! I will hear nothing else about it. I can't image he's not when so much of his overall characterization just oozes that kind of energy for me. My exception to this is that I don't think he enjoyed himself very much. Used sex kind of like a numbing thing cause he felt the void of your absence hard. He's not like a community dick kind of fuckboy but he has definitely been passed around a few times, if not as a professional then in art school.
Xavier is another one who I feel has some experience before (re)meeting MC. His experience is alot more clumsy and unsure compared to Rafayel. More of a situation like 'I want to be ready when I find her so I'm going to try it with someone else to be good at it. There may only be one person he's had sex with before MC and it was so bad she just had to leave. When that failed he just turned to erotica and p*rn to fill in the gaps. Eventually getting used to using his own imagination and getting off when needed. So when the time comes he's very prepared and VERY horny.
Sylus is a bit of a hard one because yes absolutely he is having sex with people before meeting MC. His overall vibe very much eludes to the fact that he has lived a life and I'm sure that is included. I don't think he's slinging it out to anyone who asks but he has been in some kind of relationship before. If anything we can say he is very comfortable having sex and has had sex before meeting MC. I have some more thoughts on this but I will keep it there for now!
Zayne from what I know has said that he isn't experienced and we are his first and I believe that. He very much gives full focus on the task at hand kind of man. Definitely not in high school but in med school I image him having a non serious fling with someone just to say he tried. They broke up soon after and he just never tried again until he and MC reconnected. That being said, he is a bit of a perv and has ALOT of pent up energy so once they start they literally don't stop. Like a weekend stuck in an endless loop of sleep, eat, fuck until he's at work desperate for you once again. The problem for him is learning how to control himself now that has MC.
My ask box is open for further conversations on this cause I genuinely love talking about this! Lets keep the conversation going!
making a part two for my solomon birthmark fic because i was already tempted and 1 (one) person agreed with me lol. shoutout to my birthmark twin @mahi-does-obey-me. i know i said i'd post something else today but the temptation was too great. i worked on this instead of doing my data analysis for my lab lmao <3
part of this was partially inspired by me actually missing a couple birthmarks on myself because I just forgot, or didnât know they were there until like yesterday lol. just like before, leans suggestive (more so than part 1 i think) but it's very cute. this is probably the raunchiest i'll be getting for a while lol. i feel like i really cooked with this
faded scar
"I don't know about you, but I'm starving." Solomon stretched his arms high above his head. His muscles gleaned with sweat, highlighting his surprisingly toned torso. He scooted to the edge of his bed, and swung his legs onto the ground.
"Can it wait just a few more minutes?" Despite being tired, you sat up and leaned against his back. You threw one arm over his shoulder, and the other was braced against him.
"It can. We can just order in instead." He reached for his D.D.D.
"You were planning on cooking?" You raised an eyebrow.
"I thought it would be cute to present you with a home cooked meal. Because I love you."
"That's alright. You do enough already." You laughed at that thought. You were glad he was deterred from cooking so easily today. You'd like your house to not be set on fire today.
"What do you want for dinner?" You peaked over his shoulder at his screen.
"Can we get Italian please? From my favorite place?" You fluttered your eyelashes at him when he glanced over at you. It worked every time, although you knew you didn't need that extra convincing.
"Of course, my love." He'd do anything you asked him, regardless if that was ordering your favorite food, or abandon the exchange program. It was funny how that worked; a demon started this in order to bring the three realms closer, and as a result, he just brought two humans together that could pose a real threat to what he'd created.
'You're the best!" You pressed a kiss on the back of his neck. He already knew exactly what you wanted, so no more words needed to be said. You studied his back profile. It was littered with countless old scars and pact markings. It clearly displayed the long life he'd lived.
âSorry about these.â You traced your fingers over the angry red scratches on his back that were beginning to puff up.
âIâll wear them like the badges of honor they are.â Solomon chuckled.
"You can't do that! The others are going to see." The idea of everyone seeing the marks and connecting the dots mortified you.
"That's not what you said when you gave those to me." He remarked. You smacked his back in response.
"Solomon!" You squealed.
"I can't promise anything." He held the hand that was dangling over his shoulder and kissed it. "Food will be here in about half an hour." He set his phone back down, but he didn't move. He let out a deep breath, and relaxed his back muscles. You watched as the tension left his body.
Neither of you spoke, and instead, you charted each and every mark on his back with your finger. In this searching, you found a line of birthmark down his back. It wasn't very neat, but it followed a pattern, starting at the base of his neck and ending at his hips. Maybe it was a result of all of the magic he'd done over the years, since you'd gathered he didn't know he had them.
"You didn't tell me you had so many birthmarks on your back." As you drew a line from the first to the last mark, a shudder wracked through his entire body.
"And you didn't tell me you had a birthmark on the front of your shoulder, and under your lip." You could hear the smile in his voice.
"I do?" You placed your head on his shoulder, to which he gently thumbed the spot where it must've been.
"How'd you notice that?" You reached up to touch the spot for yourself, not sure what you were expecting to feel.
"The same way you noticed mine. I did a lot of staring at your face for little while." Solomon admitted.
"You stared a lot of other placed too." You playfully rolled your eyes. You went back to staring at his back. You could only think of doing one thing to return the favor of what he'd done for you.
Carefully, starting at his neck, you kissed each and every birthmark, making sure to linger just long enough to make him itch for more. He let out a shaky breath, and seemed like he was suppressing another shudder. You giggled, but didn't stop. "Just remember, food will be here soon." You reminded him of the order he'd placed.
"You're the worst." He sharply inhaled.
"Love you too, baby." You played with the wisps of hairs at the nape of his neck. He squeezed your free hand a couple times, but made no move to stop you. Once you'd made it to the last birthmark, you lingered for a moment, letting your breath fan out over his lower back.
Solomon let out a gasp of what you could only describe as frustration. He threw his legs back up onto the bed, and laid down on his back, yanking the covers over himself. You stifled laughter and draped yourself over his torso. He gave you a peck where he'd pointed out your new birthmark, before letting you settle into him. He checked his D.D.D. quickly for the time.
"We still have twenty more minutes before food gets here." He let you know.
"So that means we have nineteen more minutes of cuddling." You hummed.
"We have fifteen more minutes of cuddling. I need time to put clothes on, dear." You grumbled at his response. You didn't verbally answer, but you knew you could get your nineteen minutes of cuddling whether he liked it or not.
The activities of the day had begun to catch up to you, and you felt your eyelids begin to droop. A couple times, you felt yourself falling asleep, and shook yourself awake, much to Solomon's amusement. You weren't sure how much time had passed before he spoke to you again.
âI think love is being by your side.â
âHuh?â You mumbled, already half asleep.
âWhen we first met, you ask me what I thought love was. I never answered you.â
âYouâre adorable.â You planted a kiss on his neck, since your face was already buried in it.
You were glad youâd chosen him.
On My Own / Rafe Cameron x fem!reader
Part 5
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4
Summary: It's the morning after Rafe's threatening behaviour, you're still shaken up, but JJ convinces you to go to the police for the safety of you and your baby. Your relationship with JJ also takes a turn for a huge change.
Warnings: typical toxic Rafe behaviour, swearing, threats, police reporting.
Authors note: Feel free to skip this! Here we are again with my terrible timing and scheduling. For the longest time, I had no ideas for the next part and my scheduling took a turn for the worst. I've been trying my hardest to get into University for the past 3 years and am finally here! There's been a lot going on personally behind the scenes for me too, so things have been difficult tbh đ
But I've finally figured out where I want this next part to go, I also took longer to write this so it was a longer part for the wait đ«Ą
Word count: 2.6k
After a filling and delicious breakfast made by Sarah, you showered and dressed for the day. You knew you would need to speak to the police about Rafe's behaviour last night, but honestly? You didn't want to. You were frightened by the power he held because of his family and wealth. Peterkin was the only one you could trust if you were to report him, you knew she would listen and take you seriously. She wasn't corrupted or took bribes to hide the truth, she always did the right thing if she could.
You had been mulling over the idea all morning as you brushed your wet hair. You wanted to protect your baby from being near Rafe if you could, they deserved better than to deal with an unstable and cruel man like him. Did you regret your baby? Absolutely not. But did you regret ever getting involved with Rafe? Yes, more than anything. You knew what you had to do, you just didn't know if you had the strength to do it. (hehehe).
A knock sounded on your door, pulling you from your heavy thoughts. You were honestly thankful for the distraction. John B poked his head around the door as you called him in with a smile. He entered your bedroom, opting to sit on the bed next to you. He bumped shoulders gently with yours, "Hey you. How are you doing?" He questioned as you peered at him. You bumped his shoulder in return, offering your most convincing smile.
"I'll be fine once Rafe is away from me and my baby." You mumbled as you rubbed your clothed bump affectionately. John B nodded and placed his hand on top of yours, always the big brother you needed. He brought his arms up and around your shoulders, lovingly pulling you into his chest. "We'll make sure he never comes near either of you again, and even so, we are all here to protect you. No matter what." You slapped at his arm playfully, "Stop! You'll make me cry!" You could already feel the hormonal tears building in your eyes. That telltale burn. He laughed loudly, not stopping you from hitting him.
Once he calmed down, he teasingly learnt closer to your ear. "Sooooo, what's happening with you and JJ?" the clear smirk sounded even in his voice, you could feel the motion against your head. You turned to glare at him, not at all serious, "Do me a favour? Just fuck off." You pushed at his chest gently, not budging him but it's the action that counted for your pride. He laughed once again before letting you go to look at you properly.
"Seriously though. What's going on?" He questioned with a gentle smile as you scooted to face him fully. You knew you could trust John B with anything and that it wouldn't leave this bedroom unless necessary. You shrugged, "Not sure. Didn't even think he saw me that way until this morning. Now I'm rethinking everything, but not necessarily in a bad way." You commented thoughtfully. You were honestly surprised that your best friend was in love with you, and for years for that matter.
"I mean, I think you should give it a shot. You know no one would love you as fiercely or loyal as him. And he loves the baby already. Plus, you've been best friends for years, so you know him well." He mentioned, naturally bigging up his best friend like the good bro he is. "Only if you want to though, of course. No pressure, I won't mention this conversation to anyone else. Just think about it yeah?" He pulled you in for a proper hug, a natural bear hug that had you sighing contently.
You nodded against his chest, wrapping your arms around him in return. The feeling of love and warmth pulling the tears out of you. "Ahhh, for god sake!" You yelled laughing, frustrated with your over-emotional hormones. You both laughed, yours coupled with sniffles. He held you till you pulled yourself together, chatting about how best to go about things. Until you were ready to let go and go to the police station.
John B left the room whilst you finished getting ready for the anxious day ahead of you. You were beyond nervous, especially about how Rafe would react. Lord knows he would hear about your visit to the station through nosy dickheads watching you. You could already feel a headache forming. You groaned as you put on your shoes, with great difficulty, and then made your way downstairs to join the gang.
Everyone was here, waiting for you whilst they ate or drank coffee. Not everyone was a morning person, *cough cough JJ and John B*. But everyone was up and here for you. They had all been filled in with the details of what had happened. JJ offered to take you to the station while the group returned to John B's. You were so thankful for them all, but JJ most of all. He'd held your hand, metaphorically and physically throughout this whole process. No matter how tough it's been or how difficult you thought you were to be around, he was always there with encouraging words. Not once frustrated with you.
You and JJ pile into your car to go to the station, while the gang returns to the chateau. JJ drove instead of you and insisted on doing so, whilst you bathed in nerves. Music from the radio played quietly in the background as you stared out the windows. You hadn't realised your leg was bouncing repeatedly against the floor, that your hands in your lap were pulling at your sleeves, or that you were biting the skin on your lips absentmindedly. You only noticed when JJ's hand grabbed your knee, rubbing the area soothingly.
You turned to look at him, your knee now still, "it's going to be okay, sweetheart." JJ reassured, trying to calm your chaotic mind and seeping nerves. You placed your hand on top of his, taking a deep breath in as you laced your fingers with his. You place your unoccupied hand on his arm, cuddling his arm into you. You hum contentedly at the warmth he naturally produces, snuggling closer to him. You caught soft wafts of his cologne wrapping around your senses and it instantly helps calm you.
You sigh, "Thank you." You speak quietly, comforted by his desire to help you feel better. He squeezes your knee, not needing to say anything, he already knew you were grateful. He hums, "What were you thinking about in that beautifully stressed brain of yours anyway?" he wonders with a reassuring smile, his eyes staying on the road ahead. You also look forward, watching the sunny scenery go by. People were going about their normal day-to-day activities, some rushing around or exercising. Everyone else's normal lives... unlike yours, which was chaos because of one single man.
You breathe in and then out through your nose deeply before answering him, "Thinking about... what Rafe will do or how he'll react when he finds out. I don't imagine it'll be long. That prick always seems to hear about everything, even before others do. It's like he has eyes everywhere at all times or something." You huff in frustration, looking out the passenger window, "I can't eat, shit or piss without that asshole knowing... So who knows what he'll do when he finds out I've gone to the station to report his behaviour." You whisper the last part, feeling dejected about what was to come with him.
JJ squeezed your knee again, to try and help calm your raging nerves and worries. He nods, "I know. It's going to be difficult but we need to stop him somehow. He needs to stay away from you and the baby, he's dangerous. Or I'll do something that'll get me into trouble." JJ mumbled the last part, seemingly more to himself than to you. You sigh, the last thing you wanted was JJ getting intro problems or going overly out of his way for you. He does enough for you as is, so you don't want him to do anything more.
-
It wasn't before you reached the station and parked outside, opposite the building. You sat in the car for a few minutes before going in, trying to calm yourself long enough to talk to the sheriff. It was beyond frustrating that this was where you were at in your life. That this was what you were dealing with because you stupidly fell in love with the wrong man. You wanted to smack yourself across the head for being an idiot, despite knowing his reputation. You fell for his charm and good looks, like an absolute fool. But now you were here and you couldn't change the past. But you could shape your future.
You look to JJ and nod, letting him know you are good. You both get out, taking your time with JJ's help and walk towards the building. You were going to use every trick in the book to stop Rafe from coming near you or your child again. You would report and record everything that Rafe has done that would class as a risk to your child to keep him away. So help you, you would protect your child with everything you could. With your own life if you need to.
You make your way inside and speak to the man at the reception desk, requesting to speak to Peterkin privately. He points to the chairs behind you in the small waiting area, "Wait here for a bit while I speak with her. She's busy at the moment, so it may take some time." You nod in understanding, "It's urgent, so I can wait. Thank you, sir." You reply as you turn to sit with JJ on the wooden chairs. The chair squeaked in protest from overuse and years of never being replaced.
You and JJ wait as patiently as possible, chatting to keep yourselves entertained and pass the time until Peterkin arrives. JJ held your hand the whole time, sensing your nerves returning tenfold. If your leg repeatedly tapping against the ground or your fiddling free hand had anything to say about it. You were waiting for around fifteen minutes, getting more antsy as each minute passed by. By the time Peterkin called you to go into her office, whilst JJ waited in the waiting area, you were a sweating bucket of nerves.
Peterkin closed the door behind you both as you took a seat opposite her desk, your hands resting on your stomach. "Some water?" She asked with a smile, walking over to her cooler. You nodded, "Yes, please." You were in need of something cold to cool you down and quench the thirst that had formed since waiting. She filled a cup and then offered it to you before sitting at her desk, "Thank you." You said gratefully.
"So, y/n. What kind I do for you? Congratulations are clearly in order." She motioned to your stomach with a kind smile, she was always so nice to you. Still is. "Thank you, not long to go. My pregnancy is actually related to why I'm here." She nodded, giving you the opportunity to speak up.
You gave her the rundown of what Rafe had been doing since the day you confronted him about your pregnancy. It took you half an hour to mention everything you could, trying your hardest not to forget any details. She asked questions where necessary and nodded when listening, all while writing down notes. Peterkin was well aware of Rafe's behaviour, he was a celebrity at the station. Peterkin wouldn't admit it but she did not like Rafe at all. She was completely understanding and comforted you when you teared up about last night.
"Damn, honey... That damn Rafe. I'm sorry for what he's been putting you through, you don't deserve any of that. But legally? I can't do anything. Unless he threatens or hurts you and your baby physically, I can't report anything for you. My hands are tied. Off the record: No matter how much I personally would love to see him punished. That kid is nothing but trouble. But as soon as something else happens, with Rafe, there is no doubt that he will, okay?" She sighs frustratedly, knowing already how deflated and frustrated you must feel.
You nod, hiding all the true feelings that wish to come to the surface underneath. "I understand, if there is anything that I can do, please do let me know. And I'll inform you of anything else that happens. Thank you, sheriff." You get up from your seat and make your way to the door feeling completely hopeless about what you'll do with Rafe next. Peterkin stops you just as you're opening the door, still in the doorway. You see JJ getting up from his seat at the sound of the door opening.
Peterkin hands you a sticky note with her name and number in black pen, "anything you need, just call. Anything. Okay?" She rubs your arm gently after she passes the note to you, a motherly comfort sort of rub. It made you smile, despite all the negative emotions you were feeling. You nodded, "Thank you."
You walk towards JJ, putting the sticky note in your bag for safekeeping. You'd add her contact info to your phone later on. "You good?" JJ questions with concern laced in his tone. You'd been in there for a little while, he'd probably been worried about you. You smile as you look at him, wrapping your arms around his bicep and leaning into his side gently. JJ smiled down at you in return as you answered him.
You explain everything to JJ on the way back to the chateau, all while trying your best not to think all that Rafe had planned since last night. He was beyond angry at you for doing nothing wrong, but in his eyes, you'd double-crossed him. It gave you chills. JJ did his best to assure you that they would all look after you and that he'd kill Rafe if he came near you or the baby, which you appreciated deeply. But you didn't want to get them involved. It wasn't their fault, it wasn't yours either, but you'd made your choice that first time you let Rafe lure you in with a kiss at the back of a house party at Sarah's.
You'd figure something out, you always did. You wouldn't let Rafe win, no matter what. That prick got his own way, way too often. But not this time, no. Rafe was going to stay away from you and your baby. Even if that meant having to flee somewhere he wouldn't find either of you. You turned and looked at JJ as the car stopped, both just taking a moment before you went inside. "Oh, you have something on your cheek." You pointed out, looking intently at his perfectly clean cheek. He started rubbing at his cheek confused, "gone?" he questioned with furrowed brows.
You shook your head, "come here, I'll get it for you." You motioned for him to come closer and as soon as he did, your lips were on his. Just a simple 3-second pec, to test the waters, despite his confession to John B this morning. You pulled away and stared at him with anticipation of his reaction. His eyes were wide in shock and you thought you'd fucked up. You went to move away but JJ grabbed the back of your neck and desperately pulled you in, crashing his lips against yours with a moan.
The more you looked at JJ, the more the talk with John B from this morning played on your mind. You'd been thinking of JJ as something more ever since, trying wouldn't hurt, would it? He wouldn't hurt you the way Rafe did and will. JJ was different and you couldn't lie that you'd never looked at him that way. Trying wouldn't hurt, would it?
Ive been seeing a lot of that 'Billy abused Max and then El' bullshit floating around and decided to write a little something. (This also happened to coincide with me seeing a bunch of TikToks with the 'POV you have an older brother' tagline which I thought were both hilarious and fitting)
--
El didn't have a brother, or any siblings for that matter. Sometimes she thought of her friends like siblings, but she knew it wasn't the same.
When she brought it up to Max one day the other girl had just huffed and replied with, "you can have mine if you want", but there was something to the roll of her eyes that told El that Max wouldn't really be willing to part with Billy.
The fact that she had started referring to Billy as her brother was a relatively new development. One that coincided with Neil Hargrove leaving.
A few days later El got to experience what it might be like to have an older brother, specifically one like Billy.
She was on Max's room, laying on her stomach at the foot of her bed, flipping through a magazine when the front door opened. She recognised the voices of the two boys instantly and glanced up to where Max was sat. "Are Billy and Steve also having a sleepover."
Max rolled her eyes again and shrugged. "I hope not, they're so loud."
"Gimme a sec, pretty boy. Just gotta check on the shitbird," Billy shouted as though he wanted to prove Max's point for her.
The bedroom door opened to reveal Billy, who stood in the doorway for an almost uncomfortable amount of time, just staring at Max. Max stared back at him, a matching blank expression on her face. He then seemed to notice El and gave her a brief nod, before wandering into the room and swiping Max's glass of coke off the side. He drank the whole thing, put the glass back down, lent over and roughly ruffled Max's hair until it completely obscured her face.
El was at a complete loss but Max didn't react, in fact she looked like she was fighting down a smile as Billy turned and... Farted at her?
"Gonna be spending the night at Steve's place. Don't do anything stupid," Billy said as he walked back over to the door, flicking off her bedroom light as he went.
El waited until they were alone again before turning back to see Max pushing her hair out of her face. "What... Was he mad at you?" She asked, because Billy hadn't seemed mad, in fact his eyes had been sparkling with the same kind of affection that her papa showed her.
Max snorted, picking up another magazine and flipping it open. "Nah, that's just his way of being nice. Brothers... Don't know how to act like normal people."
Exhaustion
Love and Deepspace Headcanons - You're so tired, all you want to do is sleep and go to see them. They're in the same situation.
A/N: Canonically, in the game we have a motorcycle hence the assumption the MC has their own transportation. Assume they're wearing the proper protective gear and that it's easy to get off XD (Though I know biker gear can be quite hard to actually take off. Just go with it pls lol) Brought to you by me being tired as hell, and thinking it would be nice to be able to go to someone and rest. ^J^
Tags/Warnings: Fluff, exhaustion, loneliness.
â«â«â«â«â«â«â«â«â«â«
Work had been rather grueling, long, and tedious, all in one, and there was still more to do. Sighing internally, you shot off a text in order to sadly, cancel the plans you had to visit. It looked like you'd have to stay at least an extra 10 hours, due to extremely unforeseen and urgent circumstances for the Hunter's Association.
Your final message felt inadequate to convey the warmth and happiness you felt knowing that he wanted to see you as much as you wanted to see him. Bolstered, the rest of the shitshow was just a bit easier to deal with as you had something to look forward to.
Wind whipping around you, the ride was something you needed. The sense of freedom, the speed, the music and the lights all gave you a sense of solace as you headed towards your destination.
â«â«â«â«â«â«â«â«â«â«
Xavier
You appreciated the irony as the elevator passed your floor and stopped at his. As you approached his door, you finally let yourself feel the exhaustion weighing down on you. Your body felt heavier, and it took more effort to move. Sleepiness hovered just beyond consciousness, and you fought it off. Looking at your watch, you sigh. 3:07, your estimate had been right on the money.
Still, despite how tired you were, you did want to see Xavier, even if this visit would probably just amount to you sleeping over.
Knocking to make Xavier aware of your arrival, you're just about to enter the door code, when it opens and Xavier stands before you, his arms open for a hug.
Wordlessly, you accept his invitation, hugging him tightly. His embrace is firm, warm and comforting and you can't help but relax into him.
"I thought you'd be asleep." You murmur softly, hugging him just as tightly.
"I woke up when I heard your bike." He nuzzles his face into your neck. "It's the signal for your arrival after all." Reluctantly, he breaks the embrace as you pull away to take off your shoes and put your satchel, helmet and jacket on one of the hooks. He makes his way back to his bed, turning to look at you as you follow, undressing down to your underwear.
Collapsing into the soft blankets, you burrow under the sheets with him. Xavier carefully, gently adjusts your position so you lay against him, your head resting on his arm, your back against his chest. Together, you drift off to sleep.
â«â«â«â«â«â«â«â«â«â«
Sylus
Unsurprisingly, he met you at the entrance to Onychinus Headquarters
"Sweetie, I would have preferred picking you up." Sylus takes your helmet and satchel from you, handing them off to the twins to deal with. "How rude of them to overwork you like this." Normally, you'd respond in kind, a fun playful exchange that flowed naturally. But frankly, you were too tired to really talk.
He gazed at you, taking everything about you in, and after he did so all he did was wordlessly kneel down and support you as he took off your shoes. "You look exhausted, Kitten. Let me help you." Sylus slips your jacket off your shoulders
Providing support, he guides you towards his room. You're absolutely sure that if he thought you'd allow it, he'd pick you up and carry you, but he didn't. You appreciated it as you much prefer to walk on your own, when you can. "I took the time to fluff your pillow
You may be tired, so much so that its obvious that once you relax you'll fall alseep, but you are very good at ignoring it, soldiering though until your body decides to force sleep.
How lucky it is then, that you can go to Sylus and rest, before it comes to that.
Ultimately, you crawl onto Sylus's bed and collapse, and he's not far behind, climbing in with you despite his wonky sleep schedule.
He faces you, pulling your head into his chest and your body flush against him as you both drift off for some much needed sleep. You feel safe and relaxed with his arms around you.
â«ïżœïżœâ«â«â«â«â«â«â«â«
Zayne
Unfortunately, this was a more common occurrence than either of you would like. Both of your jobs were quite intense and often required long hours.
Still, you both made a conscious effort to make time for each other, even if it ended up being strange hours sometimes. The times he got home before you were not rare, but infrequent, and this was one of these time.
Taking of your gear and shoes as you entered his home, you hoped that he was at least resting, hopefully asleep. It was something he deserved, and right now all you wanted to do was rest with him.
A warm glow cascaded over the room, making you smile. Zayne had left a light on for you.
Padding softly through the foyer, you quietly open the door to his room, making sure the light from outside doesn't disturb him. Much to your relief, Zayne was sleeping peacefully, his handsome face relaxed. He had an unguarded quality about him that you rarely saw.
A rush of affection suddenly overcame you. Carefully, you went over to him and kissed his forehead. As you withdrew, you felt him grab your hand, his eyes still closed. "Stay here" he murmured, his voice gentle and low, hazy with sleep as his hand falls from yours.
You move over to your side, ensconcing yourself in bed, growing cozy and warm with him next to you.
He gravitates towards you, intertwining his legs with yours and nuzzling his head into your neck, and you fall asleep, your eyes gently closing as you're tangled together comfortably.
â«â«â«â«â«â«â«â«â«â«
Rafayel
The solitary lamplight from Rafayel's studio illuminates the path as you walk up to his door. Although he had given you a key, you knock gently, just in case Rafayel was absorbed in his art.
A small clatter sounds after you knock, and you can't help but feel amused despite the haze of tiredness dulling your senses.
When he opens the door, a playful, soft smile pulls at his lips. "I don't suppose you have any news of my wayward companion?" He steps aside and helps you with your gear and shoes.
"Hmmm I think I have some news. It seems your companion has made it to their destination." Rafayel cleans up the box of paintbrushes he spilled, making sure your path is clear.
"Well! Now that they've arrived, they can't leave for a while. It's mean of them to leave me alone for so long, and so often." His pout is playful, his eyes focused on you as he intertwines his fingers in yours, holding your hand gently, as if it was some priceless thing, something to be cherished and treated with care.
You squeeze his hand as the two of you make your way to his room, his bed looking like the most luxurious, comfortable place in the world despite it really just being a slightly messy, normal bed.
"As much as your wayward traveler loves to explore, I'm sure they love being here too and would always make an effort to return to you." With that, you climb onto bed, letting go of his hand, your exhaustion amplifying the soreness of your body, making every movement take extra effort. As soon as you're comfortable, you open your arms to Rafayel, who had merely just stood beside his bed as you did so.
You open your arms for him, and he joins you in bed, almost clinging to you under the covers, entangling all his limbs with yours and burying his face into your neck, head resting on your chest, near your shoulder. "I missed you." Together you drift of, feeling safe and sound with each other under the covers.
đow to kiss a girl.
đ â 柶ć
„çĄć ïžÖŽÖ¶Öž fem reader & fluff + cw. not-proofread 784w ïœ you and shoko kiss for the first time.
It had been a while since you felt a strange sensation when you were around Shoko.
It was difficult to explain âž» or perhaps there was no adequate way to express what she provoked in you with a simple, fleeting touch of her fingers. It seemed extraordinary, the reaction of your body to her touches and the words of affection she uttered. And yet you were best friends, sharing secrets and being privy to each other's adventures. You knew each other like the back of your hands. It was undeniable that your love was completely platonic. Although you liked girls, Shoko didn't like girls romantically âž» and in the end you were just a simple girl.
Maybe the problem was how beautiful and kind she was. Maybe the problem was you and your constant denial of your feelings from the beginning. Or maybe the problem was the fate that brought Shoko into your life.
You watched as Shoko sat next to you on the sofa, devouring a bowl of ice cream. It was a habit to have evenings like this, it could almost be called a routine. The two of you, settled on the sofa in your apartment, having a "slumber party" while complaining about adult life, watching the most clichéd romantic comedies of the 90s and 2000s while enjoying ice cream.
âWhat happened?â Shoko asked, turning to you. Her black eyes shone like gems with their sparkle, her pink moisturized lips had a perfect shape, which were smeared with your favorite ice cream.
âNothingâ You shook your head negatively, trying to dispel the thought of how inviting her lips were. âI was just thinking about a paper I have to turn in at the end of the month.â
Shoko didn't seem to care about your false explanation, she just nodded and turned her attention back to the pot of ice cream in her hands.
You went back to watching the random movie on the TV and settled down better on the sofa, trying not to look at the woman next to you. Paying attention to something other than her lips was your only goal, but your mind didn't seem to like the idea of paying attention to anything else, so the image of Shoko's lips appeared in your mind every second and drove you crazy.
When your attention finally settled on the clichéd plot of the movie, you felt a movement on the sofa and when you turned around, you noticed that Shoko was sitting next to you, so close that you could feel her arm touching yours.
"Did something happen?" You asked, confused by the closeness, but Shoko only moved closer.
âThere's something I've always wanted to know, what it feels like" her eyes met yours and you finally swallowed, feeling a nervousness growing in your stomach.
"What is it?" Fortunately, your voice didn't break, as it threatened to do at that moment.
"I noticed you staring at my lips earlier and I wanted to know how to kiss a girl.â
"Ah well... you know, it's not much different from kissing a man, I guessâŠâ
"It doesn't seem right to kiss a girl the way you kiss a man. Maybe you should teach me, don't you think?â
"Shoko..." You felt your body burn, not knowing if it was embarrassment or excitement to know that Shoko wanted to kiss you.
"May I?" Her hand rested firmly on your neck and slowly approached your face.
Unsure what to say and intoxicated by her sweet cherry scent, you just nodded.
"Come on, darling, use your words." she smiled sideways.
"Y⊠yes" her voice was almost a whisper.
When you least expected it, you felt her soft lips touch yours and an electric current ran through your entire body, sending shivers down your spine. She moved her lips against yours in a calm, gentle rhythm and you just went with the flow. Her hand left the back of your neck and moved down your body until it found your waist, taking the opportunity to slip her hand under your pajama top and lightly squeeze it. Shoko laid you down on the sofa and positioned herself between your legs as she slipped her tongue into your mouth.
Little by little you felt your body burning with lust. It was inevitable not to get addicted to Shoko's sweet lips and her hands running over your body.
However, confirming the saying "all good things are short-lived", you pulled away, gasping for air. You felt her hand run over your bare skin, sending a strong shiver down your spine.
âI think kissing a woman is much better than kissing a man." Shoko smiled before she attacked your lips again.
