Now Bruce was not expecting to reincarnate upon his death. At least he thinks he died, he’s pretty sure he did. There wasn’t any other reason for him to be a well, literal baby. Around two he thinks, which fits well with the fact that it’s around that time that babies start forming memory recall, if he, well, remembered correctly.
But while he knew about reincarnation thanks to Shayera and Carter, he’d never exactly given it much thought towards himself. Because seriously, what were the chances of such a thing as him being given another chance?
So he was quite surprised at his situation, experimentally opening and closing pudgy hands that looked well, just a tiny bit off. He’d never been that pale before, he thinks, even back when he never went outside like, ever.
He turned his gaze towards the mobile above him with a sort of idle curiosity- a mixture of bats (ha) and other trinkets he wasn’t familiar with. It also caused him to get his first good look at his parent, asleep on a rocking chair right next to the crib.
Huh. They had the same pale skin he did, albeit in the light it looked like it was slightly tinted blue, and while their hair was white they didn’t exactly look old. They looked surprisingly well rested for raising a toddler too, unless they had a nanny or something similar… He rolled over, managing to very shakily push himself to his feet with the help of the crib.
Why was standing so hard as a toddler? And why did he have his memories of everything except how he had died anyway?
His head whipped up from where they were staring at his feet when he heard a snort, finding his parent awake and standing. Somehow silently enough that he hadn’t noticed- or he was that easily distracted by the unfamiliar giddiness bursting in his chest.
“Morning little bat,” his parent easily picked him up and held him while he inwardly sighed at the nickname. Of course his bat motif would follow him into this life. A low rumbling almost caused him to jump, his body relaxing before he could fully register the sound. The… purring?
Oh.
He wasn’t human this time around.

I learned how to convert swtor stuff to the sims 4 and now I am unstoppable. First up is Talarai's Montral jewelry and pattern (fit for Hexmcchina's Togruta Collection) and the skilled/able hunter chest and gloves with Xoxaan's footwraps and sash.
It still needs some fixes but for my first ever sims mod that isn't just a retexture, I'm happy with it!

I've been playing slitherio these past few days, and after some time messing around with nicknames and my own experience with the stuff, I've realized anger is something very easy to weaponize. On my second attempt of having "trans rights" as a nickname I killed a huge ~5k point worm as a teenie tiny 200 point worm simply because it was so desperate to kill me specifically. Anger makes your life harder, but it also makes people really unwise. I fucking bet this is in "the art of war", even though I haven't read it.

Idk what I want to work on next besides probably another giant octopus and a Bucky Bear for my MTH auction fill, so I'm taking suggestions! What do you think I should make next?
#the person behind the yarn#as usual I make no promises or guarantees about what I will make#I never know what spark of imagination will ignite#and suddenly pivot my focus to be lasered in on making a giant octopus for like an entire day#could not have predicted that one lol#also I found someone else's large octopus plushie and their pattern looks significantly easier to design#way more complex to sew!#but simpler to design#I usually fall on the 'I'd rather it be easy to design and complex to sew instead of easy to sew and complex to design' side of the scale#so idk why the octopus was such an exception for me?#but it really is! it's surprisingly extremely easy to sew#I mean. like. a lotta curves to sew#but if you pull a bit on the fabric as you sew the tentacles you just get tentacles that are twisting a little#which is fine because they are tentacles. if anything it's a bonus and makes them look better

I'm doing a challenge called the pookie challenge where I see how far into bg3 I can get as just me and gale. initially my thought was "omg I'm gonna go through the whole game as just a two-person party" and while that WOULD be fun and sweet and so important to a cancer moon guy like me, I realized I am probably gonna have to start bringing other people along and/or turn down the difficulty so I'm reframing it in my mind as, let's take this as far as it can take us and have fun along the way. this way I can see more gale dialogue I've never seen before...
#it's been surprisingly easy so far combat-wise LOL haven't really had to reload and redo fights. well there was the one time.#the downside is not getting approval with the other characters at all... I'm mostly thinking about how hard it's gonna be to convince shart#not to kill REDACTED because apparently approval influences the DC on checks in their personal quests#and in my original playthrough I Did not have a very high shart approval so I had a hard time. and I imagine it'll be even more so now#bg3 spoilers
