Imagine Nightmare sending his henchmen after the stars, maybe at their base or somewhere where it should be easy to catch them off guard, but they just keep eating shit in hilariously slapstick ways.

Like Killer is chasing Blue with a knife but Blue opens the fridge door and clotheslines him with it. Horror appears around a corner fast to catch Ink but he misjudges it and trips over an armchair and falls. Dream pushes Dust down the stairs.

i've seen lots of 'the death of future donnie' comics, most recently ofc being from @somerandomdudelmao (i went back and forth abt tagging but then decided i would, because this is directly their fault, /pos) and then, of course, all the fan content that was made in response to said comic... and i love seeing so many people make so much awesome work! but it's also really fucking sad.

so often in the real world, there are no goodbyes, no dying in the arms of a loved one, no heroic sacrifices, there's just... death. people just die and it sucks. especially because in real life there's also no cool storyboarder assuring you that there's gonna be a happy ending and you'll see them again. and so it's like... then what?

i dunno. i was just sad about it for a while, and i wasn't really sure what to do with that, but i guess this is my answer. sometimes you don't get to say goodbye or hold them when they leave you, and you dunno if you'll get to see them again. but you can still have the mark they left on the world and hang onto that. because no matter what, once upon a time, they were there, and you remember. other people probably do, too.

I love how many people didn’t get the joke in Barons Game that Mordred manor is a haunted house so the nightmare version has stereotypical monsters inside it even after Brennan spelled it out.

it’s Frankenstein, Ghost, Werewolf, and Vampire.

This does mean that Baron did this on purpose and I think it’s really funny that Baron decided to do that. Because it implies Baron has an actual sense of humor, to make what is essentially a bad haunted house attraction using stereotypical Universal Monsters as his fucking nightmare game place. I love them so much.

The way Color was fighting for his life in the Sans Hazard comics is hilarious. Why are they making it so hard for him to protect them 😭

He was the only one with sense too, everyone trying to go their own separate ways and split up.

Also, I found it interesting how Color was able to sense something about to happen, or somehow knew that the ones hunting them knew where they were. Is his intuition and “gut” feelings that good?

Also, more talk about Color being a “dead body.”

Makes me wonder if he did truly die after absorbing the souls and killing the human, but the six souls reanimated him. Wonder if he’s like a zombie. The way it’s said the six souls keep him alive, implying that maybe his own soul doesn’t keep him alive? Or he doesn’t have his own soul.

And then of course him absolutely beating Killer and Cross’ asses. That’s what six human souls get you I guess.

still nutty to me how people's legit trauma from things that main characters do are just swept under the rug or mocked. william kaplan, a thirteen year-old boy who didn't do anything, is killed in a car accident and no one even knows because billy/teen took over his body (i'm not blaming him at all i doubt it was on purpose, but a boy did die and no one knows). sharon davis was roped along to the road, mocked the entire time, killed, and then mocked some more. ralph bohner is the closest we get to someone actually saying "what happened was a nightmare and it fucked me up," but even his story is full of jokes that are only made tragic because evan peters is delivering them in such a way that it's clear that it's because he's that mentally unhinged from what happened. the mcu is a place where people get hurt and are made fun of because they couldn't stop it
