i need to know everything about your pjo voltron au

okay so basic plot premise: Thalia, Luke, Jason, Percy, Maria di Angelo, and Bianca all work at the Garrison and get sent on 3 separate missions (Thalia & Luke, Jason & ??? or maybe he's just by himself, then Percy & Maria & Bianca) which are all "lost" and they're declared dead by the Garrison.

Of course they were actually all abducted by aliens. Maria probably dies pretty early on in that whole situation. Thalia gets separated from Luke and ends up escaping and becoming a rebel. Luke, Jason, and Percy & Bianca all separately (except for Percy & Bianca) end up gladiators. Luke becomes The Champion and basically ends up a Kuron/Sendak-type character situation. Is he being mind-controlled? Unclear. He has a giant alien scythe-sword though. Bianca probably dies buying Percy time in the arena. At some point Percy and Jason find each other and decide to try and stick together.

Hazel is a human raised by her galra dad in space with the Blade of Marmora. She knows she has a half-brother through her dad out there somewhere but not anything else about him. She ends up running into Jason and Percy on a mission and helps them escape cause they're humans too.

Back on Earth, Piper, Leo, and Annabeth are all Garrison students. Or Annabeth is possibly in a Keith-type situation where she used to be a student but got Kinda Pissed Off about all her loved ones disappearing into space and ended up getting kicked out. Nico is in a Pidge-type situation where he snuck in as a student under a false name to figure out what happened to his family's mission. Percy and Jason crash on earth, the gang finds them, they find the Blue Lion, and Percy pilots it to the Altean castleship where they meet Reyna and Frank. Reyna is the Altean Princess, because her sister Hylla was queen. Frank is the son of a high-ranking general or something and he and Reyna are a duo.

Lion adventures happen - Annabeth pilots the Green Lion, Jason pilots the Black Lion. Nico finds the Red Lion and meets Hazel when he does and brings her back to the castle. Hazel pilots the Yellow Lion. Nico very quickly realizes he's half-Galra and Hazel's brother and joins the Blade of Marmora. Percy swaps from Blue to the Red Lion. Piper starts piloting the Blue Lion. Leo, Frank, Reyna, and Nico end up the home-base support team. Percy probably keeps the blue paladin armor and Piper gets the spare pink armor for color association reasons and also cause that's usually the format for every iteration of Voltron anyways. It works out nicely. Everybody has extra lion compatibilities too/every Lion has a back-up basically cause I'm still mad vld canon dropped the lion lore/sentience plotlines and we never got cool dynamic lion swapping instead of just the usual single switch. We're having fun here.

Then everything else I don't have much for other than Annabeth and Nico basically swap Keith and Pidge roles once they join Voltron so Nico goes and has his galra identity crisis adventures and Annabeth reunites with Thalia at some point, who is basically in a Matt-type role. And Luke functions as the Sendak-level antagonist who Annabeth probably gets to fight with a swap back to Keith's role in a whole Keith & Kuron emotional situation. Kronos and Gaea are probably analogous to Zarkon and Haggar/Honerva here but not necessarily in that order, and obviously it's more of an either "Emperor and his advisor mom" or "Empress and her prince son" but in either one somebody's doing magic and people are probably getting possessed. Hades, Persephone, Iaepatus/Bob, and Damasen are all with the BoM. The Titans/Giants are probably all Empire generals. Who's Lotor? Octavian? Calypso? I don't know. Who are all the gods? I dunno. We'll workshop it.

Morty's lips pursed at the request, his expression turning openly troubled. He didn't even know where to start from to pick an embarrassing tale about Rick, for more than one reason. On one hand, he had so many stories to tell that choosing one was a real challenge. On the other, he dreaded the moment when Rick would find out that he had embarrassed him in front of everyone. His grandfather was the pettiest man he had ever met and his paybacks could be straight out traumatising.

"Uh, w-well, there was this one time...W-We were doing in the lab one night and R-Rick got drunk. L-Like really drunk, even for his standards." He was used to see the scientist wasted, but he had rarely seen him that intoxicated. "I-I think he was trying to get me drunk, b-but I guess he got distracted an-and forgot at some point."

His mother would have murdered them both if she had learnt that Rick let him drink as much as he wanted, so Morty always tried not to overdo. After all, Beth was an alcoholic too, so she would have instantly recognised the signs of a hangover.

"He...I-It was a good day, b-because we had gone on an adventure an-and he had managed to get his hands on this...thing." He scratched the side of his head. "I-I'm not sure what it was, b-but Rick was really excited about it."

Seeing the man in such a good mood was a treat, reason why the teen had accepted to celebrate with him. A cheerful, drunk Rick was a Rick who treated him much better than he usually did and who even threw praises his way and, as embarrassing as it might have sounded, Morty wanted to get as much of that as he could.

"I-I left him alone for five minutes to, uh, go to the bathroom an-and when I came back he was chatting up one of the cabinets. H-He was totally hallucinating or-or something, b-because he acted like the thing answered him an-and stuff and he insisted that I-I met his 'new good friend', Mister Cab I. Net."

It had been a really weird experience, but thinking back to it, the boy had to admit that it had also been pretty hilarious.

"R-Rick doesn't remember it, an-and that's pretty funny too. H-He gets confused when I make a reference to it." A chukled. "H-He's still trying to figure out what I-I'm talking about."

Fine. Whatever. You find the idea of playing a human boring. But I'm kind of getting sick of people saying this to me, a hyur enjoyer, sometimes even directly under my own screenshots of my OCs.

Hyur in FFXIV are a *wildly* fascinating take on the "humans in a fantasy setting" that we often see in video games. They're an almost complete subversion of "humans are the dominant culture that everyone assimilates into and also they did a colonialism at some point, which is why their language is The Common One".

Meanwhile, hyur in ffxiv? They're MIGRANTS.

They're NOT the dominant culture. Are they the most numerous population in a lot of places? Sure. Because they have kids out the wazoo, but I digress. Hyur in ffxiv are defined by their adaptability and willingness to assimilate. They're *so* defined by adaptability that there are at least three major historical events throughout the astral and umbral eras called "The Great Hyur Migration". Hyur only arrived in Ishgard after the dragonsong war had started and you'd be hard pressed to find any modern Hyur born and raised in Ishgard who would define themself as anything *other* than Ishgardian. Their names may be slightly different than Ishgardian elezen, but I would theorize that might just come down to class dynamics as while hyuran noble houses exist, they're not common. However in Hingashi they've completely assimilated into eastern Raen culture, as an example. I actually hesitate to find any place we know ingame to be completely dominated by hyur, because in Gridania despite the elementals picking hyur to be padjal the culture seems to be most influenced by wildwood elezen, and in ala mhigo while hyur are the most populous of demographics, the entire culture seems to be a marriage of hellsguard and miqo'te. Ul'dah is clearly highly influenced by lalafell above all, and limsa lominsa is heavily developed by the sea wolf roegadyn. Hyur just kind of fit themselves in and adapt to what everyone around them is doing.

So why is the language spoken by all the peoples in Eorzea the same? Isn't that the hyuran language? Nope! It's pretty explicitly said that the common language is a pidgin tongue that was deliberately developed by merchants and was adopted widespread out of convenience. They even say that Tural took inspiration from this in developing their own (and it's only coincidentally similar enough that your party can understand it with minimal language barrier, funnily enough. That's a hilarious way to handwave 'eh, game mechanics' tbh).

Anyway hyurs are really cool and I really want to see more people appreciating them for the interesting lore they do have and also exploring this concept more. Like making their hyurs naturally predisposed to learning multiple languages for example.

the snape rumours change every day. there's five variations on each one. there's snape lore in the school that you have to brush up on as a first-year. the kids are DESPERATE to get a scathing snape burn in class. when he's cruel and demeaning, the kids' faces LIGHT UP and he's furious that that doesn't work any more so most of the time he gives the class the silent treatment

harry's shouted out everywhere that Sev did it all for Lily, and so the girls and single mums (and some not single mums) think he's the god of romance. suddenly sev finds himself the new Lockhart, and he LOATHES IT

he receives firewhiskey and care packages from thankful parents for the first few years, so much that he has to start re-gifting them in the staffroom, and he even gains a little bit of weight from all the chocolate cauldrons. he stops attending breakfast for the first few weeks, because all the owls with letters of thanks were disruptive

he asks one time in class if anyone had any questions about the cure for boils and EVERY hand goes up. he pauses, surveying the class. "are there any questions about the potion" he says, and every hand goes down - but one.

"did you ever use this potion defeat Voldemort"

he considers resigning in that moment, but at least hogwarts keeps him away from his #1 enemy - media attention. kids are easier to keep in line than journalists. unfortunately the other teachers think all of this is hilarious, and give him a daily run-down of their favourites in the staffroom

One night Peters talking to Miles about it and how they need to find this guy before it turns from maiming criminals to hurting civilians, and Miles recognizes the guy from the vague description and he's just like "Oh you mean Jason" and Peter's like "Who???" Then Miles just lore dumps on Peter how he regularly finds Jason on random parts of the city while he's patrolling and sometimes buys bro a sandwich and a drink. They're pretty friendly even when Jason doesn't talk much, Miles tries to redirect Jason towards shelters or F.E.A.S.T but knows that sometimes bro won't listen and go out to beat ass. I'm sure many other people have recommended this story for the Rewind 2024 event but I'll throw my vote in too for this incredibly well-written, amazing take on how things could've gone if Lotus Pier didn't fall and Wei Ying realized he loved Lan Zhan earlier. It features genius Wei Ying, supportive Lan Qiren, learning-to-be-less-naive Lan Xichen, and lazy but talented Nie Huaisang. The world-building is gorgeous and the storytelling phenomenal. @doctorbunsenhoneydew

My, my, his life was always filled with surprises, wasn’t it?  Sometimes, it takes a hundred sacrifices and a dozen heroes to change fate. Other times, it takes a rock and a sentient corpse tripping on it mid-fight to avoid a lifetime of tragedies and send destiny into a tailspin. In which Wen Ning misses his attack, Jin Zixuan lives and Wei Wuxian builds a sect for all those who don’t have a home. It is only thirteen years later that the cultivation world bothers to acknowledge him and his people, and only when they’re desperate for a favour. Never let it be said that Wei Wuxian would allow himself to be used.

Really awesome fic for what if LWJ became sect leader after the Wen attack on Cloud Recesses. There are some really good wangxian moments and I really like how the fic showcases sect administration and how the sect works now with LWJ as the leader. - Anon

While searching for the demon, he encountered a mysterious cultivator dressed all in white. Wei Wuxian was excited to finally meet another cultivator, but instead of greeting him or making pretty much any conversation at all, the man attacked Wei Wuxian on sight. - - - - - - There is NO WAR in this fic. This takes place two centuries after the war happened, and it has a sort of post apocalyptic vibe. This is a story of rebuilding and finding safety. It's about found family and forming a new society away from the old one that persecuted them.

The man looks even more angry. He pulls his shoulders back and draws himself to his full height, which is rather impressive and forces Wei Ying to tip his chin up slightly. ‘My name is Lan Zhan,’ the man says. ~ (The one where it’s a dark academia AU - only it’s not.)

So anyways this is all Emmy’s fault. Girlie just wanted her own rock band and made it everyone else’s problem. Now there’s a group of mid-twenties to forty somethings trying to relive the glory days.

And to top it all off I have a relationship sheet. Sometimes you think Desmond is baby girl, sometimes you remember that by curious village he’s a 43 year old man. Sometimes that doesn’t stop him from being babygirl. He’s like the trap of the group, where teens will see edits of him online and start stanning him. Bro doesn’t know what that means and is too scared to bother finding out. Emmy finds it hilarious.

In this au, Desmond works as a renowned archeology professor with a loving wife and a daughter under a fake identity. His relationship with his father is none-existent, having cut all contact in his teens. His brother, Theodore, was taken by child-protective services in his youth and doesn’t remember Des at all.

Emmy, is a journalist for the company, Targent. She used to travel the world in search of good stories, but recently settled down in the area to follow the story of a famous archeology professor, one Hershel Layton. She also recently connected with her cousin Desmond. He is unhappy about this.

Clive, is also a journalist for a competitor company, World Times. He and Emmy were fast friends due to their mutual love of compelling stories and teasing. They get drunk on Saturdays and complain/gossip to each other. He seems to have a vendetta against a local politician, Bill Hawks, but Emmy can’t quite pin down why.

Bloom is a local investigator on the force who keeps the police in line with Targent’s goals. He influences the top brass and the police’s young prodigy. He and Emmy see each other often during Targent briefings and are close workmates, though not entirely by his choice.
