like, yeah we know they’re lords and stuff, and obviously we know that a few of them have some important titles, like Levi being in charge of the navy, but like, what if they were all important??

like, I could imagine Beel being talked to about food production/harvest. maybe he’s not directly in contact with any food ofc, but I feel like he’d be the best to go to about amounts of food and maybe harvest problems, he IS an insect(I think cicada?) so I feel like he’d know a thing or two, imagine him catching an issue with the soil being used to grow a lot of the devildoms food!

And then mams playing a part in finance. which.. prolly sounds silly but hear me out:

yes, he’s in debt, clearly, however what’s something he likes to do??? Count money!! So I could see him doing the math, counting, ect. And being able to spot if there’s something wrong or if something should be changed, and since ofc he cares about cash it would prolly be one of the things he ACTUALLY locks in for. (even though he’s horrible at school, there’s no way he ISNT good at math, idc what’s canon you need math when it comes to money. Also I think it would be insanely funny if he was in a bunch of honors classes for math when he’s still in the starting course for history and junk.) ((yall can tell me how wrong this hc is however I shall not be moved!!))

and I could imagine asmo maybe handling the affairs of sucubi?? And possibly other creatures that travel to and from the human realm for… yk those purposes. He could probably have some part in giving certain people permission to travel up, and possibly travel to the human realm in general! Like if you have any reason at all to go up there you gotta run it past him first.

now with s8n… hear me out. he keeps track of history, he reads documents that are to be published in devildom history books, and he will make SURE only facts will be included, no opinions or rumors or lies. And if he catches something at all either in a WIP document or something that’s already been published, you know it WILL be changed because no one wants to face his wrath.

And ect. Ect. And yk, they’re probably actually respected throughout the devildom. Even if some citizens don’t like them for being angels, there’s no way you WOULDNT pretend to have respect(and maybe a bit of fear) for the people who are basically besties with the future king. Yk? Honestly, I DO love the whole school thing, it’s a familiar trope and it gives more room for things to happen, but you CANT give people titles and status’s like them and NOT utilize it???

also I wanted to add belphie… but I couldn’t think of anything for him that he’d actually be willing to do?? The only thing I could think of for him would be like.. similar to asmo? Like he handles hauntings? Since there’s a large amount of demons that do their work via dreams and during the night. So he’s kind of like an HR..? But like.. DR instead? But I really don’t think he’d gaf about any of that, since yk.. he still kinda hates humans so why would he care if a bunch of demons were haunting&killing them??

Maybe he has an important job, but poor Luci just has to always do it for him since belphie can’t stay awake to save his life.

hiii bark bark anon!! you didnt specify if you wanted serious headcanons or silly ones, so im just gonna toss in a mix of both 🐇 (some of these are kinda stupid, but whatever)

- if you take a look at his villains wiki page, you see that HABIT has a couple ACTUAL real murderers and whatnot listed as aliases. im assuming these aspects of his character were just kinda tossed in by the guys to make him more hated (which, might i add, kinda backfired HAHA) since they arent important to his character nor do they even add anything to the series... and personally, i dont dig the idea of taking real cases and going "ohh, this silly fictional character dude WAS those guys!" SOOO i like to think HABIT just kinda lied about being them. he used it as a scare tactic, for shock value, to seem worse than he actually is, and just for bragging purposes.

- he favored the 1900s. theres a lot of small details that hint to this being canon (recently went over a few in a previous post of mine) but obviously i cant just go and call it canon as much as id like to. CANONICALLY speaking though, his use of certain slang was popular back then, same with some of his music taste and style choices. the dudes been around for a LOOONG time, and EverymanHYBRID makes sure to point out quite a bit of his activity from around then for lore purposes. i <3 that old man

- Nightmare Of You enjoyer. based off of his canon known music taste, i believe he might like them. definitely not all their songs but some of them. this isnt any music he would play while torturing someone like he did with Rob Zombie, but something he would listen to while like... reading. or something like that. idk. maybe he would use it to taunt people like he did with a few Frank Sinatra songs. (i might be biased though simply because i like this band a lot and associate him with one of their songs)

- HABIT has a sweet tooth, but is also picky when it comes to sweet things. in "The day the world ended" he is seen digging through a jar full of candy and gets excited when he finds reeses, he tosses almond joys and mini choco stroopwafels (what the hell are those? HELP.) to the side and goes "WHAT IS THAT. WHAT IS THAT?" as if hes offended by them. he also baked maple bacon cookies once, so it makes me think he just isnt fan of things that are OVERBEARINGLY sweet? reeses and maple bacon cookies arent extremely sweet.

i also think he probably just doesnt indulge in sweets that often, so when hes finally able to get his hands on some hes like FUCK YES!!!!! (hence why he refused to share any of the reeses with Vinny. greedy as hell 🙄)

- HABIT watches horror movies just to critique them and make comments like "I COULDVE DONE THAT SO MUCH BETTER." "I WOULDVE USED A DIFFERENT TACTIC." "THAT CHOICE OF WEAPON IS SO BASIC AND BORING."

i also believe he prefers classic, older horror films over newer ones. i mean, who doesnt?

- Postal player, HABIT canonically likes video games but i dont recall him ever mentioning any specific ones? (feel free to correct me if im wrong there) im mainly talking about Postal 2 2003 and maybe Postal 1997 to be more specific. i dont see him as someone who plays video games often though, it would be more of a last resort bored out of his mind kind of thing.

I think Tom/Voldemort(applying to either of them) deserve to have more fucked up humour in fics since it's basically canon.

Like let's be honest, both of them basically LIVE for weirding people out, you'd either be downright uncomfortable at best spending time with them or psychologically scarred/traumatized at worst. Young Tom was basically the most terrible kid in Wools orphanage with what he did to the rabbit and how he literally made two kids mute from some unnamed noodle incident. It's pretty clear even from the dialogue that he was practically on a powertrip, likely finding it humorous that the other children didn't have the power or magic to defend themselves.

Voldemort on the other hand, is more subtle with displays of psychological torment(when he isn't throwing around crucios) Eg. Calling Peter wormtail and taking numerous jabs at his cowardice and then joking about bellatrixes "highest pleasure" in that scene and then asking draco if he would babysit the cubs... lol

The only reason he doesn't come across like a guy who jokes around often is because most, if not all of his "jokes" are delivered very straightforwardly– and also most of his screentime is basically just torturing people, something he finds fun albeit it doesn't come across as jolly to the audience for obvious reasons

Like he's the type of guy to audibly snort at his own jokes, he probably used to write out edgy ass jokes along with anagrams of his name in that stupid diary of his— he probably thinks of himself as the pinnacle of hilarity along with being the greatest dark wizard who ever lived, hes like that boss who makes lots of cringe jokes and laughs afterwards then your forced to laugh aswell because you don't wanna get fired(do the DES actually find the jokes funny or is it just because it's Voldemort who's telling them? Guess we'll never know)

Also,

Harry thought Tom was being serious for a minute and asking a question but Tom was genuinely fucking around In every way he just lowkey sucks In delivery LMDOEJSK

Also, Voldemort being dragged into a room of people(none of whom he likes) and the first thing he declares out loud is "Casting the impervious curse on everyone here would be deftly simple!" and everyone there just stops and stares at him like "????" And he laughs only to say something like "'Cease being so fretful, I am merely being humorous— unless..........."

Anyways, i could go on and on about scenarios like this LIKE let Tom/Vee be a little silly(murderously) He doesn't have to be serious/dark all the time!!!! Sometimes, he's just a jolly little fella who thinks he's the funniest person in the whole wide world(his murderous streak just adds to it, dont tell him the truth shhhh!)

Not silly at all, I don’t have many but you’ll probably see when you’re done reading this that I have more for certain members than others 😭

Steph: she has freckles like totally sunkissed freckles that scatter all across her body. I feel like she tans but has more of a rosy tan instead of a deeper color. She loves children, because well…but anyways I think she would dye her hair and have tinsel in them for a sparkle or a hint of color. Roller derby. I loveee to headcanon that she’s amazing at it and enjoys the sport. Oh and piercings I love to think that she wears tons of chunky jewelry. Has big curly hair that she didn’t know how to take care of when she was younger. Loves hanging out with Barbara and sneaking into Kates place to bother her or ask for advice.

Cass: I know it’s canon but she loves to do ballet. She loves to spar with her siblings especially the younger ones because she likes to share her skills and teach them what she knows in a healthier way than she was taught. Wears Chinese tunics that are gifted from her mother. Wears a mixed of gold and silver jewelry. Goes to therapy…can’t cook like at all it astounds her how a simply thing can be hard. Knits 😭 or does some sort of craft like knitting or pottery.

Tim: uses a silly straw when drinking his energy drinks (he isn’t a coffee addict yall) he listens to all sorts of music and has a messed up playlist. He can sit and work on something without moving for hours (couldn’t be me) I don’t think he’s a party person sorry but I don’t know if he does the entire party scene, but he LOVES having friends over and then partying with them. Skate boards to work 😭

Duke: he is the most cunning in a way. His favorite color isnt even yellow 😭 I’m kidding but that would be funny. The criminals are afraid of him they see him coming in the day??? Oh hell no. He can play the piano and is very good at it. Him and his mother used to teach him. He can cook and he cooks with Damian, he was the one who initiated it. He’s extremely extremely respectful to woman. He likes watching old western movies when he was little he was a cowboy for Halloween. Has locks and teaches his family (the ones with curls) ways to keep their hair healthy. He collects playing card but like yugioh cards and other stuff like that, he loves sailor moon and old 90s anime.

Damian: he can sing very well 😭 idk why but if he can mimic voices perfectly I feel like he can sing. When he has an argument with Bruce or anyone in the family he will leave and fly away with Goliath or Wiggles, sometimes even having them “attack” said family member but it’s only like them flopping on the person. Had a pet tiger in the league (it was Talia’s) and played with the cubs. Since his hair is getting longer I want to say that Nika or a friend gets him claw clips as a joke but he actually wears them. He can play instruments and likes to do graffiti sometimes. Wears ONLY gold jewelry. He has matching outfits with him and Talia 😭 if he gets into a relationship he’s not the one breaking up with them because he loves HARD. And like Duke he pulls his hair and when he lets others do it for him it’s like a great achievement 😭😭

Jason: he’s a loser. I mean it I think he’s so recluse and likes to huddle into the library and read. He’s big hulking even and loves to use that to his advantage when he’s being annoying to his siblings by lying on them. Struggles to find clothes his size so he wears the ugliest lounge clothes. Loves reality tv or any cheesy movie.

Dick: grows his hair out and every time he does a sudden chop the family looks at him with fear and disgust like how children do when their father shaves their face 😭 HE CAN COOK I know he can cook. Also wears chunky jewelry but doesn’t have a set style. Watches old footage of him and his parents acts and cries everytime. Visits zitka. I like to think he still performs on his down time or at least practice and keeps up the skill of being an acrobatic performer.

We are the denizens of the wonderous world we all know and love. And we have all gathered here to speak with you! Got anything you desire to say, ask, or send our way? Do it anytime you wish, and we shall respond - through our voices! - We are voice acting enthusiasts, some of whom, you may have already heard in some Rain World fan projects. You can send anything at a character - images, art, questions, ideas, videos, whatever you wish! And the character shall react - just like in any other askblog. But the difference is not just that we use voiceovers to answer (instead of art), but that the process is fully collaborative. As the VAs of the characters all have full creative control over what they say, instead of following the standard practice of one person writing/deciding everything.

Important things to note (please read before submitting):

Watcher spoilers are allowed, but will be tagged appropriately, mainly to account for the heavily delayed console release. (The creatures/characters of the DLC are also available to be played by VAs, though none of them have been taken yet. This post will be updated with spoiler tags if/when that happens)

When you send us something, make it abundantly clear which character you're addressing. You're allowed to address multiple, or even the entire cast.

NSFW submissions are not allowed. Mildly suggestive ones are fine, but they will not get a response, if the character you're addressing has a minor as its VA, or an adult that would be uncomfortable with it.

This project is fully non-canon. VAs are allowed to use headcanons and personal interpretations when answering. It's also not really meant to be serious, so feel free to send us silly stuff :3

The person primarily running this project and blog is me, @fadebolt. If you wish to voice act a character yourself, shoot me a DM, either here, or in Discord (my name is also 'fadebolt' there, and I'm in the main RW server, so finding me should be easy). There's absolutely no limit with the characters you could ask to VA. Slugcats (including Nightcat, as a separate character from Watcher), iterators, ancients, echoes, scavengers, any other species... they're all available! We also aren't limiting ourselves to just the base game. Characters from Downpour, characters from mods, OCs, and non-canon characters in general are also available (though if you're planning to VA a character owned by someone else, then make sure to consult them first). The other characters, whose VAs have also stepped back, are No Significant Harassment, Sliver of Straw and Gazing Stars. So we're looking for new folks to fill in those roles, too! Just... don't ask for characters who are already taken. Asking to be a backup is fine (in fact, backup VAs would be more than welcome), but we're not stripping anyone of their role, just because someone else asked for it as well. This post will be regularly updated, with the list of all the taken characters, and their VAs. Characters who are not on the list do not have VAs, and are fully open.

More Lore (theres alot and im just simplifying it) :

She is actually a quarter klingon on her mothers side so not fully Terran, she knows the Klingon language fluently, follows Kahless teachings (to an extent, since due to her being also Polish she also follows Catholicism) and knows quite alot about her Klingon heritage such as the culture, rituals, literature ETC ETC Sadly, it's not visible at all that she's a Klingon since when she was very young she had surgery to remove forehead ridges and all that (which looked similar to the ones Torres has in Voyager) to make her look human (also im aware that this doesn't probably follow the star trek canon, but it's my au and I just want to have fun with Kilngons)

(Lil random facts about Merica) He not only knows Klingon fluently, but also English, Polish and Russian (and some vulcan too because her brother married a vulcan and knows some vulcan because of him), has a similar type of patriotism like Chekov where she will claim something was invented in Poland, but which has actual basis in reality (They and Chekov got into multiple shouting matches about if Vodka was invented in Poland or Russia) they practically speak to Chekov in Russian only, got court martialed when they were in their mid 20s (if that didn't happen,they would had been a commander at the start of the 5 year mission on the Enterprise) plays on the saxophone (though rarely plays to a group of people since she's shy about performing) her favourite music genres are Soul and Jazz, specifically mid and late 20th century Soul and Jazz, and also loves karaoke even though he isnt the best at singing, hes a smoker due to the fact it calms her down temporarily since she gets stressed out and pissed off easily (is the type of mf to tell someone to put the vape down and immediately offer a cigarette to them) she is fully aware its not good for her but they don't care, quite outgoing and bubbly especially when it comes meeting new people though can be quite loud, absolutely loves history and politics, is very knowledgeable on intergalactic relations within the federation and on old earth politics too, could go on days yapping about old earth history such as communism overall, the ussr, the cold War, British politics in the 80s to 90s, the eugenic wars, the winged hussars etc etc she's a massive nerd when it comes to politics and history (her and kirk love infodumping and yapping about history for hours) the type of mf to drink a black coffee and smoke a pack of cigarettes for breakfast, she loves to mediate since it calms her down and tries to mediate 30 minutes minimum per day, has emotional problems which means she mostly feels the extreme sides of emotions (eg: if she's angry, half of the time she'll feel rage instead) or is numb to them, she is used to controlling her emotions but if she gets overwhelmed or overstimulated she will flip out, her and bones stared off as friends in the beginning of the five year mission on the Enterprise but during the middle of it (probably like mid season 3 or late season 2) they get together, it's a slow burn relationship (they could had ended up together sooner but she hates expressing her feelings, especially any romantic ones so she just bottles them up, very healthy I know), they got married after the events of TMP and grow old together (me when I lie) uhhhhhhhhhh

similar to EJs part you two sometimes sit and rank a bunch of the slashers though its less of a "whos the best" and a "whos the most attractive"

oh hes 100% going to copy some of the violence he sees when hes out doing his... whole thing...

doesnt have a favorite slasher or movie, he thinks theyre all neat and have their own charms

seems to have a soft spot for the elm street and childs play movies thanks to some of the humor they slipped in, will quote some of the lines

laughs at the sheer stupidity of some of the characters in the film for doing something that inevitably gets them killed

tries to be sneaky like some of the slashers without using his clown powers, hes... not very good at sneaking but you pretend you didnt notice him coming up from behind

he subconsciously makes notes of the gore in the movie and WILL talk about it when its over, whether it was accurate or not

i feel like he would be a bit of stickler for details like that, if something is inaccurate hes going to get hung up on it

i can see him being a fan of slasher movies, actually, especially when he was still just some normal dude- any gore gripes he has are usually overshadowed by the work that went into it

probably has a few slasher shirts and hes willing to let you borrow them every now and then as long as you return them eventually!

you might be able to convince him to do a matching costume for him when halloween rolls around- though its unlikely youll get him to go out and show off with you... maybe... if you have him still wearing a mask

And bathing, we all know besides nami robin and sanji the rest barely shower and when they do they just miss each other

She let Zeff cut her hair once when she was younger and cried afterwards because he cut way too high and had to deal with the emotional fall out of that because it reminded Sanji of her mom's. It's easier to maintain so she just keeps it short. Zeff is surprised she still lets him cut it but he guesses it's already short so he can't fuck it up much more. She wears suits and as she grows up as one of the guys and while she has her own room it's not much and she still has to get used to waking up shitty men in their bunk room because they're running late to prep and shit.

Between, the hair, the suits, the smoker's voice, and the barely A cups she has she's so androgynous. The regulars know, Mihawk who's had her cook his food and serve his wine and Garp who is passing through. After Sanji joins the crew and they defeat Arlong and Sanji is being shown around she doesn't care and just flops in a bunk to sleep. Maybe Sanji doesn't notice at first because she's mostly called Black Leg but she's being referred to as a boy, is being sent to the boy's quarters, is being called mister. She just shrugs it off as it keeps happen.

When they get the Thousand Sunny Sanji still doesn't move into the women's room, there's just more room in the mens room so she's in there, doesn't question it still. When she's in Kamabakka and going through bridal training Ivankov calls her candy boy she is straight up frowning at them and asking what they mean. She's a girl. She gets like B cups after the TS and Ivankov has tried to convince her to stuff her bra or something. She grows her hair out to shoulder length. I think it'd still be hilarious if after the TS no one still knows until Zou/WCI/Wano.

Like on Zou Sanji doesn't confirm or deny anything just promises she'll come back. Everyone is confused about the Princess thing and so when they go get her. She's in dresses through out all of WCI and during the escape as Judge is shit talking her and Luffy is confused about Judge saying all the best things about her and calling her a girl? Sanji says she is a girl, has been since she was born. Chopper knew but didn't disclose it because he thought Sanji was trying to keep it a secret. In Wano it's Luffy running around to all his crew calling Sanji a princess and a girl and has been the whole time they've been sailing.

They're all staring at Sanji, dressed like the men in her yukata as she stares back and tries to get them to answer why none of them except for Chopper knew. She thought she was in the men's room because of her smoking, did she actually have to be in there? Nami and Robin assure her she can move to the women's room. Nami is very excited to play dress up.

so i assumed ichiban was a beast like kiryu but just had his own moral code that just so happened to make him look weaker than he actually is, and i still think that but i also feel like by now they shouldve given us a scene of him either letting loose or showed us a glimpse of how strong he actually is?

the fight with majima and saejima would've been a great chance for that, in the last cutscene before arakawa and daigo come in they could've had a moment where ichi makes majima falter or takes saejima by surprise or something, and have them quickly and wordlessly acknowledge his strength by taking a stance and getting ready to "take things seriously" before getting interrupted by arakawa- and before you say "but nishitanis-left-nut, thats what happened in the scene" listen- what i mean is specifically ichiban getting a good hit in on either of the jimas and THAT being the catalyst for the shift in the fight

ichibans party is important to the overall plot and what not but i really feel like the game doesnt prioritize him as the protagonist in a lot of the cutscenes? you couldve gone into that fight with any combination of ichibans friends so why not give the final blow in the fight to him in the cut scene right after you win so that the victory does something for ichibans character? but it just hard cuts to majima wiping some blood from his mouth and then arakawa walks in before him and saejima can lock in

i get ichiban isn't kiryu but i thought they were setting him up to be an equally competent fighter that just so happened to enjoy fighting in his own way, and that involved getting his ass handed to him on purpose, kind of like a mix of what majima and kiryu get out of fighting and how they view it i mean look at him he does the majima pose and everything (im taking out the screenshots of him doing the majima pose cuz tumblr keeps saying this post needs a warning which no it doesn't????? the only thing i can think of that would warrant that is that hes shirtless in the picture but like its extremely sfw???)

alright so uh, ive had this draft for a while and now that ive played a bit more by "let loose" i didnt mean i wanted to see him just senselessly beat up a man and have to be forcibly stopped from bashing his head in. he also got his ass handed to him by kiryu so we still havent really gotten a glimpse of how strong he supposedly is. under all the smiles and cheesy one liners ichibans a lose cannon with a really short fuse which is a pretty cool concept if they keep exploring it honestly

idk the action cut scenes in this game are also kinda weird, i think the most memorable so far for me were actually the ones in the fight with sawashiro after he kills the seiryu clan patriarch, him just fuking being so overtly dramatic through the whole thing was really fun to watch (also the majima and saejima combo attacks cuz theyre silly and theyre them)

the riddle ship trifecta...

i enjoy them bc i think riddle really needs a calm presence in his life that makes him feel like he can act in ways he never had the freedom to do before, without feeling judged or made fun of. whether that is acting childish and silly or just expressing emotion freely. he's obviously really sensitive to being teased so he needs someone who is ok with that and just finds joy in his joy.

i relate to this a lot bc i myself am a very sensitive person, and get emotional really easy but im also very cynical and dry, so i think ppl see that contrast and find it funny. which is fine, but i get hurt or annoyed really easily by teasing bc i think what i really want is for someone to see how easily i get emotional (like crying at almost every movie i watch) and rather than seeing it as smth weird and funny, they recognize my empathy as something good. i want someone to see the value and worth in my emotions, no matter how trivial they seem.

and i think riddle needs that too. deuce isnt super smart but i think he's really earnest and riddle would appreciate that about him. he shows a lot of self awareness in recognizing how his past actions hurt his mom, and realizing he needs to be proactive if he wants to be a better person. very few ppl are willing to admit when they are the problem. he's just a very soft guy, but like, passionately soft. he wants so bad to be good. and i think he would want so badly for riddle to be happy, it would become really important to him just like his mom's happiness.

malleus is super honest about his intentions, which i think riddle needs bc his lack of social skills leave him anxious. he probably would get too frustrated having to play games and guess feelings. malleus just has a super calming presence and riddle needs that so bad. i think they are both pretty awkward bc of their upbringing so maybe they could find comfort in each other, knowing there's no judgement.

azul is none of these things lol 😂 i do NOT think these 2 would be a perfect healthy couple but i enjoy their dynamic. riddle is sensitive ofc but hes also super smart which is why i like the thought of them together. the two top students, not really in a competitive way, more like they recognize each other's weaknesses but also highly respect each other. to the point that they wouldnt ever make a move against the other. i could see them having a more loving relationship but in my mind they are more like a power couple lmao. like two powerhouses joining forces. i do think seeing riddle trying to overcome his own trauma and be a nicer person could inspire azul to do smth similar, realizing that if he likes and respects riddle, there must be some value in kindness without reward.

none of these would be canon in the AT au unfortunately, at least not in my mind (you can do whatever you like with it tho, it also doesnt mean i wont still talk/draw about it). there would definitely still be interactions among them with plenty of room for interpretation. obviously the most between deuce and riddle bc they are both HL.

i could see an episode where riddle recruits deuce to help him repair one of the elephant guardians (since deuce is good at repairing stuff) and they become closer. bc deuce used to get up to a lot of trouble he also has a lot knowledge of some of the rougher parts of the kingdom (im referring to deuces former crew as the spoiled fruit gang) and probably accompanies riddle when he needs to go there. riddle might sometimes go to deuce for advice on his relationship w his mother, since deuce is close w his mom. it would be cute if deuces mom came to really adore riddle and gave him a lot of the experiences he didnt get w his own mother.
