𝐃𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 ‘𝐓𝐢𝐜𝐜𝐢’ 𝐓𝐨𝐛𝐲 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐨𝐧𝐬*ೃ༄
tw: mention of manic episode.
: ̗̀➛ Back to source
My god.
This boy is full of so much love.
Y’all take FOREVER to actually get together.
It got to the point where Toby got frustrated and was all like “should I just kill them?” (Assuming you ain’t a proxy)
What I’m tryna say is he’s sorta oblivious to his feelings towards you.
But he’s so scared to get attached to you, cuz every time he’s ever gotten close to someone they die.
But when y’all (finally) get together after a long ahh slow burn.
YOU TWO ARE LITERALLY THE CUTEST OMD.
He was so surprised that you said yes when he asked you out. Like- you? The pretty girl who he had the the pleasure of becoming friends with???? Says yes to him????
He’s so happy
Buttttttttttttttt.
So awkward it’s almost painful.
Onetime you kissed him on his cheek, bro was all like ‘🧍’
But when you guys get past that awkward stage? You guys are practically attached to the hip.
And I know most of the fandom hates the ‘soft Toby’ stereotype, but I feel like that’s just how he is w you (though he does have his moments…)
Lots of reassurance. It’s needed if y’all wanna last.
He isn’t used to have someone be so affectionate towards him. Since deadass the only person who’s showed him genuine love was Lyra.
When y’all first met, he’d always wear a massive ass bandage over the gash on his cheek.
Every time you saw it you gave him the ‘🤨’ look, which he’s just shrug it off. And when you’d ask him about it, he’d say something like:
“It’s ruh-rude to ask t-that.”
He’d even continue wearing it INTO your dating life, he’ll eventually cave in since it’s been around 8 months of him wearing it around you. And a wound would normally be healed by now.
He wasn’t at all surprised by your reaction of shock.
He’ll always have it on out of the apartment though. No exceptions.
He calls you ‘pretty thing’ sm it becomes a tic.
Eskimo kisses? Eskimo kisses.
He try’s his best to keep the whole murder part of his life away from you. But it’s obvious so… that was one long night of going over things.
Anywaysssss.
AQUARIUM DATES! Y’all get in your grandpa jumpers and walk around the aquarium holding hands and looking at all the cool fish n’ shit.
HE LOVES LOVES LOVES NECK KISSES.
He’s a slut for knowing he’s yours.
He loves teasing the shit outta you for being short. Even though he’s like 3 inches taller
“I’ve been b-breaking my buh-back k-k-kissing you, babe.”
“Piss off.”
He loves laying between your legs with his face flushed against your chest while you run your fingers through his hair and itch his scalp.
When you guys are sleeping, you’ll constantly have to make sure he doesn’t get too over headed or cold due to his CIPA.
Speaking of sleeping, he grinds his teeth while he’s dreaming. So just gently grab his chin to stop him. And he’s a deep ass sleeper so he won’t feel it lol.
He isn’t a big fan of PDA when you guys aren’t behind closed doors, but he’ll ALWAYS hold your hand.
On the less sappy note, when he’s having a tic attack he will not allow you to come near him. He’s so scared of hurting you.
And when he’s having an episode?
Make sure you stay calm. And maybe get to him before he gets to you. He’ll be so upset if he did hurt you while going through one of his schizophrenic like states.
To help him through his manic episode, stay as calm as you can, let him know that, although you don’t share the belief that it’s real, you understand that it is real to him. Try and keep focused on supporting him with how hes feeling in that moment, rather than confirming or challenging his reality.
If he does snap at you, he’ll feel so guilty. He will think that he’s just like his dad.
He’ll probably disappear for a few days, but when he comes back he’s begging for you to not leave him. Like he’s full on sobbing.
Hold him.
He’s clingy. Like super clingy. Clingy to the point where it just becomes obnoxious. And gets a bit irritating but he means well :(
He loves you like a dog, and he’ll do anything for you. He trusts you with his whole being and hopes you feel the same.

How Hand Jumper Treats Gender
Most of the manga/manhwa I read default to the male gaze. I don't even mean that the female characters are needlessly sexualized, which they often are, but that they're only allowed to fill certain roles. Holy figures and healers are (young, impossibly beautiful) women, the tragic, innocent character who gets assaulted is a woman, the skimpily dressed ninja is a woman, the pure, younger sibling that needs protection is a woman, the seductive villain is a woman, the extremely powerful fighter that will nonetheless always be second in strength to the male lead is a woman. Upskirt shots and carefully framed ass/boobs panels abound. Their characterization can be shallow: especially in action and thriller series, the motivations of female characters are rarely given the same consideration that male characters receive.
Hand Jumper is different. First, female characters are taken just as seriously as male ones, in every way possible. Second, a character's gender does not influence their power level. While it's true that cis men are physically stronger than cis women in the real world, "men are always stronger than women" does not make sense in fantasy action contexts. Why are all the most powerful heroes in My Hero Academia men? Why must all the notable healers in Naruto be female ninja? In worlds where people possess honest to God magical superpowers, power is totally divorced from the density of your muscles. This is true of Hand Jumper's world as well, so it treats its characters appropriately: Male and female Aberrants fight on equal ground. As a result, some of the most prestigious Aberrant positions are held by women: Samin is the leader of the Crimson Society, Cell 4's instructor and mentor are both women, and Sayeon's mother Sara is so mysterious and so powerful that she seems close to godly. Sara's treatment is especially interesting, given that she's filling a role usually reserved for men: the mysterious, legendary parent of the protagonist who left their life when they were still a child. Think Gon's father in HxH, Baki's father in Grappler Baki, Naruto's father, the Joestars in JoJo, or Luffy's father in One Piece. In Hj, it's not the mother, but the father who is drowned out in the shadow cast by his spouse.
Personalities, fantasy power levels, and interests are not inherently gendered! So Hand Jumper doesn't treat them as gendered either. The bubbly, cheerful member of the main group is usually a girl, but this time it's Iseul Kim. The pretty, androgynous Min is both a deadly weapon and a baker of cute pastries- he picks up Sayeon in a bridal carry after a fight, and incredibly, it's not framed as a romantic gesture. Lastly, the aggressive, jaded rival to the protagonist is usually male, but this time it's Ryujin Kang. This position being filled by a female character is so unusual that I remember the comments section being filled with people mistaking Ryujin for a boy, even though she was clearly presented as a woman from the start. Part of this confusion is probably fueled by how Ryujin has a lot of… tension with Sayeon, tension usually found in heterosexual enemy-to-lover relationships. And Sayeon herself? She's on a crusade to avenge her childhood friend, a damsel in distress who died in Episode 2. Somehow, in Hand Jumper, the tragic dead lover that needs avenging is a man.
#hand jumper#women in comics#manhwa/manga writing needs to be held at a higher standard#I firmly believe sayjin is canon#male characters also suffer from how they are restricted in manga/manhwa#esp how they are often characterized as cool and invulnerable and nothing else#maybe I should finally read worm#webtoon

Whose POV is it Anyway?
The Dirty Donkey, I think I found *Clue!*
DO NOT ASK NEIL ABOUT FAN THEORY
Continuing with my analysis of the changing POV's in Good Omens 2, let's take a look at the pub scene in the Dirty Donkey and the rest of episode 2!
For reference & context, I recommend reading these posts:
Whose POV is it Anyway? - Introduction
Lens Filters
POV "Your 'Something's Wrong' Voice"
POV a Trip to Hell and a 25 Lazarii Miracle
POV a Companion to Owls
When we first see Crowley in his tactical turtleneck, it's when Shax shows up at the Bentley. He is asleep in the car and his sideburns are long. Is this because he's being observed by Shax first in this scene so it's her POV? It's difficult to distinguish if the filter could be the BDFX Crowley filter or the BPM Hell filter, but if we're using the sideburn lengths as an indicator we can look at this initial scene as an external POV.
*Fun thing I noticed here: when Shax threatens Crowley the plants in the backseat start squealing and shaking because they're afraid lol.
Next we get to see Crowley and Aziraphale go to the pub! They never go to the pub! Aziraphale strokes the thin dark dukes chest, and is saved by his snusband from the scary carpet man. The entire scene inside the pub is warm and hazy and glowy AS HELL (well not as hell, that's a different filter) It's clearly filmed with the BGG filter and likely Aziraphale's POV, which makes sense, they talk about making people fall in love, romance, Jane Austen, Cotillion Balls, it's VEERRRYYY Aziraphale. Crowley's sideburns are long throughout and when the pair get up to leave it's because Aziraphale mentions he wants to show Crowley *the Clue*!
Crowley's response to this is: "I'm lost, am I doing a rainstorm?" nothing rude about the Capital C Clue, yet.
Then the scene cuts to a shot of them walking out of the pub and we have transitioned to Crowley's POV! The lighting has changed and is saturated and cool toned, Crowley's sideburns are short, and he IMMEDIATELY roasts Aziraphale,
"Whatever you found, don't call it a Clue... well don't pronounce the capital letter!"
spicy snek.
Even if you make the argument that they could have filmed these scenes on vastly different days, the continuity for the extras dress and placement was spot on the, as you can see from these shots of before and after the cut. Notice the extra in the red jumper near the door is there in both shots with the same group of people, nobody seems to have moved, and Crowley's sideburns are the only thing that very obviously changes length between these scenes.
Crowley and Aziraphale then head back into the bookshop.
We're back to the warm hazy tones of the BGG filter and Crowley's sideburns are long again. We've switched back to Aziraphale's POV. They get a prophecy of sorts from Gabriel, and Aziraphale goes to study his Bible and think for a while.
We next see Crowley Asking Nina about Sudden Rain.
His sideburns are short again, and the BDFX filter is back evidenced by the bright cool saturated tone of the scene, so we're in Crowley's POV. Aziraphale meets him at the Bentley and says he'd like to drive the car. We can hear Crowley even smacks Aziraphale's hand away, which if this was from Aziraphale's POV I'm sure is a detail that would've gone omitted!

Knock Knock Boys: A Queer Asian Lens
I didn't watch Knock Knock Boys as it was airing, because it didn't really seem like the kind of show I'd be into. However, this post by @lurkingshan and @waitmyturtles' enthusiastic recommendation convinced me to give it a shot. Having binged the entirety of the series in a day, I can say that the show was an absolute delight to watch.
I've seen plenty of people talking about how wonderfully sex positive the show was, so I'm not going to bother with going too much into it, but I will say that the drama clearly showed the kind of sex education and awareness that is desperately needed around the world. I also really liked how Lukpeach and Latte were the ones responsible for pretty much all of the sex education in the show. It was very realistic in that, in my experience, it's extremely common for teenagers and young adults to get a majority of their knowledge about sex from their friends and the internet. The show had a very clear message about the importance of talking freely about sex with younger generations, because the taboo on the topic only harms teenagers in the long run.
Now, besides that, there was one more issue that I thought the show did wonderfully: it showed how asian kids are often hesitant to discuss things with their parents because they assume the worst in the beginning. I'm having some trouble articulating this, because it's such an abstract, ingrained concept to me, so forgive me if this is incoherent. I'm also generalizing my experience as an Indian, so please do correct me if I'm wrong here. That being said, having been raised in a society that values respect and listening to elders without question, discussing alternate ideas with parents can be a very difficult thing for most of us. It's easy to assume what parents would say to an idea and decide that trying to convince them otherwise is a task that is either futile or requires too much energy.
The best way I can describe is that the mindset becomes "It's better to ask for forgiveness if you get caught instead of asking for permission straight away". For example, had Almond asked his mother if he could stay with three other guys, she would've most definitely flat out refused, since she would've had a lot of preconceived notions about the idea. But, because Almond is able to show her that he's happy as he was, she was perfectly fine with him continuing to stay with the others. I think that's the hallmark of most asian parents, they want us to be happy but they're convinced that they know what kind of life will make us happy. They did something similar with Peak and his father, but my feelings on that are a little more complex, so we'll come back to this.
Peak and Thanwa, man. I loved Latte and Almond but these two just stole the show for me. I know some people felt frustrated with Peak's dallying and hesitance, but I just felt so sad for him, and something about his situation just hit very close to home. And Seng, the actor that he is. One particular moment that stuck with me was the scene when he leaned against the door while Jumper attacked Max. I must've rewatched that moment half a dozen times, because his acting was impeccable. I will say, I wish that they'd given us a better resolution on the arc after Max, but those are mostly minor quibbles. What I really wanted to talk about was the arc with Peak's father. Peak gathering the courage to tell his father with the support from his found family was beautiful. The scene at Knock Knock House the day before Peak left was one of the most magnificent, emotionally charged scenes I've seen in asian ql in a while. Coming from a societ wherein arranged marriage is the norm, the storyline hit hard in all the right places.
But. I did not love the resolution of the arc. I think we've had some conversation about how some shows try to be both in the bubble and out of the bubble simultaneously, and the last two episodes of the show felt a little like that. From what we knew about the father, it felt almost too easy for him to simply accept everything right away. There should have been some struggle for reconciliation. I know that the show has a theme of assumptions and lack of communication disrupting parent-child relationships, but in this case how fast they move on just seems unrealistic. My cynicism aside, even if we assume that the father wasn't homophobic, there should've been more of a conversation on the breaking of the engagement! The social implications, the father asking him why he didn't say anything for so long, Jane's involvement (how did the father know that she knew about this?). The only argument I can see against this is that the father, while initially put off by the revelation, chose to act otherwise to support his son. But then, he most likely wouldn't have insisted they take his car. And there still should've been some sort of a conversation about the engagement. Arranged marriages have a purpose; it's to provide financial and social security. I find it extremely hard to believe that a father who arranged a marriage for his son wouldn't have so much as discuss the implications of being gay with him. They tried to have the engagement have consequences with the wedding banquet, but the resolution for that really only made it worse. This is cynical of me, but I simply cannot suspend my disbelief enough to believe that the entire wedding party was perfectly happy with the turn of events. This whole resolution just seemed out of place in a show that was otherwise so wonderfully grounded in reality while still being absolutely hilarious. I think, if the show had done something a little more similar to GAP, it would've felt more realistic.
All of that aside, I really did enjoy watching the show. It was hilarious and heartwarming, and the characters were absolutely wonderful. The resolution of the final arc did drag it down a little, but I would be lying if I said that watching two queer couples get to celebrate their relationships with their community didn't warm my heart at all (Also, side note- Jane having a girlfriend was a brilliant subversion). All in all, it's a great series. It definitely felt like something new and fresh compared to the kind of qls that I've been watching lately.
#look i know im being a little cynical about the ending#but when i came out to my mother (who is by all accounts and purposes one of the more progressive older people i know)#and asked her if she thought it was a phase#she said yes and confirmed that i was still attracted to men#because living as a queer person is extremely hard in india#and that's not to mention the numerous lectures ive had to sit through on the importance of marriage#so...yeah#i did really love the show though#feel free to argue/add on i'd love to have more conversation on this#especially because i had a lot of trouble articulating myself for this#so some of what i wanted to write didn't come through#but im tired now#knock knock boys#whoops sorry accidentally deleted a chunk of this trying to fix a spelling mistake#its back now

okay, OKAY, hear me out! hear me out- wally x a reader who is often down or sad. just think about it. roll it around your brain.
ahhhh thank you for sending in this ask because i am having the roughest sort of week...i hope this helps cheer you up a little 🥰
Wally Darling x Reader Who is Often Down or Sad headcanons
💖 you're no stranger to depression, and this can be difficult for your Welcome Home neighbours to understand. although Frank's grouchiness and Poppy's anxiety are met with affection and kindness, it's often baffling to your new friends what's gotten you so down, or why you don't want to come outside and 'shake off the blues'. you can't stay mad at your pals, as you know they only want to help, but the perpetual happiness grinds away at you and just makes you want to stay in bed. the only one who seems to actually understand is Wally. whenever he sees your friends unintentionally giving you a hard time, he playfully bats them away, telling them to give you space. when you're both out of their earshot, Wally tells you, "Smiling is nice, but it isn't always the right answer. I hope they never have to learn that."
💖 the first time Wally encounters you in a depressive episode, he doesn't try to coax you into fake happiness, or drag you to do an activity. you're curled up under a blanket on the floor, tears clogging your nose and collecting in a puddle under your cheek. you don't know how long you've been there - just that the shadows out of your peripheral vision have moved considerably, and the glare of the sun is no longer on the back of your neck. Wally enters through the back door - you'd given him a key for emergencies - and doesn't ask what's wrong. instead, he sits down next to you, starts humming a sweet and simple tune: something you recognise, but can't quite place. it's the same song over and over, and each time the tune reaches its natural end, Wally pauses, waiting for you to speak up. although you don't have the energy to reply, you're grateful that Wally gives you the opportunity 💙
💖 the ways Wally checks in on you make you feel safe and loved. when you haven't been out of the house for the day you'll always wake up the next morning to find a gift basket full of goodies from Howdy's store on your doorstep, complete with a get-well note from Wally covered in his doodles. on colder evenings, Wally drops by with an extra jumper or blanket; the two of you will cosy up under your layers while Wally recounts silly stories told to him by Barnaby. most often though, when you're drifting from room to room in search for something, anything to occupy your mind: you'll catch sight of Wally through the window. whether he's out playing with the other puppets or gazing dreamily through Home's own windows, Wally always smiles when he catches your eye, and gives you a thumbs-up. sometimes, that's all you need to get you through the rest of the day 🌈✨

I enjoyed watching the Game and the Ark together because they stand in contrast to each other as the best and worst of Sheppard and McKay.
In the Game we see McKay's arrogance and Sheppard's aggression unmitigated by any of their other virtues spread through a whole culture. Both of them are plagued with stubbornness and unwillingness to see the other side of the picture. Sheppard and McKay have to work overtime to try and keep their worst sides from hurting each other. I think this is a major part of their friendship.
McKay has almost no friends because he's so hard to work with. It's shown in such a hysterical way when Nola refuses to believe that Baden's citrus fruit is anything but an insult.
Sheppard too struggles in the friend department because he's aggressive and doesn't follow the rules. Baden actually cheats at the game and orders the attack on Nola and her people. This shows Sheppard as a man who, mostly before the responsibilities of Atlantis settle on his shoulders, might have just been a bit too quick to pick a fight.
Oddly, McKay finds a friend in Sheppard, and Sheppard a friend in McKay. They are proof that Nola and Baden aren't one dimensional, and can not only get along but thrive together.
(Also, I will always love Sheppard beating McKay at chess at the end and I will always love LORNE! and Radak playing the game.)
The Ark stands in total contrast to the Game. It is Sheppard and McKay's qualities dialed up. It is Sheppard talking McKay down from panic, calming Ronon with a promised fight to the death, knowing Atlantis (LORNE!) will come for them, fighting to save his team, and then willingly sacrificing himself for Teyla. The look on his face when he's breaking through the door is gold. He is a determined man ready to kill if you touch his people, which you did, so prepare to die.
The episode ends with Sheppard reiterating yet again that he would willingly give his life for any of them, even McKay.
Rodney is also at his best. Excited to explore, quick on his feet, comes up with solutions, listens to Sheppard, tries to save everyone, and tries to talk Sheppard out of risking his life. I love the moment he tells Lorne he's not going back to the Jumper because they don't leave their people behind, and Lorne gently agrees and explains that he's not leaving anyone behind.
Rodney may be quick to panic and quick to tell you how you're going to die, but he too will do anything for his team.
Watching these two episodes back to back is great because of the contrast they provide. Sheppard and McKay at their worst and then Sheppard and McKay as they are, which are two men who have worked against their worst traits for the sake of others.
...and next is Sunday. Big, sad sigh.

Pt. 2. TBB Headcannons they probably deserve.
I have to say, from someone who thinks they’re invisible on tumblr, the reaction to my Hunter Headcannons was a pleasant surprise!
So here’s some Headcannons on Tech. (And yes, I haven’t finished the Bad Batch or watched THAT Tech episode, but the internet has told me already. [I dread the day I shall meet that doom 😭]).
But anyway - Tech!
Can’t make coffee/caf if he tried. But oversees anyone who makes it regardless. In silence. The Batch isn’t sure if he’s trying to learn or is judging them heavily. Or both.
Listens to synthwave/techno music to relax AND to learn new things. Hence he has a very strong association between certain songs and skills he’s learned. Don’t ask. You won’t hear the end of it.
Sings his times tables. Needs to do multiplication on the spot? Speed sings those bad boys under his breath until he gets to the right sum.
Likes and would absolutely wear chunky/cable-knit jumpers. The more textured, the better. Also absolutely would collect the things. Some of his sweaters give Hunter sensory reactions. Sometimes, if Tech is feeling like being a little sh$t, he wears them around Hunter on purpose.
Dresses casually in formal situations. In fact, has never ever dressed formally unless it’s in his armor. It took both Hunter, Crosshair and Wrecker to get him into a tie ONCE.
HOWEVER, gives the best fashion advice.
Braids hair very well. Does it like he’s defusing a bomb however. Interpret at will.
Can play the harp.
Is a tosser when he sleeps. Also only likes to sleep on his side. Unfortunately tossing means he gets rid of his blankets unintentionally - but that doesn’t stop him from being irritated if a sleep-migrated Hunter commandeers said lost blankets.
When the Batch celebrate Christmas, Tech runs the placement of decorations like an army commander. Until Omega decides to help. He’ll let her decorate whatever and however she likes, even if it causes him pain that the perfectly-replicated-patterns are disrupted.
Speaking of Omega, when she was little, Tech would let her sit on his lap while he worked. He’d tell her what he was doing as he went. Omega loved it - even if she didn’t always understand.
I just like soft dad Tech, alright.
#Tech loves his little helper Omega#of course Omega learned to dissect the internals of starships from Tech#I just think Tech’s a loveable nerd okay#the bad batch tech#the bad batch#star wars#the clone wars

Hey Ace 👋
Do you have any good Rodney whump fics or Ronan whump fics to recommend
I am only like half way through season 2 of Atlantis but I think I spoiled most of the show for myself through the whumpy gifs and videos I see everywhere lol
(P.S may we see a pic of your cat? 👉👈)
Hiya!! Ooh I love Rodney and Ronan whump. Yeah let me see what I can find for ya.
Rodney Whump:
Desperate Measures By: angw Stuck in a mine shaft Rodney has to make a choice to survive.
Four Times Rodney McKay Got Shot Saving the Day By: LinziDay Four times Rodney McKay got shot saving the day and one time he didn't .
Guppy By: GateBiscuit Rescuing McKay from the lost, leaky Puddle Jumper was the easy part. Tag to Grace Under Pressure. Team fic
Reason #1 Why Rodney Likes Food By igiveup101 “Fine,” Rodney gave in, shoulders slumped. “But you’ll be sorry when I’m dying of hypoglycemic shock.” OR Sheppard and the team agree to sit and reflect for a few hours. It goes, predictably, horribly awry.
Soldiering On By: LilRicki In which Rodney gets severely whumped but is still awesome enough to save the team from certain doom.
Candle in the Dark By: Sholio An accident leaves Sheppard and McKay a little too dependent on each other.
Hypoglycaemia By: Alipeeps Hypoglycaemia or low blood glucose is a condition in which the level of glucose sugar in the blood, drops below a certain point... Special request fic written for McKayRocks! Featuring McKay and Shep whumpage in abundance.
Ronon Whump:
Silent Sacrifice by Daring Duo - John, Rodney, and Ronon try to survive after crash landing on an unexplored planet. Their injuries and lack of supplies begin to take their toll as they wait to be rescued.
Red Sands by kirsten999 - Stranded on a harsh, desolate world, John and Ronon learn that merely surviving is only half the fight.
Finding Home by LadyShelley - Free of the Wraith, Ronon must decide if he is going to stay in Atlantis or leave to seek vengeance alone. While still trying to make up his mind, he and Rodney are trapped in one of the city’s towers, and each starts to learn more about the other as they wait for someone to find them.
A Light In Dark Places by LordVaako - Where was Ronon? Carson’s head felt like a boulder had dropped on it. The low ringing in his ears, coupled with a throbbing headache, made him touch his temple. He removed his fingers and inhaled in surprise at the crimson smears. ** Ronon is sent to bring Carson back to Atlantis, but the good doctor wants to spend more time with a village’s healer. When the village is attacked, Ronon and Carson are badly injured. They must rely on each other to get back to the Stargate.
Red Sands by kristen999 - Stranded on a harsh, desolate world, John and Ronon learn that merely surviving is only half the fight.
Febuwhump Day 1: touchstarved By Yesimevil After living for seven years as nothing more than a hunted animal, settling back into a form of society was… difficult, to say the least. Ronon suddenly became overwhelmed with people and things and safety, and no idea what the hell he was supposed to do with any of it, and from his inability to hold a conversation to the alien feeling of a toothbrush in his hand, he supposed that he had, in a way, forgotten how to be human.
Whumptober 2022 day 31: a light at the end of the tunnel By Yesimevil Takes place after Broken Ties. Ronon struggles to recover from the events of the episode, but his friends are there for him.
And yes I'd love to share a picture of my kitty! Her name is Sable and this pic is from the last time I took her outside

July has been a month of ups and downs in that there have been some truly excellent shows for me to watch but there have also been plenty of let downs. It's also been a month where I've had more free time than usual thanks to my being on holiday and I've definitely taken advantage of that to cram in as many dramas as I mentally and physically can.
Anyway here's a song for the month (perhaps I listened to it so much to trick my brain into believing it's summer despite the constant rain) and let's get started!
4Minutes 🇹🇭👨❤️👨 [1/8]
What a strong start. I am seated and fully on board with wherever this drama wants to take me next. Something I really loved was how the first episode opened up so many questions with regards to various characters and their motivations and didn't just bank on the central plot device to build the intrigue (although there's plenty of intrigue there as well, and quite possibly already some answers). Yes I want to know about the seeing the future thing, obviously, but I also want to know about Great's relationship with his family, what kind of person Korn actually is, and why Tyme seems 5 kinds of jaded despite still being early in his career.
Battle of the Writers 🇹🇭👨❤️👨 [1/12]
This one.... I'm not sure about. Its selling point was (and still is) that it's fulfilling my wish to see Tutor and Yim as leads and, in that, it's doing very well indeed. But, I'm not going to lie, the only reason it's here instead of in the "dropped" pile is because I try to give every show 2 episodes before making a decision. It's not that there's anything wrong with it (it genuinely seems like a perfectly good show judging by the first episode) but I just don't think it's something that's going to be able to hold my interest and make me want to make the time I need to watch it.
Century of Love 🇹🇭👨❤️👨 [3/10]
I took a break from this one but I'm fully planning to catch up! I was enjoying it but I wasn't in the right head space for it at the time. I am now though so I'm going to rewatch the first 3 episodes and then hopefully be caught up in time for the last episode.
Knock Knock Boys 🇹🇭👨❤️👨 [10/12]
I am very attached to all the residents of the Knock Knock house but especially Latte, I 100% buy that he has no problems finding partners because he won my heart too. I also really like his and Almond's storyline, not just the romance (although that is very cute) but the things that built that romance up; the intimacy group, their friendship with Shawn and Jumper, their friendship, the careful handling of the hidden camera story arc... Some really good writing all around there. I'm a little less sold on Thamwa and Peak (despite them being the older characters their storyline feels less mature if that makes sense?) but I'm still enjoying them immensely.
Midnight Romance in Hagwon 🇰🇷👩❤️👨 [1/16]
I needed to take some time before I started watching this because I knew it was going to be such a rich watch. One episode in and it was already like eating a 3 course meal, there was so much to unpack and I am loving it. I know from @lurkingshan that this drama focuses much more on the education/Hagwon system than the titular romance and I also know that's not for everyone but, as someone who has a professional interest in the education system, that's more than okay with me and I'm curious to see what conclusions it comes to.
My Sweet Mobster 🇰🇷👩❤️👨 [14/16]
I'm really loving the main message of the show (restoration not perpetual punishment) and the vibrancy of the characters. The ex-cons are so much fun and the found family they make together is adorable and hilarious in equal measure. The central romance is pretty adorable too with the gruff-softie/feisty-with+heart combo, although it is probably the thing I'm least invested in as it's quite typical for a k-drama romance (I actually think I prefer the second couple thanks to their social taboo breaking). Overall it's been a fun ride and I'm going to miss it when it's done, I'd also definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoyed A Business Proposal (it gives off very similar vibes).
Sweet Home S3 🇰🇷 (👩❤️👨) [2/8]
I don't think any of the proceeding seasons could ever have hoped to live up to the masterpiece that was season 1, but, to be fair, I never expected them to. What made S1 outstanding was it's confined and cramped setting and how that was then used to explore the complexity of social relationships through the lens of monsters vs survivors. Once they left the apartment complex and opened up the world, they were never going to be able to maintain that in quite the same wau. Still, I'm enjoying S3 for what it is and I think it's going to be a good conclusion to the series.
The Trainee 🇹🇭👨❤️👨 [5/10]
This. Show. Is. Fantastic. It's the first time in a long time I've seen a drama treat the workplace seriously and not just as set dressing and so far it has hit all the right beats. Characters, comedy, themes, relationships, plots and subplots? All on point so far and developing so nicely in a well paced slow burn that it's obvious to me how much thought and care went into making this show. Also Gun is in equal measures cute, funny and relatable as Ryan and Jane is definitely Off's best and most crush-worthy character to date (which is great because that leaves Ink for me).
Lovestruck in the City 🇰🇷👩❤️👨
Lovestruck in the City was an incredibly ambitious drama, both in terms of its format (a semi-docu interview style mixed with a lot of flashbacks) and its central theme (an exploration of modern relationships, especially those coming to or after their end). I really wasn't expecting it and to say I was pleasantly surprised would be an understatement. However what started off as its strengths in the first half ended up becoming its weaknesses in the second; it wanted be and say too many things all at once and in the end what was innovative about it got lost in its attempts to still fit the typical romance k-drama mold.
⭐ rating: 7/10
Moonlit Winter 🇰🇷👩❤️👩📽️
I don't know how to describe this film other than quiet but with a lot to say. It doesn't shrink away from the harsh realities of growing up, falling in love and living in a society where part of who you are is treated like something dirty and the lasting trauma that inflicts, but it also offers solace and comfort and a quiet hope for healing and change. It broke my heart and healed it in so many ways and I'm going to be thinking about it for a long time to come and recommending it to whoever will listen.
⭐ rating: 8.5/10
I should start by saying that I drop dramas quite often and for a variety of reasons. I don't have to be not enjoying a show to drop it, I just have to not be enjoying it enough. This means that there are plenty of dramas in my dropped pile that I think are perfectly decent shows but which, at the same time, didn't pull me in enough within the first few episodes.
Love Sea 🇹🇭👨❤️👨👩❤️👩 [On Hold]
I thought Rak and Mut's storyline was great and I genuinely enjoyed their dynamic, even more so with all the meta around it. The very fact that this is "on hold" rather than straight up "dropped" is a testament to how much I am still taken with them. Unfortunately, however, Vi and Mook made me want to put my head through a wall every time they were on screen together and I couldn't, for my own sanity, keep watching a show where I was skipping half of each episode in a desperate attempt to escape even a glimpse of their scenes.
Red Swan 🇰🇷👩❤️👨 [Dropped]
I think I got to episode 3 or 4? It was very fast paced and there was plenty of intrigue and family plotting to keep me on my toes, which I did appreciate. It also did a great job of making me feel like something was actually at stake and that the protagonists weren't always going to win, which is pretty rare. Ultimately though, I have a lot of other dramas that I like a lot more and which are more to my taste in terms of genre and subject matter, so Red Swan gets the boot. I would consider picking it up again later though.
Serendipity's Embrace 🇰🇷👩❤️👨 [Dropped]
I found the first episode of this surprisingly boring, so much so that I spent a lot of it flicking through the news on my phone and didn't even consider watching the second. I'm glad that Chae Jeong Hyeop seems to be making a name for himself though. I really liked him in Love All Play and Castaway Diva (both of which I stuck with for longer than I normally would have for him btw), I guess now my hope is he gets some dramas that aren't quite so.... Middling.
Sunset X Vibes 🇹🇭👨❤️👨 [Dropped]
This is so very much not my style and I knew that going in but I was briefly led astray by how beautiful Bank and his outfits were.
Wandee Goodday 🇹🇭👨❤️👨 [Dropped]
I'm not going to go into loads of details because I've spoken enough about my feelings towards this drama. All I'm going to say is that it's the one that hurts the most to put here because I had such high hopes going into it. On the plus side, it's given me an OST to add to my playlist and 2 pairings I would quite like to see again.
Things have been relatively quiet on the K-dramas side of things these past few months but it finally looks like there's a number I'm looking forward to for August! Looks like I'm still going to have to wait for a K-BL to watch, however, I think the last one I watched was Love for Love's Sake and that was a depressingly long time ago now.
Monster Next Door 🇹🇭👨❤️👨 [Aug 8] ⭐
Romance in the House 🇰🇷👩❤️👨 [Aug 10]
Love Next Door 🇰🇷👩❤️👨 [Aug 17 ] ⭐ (being introduced to Jung Hae In through Something in the Rain means I am now automatically excited whenever he's in a drama).
The Paradise of Thorns 🇹🇭👨❤️👨 [Aug 22] ⭐
Cinderella at 2am 🇰🇷👩❤️👨 [Aug 24] ⭐ (Shin Hyun Been is also an automatic watch)
No Gain, No Love 🇰🇷👩❤️👨 [Aug 26]
I'm always open to recommendations so if there's an upcoming drama you think I might like, please let me know! Doubly appreciated if they're JBLs because I really want to break the stupid block I have with them.

Knock Knock Boys Ep 5 Stray Thoughts
Last week, we squarely sorted our housemates into two pairs and gave Almond a proper shake to make him get over Jumper. Almond spent the first chunk of the episode following Latte, and watched him give a talk to a club about pansexuality. He and Almond had a good moment after that, and Latte found himself getting jealous of Jumper at the barbecue they hosted later. Meanwhile, Thanwa is still looking for work but had an excellent moment with Peak in a closet where Peak apologized for taking a kiss from him earlier and asking for a new one. We left at Jane reentering the picture.
I do love their cold opens that are for a later scene in the episode. It feels so assured every time. I like the anticipation of paying attention to the moments so I know what that cold open is meant to provide as payoff.
I love Latte so much. He wakes up from sleeping on Almond and only gives a pleased smile about it. These two faking sleep are ridiculous. I know Almond was gonna toss his ass when the Now Kisstm moment started
Using the shirt to provide a barrier during a pratfall kiss is novel. I’m glad the first time their lips actually touch won’t be accidental, and that Latte got injured. We’ve only seen someone bleeding after a pratfall kiss in a few instances (Love Stage!! TH comes to mind).
Fiancée? I am ready for the drama.
These boys are nosy as hell!
The energy Jane gives off is so knowing. I am compelled.
Almond, the rich kid, took his shirt off to pretend to clean the walls with it after rolling away from the door. Incredible.
She is so ready to fight this man. They do not feel like they are romantically involved.
I feel bad for Thanwa. He’s staying out of the way, and even waited a bit for answers before calling.
Finally, someone acknowledged that every goddamn mosquito would be flying in through those open doors.
Morning wood in my BL? It’s more likely than you think.
Almond, we see you still smiling about what you saw.
I’m with Almond. I wouldn’t want to eat breakfast at this tense table. However, I am also with Latte just trying to get some food in before walking to class.
Thanwa feels so properly gay to me. He’s being so careful about being neutral in his interactions with Jane.
I don’t like Max.
I like Lukpeach taking her offense to their sexual health club and talking about how improper it is to film people’s private moments and post them for clout.
Almond, focus please!
These two have a fun dynamic. Almond is still clearly thinking about Latte’s dick, and I love Latte being upfront that he’s down to play if Almond wants.
An unfortunate t-shirt choice there, costuming department.
This framing with the bed scene is excellent. Thanwa is still willing to offer Peak shelter, but he’s made it clear that they can’t have any more closeness while this situation with Jane remains unresolved.
Yes, put on your glasses so you can see his back properly. This show is very good at communicating that the characters are feeling multiple things.
Baby’s first dildo!
I don’t think they’re talking about the job anymore, guys.
This boy is skipping home to use his new toy! I love that for him.
You’re gonna need more Vaseline than that, baby boy.
I really love that Almond is allowed to explore his body this way. He lucked out on his roommates, too. Latte was worried when he heard him scream, and I love him teasing Almond about helping. It’s so cool that Almond is made to feel like he is desirable in some way.
And now Jane is covering for Peak, and didn’t react much about Almond saying he kissed Thanwa. She knows.
Oh no. Almond, do not go check that locker room. You are gonna get your little heart broken.
Glad I called that Jumper was already with his friend.
Almond….no… You were just at a meeting about consent.
That’s interesting. I thought we would find out about Jumper and Shawn via the clip, not that Almond would have already seen them together.
Wow, that’s a difficult cliffhanger. You could see Latte pulling away from Almond.
The preview is not promising!
Wow, I was not expecting the show to go beyond the “don’t film people” PSA aside. Having Almond overstep that boundary in a moment of jealousy and be caught for it is ripe with tension. I like that it’s Latte who catches it first, because he’s been dealing with Almond overstepping boundaries with him for multiple episodes with him following him places and trying to see his dick. Even if there’s been brewing sexual tension between them, Almond has been very firm about saying no to Latte. To have him then film and post Jumper like this is egregious, but in line with his earlier behavior. I’m excited to see where we go with them. As for Thanwa, I love that he still likes Peak even if he’s holding on his own line as well. This show whips ass.

Bears, bears, bears! Bears everywhere! And Doctor Who bears at that, made specially for and presented by me to Paul McGann, Sophie Aldred and Sylvester McCoy at Portsmouth Comic Con.
As most of you probably know, I document my bear-making activities on here and I made an Eighth Doctor bear a couple of years ago, followed by a Seventh Doctor last summer. Ace was a new one, and because of that I ended up making two, the first as a prototype that I kept for myself, working out the details of the costume, particularly the jacket, and the second for Sophie.
Back in February when I decided to make Anne Bearleyn I found that my usual type of fur was unavailable so I had to go looking for another, ending up with something that while it looked lovely was fairly hellish to sew as it shed everywhere. It was all I had when it came to making the first Ace bear, however, and so I went with that. Afterwards, having got covered in fluff again, I tried to find something similar to the fur I’d used for most of my previous bears, but when it arrived and I started putting one together decided that when compared to the bear I’d just made it looked cheap and nasty, which was definitely not what I wanted for this particular project. Consequently that fabric went on a one way trip to the bin and I ordered more of the other stuff, resulting in what I’ve termed a ‘furpocalypse’ when I decided to cut and sew three more bears in one day:
I had to vacuum both the room and myself four times, and clean out the sewing machine twice! That fluff gets everywhere, even up your nose! It was worth it in the end, though, as the result looks so nice. As the pile is quite thick I had to glue on the noses and use felt for eyebrows as thread just vanishes, but I think that actually looks better and allows for more expression.
I made a second set of Ace clothes while I was waiting for the fur to arrive; the first jacket had been a bit too small and I’d only had satin to use for the lining which disintegrates as it’s sewn, not something I wanted to give someone as a gift. It was a painstaking job to replicate the badges and decoration on the jacket with felt and embroidery thread, but I was pleased with how it turned out:
The costume is based on one from Remembrance of the Daleks, the skirt and t-shirt made from jersey and the decorations on the latter also of felt. She has a plait, rucksack and baseball bat, as well as a nitro 9 canister in her hand/paw (which I actually swapped out for a better one on Friday but didn’t take any pictures of it). The nitro is attached with velcro and can be exchanged for the bat. My only tiny niggle is that I made the jacket lining the wrong colour, only realising it should be orange when I started rewatching Sophie’s episodes last week, but that’s just my perfectionist side at work and her new owner didn’t mind.
“Aaaaaace!” You can see my original Seventh Doctor bear here; I changed a few things working on the new one, this time using blue eyes and making the jacket in cream rather than brown, mainly as a contrast with the darker fur but also so he would match season 25 Ace. I decided to use red paisley for scarf, tie, hatband and handkerchief, adding a red trim to the last two. The jumper once again took a couple of hours’ work, and as this was a present for Sylvester this time I did embroider question marks and chevrons all the way round!
For the umbrella I cut out several long triangles and stitched them together in imitation of a real brolly, using a bit of a skewer covered in felt for the pole (that’s not the word but I can’t think what to call the middle of a umbrella for the life of me!), to which I attached some jewellery wire pinched from my sister (shh!) twisted into the shape of a question mark. That was then covered in yet more felt. I’ve made a lot of things from felt lately!
And voila: one finished Seventh Doc bear:
I do hope Sylvester spots that he even has spoons in his pocket. 😁
Last but not least, we have Eighth Doctor bear, which I actually started first but I didn’t have enough fabric for his coat so he had to sit and wait while I worked on the others. My original is here; he’s gone through a few costume tweaks as I’ve tried to improve on things and this time I mainly used scraps left over from my own cosplay and made them up in the same way: shirt, scarf, waistcoat, belt and gailters are all the same as mine, and the coat is identical material but from a different source.
His shirt and waistcoat both fasten with buttons, and I made the watch chain and belt buckle from embroidery thread. It took several attempts to get the boots and gaiters right, and I went from having quite a large piece of faux leather to something about a quarter of the size, most of it ending up in the bin! Unlike my Eight bear he has a sonic screwdriver, made from - yes, you guessed it! - felt. Fortunately the TVM sonic is quite a simple design, unlike the other one I made which can be swapped with this one to go with the Dark Eyes outfit I ran up on an impulse because I had scraps left from my own jacket and put in the bag with him; hopefully Paul will find it as that DE sonic took me two attempts to get (somewhat) right!
I changed the shape of the lapels on this new coat so that they were more like the real one, and I also took some pics of him in his Dark Eyes gear:
I confess that he was the one I found it hardest to give up. Look at him:
And he matches me!
I had to keep telling myself that I couldn’t keep him, I’d made him for Paul, but it wasn’t easy!
Finally, a few pics of them together:
I was so, so pleased with the way these turned out. Along with Bush (about whom I’ll post separately), these are the best bears I’ve made so far, and I’m glad that Paul, Sophie and Sylvester were just as happy with them!

The Siege II, Pt. 1
So, we begin the second part of the three part episode The Siege (S01E20), the grand finale of the first season. The previous episode ended dramatically with Sheppard seeming to go full dark side executing a prisoner of war because he was so distraught by the news received from Weir about their plans to take out the wraith using the Ancient satellite having failed. This much is true however you interpret Sheppard and McKay's personal relationship. But as we start the final episode of the season, we seem to have skipped right over something important.
The episode begins with McKay coming down the stairs from the jumper bay, apparently having only just arrived back on Atlantis and still wearing the red jumpsuit he wore during the mission. The approach of the two remaining hives is shown on the screen. McKay, Weir and Sheppard all seem to be business as usual, and something major has definitely been entirely glossed over. This is the first time they see each other since McKay took off in the beginning of the previous episode. The ending of the previous episode was dramatic. Sheppard seemed to be on the brink of a dark crevice and now it's as though none of it had even happened.
Only, it did happen. And the fact that it did happen has everything to do with the resolution of this episode and the culmination of the entire season. There are scenes between these two episodes that we don't get to see for reasons that are never explained, but they must have happened. Sheppard must have learned that McKay didn't die at some point, and he probably learned it from Weir. But he very much did think that McKay had died. What he did between thinking that McKay had died and finding out that he hadn't but was in fact on his way back home seems like a pretty important part of the narrative and it's jarring that we don't get to see it. And the reason we don't get to see it is that is the same as to why we don't get to see many of those private moments between them; that part of the narrative plays out only in the sub-text. Showing it would give away the game.
We do see what Sheppard looks like when he thinks that McKay has died much later on in Doppelganger (S04E04). His literal worst nightmare is having to watch McKay die in front of him without being able to do anything to save him. First, he is in shock. He can't believe that it's real. He looks at everyone in the room, all the doctors gathered around McKay, to tell him that it isn't real.
But inevitably the reality of the situation sinks in and we can see his heart breaking. I invite you to compare is face here, when it finally hits him, to how he looked at the end of the previous episode. The only difference is the camera angle, Sheppard was looking up at the people in the observation room in the first one and down at the wraith in the second.
That is the face of a man that has just lost everything that matters to him.
In his nightmare, some time seems to pass and we find him alone, walking through an empty hallway. He doesn't know where he's going, he has nowhere to go. He's slow, sluggish, like his body is still moving while no one's home. Like his body is still alive when he has died inside. He is literally lost, he doesn't seem to know where he is. He isn't really thinking about anything, there are only jumbled half-formed thoughts in his head. He's gone. It can't be real. How could this happen? How could I let this happen? I failed to save him. How could you leave me? Come back. Please. I can't do this without you. I can't be without you. Rodney. Oh God, please being him back. He can't be gone. All of this you can see on his face.
This here, something very similar to this is precisely what Weir saw before she could fill him in on what had happened out there. This is how Weir found Sheppard. When Sheppard later tells her, "I have to and you know it!" this is what he means. She knows because she saw him like this. She saw the depth of his grief. She grieved for the loss of a dear friend, Peter Grodin, but what she saw in Sheppard was something altogether different. It was witnessing this, it was having to talk Sheppard out of this despair, that brought them close, made them actual friends, caused Sheppard to finally trust her with the truth of the matter. The pain was too acute for him to keep pretending like he hadn't just lost someone that he loved in all the ways that a man can love. He may even have hated her before he learned the truth for having made him stay back when the decision to stay back had ultimately been his own. He was utterly adrift, completely lost until she told him the greatest thing he has ever heard. He was alive, and he was coming home.
It isn't until Search and Rescue (S05E01) that we see how Sheppard reacts to the information that McKay is alive when he had thought him dead. Before he learns that McKay is alive, he had given up on everything. He didn't care if he lived or died. He knew that the fate of the entire human race depended on rescuing Teyla, but he didn't even care about that. He had been impaled by a metal rod and had spent the better part of the day being crushed under the weight of an entire building, and none of that hurt as much as the knowledge that McKay was dead and it was because of him, because he had walked him into this ambush when McKay was supposed to live to old age.
And then, suddenly, he learns the truth and he himself is alive again. He has a purpose. He has a job to do. McKay is alive and he's damn well going to make sure he stays that way even if he has to save the world to see that that happens.
Both of these things happened for the first time here, at the end of the first season, between the previous episode and this, and we didn't get to see them. This is a huge thing, one that has repercussions not only on how they wrap up this season but far down the line, and we don't get to see any of it on screen. This isn't important just for how we interpret Sheppard and McKay's relationship but is foundational for the close bond Sheppard shares with Weir and how that plays out. Their bond may not be romantic but it is nonetheless significant, and we don't get to see how it comes to be.
There was a lot of emphasis on communication via devices in the previous episode. We don't know whether McKay had communicated with Atlantis or Sheppard had communicated with the jumper between the episodes. Finding out that McKay was alive may have unburdened Sheppard, but McKay was still very much feeling like he had personally failed them all. Sheppard may feel relieved but McKay was crushing under the weight of his guilt. McKay wasn't anything close to alright with what had happened. They both seem raw as they see each other for the first time, here. They may have discussed it between the episodes. Alternatively, there may not have been anything to say, and if Sheppard had tried to contact him, he may only have received curt monosyllabic answers from McKay.*
Their reunion takes place in public, under the watchful eyes of pretty much the entire expedition, which means that they are not free to make any kind of gestures that might compromise Sheppard. If they hadn't been forced to hide what they are to each other, they might have been able to embrace, Sheppard might have grabbed his hand, would have been able to show in some small way that he cares, that he's there for him. But they don't get to have that. And they are in such a rush to get the entire expedition moving out to the Alpha Site that they have no time to connect with one another.
But all of this, all of this is very important for understanding why they do the things that they do later on in the episode.
When they first meet after all that has transpired, there seems to be some awkwardness between them. McKay glances at Weir but the men are both avoiding looking at each other. Sheppard turns away and lets Weir walk between them which is very unusual for him. Weir welcomes McKay but McKay glosses right over the pleasantries:
Weir: Welcome back, Rodney. McKay: Where are we? Weir: Our scanners show the hive ships have started moving again, although their pace has slowed considerably. Sheppard: Obviously you gave them something to think about.
Sheppard is the first to reach out both by looking at McKay and saying something to him. McKay has his back to him and doesn't turn to look at him, not at first. Sheppard tries to look away but now that he has seen McKay, he seems unable to do that again. Although it must be anything but easy for him, Sheppard still tries to connect with McKay, addresses him directly. And what Sheppard says here is also designed to ease McKay's guilt over what happened, to make him feel better. This is the first of three attempts ('rule of three!') in this episode for Sheppard to ease the burden other people keep piling on his shoulders. Sheppard seems really unsure of what he's supposed to do here, but he still tries. He can't not try. The experience of believing he had lost McKay for good has has proven to him without a shadow of a doubt that that man is the most important thing in his life.
While Weir is talking shop in his ear, McKay does finally turn to look at Sheppard, for the first time since they parted almost three days ago. It's possible that neither of them even hear what she says because that exchanged look, brief though it is, communicates everything between them. The hurt, the guilt, the shame, the pain, the longing, the pleading, the need, the love, above all the love. Naked, there for each of them to see, to read off of the other's face.
Where Sheppard can see that McKay is not alright, Weir just makes him feel even worse by reminding him that he has failed in his duty of figuring out something to save them all:
Weir: Well, if they get here in two hours, or two days, it doesn't change the fact that we're out of options. We can't hope to fight them, so unless either of you have any more ideas…
With this, Weir basically undoes what Sheppard was trying to do by telling McKay that his mission hadn't been for nothing. McKay turns away again as Weir looks to him, unable to meet her gaze. He doesn't respond, doesn't say anything. There's nothing to say.
Sheppard immediately notices what her words do to him, and he literally gives her the side-eye, narrowing his eyes in disapproval. The next we see McKay, he has folded his arms in front of him defensively, still half-turned away from Sheppard.
They seem to be at the end of the rope, and the three of them each go to their own computer terminals to arm the self-destruct mechanism. And I want to highlight this, because it's important for later: at this point in time it takes both Weir and Sheppard to arm it, both of their personal passwords. They waited for McKay to arm it but it does not seem like he has anything to do with the arming, he is just standing by the dialing computer prepared to dial the star gate. Either of them having the other's password would be counter-productive since the idea is that it's a joint decision, at this time it takes both the military and the civilian commander to arm the self-destruct. We are shown here very clearly that both Weir and Sheppard need to enter their passwords. This is the design of the device, it's a fail-safe mechanism ensuring that the decision is not taken lightly or easily. It is Sheppard's personal password, no one else is meant to have it.
McKay is looking at Sheppard when they are entering their passwords, when Sheppard isn't looking at him but is focused on his task, committing this sight to memory.
As they've armed the self-destruct, as they have damned the entire city, he has to look away again. All of this is just a manifestation of how perfectly he has failed all these people. This is all his fault, his responsibility. He can barely stand to be inside of his own skin right now.
If McKay was watching Sheppard when he was arming the self-destruct, Sheppard in turn watches him as he dials the gate in preparation for their move onto the Alpha Site, and it is only the sudden appearance of an in-coming wormhole that is able to make him draw his eyes away from that man.
The arrivals are from SGC, seeming to include a company of marines headed by a Colonel. It seems as though a new hope has arrived, and while they can't quite believe it yet, they don't quite know what to make of it, they certainly welcome this help with open arms. For the expedition this is a wonderful thing, for the security of Atlantis and protecting them from the wraith this is the best news they could have received.
But for Sheppard and McKay's interpersonal relationship, things just got even more tense. They haven't had time to reconnect after the events of the previous episode, they are still unsure around each other, they are both still hurting and raw, and now there is a superior officer on base that Sheppard owes allegiance to (emphasized by how Ford immediately salutes the man, Colonel of the USMC to which he belongs). If they were unfree to show what is brewing underneath the surface within both of them individually and between them before, their hands are not completely tied. The reality of it seems to slowly sink in as Sheppard watches them coming in.
However much it might be killing Sheppard inside that he can't get to McKay to comfort him, to be able to touch him to know that he's real and that he's here, that he didn't die, that he hadn't lost him, his duty holds him back with a vise grip. And however much McKay may be dying to have Sheppard come to him, to tell him that it wasn't his fault, that it's not all up to him, that they can still figure this out together. that it's going to be alright, he is called upon to protect Sheppard from the oppressive system that he serves. They may have needed to be careful around each other in public before, but suddenly they are asked to pretend like there is nothing whatsoever between them. And it could not have come at a worse time.
The arrival of Colonel Everett is a double-edged sword.
Continued in Pt. 2
-* This is veering into fanfic territory but I can imagine Sheppard's attempt to contact McKay after finding out that he's still alive going something like this:
Sheppard: McKay? McKay: McKay here. Sheppard: You're... McKay: What? Sheppard: ... McKay: ... Sheppard: Are you injured? McKay: Negative. Myself and Miller... are uninjured. Sheppard: Good. McKay: Hm. Sheppard: The jumper is unharmed? McKay: It's unharmed. Sheppard: And you're on your way back? McKay: We should be in Atlantis in XX zero hours. Sheppard: Good. McKay: ... Sheppard: We are preparing to evacuate everyone to the Alpha Site. McKay: Okay. Sheppard: We'll wait for you to return before we proceed. McKay: Right. Sheppard: Okay. McKay: Yes. Sheppard: Good. McKay: ... Sheppard: ... McKay: .... Sheppard: I'm... glad that you're alive *click*

How is it I've ended up in a situation where i end up writing two costume metas a week now 🤔😂😳 We are sneak peek meta'ing as there is some juicy stuff in the sneak peaks we've had!! First up,
Madney!!
Lots of check - sooooo much check going on here!! the interesting thing about having both of them in check is how they contrast each other - I think we'll see that Maddie is more confused about things than Chimney is as the episode unfolds. Maddies jacket being a variety of check hints at confusion and danger on multiple fronts - I'd be prepared to put money down on Maddie not only reckoning with the Doug of the equation, but also there being further things for her in relation to her parents and some things around Jee-Yun as well. How exactly we'll see all that play out and how much detail they'll go into over it I have no idea, but I can see 2 possibly 3 different tweed chcks on her jacket, so there are likely to be 2 or 3 things that she has to face up to.
Chimneys Check has however been lurking there below the surface all season long and that very much plays into the longer arc we've seen for him this season. I would've loved to have actually seen the joint therapy session we were supposed to get at the start of the season because I'm sure it would've played into this underlying foreshadowing of danger we have for him, but I have a theory about why we didn't end up seeing it. Chimney's check has nearly always been close to his skin - by that I mean shirts rather than jumpers or jackets - and we've seen a lot of times where it is hidden under a plain jumper or jacket. I don't want to jump the gun too much by making crazy predictions, but as well as foreshadowing his season finale injury, I think we might be seeing some foreshadowing for Chimney keeping some stuff close to his chest that we will get to see play out in season 7 - its feeling very much like this season is setting up some sort of Chimney trauma healing arc that is bigger than the smallish stuff we've been given so far - it has always felt a little off that we never really got to dig into the stuff with Chimneys father more than we did and then with the Kevin stuff we got in the last episode, it feels like the show building towards something bigger for him and the costumes are aiding this subtext.
Eddie and Chris
there are all of the things going on here in this scene!! firstly as has already been mentioned - it is the same knit hoodie that Eddie was wearing in 5x14. We'll come back to Eddie though - I want to start with Chris!
This is the first time we've ever seen Chris in a denim jacket, in fact we've never actually seen him in a jacket at all, we've only seen him in hoodies up to this point. there is something about this being the first time we see him wear one - at Shannons grave side. Denim jackets are culturally tied to westerns, cowboys and to Texas. Christopher wearing one here would appear to be a visual way of tying him to the childhood he had with his mother - backing up the conversation about making s'mores with her when he was younger.
We can't not talk about the striped hoodie Stripes according to my theory are all about change incoming - the theory hasn't yet been disproven by the wardrobe department and I get the feeling that here is no different. The idea that a change is coming in Christophers life is one that has been hovering around for a little while and the narrowing of the stripes would suggest that change is getting closer. I can't not mention the fact that the hoodie is also white and grey striped - the horizontal version of Buck shirt from the shooting. this is suggesting two things to me - one it is connecting Chris directly to the fact he nearly lost both parents - sitting at the grave of one parent while wearing something that echoes an outfit from the moment he could've lost a second parent. I also think there is something in the connection to Buck specifically in this - its directly connected to the will and that Chris has a third parent - I can't wait to see if I'm just clowning hard, or if the change the stripes Chris is wearing are foreshadowing some connetion to the will!
I do want to touch on the fact that he has short trousers on here - I'm fascinated by them as a choice because again, they're not something we've seen Chris wearing before and my brain automatically went to Buck and the short trousers he has been wearing a lot of. The ones we see Chris in here are a bit shorter than the ones Buck wears but I do think it was an interesting choice - I hope we get to see Chris moving in them so I can see exactly how short they actually are, because if they are meant to mimic Bucks then that is very much a choice by the costume department - to connect Christophers past with his present and future!
Back to Eddies greenish black hoodie. while there is very much the connection to Buck misunderstanding the assignment and the heart metaphors at play, there is another aspect to this outfit being worn again and that is his therapy session with Frank
You get some weird screenshots from this scene from me because I want you to look at Eddies arm (this is literally the only vaguely decent shot of it I can get from the sneak peek!) and notice how Eddie is very much not wearing his watch - there is no watch to be seen work or home or fancy watch!!! this is very much saying that Eddie isn't racing against time here or any of the other time metaphors that are in play - other than Eddie has time, that Eddie has moved on and is at peace with Shannon now - something also supported by the choice of flowers at the grave.
I love flower meanings (if you hadn't already figured that out) and the bouquet of roses with some goldenrods is interesting! Goldenrods represent happiness and sincerity and are also associated with new beginnings. The roses are in dark red, coral orange, pale yellow and white. Roses are all generally associated with love, but each colour represents a different aspects or types of love. they do also have some other meanings attached to them. Yellow roses are symbols of friendship and they are connected with Dia de Muertos - the day of the dead, where they are a symbol of remembrance. The white roses are a symbol of innocence and purity, but also represent new beginnings (which is why they're often seen at weddings). the red roses are romantic love and the orange ones bridge the gap between romantic love and friendship - interesting that there is the most of these ones - suggesting that Eddies feelings towards Shannon sit more in the fond friendship and remembrance zone rather than the romantic zone - its saying that Eddie has and is moving on from her - that he will always think of her with love and affection, but that those feelings have subsided into something more like friendship. This is a clear symbol of Eddie being ready to move on fro her.
Natalia
Oh there is so much going on here that I can't even begin to tell you!!!
first up - her hand is bound in a handkerchief with what appear to be blue roses.
Roses in general terms mean love - red for romantic, yellow for friendship etc. Blue roses mean unattainable love (because they do not occur naturally - only through artificial means) - so that would suggest that both love is unattainable for both Natalia and Buck in this direction but also that any feelings etc are not real - they can only be achieved through synthetic or artificial means - suggesting that any attempt at a relationship is going to be forced. Blue roses can also mean (especially the lighter shades of blue) emotions - specifically the finding of hope peace and tranquility. So with all of this in mind we end up with the concept of Buck finding what he’s looking for and that Natalia will help him get there, but that it isn't love, its the peace, tranquility and happiness that he's been seeking.
Natalia wearing a black velvet blazer is also a telling choice - here we have a connection to Bucks date not date outfit from 6x13. Not only does this jacket therefore tie into the idea of dates not actually being dates, that one of them may think that a potential date is a date, when it is in fact not one, but it also plays into the mixed feelings title from that episode as well. overall the jacket is playing into the idea of misunderstandings on some level (Buck continuing to misunderstand the assignment!)
I know you're all staring at how pretty she is, but I want you to look at that necklace!! We have seen that necklace before!!
Sorry for the jump scare, but here it is;
Now why on earth would you put Natalia in the very same necklace as Taylor Kelly unless it means something?!!! I wrote this in my 5x16 costume meta about that necklace and its meaning;
The chain she was wearing however - very interesting - well to me at least!! (you might have already read this part if you read my answer to an ask!!) So chains that look like actual chains (as this one does) are usually representative of bondage or incarceration - such as the chains of slavery or the chains worn by prisoners or the idea of chattel - the concept of possession - belonging to someone or something -such as historically when women became the property of men upon the event of their marriage (the ball and chain). non of the associations with chains are positive ones! There is also the location around her neck - its not worn loose or lower down it is literally like a chain collar around her neck - a noose like position.
Basically all of this adds up to Taylor signalling that she is essentially making her self a chattel - staking her claim on Buck through the concept of her being the woman in possession. The thing is though that idea is outdated - Taylor herself is outdated (as in to be history soon) and there are so many quotes about breaking free from chains that bind you and that love frees you from your chains. So if Taylor is putting herself into the idea of being a chain - a noose about Bucks neck - the symbolism becomes as much about Taylors attempts to chattel herself as it is about the concept of Buck freeing himself of the chains binding him and the idea that Love will free him from those chains. Now because this is film/tv - the director will use that chain symbolism to point out the love - the audience knows Taylor is in a relationship with Buck so they will subconsciously connect that chain to him. But where Buck is located - that is where the love is and the audiences eye will be draw to that location - in placing Buck with Eddie and not having him come over to the conversation and therefore standing next to Lucy in any way - it is all done to show where the love that will set Buck free is - and that is with Eddie!!
I stand by all I said in that meta - it is all still relevant. However, the fact they’ve chosen to have Natalia wear the necklace we saw Tay Kay in in 5x16 for that very key scene (when Buck was off flirting with Eddie in the background) is less about Natalia herself trying to stake a claim on Buck and much more about what she represents as a death doula. She is a representation of death and this necklace is playing into the idea of death having a claim over Buck - of Buck feeling like death has a claim over him. It continues to play into the theme of Orpheus and Eurydice's that we saw at play through Carla in 6x11. the concept of Buck still wanting to look back rather than forward and the act of looking back pulling you back to the underworld.
This is telling me that Buck is still drawn by death, that he is attracted to and and chateled or attached to death because he hasn’t yet dealt with any of his route trauma.
The fact that we see the necklace on Tay Kay at the moment she has to reckon with who she thinks is the wedge in her relationship with Buck, may also be telling because reusing it here potentially has a similar theme at play - there is a third person/thing in any relationship they attempt to create - death that Natalia may end up feeling the same way as Tay Kay - not saying she’s going to be petty and weird like TK was, it is more likely she will recognise the wedge is bucks relationship with death - and it will be a catalyst to Bucks healing making progressI standby.
there is another connection that @theladyyavilee 's eagle eyes spotted - the necklace is also the same as a bracelet that Ana is wearing when Eddie comes across her in Jinx
the meanings are similar to those I've already written about - with Ana the other more subtle connection is the reason Eddie bumps into her at all is because of Izzy Chainz - stuck up on his billboard.
The fact that we have Natalia connected to both Taylor and Ana in this way is in and of itself very telling - the connections to them is telling us that things with Natalia and Buck won't work out - as if we needed any further confirmation, the wardrobe department as always have our backs and just add their weight to all the other indicators. There is also the meaning behind Natalias name - birthday - specifically in connection with Christmas day and the birth of Christ - further tying into the theory that Natalia is going to help Buck move on from his death in some way and this will very likely also have some connection with the route of Bucks trauma - Daniel and the reaso he was born and allow him to get ever closer to finding happiness - it just won't be with her
Right that is quite enough going feral over the sneak peeks - hopefully it will tide you over until the episode airs and I can write my full normal meta!!!

fears of the above : cjy
in which choi juyeon realizes she shouldn't have attended today's going seventeen filming, especially when she has an extreme fear of heights and was chosen as the last member to go bungee jumping. warning : jinny suffers a panic attack takes place during gose ep 38 word count : 1.2k please note that this isn't how all panic attacks are or happen. i am writing this fit to my own experience and this is not the same as anybody else's panic attacks.
At this moment, there was nothing Juyeon could do except regret. Regret playing scissors, regret pushing her hair out of her face, regret even agreeing to come to today's shoot. The only things going through her mind were the words "Why did I say yes?" and how insanely tall the mount is from the ground when you're the one standing on it. Not even her members words of encouragement could get to her at this point.
Just half an hour ago, Juyeon was down there, laughing and playing around with the boys. She was happy, enjoying her time. That was until she was tasked with taking her sweater off without moving her hair with her fingers before, during, or after. Of course, she lost. The second she heard the enthusiastic "Jump! Jump! Jump! Jump!" coming from Seungkwan's stupid button, she began to dread even agreeing to Chan when he excitedly told her about their plans to go bungee jumping as an episode and that "she absolutely had to come!"
Things only got worse when she kept losing in the jumpers' game of rock, paper, scissors. She felt like a fool when she played scissors instead of any other option against Hoshi's rock. The dancer jumped in relief while Juyeon stood there, frozen. It was then Chan and Mingyu knew they were forgetting something, something important.
Back to present time; Eyes, at least thirty pairs Juyeon assumed, were staring at her, ranging from her worried members to the camera men that had cameras pointed right up to the tears about to spill from her eyes. Choi Juyeon, the member of Seventeen that couldn't handle a simple jump off a platform. Choi Juyeon, the member of Seventeen that would be known for her overwhelming fear of heights from the second the episode aired for the public's eyes. Choi Juyeon, the weak member of Seventeen. She could hear the thousands of SNS posts and articles already.
There she stood, lips flat-lined and eyes already watering just from looking at the water below her. Everyone near her stared expectantly, as if they were waiting for her to just break down and quit. Juyeon didn't understand why there were still cameras pointed directly at her face when she was probably about to have the worst panic attack of her life.
"Hyung, I don't think she's 'just scared' anymore. Don't you see her? We can see her shaking, and we're all the way down here." Dokyeom whispered to Jeonghan, who was seated next to them. Jeonghan nodded, agreeing with Dokyeom's words. Whenever the men asked if she was alright, the nearest staff member simply told them "she's just scared, she'll get over it eventually." But this was their sister, and over time they realized something was wrong.
"Wait, you need to get her off there." Chan suddenly sat up from his position on the grass, as if he remembered something extremely important. "No can do, kid." A staff member told him, but Chan responded with a harsh glare before continuing his statement. By now, the other twelve members were looking at him, curious about what he had to stay. "I mean it, now. Juyeon's not just afraid. She's scared of heights. Like, super scared. Terrified." He ran a hand through his hair, exhaling deeply. Now they all freaked, jumping up at the younger's intel.
"A-Are you serious? I can't get off? I can't do this. I'll pay. I'll do anything. Just- just get me off, please." The worker shook his head at Juyeon's words, repeating the same "you gotta jump now that the harness is on and tightened, ma'am" he told her before. Juyeon was sobbing now, legs feeling like jello. And yet there were still cameras pointed at her. Everything felt like it was too far away for her. But it all seemed to be closing in on her too, in a way. The adults around her looked bored now, like they had dealt with this already and didn't want to deal with it again.
Juyeon shakily grabbed the handrails, trying to calm herself down. The chaos in her body was similar to what was going on below her; thirteen boys worriedly asking the staff members what they could do to help.
"Come on, seriously. You can't force her to jump."
"Do you not see her? She's having a panic attack, get her off."
"You can't just let one of us go up there or something?"
By now, there was a whole team of staff members alongside the boys trying to get the youngest down. But somehow, nothing was getting through to the stubborn team of workers. "She's gotta jump." they told the group, standing protectively at the lift.
"Please, I can't do this," Juyeon sobbed, a hand over her face. "I just want to get off!" But she couldn't hear a response, if there even was one, for the ringing in her ear served as a blockage of sorts. The girl was on the ground now, shaking vigorously. Finally, something clicked in the staff members' minds that she wasn't just joking around to get off. It began to become a mess up on the platform, too. Which didn't help at all, might I add.
While the group was wondering what to do, Juyeon sat, still shaking and sobbing, trying to find a way to pull the harness off her body. She just wanted to get down, back to the safety of the ground and her members. Then, she heard something. Like something, or someone, was calling her name.
"Jinny! Juyeon! Can you hear me? It's okay, honey, I promise." As she was processing the person's words, Juyeon felt a set of hands on her own and another attempting to undo whatever hooks and ties were done on her harness to take it off. When she looked up, she saw the faces of Seungcheol, the owner of the hands that held tightly onto hers, Jeonghan, who was currently working with another employee to undo her harness, and Joshua, who was rubbing a comforting hand on her shoulder while trying to talk to her.
"Come, come, stand." said Jeonghan, who somehow was able to work through the tightness of the hooks on the girl's harness and was trying to take it off of her. She complied, wobbly standing up. "I'm scared." were the first words to leave Juyeon's mouth. When the weight of the equipment was finally taken off of her, Juyeon immediately leaned into Seungcheol. "I'm so scared."
"We know. Please don't hide stuff like this anymore. I'm serious, 'Yeon." The use of her nickname just made the girl cling onto the oldest tighter, her head dug into his neck, allowing the man to sit down. "If you ever feel like you don't want to do something you can just tell us," Jeonghan added, squatting next to where Seungcheol and Juyeon sat. "None of us want you to become like this because you felt like you were forced to something you didn't want to." Joshua nodded along with his words, still rubbing Juyeon's back.
The three of them stayed like that for the next few minutes until Juyeon could calm down. Eventually, Juyeon raised her head, wiping her face with the sleeve of her wool sweater. "I'm sorry," she said, standing up. "I made you worry. I'm sorry."
"Don't say that, Yeonie. It's not your fault. Let's just get back down, yeah?" Joshua said, offering the girl his hand with a warm smile. Seungcheol and Jeonghan followed the pair. "Hey, we should totally get ice cream after we leave." The second oldest told them, a slight smirk on his face.

Young Royals Finale reaction
EP6
Can’t believe the episode is 57 minutes long!!! That is such a blessing!!!! 57 MINUTES!!!
Chucking us right back in there… Simon just left that night? Like…?
„And Simon is right. I have to take responsibility for my own problems. I can’t drag him down with me.“ Pfffuuuuuuhhhhhh that hurts… Like I know he is right.. They are both right…
Love that jumper that Simon is wearing
Seeing Sara and Simon be friends again is so so soooooo healing for my soul.
I love that pep talk that Sara gives Simon about their dad. And maybe the second chance will also apply to Simon’s relationship with Wille?
That poem is by Karin Boye - that’s the one Lisa posted with the trailer....!
Is this the first time Wille and Sara actually spoke to one another? Season 3, episode 6? 😅
So Hillerska is closing down. Even though it shouldn’t be, that is still a shock! But a good one! I love that as a resolution for everything
August having a breakdown in front of everyone after calling them to reason. He is like the only one who can’t stand the discord. And I love him for it
„But everything around here still reminds me of him.“ AAASDIH OIFHAIEFH ASDFV SDF
I’m sorry, but everyone calls their parents or talks to their best friends. Only Wille’s fucking parents don’t bother calling their son. He speaks to fucking Farima again! (Sorry, I love farima, I’m just sooooo over Wille’s parents being shit parents)
Wille looking at Simon through the bookshelves before going up to him… 💜💜💜💜
It breaks my heart that they can’t even say how they feel, they are so broken by this breakup.. But also weirdly, this also feels like one of the first really honest conversations they have
Henry interrupting them is soo funny…. He just has noooo radar :)))
„We could stay here and feel like crap together“ 😂
HE CALLED SIMON THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE!!!!!!!!! I mean, we all knew that, but still - THE LOVE OF HIS LIFE!!!!!!!
Love that Felice called him ‚Party Prince‘ :))) also, it feels like Felice has her personality back :)) Nice to see the real Felice again :)))
Simon lying on the football field and playing with the fake sand…. My heeeaaaaarrrtttt!!!!!
Lol Simon did you really think you got closure? From what?
REVOLUTION IS PLAYING!!!!!
„Erik would’ve loved you no matter what“ - this is the moment where I start crying.
This is such a good apology, August.. And Malte is giving it everything… I love this scene. This is so so so important… Also, I’m crying now, and I probably won’t stop now that I’ve started..
„Yes, I have feelings for August. But I have stronger and more important feelings for you. And for Simon, and for myself.“ As an aroace person, this made my heart sing. FRIENDSHIP!!!!! PREACH!!!
„That was the best day of my life.“ Oh Saraaa….. I love you… I know you and Felice will be fine.. You will be fine, I can feel it!!
Nils officially coming out to Vincent and August 🏳️🌈 love it :) even Vincent has a good side, hidden somewhere very deep deep down, but it is there :)
„I see you, but I don’t think you see me. You’re in love with the person you become with me.“ She is soooo right. So right. And it breaks my heart that they won’t be together, but…. She is so right about this
Malte, you are such an incredible actor - how have we all not seen this before?!?!?!?!?!
„It’ll pass“ - that is such an iconic line that I will forgive you for stealing it from fleabag :))
It’s so brave of Simon to go up to Wille.
I cannot even begin to write down my feelings about the next few scenes. I was crying the whole time, shaking, sobbing, all over the place. They are sooo beautiful. The way they look at each other. Cherishing the moment. AND WHEN WILLE STARTED SINGING ‚IT TAKES A FOOL TO REMAIN SANE‘ ökdfn oäwiAFGBNÖOUERBGTÖAOIRBSYDÖFGOXVABN I can’t watch this be the end of them. I can’t.
Also, the song Alice is beautiful for all of this. Poetic cinema.
Frederika & stella :)
WHEN IS THAT SONG GOING TO BE ON SPOTIFY? I WANT TO LISTEN TO THIS FOREVER AND EVER AND EVER.
I love the slight change of the lyrics too.. „Cause we were a revolution“ from „I can be your revolution.“
Wille is looking at August like he has a plan. I SMELL AN ABDICATION :)))
And they sing Simon’s Song? This is toooo much!!!!! I love it!!!! But also why did no one tell Simon about that?
The way they fade that song over the next few scenes… Have I already mentioned that I am crying my eyes out?
So, the queen had a serious health concern. And now she is just fine? She has sought out therapy for like one day and apologizes to her son? Like, how does that work so quickly?
But also, I love it. Wille deserves parents who are there for him.
Wille, what are you thinking? What are you going to doooooo???? Abdication is coming, I can feel it…!!!
Why are they having a conversation about how it was in vain, or not? This is not going in the right direction.
„I never gave up on you. I gave up on the royal family.“ - Wille, your path is clear!!!!! You HAVE to take it!!!
Goodbye? Nooo? Why???? „I hope you have a nice summer.“ What the fuck? That is not the throwback I needed? Hello? Why are you walking away? Noooo, come back!!!! Simooooooon!!!!!!!! AAAAAAAAHHHH!!
„They were friends who threw money at the problem instead of listening.“ THANK YOU!!
Just ride off into the sunset together, you two 💜
The Queen saying she’s proud of Wille is such an empty thing.
He is fumbling his collar. He is getting out of that car.
„One day you will be a fantastic king.“ - Say it! Say it, Wille!! SAY IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
„What happens if I don’t want to?“ YEEEEEEESSSSS, REVOLUTION BABY!!!!!!
This is the growth that Edvin talked about. Talking about his issues calmly, productively. Putting it simply. Being heard. Understood. He is fucking abdicating here and it is working. I LOVE IT!
„The thing with Simon“ - the disrespect!!!! I am done with this woman. He is the love of his life, ok?
„I don’t want this.“ - The smile when he says this.. 🥰 The first signs of the actual Wille coming out from all that pressure
The harmony theme starting to play as he leaves the car and the monarchy behind This is so freaking good!!!!! I freaking love this show
Haha, Simon waiting a minute before having Sara stop the car… Let him run :))
The music. The sunshine. The full trees. The fucking smiles on both of their faces. Fucking finally.
„For my own sake. … I want to be with you, Simon.“
The cheeky smile on Simon’s face just before he says, „what the hell do you think?“ nsyöljdnföojansAKENF KASJDNF LKJANSD
THEY ARE SMILING!!!! THEY ARE HUGGING!!! THEY ARE BOYFRIENDS!!!! THEY ARE ENDGAME!!!!!
I WILL NEVER EVER RECOVER FROM THIS HAPPINESS - THESE TWOOOOOOOOOO 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
THE MONTAGE…. 💜💜💜💜💜
THE WAY THE CUDDLE IN THE CAR - I AM FALLING IN LOVE WITH THEM ALL OVER AGAIN 💜💜💜💜💜
Also, I am in tears. Sobbing, shaking, laughing, crying. Truly, I have felt all the emotions this episode. I freaking love this show.
