Kremy, being cold blooded, has various problems with winter.

Much like regular alligators, he can sort of go into a brumation period if he stays in the cold too long, but if he ends up being stuck in the cold when it hits, there is a high likelihood he's going to die. And he has no intentions of going out like that.

He actually wears less clothes, as they only really serve to insolate the cold. What he used to do before the Krew was make *absolutely sure* he was somewhere nice and warm by the time it was cold enough to kill him, or at least had the ability to warm himself somehow. Saved a lot on food then, since he couldn't eat. But he also made a lot less, since cons are hard to do when you can't form proper sentences.

After Gideon joined, well, he had to worry a little less about the cold. Though explaining the whole thing the first time was embarrassing. "Ohhh Gid I neeed to cuddle with you because I'll LITERALLY dieee please hold me in your BIG STRONG ARMS", that's what he thought he sounded like at least.
