This sums up a lot of my feelings on MJ (with the allegations), it's from someone who used to be a fan. Many say there is no smoking gun in regards to the allegations, but for me the smoking gun was his own statements, along with reading about pedophiles from a csa expert that match all of his exact behaviors, as well as the exact process his victims all describe (And the disturbing photos of little boys) But here is one fan's thoughts:

As a victim of abuse, and as an adult, ironically, I worked with a pedophile for years without knowing....And I knew what to look for! Think about the ramifications of that.

I'm a huge fan of MJ...or was. You never truly stop. And I grew up loving the man and his music. I was definitely groomed...as we all were, if only to love him. And his 'people' were very careful to ensure we loved MJ the man (god?), as well as (if not more so) than his music.

But after reading the numerous court case transcripts and watching the documentaries...the ones which allow MJ to speak and his victims to be heard...it isn't the victims of MJ but his own words and actions (that I've seen/heard first hand) which concern me the most.

To explain both sides, we actually only need MJ's words and his documented actions.

I try not to be biased, despite being a victim of abuse...because I've also been accused of abuse (and exonerated)... by a former colleague so I know how it feels to be innocent but under suspicion.

The sex offender I knew is now in prison but everyone around him had to be investigated so they could be cleared. But I know firsthand how awful that process was as an innocent. So I'm careful to see both sides.

If MJ was accused once by a stranger, I would have had my doubts, but likely sided with MJ if sufficient evidence wasn't produced.

But MJ was accused again and again...and again (and again) by the closest people to him. Children and adults alike. His own staff. Families he helped. Friends. Colleagues, acquaintances and more.

This is all deeply problematic...and despite paying tens of millions in settlements again and again (which alone is worrisome), MJ consciously kept on sleeping with other people's children.

And when he had his own kids...he went to extraordinary lengths to make sure the mother wasn't part of his life with those kids. Kids who went on to have very troubled lives.

Although I don't believe MJ ever directly physically abused his own family (though he did hang baby Blanket out of a 5th floor window for a photo op).

It's relevant to say that the pedophile I worked with never abused me or anyone in front of me or close to him...so I'm never surprised when MJ's family or Macaulay says, "we never saw it." But that's the point of abuse. It doesn't happen in public or it's not meant to. Though with MJ, I believe at least a form of abuse did occur in plain sight after he spent years systematically normalizing odd behavior.

It's a fact that MJ had a giant bed in a separate wing of his child-themed Neverland Ranch, connected by one long corridor with a security system he personally installed. Which he claimed was designed to warn him if anyone was coming towards the bedroom...where he slept with other peoples' kids.

I've watched him say the latter on video. And even if he was tricked into miscommunication (it happens)...that is yet more evidence of a man unsuited to child care.

To reasonable people who ask, "did he abuse kids sexually?" I say there are many forms of abuse which can ruin lives. But 'that's not the only point.'

As a trusted adult with influence, money and power, MJ undeniably grossly abused his position of trust time and time again.

When it comes to childcare, the latter is enough to be a huge problem for 99% of average people. And if you abuse your own kids... in any way...it's somehow even worse.

We know without a shadow of a doubt that MJ repeatedly demonstrated a total lack of good decision making. Simply being involved with all these kids (often poor, vulnerable and even sick) in a way which could lead to the children feeling wronged, betrayed...abused even.

The latter is based on an endless parade of self-produced (by MJ) evidence from sanctioned interviews and court documents. I repeat....MJ's own words and actions continue to give me the most concern, as they should any reasonable person and especially parents.

Even if MJ was 100% innocent of every claim (statistically unlikely), by acting as he did...he let the possibility of abuse arise in the media and in peoples' minds.

Which unsurprisingly resulted in long painful court cases, for not just MJ, but also the kids torn between the lawyers and the parents and the media. Again, that is indisputable. And at the very least...MJ's lack of good judgment...as the most powerful adult involved...makes him responsible for that suffering. 👏

Simply by sleeping with a stranger's child or trying to be their "best friend" and ignoring the age and power dynamic...MJ and his enablers were all putting these kids' wellbeing and emotional health at risk (again and again). He without a doubt put his own needs (legal or otherwise) before these innocent kids. Again, this is indisputable based on documentary evidence.

I don't know about anyone else but I've never slept with strangers' kids, or promoted that idea as "acceptable" as MJ did in interviews. I have enough common sense and know what adults are capable of. And what I could be accused of. You just don't do it under any circumstances. Unless you believe rules/laws/morality...don't apply to you. 👈

And if you wonder why people push back so hard on the facts of this sad case...even after his death...then you need to understand that the MJ estate generates $400-800 million a year for his family and lawyers, who are the people that push back the hardest.

And fans push back...because MJ spent decades brain washing us all that he was a protector of children around the world...as his own HIStory tour claimed. And he was a good entertainer who we wanted to love.

I watched MJ's 1996 deposition video recently and was stunned at how careless/callous he was. He laughed and joked and yawned and messed about while lawyers and the authorities literally pulled his carefully built reputation through the mud.

This was a man who had the most expensive legal team in the entire world. He had months to prepare. But this was his plan. To behave like the claims, so serious they could put him away for life, were a joke.

And if that was a legal strategy, it makes him the best actor and liar on earth. And if that's true...then how could we trust anything he said.

A man child who lived in a literal make believe land based around the dream of never growing up...or more accurately never taking responsibility for his actions...Never never...land.

In many ways MJ was all the wonderful things he claimed he was...but he was also someone who was 100% guilty of gross misconduct with other peoples' children and allegedly guilty of countless cases of sexual abuse.

Even if MJ's crime was only consistently terrible judgment...it still lead to the widely proven emotional abuse of multiple children. That is enough for me as a fan...to walk away. And those who covered for him were/are equally guilty of a form of abuse against vulnerable children.

All except the victims who lied out of fear (and love). Children will defend their friends...their idol...their abusers...but as adults, and in his death, some were able to break free of their emotional dependency or fear of repercussion.

Arguably the alleged victims have had their lives destroyed twice. Once by MJ and then again by his estate, his fans, and the media.

Summary:

There are always two sides. I base my opinion on MJ's own documented words and actions. Alongside my wish for him to be innocent, but knowing my own experience with sexual predators.

It is MJ who convicted himself as guilty of child abuse. I don't know exactly what type of abuse, but any abuse (and repeated abuse) is unacceptable. And without a doubt, a number of the children he chose to be involved with were damaged through their interaction with him. The latter cannot be overstated. People focus so much on victim testimony and material evidence (which are important too, and were present at Neverland) but MJ's own response to the accusation makes it clear as day.

There are enough victims of undeniable abuse at his hands who also claim there was a sexual element to it...that I feel it is fair to say he was most likely a pedophile. More than enough kids have stated he showed them porn and gave them liquor, on top of abuse. At the end of the day, he cannot do any more harm, though his family and estate still hurt his alleged victims.

I have never bought the skin disease theory. At best, Jermaine tiptoed around it and said they were using bleaching creams in the 70s for blemishes....the fact is, you can trigger it all over your body by using those chemicals. Plus MJ went full body dark like mocha, then latte, then casper all at once...that doesn't happen. No makeup in the 70s to 80s could cover him from head to toe as he was pouring sweat.

So stop re-victimizing the victims! If you want to continue believing he's innocent, that doesn't mean it's ok to bash the accusers.

Being found not guilty in one trial against one accuser does not automatically equate to innocence. Especially with all the other allegations.

To the Sakura stans who ship sasusaku and narusaku in my mentions liking my anti hinata posts, (and being too lazy or incapable of making such posts themselves) know that Sakura is also a useless and selfish character that Kishimoto despises..

Kishimoto wrote her as selfish. She never cared about Sasuke as a person, she doesn’t even know who he is. She only knows he’s hot. Her crying every five seconds doesn’t mean she cares about him, it means she cares about herself. Both of her confessions were about herself.

The fact you guys can see Hinata is useless and selfish but can’t see the same with Sakura, despite the fact it’s underlined in the manga over and over again, only shows that you overlook things in characters you relate to. Sakura doesn’t even make a good self-insert considering everytime she makes a confession, she is brutally rejected, by both boys.

This is Sakura uselessly moping over the fact Sasuke didn’t care about her getting stabbed. You know, instead of focusing on the task at hand like a good shinobi would, she focuses on the fact a guy that never showed interest in her still doesn’t. Her whole attack before getting stabbed wasn’t based on any well thoughtout plan but was solely fueled by her selfish need to satisfy her own ego as we see in her inner thoughts just before.

Here she had another moment of realization that she isn’t that important to Sasuke. But she still pushes on because self respect is not something she has.

And here is yet another moment in which she realizes she isn’t that significant to Sasuke. But since she is stubborn and refuses to take no for an answer, she gets all angry and starts to scream her selfish confession, despite it’s not even relevant to the situation. I mean look at her, I remember someone said she looks like she is getting ready to fight lol. And then she gives her self pitying confession that some people think is love. Sad.

This was how Naruto was acting after Sasuke almost butchered Sakura. He wasn’t approving and was telling Sasuke not to do it, but he wasn’t that angry either.

Or here, after Sasuke put Sakura in a murder genjutsu. “Hey that’s not nice” but overall doesn’t care much. When will you Sakura stans realize Kishimoto doesn’t care about her nor has any respect for her? Even when Sakura confessed to him, Naruto wasn’t heartbroken. Sakura is just a tool to Kishimoto, and he is well aware both Sasuke and Naruto deserve better than Sakura any day. He even implied twice that Sasuke never kisses Sakura.

You people simply sacrificed all reading comprehension, standards and logic at the pink altar of a subpar female character. Hopefully you people are at least young so there’s some room to grow. Sorry if this feels like an attack, but I’m tired of seeing Sakura stans liking my Hinata posts and Hinata stans liking my Sakura posts when both characters have the same bad traits and are constantly being trolled by Kishimoto. It’s hypocrisy.

But I see this person reblogs Sasuke Retsuden stuff so it’s not like she cares what the actual author of Naruto thinks. Wonder if she has even read the manga. Fanfic written by someone completely different is much better I guess.

nearly all of the character designs from 'UNITRES Dreams'

(once again, this post didnt have a “read more” part in da original cohost post, so im putting it here... click more if U Dare !!)

so, trying to get back into making art again, i decided to draw brand new references of all the character designs from my game, UNITRES Dreams. cus why not. anyways these references arent Perfect.. some of em ive made better reference sheets before (while for this i just wanted to draw em all together with a sort of consistent color style and their current, up-to-date designs) and also i didnt get to draw Every character as it is Too Much and i am Too Lazy to draw all of the enemies and boss designs ... so ive just included the enemy and boss sprites for now.. but ill probably draw new art for them sometime.

Anyways. let me tell ya a bit about making Character Designs for this game. as ive talked a bit about in my post about making Character Sprites , making stuff for the game is hard because i am pretty much the Only person working on the game and i have to split my time working on the sprites between working on Every Other Aspect Of The Game , meaning i dont get to spend as much time making the artwork as detailed and polished as id want to.

and the same thing goes for making the Character Designs. sadly, i didnt get to make as many Actual Characters as i wanted (you can tell which are the Actual Characters as theyre the ones i Actually Redrew Here). when the project started, i only really had the Main Three Playable Characters in mind.. in fact most of the other Actual Characters didnt even Exist until the Very Very End of development.. which is the part im sad about. i just didnt have enough time to think about adding any complex new characters or figure out how i would Make a new character design . Which leads me to the Other Characters... which includes Most (but not All) of the Bosses and Enemies. Their designs are well , Basic . their designs werent really thoughtout ;they were created to serve a single purpose: to be made quickly so that the game could Have enemies and bosses. if i were remaking this game now, id probably remove or even completely Redo a Ton of the enemy designs (except the post-UNITRES Dreams enemies ... im kind of proud of them Lol !!)

thats just how things were. i didnt have enough time to focus on making character designs, so i didnt get to make a Ton of them and i had to make them Fast . in fact, early on in development, i hadnt really had much experience making character designs (as , before UNITRES, i didnt really make too many Original Characters for my games before), so i struggled experimenting and making characters for a lot of its development. And The Designs themselves .. a lot of them (even the ones i like) are pretty simple. Most characters are comprised of simple shapes and details , making them easy to draw and animate. and a lot of the early designs used Very Few Colors , which made drawing them quicker.

Despite All Of This , However, i am actually pretty proud of a lot of the designs ive made for this game (Especially the ones with the fancy new drawings i made here ..). while theyre simple, and while i wish i couldve made More characters with more unique designs , i really like the designs i got to make for this game ,with some of em being my favorite to draw even when im bored .. and i just felt like id talk about em.

the Main three characterz

"trees"

so first off , let me talk about "trees". before i can get into their Actual Design , let me tell u a bit of history so u can understand why theyre designed the way they are.

So . around November 6, 2018 , before UNITRES was really a thing , i designed the very first version of Trees that u can see above. while i didnt know what the game was going to Be , i had a Basic idea of what i wanted the Character to be from the very beginning. you see, Trees (the character) ,while having the same name as me , is Technically Not a self insert , Kind Of . I designed this character near the beginning of when i started entering a Very Low Point mentally in my life (which involves some personal stuff im not going to get into , Aswell as this point happening Around when Among the Others released) and i thought Very Negatively of myself . And So , this character is sort of an exaggerated version of the negative thoughts i had about myself at the time .

the main characteristics of the character was they Did Not Show Their True Emotions , instead bottling up their feelings and showing a very Fake , happy version of themself. theyre also kind of Fucked Up in the head and try to hide it . anyways theres more stuff going on with them that you can probably extract from both the games and the old descriptions in this concept art , but i wanna leave that as a surprise for when i get to make my next game. There Are some outdated things from the descriptions in the concept art , such as an idea where Trees would be Always Facing Forward , hiding away their backside. And Also , you may notice theyre referred to as "it" and "his" in this , which has well. Changed . teehee.

as for The Design Itself , i wasnt really sure what i wanted to go for at first. this character was actually one of the Few first Actual Character Designs i made at that point , so i didnt really have any idea on what to do. One day , i thought up of a Little Bear Looking character , and i tried drawing that character .. only for it to Sort Of look like a little fox-like character. and i imagined this character emoting mainly by very subtle details , such as the Hat and Ears changing shapes based on their emotions ..

Anyways , later that month , i drew the very first sprite of Trees , which ended up being used as the Idle sprite for the UNITRES tech demo. i wont be sharing What that sprite was originally for , as im saving it for Something , but i Will show you Trees' sprite evolution:

from left-to-right , it starts with the very first Trees sprite. Then there's the first revision, which was done when UNITRES Dreams started development. Then there's the second revision , done for the Newgrounds update in 2021. And finally, there's the TREES' ADVENTURE version, which is the current version of the sprite.

with the first version, the sprite is Pretty Close to the first concept art. However , iremoved the blue part in the tail as i couldnt get it to look good in sprite form (or i just forgot to include it.. idont remember). I also removed some details , such as the little hair and the red blush, as i couldnt really include them on such a small sprite.

Anyways , so how did the design mutate into the current design ? Well , over time , i ended up drawing their ears and tail Longer , and ended up giving them longer and longer limbs (as it was Hard to animate them with the tiny limbs they had). Eventually , it got to the point where i decided to just redo the sprites to make em consistent with how i was drawing them , and thats how i got the second revision.

But Then , i started consuming media Other Than Sonic ! i think the main thing that infected my brain was Spinel from Steven Universe ... while Trees' design Did have a bit of the sort of rubberhose , silly limbs before (along with a Bit of contorting their form , as u can see with the expressions in the original concept) , when i saw the steven universe movie , i saw spinel and was Immediately like " Oh My Goodness Gracious . I Need To Make My Character As Silly As Her". And so , I leaned more into the silly , stretchy limbs . You can see this in the following sprites:

Anyways , as i kept drawing them and consuming more Non Sonic media , i ended up experimenting more with their design and adding some small elements from my inspirations .. one of the other main inspirations was Wander Over Yonder ,where i decided to draw Trees' hat to be more Silly and Big , like Wander's hat. i also ended up perfecting how i drew Trees , giving them more Sharp lines , Bigger and Sillier "hands" and "feet" , making their tail Huge , and just giving them a nice silhouette that i like . By the time of the Newgrounds update , i realized Trees' sprites were kind of Outdated , so i ended up redrawing Most of their sprites , and ended up with the version you can see in the current version of UNITRES Dreams ..

And well , Im Really Really proud of how their designed turned out . I Like to draw them a lot. and i think the way their design evolved has ended up fitting with their Actual Character really well .. the sort of Round , Soft elements such as their Big , Blobby hands/feet and their cute , silly face make them look , on the surface , cute and Silly . But then you have the more Sharp lines and elements , such as with their head and tail which i think makes their character have a bit of depth .. if that makes sense .

Idk . im not good at words or describing things . i just think their design now works really well with what i want to go for . and hey , a lot of my friends have drawn them and have drawn them Really Really Well .. i particularly like how people interpret their design .. with some people leaning into the more Soft , cute elements of their design , while some have drawn them Really Really accurately .. its really cool and im thankful for everyone whos drawn them before ..

Last Thing ill mention about their design (and i guess this goes for Most of the other designs) : Most of the characters in UNITRES aren't really supposed to be any Specific Species . Theyre all just sort of weird , ailen-like characters who do not abide to any sort of rules or reality or whatever. Trees is just Trees ; they're not supposed to be a Fox or any sort of Real animal or species or whatever, and that goes for every other character.

so here's the very first designs of ?????? , who for now ill unofficially refer to as The Pink Character. When i first started development on UNITRES , i Knew i wanted there to be Three main characters: Trees, and two mysterious characters. and when i started work on UNITRES Dreams (back when it was known as UNITRES - BRAND NEW WORLD Edition) , i needed to create designs for them .. However , at this point i was still learning how to Properly Make Character Designs , and so i created the first sketch above ,and then created their first sprites , which . Well. I Ended Up Not Liking Their Design Very Much !

So . The whole point of this character is that they dont really know their own identity , with them not even having a Real Name . Their design was Supposed to be sort of Ambiguous .. However i was Not Sure what to do for their design . i wanted to make it so you couldnt really tell what their gender was (as originally , they were a girl ... but they do not have No Gender anymore) . However , when people first started testing the game , they just . thought they were a guy.

anyways . i just Did Not Like This Design . they didnt really have a Clear Silhouette .. they just didnt look like an appealing or memorable design to me. and i also i didnt like their color palette. So . when the game became UNITRES Dreams , i decided to completely redo their design . And Well ..

This is the first drawing of the new design. At First , i wasnt sure about their design , with things such as them being Pink and Having A Skirt, i was worried about Some People immediately being like "Oh , Theyre A Girl !".. but you know what ? Ive grown Very Very Attached to this design .. i think theyre both Cute and Recognizable , while still fitting the sort of character i was going for . Their sillouette , while not as Recognizable as the other characters , has enough goin on to where i think it is a bit recogniable and easy to read while still giving them a sort of Mystery regarding their identity .. if that makes sense . And their more monochrome palette compared to every other character helps sell that , i think .

i think theres probably some people out there who see this character as a girl , but i think theyre a good Non Gender Having character design . just cus theyre pink doesnt mean they gotta have Gender ! anyways , i love them. theyre my silly little strange creature. i hope you love them too .. there is so much i want to explore with this character in a future game .. and i think their new design has really stuck with me.

So , ??? , who i will refer to unofficially as The Blue Character, is supposed to Sort Of be the opposite of Trees (the character). they're Very Tired and Chill , not really too crazy or anythin. and i wanted their design to illustrate that, and well , out of every design ive made , theirs was pretty much perfect from the very moment i created them.

I dont know if i have any old concept of them on hand, but i Do have both the original sprites ,aswell as the newer ones which are pretty much the same as the old sprites , but more polished and with redone colors..

And, well. Yea . they didnt really change much ! The only aspects that changed was that i removed like , Two details that i felt cluttered up the sprites too much , that being the little Tired Eyebag/ whatever its called line beneath their eyes, along with the little Red Dot that was on their boots. Other than that , their design was pretty much Perfect. they were also pretty easy to make , as , with them being a sort of Opposite version of Trees , theyre pretty much based off Trees' design , except with a bunch of differences to make them feel like their own character (such as different body/head shape , a big silly hat , and Actual Boots).

there's nothing much for me to say about them. they're perfect.

suzy, wavey, and their little Shine Catcher

Alright . so before i can explain These characters , u need a little bit of History .

So. when UNITRES - BRAND NEW WORLD Edition was "finished" , i went on to help with RRThiel and his game, MEGA MAN PERFECT BLUE. as you can see here, i worked on various backgrounds and tilesets for the game. Anyways , at one point , ithought itd be cool to remake the Intro Stage in UNITRES , as a sort of tribute to the game and also as a little extra thing for the new update i was planning on making (which ended up becoming UNITRES Dreams).

at first, this was Just going to be two levels based off the Intro Stage from Perfect Blue , However , later in MMPB's development , one of the backgrounds I did for one of the levels ended up being Completely Redone by other people on the team ,as my background didnt really fit the game's style .. However , i still really liked this background .. so I decided to reuse it for a new level in UNITRES , with it also being a tribute to the level in MMPB (though its a lot more loose compared to the Intro Stage level , Lol).

This level ended up becoming Greenhouse Frenzy in UNITRES , and i ended up turning what once was just going to be a two level bonus into an entirely new campaign with its own story in UNITRES Dreams. and with it being a whole new campaign , i wanted there to be New Bosses and New Enemies ..

So , for Greenhouse Frenzy - Section 1 , I was planning on a new boss ... and this boss was going to be ... Mr. Sauceman !

You See , for UNITRES Dreams i wanted to go Hard with including all sorts of little tributes to my friends and the people who helped with the game . Mr. Sauceman , being one of the composers of the game , let me use his character from the game hes working on as a boss in the game , and i thought itd be nice to have him be in Greenhouse Frenzy ,since that level is pretty much a big tribute anywayz.

So , Originally , i wanted the Sauceman boss to start out with a little Fake Out . You See, the MMPB level that Greenhouse Frenzy is based off has a robot master that i asked RRThiel if i could use for the level , but he said no. So , I decided for this boss that i would create a silly character Inspired by the robot master from the MMPB as a silly little joke , but then Mr. Sauceman shows up and that character explodes . And So , I Designed Suzy , a character who , while inspired a bit by the character MMPB , was made to be a bit different and also to be used for a silly little fake-out intro and to die in 5 seconds . You can see this on the reference sheet , where she didnt even have a name and is just referred to as "GF2 Fakeboss".

However . Two Things Happened : 1) I Grew Kind Of Attached To This Little character I Designed , And 2) I Ran Out Of Time. i couldnt implement the fakeout that i had planned ... and i didnt have a boss fight for Greenhouse Frenzy - Section 1.... So. I decided to just. Make her the boss fight of GF1. it just made sense ! i Originally had planned a boss fight based on the Magik Master boss from Chaotic Carnival , but reusing the character design for the silly fakeout ended up being quicker , and so she ended up being an Actual Character in the game.

And Then There's Wavey . she is a robot. i originally designed her as an enemy for the Intro Stage tribute level (a.k.a , Perfect City) , as i wanted it to have its own enemy. Her design is also Some What inspired by one of the robot masters from MMPB , though not as much as Suzy's is.

Anyways , despite Suzy and Wavey being inspired by characters from MMPB , i wanted them to be different and have their own sort of Character . And well .. their actual Personalities are different to the ones from MMPB , at least . In UNITRES Dreams , there is a hidden "Storybook" mode , which contains various stories which add a bit of Worldbuilding into the game .. and one of the stories details Suzy and Wavey . Basically , Suzy is a lonely gardener , who lives alone on her own strange little planet , who then travels across the galaxy to the Perfect City , where she ends up meeting Wavey , a military robot who Suzy becomes fascinated with ..

Anyways . my writing aint exactly the best , and i Refuse to go and reread the stuff i wrote for the storybook mode in unitres . but i tried my best to make suzy and wavey their Own sort of characters , having their own identity compared to the characters theyre based on. Oh , and by the way , suzy and wavey are gay LOL !! and they have a little baby plant that they raise . this is also told in the storybook but i unfortuately didnt get to explore this Much outside of that in the game... though there Is a secret you can find in one of the levels.

So. what do i think of these characters and their designs ? Well. Honestly. Im Not Sure . when i designed them both , i still wasnt Totally comfortable with character designs as i am now , and honestly . theyre not my Favorite designs . Wavey in particular is just . Well . Shes Just Metal Sonic in A Hat . she has her own little differences , but i cant lie . i probably coulda done better with her design . and suzy i think hasnt aged as well either . Idk. Also. In Case You Cant Tell , I am BAD with coming up with names . So . Millie is the most self-indulgent design Ive created .

Here's how it went: one December day in 2020 , I was sitting around bored as hell , when all of a sudden , the Silly Brained part of me Saw an idea pop up: A Tall , Hot , Cute Clown Man . And Instantly , I KNEW I had to draw him . But I Was in the middle of a Zoom call ... So . I opened up IbisPaint on my old Android phone , and drew the First sketch with my fingers that you can see above . And Instantly I Knew : I Had Done It . I Made Perfection .

More ideas grew , and i realized : I Could Do Something With This ! So , later , I came up with a whole reference sheet for him , and started planning on something: I was going to make More characters for UNITRES Dreams . You see , at the time , I was working on the v3.0.0 update for the game. This was Very Very late in development , before i even Planned there being a Newgrounds version (and before ninjamuffin convinced me to Make the newgrounds version LOL !!). Anyways. for so long , iwas disappointed that i didnt get to make a whole lot of original characters for the game .Most of the characters were either Enemies or Bosses. there was Barely any NPCs (aside from the guest character apperances).

i Also Realized: Chaotic Carnival , one of the most Important levels in the game , needed More love . So. I decided i was going to make new NPCs just for it , so that the level could feel even More alive and lived in. And that's when i created the Silly Trio , which started with Millie.

As for Millie's design , there isn't much for me to say. he is perfect. i love him and he is one of my favorite things ive designed. Yes , it Is self indulgent . Yes , i Do Want Him Carnally . teehee. Anyways , after designing Millie , i knew i had to design more characters .. which leads me to..

Goldian and Ellie

Goldian is a tall , polygonal magician man. He is in love with Millie. They are canonically dating.

Ellie is a bunny-like clown girl. She likes to entertain people with magic. I think she might be asexual , but i wasnt very sure when i created her.

Anyways. there isnt much for me to say. i Could get into some of the Character Lore perhaps . Millie , Goldian , and Ellie are all characters with troubled pasts.. they all had to run away from their homes due to circumstances , and they managed to find the mythical Chaotic Carnival, where they all met and decided to become entertainers. It gives them purpose , to see people happy. And they work under the Magik Master , a strange magician who has the ability to bend reality at will. They're all like a sort of Found Family .

that's all ill say about them. theres so much more i want to do with them in the future... i love these characters so much. theyre my favorite designs ever.

Summary: It's been a couple months since the whole incident, leaving Whiteout all alone. Fortunately for her, she's got a friend that's just right. Yet, she just can't shake the feeling that she'll say something that'll scare him off like the rest of her old friends.

A/N: Hgdnjawa-- forgot I wanted to post this. Had it written up for a long while. Anywho, have some Thoughtout fluff!

Whiteout was used to being lonely. Not too many dragons could stand to be near her for long enough. Some would find her being a hybrid strange and avoid her. Others thought she talked strangely. Now, most dragons associated her with being the sister of the animus who killed Prince Arctic.

She never quite liked being around others, so it was a mutual feeling of distaste. They had ways of speaking to each other that were so detached from how she behaved. Unwritten rules and norms that they thought everyone would abide by. Whiteout supposed that she was hatched without that code written into her genetics.

But, she would be lying if she didn't say that the isolation was tiring after a while. The house was quiet all day now. Everyone she knew and loved was dead. Foeslayer was kidnapped and possibly dead. Arctic is extremely dead after the incident. Now Darkstalker is missing. Perhaps he was finally consumed by the fire and turned into ash, the remains dancing in the breeze.

She hated when the house was loud. Those nights when it seemed as though one of their parents would finally kill each other. The bad nights, as Darkstalker lovingly referred to them. Yet, a part of her missed that. Even if there was chaos and hatred, there was life in the walls. There was stirring. There was something of substance.

Now it's just her, alone. Nobody to turn to. No shoulder to cry on. No dragon to even say hello to when coming back from school or a day in the market. She was truly lonely now.

Whiteout was then broken out of her thoughts by the sound of the door knocking. A gentle, yet firm knock.

Well, saying she was 'truly lonely' would be a half-lie. She did have at least one other dragon. By the moons was he a keeper too. Her face lit up upon hearing the door and she quickly walked over, opening it up.

Before even seeing his face, she was hit with the sound of his breathing. That's what always stuck out to Thoughtful the most. Whiteout would always process certain things in a specific way, voices being the more common ones. Not that they would sound like that, but that their voice would convert into something anew for her. With Darkstalker it was with pine. With Clearsight it was fresh rain on a rock. With Thoughtful?

Blueberry pie. Her favourite dessert.

Thoughtful was standing before her, his left wing resting beside him a bit more lopsided than the right one. It was immediately noticeable, but Whiteout didn't comment on it. Rather, she smiled and said, "you didn't keep me waiting for long."

"Yep. Right when the sun touches the mountain tops, just like we agreed upon," he replied.

"Mh-hm. It's very nice of you to do that, by the way. Actually be on time. Nothing is quite as troubling as when some dragon is late than when they say so. Moons above, once I had to wait several hours for one of my clawmates to come by and return my paint tools. They said they were busy and couldn't get to me, but...well..." Whiteout closed her mouth. "Apologizes, I was talking too much again. It is very sweet of you to be on time."

"Oh no no, don't feel sorry for talking," Thoughtful assured her. "I love hearing you talk, actually. You're so much better to listen to than so many others." He let out a small chuckle. "It's nice. I don't have to step around eggshells when with you."

Whiteout blushed. She tilted her head and grinned back. She could sense Thoughtful's soul getting more plush and comfortable. "That's so sweet of you."

"Oh, and before I forget..." Thoughtful lifted up his wing a bit, revealing a bouquet of flowers. Multi-coloured wild roses, all forming into a mass of red, blue, pink and purple. "I went out into the fields. Took me hours to get it all ready for you."

She gasped. She grabbed the flowers, brushing her talons up against them. The touch of them instantly made her think of the sound of waves. "You didn't have to do this, really..."

"Why not?" Thoughtful asked, adjusting his glasses. "You deserve some colour to brighten up your life."

Whiteout's tail swished around anxiously. Her heart fluttered just hearing his voice. She placed it on the counter inside the house. "Well, where do you wish to go? I'm quite fine with anywhere."

He froze for a moment. "I was just about to ask you the same thing," he snickered.

"Oh. Uh..." She rested her head on her talons. "Hm. I am not too preferable to somewhere loud. Too many voices."

"Mh-hm. I get that. I don't want to be around others too. N-not that I don't want to be around you, I just..." He sighed. "You get what I mean."

"I do! I do. It's okay." Whiteout smiled back at him. "Well, let's go." She grabbed him by the talons, pulling him along. She ran out the door and into the streets.

"Whoah! Where are we going?!" Thoughtful yelled, just about stumbling over his own talons.

"Anywhere!" she said back to him. She opened up her wings. "Follow after me!" With one fell swoop, she lifted herself into the sky. Just as quickly, Thoughtful obliged. He trailed just behind, soaring above the houses and into the clouds.

It was fantastical. Rarely was she ever able to take advantage of her wings anymore. She hated being planted to the ground. Hovering through the air, speeding away at such high speeds. It was thrilling. Beyond anything she could describe. Nothing could ever compare to flying. The way her heart raced and the adrenaline from narrowly dodging a flock of birds. It was unlike anything else.

What made it better was to share this moment with Thoughtful. When she needed a friend, he was there for her. When she needed a place to go or a shoulder to cry on, he was there for her. When he had his troubles and anxieties, Whiteout would guide him through. Before meeting each other, they were both lonely. Both of them considered outcasts; weirdos, even.

But, with Thoughtful, Whiteout didn't feel that way. She felt as though she had somebody who cared about her. A dragon who understood the way she was. A dragon that she could listen to talk for hours and hours and never get bored of. A dragon who she...

She paused, considering that thought for a moment. Maybe it was true. Maybe it wasn't. Whiteout always liked to be vocal about her feelings, but she knew she had the tendency to ruin things by saying something dumb. Entire conversations would screech to a halt because she brought up painting or some new theory she's been studying. Even if she knew it was irrational, she didn't want to scare off Thoughtful. She didn't want to say something that could ruin this perfect bond between them.

"Whiteout?" Thoughtful's voice echoed through her ears. "Where are we going? Y-you still haven't answered that," he lightly chuckled.

"I haven't? Apologizes. I just got...lost in thought, I suppose." She shook her head. "I want to go to Stormseeker Peak."

"Isn't that quite a while away from the city? I mean, sure! That actually sounds great, not going to lie."

"Indeed, nobody goes there. The mountain is sharp to others who don't really know what it's like. It's...boring to them, right? That's the word they like to use?"

"Yeah, I remember our old teacher, Acedia, brought the class over there. You were there that day, weren't you?"

"Mh-hm. I remember it. All of the other dragonets wanted to jump around and play. I sat by the cliffside and watched the sky."

"Right! I vaguely recall seeing you do that. I was still too shy to walk up to you and talk to you..." Thoughtful scratched his chin playfully.

"You did? Aww, poor you..." she cooed. "But, it's a tranquil spot. I like to go there whenever I need inspiration. I'd love to be there with you."

"That sounds great! C'mon, race you!" Thoughtful dipped below the cloudline, disappearing below. Whiteout chased after him, the pair laughing and giggling the whole way through.

Hours later, they reach the spot. The mountain is a graceful spire that overlooked the ocean. The sun was just now beginning to set, turning the heavens above a vibrant gradient of oranges and pinks. Just high enough to get a good look without getting a headache from the altitude. Perfect in every regard.

Whiteout landed on a perch, taking in a breath of the salty air. "Moons above..." she whispered.

"It's beautiful," Thoughtful remarked. "I can see why you like coming here. I could stare at that sun all day."

"I mean...that's why we came here, no?" Whiteout beamed. "Exchange small talk and watch the sunset."

"Right! Yes. Nearly forgot." Thoughtful sat on the ground, overlooking it. "You...want to sit beside me?" he asked sheepishly.

Whiteout nodded. Wordlessly, she came right next to him. It was comfortable being right next to him. A feeling bubbled up in her, one that she could only equate to a lovely rich shade of blue. The same colour as a ripe blueberry, no less. It was an entrancing feeling, one that captivated her.

The moment was flawless. She was with Thoughtful, standing out over a cliff, watching the sunset. For the first time in a long while, everything was right. She wasn't bothered by her family issues or the weight of the world on her shoulders. It was as though she had been purified by it all.

But, of course, she had to be bothered by that dumb little thought again. The one she had earlier. The one that scared her ever so much. It was intimidating to even consider the option of saying it, but...maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea. It's Thoughtful after all. He's amazing. He's intelligent, sweet, and especially kind. He's everything that Whiteout could ever dream of.

So...she spoke. "Thoughtful?"

"Yes?"

"Is it okay if I say something stupid?"

"Mh? Yes, always. Of course."

"...I think I love you," she said. Instantly, she was hit with two separate emotions. Embarrassment and shock from how she finally confessed, but also relief. That one thought was out into the world at last. Free from the confines of her mind.

"I really do love you, Thoughtful," she continued. "I loved you since the day we first met. Everything about you makes me happy. From how you smile to how you let me talk. You are the first dragon I've ever met who cared about me that wasn't just a family member. You didn't reject me like the rest of them. You saw me, silver and gold and everything inside, and didn't run. You didn't laugh or point. You wanted to help me. You-" She paused for a moment before chuckling- "it's funny, the limitations of language. I try to sum up my thoughts on you, but words fail. It's quite sad."

"No, no, no." Thoughtful looked at her. "I think that was...beautiful, Whiteout."

"...so, how do you feel?"

Thoughtful stared at her, his mouth quivering. "I- you-" he stammered. Suddenly, he rushed in, wrapping his wings around her. "I love you too..." he whispered into her ear. "I'm so happy right now, I can't even-"

"It's okay." Whiteout patted him on the back. "We can stay like this for a while." She returned the hug. The two of them stayed like that for what seemed like ever, neither of them wanting to let go of the other. Everything was just right, and they wanted to keep it like that.

Himeko..... I was actually really excited to get to know Himeko more when I had first started off. I mean come on: she's so beautiful! But laksjdfh I think overtime she eventually stopped standing out for me that I lost interest. That plus now that I've played HI3, the reason why I like HSR! Himeko feels like it's only because of HI3 Himeko and the importance of Himeko in the HI3 plot and for many characters' developments 😭 Sorry Himeko

I guess KafHime tbh? I think aesthetically they're a very very pretty couple, but I just can't get behind it at all. Or I just have no reasons to get behind it since I'm not exactly invested in either characters. I'll write this as "favorite update". Penacony has been suuuuch a fun ride honestly. So I'll say that entire section has been tons of fun. As of now I still haven't finished it in its entirety, but I can sense 2.2's story will probably be my favorite because I've been waiting to get to know Robin more and the Watchmaker!! But 2.1 has been fun because I just love seeing Acheron's section of it heheh :)

saddest death:

UHHH as of now, I think Aventurine's death in 2.1 was really sad :/ Hoyo did a really good job writing Aventurine and his story that once you get to the finale of the 2.1, I found myself kinda torn on how it ended. Aventurine who placed his bets on his own death because that is what his good luck is good for - winning against all odds. The epilogue scene with Aventurine walking off into the Nihility's shadow kinda got me too. And this is coming from someone who is like very.... meh on Aventurine? I can't really bring myself to get super invested in him but objectively, he is a really well thoughtout and well created character. I just have no feelings towards him.

favorite season:

I'll write this as "favorite area". It's still Penacony askldjfahlsk There's sooooo many things happening in Penacony and I loved being able to put the pieces together to figure out what's going on. It's also the first area that I had nearly read all the readables in because I'd make it my goal to finish reading every readable and 100% every area before the next update in Penacony :> I want to better understand the area I'm in and give myself ideas for where the story can go. The second area would have been Belobog because it's the only other area I was trying to 100% and read all the readables for (are the readables important in Belobog? no but some of them sure made me cry a bit LMAO)

least favorite season:

"Least favorite area" Honestly... Herta's Space Station. But that could also be because when I first started HSR, I was still orienting myself to the new world, so the space station is the least i remember. It's not that I hated it; it's trying to orient you into the new world and I was just confused for majority of it. I just don't remember enough about it nor about the people within it to care for it.

not a beautiful cinnamon roll but she sure is beautiful but i love Jingliu 😭😭😭 one reason why i don't like interacting with majority of the fandom is because of their viewpoint on Jingliu's companion quest. I had way way clearer thoughts on the quest when it was fresh on my brain, but I actually liked it a lot more than the fandom let on about it, and I know that people were kinda shittalking about Jingliu afterwards and that made me Mad on her behalf because I think she's a really nicely thought out character. But then again, if you know me: white hair character who is defined by mourning and grief. you know the deal LKAJDHFALKJD

No one asked but I actually kinda lowkey ship Firefly/Robin. Like very very lowkey. My only reasoning is when 2.0 was fresh and i was in Mourning over Robin, I once sent a very giant and long essay to my friend N about me late night perusing and overanalyzing Firefly and Robin's deaths. like why specifically them ? Why did they have to die?

I took it in a very symbolic matter. I thought too much about Firefly's monologue about her answer to "Why do people slumber?" and her answer being "Because people are afraid to be awake" or something like that. And about how it was "If I can stop one heart from breaking" that played in the background of all this - a song that praises the comforts of a dream in the face of bleakness. In both cases, in my view, it felt like having both of them die at least in that update, the deaths also seemed to signal the idea of ceasing this concept of a dream and to face reality etc.

And that's something I'm super excited about based on where i am with HSR with arguing with Sunday over the concept of comfort vs freedom.

BUT BACK TO THE POINT OF THIS QUESTION: this concept and me fixating on their meanings, it gave me a reason to kinda put Firefly/Robin together. It's kinda nice parallel with each other in a way haha

Hi. I just read your most recent fic and I am so unwell about it actually. That was the most perfect thing i've ever read. Eddie's line about marriage vow best friends!!!

It got me thinking about Eddie in season 6. I've been trying to figure out what was going through Eddie's brain thoughtout season 6 for ages and I think your fic finally helped me figure out most of it.

Specifically when you mentioned buck only feeling worthy of love when he's been injured. This combined with the post of yours that I saw earlier today about Eddie waiting for Buck has me thinking.

Like you said, Eddie knows he is in love with Buck but he is waiting for him at the beginning of s6. This continues right through 6a with the sperm donor arc - where Eddie definitley doesn't agree with Buck's descions. I think it's because Eddie already knows Buck is a part of the Diaz family and already has a kid. It serves as a reminder that Buck isn't seeing the options in front of him. But Eddie keeps waiting

Now this is the bit that your fic gave me an idea about. After the lightning Eddie has just been felt what it is like to live in a world without Buck and there are enough parallels between it and Shannons death that its safe to say eddie is being reminded what it is liek to lose a partner. I was expecting him to do something like the will reveal, only a step further. But he doesn't. Becacuse Eddie sees Buck and he knows that Buck is used to only being loved after he is injured and Eddie doesn't want to do that to Buck because he loves him regardless. So he waits. I think that is maybe a reason why he didn't come to Buck's place. Eddie is still waiting for Buck in Death and Taxes and maybe he feels like Buck is finally in a place where he's started to heal emotionally and maybe he could do or say something soon. and then Buck hits him with the 'she sees me'. And that's when Eddie becomes a bit more open about the dates. Eddie was waiting all this time because he sees Buck and he knows he had to figure things out and how he might feel about all the attention right after the lightning and then he realised Buck doesn't seem to see any of it at all.

Yeah I don’t think all of the leaked photos could have come from her IG / IG stories. If I remember correctly there was a photo of her in a bathtub and maybe another one with some skin showing? Can’t remember exactly but even if it was a private account, I highly doubt she would be posting photos like on the internet. Also considering there were photos of the other BP members and some other celebrities as well (pretty sure a couple photos of Jimin were also in there if I remember correctly) there was definitely some sort of a leak from the inside. Or maybe someone collected photos from different sources. And then there’s the Jisoo photo that Gurumi had before she had even posted it. So definitely someone from the inside. Some of J’s photos could have been from her private IG sure, but I highly doubt that, that was the only source.

And just to be clear I still think the “leaked” photos from last year of the couple are not real. There’s too many weird things and mistakes for them to be un-edited. But someone definitely had access to their private photos.

well first and foremost her favorite color wouldn't be black... the writers are wrong about this and i will scream this from the heavens...

but seriously all jokes aside, i'm happy to talk a bit about what i would've wanted for nini going forward, should things have gone in a more... continuous direction from her ongoing arc through season 2 that began in season 1.

even just that conversation she and gina had in the season 2 finale threw me for a bit of a loop at the end there admittedly. 'wow nini you're so good at lifting people up you're a wonderful supportive friend' apparently equals 'nini you should go work on music professionally in la with my music producer older brother who solely exists this season because jordan fisher cameo and because it's a great and easy way to write nini off the show'.

also for the same convo- the whole 'the chocolates were about me and you'... makes zero sense given... literally every ounce of context to the situation up to and including the fact it's a stretch to say gina and nini have much of a friendship... the majority of the time... let alone one where nini thought gina 'should finally truly trust' her. but that's not relevant to this post. i can rant about that later.

but what i think would've been a fantastic storyline for nini in the future, should i be writing her, would be to do something with one of her most consistent character traits- how much she really is at her best when she's supporting her friends and lifting other people up, as gina says. so much of what makes nini, well- nini, is how she feels when surrounded by people who she loves who love her back. that was one of the biggest issues with yac, it was so cold and impersonal. and it stifled her creativity, which is also a huge problem for nini whose arc is about finding her individuality, but i think the extent to which nini needs (or at least values, bc y'know- Independence) community is something the show drives home... a lot. or it sort of does- and i extend it in my mind bc it's consistent and i appreciate those things that actually are... consistent.

what i would want to do, following the lines of her conversation with miss jenn in the car in 2.04 (a very crucial scene actually), and following her actions in 2.12 where she does miss jenn's job for her and boosts ricky's confidence when no one else could, is have her lean into a position where she could support her fellow cast mates and become something of a leader. like was what she decided to do with emily in 202 a little bit of a rash move for such a stuffy private school, yeah, but she Did Something, and that's very nini. she made something new out of what they were given... what i think would be a very well thoughtout storyline for nini, is becoming the assistant director / director's assistant to miss jenn at east high. alternatively, should miss jenn take a step back while she focuses on actually acquiring a teaching credential and such, maybe miss jenn could advise nini while she takes on the role of a student director, or even a co-director like lily was at north high apparently.

nini loves theatre in the sense that it gives her this community of people who love to create and tell these stories... stories that maybe sometimes she's too afraid to tell in her own words ala her conversation with her lola in 101.

like here's the thing, nini's songwriting is something she's been doing this whole show... it's not inconsistent for her to want to try to do something with that obviously, she's learning that it's okay to dream big, do things for herself, but her songwriting shouldn't be nini's big achievement that satisfies her entirely, because that's something that would inevitably become either isolating, stifling (because chances are it'd become more about writing what others want from her, or maybe, if they'd gone in the direction of her take an attempt at doing Songwriting professionally, and not having her be like- a singer songwriter in her own right, writing music for other people... wouldn't be very satisfying for our nini. nini's songwriting is heavily personal, and it's about her finding her voice... a way to say the things she can't say out loud or sometimes even admit to herself...

there are valid questions to be made about why on earth nini thought it was appropriate to drop the l word for the first time to ricky on a public instagram post... given she of all people would know that that would be... a lot for him... but a) nini can be a touch impulsive when her feelings are strongest (this is something else fairly consistent about her), and b) i think saying i love you for the first time for nini... was probably a pretty scary thing... and that song- though she probably should've played it for him privately in her room and not- posted it on instagram, was probably the only way she could have the courage to actually say it to him. nini (particularly season 1 nini), has a hard time speaking for herself. the feigned confidence she displays through 1a... is an interesting storyline because of it. it's why so much of a lot of that stuff she's doing there can feel so surface for some people. she's pretending... though in a different way than of course say ej is.

but yeah- pursuing songwriting could've been her season 3 arc, but it wouldn't have logically worked out as nini's longterm end goal passion... it doesn't fit with her character arc from my perspective. it should've failed as a Big Dream Opportunity like YAC inevitably did... and then nini would be brought to realize what she actually likes about theatre... and it's about people. that's why i want to see nini directing... she's good with other people, and she really is at her best supporting them. little miss chorus line from 101 has been gabriella, she's tried the Serious Acting School, she's been a fork again (and truly just been happy to be a part of this with her peers), and she's seen that what she loves is the joy of bringing this spirit to other people. the confidence that gabriella gave her by the end of season 1! like look at her little scene with steph about her first named part! this is what nini's meant for.

nini being a theatre teacher one day like miss jenn (but better than miss jenn of course, given... everything)... would honestly be a way more consistent story than nini maybe being a popstar in the next few years (and i'm SO INCREDIBLY GRATEFUL that the writers didn't just jump headfirst into doing that for her sendoff this season.)

Spring reading challenge update #2

I am half way done with the challenge, I honestly thought I wouldn't manage to keep up with it so well. But I have a feeling that the next few prompts will take a bit more. At the moment I have two more books on my currently reading pile for this challenge, but I think both will take a little while to finish. For the ramaining two I still have no idea what to read, and I hope I'll find something from my unread shelves, since these challenges have been a blessing to finally pick up books I had sitting sround for so long.

Animal Farm by George Orwell for the banned book prompt

I wasn't sure on what to pick for this prompt. The first thing I checked was what books got banned in Italy thoughtout history, wikipedia tells me that only a couple of books got banned during the fascit dictatorship, because they were agains military propaganda. I then randomly found on a bookstore site an article talking about banned books they were advertizing. A lot of really interesting titles were on the list, but this one stood out because it had been on my tbr for a long time. Animal Farm has been banned in a lot of countries in the world, first off in the Soviet Union, as well as in Kenya, in the Arab Emirates, North Korea, China and many more. I ended up listening to the whole audiobook during a car ride, and I loved every single minute of it. I really want a physical copy to annotate.

I've had this collection of short stories on my bookshelves for so damn long. Finally this challenge conviced me to pick it up. As I have said in the review post, my opinions on this book are a bit confused, because I loved a few stories, while others really left me completly neutral. I couldn't have cared less, which isn't good. As I have said in that post I don't think that happened because the stories wheren't good, but because they simply weren't a genre I really like. So overall if you are interested in hte book I recommend it. There's some great stories, with powerful character that you really want to get to know. It's a good collection of stories, because they have a main theme which is women and witchcraft, but they are really differenciated from one another. Everyone can find a story they like, and the cast of characters is really diverse which is always really nice to see in a book.

I wanted to ask if you've ever gotten an ask (not me) of a well thoughtout fic of any pairing? What would you say to motivate people to try and write their stories? When people give you an idea what typically goes through your head?

Theres so many ideas, plots and prompts to choose from and write but sometimes it gets difficult for some poeple to get that inner courage to post their work.

If you don't mind me asking, what made you finally hit submit on your work?

Also, i'm a Hp Romione fanfic writer, but I do struggle with trying to upload my work whether it's here on tumblr or on A03. I've gotten give or take about 7-8 semi finished WIPs, which are all based on different varieties of prompts/ideas.

Yet, I don't know how to move on to the submitting process which is like the finished stage of writing. I've tried joining the Romione discord but I always get nervous with the huge amount of people that are on the server, it's great don't get me wrong but it's a bit intimidating. When I say that I mean that there's so many amazing writers, and artist on the server, makes me feel like my writing isnt worth posting. I know it sounds pretty lame but I cant help feeling that way.

Sorry for rambling but I just had to ask you a few questions, don't feel obligated to answer quick. I'd like you to take your time with this.

first of all, thank you so much for your kind words. I'm happy you like my stories 💛

Now to answer your questions.

1) Aside from one a little more detailed, very smutty Romione time travel story idea, I never got an ask with a full outline of a story.

2) To anyone who wants to try and write, I'd say, please do. There is always someone who wants to read your story and if you like the idea, then someone else does too. Writing is usually not a skill you are just good at, but something that takes practice. If you read a lot of fanfiction, pay attention to the writing style and see what would work best for you until you find your own style.

3) I like prompt writing, so if someone gives me a prompt I play out different scenes in my head. The prompt shouldn't be too specific, but I don't mind working with something a little bit more detailed.

4) As for the courage to post your work: I posted my first fanfiction many years ago and I just had the desire to write down my idea. When I published it I didn't think much about it beforehand. I just posted it and was very surprised when I got reviews. The fic doesn't exist anymore, btw. Like I said before, practice makes perfect and I wasn't happy with it when I reread it. I also fell out of that fandom, so I wasn't very attached to it either. BUT this is how I got into writing and I just kept trying. For years I didn't write anything and I only started again in 2019.

I joined Tumblr and through Tumblr I found a bunch of very supportive fandom folks and sometime later I joined the HPRomione Discord. I understand your hesitation and worry considering the many talented writers in the server, but to me you couldn't find a more supportive group of people. Everyone is so helpful and as long as you respect and are considerate of people's boundaries (like smutty prompts, etc.), you are more than welcome to discuss fic ideas with us. And even if you don't want to discuss your writing, you can also talk about Romione in general, stories you read and enjoyed, and also non-fandom topics.

Don't be afraid to join and talk about your WIPs. Talking about story ideas is one of our favourite past times. As I said before, you'll find many helpful people there who would be happy to beta-read and/or go over your story idea and plot lines.

Hi, you are one of the few blogs who write really intelligent well thoughtout metas for Skam. Can you suggest more such blogs I could follow. Suggest anyone, really. I trust you. Vapid fangirling has its benefits, but I need to balance it with some quality analysis and opinion pieces. I'm sadly not able to find many such. I do not mean to sound condescending to other members. Each fan has equal worth in fandom but I am just not able to easily find what I want, could be looking in wrong places.

@lightsandlostbells is inactive these days, but posted some of the best and most comprehensive posts comparing the remakes to Skam. And by doing so, pinpointing what made Skam so special and where the remakes were failing. I made an easy list of all her reaction posts. I still eagerly await her wtfock s3 post which will probably murder it.

@norgestan has written some really good meta for Skam España, and is making her way through the other remakes as well. In her posts, she has pointed out things that had escaped my notice or I hadn’t seen as harmful. Super worth it, particularly if you’re interested in Noora seasons.

@norwaydumpsterfireremakes should be listed in any such rec post tbh. Her interpretation of the remakes from a (US) postcolonial POV should be required reading for any Skams fan, just to get people to watch these shows more critically. If you’re interested in any Skams character of color, then follow asap.

 @floraflorenzi doesn’t post meta all that often, but when she does, it’s well-written, concise and decisive. Flora was one of the people whose posts I would keep reading before I made my own tumblr. I also consider her gifsets to be meta in animated form, because she makes her points by highlighting certain scenes and dialogue.

 @naybetamira has posted a bunch of Skam España meta. Her writing style is more warm and loving, for a change of pace. 💛

@cfgc I started following recently, specifically because I was interested in her analysis of Lola Lecomte’s sexuality. I don’t even like Skam France or watched Lola’s season, so that should tell you how interesting I find her posts to be. 😛 I would also recommend her tags to the gifsets she reblogs. (As I would with pretty much everyone else on this list.)

With Amira Naybet’s season coming up, I would also check @rumaan (white hijabi), @nolabballgirl (hijabi of color) and @overthemoonwithme to get the perspectives of Muslims and/or women of color. I can’t remember if Overthemoonwithme is Muslim (sorry 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♂️). 

If you for some reason feel like venturing out to twitter, @procrastinatingbisexual is there at @zoskazu, and her understanding of her own generation (Gen Z) and female characters have influenced and impacted the way I think about these characters, particularly for Druck and lovleg. (She’s currently into The Umbrella Academy but I’m hoping the upcoming seasons bring her back to the fold gvvhvh.) 

@skamenglishsubs posted a commentary series going over cultural and subtext elements in Skam, which I recommend if you want to have a better understanding of the motifs Julie Andem used for each season. 

And finally, though you asked for meta, I do want to recommend a couple of gifmakers, because their gifsets have often made me notice a detail I overlooked or a microexpression that informs a character: @matteoflrnzi, @kikimachwitz, @katyazhuravlik, @naslostcontrol.

Hickory: (named after the hickory tiger moth. Honestly a little shaky on that name still but it's growing on me.) She's a Beetlewing from the time of Clearsight in Pantala. She's actually not too pleased with the changes that Clearsight is trying to make around those parts. (She was birthed from the idea of not everybody being excited about worshipping a new dragon who came out of nowhere.) I've actually mentioned her once before when I talked about an OC of mine with extreme opinions that gets a little controversial. Haven't looked at her in a while sadly.

Dreamseeker: A Nightwing born a couple of hundred years after canon. She's a pretty famous bard who travels all over Pyrrhia. Honestly I just loved the idea of a dragon bard. I actually have some decent concept art of her somewhere....

River: Born a Princess to the Rainwings, River was never happy in her- his scales. Luckily for him he met a certain Nightwing bard and started traveling with her. They fall in love and it's adorable....

Okay if you didn't get what I was saying River is trans. Honestly it didn't start out that way but as I wrote the character he kind of took a life of his own. Man I need to come back to these guys. They're adorable!

Probably Blue. At least on a base level. I immediately felt for the whole getting into someone elses head and think about what they must be feeling.

Pantala: Third times the charm. Haha. I would be a Silkwing and my name would be Swallowtail. I'd have the coloring of an old world swallowtail butterfly.

GoT Theory/Speculation:

When I say this is a theory/speculation thats exactly what it is! it's not something I hope to see happen or even know if it will!?? It's just something I could see happening and making narrative sense. So please don't hate on me Dany & Jonerys stans!!

Now before I begin I should just go ahead and say now that I'm not one known for writing detailed metas or whatnot so I hope this doesn't turn out to be too bad. Anyways let's get into it!! For the longest time there has been a popular theory that Dany will go mad and become dark, not only is it a popular theory but there's also foreshadowing in the books from what I've heard and seen in the show. I was and am certain this theory is starting to become quite apparent and obvious to where Dany's path is headed.

Especially after losing Jorah, Missandei, Rhaegal, a huge chunk of her armies, and the fact that she has competition for the throne (a. K. a. Jon her nephew, even though he doesn't want it); something she's worked her whole life trying to obtain!! Moving on in a sense. Thoughtout the series it's been expected and even foreshadowed that Dany will Burn Kings Landing and I believe this will happen but I don't think it'll be the only bad thing she'll do this last season!!? Especially since her burning Kings Landing is so expected, I have a feeling shes gonna do something very unexpected and this unexpected thing is what will make fans end up hating her!?

Emilia who plays Daenerys even says that she'll end up doing all kinds of weird shit this season and she also says “Knowing that is going to be a lasting flavor in someone’s mouth of what Daenerys is ...."

Anyways my theory is that Dany won't just burn Kings Landing but also Winterfell too!!?? I think Dany will burn Winterfell because of Sansa, here me out. It's definitely no secret that Dany and Sansa don't think very kindly of the other, and has a great amount of tension with each other, and Dany has become somewhat paranoid already. Dany has threatened Sansa more than once and brought her up quite a bit to Jon (still have hope in political Jon btw).

She told Jon not to tell his family and he did and he promised to have them not tell anyone, and yes Sansa did but I don't think any less of her or hate her at all. Unlike some people who are blowing up over her telling Tyrion, out of proportion. I think one way or another Dany will find out Sansa knows and told people, Tyrion told Varys and others found out and some of them are already wanting to switch allegiances or at least are plotting against her. Dany will not like that at all and she'll blame Sansa, I think then she'll fly to Winterfell and burn it!?

Perhaps Alys will die because of it and someone will mistake her for Sansa. I also have a feeling that if Dany burns Winterfell, Sam, Gilly, Little Sam, and Tormund will all die!!?? Sam, Gilly, Little Sam are staying in Winterfell and Tormund hasn't left there yet. Ive seen some Youtubers react and that to them in episode 4 of s8 it seems like an almost permanent/never to see each other again goodbye. I hope this doesn't happen cause it would be heartbreaking as fuck!!

Also to note though Jon didn't have a goodbye scene with Sansa, Bran, or really Ghost so it could possibly foreshadow they'll end up making it out alive!? Dany burning Winterfell and possibly killing a majority of Jon's friends and to be believed "Sansa" would make Jon go fucking nuts!! He would hate her with a passion and IDK maybe that could or would drive Jon to work against Dany with Cersei if the Golden Company and Euron betray Cersei for Dany!? Cersei would need allies a.k.a Jon. I believe Sansa, Bran, Podrick, Brienne, and Ghost would make it out of Winterfell alive.

It's been stated that Sophie and |ssac had been spotted filming at the Dragonpit so maybe after Winterfell burns that's where they will have to end up going, idk. And I don't think Briennes story is over yet so she could still be alive too. From what I've heard mentioned, there was also foreshadowing in the books that a dragon would possibly burn Winterfell. Anyways so in summary, I think that an angry, paranoid Dany will burn Winterfell killing Jon's friends, and to be believed cousin and Jon will join Cersei or kill Dany himself.

Reuniting with Bran and Sansa later on in Kings Landing, possibly!? BTW I don't think all of Kings Landing will burn just the red keep where all the people are at, I also think Cersei will leave the red keep knowing full well that Dany will probably come and burn it, killing the ones inside but not her cause she's fled. It's a bit far fetched in a sense ik but it does make sense, let me know what you think and please no hate, and I'm sorry it's not better detailed. General:

He as born on July 28 in a hospital in Osaka, Japan and was given the name of Hattatsu Tsūrunaka (first-last Name).

He was an awfully quiet baby, mostly observing his surroundings and people, wanting to soak up as much information as he could with his wide eyes. He was awfully observant as a babe and picked up on a of things even at such a young age. It made him look rather serious and angry to say the least but it honestly added onto his his cuteness.

The day Hattatsu got his quirk was a bit of a wild day. He was in the park with his mother and dog, happily throwing around a ball when playing fetch with their dog. When it was Hattatsu’s turn to throw the ball, he sneezed mid throw which somehow activated his quirk and made the tennis ball grow at least 50 times it size. Both his mother and dog and everyone around them were extremely shocked and surprised at what they had just seen, but their shock turned into awe soon and claps went around for Hattatsu to congratulate him on finally getting his quirk and for the force it seemed to have.

After that day, He started practicing on his quirk more, using smaller objects and making them bigger. It took a lot of energy from him but he was a real strong kid and would train himself for hours to be able to both make the object big, and keep it that way for a while, soon moving up to making multiple objects bigger and holding their form.

It wasn’t until he was in middle school when he realized just what else he could do with his quirk. Not only could he enlarge an object by a great amount but he could also increase the speed and the destructive force of that object.

And true to how he was as a baby, Hattatsu grew up to be rather serious and took lots of his classes and training seriously. He had a strict regimen that he followed everyday to keep himself and his quirk in peak condition. He wants to be the best he can be in order to make both his mother and late father proud.

With this in mind, he didn’t get to make many friends and only really greeted people if he walked by them and said his goodbyes after school before going home.

And contrary to how he may look, he isn’t interested in becoming a hero for the fame and glory, but he’s in it for the money.

Much like Ochaco, he wants to be a hero to earn enough money to support his mother. He believes that after everything she has done and sacrificed for him, the least he could do is give her the majority of his earnings to make her life easier. He and his mother sometimes get into arguments about it, but he is determined to help his mother in any way he can.

With all that in mind, Hattatsu  immersed himself in his training and studying to hone his skills to use his quirk efficiently and get noticed by some top schools. He kept all his grades up and made sure to get perfect scores on all his physical exams and training.

When he got into Seijin Academy, he and his mother were extremely happy and excited that he had gotten into a rather good school. The school was known for its discipline and intense courses and was known to have birthed many great Pros so it was just perfect for Hattatsu.

With that being said, Hattatsu made sure to be even more rigid with his schooling. He easily became the top student in his class, always passing his homework, schoolwork, and exams with flying colors. There has never been a time where he has gotten less than an A- on anything.

However, he isn’t a jerk about it. He rarely boasts about his grades and actually helps his fellow students a lot with their school work when t comes to subjects they are weak in.

Like Momo, he holds lots of study/homework sessions at his house (since he is an off campus student) every Saturday. He lets students from any and all classes come to his house for a full day, spending an hour or so on different topics before giving them a little quiz to do to see if what he had been tutoring them on has really payed off.

In doing this, Hattatsu was able to make a lot more friends. People were pretty surprised that he was so open and talkative despite his serious outlook and they often describe him as being rather blunt but in a humorous way.

His closest friends are the Yellow Ninja Twin babes, Ezra (the one with his left eye covered) and Dezna (the one with his right eye covered), the Green Ninja Babe, Hanzo and their group name is called the Seijin 4.

He is dubbed the “Dad” of the Seijin 4 because he is always nurturing and protecting his friends with everything he has. He always gets them out of trouble or funks they may be in, always lending them a helping hand when he knows they need one.

And just like fathers, his jokes are usually dad jokes that he makes unironically. It’s just how his humor is. Sometimes he’ll say a dad joke and his friend will burst out in laughter and he’s just very confused as to why they’re laughing so hard.

When he is being funny though and wants to crack a joke, his jokes are usually lengthy but boy do they make you weak. They’re so skillfully told and thoughtout and they will bring you to your knees in a fit of laughter.

He is usually modest but can point out someone else’s faults/weakness. He doesn’t do it on purpose, but sometimes he can’t help but point out someone’s weakness/fault when in combat or when he is trying to correct them if they come to him for help.

He can also be a bit of a jerk because he is pretty blunt from time to time. He doesn’t see the point in withholding the truth and will always say what is on his mind, although he will apologize if he has realized he has hurt someone

Respects women 100%. There is nothing he wouldn’t do to help any woman in need. If they need something from the top shelf, he’ll get it for them. If he is approaching a door with a woman behind him, you bet he opens the door and steps aside to let her in first. If he’s at the lunch table and one of his friends that’s a girl comes to sit down, he will offer up his seat or help her push in her seat. And lord, if he ever sees a girl crying you can bet he will drop everything he is doing to help her out. He will be her shoulder to cry on or let her vent all her frustrations to him, giving her advice where need be and if she asks for it.

However, Hattatsu is actually shy around girls most of the time too. I think it’s pretty safe to say that Hattatsu — well, the Seijin 4 in general — is a heartthrob and he often gets love letters and confessions from different girls and even boys and he just gets so flustered. Each time he gets one his face outmatches the color of roses and tomatoes by a landslide. Even the tips of his ears and neck turn a deep scarlet color with each and every love confession he receives.

Around boys, he’s just very stiff and nods. He really doesn’t know what to do when guys confess to him. He knows girls are a lot more soft and fragile than men are and knows how to deal with them, but he is completely clueless on what to do when guys confess.

He showers twice a day and uses Bulgari soap to give him that manly smell. He also uses unscented shampoo because he doesn’t want to have clashing scents on him. He makes sure his nails and teeth are always clean and makes sure not to touch his face too much to avoid acne.

He also does a lot of the House chores and lets his mother rest whenever he gets the chance. Things like laundry, gardening, washing the dishes, feeding and washing the dog, and other general House cleaning duties are all the things he does in his free time to help take the burden off his mother’s shoulders.

He will always let you sleep on him if you need it. However, your favorite date with him (which is something you guys do quite often now) is when he took you in his truck to a large field of grass and flowers. There, he had let you frolic in the grass and flowers whilst he took pictures of you and soon set up a photo timer system so that he could join you and still capture more moments. Afterwards, he told you he had another part to your date and asked that you stay in the front of the truck whilst he bustled about behind it.
