really feeling a gr.oss estranged parent x offspring or a pair of siblings that get reunited thing rn. like maybe the parent or older sibling was in jail or just left one day, or the younger got adopted when they were a kid and is now old enough to be searching for their bl.ood relative. (also willing to make this grandparent x grandkid)

someone getting c.atfished by someone they know/are related to. at first it’s sweet and harmless but then the c.atfish starts making l.ewd demands? and the one being c.atfished either goes along with it because they’re genuinely into them and wants to make them happy, or for a darker aspect, maybe they get b.lackmailed into doing it? and eventually they find out who is c.atfishing them because the drama!! idk just feeling a nasty c.atfish plot.

Hello dear pasta. I’ve come to scream about jane and matt, because why not??

Jane almost dying after swallowing a random memory from foggy? Iconic. I hope the memory was something good though. Maybe something silly like him trying to ride a bike as a four year old and failing miserably, or the first time he ate sushi, put too much wasabi on it and had to drink copious amounts of liquid to soothe the burning!!

But, i feel very bad for matt too. This man can’t catch a break with people he’s on the brink of losing, can he? So i get his overprotectiveness tbh, but oh man do i love jane and her backstory. If you sold this as a standalone book id definitely buy it, like ive never heard about such an eloborate backstory in a fanfic??? God bless that you walk along us mere mortals on this earth pasta!!

I do feel after this, at least for a little while, Jane can reign as queen of the, 'Weirdest Way I Almost Died' club, because yeah, choking on Foggy's memory and almost dying because of it? They'll have to work to beat the strange factor. I can also confirm it was a good memory, cause if you're gonna choke to death on one, may as well be a pleasant one, even if it doesn't feel that way when it's stuck in your esophagus. 😂

Matt really does have sorta shitty luck here, yeah. He's got a history of losing people and these people he loves just keep winding up in danger, or almost dying in ways he doesn't quite expect them to. It naturally ends up putting him a bit on edge, like you said, especially with something like this with Jane where it is such an unknown, and something he can't really fight against. There is no going into the thread to haul her ass out of the water, there's no shoving his hand down her throat there to pull that stupid rock out, so he's just kind of... stuck waiting to see if she makes it out of whatever she's fighting. Poor guy.

And thank you SO SO MUCH! 😭 I tried to make all the backstory and plotlines just as elaborate and detailed as I might a book series, so I could practice what I'd learned about connecting plotlines, laying out clues, and building it all up slowly. I really do want to get published one day, so ya'll are getting every trick and lesson I've ever picked up over the years, and I am endlessly grateful for the response TRT's gotten! 🥰

Seriously guys this is my favourite Final and First eps of a season. 

100% one of my favourite two parters, if not my all time favourite two parter

Great direction, good story, excellent bad guys, good acting, just enough suspense with out being too drawn out, something for everyone, comes of the back of a fun as fuck episode (1969), Hammond has a big part, Davis is there, lots of cute Sam/Jack and of course, Daniel’s Elf Hair. 

Also the Tok’ra are actually useful in this one which is SHOCKING

most hits: tied for last. ffnet doesn’t show hits, but as of this post, it has nearly 1.4 million. i might have talked about this here before, but it’s strange being 99% sure that something i wrote when i was sixteen (and which i have ... complicated feelings toward) is probably going to be the thing i write in my lifetime that’s the most read. i love that people have enjoyed it, but what a weird cocktail of emotions!

favorite fic i wrote: toxicology, definitely. it might be my favorite thing i’ve ever written. i spend a lot of time thinking, if i could just do this thing or that thing, i could have a stylistic breakthrough and write a whole piece in a way that i love ... i think toxicology is probably the only thing i’ve written where i feel like i actually made the breakthrough. but i’m still fond of unsinkable, my titanic tomione AU (more corporate espionage!), which i think has a good shape to it. and this untitled blaise zabini drabble is probably the oldest thing i’ve written that i have unmitigated positive feelings toward.

fic i want to rewrite/expand on: ad infinitum, which is this bonkers science-fantasy forward-in-time time-travel tomione AU that i stopped writing halfway through college. i still sort of love it, and i’ve had the remainder of the fic outlined for years, so maybe i’ll come back to it. tbh, i would love to rewrite/heavy-edit nearly all of my older fics... especially with tied for last and have a nice day, where i think that they’re fun concepts with decent bones impacted by the fact that i was a child, i’m like... this is wasteful, to let them sit there in their current state. but am i really going to rework a 250,000 word behemoth instead of working on a new story? doubtful.

share a bit of a wip or story idea you’re working on: i haven’t started the next chapter of Disappearances yet, so i have no fic excerpts to share! so lol um here’s a snippet from my 2021 book, Alone Out Here, which will be out next fall! it was pitched as Lord of the Flies in space, which is not inaccurate. the concept is that in 2072, the First Daughter and 53 other teenagers wind up on the only ship that escapes a dying earth, and must grapple with their own humanity as they try to build a functioning society aboard.

Before the announcements, we used to pose awful hypotheticals to each other. My friends and I were like that when we were fourteen: morbidly curious, or maybe just morbid. We huddled under blankets at night and murmured questions about scarcity and disaster. Which three things would you bring to your desert island? Which three people would you choose for your team in Armageddon? If you were about to be stranded in the wasteland, if all the movies came true, if everything went wrong, what would you save?

We never settled on answers. Lilly always fell asleep halfway through, and the next morning, Marcus would switch his choices back and forth, clarifying the rules of the universe over breakfast. “Is there internet in this wasteland?” he’d ask. “If I brought my headset, could I have unlimited games?”

Lilly would sigh and say, “God, Marcus, what sort of amateur apocalypse do you think this is?” and I’d laugh until I got hiccups.

Four years later, I remember those mornings with digital clarity. The cozy blear of them, the pikes of sunlight angling through Lilly’s kitchen window, the sweetness of 2% milk. I remember how unreal the idea of catastrophe felt. Maybe that’s what I’ll miss the most: the sense of security, so insulating that I could stare at the concept of total loss, as searing as the sun, without feeling like I was going blind.

It was like a drug, wasn’t it? The thrill of imagining danger, knowing you were safe?

Cryptid: What kind of otherworldly/cryptid/folk lore being do you identify with the most and why?

hmmm-- that’s a tricky question because as a kid i went through several phases where i really wanted to be a mythical creature. and i took this so seriously that i would do things like take ritualistic baths at midnight under a full moon to become a mermaid, making my own wand and spellbook, and talking to nature in the hopes it’d make me a fairy queen. 8′)

i guess now i identify the most with ghosts, but like,,, a napstablook kind of ghost? they’re just a straight up mood tbh, also i love the dramatics of Dying But Not Really.

Forest: What's your favorite place to explore?

i really like exploring wooded areas/forests! there’s a small river that runs fairly close to my house which i could spend hours following (and one very sleep-deprived day i did! i slipped in mud, got scratched by a bunch of thorny plants, and emerged out of the woods looking a haggard gremlin. overall it was a great time, 10/10 would do again. but with more suitable shoes maybe.)

Street Light: You run through the dark and you think something is chasing you. In the distance you discover one single street light. Do you run towards it, knowing you will be abel to see better but also you will be spotted much easier? Or stay in the dark?

that’s horrifying! 😭 but to be fair.....i am incredibly out of shape, so if i can’t already be heard wheezing/coughing up my lungs, i don’t think it’d hurt to go towards the street light. and who knows? maybe the thing is a friendly cryptid who likes to give out hugs in the most terrifying manner. i’m not one to judge.

Deer: antlers or fangs?

antlers all the way! they seem like they’d be useful to hang things from. just think of the pretty decorations?? and during the winter holidays you could thread some tinsel in there! adorable!

Adventure: hauted houses or cemeteries?

from a thematic perspective? the look of haunted houses is unmatched. the idea of walking through a grand historical house in a long white night gown, holding a candelabra to light the hallways whilst something lurks in the shadows? s u b e r b. sign me the heck up.

on the other hand, cemeteries remind me a little too much of zombies, and zombies are the stuff of nightmares 8′D

13x20 “Unfinished Business” Mirror Mirror on the Wall, May We Get a Doppelgänger Story After All? - A Dean Heavy “Review” of 13x20 “Unfinished Business”

As the title of this meta/spec already states this episode analysis for lack of a better word will focus on Dean most since him and his arc have always been what interested me most about SPN and lately kind of truly has become the only reason I still watch the show. I will however later on in this piece also talk about the other characters and bits of the episode that stood out to me. But forefront with this piece definitely definitely is Dean.

And to talk a bit more about him and his role within the latest episode I decided to go with the bit captured as the gifset above, because to me Dean’s drinking this episode served as a visual cue not just for the entirety of his mindset within the episode, but more general too and how it may contribute to what lies ahead for him.

We have seen Dean’s drinking become a bit more frequent again the past few episodes, but it has been quite a while if memory serves right that we have seen Dean drink from the flask as earlier in the episode.

In fact, I think the last time Dean had drunk from it on screen was at the beginning of the season during the “therapy session”. To me that actually nicely closes a cycle, because to me it seems that Dean’s depression and absolute readiness to lay his head to rest is at an all time high again after it had subsided slightly after Cas returned. Nothing drove Dean’s tiredness and his wish for things to just be “over soon” home like the ending scene.

If this episode cemented one thing for me, it is that Dean is tired, he is done and he knows that something is coming for him. And not just due to Billie’s ominous words. To me it seems Dean knows more than he lets on and that he has a plan, because to me the whole framing of Dean this episode especially called back to S5 when Dean was about to say yes to Michael. Now, I don’t suggest that that is happening now (could also be Dean’s wound from the AU indeed is causing more issues or he made some other deal or just knows he’ll sacrifice himself no matter what, because he is tired and yes, tired Dean seemed all episode, tired and done), but it certainly could fit with other parts of the episode that served as major Dean mirrors imo this episode.

One of the big Dean mirrors imo was Kevin Tran (btw I think this episode marked Osric’s best SPN performance to date - really he deserves some standing ovations for this). Because while Dean on the surface looks more “put together” and he hides it behind a mask and stance of “annoyance” and “gruffness”, to me the way we see Kevin here is actually how it looks within Dean as well. And Kevin’s entire speech about never having believed in anything until the end of the world happened and everyone around him started to die. And then God chosing him and he not even being able to fathom what that means and how he had hoped that Michael would save the world, but ended up doing the opposite. All of that to me aligns very well with Dean’s own story too. We know that Dean has always struggled with having faith or believing that “good things do happen” and just like Kevin him and his brother experienced that everyone around them dies. And then just in S11 God again chose Dean, told him the world would be save in his and his brother’s hands (even if he left), because Dean is the firewall between light and darkness and Dean too wondered “what the hell that would even mean”. So yeah, to me their struggles here line up perfectly and to me it might hint at Dean making a deal (maybe with Michael or with someone/something else) in which he would offer himself up (compare that also to Jack’s “What’s the point if I can’t keep them safe?”) for the safety of his loved ones and the world. And especially this piece of dialogue here where Kevin is framed as a christ figure with the cross in the back felt ominously close to how the season may end...

That even if the Winchesters may win some at the end, they may lose more [as a brief side note here: tbh I was so angry about Dabb having the audacity to now use this rework of what should have been Crowley’s last words and that were so important to Mark Sheppard and cut them in the end only to bring them back now in reversal, because really to me it shows a lot about what kind of people the people are that are currently running the show, I find it disgusting, but anywho...]

And even though I still don’t think Michael!Dean is truly what will end up being the case I have to admit if they wanted to with the Kevin parallel (And as captured above the amount of halo shots with Dean this episode, the above is just one of many would fit to that - the shot actually also reminded of this one

in 9x21 “King of the Damned” where Dean also “sidelined” Sam to keep him save. So while last episode didn’t give me any feelings on Dean being back to MoC!Dean ways, this decision of his felt ominous and foreboding - I personally think in the end Dean will either yield the archangel blade or the Lance of Michael or will die/be wounded by one of those) this episode to me they laid enough groundwork to assume that maybe Dean has already “made contact” with Michael and agreed to something and offering himself up. Because it may not be about dying as Kevin told Jack, but about breaking a person enough for them to give themselves up due to the guilt they may feel (”You don’t know the things I have done” is a line that Demon!Dean for example used just like Kevin) and the lack of options they see for themselves to go on. And while Kevin dies here not for the greater good, but because he is at the end of his rope, I could see something similar happen with Dean only that it would be more of an action for the greater good (and btw the toy soldier in the AU to me also called back perfectly not just to the one stuck in the ashtray of the Impala, but to Dean himself, who was always reffered to as “a good little soldier”, a “blunt instrument” - really the writing in this regard and how it diminishes Dean as a person, but treats him like an object goes a long way back and fits to the whole vessel theme).

So Kevin’s death here rather rings some alarm bells of how bad it is going to get in the last 3 episodes. [as another brief side note here, I felt it rather unnescessary of them to show Jack’s wings here, because well, we have already known he has them for a while, this just seemed a little “hello causal viewer just so you KNOW” and well, I dislike things of that kind so... Plus: Can’t also say I love that they now also turned Mary’s words to Dean into a new thing here with an angel now watching over Mary (more on her a bit later as well). Seriosuly, yawnnnn, I don’t need that. It isn’t sweet or touching but just ughhh to me, but then again I am just not a fan of Dabb’s showrunning, so...]   And the other Dean mirrors in the episode didn’t make that feeling go away at all, but rather strengthened that bad stuff lies ahead. Because to me the other huge Dean mirror was Gabriel/Loki.

I had talked about the aspect of doppelgängers and the two halves of each person a lot before during the MoC arc and especially in relation to Dean’s arc in comparison to Charlie and Dark!Charlie and it seems to me that entire thread the show revisited with Gabriel going after his “alter ego” Loki. We basically got another doppelgänger story here in which someone has to face a side of “himself” he may not like as Gabriel told Dean about in this moment.

and well, I personally have always headcanoned and hoped the show would go this route with Dean after the mark was removed, because to me Dean was left “in pieces” after that and still isn’t whole again (which is why I always liked the idea of story where Dean puts himself back together again in a similar fashion as Sam did in S6 as I talked about also in one the last asks I replied to). Now, what to me made the Gabriel/Loki thing a possible Dean mirror or rather piece of foreshadowing is (and yeah it might be a bit farfetched, but hey this is spec and it is mean to just throw ideas around) how one could argue Michael or Lucifer are “doppelgängers” of the Winchesters, because they serve as counterparts as vessels so to speak. Looking at Gabriel’s “witness protection”-stunt and the way he points at Dean here. Of course it is meant as “you are right”, but to me this episode just heavily suggested that maybe we’ll get some sort of Dean in “witness protection” as well of some sort. Because why the hell put so much time into exploring this whole deal with Gabriel so late in the season if not to use it in some fashion (okay, of course it could be they don’t do anything further with it lol it is Dabb after all, and so far it also seems the wound was the same thing - both would be a shame if not further used imo)?

So to me there exists potential in a possible doppelgänger!Dean arc at the end of the season, because, well... didn’t anybody else think Loki’s clothing seemed awfully fitting to those we saw from BTS pics of Jensen?

Just era wise... It’s very little to go on, but I could imagine some sort of scenario in which Dean does something really dangerous in order to save the world so that he would need such “protection” (Hell, who says that Dean didn’t strike a deal with the trickster if not Michael or some other powerful being?) and hence the Non!Dean pictures? Even the trickster’s entire conversation with Dean and how he granted Gabriel this protection (if walking away from his family to me would absolutely align and fit with Dean “preparing” Sam for him to not be around for much longer and maybe not due to death, but something else) would fit into Dean’s arc.

In this regard I also found Gabriel’s tale about how he met Loki rather interesting as to me it felt also a fitting parallel to Michael in the cage. Gabriel said he had stumbled upon Loki bound in a cave while hiking the fjords while a snake spewed venom into Loki’s eyes. If you ask me you could also read this as Michael trapped in the cage where he was driven insane by Lucifer (commonly depicted as also the snake). So what if Dean saved Michael from the cage somehow just like Gabriel saved Loki? What if he owed Dean one and they made a deal? In any case to me this whole set up of facing up against yourself or “someone who wears your face”, your alter ego, dark side, shadow self, however you want to call it, could also nicely lead into a Michael against Michael scenario with all of the text and subtext in this episode...

And last but not least in relation to Dean’s talk with the trickster, something that stood out to me again was the topic of “John Winchster”.

It’s not the first time he came up this season and I have always said that Dean would need another “good bye” to truly let his father’s ghost rest (though what are the chances for that to happen with Heaven going out of business - though I suppose they’ll use Jack to power up Heaven again - unless the allusions and revisit of Crowley’s words were meant to put Jack as new Ruler of Hell, which I doubt).

So... I said this before, but I truly think that by the end of this season we will get a JDM scene of some sort - even if it just lasts for 10 seconds. Maybe it’ll be tied to Dean dying/close to dying or being in the veil or tied to Mary possibly dying and seeing him again or just simply due to all ghosts/souls crashing to Earth with Heaven falling lol. Which brings me to the other bits and characters of the episode that I want to briefly write about, I’ll do that behind the cut. But I have to say it seems whatever will happen with Dean, I get the feeling it will be heavy - sad thing is they could have built all of it up better over the whole season - maybe then I actually would have liked at least some of it lol, but yeah... I hope against hope for good things for Dean!Girls. What are the odds though...

Anyway, on to the rest with a few cliffnotes on other parts of the episode I liked/disliked/that stood out to me:

First and foremost I need to briefly mention Mary here and her whole regret/pain/guilt thing. I mean, it’s nice to know she finally realized she made mistakes, but sadly the show ruined her character so much for me that these scenes here where she was all “motherly” just enraged me, because really after this here

I wanted to scream: You didn’t lose any boys, you fucking abandoned them for a whole season!!! So yeah, not a fan of the Mary scenes at all, they felt cheap to me.

Something else I also greatly disliked was the tone shift in the episode between the worlds. I get that they wanted to be a bit Tarantino with everything Gabriel, but really to me this stuff doesn’t work. Not anymore. It just feels like SPN is a parody of itself at those times. And it’s a shame because I actually really loved Richard Speight’s acting as Loki/Gabriel. His anger, etc. was spot on. Though really, him suffering for 8 years... Please, compare that to Dean and 40 years in Hell or Sam with almost 120 years in the cage. Suck it up, Gabriel! ;P

And last but not least for a shot I really liked lol, because, well, Sam and Dean are literally Gabriel’s wings uhm wingmen here. ;)

Other than that I liked the episode. But probably only because of the focus I read into it in regards to Dean which may not end up being anything at all lol. But yeah, Jensen’s acting/my worry about Dean surely carried me through this episode.

😑- what is one charector you refuse to roleplay as and why?

So I guess I’m just going to jump into the potentially controversial shit right off the bat, huh?

I can’t see myself ever RPing as a character from Black Panther.  It’s not that I don’t think people can/should/have the ability to write outside their personal racial experiences.  I just think that Black Panther, especially as it’s presented in the MCU (I don’t know enough about the comics to voice an opinion there), is something that the African diaspora have so often been denied.  The idea of a part of the African continent that’s never known a white colonizer, that’s never been subject to another country’s rule, that remains proud and strong and uniquely itself in a way that defies the harsh reality we live with is something that may be amazing to me, but that I do not have a stake in.  It’s not my story to tell.  The implications of Wakanda’s existence aren’t mine to play with.  There are people for whom Wakanda, everyone in it, and the implications of its existence are incredibly personal.  And I don’t want to play in their sandbox.  I want to leave it to the people who can use it so much better than I ever could because it’s theirs in a way that doesn’t apply to me.

Disclaimer: This is not a judgement on any non-black who writes a Black Panther character.  I’m just saying that I, personally, am never going to do so.

So many.  I apparently used up all my ability to stick with a RP blog through the rough part of starting up with Vivian, Ros, and Duvessa.

Um, I have to say the ones I’ve regretted most were Shae and Sera.  (And my MCU multimuse but I really am going to get that off the ground any day now :| )

Shae because the world Gaiman built in American Gods is so good and leaves so much room for more than is in the book.  And the show’s done well in interpreting the book to screen (I mean jfc is Gillian Anderson a shapeshifter??) that I couldn’t resist the chance to jump in on the new fandom.  And, much like Vivian, Shae is a relatively easy muse for me to write because she draws from things close to me.  I grew up in the heart of the slowly-dying Hungarian immigrant community in NJ and it’s remained so much a part of my life that I’m now working for one of the institutions of it.  And I’m just sad that the fandom was never welcoming to OCs because I was really looking forward to playing with obscure folklore.

Idk.  I might revamp her as a fandomless or other-fandom OC and try again.

Sera I haven’t exactly given up on so much as I don’t have the energy for more than three blogs right now - if that, even.  Plus Sera I feel like I might have thrown her out there a little too soon - which is to say I have a thousand questions about her I haven’t answered yet and I should have an answer for at least half of them.  Which in turn makes me super hesitant to reach out to people.  Which is my own problem.  I will say that the MCU and Norse myth fandoms have been great and there have been people who have latched onto my sweet little thread mage and interact with me whenever I do manage to get on her.

I’d kill for a Jessica Jones, tbh.  There are some great similarities between Jessica and Vivian but I think that they’re different enough that they’d be one of those ‘they either love each other or they despise each other’ kind of deals.  But if they got along can you imagine the level of ‘I do not want to be putting up with this shit’ that they’d collectively exude?  And the snark.  OMG the collective snark.

I absolutely love how conflicted and complicated Ana is and how angry Pharah is. And she is absolutely right to be furious. But seeing it from Ana’s side also makes it ache in the BEST WAY, because she made a very human decision and is having difficulty owning up to the fact that it was a bad decision.  It’s painful no matter which way you look at it and it’s DELICIOUS.

Yes!! I am, and will always be, “Ana Amari did a LOT of things wrong” but I also understand how hard it can be, and that’s why that whole line of “You make a decision for long enough, you decide the only thing to do is keep making it” like I GET IT, I just object to fandom generally letting her off the hook for it ahaha. 

AND THEN YOU FINISH OFF WITH PHARAH / MERCY FEELS AND I AM DYING.  God I love them SO MUCH and you write them SO WELL and now I have FEELINGS and aaaaahhhhh .  Mercy the healer who can't heal this hurt I love it SO MUCH. Healing is what she DOES, but her strong beautiful wife is CRYING and she can't fix it and NNNNGGGHHHH

Yes! Pharah being raising by five well-meaning people but basically SAM WAS THE BEST CHOICE HERE LBR is my fav headcanon in life, and Pharah having to deal with the fact that these people she loved so so much are EXTREMELY FLAWED, and the pain of that, A+. AND YES, Mercy is not a fighter by nature but for Pharah she can do ANYTHING.

LysxDaria. Of course, my sport girl thinks highly of this strange classmate she mistook for a ghost and not in a hundred years would have seen him dating a girl like her. If there’s something she’s grateful that has happened in her life that seemed to go into a dark path—that has to be MEETING Lysander.

She thinks he’s someone reliable, dependable, charismatic, charming—trillions of positive things.

ZenxIg. Zen is simply in love with every gesture Ignis makes, with every single time she presses the tip of her pencil to trace a figure, a sketch, a finished drawing. He’s simply mesmerized and breathless whenever he thinks about her or sees her.

Zen is in love with Ignis and truly sees her as his soulmate.

Oz&Vicky. Even though they have a long road ahead, Oz is quite fond of this weird monster girl he befriended and doesn’t mind being dragged against his will, at this rate he only pretends to be pissed for the sake of it but he truly enjoys spending time with her and doing shenanigans together.

But, on the other hand, Oz also has a crush on this franken girl and will never bring it up. Content with their friendship.

Yenien&Clara. Where would Yenien begin with this? He basically adopted this human girl and has tried, believe him he has, to give her everything she wanted. The incubus, regardless of how unstable his shape used to be, wanted to be saved and to save someone too.

Clara is someone Yenien wouldn’t hesitate to die for once more, it’s his very own child. He saw her grow up from a scared yet brave kid to a strong and powerful woman, he’s a proud parent even though he’s seen as a brother.

My opinion of your muse

I literally love every muse you write, even those I don’t even interact with. I love how you bring life to each one of these individuals and do your best, write their stories, their own paths, decisions, headcanons—just everything because it’s so well-thought and meaningful.

I am not sure whether I have a favorite, there are too many to chose.

I also ADORE when you get carried away rambling about one specific muse, and even though sometimes I don’t understand, I keep asking questions and becoming invested too. Way too invested sometimes (coughmeaddingjackfrostsooncoUGH).

But I chose these because: the way your portray Lysander is so soft and caring, tender and gentleman like. There are many traits that resamble canon, but so many that make him utterly unique and even more fascinating.

Ignis has to be one of those characters I hold dear and close to my heart because she was one of the first oc of yours I met, I remember how many shenanigans we had back at dA. Drawings of her I have made and how much I have improved and how different she looks with each passing year.

I like Vicky and how problematic you have made her albeit we need more interactions but you tell me headcanons and scenarios that it feels as if I have known her for my whole life.

Clara is also one that I hold dear because of how much of a strong connection she has with Yenien. We had these two ocs that had no one, and from one day to another, they became family. He taught how to dance what she loves the most, she helped him with finding his own happiness with Janisse. There’s such sweetness between them.

My favorite part about our muse’s interactions

T - This is hard, uh, well I love their dynamics, truth be told.

I find interesting how Daria struggles with her mental health and tries to open up more to Lysander, I like how she is trying for once not to do something that might affect everyone, I like how she becomes stubborn and childish around him because honestly Daria only behaved that way towards Daniel since she was an emotionless girl in the past.

I admire how Zen after finding one person who comprehends him so perfectly finds hope in not giving up, finds a strength he didn’t know he had. I find worth to follow how he doesn’t give up on his dreams and how much he craves for this future with her against all odds, he keeps fighting for it.

I like how goofy and childish Oz can be around Vicky because the way I see him, is someone usually calm and composed. Not giving too many facts about himself away, just general questions about what type of monster he is or if he has done his homework.

I love how Yenien insists on being her father and Clara brushing it off as brother, I love seeing them behaving like a single father and his child. I love how overprotective he can become without cutting her freedom, I love how childish he was when Clara fell for Cedric but still chose to help them both because that’s how much he wants for Clara to be happy.

A wish/plot I want to write for our muses

LysxDaria. Alright, hear me out. We talked and joked about Daria giving up her own dreams to join an orchestra to live with Lysander in the farm, but I honestly cannot get it out of my head.

So I legit want a thread of them being extremely domestic in the farm.

ZenxIg. A ROYALTY AU THO—Zen is the perfect unhappy prince with an abusive family that only wants power, he’d be CINDERELLA HERE. ALRIGHT. HE’D BE CINDERELLA. For he falls in love with Ignis in one night.

Oz&Vicky. TBH, I keep joking about Oz and his crush on Vicky but I want a thread where Vicky has a crush on ANY other monster and stops spending time with him as much as before, which leads Oz to think ‘oh so this wasn’t just a crush, I am legit in love with her’ yet he still doesn’t make any attempt and helps her with her lovelife.

Therefore, ending heartbroken,  devasted and crying somewhere outside the campus.

Yenien&Clara. I…want Yenien taking Clara to the city he was born into before unexpectedly ending somewhere across the ocean, the place he crossed paths with Clara and chose to help her.

I want Yenien to speak fondly about his past, about every street and corner and how much everything has changed. I want Yenien to break down crying when he can spot the alley he lived and collapsed on, died ever so slowly.

I want him to show weakness, not always this puppy personality of his. I want him to show how he was BEFORE dying and turning into an incubus, you know.

A way your muse has made mine better.

LysxDaria. For once, Daria has a will to live.

She sees a future with Lysander after highschool since he light up her world, he pulled her out of her darkness with every caring gesture. From their wonderful friendship to their undying love towards one another.

He is helping Daria become a better person, because she is inspired by him and wants to become someone better and worthy of being his companion since he doesn’t want Lysander to be with someone who struggles with so much.

She is also learning to speak rather than running away from her troubles which can cause her to behave recklessly, he can read her with such ease and has the hability to say just the right words she needed to hear to be encouraged.

ZenxIg. This ship speaks for itself.

Zen needed someone like Ignis on his life, someone to rely on, someone to tell his hopes and dreams. He didn’t need someone to fix his life for him, he didn’t want someone to magically fix his problems.

Zen needed someone to tell him ‘hey, you can do it. I’ll be with you no matter what’ and that’s exactly what Ignis made him see. Ignis changed him so much to the point he even started to properly take care of himself, because he has a bit of time to spare and make proper meals rather than eat something bought or bread.

Zen wanted someone to love him for who he is, to see something beyond a pretty face. To see a human with his own traumas and fears, struggling with a facade to not araise questions.

Oz&Vicky. Well, Oz pre-meeting the four was a quiet individual who didn’t want to interact with others unless necessary. It was less problematic not to get involved with anyone. But then he met everyone, and then he became close to so different individuals and closer than anyone else to Vicky that he started to develop a personality of his own. To experiment and toy with this concept of free will he chose to ignore for so long.

Yenien&Clara. He used to be, such a lost soul in a modern world. 

He had been dead for so long, and was supposed to remain that way until he suddenly was brought back. And he was as scared as he was confused.

But then he saw this little girl, struggling to live and survive much like he had been. Except this was a little girl, he used to had a family until they died. So, in a way, he did have it better and had a need to protect her. While also, taking care of himself.

Because Yenien never saw his life as worthy, but for this one time, he did. He saw that he needed to be alive to help this little girl survive—eventually, Yenien started to become a better person with her help, to learn about humans, about how much has changed, about dancing to teach her. 

To learn to live and move on from his past.

1. it’s late in the afternoon and you’re in a new city. do you take the train, the bus, or do you walk to get back to your place?

Am I just moving to this town? Likely, I’ve probably visited before so I would have a sense of how to use the transportation. Or, Google Maps is pretty handy! I actually enjoy walking most places if it’s available to me; otherwise, I’m a train kinda girl. I’ll take the bus if I have to. I’m very positive towards public transportation and energy efficiency. Reduce that carbon footprint!

2. what’s your dream place to live (city or country? continent? in land or by the sea? cold or warm?)?

Okay, but... gonna go cheesy and say with my loved one. ‘Cause I’d honestly survive with any climate as long as I’m with them.

Assuming I’m single af and forever alone, or at least living on my own for a while? I’m definitely a larger city kind of girl, or near access to a large city. I wouldn’t mind living in a suburb and then commuting to the city, actually. I love nature, but I don’t want to be isolated in it for too long. I spent three months in a literal jungle. I’ve had my share of country times.

Also, having lived near Wisconsin-- I am way over the winter. I’m fine if I don’t see a lot of snow. I actually do enjoy rain, though. 

3. what’s one of your favorite threads across any of the muses you have ever played?

One of the earliest threads I’ve written on this blog was with @argentnoir​ & it was just kind of like a slow burn / pining kind of deal? Where Tseng acknowledges that Yuffie is up to be empress of Wutai and how inappropriate it is as one who has actively abandoned his nation that he would support her. So he tries to deny and reject any feelings which might surface for her, while Yuffie is  very much a “ forget protocol, I like you. ” I really liked that dynamic of how Tseng knew what was right for the nation even if he no longer belonged to it, and Yuffie was very “you belong to me, therefore you belong to Wutai.” 

I’m weak for Tsuffie okay like let me die with this ship.

4. five songs you’d love to share with people?

manzions // gorgeous. while my apartment was being renovated a few months back, i rented a room in an ex-friend’s house ( we were cool in high school but after that we grew apart ). anyway, the walls were paper thin & whenever i was depressed or crying or something, he would always play this song.

joji // will he. okay but a surprise twitter bop? also let him move on from his previous persona ok. yeesh. people are allowed heelturns. anyway, so this song is so mellow & i dig it, but also it just reminds me of the type of music a friend of mine used to send me all the time when we like... stopped being super close. that was their way of reaching out, was sending songs. and like. idk joji’s character / the lyrics super just make me think of that friend ‘cause that’s definitely what that friend would say to me, if he felt confident enough to ever use the words.

yumi kawamura // burn my dread. before we were shook over lyn inaizumi & shihoko hirata, we were all dying over yumi. who, by the way, is my literal queen ok. every time i see a persona concert online i sob profusely when yumi is on stage. i own the p4d soundtrack & i sobbed through her tracks on there too. honestly that was my most played music of 2016, that soundtrack. her voice is beautiful in every song, but i had to pick one, so why not the intro to p3 so we can all sob profusely. you’re welcome.

i would’ve put sono chi no sadame but i need to be tamed. i will, however, put the link to jojo’s first six intros performed live, though. that’s a real masterpiece that should go on the big screen. man, what i would do to go to a jojo concert.

i am rather proficient at math, actually. i wanted to go into medicine at one point, then psychology. you need a background in statistics to do that. but i also showed an interest in calculus, despite being terrible at physics and three-dimensional art. i studied it into high school, but gave it up in college to pursue language and fine arts instead. 

6. were you a goosebumps kid or an ‘are you afraid of the dark’ kid?

goosebumps. though i’ll admit i read the books more than watching either show.

7. how many tamagotchis did you own in the past, and what were their names (if you remember)?

i never had a tamagotchi. or a neopet. that’s a whole era that goes right above me.

8. what’s one situation you want to / wish to write your muse in? 

historical drama.

i’ve survived a lot of tough things, so i guess i’m rather proud of that. 

i’m also like... happy that i’m able to pull off a yuffie that isn’t reduced to a sex object. it’s really nice actually to see people more these days seeing her for her maturity & respecting her for the amount she’s able to achieve. even square has backed off with making her such a heavy comic relief, at least in dffoo, and that makes me really happy.

10. pc or apple? (there’s only one right answer to this question, and it’s not apple)

i only own one apple product & that’s a iPad that was given to me during college. which, it was rather useful while i was in school, but i can say i’m not really a fan of the whole “apple slowing down your devices to make you upgrade” thing. also, it’s so expensive? i’d like to get into video editing and photography, & while i’m aware i don’t need an apple to do that, i like the simplicity and interface and hardware. but.. y’all these prices & these games are too much.

also, atm i don’t use either a pc or an apple: i’m on chromebook. & it’s really efficient if you’re into blogging or writing or really minimal things, like i am. c:

i actually don’t... watch television... the last show i tried to actually pay attention to was designated survivor. ‘cause i’m weak for kiefer sutherland. and uh? idk i like it cause it has rising climax !

i also binge watched ghost adventures so.... maybe that counts. uh?? i would say maybe seasons 10-13 were my favorite because i felt bad for billy! always sending billy off on his own & his expressions about zak “can you stop summoning demons for a second?” is always great.

does john mulaney’s nerflix comedy special comeback kid count?? if not, probably nightmare before christmas way back around christmastime

four dogs: pheonix, kino, midge, and bess; three horses: little man, gem, and andy (ironically i’m allergic to dogs and horses, and my dad keeps buying more)

i love doing my swim lessons and seeing all my kids!! i haven’t been able to lately bc of the weather,

i value my compassion and empathy above all else; i am very much the mom friend and love to be it

ah i have so many; i think rn i’m gonna go with this past christmas, bc it was my last one with my grandfather

swallowing gum, taking all my pills in descending size order, i tend to mimic how a singer sounds when i sing along to the song (ex: if they have a british accent, i’ll subconsciously sing in a british accent; if they stress certain syllables in certain ways, i’ll do it too)

13) What would you call your style?:

comfortable (stretchy jeans, t-shirts, hoodies) and with a few signature Gay Things (jean jacket, flannels, oversized mens’ button ups, a couple gay/bi pride shirts)

if i have lyrics in front of me to a song i’ve never heard before, i can predict the pattern of the tunes and rhythm and sing along the first time

I’ve decided that in celebration of Stray Kids pre-debut album I needed to create a tag. The ultimate goal for The Stray Kids Tag is to learn about your Tumblr mutuals, and have fun answering the Stray Kids related questions!  Here we go:

1: When did you decide to join the Stray kids fandom?

i saw a thread of information abt the suspected nine members before they were officially announced and was like ‘yes i must stan them and love them with all of my heart.’ so uh,,,,, back in august or september??

2: What is your favorite episode of Stray Kids? uhm, i’m gonna expose myself rn and let y’all know that i’ve never actually seen a full episode of the show; as soon as i heard it was gonna be a survival show, i knew that i couldn’t watch it bc my heart was too weak and i was emotionally incapable of becoming too invested while watching it; but from clips, i quite like the episode with the 3:3:3 mission, and also the last episode when all nine were reunited and told they were going to debut together

3: Who would you say is your bias in Stray kids?

my initial one was chan, and they i got rlly confused, and then slowly came to realize that it was jeongin (anything else after that is a fucking mess)

4: Who would you say is your bias wrecker in Stray kids?

literally kill me all of them bias wreck me so hard bUT hyunjin, jisung, seungmin, and chan have been wrecking me so hard in particular lately

5: What line would you want to be apart of in Stray kids? uHHH not dance line bc swimmers have 0 coordination on land; i quite like singing even tho i’m not good at, so probably that, but i can also hit all of chan’s english rap parts in 3racha songs, and keep up with lafayette’s raps in hamilton, and a lot of the english rappers i like too so uh,,, sign me up for rap line too

6: What is the first song you heard of Stray kids? hellevator

7: What is the first song you heard of 3racha? i think it was either hoodie season or runner’s high

8: What is your favorite song on their pre-debut album?

young wings or school life or yayaya (or grr or 4419 or glow or hellevator)

9: What is a concept you’d like to see Stray Kids try in the future?

i love their current optimistic and slightly rebellious teenager concept rn bc its an Eternal Mood; but i always love myself a soft boyfriend concept 

10: if you could meet with the members of Stray kids for one day what would you say to them?

how proud of them i am, and how proud of themselves they should be; i would tell them about how they’re saying things that resonate deeply for their fans and i love that they’re talking abt real world problems; i would also make sure to tell them (chan and 3racha especially) to make sure to rest more, and eat well, and take care of themselves emotionally as well as physically; and finally i’d like to tell jeongin how wonderful he is and that he’s doing so much at such a young age (lmao he’s actually eight months older than me but that’s no the point) and to never lose his cute little smile
