IINTERDIMENSIONAL LORE POST #1 CHARACTER IMTROS: #1

Ever since college started last month, I could barely post anything. So instead, I'm doing a summary of the characters I was planning to post about throughout October. I was going to make brief lore posts about each of the characters during the birthdays I assigned for each character. But since I couldn't, here're s a 1-2 line summaries for each one! Enjoy!💙

Oh yeah! Some spoilers ahead-

October 2nd: Arwyn Iluthmil

Polite, quiet, abd naive and dreamer of an elven prince who who acted as a diplomat for his queen sister, who then gets entangled in legendary (and more) shenanigans far beyond even his imagination, and ends up having to be the peacemaker of the most delightfully dysfunctional and chaotic team in the entire Interdimensional series (yes I'm talking about Team Space).

October 5th: Melitia Solis:

A sweet and friendly but resilient craftswoman in training, later moves on from her unrequited love for the cute waiter boy from the café across the street, and becomes a respected and powerful enchantress, also becoming one of the main supporters of the Legendary Carriers throughout their missions.

October 6th: Nahia Bernalmi / Bluebell:

Non-magical firstborn princess of a magical kingdom in the sky, gives up her right to the crown after her younger susters are born and becomes a scholarly temple maiden, encouraging edication and literacy across the kingdom.

October 8th: Wendolana Witxen:

Adventurous and hotheaded, yet loyal and funny shapeshifter woman, raised as a Lightning Warrior, and now watching over the Legendary Spirit Hui, while also being an epically fun and chaotic older sister figure for the rest of Team Space.

October 9th: Taika Marisol:

The friendly neighborhood magic shop owner, who actively practices witchcraft and is known for her cheerful attitude.

October 10th: Ludus:

The playful messenger of an echanted city state thriving in the middle of a desert somehow, and the character with weirdest and most random lines and pranks.

October 11th: Alondra Busker:

A young musician and sound mage, still grieving her mother's loss, having to take her mother's former title amongst the ranks of BSA and act as a guide and protector to the young Legendaries. She's also one of the eight POV characters in book 1. Also, she's the leader of the band "Radiance" which falls apart due to interdimensional shenanigans but gets back togather in time.

October 13th: Sarannah Hudson:

The chaotic and moody younger sister of The Lawful Good of the Legendaries (Kent), who actually just wants equality between Trickers (people with magic but no powers like herself and her mother) and Ekermins (people with both magic and powers, like her father and brothers), but doesn't know how to go about it, yet.

October 15th: Selene Roussit:

Cheerful, adventurous, and charismatic mountain princess, prankster eldest child, and the leader to one of the Legendaries' most important group of allies.

October 17th: Ninlil Bernalmi / Bluebell:

Youngest sister of Nahia and Aella, and the most carefree, talkative, and humorous one.

October 17th: Koios:

Brilliant minded but also troublesome, little Elulai boy (Elulai are an original spieces), who followed Tom (one of the very main characters) around and persisted until Tom accepted him as his first ever apprentice for his craft (and inventing) shop, also hyping him and the other members of the shop as well as the people for whatever's to come.

October 18th: Maritza Renshaw:

Brave, fun-loving, and friendly noble lady of the biggest trade city & island in Yugenri, who accompanies and helps the Legendaries through the Solium War, then gets married to a kingdom with problematic traditions (which I can't go into detail just yet) which she starts a silent rebellion against.

October 20th: Florea Leratis:

The black sheep of the noble Leratis family, also the reason why some of her siblings ended up with a traumatizing amount of pressure throughout their childhood. While all ten of her other siblings are members (and some even chosen heroes) of BSA, Florea willingly joins Dark Crystal (the enemies of BSA) and currently acts as a healer and spellcaster for them.

October 21st: Naima Hakeem:

Wise and comforting elder sister of a Legendary Carrier (Nour) and one of the best friends of another main character (Alondra), as well asa master of light and illusion magic. (I also just realized there are three birthdays from that same friend group in October with Alondra, Naima, and Selene-)

October 22nd: Eliarys Greggoff:

Lady Wind Knight who ends up accompanying Miracate (Rosena's younger sister) in an epic quest, while she (Eliarys) herself is aiming to help rebuild her destroyed hometown and find her misding brother.

October 23rd: Elinor Hudson:

The only character who can balance having the full time job of an interdimensional guardian, and raising three kids and at the same time, while being fairly well at both (even if her daughter is a bit of a problem child and her oldest son gets into life-threatening quests in other worlds regularly from teen years onward). Despite her troubled past, she's also a really fun person and a bit of a prankster, famous for inventing a charmed hot chocolate that makes whoever drinking it breathe bubbles.

October 24th: Cassia Dacre:

An intelligent and perfectionistic small town noble girl from the kingdom in the sky again (Eliri, for reference. This is the fourth character from Eliri-), who's later involved in tracking and and unmasking of spies of Lorkness inside the Legendary Alliance, however falling in love with one of them herself.

October 25th: Cecimeric Wiannlieth:

A new character I'm developing. Is the king of the elves of Mirunia (the only kingdom in Meras who're openly allied with BSA and the humans in Yugenri) and the first target of Eihlor when he's released for this reason, along with the rest of Mirunia.

October 26th: Jake Springlet:

The moody, stubborn, and sarcastic prince of Yugenri's agricultural center region ((a kingdom but not reaaly), with the power of thorn manipulation, a noticeable hatred for the humans of Tiria (regular Earth), funny one-liners, and a temper even shorter than him somehow. :D (And he's the last nobleman for October! Thank goodness! Eiwen doesn't count-)

October 27th: Libet Lamarre:

A teenage shapeshifter girl who who was trained to be a "villain", swore to evenge her childhood best friend who was killed when the Legend was first revived, joined the Solium War on the "villains'" side, fell prisoner, and joined Team Space to reclaim her freedom, and became one of the most delightfully chaotic members of the most delightfully chaitic team in all of Interdimensional. Yeah. She's something.

October 28th: Eiwen Iluthmil-Niarien:

The weird aunt of Maerwynn, Arwyn, and Aelwen; who's married a member of a wealthy member of the Merchant Council in one of the trade cities in Meras, and lives a distant life. However, no one also knows the fact that she's started to hear voices...of the spirits.

October 29th: Kelley Trace:

Ey! It's Kelley! My first ever character in the Interdimensional series! She's a double agent, a healer, a die-hard survivor, used-to-be assassin; blunt, sarcastic, humorous, can be mischievious, but also has a caring and empathetic heart. There's far too much to tell about Kelley, but she's a blast for me to write regardless!

October 31st: Helevisse Arinimavel:

Of all my characters, she could be the best definition of a "don't judge a book by its cover". At first glance, she's a cute little wood elf girl with pigtailed pink hair, floral patterned dresses, and a magic staff with a cute flower shaped gem. Upon further inspection, you notice she's a master of poison, banned types of magic, and is the type to enjoy some popcorn while watching the world burn; is also among a class of 20 "villains" in training, being one of the two that even the higher-ups noticed the chaotic nature of. She heard of Halloween from her Tirian classmate Ellenie and loves the fact that her birthday is on a holiday where people scare eachother.

Classic 20th Century Japanese Writers I Recommend

Over the past three years, little by little, I have begun to explore the beauty of Japanese literature. I had some reluctance at first due to the fact that the first Japanese I read was Haruki Murakami (no offense to his fans, but his writing style doesn't appeal to me). Even if you try not to be prejudiced, sometimes the brain works against you. I've taken a much further step back since then and decided to get my hands on some classics. I always liked the classics better. An apparently wise decision on my part, as I found some exceptional literary gems. I'm still at the beginning of exploration and it's a slow process (quality translations are few and far between in my country; luckily more and more classical Japanese authors are coming in lately, which brings me nothing but joy), but this is a short list of 20th century Japanese literature that I recommend.

1. Ryūnosuke Akutagawa (1892 - 1927) // Hell Screen (1918) // Spinning Gears (1927)

One of the greatest Japanese authors in history, Akutagawa is known as the "father of Japanese short stories". In my opinion, he fully deserves his title. His short stories are something unique in world literature, developing a wide variety of themes. He explores in his writings both old and new Japan, but maintaining a precious, enchanted air. Its style is easy to understand, but retains a certain poetry. Akutagawa instills in his characters an air of mystery and, in a certain way, grotesque, as if he could sense the dark side of man.

�� "Hell Screen" is inspired by a 13th-century volume of stories about the painter Yoshihide, commissioned to paint a screen depicting the Buddhist Hell scene. The theme of the artist's obsession with creation is a recurring theme in world literature, and Akutagawa brings it back in a new light. ”Spinning Gears” on the other hand takes place in the modern era and has a certain autobiographical feel to it. The protagonist narrates a series of events that he goes through, but these are often interrupted by his own thoughts and even hallucinations. The line between reality and fiction is finely demarcated, and the fall from one side to the other is sometimes imperceptible.

2. Yasunari Kawabata (1899 – 1972) // Thousand Cranes (1952) // Beauty and Sadness (1964)

  The first Japanese to win the Nobel Prize in Literature, Kawabata is an important writer both nationally and internationally. Many of his writings have spread throughout the world. His protagonists are usually respected men, but tormented by a hidden, obsessive side that they try to curb. His style is delicate but concise, being generally devoid of unnecessary literary flourishes. Kawabata's construction is subtle and carefully contoured, knowing when to alternate shots.

  "Thousand Cranes" is a short novel about a young unmarried man who has an affair with a woman older than him. Despite the age difference, the young man begins to develop an obsession with the woman, an erotic and even scary fascination in places. It is a story about passion that transforms reason, that brings horrible chimeras out of the human soul. "Beauty and Sadness" revolves around a former affair between a respected writer and a painter. The nostalgic notes of the past merge with the monotony of the present. While the central female figure is resigned and accepts her fate with simple coldness, the male figure seems to degrade at the first push and to live in a slight reverie, throwing himself into the nets of a past that only he idealizes.

3. Osamu Dazai (1909 – 1948) // The Setting Sun (1947) // No Longer Human (1948)

  A tragic genius par excellence, Osamu Dazai was obsessed his whole life with the idea of non-being. He had a latent fear of the idea of living among humans. His style is the most similar to that of Western writers among the Japanese authors I have come across so far. Like French decadents, he led a miserable life marked by alcohol, sex and suicidal tendencies. What makes him unique in literature is the way he manages to capitalize on the anguish, anxiety, fear of the human being that he suffers from and expose it in a poetic way in his writings.

  "The Setting Sun" centers on a woman in her early 30s who lives with her opium-addicted brother and her widowed and ailing mother. The snake appears as an obsessive idea, a protector and a harbinger of death at the same time. The woman seems to have a corrupted soul since childhood, a tendency towards alienation, towards misfortune, towards darkness. The fear of loneliness is combined here with the fear of closeness. "No Longer Human" is a prose memoir with many autobiographical elements. The protagonist is presented through all three stages of his life, from childhood to adolescence to adulthood. The young cartoonist is terrified of the darkness within him, which turns him into an inhuman being. Despite his desperate attempts, he finds it impossible to be honest and connect with people. His life is haunted by the tragedy of a lonely soul, scared of his own self, terrified that the world will find out about the monster that lies within him.

4. Yukio Mishima (1925 – 1970) // Confessions of a Mask (1949) // After the Banquet (1960)

Every country has that historical character that seems to be taken out of legends, but which was as true as it can be. Yukio Mishima is that character of Japan who is not talked about enough outside the borders. He had a tumultuous life, involved in art and politics alike. He wrote literature, essays, plays. His vocabulary is rich, lyrical, powerful. The images he conjures are terrifying, but clothed in poetry. He was not afraid to express the ideas he believed in, his political views, his observations on society, but he never forgot to express his art in a unique and sublime way. His voice is a universal voice, the meditations are of the whole world, and the freshness of the spirit is eternal. Mishima had a hidden talent for entering the darkness of the human soul and bringing out from there everything that could be both terrible and beautiful.

  "Confessions of a Mask" is one of his most famous works. The young protagonist recalls his childhood and adolescence, exploring his homoerotic inclinations and the passion he develops for characters in agony. The images suggested in this prose are jarring, dramatic and aesthetic. Everything from the construction to the wording to the image is beautiful. "After the Banquet" has as its central character a woman in early old age. This is a charismatic character, slightly rude, but charming. Mishima balances the woman's free spirit with her fear of dying and disappearing without anyone to honor her memory, while a political battle rages in the background.

OATH OF THE HEART- A Magical Girl Paladin Subclass for D&D 5e

There are many ways someone develops the Oath of the Heart. Perhaps they come across a being that can bestow the power on these noble warriors that aren't quite as strong as those who bestow warlock pacts. Perhaps they come across a sacred magical artifact that bestows them the gift of a noble warrior. Perhaps they even discover the power within themselves in their true and noble heart. Whatever the reason may be, these magical warriors keep justice in their heart and fight for the safety of all that is innocent. Check out the subclass on D&D Beyond here, or the Google Doc here! Additional Spells

You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed in the Oath of the Heart Spells table. See the Sacred Oath class feature for how oath spells work. Oath of the Heart Spells:

3rd: faerie fire, color spray 5th: calm emotions, suggestion 9th: hypnotic pattern, beacon of hope 13th: compulsion, hallucinatory terrain 17th: awaken, dream

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options. See the Sacred Oath class feature for how Channel Divinity works.

Magical Transformation: Taking a round to transform into a magical form, you gain 4 temporary hit points for each level you have in this class. An enemy can attack you while you transform but they have to make a WIS save to hit you. If they do, your transformation is interrupted. You have a 50/50 chance of expending your channel divinity if your transformation is interrupted, roll a d20. If it's 10 or below, your channel divinity is expended, if it's 11 or above, you can use channel divinity again on another turn.

Charming Aura: Because of your connections and duties to love you appear charming to the enemy. When you channel this divinity, you can attempt to charm enemies, up to half of your proficiency bonus (rounded down, minimum of 1), forcing them to make a WIS save. Failing this save causes the creature to be charmed for 1 minute or until they are attacked. The charmed creatures can attempt to break the charm with a WIS save, against your Spell Save at the end of each of their turns.

Imbued Magical Strikes

At 7th level, you can use 10 of your lay on hands hit pool to imbue your weapon and make it magical, turning it into a +1 magical weapon. The weapon returns back to normal the next morning.

At higher levels: At level 12, you can make your weapon a +2 magical weapon, and at level 18, you can make it a +3 magical weapon.

The Power of Friendship

When you are 5 feet of an ally and they are about to roll damage, you can use your reaction to amplify their damage, as if they had rolled a critical hit on their attack. You can use this feat up to half your proficiency times (rounded down) per long rest.

Magical Force of Nature

At 20th level, you are a magical force to be reckoned with and you now have the following benefits.

You are completely immune to being charmed and magic can’t put you to sleep if it could before.

You are resistant to non-magical bludgeoning, piercing or slashing damage if you weren’t before.

If you are within 5 feet of a creature, and you or an ally casts a spell that involves charming, the target rolls at disadvantage.

You have one use of a Wish Spell. Use it wisely.

Reviewing the All Elite Wrestling personnel 2023 Edition (Part 1) -

General statistics (taken from https://www.allelitewrestling.com/aew-roster as of 01/10/23) -

For this first part I decided to take everyone’s overall record and calculate with a little adjustments as outlined below:

+2 points for a win -1 point for a loss +1 point for every 3 matches (leftovers will be 0.3 or 0.6) 0 for draws Tiebreakers will be decided if possible (former champions, number of matches, being on the 1st year list, and such) Non-AEW Accomplishments not regarded (this includes ROH Titles) Some Faction definitions are refined by personal choice Career Records only

This doesn’t factor in jobbers or people off this list and have no wins let alone official records. This also doesn’t take into account promo skills or how long they’ve been in the company. I’ve tiered it in terms of every ‘tens’ such as those with a score of 20-29.6 or 30-39.6 to illustrate a sort of 'group’ these wrestlers sit in. It’s clearly not perfect but it does highlight how higher positives scores should fair against lower positive scores when matched up, especially champions. Don’t take it too seriously of course - it’s something I like to dabble in for the sake of my own curiousity and amusement. There is some truth to it though. Just think of it as a ballpark reason to how AEW is promoting certain people and trying to instill credibility into their tenure. Onwards!

Well, first of all, thank you! Your reblog is exactly the kind of things I've hoped for when writing my post. You might be interested in my second reblog of this post, , where I shared my own opinion - my headcanon is that Moses' dæmon would've been a donkey, due to a surprising amount of mentions of donkeys in the Torah (seriously) and thanks to a weird maybe-meaningful wordplay with the Hebrew name for a donkey.

Our Midrash sample is great, and I can't wait to hear your more elaborate thoughts! Buuuut... I have some slight nitpicks. Sorry! It's specifically about the Midrash sample.

You... chose a bunch of anachronistic names. Except for Rabbi Akiva and maybe Rabbi Hillel, they seem out of place in a quasi-Midrashic text. Rambam was a 12th-13th century Jewish Rabbi, which places him long after most Midrashic texts were already written. Plus, he mostly dealt with Halacha. Rabbi Hillel was probably meant to be Hillel the Elder, who (fun fact!) was never called rabbi because his name us an even more honourable title. But it's fine, because there is a Rabbi Hillel from approximately the right period - known mostly for saying the people of Israel already got their Messiah in King Hezekiah. Rabbi Ben Yehuda sounds like a reference to Eliezer Ben Yehuda, who was... a 20th century linguist... so yeah, it's anachronistic. Plus, the Sages studied tge Torah in Hebrew, for the most part, so they aren't prone to reason things in mistranslations.

Your reasoning, however, is great! So, perhaps, if we want to leave that be, we can say that Moses dæmon was never said to have a specific form in the Bible! I mean, if the Sages debated what sort of tree the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil was, they can debate what was Moses' dæmon's settled form.

Sorry for being pedantic regarding the names, I realize it was just an example and not meant to be taken too literally, but I guess it's a pet peeve. I'm a Yekke - a Jew of German descent - and thus, overly obsessed with being percise.

Regarding your questions of a more halachic nature, I personally think a dæmon will be considered just as Jewish as their human, and thus will still not be allowed to light fire or carry things during Shabbat. Maybe there should be a discussion, though, on how they should practice their judaism. Your question actually made me think of Techum Shabbat, a topic less discussed nowadays regarding the distance from a city a given Jew us allowed to walk during Shabbat, which is about a Kilometer outside the city - 2000 Cubits (excuse my non-American language, I don't know miles). Parts of the laws regarding that are about where a person is when the sun sets on Shabbat's eve, and where they intend to be for the duration of the Shabbat. So, if their dæmon is inside the Techum but they're outside, is that enough? How about the other way around? Those sound like Rabbi Jeremiah questions from the Talmud, exploring the weirdest possibilities...

Re: the Talmud tractate: I actually created the tag Masechet Er'elim for this idea! So yeah. I will say, though, that a lot of discussions will go into other tractates, as they usyally do. For example, the topics we discussed - about dæmons and Shabbat - will be in the Shabbat tractate of the Talmud.

First things first - the art is obviously by the most lovely @yomi-gaeru​ (in case someone didn’t recognize the style, lol...) Thank you @yomi-gaeru​ for creating such a masterpiece to promote this very important endeavor of mine!

And secondly:

The time for the big reveal has come! My next project  - a collection of MadaSaku prompts will start publishing soon - on January 1st! And, more importantly, this project hasn’t just arose out of my desire to create - this one has a reason and a purpose. This fic collection is a gift and is dedicated to @victoriacapo. @victoriacapo​ - to make the coldest and darkest month a bit brighter, there will be one new story for every day of January :)))

There are going to be feels and fluff and angst and smut and comedy and family vibes... Oneshots, two-shots and even one three-shot. There will be omakes to existing fics, lots of different Canon Deviations, many Warring Clans Era AUs; heck I even managed some Modern!AUs and a fairytale retelling! The quality of world-building is rougher than my usual standards, and most probably the whole thing will be less polished than I would like it to be, but still, I hope you will enjoy the ride. Think about it as of a box of chocolates - you’ll never know what you will get! ;)

For the character ask: Brienne

How I feel about this character

I love her so much, both as a person and a character. Like there are a lot of characters out there that are good people but not that interesting of characters and a lot of really compelling exciting characters that are not good people, but Brienne is both.  I love her mixture of deserved confidence and insecurity.  I love her.  The other day I was going over some Audre Lorde poetry, specifically “A Litany for Survival” and  I feel like that idea of “we were never meant to survive” really applies in so many ways to Brienne.  She is living in a hostile world where she is “wrong” but instead of letting that cow her, she decides that since she will never fit in or be invisible, she might as well speak up by doing what she believes is right.  And she does it with such vulnerability (which I think Cat is drawn to about her initially). Like she can’t hide her raw vulnerable spots, she isn’t good at pretending.  She’s too honest, too direct, too true.   She knows, as well as anyone, that the world is unfair and cruel but she doesn’t let change her to be that way or make her numb.  Brienne feels so deeply, so intensely.   We see so many characters “go away inside” (Sansa vanishing into Alayne, Jaime obviously shares that strategy openly, Cersei uses it to endure sexual encounters she isn’t into, Arya hides in made up personas, Tyrion numbs himself with alcohol) but Brienne stays in the agonizing present.  

All the people I ship romantically with this character

Jaime/Brienne is a forever OTP and nothing holds a candle to it, but I’ve been known to dabble a bit in some Brienne femslash (like the time I wrote Brienne/Arianne) partly because I love the idea of someone who is all the things Brienne feels grief about not being seeing and embracing her.  To me, the key thing is that Brienne finds something who loves her for who she is, not in spite of it, but also that she actually wants.  (And Brienne is a sucker for pretty, isn’t she?)

My non-romantic OTP for this character

I love fics that have her interacting with Tyrion and/or Sansa, for different reasons.  Tyrion, is fun because they are really unalike in a lot of ways but they both know what it is like to be visibly unacceptable to those around you but also really get who Jaime is and love him.  Sansa is interesting because of all the chivalry/songs stuff and longing for love and handsome knights, but also the realization that the world is not going to give you that, but also because Sansa has never actually had anyone whose true loyalty was to her before.  

My unpopular opinion about this character

I don’t know that this is unpopular so much as salty, but it really annoys me when people characterize Brienne as not being into feminine things.  She isn’t rejecting femininity, it has rejected her.  She fantasizes about basically swooning in Jaime’s arms and having him comfort her.  She is uncomfortable in the dress not because she doesn’t like it or want to look good in it but because she feels like she doesn’t and it is embarrassing.    Brienne knows she is ugly, but she WANTS to be beautiful.    She wants to be loved.   

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

I want her and Jaime to have a better ending than the absolutely garbage that was the show. It doesn’t have to be a happy ending, but there’s a difference the tragedy of something like him dying in her arms and saying ”I always said I wanted to die in the arms of the woman I loved” or even just going down together in battle and THAT (derogatory).

Difference between gay and homosexual

Your probably thinking that they mean the same thing but actually technically not quite.

For starters

The term gay dates back to early in the English language in the 13th century uk,

from Old French gai, most likely deriving ultimately from a Germanic source. In English, the word's primary meaning was "joyful", "carefree", "bright and showy

where it was loosly used by the British under  this point for centuries afterward.

It wasn't until the 20th century when it became used as slang jargon for people who were thought to be homosexual. Specifically men who had sex with men, since then they have been used interchagably, and the original use of the word gay began to fall out of usage.

( apparently it wasn't and still isnt as fround apon if it's two woman, for some reason)

Homosexual was coined out of the Bible to quote same sex attractions and it's sinfullness. It became more commonplace to use in the 19th and 20th centuries.

So now what's the difference?

Gay is more broad, it todays term it can simply mean a guy who likes other guys,

and nothing more .

Homosexual is a person who is sexually attracted to the same sex.

This can be guy to guy or woman to woman

While homosexual describes just the SEXUAL ATTRACTION, Gay could be more Broad , to simply just "like"

Like could be:

Romantic/alterius connection ( more than just friends but not quite "a thing"

Aethstietic attraction (looks, physical features)

Sensual attraction (physical closeness or affection)

Or any other stronger than platonic connection/attraction

Andophille attracted to masculinity or masculine like traits

Homosocial

Even more broad still it is loosly used and interchanged with QUEER or other non straight orientation.

Two woman who like each other are called lesbian, while gay is more ofently used for males

Homosexual people are gay yes, but someone who is gay or identifies gay may not necessarily be homosexual.

Monday, April 5th – I worked on Thursday, but then we had that Passover Special Triple Whammy of breaks, and now I’m back. I’ve officially hauled all the non-story content out of the KAY document, and now all that’s left is STORY. 280 pages of it. 76,460 words of it. 20.5 chapters of it. Phew.

Tuesday, April 6th – Everything in the world to do; no time to do it in. I have now officially cleaned out the original KAY References document, so that it contains all the miscellaneous stuff and the Outline document contains all the outlines/ideas.

Sunday, April 11th – Spent most of my time on Book Two’s outline, figuring out orders and details. name: wildheart specise: fire element draco-morphiad (explained below) pronouns: she/her

specise info: draco-morphiads are, basically, a specise of sexless magic cat furries. each one of them controls one of twelve elements (although two of them are special); fire (fire elements are also able to control one type of igneous rock, differing depending on the individual), water, earth, air, plant, plague, void (this void being concentrated everythingness and named for its pitch black color, there may only be one void element at a time and only two have ever been recorded), quantum strings (this has been proven to be possible, but never recorded), gemstone, metal, sound and light. draco-morphiads have a unique internal anatomy, their body cavity is filled entirely with liquid magic. this magic contains their consiousness and, when needed, forms organs to keep the draco-morphiad alive. draco-morphiads also have whats known as elemental bits, an extra part of their body made from their element or regular body part modified by it. draco eye color is also generally dictated by their element. just a draco-morphiad generation (they live tens of thousands of years) ago, they had an expansive interdimensional (this takes place in a multiverse) empire. but for reasons now lost to time, it fell. the specise took heavy casualties, although it was nowhere close to extinction. theyre rarer now, and... scattered, to say the least. their natural ability to create interdimensional portals doesnt help that. given that draco-morphiads are sexless, their native language's pronouns were dependant on element, but wildheart was raised by a sexed specise tens of thousands of years after the near extinction of the language (plus draco-morphiads were invented to explain her so i think she should get to keep her pronouns).

apperance: wildheart has brown fur, which turns abruptly black (like, theres a straight, non-gradiant divide between the back and brown) at the waist, so approximately half of her is black and half is brown . she has blood red eyes. fire element eyes are usually orange, but this is explained. she has a pair of half-crescent obsidian wings coming out of her shoulderblades, each one flanked by three floating obsidian triangles. embedded in her chest is a peice of obsidian shaped like a broken heart, and her claws are obsidian as well. she has a couple notches in each ear and a scar over her eye.

story: wildheart is born on a remote planet in a remote universe. save for her and her littermate, their parents and their older sibling squirreltail. soon after the two's birth, their parents die of reasons. unprepared to take care of them, squirreltail opens two portals to random inhabited parts of the multiverse and sends them through, hoping each will be picked up by someone responsible and more able than him.wildheart ends up being adopted by a family of goatlike skeleton monsters, where she stays for the first 13 years of her life (draco-mophiads age like humans up until about their 20th birthday). during this time she becomes incredibly close with her adopted brother, [edit with name later, i forgot it]. shortly after her 13th birthday, wildheart discovered her ability to make portals. with their parents permission, she and her brother went out to explore the multiverse a little.on their little jaunt, the two encountered a creature totally alien to them, and wildheart dared her brother to go poke it with a stick. unfortunately, the creature turned out to be a bear-esque superpreadator and ripped wildheart's brother to shreds while she watched.wildheart opened a portal to nowhere in particular, landing her at a market in the interdimensional void (my imagining of the multiverse is, like space, mostly empty. universes take the shape of enormous white orbs with the texture of frosted lightbulbs. their glow is soft, yet can be seen from light centuries away). scared to go back home, she wandered.and wildheart never stopped wandering. she quickly exanded her scope to universe hopping, trying her best to repress the memories and emotions from her brother's death.during the next eleven years, wildheart developed a routine. explore and universe hop, break gear, plunder something ancient for rare stuff, sell it at the interdimensional market, get new gear, repeat. in ancient tombs and temples, wildheart saw one thing over and over again. carvings of things that looked like her, had the same powers as her. naturally, she assumed she was the last.on the eve of her 24th birthday, wildheart was traveling through the market, looking for something special to get herself. wherever she went, the vendors all talked about one thing. the nearby combat arena had a new champion, a catlike (cats are p much a multiversal constant) calling herself reaper. knowing wildheart, many suggested she challenge her.wildheart was confident in her abilities, both physical and magical, so she decided that a championship would be the perfect gift to herself.

she actually proved a pretty even match for reaper, but in the end the champion won. though wildheart's energy seemed boundless, reapers patience and tactical skill were ultimately able to exhaust her.

after the fight, the two met by chance somewhere in/around the market. they got to talking, reaper asking what wildheart does for a living. finding the prospect of universe-hopping more interesting than beating the shit out of people, reaper asked to join wildheart.

reaper was a tall (for a draco) draco-morphiad with black fur, white patterns outlining the shape of her skeleton (or what it would be if draco-morphiads had those). she wore a grey hoodie. her wings, skeletal things composed entirely of ice, marked her as a water element, though her eyes seemed to contradict that (although wildheart didnt really know that). instead of the slightly desaturated off-teal you would expect from a water element, reapers eyes were pich black with pupils colored a deep, beautiful blue.

anyway, after a few weeks of traveling the multiverse together, the two encountered something strange. a universe with no glow, just a dull grey orb.

portaling inside (and quickly leaving), the two found that the universe was empty. it had experienced a heat death, something totally unnatural in this setting.

wildheart and reaper agreed that they had to find and kill whoever did this.

idk how, exactly, they found him, but that person turned out to be a being calling himself entropy, the incarnation of the void, the nothingness that came before the multiverse. while he was monolouging about a pair of beings called 'chaos' and 'order',  wildheart and reaper tried to jump entropy. entropy did not like this. he used some sort of attack that sent the pair into a strange voidspace.

sat in this voidspace was a pair of beings. a scribbled dragon, with eyes of wildheart's blood red, and a hyperrealistic marble statue of a woman with a buzzcut in a dress, with gemstone eyes of reapers deep, beautiful blue. the two were enormous, the tip of the dragons talon bigger than wildheart's entire body. they were playing chess on a table of equal proportions.

"you're back early." remarked the dragon "did something happen?"

after a bit of confusion, it became understood that wildheart and reaper had no idea who these people were or where they were.

the two giants explained that they were chaos (the scribbled dragon) and order, demiurges of the multiverse.

many googols (a number with a hundred zeroes) of googols of eons ago, there was nothing. out of that nothing arose chaos, pure unbridled creation. but without filter, chaos could not create or take any definite form. and so, it (chaos is they/it) sat as a sort of existance soup for not even they know how long. until, at some point, order arose from the void. order was filter, what chaos needed to truly create. she (order is she/it) could not create by itself either, each dependant on the other to do something they instinctually longed for. order's form was also much different from her current day form, either a ball of quantum strings or a colorless cube of indeterminate material (i havent decided). so, the two came together and created. one of the first things the two created was a pair of souls, one blood red and the other a deep, beautiful blue. each one carved their true name into the corresponding soul in the first language, marking them as the incarnations of chaos and order.t hey were to be sent out into the multiverse together every once in a while, when the multiverse needed saving or just spicing up. of course the current incarnations were wildheart, incarnation of chaos and reaper, incarnation of order. they had been sent out this time for the purpose of killing entropy, whose trail of destruction included countless universes. but for reasons i dont know yet but were probably a mistake on chaos and orders part, they couldnt do it by themselves. they needed two more of their kind (chaos was vague about what 'their kind' was because i want it to be revealed in the narrative later). idk if its the two specific dracos they meet later or just any.

theyre currently in the place behind existance, chaos and order's personal voidspace.

chaos also reveals when talking to order that wildheart and reaper are siblings, before promptly sending them back out into the multiverse. entropy has long moved on, assuming he killed the two siblings.

the story isnt too well planned from here but

after some freaking out/contemplating/whatever over the fact that theyre siblings, wildheart and reaper continue on.

eventually, they encounter Six Of Spades, child of the last draco-morphiad monarch. saen (six of spades uses saen/trah pronouns, the traditional draco neutral/no-element pronouns) is a no-element, a semi-rare mutant with, you guessed it, no element. six of spades percives this as a fault of some sort, and overcompensates for it by playing up the ‘last heir to the draco-morphiad throne’ thing. Technically, saens cousin would have inherited the throne, but saen has no cousins saens aware of. six of spades would actually make a good monarch, if not for saens general neurosis and feeling of being (mostly) superior to those around trah.

six of spades watched saens parent die in front of saen to poachers, who wanted monarch eris (six of spades's parent)'s teeth. the teeth are the only part of a draco-morphiads pure magic core that doesnt simply dissipate after death. theyre an extremely potent source of magic, thus why draco-morphiads were killed for them shortly after the fall of the empire.

apperance wise, six of spades is an average sized (about 4 feet tall) grey draco-morphiad. saen has medium-grey fur down to saens waist, where its abruptly replaced by light grey scales. saen has ear fins like a dragon, and spikes going down saens back that may or may not start with the scales. six of spades has a lizard like tail and long, angular talons. save for color scheme (monarch eris was green), the spitting image of saens parent. six of spades also wears a worn gold crown and carries a worn gold staff with a magic gemstone orb, both posessions of monarch eris

wldheart and reaper convince six of spades to come with them.

eventually, they encounter a young (about 13 year old)
