this isnt the kind of stuff i'd usually post but im fuckin losing my mind. ive been watching through the bilibili livestream vods of like this arknights lore creator reading through and commentating on like the game stories and right now im watching the vod from his main story chapter 11 stream and his reaction to logos' sprite reveal is so fucking funny i had to clip it. man is really having a crisis on stream

Overwhelmed by that new episode but one thing I just can’t shake is the suspicion that that’s Diego Molina. I know it isn’t. But the descriptions are a suspicious coincidence.

The association with fire and something called Hilltop is just something I can’t dismiss yet. I don’t know what that would even really mean if it was, but it immediately jumped out at me.

Drabble 85/366 - Doctor Who

“Is your grandfather ignoring you, my dear?” The Master scoops up Susan as she cries.

“She has to sleep in her crib.” The Doctor does nothing to stop him. (Susan has clearly inherited her father’s lungs.) “Put her down, Koschei.”

The Master smiles down at her. “Hush,” he murmurs. Susan inhales, and the Doctor tenses for another wail. “I said, hush, child.”

Susan blinks, sleepy.

“That’s cheating,” the Doctor grumbles.

“She doesn’t mind.” He rocks Susan, finally asleep through his hypnotic intervention. “You look as exhausted as she does.”

“Don’t even try.” The Master laughs, softly so Susan doesn’t wake.

I think every moment is eternal in its own right and we hold no authority to deny it that status. Even if it is a forever that will escape our memories, it’ll still exist as a forever in the history of time. In the memories of no-one but the Earth itself. In the records kept and made by no-one, where everything is stored for all time to come. No love is lost and no existence truly unacknowledged.

So seriously: if you have a serious recoil/disgust factor at uncommonly eaten parts of an animal being in any kind of food context (eg: whole fish being served at a table) and you want to work on minimizing that reaction, I really really recommend eating "normal" versions of those unusual foods, like for example deli-sliced tongue. I know I'm talking out of my ass here, but things like liver and haggis (organ meat), tongue (tongue), and probably a whole lot of others I've never had can be pretty easily made into forms that taste real good and don't look much like a weird lump of flesh you can recognize, and being able to get from "that's weird and gross but I want to get it" to "that's weird but it tastes really good and I want to get it" will probably make building up momentum easier when you move on to less "common" pastures.

Ok, podcast website, I desperately seek advice on a podcast I can start listening to!

-nonfiction/informational is good as long as there is not a ton of banter (big hater of banter when it’s just like guys who are supposed to be teaching you something). fictional/story based stuff also works!

-bonus points if there is some sort of transcript I can follow along with cause my ass is Audio Impaired

- podcastable interests I guess?: medicine, magick, Hellenism, animals/bio, punk rock, horror, gay shit hell yeah, comics, art, film, uhhhhhh anything crazy weird or creepy

-I got through like a season of welcome to nightvale and it was pretty good, I got further in the magnus archives but it got boring when they stopped just being monster of the week type dealio and I don’t wanna have to relisten to it all again rn (in the future perhaps)

I've been seeing a lot of people redrawing their old work and I wanted to give it a try :D after this I will be doing another one because I've never had such a dopamine boost (or it could be me having my first energy drink in a month)

I honestly can't say for sure when the first one was done, but if I were to take a guess... 2016? It's when I got my first pair of markers. I loved drawing mermaids at the time bc it let me draw long flowey hair while avoiding legs haha, and this particular drawing was my favorite 🧜‍♀️
