i just need to take a second to gush about how much i love durge drow and astarion, they feel so fleshed out and perfectly written together in their fucked up wretched ways. They really inspire me to write more for my own tavs, hopefully one day ill be able to say im as happy with my own work as i get when seeing yours. I have to ask though, do you have any tips on drawing head shapes and faces? or maybe about wrinkles? i find i really struggle with that stuff when drawing and i adore how expressive and grungey all your art looks!
First of all thank you so much, I love hearing what people think of the two of them together 😭
Honestly you've hit on something that's quite near and dear to my heart, I love developing and figuring how to draw and stylize different faces to get the most unique, interesting looking results - everything about the details is highly rewarding to me. What does x type of nose look like from this angle? In this style? How can this eyeshape best translate to my art? How different does a face look when its making this expression? What does that MOUTH DO? etc etc.
In fact you kind of inspired me to put a little tutorial/guide together the last hour lmao and what a blessing it is that the two current subjects of this blog serve as great models here, being that their faces are basically polar opposites!
When it comes to heads, you've probably heard it a dozen times before that you want to think of them in terms of geometry and facets; my process to drawing them is pretty conventional so I won't spend too much time on it, but it goes something like this:
Obviously I don't do every single one of these steps most of the time, which is just something that comes from practice/developing muscle memory, but it is helpful to start off this way for two main reasons:
By making these guide lines and splitting a head into pieces like this, you'll have an easier time seeing and understanding it as a multidimensional object, and in turn, facilitate It for you when you venture out into doing wacky angles and lighting.
Making different headshapes starts HERE. notice how Astarion's "face" slate is narrower and longer, how my durge's jaw pieces sit lower on the head, how all of the same pieces came together in the same way but we ended up with one real pointy elf and a real brick of a drow - making characters look different successfully begins very early in the sketching process.
The next thing you want to do branches out into every day life: start noticing yours and other people's facial features. How does an upturned nose look from a high angle? How does the size of someone's cheekbones affect what they look like when they smile? How about when the light hits them a certain way? Does someone's lip shape changes when they pout? When they laugh? How does a person's hairline change the shape of their face? You do NOT need to creepily sketch every stranger you see on the bus, but get into the habit of actually noticing what people look like when you talk to them - when you look at pictures, when you watch movies - make a mental list of interesting ways mouths, noses, and eyes can come together in a variety of different proportions to make completely distinct looking mugs, and how they change depending on how you are looking at them.
Light and shadow play a HUGE role in how faces look, too, basically as crucial as actual bone structure does. As you see up there I tried to rough out how natural, head on, and underhead light would look on these two very different looking guys, and while we can see definite patterns, there are small differences that come to be because of the sizes and shapes of their features.
Here is a very, very basic look at how some of these features come to look the way they do, how they interact with one another, and how they compare between a blocky, rather conventionally "masculine" head and one that's much softer and slimmer.
Note please that it is not one or two characteristics that give a chaarcter their "look"; you can reduce a face to eyes, mouth, and nose through stylization and still have them be recognizable, but if you want to do more than that, you have to consider the whole package! Chin, cheeks, brows, direction of the jaw, slope and size of the forehead, depth of eyes, ridge of the nose, etc - I know this is probably far more than you bargained for, but if you start making note of a FEW of these things now and slowly add on, this will eventually become second nature to you.
Similarly, understanding how these characteristics come together will help you with rendering light and shadow in a realistic way, and predicting what their facial expressions may look like - if no two people are alike, neither are their smiles. :)
Lastly, remember that I'm no expert - I have developed my own methods and semiotics and yours may look slightly (or vastly) different, and that's fine! I hope only that by sharing this it has given you a base to work off of.
Anyways, I HOPE this has been helpful and not just the unsolicited ramblings of a face pervert.

wait need a 141 scare actors x reader blurb
Synopsis: A horror night worker sees you and gives his men a task; make sure you leave smiling. Pairing: TF141!Scare Actors x GN!Reader (first meeting vibes so nothing too crazy but Kyle’s too great for me to keep it lowkey lmao) Word Count: 3.6k (I think) Warnings: negative self-talk, reader is very lonely (reasons up to you) a/n: Let me know if I missed any warnings or did not keep it gender-neutral and I will fix it <3. You gave me the green light and you will pay dearly for how badly I wish I were a better writer. Happy Halloween!
A man with an interesting mustache and beard combo greets you at the gates.
“Admission for one?” He asks, glancing over your shoulder to check that your friends or partner aren’t lagging.
The question pokes at the part inside of you that recoils into your shell when others notice how alone you are, the forever raw wound that no positive affirmations or small bouts with talk therapists have been able to scab over. It’s constantly bleeding, oozing thoughts in voices you both recognize and don’t. They cover a wide variety, though they lead back to you, a homing missile locked onto your actual self and not the warped beyond-recognition version they are about. The version no one who knows you sees. You’ve been told you’re actually not that bad; you’re still stuck on why they used the word actually in something meant to be complimentary.
One therapist (the one you felt could help, but they decided a job in another state was more important than your problems), said that the best way to combat these thoughts is to fight them, think louder and harder in the opposite direction, even if you think you’re lying to yourself. So, that’s what you did. You psyched yourself up in the mirror for the better part of an hour as you pulled on your costume and repeated to yourself that this was normal.
Why should an infamous horror night be such a big deal? People go out alone all the time.
“Yep,” you say with a forced smile. It’s enough, but it doesn’t feel like enough. So, you over-explain because your mouth never knows when to quit. “I love going to these alone, really puts me in the Halloween mood.”
The man tilts his head to one side, observing that slight pinch of your expression. Your voice is light and measured. And that smile. You’re performing. Everything about this is fake, everything about you is fake, a mask worn when the switch in your brain flips to ‘social interaction mode’, so strangers think of you in a certain way. You want him to know you’re not the least bit insecure about being alone. Not at all. The distant sounds of screaming and laughter inside the park don’t carve into you like an ice pick.
You’re not fooling him—no one can, as far as he’s concerned. He’s posted at the entrance for a reason, not because he’s grown too old to run around and scare people with grotesque makeup or prop weapons. He’s an assessor through and through. One brief conversation and he knows whether someone will be a good sport or one of those rude assholes that think it’s cool to scream back at the actors or posturing snobs who shit all over their efforts. You may be lying to him and yourself, but you won’t be a problem.
Something about you reminds him of someone. He draws the comparison only after you school your smile to a blank expression. You have smile lines around your mouth, evidence that the muscles aren’t under-used, he just wonders how many are genuine.
You’re still staring at him as he extends his hand towards you, palm up.
“Give it here,” he orders and gestures towards your own, which has been clutching the fabric of your costume as if you think it’s trying to escape.
You stretch out your fingers, persuading them to relax and hold out your clammy hand so he can press a stamp down on the back of it. The design glows a bright lavender when light catches it at a certain angle, indecipherable enough that you can’t figure out exactly what it says or depicts. You’re about to pull away when he stamps you again. You don’t ask why, assuming it’s because the first was too light or smudged. With a gentle parting squeeze, your hand is your own again. You start towards the exit as he’s stuffing the stamp back into his pocket.
He speaks again just as you’re about to be past his shoulder. His voice is soft but gritty like a smoker's. “You have yourself a hell of a night, alright?”
“Yes, Sir.” You curse yourself for your unnecessary use of the title as you make it past the entrance to the park. You don’t know why you called him that, but it makes more sense than it should. He has a natural ability to garner respect, you felt it even in that brief interaction. He chuckles, rough and deep, as he pulls his phone out to make do with his mission.
You take a break from screaming and scurrying away from zombies and slashers to do something fun.
And what’s more fun than blowing too much money on playing carnival games until you win one of the large plushies? It seems easy enough after the woman running the stand explains the game to you—until you’ve sunk twenty bucks into it and only manage one ring on a bottle. The others have bounced off and landed on the ground.
The stares of the wide-eyed plushies feel less like they’re cheering you on and more like they’re mocking you. Are you seriously playing a child’s game alone? And losing? Why? So you can win a dumb stuffed animal? You’ll leave here the same way you came and you deserve it.
There’s no way one is even worth the amount that you've lost so far. You’re ready to throw in the towel when you sense something behind you.
It shouldn’t be something that spells danger, not with the woman who has been pocketing your money standing just a few feet away, but your body seems to ignore that fact and react as though Michael Myers himself is lurking behind you.
You whirl around and your bones turn to ice when you find yourself face-to-chest with a tall, imposing figure. You’re too aghast to scream, mind-body connection severed, you’re left gaping up at the man like a fish out of water. He can’t have been there long, but you’ve been so caught up in the game that he could’ve been standing behind you the entire time.
The man does not react to your fear, just meets you with an uncomfortably realistic-looking skull mask and unblinking eyes. His posture is rigid, like one of the decorative scarecrows you saw near the entrance. His eyes rake over your body in a way that reminds you of an x-ray, lingering on something for a prolonged moment. Whatever he sees, it pushes him to speak to you.
“This one’s fuckin’ awful.”
His eyes crinkle at the corners, dark pools glinting with humor, but you’re too busy trying to calm your racing heart to respond. He’s used to people being afraid of him beyond the context of working at events like this, so he steps around you and picks up the pile of rings on the table. You press a trembling hand to your chest and take deep, pacifying breaths.
In and out, you tell yourself, over and over, until your heartbeat no longer resembles the sound of galloping horses. In the time it takes you to collect your bearings, he's thrown each ring over the tops of three bottles effortlessly. Anxiety dissolves into confusion, even more when he turns to you and then jerks his head towards the higher shelves, ignoring the slightly annoyed woman behind the counter. She was probably hoping you’d spend another couple of dollars.
“Oh.” Confusion melts into realization. Your lips curl upwards, but something still doesn’t feel right. He’d broken character to help you for seemingly no reason. “Thank you, but you didn’t need to-”
“Already did. Pick the one you want.”
His insistence is sharp but harmless equally. The prize is yours, so no use in trying to out-polite the man.
When you look back at the shelves, it’s with a radiant smile. Even though you hadn’t exactly won one yourself, the kindness of the skull-faced stranger was enough to silence your worries. The perfect one picks you before you pick it. There’s a lone skeleton with cutesy eyes and a squishy body surrounded by a sea of adorable plush pumpkins and black cats. You point to it and the woman behind the counter hands it over with a half-hearted “congrats”. The stranger in the mask smiles at your choice, though you’re not looking at him. When you’re done giving testing squeezes to the plushie, you turn to the man to thank him again, but he’s nowhere to be found, gone just as quietly as he’d appeared.
Sometime later, plushie in your arms, you find the line for a walk through the cornfield. It winds around plastic dividers like a snake, but what else can you expect from the major attraction when the night is in full swing? You join the line, picking at the white tag sewn into the leg of your plushie. There’s a couple in front of you dressed in matching costumes; they decide the wait is the perfect time to get reacquainted with one another. A worker ropes off the divider so no one else can enter and the distracted group of friends in front of the couple doesn’t notice or care about them, so no one else accompanies you in the awkwardness of listening to smacking lips and affectionate hums. Bitterness swells in your throat like you’ve swallowed a pill without water. Stroking the soft underbelly of your prize helps—somewhat. You think about the sweet, albeit intense, scare actor until the giggling couple with now identically smudged makeup walks hand-in-hand through the entrance.
There is little to no light inside of the field. The brightest thing is the moonlight, which makes walking down the dirt path between corn stalks an even more eerie experience. It’s almost peaceful, ignoring the creepy props lining the paths and the random actors hidden in the stalks itching to grab at your ankles or jump out at you (three have accosted you so far). And soon to be a fourth as corn rustles in front of you, leaf blades bouncing off each other harsher than when skimmed by the wind.
Another couple of steps and a man in a bloody burlap sack-like mask pops out with outstretched arms and a loud “boo” to top it all off—you yelp, nearly dropping your plushie on the ground.
The man responds with a laugh, infectious and warm, before tugging off his mask. Odd, you think, because none of the other actors had prolonged the interaction after leaving you short of breath. Well, none but one.
“I’m Kyle,” he introduces himself, flashing a disarming smile. It’s dazzling, you almost miss him holding out a hand. “Sorry for…you know, just doin’ my job and all.”
Without the disturbing mask, he’s quite pretty, the kind that makes you immediately comply and give him both your right hand and name. Your stamps glow under the moonlight, and he sighs in relief, shoulders relaxing. He thought you’d have left by now.
“Nice meeting you,” he says, bowing at the waist.
He’s prince-levels of charming, much too relaxed for the environment. His costume is more normal than scary without the mask, just a deep red tunic and dark-wash jeans. You can make out small bits of hay stuck to his hair and clothes. It makes for a dorky and cute visual.
He does not slink back into the corn as the actors before him did. Instead, he straightens, making a face at the stuffed animal you’re holding.
“You win that for yourself?”
“Tried to, but one of the actors ended up helping me, actually.”
He quirks a brow. “You pick it because it looks like him?”
You don’t know how he guessed so quickly, but you nod, sheepish that he’d caught you clutching it so protectively, like you were holding a dear gift from a loved one.
It’s just a stupid toy a stranger won for you. Won for you. You hold it tighter.
Kyle shakes his head, muttering “smart bastard” under his breath and then his eyes are on you. He has that deep shade of brown that’s impossible to say no to.
“The way to the exit can be a bit borin’,” he explains, his lips pursed in thought. “You alright with some company?”
And now you’re even more confused. Was he even allowed to? And why would he care if you’re bored?
“Will you get in trouble?” You ask, glancing towards the quiet path, trying to gauge how long you’d be pulling him away from his job. From what he’s saying, you can assume the exit is near, but you can’t see it from here.
“Nah, you were the last one coming through, so I’m free to roam,” he shrugs, stepping out of your way so you can walk side-by-side.
You soon discover Kyle is even more of a gem than you’d initially realized. He's more than just a beautiful person to look at, he’s funny, and more friendly with you than strangers ought to be. He asks about you. You don’t know what to say at points, but he doesn’t seem to mind. When your voice wavers or your tongue fumbles, he’s patient. He’s genuinely interested, actually listening, and those pools of brown are as distracting as you thought because soon you’re walking underneath the cobweb-decorated archway signaling the end of the walk.
Your heart clenches. You’re not ready for your night to be over. You’re not prepared for your time with Kyle to be over, to face that tonight has been one of the few times you’ve been the target of considerate treatment and could very well be the only time.
You miss the reflected disappointment in his features because a harsh sound cuts through the air, similar to the rev of a car engine. Then it happens again, just as cacophonic followed by maniacal laughter, and a large man barrels through the corn so quickly you scream and nearly fall over into Kyle’s arms.
“Fuckin’ hell ‘Tavish, you nearly killed my new friend here,” Kyle laughs, patting you on the back. Reassurance. You’re in no danger.
The chainsaw wielder lets the act go rather quickly, lowering it to the ground and regarding you with a mischievous grin.
“Just doin’ my job,”—the man waves off the accusation—“Not my fault Price chose a screamer.”
You squint at the man who’d nearly given you a heart attack. Price chose you? Who’s Price? Kyle claps the man on the back of the head. They interact as old friends, brothers.
“Sorry,” Kyle turns to you, apologetic. “Should’ve warned you about the main event. Got a bit distracted.”
In fairness, you were too. You don’t mention that it was because of his eyes..
“Apology accepted,” you say, “Though your friend is on thin ice.”
“Me?” The man in question scoffs like you’ve accused him of a grave sin. His lips press together to keep his laughter at bay, though he’s got about as much tact as the hair on his head, which is shaved on both sides, leaving a strip of hair down the middle. He’s cocky, you can sense that. Cocky people are to you what salt is to a snail, though Kyle doesn’t seem the type to surround himself with the bad kind, so you try not to curl in on yourself.
“Not jus’ his friend,” he says, sending you a wink, “I’m John, Johnny if yer feelin’ brave.”
Kyle rolls his eyes and nudges you with his shoulder to get you walking towards the park exit, a straight shot from the cornfield. “Come on, we don’t need to take this.”
“You scared me too,” you remind him as Johnny takes up the space on your left side, “Don’t think I forgot about that.”
He snorts, “Touche.”
“A screamer an’ not afraid to knock you down a peg,” Johnny notes, “I like ‘em already.” He hasn’t stopped staring at the side of your face. You wipe your hand across your cheek in case something is on it.
The walk through the park is quiet, save for Johnny and Kyle throwing friendly jabs at one another. Most people have already left; the last few actors send looks in your direction and carnival game runners are shutting off their lights and closing down for the night.
“You have fun tonight?” Johnny asks you once the parking lot comes into view. Only a handful of clusters of cars remained in contrast to when you’d arrived.
The most fun you’ve had in a while. You’ve grown used to that heavy chunk of loneliness sitting in your chest like a rock. You drag it around behind you, a life sentence. Let it tether to your emotions and bog them down, anchoring your feet in some instances and letting the ground swallow you whole in others. You’re going home with a small part carved out. A crevice where something less bitter and more sweet can wedge itself in and find a home, spreading far and wide if you’re lucky.
The two exchange toothy grins when you respond positively, a cheerful smile cracking your face open for them to see. The look withholds a meaning that you aren’t privy to. Price was right, as always. A special someone deserved more smiles tonight, and they’d accomplished their mission.
“Found you any earlier an’ I would’ve won you one of those too,”—Johnny gestures to your plushie—“Ah’ve got an arm on me, a mean one when it comes to the bottle toss.”
Kyle and you roll your eyes. You assume the people in his life have grown quite comfortable doing so. Your initial descriptor of cocky was accurate, but he’s endearingly cocky in a way that doesn’t put you off too much.
“Watch it, the big guy will take your head off,” Kyle warns.
“He’s not even here. I can say wha’ I want.”
“He’s right behind you.”
“Nah, he’s—” Johnny spins around and gasps, similar to how you’d reacted earlier, though he is a bit more dramatic. “Steamin’ Jesus, where’d you come from?”
You turn as well, hoping it’s who you’re thinking, and it is. The man who’d won you the plushie you’re holding.
He looks at you in the same way as before, though his imposing figure seems more relaxed than it had been. You presume these men are all friends. They seem comfortable enough around each other to be.
“Price wants to see us,” he says, his deep voice rolling from his chest the way water does over the smoothed rock on the bank of a river. You can hear it much clearer now that your heartbeat isn’t thrumming in your ears.
“Can it wait?” Kyle glances towards you. “Wanted to make sure they made it out alright.”
Another chip at that loneliness, but you don’t want to jeopardize anything with him and Price—who you assume is his boss—even if you’d prefer he continues lessening the weight holding you down beneath your rib cage.
“You’ve done enough, Kyle,” you say, pointing behind you with your free hand, “I can see my car from here, anyway. I’ll be fine.”
“We cannae let ‘em go without makin’ sure, Simon,” Johnny insists, echoing Kyle’s sentiment and steamrolling over your assurance.
Simon, finally a name for the face, or at least the parts of it you can see. Kyle and Johnny had shed their costumes, yet he wears his like a second skin. His stiff demeanor from earlier seems more of a costume than anything he’s wearing.
Simon glances over your shoulder to where you’d pointed, dark eyes impossible to read. Johnny turns up the dial on his charm. At least that’s what you think he’s doing when he gives Simon a wide-eyed, puppy-like expression, pressing his palms together in front of his face and tipping his head forward. The picture would be complete if he sunk onto his knees with a bible in his hands.
He has the energy of the youngest son in the family. The visual brings a laugh tumbling from your lips and Simon relents, shoving his hands in his pockets.
“Go on then, we’ll watch from here.”
So you do, waving at the group, who murmur their goodbyes, and then walking to your car.
You walk slower than you need to, relishing in the experience of people wanting to ensure you made it anywhere safe. It’s a luxury. You strive for it like people dream about vacationing or owning a house. Unfortunately, time stands still for no one.
Chancing a look at the group of men as you climb into the driver’s seat, you find six pairs of eyes. Kyle smiles broadly, you get another wink and smirk from Johnny, and Simon blinks at you from behind his mask. You barely know them and yet their reactions are all so distinctly them. You beam, holding up the plush skeleton and waving one last time like an Olympic athlete holding up their medals before resting it on the passenger's seat.
Alone again, you push your key into the ignition and your car comes to life. The dashboard bathes everything in a golden glow. Come morning, when you’re bathed in a similar hue by the rising sun, you’ll think about this night. You’ll think about them, each of them, and you’ll wonder. Hugging your prize from the night, you will implant the memory into the grooves of your brain, where it can sit safe and snug, just as looked after as you’d been. You’ll wonder if any of them will end up in your life again, and hope the answer to that question is ‘yes’.

BACK 🤺 BACK I SAY
oh.... oh so u don't wanna hear ab how suguru looks at you when you say it? the sparkle when he imagines how you wriggle and writhe when you touch yourself? how you jump away when you're under someone else? oh my lord referencing this post <3 w/c: 1.1k tw: f!reader not proofread, alcohol consumption, masturbation, fantasising, edging/ruining orgasms, i think that's all lmao
“oh, god! oh! t-there, right there!” you cringe behind your glass of wine, sucking down the liquid quickly before you choke on it, the typical over the top performance out of the actress in the romance; her back arching into a perfect semi circle, the montage of angles of skin against skin, of lips locked together, of lovesick smiles, of parted lips, heaving chests. the scene was cinematic, there was really no other way to describe it, framed in a way entirely opposite to real life, at least in your experience.
then, the crescendo of her performance; the curled toes, smudged red lips in a perfect ‘o’, the hand reaching between her thighs, the mantra of her lovers name, her hands pushing low on his abdomen, just out of frame, and of course, a long drawn out, high moan.
you’re too many glasses in to try and hide your expression, your eyebrows and lips contorting into a displeased face, drawing down as you turned away from the screen, reaching toward the table between you all to pour another glass.
“what’s that face for?” satoru snorts, tipping his glass towards you while you still have a hold on the bottle, the last of the liquid topping him off.
“what face?” you attempt to keep your tone even, your expression as blank as you can, your friends blue eyes twinkling as he sipped on the glass again, his vision a little blurred staring at you from across the room, as was yours.
maybe that was why you quirked an eyebrow at him, why your lips felt a little looser than they normally do with him and suguru.
“i’m not making any face.” it’s suguru’s turn to snort, raising his glass to his lips when you direct your gaze towards him, a small scowl on your lips.
“it’s just all so… over the top.” there’s more confidence behind your voice than you anticipate, “surely no one’s ever cum like that.”
you glance back and forth between the men, searching for some kind of answer that you weren’t the only one thinking that the acting was cinematic, but unrealistic, no one grips the sheets until they tear in real life… do they?
“are you asking?” suguru speaks up, his gaze trained steadily on you, a lot steadier than satoru’s blurred vision. you think he’s grinning at you behind his glass, or maybe his face is just warping against it.
“or just admitting no one’s made you squirt.” satoru gestures towards the ever changing screen with his glass, the wine nearly spilling from the rim as he does so; the lovers now in a new position, the frame cutting off just above the love interests cock, still showing how he thrusts in and out of the woman beneath him, one hand on her hip, the other between her thighs as his hips rhythmically slam into hers, her face scrunching up once more, with more dramatics of god, you’re so big, i’m gonna cum, i think i’m gonna–i’m gonna squir–fuck! it’s your turn to snort, more impressed with the actress than satoru’s statement.
“i’ve never cum, let alone squirt.” you laugh at the statement, thinking nothing of it when the sentence leaves your lips, taking another sip of the sweet wine as the pair stared with wide eyes.
“you’ve never cum?!” satoru is the first one to break the silence, well, as silent as it could get with the borderline softcore porn playing on the screen. your gaze flitters back over sluggishly to the white-haired man, your eyebrows drawn down in a confused expression at him.
“huh?”
“you just said you’ve never cum.” your eyes then shift to suguru, his sharp eyes boring into your own fuzzy ones. had you really just said that? in front of them? were you this tipsy already?
“i mean, i don’t think so.” why were you still talking. stop talking.
“you’d know.” satoru interrupts, like he and suguru were interrogators, both of them inching closer to uncovering the final clue to break open the case with how they stared so curiously at you.
“you’ve seriously never cum?” you shake your head once more, your cheeks warming doubly from the alcohol and the embarrassment when you stand up, walking on shaky legs back into the kitchen. you’re still avoiding both their curious gazes when you pop a second bottle, pouring another glass of the new one (about twice as much as you poured in the earlier glasses).
“i think i’ve gotten close?” you don’t know why you’re still talking, but it’s as if your tongue moves of its own accord, “i mean, i’ve felt good, i just don’t get like that.”
you gesture again to the scene, the sex winding down, both actors covered in a slight sheen of sweat after the twenty minute ordeal, hair plastering down on their skin.
“you know, it starts, it’s good,” you stare down into the glass, faking hypnosis by the swirl of the wine in the centre, “and it’ll like, build, and then i stop.”
you shrug again, as if unsure about what you’re describing to your friends, the feeling when you’re touching yourself; the sensation of ghosting over your tits, sliding over your skin, your abdomen into your panties. when you finally sink into yourself, how your cunt twitches around your fingers, how it aches when you fuck yourself, the dull ache growing and growing and growing until you pull away, letting the feeling shatter and ebb away, always leaving you tingling, fuzzy but never entirely fulfilled.
“you stop yourself?” you think it’s suguru questioning you, a light, teasing lilt in his voice like he’s almost happy you’ve never orgasmed, even more so you did it yourself, “you ruin your orgasms?”
now you’re looking at him, you know he’s smiling at the thought, the fantasy flashing in front of his eyes of furrowed eyebrows, frustrated tears welling in your eyes when you ruin it again, when you pull your fingers from yourself too early, or your vibrator slips from your fingers leaving your cunt numb and your clit aching painfully. but god, the vision of your nails wrapping around your partners wrist, tugging their hand from your pussy, or your hands pressing low into their abdomen, mumbling about it being too much, fuck, it feels too good.he thanks every god above you and satoru are lightweights, even as you sit back down in front of the screen, oblivious to the tent growing in his pants and a determination boiling in his blood to be the one to get you squirting on his cock the very first time he makes you cum, the first time anyone makes you cum.

5 Fun Facts About the Prostate!
I finally finished it. I'm not going to beta read it bc this thing has been causing me so much pain lmao.
Zayne gets pegged. That's it. That's the fic. Enjoy. NSFW, MDNI
3.8k words
It's one of those few times when I have Zayne on my lap, instead of the other way around when I finally get the courage to ask about something I've been thinking about... For a while.
His hands are braced on the back of the couch on either side of me, and he's been tugged closer and closer while we kiss, thanks to my grip on his tie that I refuse to relinquish. Still, even though he's straddling me, Zayne doesn't drop his weight onto my lap, maybe being slightly afraid he'll crush me, or hinder the circulation in my legs or something.
I lick into his mouth, and he lets me (the same way he lets me do a lot of things. I'm starting to get the message.), and my other hand at his hip trails a dangerous path around to the frankly amazing curve of his ass, only accentuated by the tight slacks he's wearing, and I squeeze.
Zayne makes a small sound in the back of his throat, and jolts a little in my lap, but it doesn't seem like he's trying to get away as our foreheads press together and our hot breath mingles. "Zayne..." I say, and trace my finger down the seam of the back of his pants, drawing a line to where I can likely assume my prize would be, and he stiffens in my arms, brows furrowing slightly. I'm not sure if it's from confusion or discomfort, so I stop there, though I really want to push harder into the unyielding fabric.
"I really want to fuck you."
He blinks, and the flush already on his cheeks from our heavy makeout session darkens even further. From this angle, so close to him, I can physically see his pupils grow in size, blowing out the molten gold and green in his eyes.
"... You what?" His voice is still low, and rough, though surprised. And then, after another long moment of us looking into each others eyes, he seems to fully realize what exactly it is I'm asking, as I let go of his tie and grab his other cheek with that same hand, using my grip on the plush pillow of his ass to pull him downwards and finally, more fully onto my lap.
"You're serious." Zayne says, almost in disbelief, the chuckle present in the words themselves.
So... He definitely doesn't hate the idea.
--
But of course, because he's Zayne, he spends a few weeks doing research. Purely academic, he tells me, just so he knows what he's getting into and how to be prepared. Because he's Zayne, and he'll never deny me anything. Maybe he'll hate it, he doesn't know yet, but he will, always, without fail, indulge me at least once.
Another reason I'm starting to get suspicious is that when we are in bed, so far, he's really only made an effort to cater to my own needs, instead of his own. The sex is great, yes, and having a boyfriend who gets on his knees for me multiple times a week without ever once being asked too? Phenomenal.
And clearly, he loves eating me out, fingering me, judging by the way the act seems to wreck him almost as much as it wrecks me (the first time he did it, I'm almost certain he came in his pants, because afterwards he insisted he was fine, that he didn't need anything from me, and then made a hasty retreat to the bathroom. When he returned, he said it was because he wanted to clean me up).
I'm not an idiot. Zayne is a powerful man, who bears a lot of responsibility on his shoulders, and he considers me to be one of them, most of the time. At least in bed, well... Maybe he can let me take care of him instead. Because I want to. He is very good at following orders, after all(I've noticed on more than one occasion). And I have been wondering more and more often... Just how far this tendency of his goes.
--
"How do you want to do this? On your back, or all fours?" I tilt my head slightly at him, pulling away from a sloppy kiss that has his lips shining with our shared spit. Zayne's ears are pink. He opens his mouth, but seems to have no immediate answer. "Or do you want me to bend you over the bed? ... Or do you want me to pick?"
"You choose. You're the one who wants this so badly." He tries to keep up his bravado, but at my final suggestion, I feel him twitch beneath me, though he's still dressed from the waist down. I'm the one who's more naked right now, having lost my shirt and shorts some while ago, not long after he closed the door behind him. He barely had enough time to toe off his shoes and set his bag down before I was crowding him against the wall, determined to make sure tonight went a very certain way.
And now, with him shirtless, blushing, laying back in the bed and letting me touch him all over... I think I might get my way tonight. I just need to be careful... I don't want to scare him off of being this vulnerable for me.
"Well," I begin, my voice light and teasing as I let my lips turn their attention to his throat and chest, kissing his Adams apple and collarbone, deliberately taking my time down to his tiny, pink nipples, while my fingers work at his belt and pants, sliding down his legs and discarding them somewhere on the floor, "I mean if I could really choose... We'd be doing this in your office and I'd have you over the desk. And you'd still have your lab coat on."
Zayne scoffs, "That one may have to remain in your fantasies, I fear. I do have a reputation to uphold." But I feel his cock twitching again, twice this time, belying the fact that he finds that thought arousing as well, though he's doing his best to scold me, despite the position he's allowing himself to be forced into.
"Boo," I murmur, and bite his nipple softly. In return, I'm rewarded with one of his soft little whimpers, and he'd scowl at that too, if I said it to him. "On your back, then. I want to see your pretty face while I fuck you. Surely you understand the appeal?"
Zayne's eyes glimmer with mirth, and I get another sound of amusement from him, though he says nothing else, giving me his consent as I feel him fully relax beneath me, and the fingers he has tangled in my hair move down to my thigh, and then knee, urging it upwards so he can spread his legs for me while I suck bruises into his chest.
"Ready?" I ask, raising my head to meet his eyes, now dark with desire, half lidded, his bangs hanging almost entirely over one of them. He nods, and once I've managed to lube up my fingers, with the bottle prepared (in advance, of course) nearby, I raise one of his legs at the knee, bending it upwards as I reach down between them, bypassing his cock to slick up his entrance. Zayne jolts at the sensation, and I haven't even pushed in yet, only pressed against the pink pucker, spreading the wetness on my fingers around it.
"Have you tried anything on your own?" His cock, I notice, is already half hard against his stomach, pretty and pink and perfect.
"No... Other than... Well, I purchased an enema bulb, but that wasn't..." Zayne attempts to explain, and I begin a slow and gentle push into him with my index finger, and his brows furrow at the sensation. "Given how excited you were, I assumed you would..." He sucks in a breath, and his eyes close, "would want the pleasure."
"You're right." I confirm, and rub my other hand across his thigh, where I'm holding it, "Stop talking though. If we're ever going to get anywhere, you need to relax." Zayne is clearly tense, along almost every line of his body, and I try to distract him with gentle touches, along his hips and ribs. "Breathe, honey... Just breathe.... Relax." I murmur to him, and he makes a clear attempt to obey, though the breath he takes shudders on the way in and out.
"Relax..." I press a bit deeper, and feel his hole clench around my finger, trying to push me out, and so I stay right there until his walls ease up. I wipe the furrow from his brow, and he finally meets my gaze again, his expression clearly unsure.
"Remember, like I said, if you hate this, we never have to do it again." Finally, I get my finger all the way inside, and he's so tight around me just from this, I'm suddenly unsure how far we'll be able to get tonight.
"How does it feel?"
Zayne is clearly trying to relax his body, sinking further into the mattress, but his ass is not a muscle he's used to paying conscious attention to, and so he's clearly finding it difficult, though I do feel him start to relax more fully after some time, as I just wiggle a bit inside.
"Strange..." He begins, and then gasps as apparently, I twist and crook my finger in just the right spot, and his previously flagging erection grows just a bit, right before my eyes. He looks down at me with a mixture of surprise and curiosity, mouth open as I crook my finger again, and he grunts, his warm hole fluttering. "That was..." Zayne tries, seemingly conflicted by the sensation.
"Your prostate? I would assume, based on your reaction." I smile, nodding down towards his cock that has begun to fill out. "Does it feel good?"
"... I don't know. I do know it's a pleasure point in the male body."
"Zayne, you are not about to give me an anatomy lesson right now." I move my finger, pull it out, drizzle more lube over it, and then press back in, starting a slow rhythm, hopefully to help him get more used to the sensation. For my troubles, I get another little sound out of him, this one sounding more pleasured than confused.
"You don't--" He grunts again, turns a little pinker, and rolls his head on the pillow while I fuck him on my finger. His cock I am ignoring on purpose, knowing that would only distract him. "You don't think my lectures are sexy?"
"Everything about you is sexy. Would it help you relax if you did give me a lecture on all the functions of the prostate while I get your ass ready for my dick?"
The slide of my fingers in and out of him becomes easier as he lays back and groans, so with another drizzle of lube, gently, I try to press my middle finger in as well. It's tight again, but he's becoming looser.
"Yes--" he gasps, and I openly chuckle. In return I get a lazy half smile out of him.
"Go ahead then, honey. Tell me what's so special about..." I twist both of my fingers the way I had before, to make him jump, rubbing them there when his hips buck and he gives me a whine, brows pulling up as his mouth drops open. "This."
"Fuck." Zayne rarely swears, so that's how I know he's starting to lose it, and goddamn if that word from his lips doesn't get me wet in more than a few seconds. I let up though, focusing my attention on scissoring him, stretching him, fucking gently in and out. I don't want to overwhelm him, not yet.
"The prostate..." He begins, the tensing in his abdomen easing up a bit as my focus shifts away from that particular bundle of nerves. "Is located below the bladder, and in front of the rectum." His voice has gone breathy, tight, but funnily enough, it does seem to be helping the tight warmth of his pretty hole relax while I work patiently. "It's primary function is to aid in--" another small whine when I add more lube, "to aid in semen production, and to help push it through the urethra."
Hilariously enough, I do find myself actually listening, and bite my lip to avoid distracting him while I add my ring finger. At this point, his cock is now fully hard, which, honestly... I didn't expect.
"Go on." I encourage him, looking away from the sight of my fingers inside of him to see his neck bared, eyes closed as he almost arches into the pillow below his head. An adorable sight, he's panting, flushed from his ears to his chest, and yet his expression is one of almost complete focus.
"The urethra runs directly through the prostate. There are... Nnh... There are five lobes."
Lobes? Zayne... I bite my lip harder. With three fingers now, he's much looser, and it's both so cute and so hilarious that his focus on anatomy right now actually is helping him open up to my intrusions. I can feel it happening.
"There's the... Anterior--" The rest of whatever he’s about to try and explain about the lobes of the prostate is cut off as I move, leaning up and over him to capture his lips in a kiss. The heel of my palm rests over, and presses against his balls. Zayne makes a little muffled sound and then sighs. I can feel him melt into me and I smile.
“As much as I’d love to hear the rest of that lecture… You feel like you’re ready?” Our noses brush, and he looks up at me, his eyes dark and filled with emotions that I have trouble naming… Vulnerability, maybe? But something else too. His breath is hot against my cheek as he exhales.
“Yes. I think so.”
“Feels good?”
“More than I expected.”
When I slip my fingers out of him, he grunts a little, the sound so disappointed that I chuckle as I climb off of the warmth of his body, and reach back for the dresser at the foot of the bed, slipping my legs through the harness and tightening it as fast as I can manage.
“Good. Don’t move. I want you just like this.” I say as I crawl between his legs, one hand full of the silicone cock now attached to me, and the other with a bottle of lube that I drizzle generously over the entire length. Zayne pulls up his knees as I approach him, spreading his legs a little wider to accommodate me. For a moment, the sight has me frozen. His hole gapes now, stretched from my fingers, and I watch it flutter under my gaze.
Zayne is blushing, hooking his hands behind his thighs, and no doubt shy about the way he’s presenting himself like this to me. Heat rocks through me, and I know I’m slick between my thighs. “Fuck, Zayne.” I breathe, and his blush grows brighter right before my eyes.
“Yes, I believe that’s the idea.” He quips anyway, and we both share a smile, his lips quirking while I try to hold back a giggle.
While I still have his eyes on my face, I reach my hand down, beneath the leather of the harness I’m wearing, and collect my own wetness on my fingers. We both look down at the same time when I press them back into his pink hole, and I feel him clench down on me, his cock twitching several times, growing harder than it’s been all night in a matter of seconds.
“You…” He whines.
He’d never admit that’s what it was, but I become determined almost instantly to force him to make that sound again. I pour more lube over the space between his thighs, retracting my fingers to smooth some of it up and down his hard length and his balls, and then gather the excess in my cupped hand and push into him once more, only enough to ensure he’s good and wet for me before I settle more fully against him. I grip the silicone dildo in my hand, and press the blunt tip against him. It’s honestly not very big, or thick. I didn’t want to overwhelm him the first time we tried this… And it seems like that was the right choice, because there’s little resistance as the head pops inside.
I rock my hips, gentle, and study his face. He’s propped up on his elbows, watching the sight of a cock entering him for the first time, and he looks… Curious, almost. Confused, but also turned on, if his blown out pupils have anything to do with it.
“Okay? Tell me if you need me to slow down.”
Zayne nods, his focus unwavering as I push further. Again… There’s little resistance. Maybe I should have gotten a bigger one.
“Keep going.” He encourages me. With a snap of my hips, I’m flush against the bare skin of his ass, and with the sudden movement, his head goes back, and a long moan leaves his throat. I watch his adam’s apple work through the sound.
After that, I start to fuck him, rolling slowly against him, pulling almost all the way out before pushing back in, giving him the chance to get used to what must be an extremely foreign feeling to him.
It isn’t long before he’s panting, open mouthed, his brows pulling up and together as he falls back against the pillows. God, I can’t help but think how cute he looks like this… For once, he’s the one laying back and letting me fuck him into the mattress, and it’s not hard to see how much he’s enjoying it.
We’ve been together long enough for me to know how turned on he gets when I’m the one who takes more initiative. One evening, after he let himself into my apartment, shortly after we really started dating, I shoved him against the wall, kissed him until neither of us could breathe, and he came the moment I shoved my hand down his pants. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about– well, not this exactly – but something like this ever since. Seeing how easily he falls apart for me, and me alone, the great and powerful Dr. Zayne, just makes me want to take more and more. To push him further and further, but God–
One of my hands replaces his own at the back of his thigh, pushing it up further, and my other hand braces itself against his muscular chest while my thrusts grow faster, shallower, and the moment I hit that perfect angle, amidst the soft whimpers leaving him with every thrust, his expression contorts further. His stomach clenches, and he cries out, grabbing my wrist against his chest, almost like it’s a lifeline as his head turns into the pillows.
“Please– fuck–” Zayne manages, his voice high and thready while I pound into that sweet spot.
“Please what, love?” I ask, my own voice a little hoarse, punctuated with sharp breaths.
“I can’t– I’m– I’m close.” He gasps, while I punch out more soft moans from him. His cock bounces with every thrust, painting a thin line of precum across his abs.
I need no further instructions. I extricate my wrist from his grip, pushing his knee higher, until it’s almost against his chest. His other leg has long since fallen, his thigh quivering. I wrap my hand around his erection and jerk it hard and fast while I fuck into his body.
Zayne’s back arches into a perfect curve, and I swear the sight of it almost has me coming instead of him. I grind into him, doing my best to stimulate him from both sides, and I swear I can see a tear running down the side of his face and into the pillow.
“Go on.” I say, and he does. The sound he makes almost sounds like a sob, and peters off into a desperate whimper as he comes in my hand, and I can feel his ass tightening, trying to push me out while I continue to grind against his prostate. His cock throbs in my hand, and warm come splatters over his own chest, dribbles over my fist while I work him through it. His hips roll against my own, the movements uncoordinated and almost staccato, his long, pale neck on full display as his head goes back, and the arch in his spine becomes more pronounced. He trembles against me, gasping, and only once I see the tension in his limbs start to fade, do I stop.
In the aftermath, we’re both left panting. Zayne’s eyes don’t open again until I pull out of him. He whines at the loss, or maybe the discomfort, I can’t be sure which, and his hazy eyes find mine while his chest continues to heave, and his heart likely races.
There’s a soft smile on his lips as the harness comes off, the lube is put away, and I crawl to settle into his side. Our bodies stick together with the thin sheen of sweat covering us both.
I give him a second to catch his breath, and then look up at him. He’s staring at the ceiling like he’s just had a revelation. It’s kind of funny.
“So…” I start, almost singing the word, propping myself up to lean over him, “Are you gonna let me do that again, cause…”
When he looks at me, I’m very suddenly taken off guard by the molten gold in his eyes.
Zayne huffs a little laugh and shakes his head.
“Only if you get a towel to clean us up with. I’m not sure my legs are capable of supporting my weight at the moment.” It’s my turn to laugh. He really does look like he’s about to pass out, but he’s not so far gone as to let go of the chance to give me one of his famous Dr. Zayne scowling faces. I kiss the pout off of his lips, and jump up to go get a warm, wet towel.
“Is that Dr. Zayne speak for, ‘Wow, you totally just blew my brains out and gave me the best orgasm of my life’?” I lean over him as I return, and he pulls me down into another kiss, slower, and longer this time.
“Your translation skills need a bit of work to capture the true intent… But I suppose that one works just as well.” He chuckles against my lips.
“So are you going to finish telling me about all the lobes of the prostate? I was actually pretty invested. I mean, I definitely am now.”
“Not tonight. Just lay down, darling.”

Finding Prowls prementioned sketchbook (sketch datapad?) where he draws his human all tied up and sitting on his spike or drawings of his human getting tossed between the constructicons while handcuffed and gagged or drawings of him with his human tied around his spike with transfluid dripping on their face
You were only supposed to grab some files from his room and here you are finding out just how much of a dirty pervert Prowl is for you
I think prowl would really like inking. The sharp lineart and occasional loose sketchy drawings for fluidity and form. The answer you've been waiting for as finally accumulated into a horny sketchbook your partner and the SIC had supposedly drawn. Small wonder, you've been wondering why prowl's so attentive to you, especially with how he's veiwing your body at certain angles. (real time reference, lmao)
Maybe he'd concoct simulations with his battle computer. Interesting, totally innocuous simulations. Just to see how stretchy you are.
Fortunately, you didn't have much time to formulate a decision on how to respond to this as Prowl walks back into the office and, yeah, you can imagine where that went.
consider another scenario : prowl would definitely stash that sketchbook in the same places he’d keep his classified documents. probably in those safe with a heavily encrypted padlock, so I’m guessing it’s either the constructions or Jazz would be able to snoop in. the constructions being the usual pest to prowl’s aft, thumbing through his stuff to piss him off and Jazz — he’s a nosy thing.
Ever since he found out what prowl did in his past time, he’d been curious about the contents in the sketchbook. Everytime he’d ask about it, prowl would simply tuck it away into his subspace or not so discreetly jenga-slide in amongst a pile of other datapads.
Jazz wouldn’t be surprise when he found out. He’ll definitely be a little stunned at how lewd the drawings are, though. He knew prowl was a little skilled in hiding his fantasies but he wasn’t expecting prowl to be that freaky. He’d simply tuck the sketchbooks where Prowl's human would definitely find it.
as for the constructions, I imagined they would be very vocal about it. Andz extremely flattered? That prowl thought about them, while jacking it off to his human he had to visualize their interference? They'd definitely chain him and make him watch as they frag his human and i imagine he would, despite his expression would say so, like it very much.

Any advice on drawing McCoy? I’m not used to drawing ancient wrinkley bastards (affectionate) and it’s surprisingly tough v-v
FOR SURE lmao i made. a diagram. just a warning that i am going to be irritating and long winded because u just hit a topic i really like sorry lmao
so first off i did some traces just to show whats there vs redraws to show my interpretation
ive said this on other asks but again jsyk, tracing isnt bad!! its a tool. theres some stuff with intellectual property and whatnot but using tracing to study shapes and forms is a really valuable practice.
also just taking some time to learn facial structures and anatomy is super useful, reading what bones and muscles are where and how they interact with one another. taking this info and staring in the mirror and moving your face around and thinking about it. just really furthers understanding of how the face works. trying to sound normal about this but i love anatomy and motion and physics and whatever
anyways im going to go through all the numbered points so there's no confusion. 1. forehead lines - self explanatory. more prominent when brows are raised 2. crows feet - at the outer corners of the eyes, more prominent when smiling or squinting 3. nasolabial folds - the folds that go from the corners of the nose to the corners of the mouth. more prominent when the mouth is wide, like smiling 4. brow furrow - self explanatory, most prominent when brows are furrowed. mccoy tends to have two right next to his eyebrows, kirk has one in the middle. everyones face works different lmao 5. chin crease - caused by how the chin and lower lip interact. 6. nasojugal groove - start from the inner corners of the eye and can extent over the cheeks. everyone has these and idk why people dont like them i think theyre really cool!!!! but Society. i guess. :/ 7. eye bags - caused by the skin sagging beneath the eyes. mccoy isnt even that old in tos i think hes meant to be mid 40s by the end of the 5 year mission, hes just got really prominent eye bags lmao 8. idk what the name is for these, but when the mouth is wide and pushes the skin to the sides, these folds sometimes form outside of the nasolabial folds 9. philtrum - the groove above the upper lip. i dont usually draw this but mccoy's struck me as prominent enough that i usually draw it on him 10. masseter - the muscle that moves the jaw up and down. its a pretty rugged muscle and while i wouldnt say mccoy's is especially prominent, it kind of extends that nasojugal groove from certain angles/positions 11. orbicularis oris - mouth muscle, usually easier to see when lips are pursed or frowns are pulled. mccoy's is pretty prominent from 3/4ths or side, his mouth tends to protrude in profile 12. this isnt a muscle but more of a line defining the planes of the face, but since i drew it i felt i should explain lmao
a few points:
im an animator i tend to exaggerate and emphasize certain things so i usually make him more square.
i like to combine eyebags and crows feet for brevity/flow, same with nasojugal grooves, eyebags, and masseter lines. my approach is always subject to change based on pose, expression, reference image, etc.
i take out details that i deem redundant or cluttering and keep what details i need to make things feel Right
all this info is applicable to any character of any age, its just in how you apply it and facial proportions that willl change how old a character is perceived to be
there's a lot more with drawing a Character rather than an Actor, just because the features are there doesnt necessarily mean things will feel correct? its very much in the mannerisms and poses and expressions
i only went over my approach to his likeness but not really body type or posing or anything idk if u want that i could always try to answer that later haha
_______________
anyways all that info kind of exists nebulously in my brain while i draw its not like im sitting there thinking Must Draw. Nasolabial Fold...... i jsut do what feels right with the visual info i have. also i love specificity in faces.... i dont like to be a hater but when every character is drawn the same it pisses me off a little lmao. so
also dont take my word as The Only Way to do anything i just draw how i like to draw and no one should feel like these are things that Must be done to be a good artist or anything do whatever the hell u wanna do
#anyways my apologies that was. a lot#it will happen again if asked of me.#anon#ask#everyone has this stuff going on with their face and its really cool but capitalism and the beauty industry and whatnot#have been rotting peoples brains since the moment they came to be#the more u look at and appreciate how ur skin an muscles and bones interact with one another the more fine u are with your own face#trust me#because its really cool. like mechanically and stuff#idk if its like theraputic or something but maybe it is or maybe i think about it all way too much#how i draw#ive got some other similar things under that tag i think pertaining to merlin but still similar info

I am obsessed with the way in which you draw Dean. You have his features nailed to perfection - somehow your Dean looks even more Dean than Dean in the show, because you exaggerate everything that makes him HIM. It's truly breathtaking <3 Any advice on how to get those features so flawless?
This is so so nice, thank you so much 😭💕💕💕
Honestly Dean is like my go-to thing to draw basically, and has been for many years, like I have to try to refrain myself from just drawing Dean again sometimes. He's like probably half of how I've learned to draw at all. So there's definitely practice there.
That said, I did not immediately have much of answer to this. It's like, his face is just his perfect, beautiful face, and then I try to draw that. 😅
So I drew some Dean to figure out what it is I do, so thanks for the excuse to draw more Dean lol
Extensive answer under the cut
If you're drawing something realistic from reference, for Dean you kind of have two options, you can either get a screencap that's closer up so you can see details better, but the top of his head is cut off, or you can get one where you can see less details but his whole torso is in frame. It can be weirdly difficult to guess at where the top of his head is sometimes, and you don't need details to capture a likeness, I think it was Sargent that said that the shape of the head is actually the most important aspect in capturing a likeness, so it's something to keep in mind. On the other hand, if you want to look at his pretty eyelashes while you draw him, you might want something closer up. (An understandable impulse).
Another thing is just to look for a reference that you really like, contrasty light and shadow are also great to look for. It's difficult to create a great drawing without them, but also it will illustrate the structure of his head best too. Look for shadow shapes you want to draw. If a reference is too dark (as it often is, because it's supernatural), edit it so you can actually see what you're drawing lmao.
I took a bunch of random screencaps of 11x02-- as random as I could, normally I'd just take screencaps of what I already kind of like, but I tried to just get all of it so you can see what I'm not choosing. (also couldn't help taking some cas ones when the lighting was going really hard)
I love a profile, I love a 3/4 view, I love when his eyes are like half open. His face was kinda giving towards the end of this episode.
Hopefully you can see them well enough. The mass ideas are more important for picking at impactful reference, but ofc I'm also trying to avoid any where he's making a dumb face or it's blurry. Sometimes that's only evident when I open it bigger, but that's okay, we have a bunch to pick from.
a. This one is one I picked out because it's an interesting angle, and I'd definitely do a little study of it, but because the lighting is so soft, it probably wouldn't be super interesting.
b. I like this one, the face he's making is hilarious, and I like the rhythm of his hand, but if I were to draw it, I might draw a fourth finger, otherwise it might look strange. So keep that in mind too, if it looks odd in the reference, it will look odd in the drawing, so unless you're confident that you can effectively change it, pick a different reference or find a second reference to help you change it.
c. This lighting's more dynamic, and I like his expression.
d. Would be hard to pick between these. This one's 3/4 and has a nice eyelash shadow, and I love the shape of his eye when it's downturned.
e. Shoutout to the shape of Jensen's brow when he looks down gotta be one of my favorite genders. + subtle Rembrandt lighting. Lovely.
f. This one is so good. Overhead lighting getting a shadow from his ear in a sideview, defining the jaw in an interesting way. Great expression. It's a bit strange, the way he's looking to the side, so it might be hard to draw convincingly, but would be worth it if I could do it. The shadow from the hair defining the shape of the brow. The light on the cheek defining the slight eyebag. The reflected light under the eye, the light landing on the nose. Would probably change the hair a bit because it looks a bit odd at this angle in this lighting, and if drawn like this it would probably look at bit block-like.
g. More rembrandt lighting. Shoutout to the shadow that this upper lip casts on his lower lip. Shoutout to the shadow his lower lip casts on his chin. Shoutout to the line of light defining his neck. Shoutout to the shape of his brow and forehead.
h. The rhythms here are chefs kiss-- the shadow line diagonal from the corner of his hairline to the corner of his brow echoed by the shadow line diagonal of his cheekbone, then that second line following through to the line of light on his neck that curves the other way.
i. This one's kinda boring wrt lighting, but it's an interesting enough angle to do a study of.
I'm going with screencap c because it's gonna work well to effectively illustrate the basic structure of how I construct his features. It's not directly straight-on, so the form isn't lost, but it's straight enough on to properly show our proportions.
For supplies here, I'm just using a soft charcoal pencil, I just use the kinda cheap ones (currently Markart) cause I actually like them better than General's. And it's on smooth newsprint. I just get it in a big thing of 500 sheets. Not archival but it's a cheap thing that's incredibly enjoyable to draw on. Pink Papermate eraser and a kneaded eraser. The pen I use at one point for some reason is a red Pentel RSVP ballpoint I think, although I actually prefer a Bic.
1. So first thing I block in that main shape, in this case, his head and shoulders. I also have to draw in the hairline at the same time, cause I can't figure it out otherwise. He's got kind of pointy ears. The collar of his jacket often comes up pretty high on the back of his neck. He's got a distinctive hairline that I think can go a long way to showing it's Dean, it's worth taking note of. It swoops to our left, and then the corner (I guess?) of his hairline will line up with the corner/arch of his brow. And don't draw the hairline as an unbroken line, but several lines with some room to breathe. His shoulders are pretty straight and broad, but about three heads across which is pretty normal.
2. Next what I think about is the shape of the eyesockets and the line of the brow. This bit will go a ways for conveying Dean's expression, because he has a wide range from light and happy to horribly scowly that's in the brows. You don't have to define the exact line of the brow at this moment, blocking in the general line is fine just to have an idea of where it lands. You can go back later and refine it. I also find where the bottom lid lands. In my brain it makes a shape like what I've drawn. I might not draw it just like this, but even if I don't, this is the shape I'm thinking about. The line from the end of his eyebrow to his bottom lid is a fave, sometimes you can see it on him, especially at an angle, and it's real pretty.
3. Next I find where the bottom of his nose lands, it's about double the length of the eyesocket. And the line under his bottom lip, about halfway between his nose and the bottom of his chin. These measurements are pretty average measurements for a face. I didn't give myself enough room for his chin initially, so I moved it down to fix it. Also adjusted his face very slightly wider on the right side, cause it's looking a bit narrow.
4. I added some of our shadow shapes. This is where finding a reference with well-defined shadows will be very helpful. And I sketched in the clothes cause why not. The clothes don't have to be perfect, who cares, Dean's collar is not our point of interest lol. The shadow on the neck will probably be slightly curved because of the roundness of the neck. If it's not, you might want to make it curve slightly anyway just to help define the form. I blocked in where the eyes are.
eyes: For Jensen's lovely eyes, they have a specific shape that is so nice to draw, especially at certain and angles and with certain expressions. But basically the top lid is more angular and can be almost boxed off at the end, and the line from the corner of the eye to the lashes is an s-curve that's higher in the middle. Again, not unusual features in drawing a face, but such pretty examples. The shadow that his lower lid casts (or his makeup idk?) is often dark enough to look vaguely like eyeliner. Jensen's lower eyelids, an underrated part of Jensen. His eyebrows are thicker in the middle and sparser on the ends.
5. Next I found the corners of the lips. This is an important aspect in the way I draw mouths. Sometimes I just draw them with dots where the corners of the lips are, a curve where the lips part in the middle, a shadow under the bottom lip, and the curve of the cupid's bow. (This is seen below in 6) I think I also adjusted the bottom lip shadow here. Straight-on, the middle of his lips is slightly higher than the corners, but of course, this will change when not straight-on, depending on if we're looking up or down at his mouth. I also sketched in the nose shape. The ridge of his nose has a nice subtle bump, and then the ball of his nose is very slightly squared off I think, from a front-facing perspective, I feel like. And I drew in his slightly drawn brows. Just pay attention to the angles in your reference, because the expression, the perspective and the angle of the head can impact it. But of course generally, drawn down in the middle, furrowed = scowly; drawn up, unfurrowed = happy.
nose: I prefer drawing his nose in profile. And who wouldn't, look at it! The slight curve of the bridge and then the ball of the nose. I will exaggerate this a little sometimes, just because it's fun and I like it. I couldn't find a reference, but from below, you can see the shape of the bottom of his nose, it dips in the middle a bit more than average. Drawing the bottom of the nose is often a delicate balance between shadow and reflected light. I love keeping it light, save for the nostrils, but then the shadow under the nose can be important too. Sometimes it's just a stylistic choice. Note that there's a plane change between the side of the nose and the cheek. (I think I drew his nose too upturned here, but the general idea is still there)
6/mouth: In drawing the mouth, the top line of the upper lip looks more rectangular at the ends, increasingly so as it turns away from us, and much less so as it turns towards us. Of course, he has a full upper lip that you can shade as you like. I try to keep it distinct from the shadow of the line of the mouth, and a reflected light on the top lip can be good here too. For the bottom lip, it's always nice to give is some shine with a hard-edge highlight. For the cupid's bow, I try to leave a light between the upper lip and the shadow in the cupid's bow. For some reason I drew the shadow backwards here, but I think it looks fine.
7/ears: I started to shade it, and then I remembered that he has ears. There's a simplified way I draw ears that I like. It's not entirely accurate, because the two shadows at the top are actually usually connected, but I find it a bit distracting that way sometimes, so this is more subtle I guess. In profile, I don't really have a method of drawing it, I just draw whatever the reference gives me or bs it with a similar version of this, depending.
8/hair: My method for drawing his hair is 1) suffer 2) hope and pray. I like to leave a rim light-type deal between the contour/outliine of the hair and the rest of the hair, I feel like it helps define it a bit more. The direction of his hair, and thus the direction of my lines is something like this.
9. And then I more or less just shaded. When shading, it's always good to follow the direction of the plane, and I also alternatively like to shade in the direction that the light is falling to reinforce that gesture, but when I shade a face, I try to shade in the opposite direction of where wrinkles would go, if that makes sense, mostly up and down I guess. This is of course on a case by case basis, like a lot of times, I'll do the forehead horizontally anyway, but it's especially touchy around where the laugh lines of the mouth would be and the neck. And on soft plane changes (and softish hard plane changes), I often shade at a different angle to the main shadow. Shading direction can also delineate different areas of similar tones, like I did with the jacket and the side of the nose. I like to give Dean his eyelash shadow, because he deserves it. I also drew in the eyes, of course. I think I actually tend to shade them backwards, and the light would fall in the opposite direction, so when lit from the right, the right side would be darker, but I just don't draw it that way idk maybe I should.
And there he is, that's our guy!
Normally when I'm drawing, I'm definitely a bit more all over the place, and don't necessarily do things in perfect order. And it's good to move around. I'm probably not going to be shading things before noting where all the features are going to land, but I often am shading something before I've drawn everything. Or end up drawing one eye and then maybe do part of the other and then move to do part of the nose and then sketch in an ear and then maybe notice something's off somewhere and adjust that, etc. Just go with it, have fun, he's got a fun face to draw! 💗

─Headcanons─
main 4 + tolkien older ver.
hc; random headcanons
cw; none
note; I thought abt this allll day, might make another one as well
Kyle got a buzz cut once because he lost a bet to Cartman (he didn't want to suck his bawls so the alternative was that), you were mortified
For a date you and Stan painted your nails black and listened to Foo Fighters
Cartman draws weird things in his journal he's had for years about you and him
Eric sends Kyle cursed Ed Sheeran pictures to him saying "this you?"
You and Kenny look through his playboy magazine, admiring the women together.
"She's hot."
"Fr."
Sometimes Kyle's green ass eyes scare the shit out of you when you guys are sleeping together. It's like he's taking your soul with those things.
"Hey babe how'd you slee-"
"Close your eyes right now 😦"
Cartman likes to steal your snacks, so now you hid them.
Mr kitty likes to snuggle with you and Eric if you guys are sitting with each other.
Same if you guys are in bed, sleeping.
Kyle is so majestic when the sun hits his face at JUST the right angle, complimentng his colored eyes just right.
You try with all your might not to take a picture of his pretty face, he hates them.
You and Kyle have matching bracelets, he wears them alllll the time
Even during his basketball games, if he can
Tolkien and you match clothes on random days of the week at school
Holding his arm as you guys walk in the hallways (everyone is so annoyed)
Stan and you match different type of hair colors if it's not hair then it's hats or something (I gave up I'm sorry ☠️)
Kenny and you have matching rings
For Cartman?? Idk I don't see him liking that corny shi lmao
Stan passes notes to you in class,, Kyle always is the message deliverer since he's in the middle.. he is not fond of that.
"Hey Kyle pass this down to Y/n."
"No"
"Oh come on, please?"
"I hate the both of you." takes the note.
Once you and Kyle were waiting for the bus with the others listening to his playlist then all of a sudden Taylor swift starts playing; blank space.
You looked up at him about to explode with laughter while his face was red as fuck.
When your cold you like to squeeze underneath Kenny's hoodie to hug him, he embraces you with a giggle. Now the both of you are cozy n warm
Kyle romanticizes having kids with you, the warmy and loving feeling it brings him is crazyy.
"I wanna have kids when we get older and are financially stable."
"let's graduate first babe.."
You left a kiss mark on Stan's guitar once ever since you did that he has not removed it

[I.D. Four panel comic using Mikey and Draxum from ROTTMNT. Mikey is drawn with hair of a 4b or 4c texture in thick twists. In the first panel, Mikey's hands are shown, cupped around a small baby turtle with markings somewhat like his own. Below that is a drawing of Mikey from the shoulders up, his eyes sparkling as he smiles excitedly. He has locs that are a little less than chin length. Above him is written "Just made a baby with magic accidentally." The next panel shows Mikey from the thighs up and Draxum behind him. Mikey looks over his shoulder and says happily "Draxum, look! I made a baby!!" He holds the baby in one hand and points at it with the other. Draxum holds his hands up in consternation and yells "I was gone for ten minutes how the f did you make a baby" in all caps. In the third panel Mikey is shown from closer, about waist up. He smiles widely at the baby in his palm, the other hand held up near his face, and exclaims "I'm gonna name you Vermillion, after your spots!" Behind him Draxum frowns and says "That's a shade of red tho???" In the last panel, Mikey turns to Draxum, cupping the baby in his hands once more, and says "Huh? No, I'm pretty sure it's yellow." Draxum glares down at him and retorts "It's not yellow". End I.D.]
cringe is dead and i've killed it myself (made another ninja turtle fankid lmao)
Anyway this is Vermillion, Beatrice Helena's younger cousin by like 7-8 years or so, idk. If Donnie gets an accidental science baby then Mikey gets an accidental magic baby, it's only fair.
[I.D. Two digital drawings of Vermillion. The first image is three uncolored drawings of his head from different angles; a right three quarter, a left three quarter, and frontal. In each of them, his right eye is mostly shut, and he has a mostly circular spot to the outer lower corner of it. Vermillion's right profile shows that the right side of his face is more pronounced and angular than typical for a baby's. The left profile shows him crying, both eyes pinched shut. His right cheek is somewhat concave. The frontal view shows him smiling happily. His facial structure is uneven, with the right side of his face sunken in. In the second image, Vermillion is drawn in full color, looking very similar to Mikey in canon. He sits up, happily sucking on a finger. He has yellow patches on his right shoulder, right ankle, left bicep, and left knee, as well as the corner of his right eye. Towards the bottom third of his shell is a sharp inward dent. His right eye is currently open, showing a clear conformer that serves to hold the eye socket's shape. End I.D.]
I'm still working out his exact face shape and how to draw it consistently, but the current plan is that he has anophthalmia (born without his right eye) and either hemifacial microsomia or Goldenhar Syndrome. I gotta do more research before I actually decide.

✏️ + drawing hands?
Thx Gramma! :DD
/nf
Hands are really tricky, and the problem is I LOVE drawing them, so it comes natural to me, but I'll try my best to explain!
Draw an inverted trapezoid with a round upper side. That is very important to get the length of the fingers.;
Add an inverted triangle on one side of the trapezoid. Depending on the side, you can draw left or right hand!;
BALLS! Following the shape of the upper half, draw an arc and place 5 little circles on it. One MUST be on the triangle, two must be close to the edges of the trapezoid, and the other two must be at the same distance (more or less) from the two circles at the sides. Then, draw another arc above the first one but covering only the 4 circles on the trapezoid;
Add lines! The circles are the joints, so you need to 2 "curve" the lines there (or you can go straight if you want to draw a full hand signing "stop"). The tips of the fingers are round, usually, I make them sharper for females and rounder for males, but you can mix things around!
PERSPECTIVE! By putting in perspective trapezoid and triangle, you can draw any type of hand in any position, basically!
TIP: I suggest copying or tracing hands from photos to help your hand muscles and brain get used to and confident with the movements needed to draw hands. If a pose is too difficult, I usually snap a photo of my hand in the pose I want and copy it (or trace it if I get too frustrated, lmao).
For KND hands!
No Trapezoid here, we square up like kids!
Draw a square with VEEERY soft angles, and add circles on the top and side for the fingers. Side one is shorter, other ones follow an arc above them (like the normal hand)
Wave is the way! Before drawing, exercise drawing waves, because that's the key! They must be larger on top and smaller on the bottom side;
Or, you can draw 3 circles between the main 4 fingers on top of the square and a little triangle between the thumb and the index finger;
Connect everything following the lines! Remember the waves: bigger on the tip, smaller on the bottom! No straight line, curve everything! Oh, also wrists are just like... sticks, lmao, best feature of the show!
I think that's all!
Remember, if a pose is too hard, google that stuff and copy or trace it to exercise and get used to it!

Could you please create some cute headcanons for Celine, Hayden, Ryis, and Juniper with an s/o who’s an artist. Possibly they have a sketchbook and have sketches or drawings of them?
Sure thing!🌺
Celine🌼
Celine thinks you're so cool
I think that she wouldn't be the greatest at drawing, unless what she was drawing was landscapes or various crops/flowers
so because of that she really admires how much you pay attention to other subjects and can draw them so well
You two would frequently go on picnic dates and sketch landscapes together 💗
You'd both be laughing and talking about events in the town all the while scribbling and popping little cubes of cheese or bread into your mouths
Until you flip your sketchbook and show her a very well done portrait of herself
She explodes (with blush dw)
She's honestly so touched that she starts to tear up and throws herself onto you for a massive bear hug
If you like watercolor painting she definitely makes her own dyes from flowers and she will be gifting them to you
Celine is super supportive and appreciative of her partner so you know that she has your back on anything, including your artistic endeavors 💕
Hayden🐔
I don't think Hayden possesses an artistic bone in his body🥲
At least in terms of drawing (he's def the type to draw stick figures and stick-animals even when giving his best effort)
The best thing Hayden can draw is a little crude drawing of his most prized possession (second to you of course), Henrietta
HOWEVER this will not stop him from drawing or doing other artistic things with you!
Like I bet he's decent at whittling away at wood and giving you little wood-carven trinkets
One day when you were at his ranch watching him herd his animals you whipped out your sketchbook to do figure studies
and lets be honest Hayden has a great figure to study
You got so entranced with adding details to your framework that you didn't hear him sneak up behind you like 😀
"Woah, is that really me? You chalk me up to be a lot more handsome than I actually am!"
He secretly really loves that you pay so much attention to details that even he hadn't noticed he had
He loves them so much that he offers to model for you (with Henrietta ofc)
Ryis🌲
Ryis is a fellow artist, too!
Mainly in sketching concept work for furniture but I can easily see him enjoying drawing other subjects as well, especially to relax and not think of work
Especially after the two of you started dating, he began to dabble in taking his art more seriously
He really admires your skills and it motivates him to get better too
Whenever you're together and you're drawing, he def watches your face
He can't help himself! Your face getting all screwed up with concentration is adorable to him
There have been times where you leave your sketchbook out in the open of the workshop and he'll take a peak at it
He knows that its a breach of privacy but he hoped you wouldn't mind since you both are close and trust one another
You sketch a variety of different things, like landscapes and portraits of your animals
But he pauses when he flips to a page that consists entirely of portraits of himself
His face heats up while pursuing them, he finds this super romantic and intimate
Until Landen teleports to his side and asks what he's looking at and he jumps five feet up into the air, slamming your sketchbook shut
He's extra flustered and lovey with you for the next few days after that happened and you'll have no idea why
Juniper♨️
Honestly, Juniper really dgaf LMAO
At first at least
Juniper can be vain and unable to see things from different angles at times but after you both started a romantic relationship you opened a lot of things up to her
She likened your passions and focus in drawing to her potion crafting
At first it started with her trying to convince you to sell your art or doing an art show in town (her business-minded self activated)
But after you explained to her that you do this for yourself she backed off
One day you both were chilling in the lobby on a rainy day and she looks over to you curled up with your sketchbook on the couch that she says out of nowhere:
"Dear, what could you possibly be drawing that's more interesting and hotter than me?"
She's not jealous of you drawing Dozy that's ridiculous what are you talking about
She now poses for you to do figure studies on a regular basis
Juniper, while she enjoys the loving banter between the two of you, these quiet moments became something she looks forward to and treasures
The fun thing with these is that we still know so little about the bachelors and bachelorettes! I want to see what hcs the community comes up with and which ones are actually canon💗

I have a thought and I’d like to share (if you don’t mind) - Bakugo with a pro hero partner. Like I feel as though all I ever see is civilian!reader or assistant!reader and that’s great, but I need me a girl boss who kicks ass and Bakugo’s head over heels, like I imagine this person to be so adored and loved as well - like the ideal “celebrity” so kind and sweet, well-spoken, but Villains hear her name they go runnin’ - everyone’s low-key got crushes on her, Katsuki’s wondering what the hell he did to rizz her up and because they’re both public figures, in spite of how naturally private he is, I think he’d feel more comfortable off-handedly making comments about her every now and then, showing up to events together.
Idk it’s just in my head
hello dear !! it's so interesting you bring this up, bc i feel like i actually have a lot of thoughts on this and i guess i've never mentioned them LOL
i think bakugou could have such a flourishing relationship with another pro hero.
like, i really do. i think that it's hard for him to meet people outside of work LOL so meeting/working with another pro hero is, i think, a very natural way to come together. i also think that bakugou would really appreciate reader's hard work ! their passion ! their motivation ! i think that would genuinely be such a draw for him ??? i absolutely think a pro hero relationship would really work out for him, and i have one pro hero reader wip and the dynamic between them is my favorite i think i've ever written, bc they just fit so well.
but i will say that this is not typically a reader i picture for him ?? as my go-to ?? it's always assistant reader aikhfaha LMAO and. i really don't think i have a good explanation why, but. something like—i like to imagine bakugou having a break from it all, and i just don't think he'd get that with a pro hero partner ??
idk !! like, if one of you isn't on patrol, the other probably is, like 90% of the time, and i imagine it's hard to get just free time to be together, bc you both would probably be so busy !! and if you were working together at the same agency or partnering up at random points, i feel like it would be so hard to come home from work and not. bring it with you 🥺 as a pro hero i feel like that's impossible, and were the two of you both bearing the weight of that responsibility, i feel like it would be hard to have a relationship outside of that ?? if that makes sense ?? and i also personally believe that bakugou has had too much pro hero at the young age of SEVENTEEN, so i like to imagine a life for him where he can put it all away, even for a little bit 🥺
you could definitely argue that having an assistant reader would be similar, bc you would still be involved in the hero world, but. idk. i think being there on the sidelines and being in it are different, and i like to imagine bakugou coming home from a long shift and getting to hear about what you did at your regular job or what you did in the garden, where you went shopping, etc 🥺 just. give him some normalcy 🥺
but that's just my personal preference !! though i definitely enjoy the pro hero reader angle !! please katsuki wondering what the hell he did to rizz you up LMAOOO tbh, i think if we ever were fed some kind of love story for bakugou in canon, they would give him a badass pro hero partner, bc i really think he would have a lot of respect for someone that can handle it, not to mention does it well. like. i think he definitely has the loserboy hots for them LOL
#✿ ask willow#i thought about this all day and i still don't think i got my thoughts in order LOL#hopefully this made any sense akhfah#ty for bringing it up though hehehe 🩷✨😊

A/N: honestly didnt think I would come up with another astv fic so quick after the first one lmao but I got inspired for this scenario based on the overall consensus struggle artists are having drawing Miguel (me included asdfhjk). I was stuck between doing a drabble or a list of headcanons and doing some other characters as well. But I decided to keep it simple for now, but if you guys would like to see headcanons of the other characters reacting to you drawing them, feel free to let me know and tell me about any other ideas you guys may have!
Trigger Warning: none

Miguel O'Hara x Reader - Drawing Practice
Being a part of the Spider Society definitely had it’s perks and setbacks.
Yeah, it can be stressful, exhausting, and anxiety inducing. Honestly, that just came with being a Spider-person in general.
On the plus side, it was nice to be a part of something so extraordinary. Just when you started to feel lonely, you were soon thrusted into this whole other universe of other walks of life that were like you.
Which easily kept you inspired for your art. You had a plethora of finished sketchbooks, scrapbooks of your drawings you did on notepads, napkins, and other materials.
When you weren’t on missions in your own universe or serving as backup for an anomaly mishap, you were likely swinging around the headquarters looking for your next subject. (Not to mention there was no angle quite like the one you could get hanging upside down…)
During one of the more calmer days, you were sifting through your latest sketchbook. It was almost full. Mostly consisting of whatever caught your eyes, some new environments from different universes, and all sorts of different Spider personas.
Well, most of them anyway. There was still probably many more you have yet to see…or one in particular you see almost every day.
Spiderman 2099 a.k.a. Miguel O’Hara a.k.a. The guy that founded and ran this whole thing. He’s also Mr. Tall, Dark, and Intimidating…and handsome…but mostly intimidating.
You rarely spoke to him outside of certain missions where he requested you for back-up or for any sort of follow-up meeting.
You definitely can't forget his face though…perhaps you could draw from memory? Maybe start from his mask and go from there? It can't be too hard. It's not like he's ever gonna see it anyway, and besides how are you going to draw everyone else but him?
You got comfortable at a nearby corner seat in the food court area. You took a deep breath and started sketching.
The more you sketched the more all the hustle and bustle started to fade away. It was you and the sketchpad. You could almost hear the pencil scrape the paper and the thumps whenever you had to erase something with your eraser.
Some significant time had gone by, and a certain leader was looking for you. Yet you didn't have the slightest clue.
Miguel cleared his throat to get your attention properly and you almost jumped to the ceiling.
"Oh, uh…hi, Miguel…w-what's up?" You really wanted to ask how long he was there. And damn your hyperfocus for interfering with your spidey senses.
You clutched the pad to your chest, trying to keep him from seeing what you were doing. You hoped he never even noticed.
"I wanted to ask you about this new mission. If you wouldn't mind following me so we can discuss it in private?"
"Uhh. Yeah. Okay, sure." You got up from your seat, still clutching your sketchbook like a lifeline in treacherous waters.
As you followed behind him, you couldn't help but feel conflicted.
On one hand you didn't want him to see and on the other you kinda wanted to know what he thought about them. Would he appreciate them? Would he think it was weird? It's not like it was just him, you drew all the Spiders…
"I like your drawings, by the way." He commented over his shoulder as you got closer to his desk.
"Oh. Uh..uh thanks…"
"Gotta admit, I've never had anyone draw me before…" Miguel mentioned.
"That was my first attempt, you're the only Spider I haven't drawn yet."
"Felt obligated to add me in with the others?"
Before you could stop yourself, you said. "More like saving the best for last…"
You both stopped simultaneously in your trek. Both of you were shocked at the sentiment.
Miguel was far from perfect, despite how hard he tried to be perfect and in control. Despite his flaws and his cold aura. You admired his determination and dedication (even if it bit him more often than helped him.)
He turned to face you, as if expecting you to take it back or say it was a joke.
"Really?"
You nodded.
You couldn't help the soft swell in your chest when you saw the faintest hint of a smile grow to the side of his lips.
You tried to train your eyes and brain to take a mental photo for later.
You two started walking again in comfortable silence, until Miguel's voice perked up.
"Although. I don't think I have that many wrinkles." He quipped.
You quirked your eyebrow, questioningly. "With your stress?"
Miguel nodded in a huff. "Fair enough. You should probably add more."
You tried to refrain from giggling as he tried to refrain from smiling any wider.
