if i suddenly become a thousand times more annoying on here it's because i'm trying *really* hard to spend less time on twitter because iwtvtwt is nothing but the same stolen gifs being reposted over and over again without credit in between the same mind-numbingly dull discourse recycling itself with the phases of the moon and it's becoming incredibly grating to witness lol

I finally looked at people's neocities (and old personal websites in generaly) and like... this is the most fun I've had online in years.
#I always heard 'neocities is like geocities for modern day'#but I didn't believe them asldkfjsdf I assumed ''yeah sure'' but... tis true...#a lot of them aren't 1000% exact in capturing the feel of the old internet#which I suspect maybe they're younger users and so have this idealized version in their head maybe#which isn't bad bc they're usually pretty to look at anyway#but some of them... look pretty ... old internet LMAO#anyway maybe this is where I migrate to (save tumblr ofc) bc I just dont give a fuck about twitter or tiktok or anywhere else#also god... this has really made me realize how BORRRINGGG websites look now#like jesus christ; things can be accessible and NOT look like that shot of squidward in the void!
