“I’m being professional.”
“You’re being cold!”
“Well, what else should I be! This is work! I’m putting my feelings aside, why can’t you!”
“Because YOU dumped me and even though I probably shouldn’t, I’m still in love with you!”
That last one hit Tommy like a bucket of ice cold water. By the wide-eyed look on Buck’s face, it seems like it took him by surprise as well. They were so close, yelling into each other’s faces only moments ago, now they were eerily silent, and forebodingly still. Tension started to seep out like a small leak at first, eyes dropping to lips, gloved hands reaching absentmindedly for the lapel of turnouts, then all at once, like a dam breaking.
They don’t know who moved first, sooty faces meeting hard, held by sooty hands. Buck kissed like fire, licking flames along Tommy own tongue, biting and pulling, two bodies awash in the flood. Buck pushed Tommy against the truck while Tommy cradled his face. They pulled apart only for a second, only to confirm in each other’s eyes that this was real, before they started kissing again. Hands slipped into open turnout coats, feeling hard muscle almost forgotten, bodies unknown but familiar, as if for the first time.
And just like that, after months of loneliness, Evan and Tommy were feeling each other’s heat again, their hard edges and grit and affection, hidden away between two fire trucks after a 3-alarm fire.
#this is how BuckTommy can still win#fully putting on my clown makeup after seeing those bts of the 217 trucks#Tommy will be on a call with the 118 and it will be hard and Buck will act out and Tommy will call him out#and they’ll go somewhere private to yell at each other#and then one of them will confess to being miserable without the other#and the other will realize they are too#and then they’ll make out passionately in full turnouts Bathena style between fire trucks#bucktommy#yes#mim rambles

this post is only for the select few but sometimes i think about bucktommy going to a gay club and buck dancing and making out with other guys while tommy watches them and he's totally absolutely completely turned on by the fact that he's being watched while tommy's turned on by the knowledge that at the end of the night - at the end of every night - he's the one who buck will go home with anyway
#this is how buck exploring his sexuality with other guys can still win#can someone who's better at writing smut than me write this for me pls#bucktommy#911#mimi.txt

Tommy going out on his first post-Buck date - coffee because he wasn't feeling committal - and when the guy asks him what his drink is Tommy says "surprise me"
It's a perfect drink, exactly the kind of thing Tommy prefers, and he cuts the date short twenty minutes later because he can't stop thinking about how disappointed he felt that this guy hadn't gotten his coffee order so horribly wrong that it was bordering on insulting.

“You know what I’m grateful for?” Buck asked in a hushed tone. The light in the room was low and the humming of of hospital machinery surrounded them.
“What’s that sweetheart?” Tommy’s vocie was as equally as hushed and gentle. He was slowly pacing around the room, a small bundle tucked tightly in his arms. His eyes had been fixed on their son, Henry, for hours now - scared that if he looked away, he would no longer exist.
Buck made his way across the room towards his husband and son. He pressed one hand on the small of Tommy’s back and the other came to cup Henry’s head.
“That you decided to fight to be my last.”

The only people thinking that Bucktommy's storyline is ruining the show are the B*ddie fanatics and the homophobic fans who are disappointed that Buck came out as queer. However, the rest of the viewers don't think that way at all. Even if you put aside the BT fandom, the general audiences still enjoy the show. The improved viewership ratings reflect that.
BoBs don't want Buck to end up with the first ever man he has dated (this only bc said man isn't Eddie); they believe he needs to 'explore' his bisexuality more. The GA, on the other hand, is happy to see that Buck is finally settling into a stable, healthy relationship with a caring partner who respects him and reciprocates his feelings equally. Apart from many queer fans who are celebrating this crucial LGBTQ+ representation, most of the GA probably doesn't even care that Buck is with a man and the queerness of it all. They just like seeing a beloved character finally finding true love, after seasons of stumbling through a series of failed relationships.
Buck and Tommy's love story not only sustained the existing viewership, but boosted it further by drawing in plenty more new viewers to the show. This is apparent through the impressive ratings, and the fact that the show's renewal for season 8 was confirmed not long after 'Buck, Bothered and Bewildered' aired.
Another thing that BoBs don't realise is that the GA also comprises casual watchers and people who might not care about Buck or Eddie at all. The show has an Oscar & Emmy-winning actress among its main cast - Angela Bassett. It also has another beloved veteran actor like Peter Krause. There are people who are watching this show for them. There are people who may be far more invested in Bobby-Athena, Maddie-Chimney, or the Hen-Karen storylines than whatever the hell's going on with Buck or Eddie. Or there may be audiences who appreciate the platonic friendship between Buck-Eddie the same way they like Hen-Chimney or Hen-Athena with zero expectation of it turning romantic.
The only reason why it seems that B*ddie is the most popular thing about 9-1-1 is that their fandom is a loud and hyperactive majority across social media. Other fandom stans and GA/casual viewers may not be as dominant on socials, but they exist in a lot higher numbers than BoBs can ever imagine. BoBs overestimate their clout.
Bucktommies obviously love Tommy Kinard with their whole hearts, adore how good he is with Buck, and so would love for them to be endgame. But BoBs don't realise that even the audiences that are not hugely invested in Tevan as us BTs, are not losing sleep over the fact that Buck is with Tommy and not Eddie. They watch the show for other characters and storylines and all the drama and action. Buck's love life doesn't hamper their enjoyment of the show; they may be neutral to it. Even if not all of them maybe loving Tommy, doesn't mean they hate him either.
Again, the reason why Buck or Eddie's past relationships with their female LIs weren't popular even among the GA the way Madney, Henren, or Bathena are, is not because they wanted Buck and Eddie to end up together. I believe it's because those romantic storylines were half-baked or poorly-written, not making the casual viewer care enough. If Buck ever had a female LI with as much potential as Tommy, or if Eddie could treat a partner decently, those hypothetical ships could become popular too. People enjoy Bucktommy because of how beautiful their love story is overall, not simply because it's a 'queer' love story. Their storyline has the potential to be long-term, and Tommy being well-integrated with the rest of the characters solidifies the possibility of him and Buck going a long way.
What excuse would the BoBs who want Buck to experiment have had if Buck hadn't come out last season and Tommy were a woman? What if that storyline would still show a positive romantic development for Buck where the new female LI put in an equal amount of effort into the relationship, like Tommy has? Yes, a lot of the initial hype around Bucktommy was because it's a queer love story, but even if you replaced Tommy with a female character and made her care about Buck the same way that Tommy does, or have Buck be as smitten with her as he is with Tommy, many audiences would still dig that.
The same-sex aspect of it is just icing on the cake; the cake would still have been delicious if baked well (but the icing is significant for queer fans who crave good representation on TV.) But integrating Buck's bisexuality arc into a thriving relationship with a pre-established character is a welcome development for queer fans and GA alike. The viewership stats prove that Bucktommy is definitely not damaging the show, but contributing to making it more successful if anything.
So the BoBs need to know that all their constant whining, cyberbullying and Tommy/LFJR slander is not going to scare ABC or the showrunner & writing staff into giving them what they want. B*ddie fanatics are too tiny a portion of this gigantic equation (that exists far beyond the confines of social media), and losing them is not going to affect the network or the people making the show.
Even in the unfortunate scenario that Bucktommy doesn't last, most of the GA/casual viewers will still not stop watching the show. We BTs will be heartbroken and cry for a few weeks and then move on, because the show's writers can do what they want and owe us nothing. But we're not going to spend years bullying and threatening them for not making our ship endgame. That's the power of GA and the show will continue for as long as it has the ratings and network support to back it up, regardless of who Buck ends up with.
And for now, the GA is enjoying Buck with Tommy, so luckily things aren't looking too shabby for the BT fandom and the storyline should stay its course unless the writers decide otherwise, which they don't really have a reason to given the largely positive response reflected through the ratings. Even though we can't predict what happens in the future, we'll cherish every small or big Bucktommy win that comes our way until then! BoBs can keep screaming into the void as usual, but things wouldn't change because they think they can make it happen. That's all.

I find it so interesting having this relationship be the first to end so early in a season while also having it feel so incomplete to the point that those two journalists told Oliver that it feels unfinished.
it's suspicious as hell (tinfoil hat on)! once again, it's breaking old patterns, and that's a core of the bucktommy relationship: setting new precedents. i can't think of a better way to break the mold that have buck fight for what he wants instead of passively waiting for instructions or for time to heal wounds enough that he can move onto the next meet-cute. why else purposefully frame the breakup as miscommunication?
i choose to believe OS alluded to a potential reconciliation when he said there's still 12 whole episodes to see how it plays out in answer to that one interviewer. after all, he didn't outright deny the assumption, so. a tentative win for now
#the only other reason why they'd leave the door open is to keep tommy as an option if they ever need a last minute endgame LI again#except this time it'd be more believable#which is not. ideal. but i'll take it i guess :/#bucktommy#rima.txt

crop top tee and cut off jeans
(An idea I have had for a little while from @silversky9 where Tommy wears a crop top and Buck goes a little feral over it. We bounced the idea and it spiraled into what it is now 🫶 TW for the second half there will be mpreg. But you can stop after the first half — I’ll say when — and it’s just good ol fashion … not quite light smut!)
BuckTommy | M | 2803 words | ao3 link
It is so damn hot.
The sun has been beating down on Tommy’s back for hours as he works in his yard, and he finally has reached the over it stage where he breaks out his special super secret outfit.
Okay, okay… that’s a bit dramatic. It’s just— it’s not something he would typically wear.
He slides the shirt over his head and it stops not quite halfway down his torso, then slides the loose and worn out pair of jeans up over his hips… they aren’t booty shorts… where’s the comfort in that? But… They are shorter than he anticipated when he cut the old jeans off a few summers ago.
He steps out of the bathroom and looks at himself in the mirror. Not bad for an old man, Kinard… he teasingly thinks to himself. His body really is in possibly the best shape he’s been in, in a while. Thanks to his overly enthusiastic boyfriend making sure he sticks to his diet and pouts until he works out with him nearly every day…
Not bad for an old man, at all… trying to keep up— trying to keep himself alive some days. Not that he cares too much. It makes Evan happy and keeps Tommy healthy so he can be around to keep Evan happy for a long long time.
Plus… he has never filled out this outfit so nicely… if he does say (or well, think) so himself.
His solidly built body, just barely, in the old faded cropped slipknot band tee worn mostly just so his shoulders aren’t so exposed to the sun— the shorts hug him a little more than they use to, but are broken in enough to still be breathable and comfy enough to spend the day outside in.
His privacy fence keeps nosey neighbors eyes off the outfit. Not that he cares what they think— that’s a lie… he would love nothing more than to not have to see their judgemental expressions if they saw big tough guy, Tommy, dress… how he is dressed. But in the privacy of his back yard, he feels free to be a little less how he is expected to be— or act, or look. He can remove the metaphorical mask, that even after all this time… he still keeps snuggly on, and be completely just Tommy.
And Tommy likes his cropped up top and cut off jeans. He ties a bandanna around his head to keep his curls pushed back… and his thumbs are painted sparkly purple instead of just clear— because it’s pretty and only he will see it. He smiles once more at himself, feeling the last thread of self doubt break loose and he walks out into his backyard.
It’s still so hot, just more bearable.
His body is drenched and the clothes are plastered to his body… but he’s almost done. The grass is cut; the weeds in his flowerbed taken care of; he pressure washed his back patio, and set up the new table and chairs he recently purchased— he has guests over pretty often now… which is still a new concept he’s wrapping his head around, but they need places to sit, he guesses. The last thing he is going to do for the day is set up a spice garden… for Evan.
“Fresh basil is far superior to the dried flakes, babe…” he had pouted when Tommy didn’t want to pause dinner to run to the store… when he had the ingredient (just not the correct form). Did they go get the fresh basil, yes. Did Tommy begrudgingly admit Evan was correct for wanting to go get the fresh, basil… eventually. Did they take turns with each other’s punishment for being such a brat and a bitch about the situation after dinner… absolutely!
Did Tommy go out the next day and buy everything to set up the little project, and gift, for his boyfriend…? Well… fresh is far superior to dried, so it’s a win win for everyone.
He is so focused on assembling the wooden box he doesn’t hear the engine come to a stop just on the other side of the fence gate, he doesn’t hear the beep as the doors are locked, or Evan when he calls out once he enters the house. He is busy smoothing out the soil, poking holes down for the seeds, and is mid turn to grab said seeds when Evan gasps (pretty dramatically) after stepping out onto the patio.
Tommy freezes. He stares and Evan; Evan stares at him. Then he smiles.
He crosses the patio to where Tommy is standing, takes the seeds from him and sets them down out of the way, then takes Tommy’s face in his hands and pulls him into a deep, passionate kiss. “What… was that for,” Tommy asks, feeling drunk off of it when Evan finally pulls back for air.
“What is this for?” Evan asks, equally winded, moving to mouth along Tommy’s jaw as he slides his hands up Tommy’s sweat slicked back, under the crop top, to his shoulders… then back down to the cut off of the jeans. His fingers slip under the cut and run along the curve of his ass… and he whines against Tommy’s skin.
Tommy’s already heated skin is now on fire, for multiple reasons. He fidgets in Evan’s hold and pulls away to look at him, having to lean far back to escape Evan’s hungry lips as they move down his neck . “You’re ridiculous,” he laughs.
“You’re delicious,” Evan counters and dives back in, walking Tommy back until Evan has him pressed— groin to groin; hardening erection to equally hardening erection — against the railing to his patio steps. Evan trails his tongues back up Tommy’s skin and only stops to nip at his ear causing Tommy to let out a whimpered yelp. “Alright, that’s it…” Evan exclaims, then he dips down and without warning Tommy is hoisted up and over Evan’s shoulder.
“Evan!?” He is held firmly in place and carried up the few steps to the patio door. “But your spice garden…”
“It can wait— wait…my spice garden?”
“Mhmm…” Tommy hums, a proud smile spreading across his face as Evan turns back to look at the little handmade garden box.
He’s quiet for a moment, then tightens his hold on Tommy and pushes the patio door open. “Oh yeah, let’s go…” he mutters, and proceeds to carry him to the bedroom, dropping him onto the bed and wasting no time climbing up on top of him. “You… are amazing, sweetheart… Do you know that?” Tommy preens at that, then shies away. “No no… look at me beautiful. I need to know you understand how much I appreciate and adore you right now.”
Evan sits back on his heels and lets his eyes roam over Tommy’s body, he bites . “It’s just some yard clothes…” Tommy says, knowing there’s a deep blush taking over his face.
“It’s just hot, Tommy… you look so hot in this, and you have no idea do you?”
“You really like it?” Tommy asks softly, and he knows that voice tends to do so much more to Evan than when he drops it down an octave, making it deep and scratchy. He bats his eyes even and Evan looks ready to pounce.
“Oh I’m going to show you just how much I like it—” Evan practically growls. He grabs Tommy by the waist and flips him over, pulling him up onto his knees. “—and you—” He stops Tommy when he starts to pull the crop top off, taking both of Tommy’s wrists in one hand and pressing them into the mattress over his head, no command to leave them there needed, Tommy knows. “—and all the things you do for me, sweetheart.” Then Evan works at the jeans, until they are pushed down just enough to grant him access.
Evan is quick and effective. First with his mouth then with his fingers. He works Tommy open until he is writhing and begging for more and then he gives him just that. Filling him up, while also dropping down to whisper his praises and gratitudes in Tommy’s ear while he pounds into him. Tommy gasps and moans and cries out for Evan to go faster and harder, arching his back against Evan’s chest with an exasperated cry as he reaches his climax.
Needless to say, Tommy is left feeling very appreciated and adored.

STAHP! there be mpreg beyond this point! Unless you’re cool with than then — GO!
🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢🟢
(Forty TWO weeks later)
It is so fucking hot, and Tommy might actually lose his mind.
He is huge and tired and sore… and now the AC won’t turn on. He wants to cry as he flips the switch to off then back on like Evan suggests when Tommy called to angrily panic scream about it. “The tech will be there in the morning to look at it,” Evan tells him at the end of the conversation, after nothing has worked, his voice heavily apologetic… and Tommy whines pitifully. He can’t help it. It’s Evan’s fault he is in this miserable position in the first place. He runs a hand over the large bump housing their baby girl and sighs. “I love you so much, sweetheart. I’ll make it up to you as soon as I get home, okay?”
“Will you bring me some ice cream?” Tommy asks, and Evan quickly agrees without hesitation. “And give me a foot massage?” Another quick agree from Evan, and Tommy digs for more requests; because dammit, if he has to roast in this house because the doctor decided he needs to be put on bed rest while they wait for their daughter's arrival, so he can’t leave, then he is getting pampered for it. His ego and pride can be damned. Evan promises to do every single one, then he has to get off the phone; the sound of the alarm blares in the background and Tommy hopes it will be a quick last call so Evan can get home to him… even if the heat is sweltering and he will not be allowed to touch him beyond the foot massage.
He goes around the house, opening all the windows and turning on all the ceiling fans; he goes into the garage and finds all their standing fans as well. He doesn’t even look at the thermostat to see how hot it is, the way his shirt is drenched and sticking to his body is enough to know it must be ridiculously high.
No matter what he does it is just too hot.
He finally can’t take it anymore and tugs his shirt up and over his bump, but hesitates pulling it over his head. It’s his nipples. They are so sensitive— so sensitive! Not exactly in a good way this far into the pregnancy… and the wind blowing from all the fans will be murderous on them!
The problem is now the fabric is sitting bunched up on top of his stomach and that’s no less annoying than it being plastered to his belly. He huffs about a frustrated breath… then he gets an idea.
Evan is going to murder him for using the kitchen shears but he was too desperate to get this done quickly to go hunt down his crafting scissors. He snatches the shirt off and lays it out flat on the table, eyes a line about midway up and starts cutting. He slides it back on and the edge hovers just above where his belly sticks out from his body, not rubbing annoyingly against it, but still covering his poor nipples from all the air.
He breathes a sigh… and suddenly the idea blossoms. He thinks of his baggy pregnancy jeans… that he will have no use for once the baby is born, then hurries to their room to find them, tugging his gym shorts off and discarding them into the hamper in the corner of their room as he goes.
One more modification later and he tries them on… definitely shorter than he intended but he’s not mad at it. He twists his body as best as he can to see his backside in the mirror and hums a pleased little hum at how he looks. Swollen, sure. But past that he fills the fit out nicely.
And most importantly… he feels substantially better. He might even be able to get some cleaning done now…
Which is exactly what Evan finds him doing when he finally makes it home from work. “What are you—” he gasps, then trails off… Tommy stops mopping and blinks innocently at his soon to be husband. “Oh my god…” Evan sobs, dropping the bag of ice cream with his keys and his jacket and beelining straight into Tommy. His hands wander over the exposed bump and Tommy tilts his head back and softly chuckles as Evan wastes no time latching onto his throat. “Are you trying to kill me, sweetheart?” Evan whines against the mark he left behind. “I just got off work.” He presses a row of kisses around Tommy’s neck, and up to his ear.
“Hmm…” Tommy hums smugly, letting his hands travel up Evan’s arms and wrap around his shoulders. “I had a feeling you might like it.”
“Oh you did?” Evan asks into his ear before nipping at the lobe and sending a shiver through Tommy’s body. “So you purposefully chose to be a tease when I got home?”
“Maaaybe…” Tommy drags out, his lips twitching up into a smirk. He really hadn’t, it was just too damn hot… but he will play into this for some (hopefully labor inducing) sexy times. Evan hesitates— he has his reservations about sex so late in the pregnancy— but it’s very short lived with Tommy dipping his head and glancing up at Evan through his lashes. “What are you gonna do about it?” he asks softly… with just a bit of a needy desperation in his voice.
That does it.
Evan growls and finally captures Tommy’s lips, letting his hands wander and roam over Tommy’s body. The bump is such a mood killer, stuck out and so in the way, but they are creative, and at two weeks over due if Tommy wants it… Tommy gets it. Evan leads him over to the kitchen island, leans him forward just a bit, and tells him to keep his hands flat on the counter top. Then he gets to work, kissing a trail over the back of Tommy’s neck, down his back and stopping at the hem of the pants.
He eases them off of Tommy’s hips, over his extra caked up (Evan’s words of affirmation since he put on he baby weight) ass and down just enough he can easily part Tommy’s cheeks and dives in.
It’s not long before Evan’s ministrations have Tommy’s legs trembling. “Baby…” he pleads, and Evan immediately stops, kissing back up Tommy’s back. They are nothing if not always prepared and Evan quickly finds a live packet in one of the drawers. He pushes his pants down and slicks himself up just as Tommy’s winces.
Evan completely stops. “Are you okay?”
Tommy nods and lets out a deep breath. “This is too much on my back,” he says, rubbing over the heavy bump. “Can we move to the bedroom?”
“You don’t want to stop?” Evan asks, and receives a daring glare. “Okay, okay…” he laughs, and presses a kiss into Tommy’s cheek. Tommy tugs his shorts back up and takes Evan’s hand Very determined to finish what they started now, leading him to their bedroom. Evan eases him onto the bed and takes the sight before him in, groans before joining Tommy on the mattress. “How did I get so lucky?” he asks, running his hands up and over Tommy’s body, moving back to kiss him again.
He gets back to work, this time slipping the shorts all the way off, but making a verbal note that the shirt stays put. Then he shifts Tommy onto his side, moves behind him, lines up, and slides in. Tommy arches back against Evan’s chest and his breathing picks up, as does Evan’s thrusts. “Baby… baby… baby…” Tommy chants, feeling around until he finds Evan's hand and lacing their fingers together. “Come on… come on… come on…”
He can feel the heat pooling in his belly and he knows it isn’t going to take long at all. He bites his lips and starts to rock himself back into Evan’s thrusts, as Evan’s hand releases his and moves down to grip him. It only takes one stroke and Tommy’s vision whites out, his body goes rigid, he cries out Evan’s name…
Needless to say… the baby was born that night.

One of the main discourse topics going around rn is how it highkey looks like Tim borrows from fandom/fanfic.
What if I write a fic series about Tommy as a lead in the spinoff where Buck eventually finds his way back to him (after OG ends) that is so compelling that Tim rips from it? I wouldn’t even be mad.
In delulu conclusion, this is how BuckTommy can still win and we get Tommy as a main.

keep on dancing | bucktommy 1/1
"We actually met before, you know," Tommy says, casual as anything. "Uh, I think I would remember," Josh says, not quite able to help the way his eyes drop and scan up. "A couple times, actually." Josh is being pranked. "Pull the other one," he intones, already feeling the awkwardness start to lift away, which shouldn't be possible, but there's something about this Tommy guy, the way he carries himself, the way his expressions bring you in on the conversation. --- Josh has his memory jogged at a little gathering Tommy throws for Maddie and Chimney's six month anniversary.
read on ao3
"Josh, hey!"
Josh spins from the table with half an eggroll still stuffed in his mouth, and immediately wishes a sinkhole would open up beneath him. Just - just beneath him, though, he doesn't want to get stuck down there with Maddie's earnest as all get out brother and the man he's presenting to Josh like a prize-winning bull stud.
And.
He's still got an unchewed lumpia in his damn mouth.
Josh chews like his life depends on it, feeling mortified as The Boyfriend grins. They've technically met, although Josh doubts he remembers. Josh had still been stuffing his face with cake (a theme, apparently) and The Boyfriend (Tommy, he knows his name is Tommy, he's got to stop being so weird about the absolute hunk of a man Buck bagged by being a bumbling idiot) had been a little too invested in staring at Evan Buckley like the sun shone out his ass.
Fair assessment, really. If any of them had known Buck was bi, Josh might have shot his shot, at one point. They'd have been terrible together, but they are all intimately aware of how thoroughly Evan Buckley kisses, now.
"Josh, you remember Tommy?"
Tommy seems to clock that Josh is still chewing, damnit. And of course, of course, Evan Buckley hasn't just managed to bag the Greek-godliest, calendar centerpieceist hunk of a man in LA, he's also apparently found someone completely willing to not just ignore social faux-pas, but cover for them too. He tilts his gaze away from Josh, does something with his eyes that Josh would categorize as a flitter, if he wasn't built like a tank, and slides a hand up along Buck's back. Josh watches the big wide hand curl over the back of Buck's shoulder and seriously considers whether it would be blasphemous to pray for one of his own.
"You introduced us at the hospital," Tommy says, and Buck beams, like he's pleased Tommy remembers. Christ. The way they've been orbiting each other all evening, Josh is pretty sure Tommy never forgets anything he does with Buck.
He doesn't catch the weird phrasing until after he's swallowed, cleared his throat, and extended his hand. "Nice to meet you again," he says, and absolutely does not curse the gods when Tommy's grip is firm and crisp and gentle without being condescending.
Josh is happy for Buck, he really, genuinely is. He'd just be happier if he had his own.
"We actually met before, you know," Tommy says, casual as anything.
"Uh, I think I would remember," Josh says, not quite able to help the way his eyes drop and scan up.
"A couple times, actually."
Josh is being pranked. "Pull the other one," he intones, already feeling the awkwardness start to lift away, which shouldn't be possible, but there's something about this Tommy guy, the way he carries himself, the way his expressions bring you in on the conversation.
"You helped me through a rough call, my first week in the air," Tommy says, fingers still squeezing at Buck's left shoulder, posture open and inviting, and Josh tries to pull the voice out of his memory. It's -- distinctive, really, low register but slightly nasally, a high up-down to the cadence that Josh would have clocked in a heartbeat. Patterns of speech is a terrible way to generalize, but he's got a pretty good success rate, when he can put a living breathing face to the voice.
He doesn't take many air support calls, and really that's what does it. "The fire whirl in the Thomas Fire," Josh says, and Tommy nods, smile lines deep around his eyes. "They'd just named it, and you felt like it was a little on the nose."
Buck's eyes brighten, like he can't help but be charmed by the story.
"He saved my ass," Tommy says, bumping his shoulder against Buck's, and Buck beams, blinks, grins at Josh. "And then when I invited him for drinks with the Harbor boys he beat me at pool and bounced before I could ask him out to dinner."
"That -- that did not happen."
Tommy's head tilts, brows dancing up his forehead, expression gently insulted.
Josh desperately reaches for the memory. A vague outline of it, even. The voice, a little concerned, a lot matter-of-fact as he informed Josh that they'd hovered too low over the fire, and if Josh could please send out a radio call to anyone on the ground in the area to clear out before the bird crashed to the earth and exploded, because his radio was out. Josh, who'd talked to enough air support to have a basic idea of what mechanics were causing the issue, reminding the voice of the maneuver he could use to steer out of it.
Josh, bright red and stifling his bashful giggles when the voice informed him he was good in a crisis and he should come down to The Rose so that Tommy and his team could buy Josh a drink.
Josh squints. Oh, he'd taken one look at Firefighter Kinard and chalked that up to wishful thinking, ordered an Uber before he'd sunk his first solid, and dipped before he could convince himself the gentle teasing was anything more than a man grateful he'd had someone in his ear reminding him he was a competent pilot with years of experience under his belt.
Josh blinks. "You were hitting on me."
Tommy runs his tongue over his teeth. "Unsuccessfully, yeah. The boys gave me shit for a month about it."
Buck has clearly already heard this story. He's staring at Josh like he wants to tease him, is reining it in by the skin of his teeth. There's nothing smug about it, which Josh is grateful for merely on the basis that he's seen the way these two look at each other and he's no competition for Tommy's attention at all, anymore.
"Well that's mortifying," he admits, and Tommy laughs, head tipped back, smile lines etched deep into his skin. Buck's face does something deeply endearing, and Josh has to look away, for a moment.
Tommy tips forward again. "It was character building. First attempt I made with witnesses, taught me I had to be a little less subtle." He shoots a significant look at Buck, who dips his chin towards his chest. God, Josh wants that. He'd been pretty sure he had it, for a hot second. His gaze is annoyingly wistful when Tommy turns back to him and catches it. "Can I grab you a beer?"
And Josh had kind of forgotten who was hosting this little shindig -- Maddie'd made noise about how sweet it was for Tommy to float the idea of a little celebration for their nuptials, when he heard the Buckley parents were coming back into town, and Chimney had just grumbled that Tommy was looking for excuses to get Buck on a dance floor, but he'd been pleased about it too, under the sarcasm. Josh can't quite hide the face he makes, though. He's not a snob about his alcohol, but all he's seen floating around here are Corona's and Bud Light. Buck shifts his weight, sways his hip into Tommy's.
"We could crack open those weird cheesecake sours you got last week," he suggests, and Tommy tilts his head, squints his eyes.
"They're not weird, you just have the palette of a frat boy."
"Well, Josh definitely has more refined taste than me, the flavor won't be lost on him."
Tommy grins at Josh. "Clearly that wasn't always the case," he shoots off, even as he's slipping his hand from Buck's shoulder, shifting to the side, backing away with a smarmy little grin on his face, and Josh throws his hands up in the air, sends the parting shot before he gets far enough across the yard that Josh has to yell.
"You can't try it out if you don't know it's on the menu!"
Buck and Josh both watch Tommy saunter away. Lord, Josh hopes Buck is taking full advantage of those glutes.
"Congratulations, again," Josh says, letting some of the put-upon ire drop out of his voice. "I know I've said this already, but -- I really am happy for you."
He's really only heard bits and pieces of Buck's absolutely ridiculous jump from solid, unflinching ally to bumbling crush on a beautiful man, but just like every other person on planet earth who discovers a facet of themselves that isn't considered normal by the world at large, he knows there are bumps in the road. Moments where you question yourself, and your place within the confines of society. Buck could have called it a wash, after acting a fool, but clearly he'd found something in himself he felt was worth pursuing.
Buck smiles, and not for the first time since he'd stumbled into Howie's hospital room, face covered in soot and Tommy's hand clenched in his like a life-line, Josh can tell there's something settled in him that hadn't been before. He knows the feeling well.
"I'm not sharing," Buck tells him, tongue in cheek as he smacks a meaty hand to Josh's shoulder, and Josh is too busy pretending not to struggle under the solid weight to think of something clever to say back.
-----
"You weren't kidding," Josh says to Chimney, as he openly stares at the couple dancing across the yard. Everyone else has been attempting at subtlety, but at Josh's words at least three people guiltily dart their gazes away from Buck and Tommy swaying together under a string of fairy lights.
"I should be out there dancing with my beautiful bride," Chimney says, and Maddie holds out a hand, a challenge in her eyes.
Sometimes Josh wishes he was less of a romantic, so he could at least pretend to find the way Chim's eyes sparkle a little exhausting.
Bobby is already spinning Athena into the circle of his arms as the quiet, steady thrum of an acoustic guitar floats across the little makeshift dance floor in the orange light of the yard. When Athena says something to Buck and Tommy, tucked together and speaking in soft voices two songs ago now, Bobby grins, and Buck ducks his head bashfully into the solidness of Tommy's shoulder. Whatever Tommy says back has Bobby pressing a laughing kiss to his wife's forehead as he guides them just far enough away to give Buck and Tommy some distance.
He finds Eddie Diaz moping on one of the patio chairs under little built-in pergola that makes Josh more than a little jealous of Buck's stumble into possibly the perfect man.
Hen and Karen have joined the dancing, too.
Eddie eyes him for a moment when Josh settles into the adirondack to his left. "You tired of the love-fest, too?" he asks, and Josh shakes his head, settling his chin on his hand to watch the annoyingly hopeful scene.
"Just -- taking it all in."
Eddie harrumphs, but out of the corner of his eye Josh can see him watching, too.
Maddie barks our delighted laughter when Tommy cuts in to spin her out of Chimney's arms, and Chim and Buck take that as their cue to conduct a frankly ridiculous waltz between the rest of the group.
Josh sighs like the damn romantic fool he is, and Eddie shifts on his right.
"You wanna...?" Josh tilts his head, and Eddie's face morphs into a shrug of an expression.
"I'm good here," Josh tells him, and Eddie purses his lips. "But you should join them."
Eddie rolls his tongue against his cheek, takes a sip of his beer, rolls his neck and darts his gaze across to the rest of his rag tag family. He nods, shifts his weight, rolls his hands down his thighs to find leverage against his knees to stand. "Find me for the Electric Slide. Tommy's a nightmare about line dances."

BuckTommy Fantasy AU
I'm pretty sure this premise has been posted before, but I haven't done more than a quick glance at those:
Buck is a prince somewhere, and he needs to get married. So his parents have suitors come in for a ball.
One of the princesses brings her brother as her guard, Tommy Kinard.
At first, I just wanted the princess to arrive for a visit with her brother to see if she and Buck would be a match, but Buck ends up bonding with her brother.
Wait, it works both ways. He greets them when they arrive, hangs out with Tommy for a few days, then the ball happens, and Buck sneaks to the gardens to get away from all the women trying to win his hand.
How does this go unnoticed by the folks at the party since heirs are watched like hawks? That's a question for another day. Oh, wait, maybe Daniel is still alive in this universe and the ball is for him, and if Buck ends up with a betrothed as well, then that's just bonus.
So he and Tommy sneak out to the gardens for some fresh air. Buck jokingly asks Tommy if he's not tempted by the women inside, and Tommy says he has no interest in them.
Buck being Buck says, "Good, so now I can spend time with you then being stuck in there. I like spending time with you. You're the most interesting guest here." Not realizing how gay as fuck that sounds.
Maybe his hangouts with Tommy also included Tommy's sister because Tommy was the chaperone between them. So the whole time Tommy thought Buck might have been interested in his sister because of how many times Buck would hang out with her.
"I thought you were into my sister," Tommy says.
"She'd make a good friend, but you were more of the reason I kept spending time with her. Getting you alone was damn near impossible at first," Buck replies, still not realizing how fucking gay this sounds.
"You were trying to get my attention?" Tommy asks.
"Yeah, I guess so. I mean, I'm here with you now instead of in there. And you never noticed how I talked to you more than her?"
And then Tommy kisses him.
Buck is still Buck, and is SHOCKED! Shocked I tell you!
He had no idea that he was attracted to men until Tommy kissed him.
They end up spending the next few days with each other until it's time for Tommy to escort his sister back home, and Buck comes up with a great idea of having him join them on the journey back so he can learn more about them.
Tommy's sister kinda figured out what was going on, and she has no desire to actually marry because she's aroace, so she helps them hide their relationship. Not because of their world being homophobic, the world is not homophobic. It's more of a privacy thing. They want to explore what this new thing is with each other before making it public.
Tommy officially beds Buck in his living quarters, and it's perfect.
And so on from there.

Idk if this will ever be finished because uni and life got overwhelming but I thought why not post this so some people can see it and read it rather than sit in my drafts. Anyways it's a bucktommy au only really the start. Word count - 2417
Buck was fed up with going to physiotherapy; he knew he needed to go for his leg and get back to firefighting, but it was so draining, and every session just reminded him of how far he must go. Having to do the exercises and struggling just added more to the pain and heartbreak of not being able to go back to firefighting, the one thing he felt was important. The 118 tried to help him but they just felt like comforting platitudes. Always saying take your time, you will be back sooner than you know. He just wanted to be back out there, doing the rescues, and helping people, he didn’t want to feel stuck. He kept going, kept pretending he cared about more than the job, that he wasn’t struggling to get up knowing he wasn’t truly closer to getting back to work.
The appointment that day wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t great either, they had been going through some of the standard exercises to get strength back. They were exercises he could’ve done in his sleep before the truck but now his muscles shook, locked into tense positions, making it hard to walk. The physiotherapist, Emma, always would say it's normal and it will improve, and he just wanted to shout at her sometimes. When will it improve? When? Every time he feels the same, no improvement. He needed something to feel like a win.
As he walked out of the appointment room, slightly limping, keeping weight on his left, he bumped into something. He fell back slightly, catching himself with his bad leg, letting out a hiss of pain and stumbling. A hand grabs his arm steadying him.
“Hey,” a soft voice appears, “You good?”
“Yeah, uh,” Buck looks up to see concerned eyes and dark hair. “I wasn’t expecting to bump into someone. Caught myself on my bad leg.”
“It’s my fault I wasn’t looking where I was going.” The hand lets go of its hold on his arm and Buck can feel himself steady, but pain still races up his leg a not-so-subtle reminder that he needs to be more careful. “I’m Tommy, here for my shoulder, you?”
“Evan, my leg if it wasn’t obvious.” Buck wasn’t sure why he said Evan not Buck, but it felt easier, Buck had the expectations of a firefighter, of someone fit and healthy, something who could stumble and put weight on his leg. Evan had no expectations apart from being someone who fucked up.
“I have to go in for my appointment, Evan,” Tommy saying Evan felt nice, Buck wasn’t sure why. “But maybe I will see you next week? If you have an appointment?”
“I do,” Buck chuckled a bit at arranging to meet at another physio appointment but why not, Tommy seems nice. “I guess I will see you then.”
And that was the start of their weekly physio meet-ups.
Every week, when Tommy’s appointments lined up with Buck's, was a light in each dark week. He did feel like he was closer to getting somewhere now with his leg, but it was still a struggle. Talking to Tommy after each appointment helped, he had learnt so much about Tommy. He now knew that Tommy was a firefighter pilot at the Harbor Station and had also been at the 118 before he had transferred which meant that Buck had gotten to learn what it was like before he joined the station. Buck had gotten to laugh at stories such as Maurice and the knives.
(“What do you mean you had to get a chicken with knives attached to its legs?”
“It was a part of a cock fighting ring!”
“Sure…”
“The best part was Bobby giving the chicken to Athena.”
‘Wait! What do you mean he did that! Tell me more!”)
Buck learns about Tommy’s time in the army, and how he joined to escape his dad. He joined as early as he could and ended up being discharged after he was shot in the shoulder. Buck learns how he decided to join firefighting.
(“After being discharged I had no purpose, like I was floating with no anchor. After so long of being in regimented routines where every part of my day was decided for me, I just didn’t know what to do. Then I saw an emergency happen in front of me, nothing serious, someone had fallen and broken their leg and needed an ambulance, I saw how the team worked together, and it reminded me of my time in the army. How there you had a group of people who always had your back. That’s why I signed up, I wanted to help people and have people around me to fall back on.”
“But then you had Gerrard.”
“But I had Gerrard.”)
After Tommy opens up about Gerrard, Buck slowly learns more bits and pieces about Tommy’s life. He learns how Gerrard was almost a perfect reflection of Tommy's father and how it affected him in terms of coming to accept himself. Buck learns about how Tommy felt after starting therapy when he joined the 217, wanting to learn how to be a better person and come to terms with what had happened in the past.
(“It took a lot of work to come to terms with myself and realise that I couldn’t keep letting my dad hang over my head. I needed to accept myself and with comfortable with me. Hen was actually the first person I told I was gay. She was a big reason why I had come to terms with wanting to be proud of who I am and who I love. So, I wanted her to be the first to know.”
“How did she react?”
“Oh, she invited me over for dinner with Karen, it was one of the first times I had been able to talk about being gay and what it meant for me. I don’t talk to Hen as often anymore, but we always tell each other happy pride. I miss her.”)
Tommy in turn learns about Evan’s travels before he became a firefighter, and learns about Maddie who only recently came back in his life. Tommy sits there and listens while Evan talks about growing up in a home where only his sister was a parent to him and how he felt abandoned when Maddie stayed with Doug but also how having Maddie’s jeep set him free from the expectations of his parents.
(“So, a cowboy, you were a cowboy.”
“I don’t know if I would say cowboy…”
“Come one, Evan, I know you want to call yourself a cowboy.”
“Okay, maybe I was a cowboy.”)
Tommy also learns about when Evan was fired, and how he was using sex as a coping mechanism and took the fire truck to have sex with someone. He learns that Evan cares so much about the job, how much he needs to be able to go back to work and how much pain Evan is hiding.
(“The day I got fired was a difficult day, but it was also a good day. I learnt how much firefighting means to me and I got to prove myself to both Athena and Bobby. Since then, my love for the job has grown with each rescue no matter how small or big. I just want to get back to it, Tommy, it almost hurts being away from it and not knowing when I will be back. I just want to get better.”
“You will, Evan. I know you will.”
“How do you know?”
“Because I see you, I see your determination, your strength. You will get back there.”)
Tommy also learns about how Evan got the leg injury and the events leading up to it. He remembers hearing about the bombs being placed around the city, targeting people. He remembers the horror of seeing the news report of a firefighter being trapped under an engine and the bomber refusing to let anyone near him. He remembers watching with bated breath, hoping to see the figure be set free, he almost cried with relief when he saw the truck being lifted. He couldn’t imagine being the person going through it. He felt like he understood Evan even more after hearing about it.
(“It was terrifying, I was stuck, and I was sure I was going to lose my leg. The kid just wouldn’t do anything, I mean I get he was scared and hurt but I just wanted to be out of pain.”
“God, Evan, I can’t imagine.”
“I thought I would be free of the pain when they started to lift the truck, but it just got worse, and now I’m likely to never stop feeling pain in my leg. Sometimes it feels like I’m still under there, with no help coming.”
“Evan, I will always help, please call me, text me anytime and I will get to you as soon as possible. I will make sure that help is always coming.”)
As suddenly as the meetings started, they stopped. Tommy’s shoulder no longer needed to be watched over by the physio and it was just at-home exercises he needed to do. Buck didn’t realise quite how lonely the appointments would be after that even though he knew his end was in sight as well. Though he didn’t see Tommy at the appointments, they did finally remember to share their numbers and since then, Buck didn’t think they had gone more than a day without texting.
(Tommy: Only a couple more PT sessions left, then its recertify training?
Buck: Yep! So happy I can finally start training again soon. The academy won’t know what hit them!
Tommy: Let me know when you start and you can come round and train in my home gym)
Sometimes it was serious texts, long messages about something that was bothering them, often about their injuries that they both knew they would be dealing with for the rest of their lives. Having someone able to understand helped Buck be able to slowly come to terms with the pain in his leg, he was able to look past it more and accept that some things in his life would have to adjust. Other times the messages sent were much less serious.
(Buck: did you know there is only one seal species that only live in freshwater?
Tommy: No, but go on
Buck: Yes!! The Baikal Seal in Russia, its found in the baikal lake which is also the deepest lake in the world!)
Buck learnt more about the day to life of a firefighter pilot, what kind of work they do what kind of calls Tommy takes. He learns that Tommy does a lot of air transport often from the harder hiking routes in LA where inexperienced hikers think they can handle. He also learns about some of the weird calls that he’s done while being with Harbor.
(Tommy: so one time we went out to a call middle of nowhere to transport a medical call and when we get there we find this couple who had obviously come out for a date when some how one of them got tangled up and tripped over the picnic blanket breaking their leg and then the other decides you know what it’s the perfect time to propose right as we are about to put their partner in the helicopter
Buck: did they say yes?!?!?!?!?
Tommy: is that the only thing you took away from that story…
Buck: you can’t leave me hanging what was the answer!!!!!
Tommy: …. They said yes
Buck: !!!!!)
As time went on Tommy did wonder if Evan was pushing himself too far to recertify as soon as he could. Tommy worried that he could cause an injury down the line and did try and get Evan to slow down whenever he came round to train in his gym. He would force longer rests and lighter weights, citing that it would help him when he went hard on his own. Tommy would also try and convince him to slow down whenever Evan told him he was going to the gym or training; it didn’t always go well but at least he tried. Tommy also almost wanted to suggest therapy for Evan because he knew there was more driving these decisions than just Evan wanting to be back on the job. It was almost like Evan felt it was the only thing going for him.
(Tommy: Evan, maybe, you can take a day off from training?
Evan: I need to do this, Tommy, I need to get back to it
Tommy: It will still be there no matter how long you take, im sure other people have told you this)
Evan was having a bad day, he wasn’t replying the same and was constantly dodging Tommy’s suggestions of coming around, and having a movie day, something Evan had always been open to previously. Evan had been having a hard time when coming to training towards recertification, Tommy had been hearing it for the last week or so, Evan just wasn’t where he wanted to be. Tommy knew that Evan would make it back to the 118 and get through the recertification process he just needed to give himself time. A glance to his side where Willow was laying gave Tommy an idea to get Evan to maybe cheer up.
(Tommy: [Cat picture]
Tommy: [Cat picture]
Tommy: [Cat picture]
Evan: cat? When did you get a cat?
Evan: also CAT
Tommy: I got her shortly after you last came over, one of the other firefighters in Habor found her but couldn’t keep her. I could so took her in
Tommy: [Cat picture]
Evan: Im coming over to meet her, now, be prepared)
Tommy was beginning to plan his and Evans's celebratory meal for the day after Evans's celebratory BBQ with the 118. Evan had tried to get him to come to the BBQ, but Tommy wasn’t ready to see the 118 in person even if Evan had said they wanted to meet him, well not him, the Tommy that Evan had told them about. Eventually, he will see them again just not right now.
(Evan: are you sure you don’t wanna come to Bobby’s and Athena’s?
Tommy: yes, im looking forward to seeing you the day after. I’m not good at large gatherings anyway
Evan: if you are sure, we could do both
Tommy: im sure, you enjoy yourself, don’t worry about me)

this is a rambling post no one is gonna read but I GOTTA WRITE IT because i've watched the whole 911 show in the past five months and never really talked about it, so i gotta say some things that are important to me (some might be unpopular opinions idk i don't really know the fandom, i've only checked the tag in the past weeks for s8 and all i can see is mostly annoying fanwars about which ship is better)
my dash could be biased and tumblr itself could be biased for mlm ships BUT WHY DID I NOT KNOW THIS SHOW HAS LESBIANS. like. i'm gonna use the few screencaps i posted here on tumblr while i was binge-watching the show buT
they're everything they're the best they're all i've ever wanted and they're not talked about enough, i don't know if it's because they're a wlw ship and they're a BLACK wlw ship or it's just that they're an enstablished couple and all, but damn i wish i saw them more in my dash and here on the freaking gay website because they have given me so many emotions through the seasons and they're SOLID and i just love them so much :( of course i know karen is not always present because it's a procedural show and sometimes the characters disappear for episodes, but they've solidified 911 in my heart . because damn this show is QUEER and it has been queer since day 1
my top faves are chim maddie hen and buck ok i don't make the rules they're the best but I LOVE THEM ALL and i think one of the best things of this show is the found family concept. you just gotta love them all. even if sometimes they have crazy writing moments through the seasons (like when buck tried to sue 118 or when eddie left 118 jfefhrf)
i love LOVE LOVE 911 because of all the feelings, the found family, how inclusive it feels with all the queer storylines and how diverse the main cast is (but also the case-of-the-day cast too... i'm a fan of another procedural like fringe, it was the 2010 and it was the whitest thing ever, (and the production was racist too) things have changed) BUT IT'S still copaganda. athena grant is a lot of copaganda. the two things can coexist i can love her and despise her story at times ok.
i hope we get a great henren/madney storyline in season 8 because (they're literally my faves) they're the best. i kinda wish for chim and maddie to long for a second children, now that they have mara in their lives? I'm not sure, i just know i need more of them. they're literally . so good to me. they've captivated my heart in s2 and they never left. the potential chim and maddie had was so great, but timing, trauma, depression, many things were keeping them apart, and every win felt EARNED. i just think sometimes straights have rights and that's madney's case.
i love buck like anyone in the fandom, but i think part of the craze on tumblr is due to his bisexual storyline and i gotta say... i do enjoy bucktommy. atm they're cute. being silly and in the honeymoon phase. do i ship buddie? i do, there are so many GREAT things through the seasons that make you feel - wow they could be perfect together - but that doesn't mean i will hate on bucktommy for now (yeah, i know, tommy was horrible in the past, yeah he was closeted and repressed, yeah he could have been better, he was racist and homophobic, i know, but i guess he got better since the characters are ok with him? sometimes we'll never get that resolution on screen) (i think all of them had their bad moments as characters, i mean, i could open a whole file about athena being a bad cop and still she's everyone's faves)
getting back to buck i did love his bisexuality storyline and i love him BEING BISEXUAL, it's not about tommy or about eddie or about anyone it's about him being bisexual. in his early 30s. BUT I gotta say, for how writers have written these characters, for me it made so much more sense for eddie to turn out gay than buck having his bi moment (and it's because of the writing). it makes sense for buck to be bisexual because he has always loved women and he's tried to make his relationships work, unlike eddie, but then he found out he also like men. he had soo many queer hints around him and it's just. fitting. i love him to bits. i wish s7 was longer so we could get things a bit slower, the pace was fast but i loved it. AND DAMN buck was jealous of eddie because of tommy? or of tommy because of eddie? I wonder.
i'm not sure 100% they'll go with buddie for now, but maybe it's just i am not an optimistic per se and i wanna see where they go with eddie's personal growth BUT eddie is gay. he gotta be gay. that man only had one love in his life, shannon, and that love is an idea he has. he thinks they had a great love story, but the truth is that they met when they were young, she got pregnant, he ran away from her for years with the military stuff, then he came back and she ran away, then they got together but still she asked for divorce and then she died. he denies her leaving him because of an idea of something that never really existed. even if he loved her, i'm sure he did love her but, it wasn't something perfect or functioning like bathena henren and madney. eddie is a terrible romantic partner (he's a good dad, but a terrible guy to date lbr) and it's because he's gay. i know everyone in the fandom agrees but i gotta write it down ok. when he's forced to date he feels like he has to perform? he self-sabotage all his relationships with women?? his love stories always end because of him? he had panic attack because of committing to ana??? come on ? the marisol storyline?? That shit is insane if he isn't gay
and that's why i'm asking for eddie to come to terms with who HE REALLY IS without christopher in his life. he's not just chris dad. he gotta stop running away. they have the possibility to make a great storyline for him, after several weird seasons for the poor guy. he gotta understand and accept himself and then maybe he'll work out the things with his son. this is one of the most exciting storylines for s8 and i really hope we get it. if we don't we need a PROPER story that makes sense with all of that tbh.
i'm ok with buddie happening in another season tbh i just want eddie to come to terms with his sexuality. i just love good writing and this show has its great moments with characters and that's why i love it, because it has heart. it has incredible characters i love.
i do love bathena and bobby and athena even if it might not be obvious in this post hahah and i wish we could get back may and henry, i miss athena having actually children
#911#henren#buddie#personal#eddie diaz#chim han#maddie buckley#evan buckley#madney#gay eddie is my current obsession as you can guess. i do enjoy buddie bc dam the buckley diaz family!!! but i dont think the story and#times are ready yet.
