Love the bingo event but 2 cards for readers vs 6 cards for writers is foul, why not more 😭😭😭
is it really foul or do just have no idea how long it takes to write sth
#there's 8 writing prompts per card. that's A LOT for the span of two weeks while this event lasts#it's not like i expect anyone to actually write all 48 of these prompts. i just wanted to have some variety within them#and bc they're all based on things i enjoy in fiction and that's a lot of things apparently lmao#so no i don't think it's foul and honestly i don't appreciate the reader vs. writers mentality 👍#writers ALWAYS get the short end of the stick in fandom circles and this goes especially for x reader writers#bc it's a genre that constantly gets clowned on from all sides and it's tiring. so much.#so as a writer myself i want to create events where other writers feel seen and appreciated! where they connect and bond over sth they love#bring a little fun into a space that often feels like you're all by yourself you know#really all i want. it's not a matter of playing favorites or forgetting about other essential parts of fandom (readers)#i think i balanced these cards out really well and everyone got a fair chance in the raffle#plus no one is forced to participate to begin with so lmao.#sorry this turned into a bit of a rant but it's a touchy topic for me#-`♡´- ask

I really hope that Tim understands how much of a disservice it would be if he decides to make Eddie's arc about going full Catholic instead of realizing his Catholic upbringing suppressed his sexuality and eventually coming out.
Because if he decided to go that route, what exactly would that show?
Like "Oh, the reason Eddie couldn't maintain a steady relationship with women was because he wasn't religious enough. And now that he is, that won't be an issue anymore!"
That literally makes no sense from a narrative standpoint and it definitely sends a certain message from a realistic standpoint.

Been a bit quiet (aside from story posts that I occasionally draft) but I've been archiving a lot of old stuff including my OG Fletcher legacy to have easy access to it in the docs (and maybe get some inspiration/thoughts for the characters who are still relevant in my verse by seeing how their original development went) and damn one of my main takeaways was that I absolutely slept on Kyle and Lyra as a couple. Now that I have a special soft spot for couples that are best friends first I see their beauty and I love them both separately and together😭

#photo diary#1 - love this image of Noodle.. such a weird angle that makes his head look entirely round like a puff ball or something#2 - a more recent (still from months ago) collection of my pressed flowers and 4 leaf clovers I found.#3. Being one of the only people in 2024 still going 'hee heee I've just bought a new wii game!' but.. I have. >:3#It's kind of like Wii Sports Resort but is like.. open world? so your character can actually walk around and stuff. REALLY makes me#wish I had the type of set up where I could record video from my wii and stuff like some gaming youtubers have. I think it'd be a really#fun game to play on video and to DOCUMENT it!!! I keep wishing I could screenshot my little guy walking around but I caaant..#I've literally just been taking out my phyiscal camera and photographing the screen which always looks bad.. augh..#4. Something in the froxen food aisle called 'Wellington Bites' a play on beef wellington. suprisingly good actually. but I guess anything#with like beef and mushrooms usually is. But it seems like.. oddly decent for frozen food stuff.#5 - boye looking Round again.. 6 - updated score in the wii fit minigame again. marina, in this trailer, doesnt seem to be speaking through the same mic with pearl like octo expansion. so if were looking at it in a positive-nothing-bad-happened-to-marina light, marina has her own robot that isnt shown in the trailer. but my main guess is that something happened to marina like being sucked in like dedf1sh and lost within wherever they are
