i also think by fridging tante heleen they took a lot away from inej’s personal journey, the manipulation and abuse she experienced, the horror of being caught back in those fake silks, the triumph stealing the jewel right off her neck, all these things inej worked through herself and did for herself in the books become something solely for kaz to save her from, and sure he’s always played a part in her freedom but those steps were really important for inej to work through her trauma originally. consolidating inej’s trauma from heleen/the menagerie and his own into the one villain who was already always his to vanquish was such a bad move

You know how in the dungeon scene, Chuuya has his hand around Dazai's neck to choke. Well a silly thing is, that as scary as he tries to look, this wouldn't kill a person.

There r air chokes and blood chokes. Air chokes can easily kill, while the blood ones will only make the person faint (i mean can also kill if held for too long but. If u r going with this intention then just to the air one??).

Chuuya is using a blood choke on Dazai, so basically?? He's not even threatening him seriously.

You could think that it's just something random harukawa/bones drew bc it looked okay but,, before the Fukuchi fight, Akutagawa uses the blood choke on that one random guy. So basically Asagiri knows the difference and uses it in his writing,,
