We love first year Rook with first year Idia so much, Anon, you have no idea! And Rook/Idia in general, this is one of the things that I really want to draw properly at least once. For now we only have sketches…

But to answer your question! I like to think that Rook was very intrigued by Idia right away; of course Idia isn’t a beastman, but he is not only super bright and shiny-looking (unusual! Interesting!), but also is a very rare pokemon to see. It’s very easy to picture Rook getting excited and charmed by him, maybe he even had a period of a little obsession~ But of course none of this is in any way returned by Idia; to him being suddenly surrounded by so many loud and annoying people his age is already stressful enough, but Rook is somehow worse than all of them combined. He hates everyone from Savanaclaw, but they’re usually just rude jerks, but Rook? If only he was a rude jerk…

This is such a good question, Anon. It’s honestly still kind of easy to imagine him doing that. He punishes himself constantly, and while I don’t think this is necessarily about control, this absolutely could be about wanting to make himself feel even worse or to distract himself from the other kind of deep pain he’s feeling. Since we’re talking about a character here, as an artist I can also add that seeing him this way could be aesthetically pleasing, there are some very good artworks with this theme.

That being said, we usually tend to think that Idia wouldn’t do that. I agree that Idia being phobic of pain sounds very like him, but also? He is very detached from the physical side of things in general, I think. He would rather torment himself mentally.

Another reason for Idia and selfharm not really working in our heads is that I don’t think Ortho would let him. He is very sensitive to changes in his health condition after all.

So in every media I have watched or just had people do in front of me irl, I Do Not like looking at or listen to people kiss, flirt, be intimate or any of that kind of stuff for the life of me.

I always have to cover the screen, mute the volume, turn away and just focus on something else until it’s over

I think that’s where the romance/sex repulsion comes in. But sometimes, it tends to feel like it’s coming from a place of awkwardness and uncomfyness, like it’s just something I do not relate to and I’m the only one in the room that feels that way out of a whole group that doesn’t. Idk if that really matters tho ??

It’s why the whole concept of “simping” ends up making me feel really uncomfortable tbh. (and just wanna clarify I really don’t have problems with people who like self shipping, there’s no hate towards them, i mean that!! /gen)

It just feels like I’m sitting across from someone that’s saying all of these jokes and making all of those comments about a character, and I will just never feel/think about someone that way, so idk, the vibes are just real off for me at that point and I don’t like it.

On a different side to that, I’m still perfectly fine having fantasies or engaging in fan content about these concepts, although there is a small feeling of awkwardness while doing so, but it’s mostly in fanart or some fanfics I come across. I still avoid any types of self-insert or x reader stuff, but the main romantic/explicit content I can engage with is shipping stuff

It’s more easier for me to see these romantic or explicit scenarios play out when there are other characters doing it that aren’t me, so there’s the aego part there. I quickly start getting iffy when I’m reading stuff that has a first-person pov and describing a intimate scene

So all in all, anything that indicates having to place myself within a romantic/sexual setting is a big no no

And tbh, putting those two things together now that I’m looking at it, it really feels like a big contradiction I think, it sounds like it is

But since I’m actually laying it down and really thinking about it, I think it mostly comes down to me physically seeing that stuff, with the fanart and show/movie scenes. I have a better time imagining that stuff with different characters, also by reading. I just really don’t like hearing people talk about their attraction to someone and act out on it where I can see.

To give a tldr: I’m a sex/romance repulsed aroace, I don’t like looking at things with those kinds of interactions, along with stuff like self shipping and reader inserts, they’re a big no for me. But I’m also aego, I can engage with romantic or explicit content if they are playing out entirely with different characters, it’s pretty much the only way I can look at things like that, just as long as there’s nothing that places me in the pov of those scenes.

Considering you already made a long post about Lawtsuda I’ll go ahead and ask how you feel about Lawlight instead (love your art!)

Some days I really like it others I’m a little more eh about it. I’ll go into detail about both:

I personally enjoy Lawlight in the Drama, the most. They felt extra fruity and shippy to me personally. Now why I like that adaptation more than the anime/manga? They moved them closer in age, Light already being in college. Just a little weird to me with the pairing when Light is still in high school. The drama I like because the subtle little kiss on the cheek, the way Light dodged outta having to be handcuffed, the flirtatious looks they continuously give each other, the playful little banter they always are having. AGHHHHH. It’s just good stuff.

Now on for the general!

Like I mentioned in my Lawtsuda post, I like pairings where it’s a give and take. It is no different with Lawlight. They both cure each other’s boredom, they bring thrill to each other’s lives because finally they met someone on the same wave length as them! Light also I feel brings out the sillier side to L, which I find amusing ^^ As for the reverse, I think L just brings Light a sense of comfort and more openness that he hadn’t had as much before. (Cause he’s so incredibly gay)

In the story, I don’t think anyone (yes even my Lawtsuda shipper heart can attest) can match how in sync and strong their bond is. They fit together with each other perfectly. Also them both being great at tennis, both having similar level of intellect to always have engaging conversations, both engaging in their mind games. They just genuinely seem to enjoy being in the other’s company too if you ignore all the Kira stuff. The L Change the World movie’s book with L absolutely moping about Light not being around and WEARING his watch for a sense of comfort! As L was close to dying, he went to LIGHT’S HOUSE ahhhh. Him hoping they will meet again in death to walk in the nothingness together like ughhh. He’s so poetic with him. Then there’s Light who is just absolutely losing his mind after ridding of L. The immediate regret, the extra hate to Near. The bittersweetness of it all! L was his equal but he had to get rid of him for self-preservation. Yet he cannot SHUT UP about L. Always on his mind. That things would have been better if they were still togetherrr. Then the creators saying if Light wasn’t Kira that they’d probably still work together. Aghhh they just have to be apart of each other’s lives!!!

Light always showing his concern for L is always 🥺 Even if it ends up leading to fights cause their both stubborn af, it’s cause they love each other okay? :,,,)

Even though L is a notorious liar, it still seems sweet when he seems a little sad at Light being Kira because he’s his first friend. Ahhhhh. Light, I feel, has brought L out of his shell a lot on the case and gehshsjsjskks

Also the fanart? GORGEOUS? The memes of them? HILARIOUS. But fanfics? Eh I’m not actually that into it. There’s enough ig in canon that tickled my fancy enough with the pairing that I don’t really feel like the fanfic would bring about anything that doesn’t feel kinda repeated? So I don’t really read them 🙈

Now why it gets EH. It’s just talked about so much I guess it kinda just bores me sometimes. Like we get it. It’s great. What’s new? 🙈 It feels silly but sometimes when I just see Lawlight over talked about it just kinda looses my interest. When I rewatch/reread stuff tho I still like it and definitely feel they had something going there. Also I personally don’t like Light as much. So I’m just not as big a fan of shipping him with L in just that regards. When I wanna do fanart/fics of my fave ships, I like it more when I like both characters equally. Feels kinda one sided for myself ig otherwise lol (which is why partly, Lawtsuda, even with its lack of canon content, intrigues me more.)

Overall I feel a pretty solid ship ^^

So, I finished watching the show a couple days ago, because there were a couple things that showed up consistently in fics i that I didn’t understand (blood blossoms, some of the baddies, a handful of fenton inventions, etc)

First off, I still very much prefer pitch pearl to amethyst ocean or whatever the hell it’s called

And also, do you know where pitch pearl as a ship came from? I know there’s the episode with fun and super, but is that all there really was? Or were there more early fandom headcannons that supported them as separate beings?

Hello again! Sorry this took so long, I wasn’t sure how to answer 😅

Canon did a poor job with AO. I would even say it did it dirty, but it's popular enough it doesn't need that kind of support lol. If you really want to give it a fair shake I’d recommend reading fanfiction for it, but I understand everyone’s preferences are different. I personally don’t ship it because shipping best friends is something I have real issues with, but it’s not a bad ship if you want something that’s soft and makes you feel all warm inside.

Onto pitch pearl tho!

Tbh, I’m not entirely sure myself how pitch pearl as a ship started. I don’t believe it was because of the Fun and Super episode, largely because those two are rarely used in the ship. 

I asked someone else, and they thought that moment in What You Want when Phantom was first torn from Fenton as this colorless ghost might have been what started the concept they weren’t one whole person. Because, honestly? This ship goes far, FAR back. A lot of the older fics made Phantom into a voice in Danny’s head or a spirit that could separate from him at will without the need of the Ghost Catcher in order to offer Danny comfort. They had no rules because there weren’t any set way yet. The fact that Phantom could move and think independently from Danny was enough to get people thinking. It wasn't all romantic, most of it was borderline at best. They mostly focused on hurt/comfort and self-love, finding a balance between human and ghost with the occasional kiss thrown in.

Then there’s TUE, where Danny meets his evil future self and learns that his ghost half killed his human half after merging with Plasmius. It definitely gave more credence to the idea there might be more to Danny’s ghost half than simply having ghost powers. It aired before Identity Crisis, so it set the stage with a BOOM and had a much bigger impact on the ship. Phantom being seen as his own person is a bit more credible when he’s willing to kill Danny. It helped that TUE was a VERY popular episode. It drew in a huge crowd, and everyone was curious about what made the ghost half snap like that if he’s supposed to be Danny.

Supporting that idea is that a lot of the older art and fics took a darker view of Phantom in general, seeing him as Danny’s darker half or a ghost out for revenge after being imprisoned for so long. Even the name “pitch pearl” was created with that in mind. I always thought of it as “white hair/black hair” in the same vein as AO taking inspiration from Sam’s purple eyes and Danny’s blue, but when I went searching for the origins for the name, the old explanation set Danny Fenton as white pearl and Phantom as pitch black. The reasoning for that was partly their jumpsuits pre- and post- accident, but also because Fenton is human and “pure” while Phantom is a ghost and dangerous--because without Fenton, Phantom became Dan and destroyed everything.

For obvious and somewhat personal reasons, I don’t subscribe to that. But it does make all the art where Phantom looks evil while holding Danny make sense. I don’t like dark romance, and I’m personally thrilled we moved away from such a dark beginning, but it likely had a hand in the early popularity of pitch pearl.

If I were to guess how else it started when the source has them as one person, I would say it was most likely the fanart? Putting Fenton and Phantom side-by-side has a yin-yang appeal, and when they interact in art, you get the sense that these are two characters, not one. This was really popular when the fandom was much bigger than it is now.

For instance

Save Our Soul by nycken isn't a shipping piece by any means, but it could very easily give rise to the idea, especially if someone is new to the fandom.

They did not shy away from it being a self-cest ship back then, though. The idea that Phantom wasn't Danny was there, but I don't think anyone looked for evidence in the show to support it. That seems to be something the ship has evolved into rather than something it started from, and it is honestly my favorite way to see it.

I do have many headcanons about how they aren’t the same person in canon if you're interested! There’s the out of sync transformations, the title sequence and how Super and Fun are shown to separate in the Identity Crisis episode, Vlad’s inability to clone Danny, the way Danny talks to himself, just all kinds of things! If you want to hear more about those I'd be happy to answer 😁 (they'd probably be easier too lol)

But yeah, I think it was TUE and fanart. There may have been other factors (I think this was around the time Yu-Gi-Oh and puzzleshipping was popular too) because fandom doesn't exist in a vacuum, but I really couldn't say for sure. It's a ship that means different things for everyone who ships it. I like the psychological questions when they start off as "one" (the bonded peeps version) and enjoy the aus like soooo much, but others like it only for aus, and others like it as a crack ship, and then there are even others who like it as something dangerous. Some people love it for Fun and Super in Identity Crisis because they're just fun caricatures. It's hard to find the origin point when it has so many branches lol

Some things I would like to clear up before I go on a tangent: I am not attracted to men. I am not trying to speak for mlm and nblm. I am also not trying to speak for Dream and George. This is just my opinion.

they are both men. george isn’t feminine. i cannot ever see george wearing a skirt, cat ears, or tight clothing. That just isn’t him. People are allowed to showcase whatever they want in fanfics and fanart, but please understand that it’s FICTION and not george irl. He has said he’s straight, please don’t force stuff onto him (not saying clothes have a gender/sexuality, i’m just saying not to force him to wear stuff). I’m not trying to speak on his behalf, and I personally think he would look fucking amazing in a skirt (honestly everyone looks good in skirts tho). I just know that he wouldn’t wear one. It’s okay to imagine him in one (it doesn’t go against his boundaries) but don’t pressure him to wear one. There isn’t a problem with shipping dnf, but please understand that they aren’t dating and have said that they have no plans to. This next part is less abt dnf and more about mlm relationships in general. There’s also the fact that mlm relationships are just that. Mlm. When shipping an mlm relationship, please understand that they are both men. They can both be masculine, and they can both be feminine. A relationship doesn’t need a “feminine” person and a “masculine” person. That is heteronormative bullshit. Being a bottom does not automatically mean you are feminine, and same goes for being a top and masculine. Like in Accelerate, (no hate to the authors) George is highly feminized and Dream is highly masculinized. There isn’t a problem with that in theory, but if people take that out of the fic and apply it to real life, it can be harmful. That being said, it’s okay for mlm relationships to be like that. It just needs to be understood that the stereotypes and fetishization can be harmful to the mlm community. Imo, there’s nothing wrong with smut/porn as long as the people creating and consuming understand that it isn’t realistic. Again, I am not mlm so this is just my personal take (as nblw, I understand fetishization and stereotyping to a degree). I don’t want people to see this and think “oh this is correct” because I think opinions of the mlm community are more important than my personal take.

TLDR: george is straight + masculine, don’t pressure him to wear a skirt. being a bottom doesn’t mean you’re feminine, same for being a top and masc. stop fetishizing mlm relationships pls :)

Sexuality Headcanon: kokichi’s canonically some shade of mlm, i headcanon him as bi!! i like projecting my sexuality journey onto him, of thinking you’re gay for years and years and years and then seeing a particularly attractive person from the opposite gender and thinking “wait. WAIT, FUCK-”

Gender Headcanon: kokichi’s gender is a highly classified DICE secret and should you attempt to discover it you will be slowly and dramatically lowered into a tank of sharks. he/she/it pronouns tho.

A ship I have with said character: if u have scrolled though my blog for more than two seconds you’ll know i’m obsessed with saioumatsu, lol. it’s a big comfort ship for me and i think about it more than any other relationship in danganronpa,,,unfortunately it’s a pretty rare ship, but fortunately all three individual pairs in it have decent followings so i’m not completely starved :D i just think kokichi deserves two people who will love him honestly and openly and gently, but still refuse to take any of his shit yknow? also i think it’s fun that most of the biggest problems in each pair are solved by the third person being there! like how kokichi would have no patience for shuichi putting kaede on a pedestal, and kaede would just knock their heads together whenever the boys attempt a classic Saiou Miscommunication™, and how shuichi would be a good mediator for when the omaede bickering turns to actual fighting!

A BROTP I have with said character: fuck i already spent ages talking about platonic ougoku in the gonta post,,,uhh i like the idea of him and kiibo making up postgame. him and miu are really funny and really tragic which is always a good combo. him and rantaro are great since rantaro is so easily swayed into shenaniganery. i like the idea of him harassing kiyo into telling him cool stories. and him and himiko have been near n dear to my heart ever since i read that one set of toxicpineapple fics!

I replied to Kakashi/Sasuke related asks, shippy or not shippy, here, here and here. More about them here, here and here. Put yourself comfortable cause this is gonna be long. Not putting it under a readmore cause I remember ppl complaining they coulnd’t open it on mobile phones (?). Also, moralists who are lurking: don’t interact, get out of my blog. Youll be blocked on sight.

When I started reading N*ruto I was into Bleach a lot, and the fact that the characters were a little older and looked older made me not get into Nar that much at first, because they looked like kiddies lol. I didn’t care about Nar as a character and his initial rivalry with Sas was cute but not enough to get me interested. Only when Kakashi got closer to Sasuke I started being veery interested in the story and in the characters. What I found intriguing was that Kakashi was older and an authority figure, but also someone to look up and who helped his students, BUT at the same time he wasn’t exactly a father-like figure or a big brother-like figure, because he had his dark side, that back then wasn’t well flashed out but that nevertheless showed a closed-off person who kept everything inside, not letting others get too close to him.

(then I started liking N*rusasu mostly because there were so many cool doujinshi especially Emi10/Rankai and Engawaken, while KS doujinshi were so meh, kinda in old yaoi style like Loveless, with tiny Sas who looked even younger hahaha, not my thing)

As those who know my blog and/or my writing know already, I am not interested in healthy, cute, positive dynamics in fiction. I might enjoy them, I might be happy when there are such moments, but I can’t like a whole relationship/dynamic/story only like this because I like to explore complicated ones in fiction.Because fiction is very useful for this, it makes you explore dark, taboo things, without affecting reality (no matter what idiots say), it’s cathartic, it’s a way to do, see, experience things without doing anything.

Back to topic tho, I found their initial dynamic very intriguing. A broken, traumatized yet extremely driven Sasuke, acting as confident and strong as he can, but showing his trauma in various occasions, otherwise being mostly aloof, lost in his own thoughts, and a differently broken Kakashi, acting chill but at the same time always ready to act when needed, yet always kinda distracted, aloof, lost in his owh thoughts (and later we’ll know he took Obito’s mannerisms because he was a stickler to rules). The way Kakashi takes a special interest for Sasuke, clearly the most driven, the best of the team, with whom he holds back much less (when he trains them, like when in the beginning, during the bell test, he fights with Sas and seeing that he almost took it, he overpowers him) while he is different with the others (Nar will have Jiraiya later). The way he protects Sasuke during the chuunin exams, while he’s in the hospital and Kabuto is trying to kill him.

Mostly, the controversial moments...like I said I live for these kind of things. where he both protects and threatens him...like when he does that seal to Sasuke, for his curse mark, and he tells him that if that curse mark takes over he’ll kill him. Or when he ties Sasuke up so he won’t join Orochimaru.

Before someone says bs like *you’re not Sas fan if you like that scene* (I know there are many like this and I want all of them out of my blog btw) uh, it’s not how it works guys. You can support a character and still be intrigued by scenes where said character is tied up/in a forcibly submitted position and so on. Guess what, some of those scenes are made for fanservice even (and Sas has many of these, so if you don’t see the appeal/refuse to admit that there is appeal, it’s you who have a problem). So even tho I disagree with Kakashi not wanting to listen to Sasuke’s reasons for revenge (and later supporting SHikamaru’s, I replied to this in one of the asks I linked) I do find that scene interesting...I mean Sasuke tied up in a very suggestive way and yet defying him and threatening to kill his loved ones and Kakashi opening up in a very weird way vaguely replying that he lost those ppl already? It shows a lot about them, their personalities, everything.

I am sticking to part 1 because there are more meaningful interactions between them, I wished there were more in part 2 but kishi shifted Kakashi’s ‘interest’ to Nar, making him one of Nar’s followers...even so, the intractions they had were very interesting. Their fight after Sasuke fights Danzo is one of my fave moments in the whole story tbh, much more than the later confrontation with Nar. Kakashi for the first time has an inner only, yet strong, emotional reaction, having to fight and supposedly kill his former student who became a rogue with a death sentence on his head...he realizes this is how Hiruzen felt against Orochimaru. It’s a strong realization from someone like him who was always so closed off and aloof that he totally lacked empathy.

On the other hand Sasuke is in a different mindset. He’s sort of high for having succeeded in eliminating the one who made Itachi suffer so much, he’s thinking about killing the elders and destroy the village, so he’s basically lost in the recent past of Danzo’s death and in the future plans he’s making, he’s not in the present moment almost...but he has to fight anyway, and it’s a cool fight, also because he’s weakened already and Kakashi is strong...and then he gets blind, totally, and it’s an amazingly intriguing moment, the kind of controversial stuff I’m interested in, because that’s when he could be totally overpowered by Kakashi, if the story didn’t have other priorities (putting Nar in the center of attention with their confrontation).

Their later moments, like during the war, are meh cause the interest shifted already completely, but their moments in jail (anime only ofc) and their Shinden interactions (only through messages) are interesting to me. Very much so, because they show power dynamics very well, with Kakashi as THE authority and Sasuke as the one submitted. In jail it’s even more evident with him looking down at the younger tied up and blindfolded...like, wow. It’s like fanfiction material (in fact I wrote one (ff.net/a03) and there was the coolest fanart inspired by it! here..there were more but this came on my dash today so).

You mentioned power dynamics...their dynamics are all power dynamics because Kakashi was never at Sasuke’s same level and he never acted like he was, and when Sasuke was stronger, during the war, they basically didn’t interact, and when the war was over and Sasuke was brainwashed and tamed into submission the power dynamic remained the same.

The difference imo between them and other power dynamics based pairings is that they are closer than what could be defined rare pairings such as Obito (they had a very interesting one tho, if only it was developed), Madara (the story was already developed in a pro Konoha-anti Uchiha way but it would have been so cool to have the 2 Uchiha interact more), or other older and stronger characters, so the dynamic could be written in a cool way in a fanfiction but in canon Kakashi created it already. So, while I can imagine something like Shisui/Sasuke, Obisasu or more, in my head, and I can come up with some AU or canon divergent/canon behind the screen (like when Sas stayed with Obito after the transplant), Kakashi and Sasuke had canon interactions that showed power dynamics already.

(Then there is Itasasu, which is a huge power dynamic based relationship, that also had amazingly strong feelings though, and those who know me know that for me Itachi will always be Sasuke’s most loved person, and that he was the same for Itachi. So ofc imo IS is a much stronger bond compared to KS but still. Also I remember in the beginning how many fics I read where Itachi was abusive to Sas and Kakashi stepped in lol. And it’s not a mystery that even though I think the IS bond is the strongest I find other pairings and character dynamics very interesting, so much that I like to explore them even more than IS, which, imo, is almost a given fact so I don’t always feel the need to explore it)

Another thing I find intriguing is that Kakashi always saw Sas at his ‘worst’...in Konoha’s terms I mean. When he wanted revenge in pt 1, after he killed Danzo and he was weak and so desperate and hysterical that they thought he got crazy, when he was jailed. It’s a big power he has, to be able to see someone like this.

Tbh it’s a pity that there were no post war moments (B*ruto shit doesn’t count) where they interact ‘normally’ cause I would have liked to see them, both as normal interactions where they get closer again, now that Sas is older, where they train and they get physical (and Kakashi has a lot of repressed anger, jealousy and possessiveness to let out on the one who betrayed his sensei and went to another...not my opinion but it could be Kakashi’s pov) because I think power dynamic would come up a lot, even from apparently cute moments.

I’ll end this super long essay hoping that you didn’t fall asleep lol, and adding that Kakasasu was the first Nar pairing I shipped, which it speaks a lot about why I get so irritated when someone mentions it negatively.

Pretty one and the gruff one im THINKING is He Xuan (or Ming Yi/ Ming-Xiong/Ming Bro) for the grumpy one and Shi Qingxuan for the pretty one and both are kinda gender fluid?? I adore him and his brother Nie Mingjue, if there is one bitch u gotta remember from this summary it’s this little twink (he and his brother also have a fucking spin off movie from the live action drama THAT I HAVENT BEEN ABLE TO FIND A ENGLISH SUB VERSION AND ITS BEEN KILLING ME SINCE I STARTED WATCHING THIS SHOW LAST YEAR. My Personal Current Favourite is Scum Villain’s Self Saving System (SVSSS) which is SOOOOOOO FUNNY Like it’s not as popular cause the comic was discontinued, and the anime looks like its from 2005 with the weird 3D animation but its my current comfort media!!! 

Its basically about a spite reading millennial (Shen Yuan) who died after reading a REALLY awful popular cheesy smut harem novel (think like 50 shade series but worse cause the protag had 600 wives) and was forced into the body of a minor but important villain (the protagonist’s teacher, Shen Qingqiu) from the novel who was fated to die with all his limbs cut off and his eyes and tongue plucked out and is told he has to fix the story so its not trash, he reasonably freaks the fuck out and hugs the protagonists (Luo Binghe) thigh so hard he turns him gay without realizing. Sadly, he does have to make sure certain plot points happen, which fucks him over a lot,  and he thinks Luo Binghe still wants to kill him instead of love him cause he has the Emotional Intelligence of a Rock, but its so funny reading about him handling all the awful tropey stuff, like imagine u have to be a character in My Immortal But With Porn?????? without breaking out of character too much?? I wouldn’t be able to handle it ajhakfkfhjfj He also finds out that he’s not the only transmigrator in the novel either, but it doesn’t matter cause theyre both So Fucking Stupid Collectively but everyone would honestly die for the both of them

warning for this story though, the main relationship is a teacher/student relationship, but nothing happens until the student is in his 20s and also kinda not his student anymore cause he’s running hell??? but if that squicks u out i totally understand and offer you to PLEASE still enjoy some of this media, and instead of the BingQiu ship, I offer you the LiuQiu one, where both me and the main character cry over how a beautiful man/fellow immortal lord loves the main character so much that he literally fought every day for 5 years to be by his side and I Think Thats Beautiful and I kinda like this ship more than the main one tbh PLEASE just look at the art for Liu Qingge because i love him so much, he’s like if you took Lan Zhan and Jiang Cheng from MDZS and mashed them into one beautiful man the author is trying to tell me is straight but u take one look at him And Tell Me Otherwise

I hate episode 10 of sk8. Just... all of it. It was so quick and random and stupid and nothing made sense. And i hate Reki pushing Miya away, and the way they made Reki "remember" that skating is fun, and i hate the scene of Reki and Langa "make up". He didn't even apologize! And that thing they did with Shadow? I just so pissed i don't wanna watch it anymore. The only thing i still wanna see is Cherry and Jo's relationship really

haha I just wanted to write a post about it and I got your ask. that was so ridiculous, I literally started laughing at the end. 

Okay, Reki and Langa, I genuinely do not get why some ppl are happy about, cause that was the most anticlimactic shit I’ve ever seen. You know, I wasn’t even that much invested in them, but even I was disappointed. For a moment there, when he started running, I was like “yes, yes, okay, here we go, here we go..... ah no no we don’t” haha then when they slammed into each other, I was like... “now then... now it’s gonna be... ah no it’s not gonna be” lmao 

I just thought they’re gonna you know do the thing, you now the the super emotional make up thing. Like all of this fucking build up...  for this??! I was like.. this is the climax??! this is THE CLIMAX for the two? for real?! that was so... Now if Reki beats Adam in a race, this thing will for sure deserve a Golden Raspberry Award, istg. I suggest, the power of frinedship gave wings to his board and he flies to the finish xD

Idk, it’s just not what I expected, that’s all. It’s also super inconsistent and like they start smth good, but then finish it in some absurd way. They try to prepare everyone for a tsunami, but then it’s just a bloop. I’m just confused at this point. They stretched the whole Reki thing and wasted so much time for it to unravel in that way? 

And we knew that the main climax is Adam and bringing him back thing, okay, but like... will it be also meh? I just lost my hope for a great culmination, you know? 

At this point it’s like... is it a good skating show? No, cause skating is pretty ridiculous in this. Is this a good borderline b-romance show? Also no. It’s a one kindergarden level b-romance and other one-sided line of god knows what... a love penthagram? lmao

I like matchablossom, a lot, but I have 2 slight problems with them. 1st they’re like so in the back, like side ships can be good too, but they do not have time to create any depth of the characters for these two or make it complex really, so it’s like a super mega potental wasted, cause I don’t even think they’re gonna be part of the next 2 episodes really. I was happy he carried in his arms tho, that was the cutest, but I also was like “waaaait, I saw that already! oh no, that was a fanart on my phone lmao”. 2nd, Cherry is obsessed with Adam. Like there are times, when he doesn’t even see Joe, when Adam is there and you know, how much I hate this kind of stuff. I mean, he’s still obsessed with him, it’s not like its all in the past or smth.

Drama time! (just making sure that people will be able to see my point of view of this drama)

Well, it’s not my fault. I didn’t want to add drama on my blog and honestly, I didn’t want to make another post for it but that lovely person @disneyfemslash & her main account @cancersyndrom had made me do it by deleting my responses under their post and then blocking me.  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It’s just that I realized my mistake and I wanted to fix it.)

That’s what I wrote and that is what she wrote in reblog. Lovely. But, u know, I get that. Even tho she used “fuck” in an aggressive tone, even tho she wrote “what is your damage”, even tho she implied that I'm a pedo or perv or as if  I wrote it about real 16 yo, I wasn’t mad. I commented on her post. I wanted to clear things and let her know that she’s wrong. That I didn’t mean anything sexual. I let her knew my point of view.

I think it could be kinda mean of me, but that’s the truth? I saw that scene (3:09 - 3:15) in Brave. Looking in google I found this “Traditionally, men would not wear any underwear while wearing a kilt - and many still don't.“ From this site. So, I’ve may not think too much about it (because it was only a joke, no second thoughts, just a silly joke that I made because I remember that scene from Merida) and just straight thought that girls, women also do not wear underwear. That literally was my way of thinking and how and why I wrote what I wrote. I didn’t think about anything sexual, just a silly joke based on Scottish people. I already checked, I was wrong, most women (when they actually have to wear a kilt) have to wear panties. My bad. But like I said, I really didn’t mean anything erotic or sexual or.. or I don’t know what exactly that person was thinking that I wrote there.

Like I said in the comments, I still don’t understand what she meant by her first comment. I ignored it even because I thought it’s another person who is just going to be rude to me. But then she send another one and I realized that it’s her main account. Anyway, I think we all can agree that in her first comment, her intention was to be rude to me and again imply that I am some perv or something (again talking about panties and that she doesn’t want to know what I'm thinking <??? I guess? She never explained what she meant>, probably telling me to stop talking <???> and at the end, she called me a “freak, babe”). It looks as she didn’t even read what I wrote or just didn’t care. Because she thinks that I’m a perv, so if she thinks that, then it’s true and the other person can talk, explain, but she is the one who’s right. But’s it’s only a guess~.

And then, there is that lovely comment “once you annoy me there is no second chance”. Like, okay, sure? I don’t mind! Because I didn’t write my comments to beg for her forgiveness. I don’t need her approval. I just wanted to clear things. I just wanted to let know people, who will look at the post that @disneyfemslash wrongly interpreted my dialogue. It’s really all I wanted. But, I guess, she wanted people to think that she’s the hero in this story. Or something. I really don’t get it. 

And then I just asked her to delete that post (I mean reblog from me). I wanted this because I already said that whatever she thought I thought where writing this comment wasn’t right. She was wrong and I explain my way of thought. I just didn’t want people to think wrong of me, just because she assumed things. But she didn’t want to. 

But what’s wrong with talking in comments? Looking at our conversation it would be already the 6th reblog. And there is more. So what’s the point? Because tumblr will see her posts better if there will be more reblogs? That’s why? 

Here’s my response and yes, unfortunately. I kinda lost my patience here, ahaha. But, could you blame me? She is calling me names and implying things all the time and now, while I nicely asked her to delete the post, she rudely answered me, called me a coward, and imply that (I guess) I’m a perv because I don’t want to keep reblogging that post? That I want to hide what I wrote? Isn’t that ridiculous?

Anyway, here’s my response:

After that, she starts deleting my comments, because my next screenshots are just her comments with no trace of my comments. But that’s later. And here is her last comment and my reply (she didn’t see that I think because she already blocked me but I send this anyway). After that, I refreshed Tumblr and I realized that I was already blocked.

In the end, she really did not “give me a second chance” and keep thinking about me as some perv who likes panties of 16yo??? Oh well. I guess that she is just that kind of person who has to has the last word in the conversation. Anyway, here, how it looks now:

I saw that one post on her blog. She called all people who call The Beast by the name of Adam “the worst”. Someone reblogged, gave sources, screenshots just to let her know that Disney acknowledged fans' decision that The Beast’s name is Adam. And @disneyfemslash didn't acknowledge and just disrespected that person’s work. Lovely.

Even another person reminded her that her behavior was wrong. But she just blamed the other person again, not seeing her fault at all.

And that’s why, I don’t think that she will change her mind about me or just acknowledge that maybe, just maybe, rather than calling me names and implying things, she could just calmly talk with me in DM.

Here is just another example that cancersyndrome (disneyfemslash) just can’t accept that people can have other opinions. Other than her. And in the discussion, she just kept saying the same thing. And when she sees that she won’t win, she just starts (or even at the beginning of the discussion) calling other person names and assuming things and just being simply rude and toxic. 

But anyway, that’s all. I mean, I could also say something about @disneyfemslash shipping merelsa, a 21 (or 24 in the second movie) years old woman and 16 years old girl. Or I could remind her that she reblogged some posts that aren’t so pure. Like that one fanart with Jasmine (16) and Belle (19) in a sexual pose or edit with Jasmine (16) seducing Ariel (16).

But how would I do that? @disneyfemslash is a perfect, pure, innocent person, after all, who is always right and doesn’t give second chances!

5. What’s the fic you’ve written with the angstiest ending?

I don’t... really have any?? I write plenty of angsty situations. Competitionverse (my duke/seto business business au) is probably the angstiest one and the one I have the worst plans for. I have some secret fanfic of 1930s gangster Joey that I’ve kind of put out in the world so maybe that?

6. What’s the fic you’ve written with the happiest ending?

Haaahaha what drew me back to fanfiction after not writing it for at least a decade was domestic portraits of kaijou so, like, that’s what I write. Probably Baby Dragon or In Awe of Flowers.

7. Do you write crossovers? If so what is the craziest one you’ve written?

Not crossovers but I write... a lot of AUs and in fact did an entire compilation one year for NaNoWriMo I never finished. Most niche is the Black Tapes AU that yes I do have a full outline for including timelines for every characters and how they intersect with the grand conspiracy, and maybe the wildest is Long Way to a Small Angry Planet just for making Joey a feathered reptile alien.

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

I’ve gotten some comments over writing Duke as non-binary and kind of a weird one on my super secret FE3H fanfiction fighting me on a plot point??

9. Do you write smut? If so what kind?

I didn’t, but now I do. I don’t post 90% of what I write, which is maybe weirder?  It’s been really good to be pushed there by friends and develop that part of my writing, so maybe I’ll post more. Probably not tho. I feel like I’ve branded myself as the KaiJou hand kink person but I still don’t write it enough to be anyone’s go-to.

No but it’d be super cool.

12. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

I guess not technically. Me and @saggiclowns bounce ideas off each other, write fanfiction for each other’s fanfiction, and have definitely developed things together, so maybe that counts? But our IP is individualized.

13. What’s your all-time favorite ship?

I have almost exclusively written KaiJou so you think that’d be the obvious answer. I think my actual all time favorite ship that sends me to the moon is probably Marceline/Bubblegum from Adventure Time (the history!!!! the animosity!!!!! the friendship!!!!!!!), I just... don’t want to read AT fanfiction.

14. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

Hahahaaaaaaa. I am WIP queen!! Back in the day I’d start a hundred fanfics just to abandon them! The same’s true of today I just don’t post every thought that comes into my head. Star Trek AU deserves so much more of my attention and I do have a plan for it and I bought a special little Star Trek notebook to keep all my thoughts ideas and notes in and then when it comes to writing it I struggle.

15. What are your writing strengths?

Genuinely, to toot my own horn, I feel I write very naturalistic dialogue and for the longest time writing dialogue was the easiest thing in the world to me, to the point that sometimes I would skip over anything else. Also, gosh I love world building. I could go from a blank screen to a fully articulated society complete with maps, pantheons, and intricate histories for every location. The problem is then writing it.

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

I tend to get very stuck on things and struggle to skip over them. Last year’s NaNoWriMo was a testament to that, and I kept rewriting and getting frustrated and will inevitably end up trashing the whole thing. I pick up new ideas constantly and then discard them for the next thought in my head. It’s part of why I’ve only really let myself write one shots and short fic, but I do have some longer WIP I’d love to actually finish.

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

This is a tricky one and I’ve read and listened to a lot of people talk about how other non-fluent languages are presented in all kinds of different art. I personally don’t have a strong opinion. Best practice is to find someone who is fluent in that language to help you translate it (and there used to be whole blogs dedicated to helping people with this, I don’t know if they’re still around), but that doesn’t mean I’ve never jammed anything into a translator.

18. What was the first fandom you wrote for?

This... is interesting because the answer is YuGiOh. Back in my middle school days my friends were very into ygo and wrote silly like chat formatted fics that we posted on DeviantArt (???) that were just really bad and stupid and silly, and the only reason I even thought about ygo was because all my friends liked it. The first fandom I actually really got involved in was Teen Titans, and ATLA I was, like, a recognizable presence. I fell off extremely hard probably thanks to college and have spent most of my life focusing on original fiction and writing my own characters. Then my best friend sent me a piece of fanart that unlocked my childhood memories, and here we are now, in the only fandom.

19. What’s your favorite fic you’ve written?

I wrote Bite Hard and it might be one of the best things I’ve written... and now I’ve kind of repurposed it into an original fiction??? I think the main characters might always be buddies no matter how much I’ve manipulated them, but it’s kind of spun off into it’s own thing? That’s what fanfiction’s for! Experimentation, playing with ideas, having a sandbox to build in! And then I EL James it and make millions! (jk)

okay so i ranked 113 total drama/ridonculous race ships based on how much i like them with explanations below the cut.. fair warning that i’m a lil mean to some of the ships lower on the list.

6. gwent - yea u got me i still care about them. tdi gwent was really sweet! there was a lil pining. a lil outside meddling. and a lot of cute. and GOD during the finale when trent ran alongside gwen with that boulder? he cared about her so much!! of course action ruined it with the shitty portrayal of ocd and a healthy portion of not fucking communicating with your partner, but before that it was good.

5. truncan - you got me, i like the idea of trent serenading duncan with his guitar and duncan liking it a lot more than he anticipated. i think they’d have a dynamic that’s a little more turbulent than most other trent ships, but less so than most other duncan ships. they’d be a lot more balanced i think. i’m a fan of that.

4. scuncan - okay so u remember how i said i like to ship two fucking assholes together? scuncan is peak asshole/asshole rights. all stars totally missed their chance to have these two team up by dumbing scott down, whatever they did with duncan, and of course, introducing scourtney, i’m just saying. scott was actually playing the game pretty well in roti, and duncan was a veteran of the series. the two of them could’ve dominated the game. those fuckin assholes.

3. aleheather - okay now this ship was like, the only central ship that started out good and ended good in this entire series, except maybe jashawn but they don’t count because they were literally only in 13 episodes. anyway they did rivals to lovers right here. also, they simultaneously gave heather a great character arc and wrote alejandro super well. so the characters as individuals were great at the time they got together, and the couple was great together, so what i’m trying to say is… aleheather was and still is amazing.

2. duncney - in case u couldn’t tell from how high gwent is on this list, i am a fan of the tdi ships. another thing you might be able to tell from this list- duncan and courtney are two of my favorite characters in the series. so of course duncney gets a high placement on this list. not only that, but they go from disliking each other to really liking each other, which is something else that i really like. tdi duncney is opposites attract in the best way, where they compliment each other each other instead of clash. beyond that… ugh. eughhh. i don’t even want to think about that. but duncney in tdi alone earns itself number two on the list.

1. heathney - yes i love girls. yes this ship is pretty fucking basic. and no, there are no heathney fics on ao3. i will be attempting to remedy that. anyway, i could see them pulling a rivals to friends to lovers as well, which is one of my absolute favorite tropes. i think they’d be a total power couple. and to top it off, i love them both. a lot. so much. thank u for ur time.

1. First ship you remember

I think the first ship I had for the game was Annie/Klaus. I was on the fringes of the fandom when I started playing SoS1, so I wasn't really reading fic or looking at fanart, so most of my early ships were the ones I saw in game, and Klaus was the first bachelor that interested me when I was playing. Tho Iris/Annie was pretty close to first, if only the game hadn't been a coward and had let us be gay, I woulda married her - but also I wasn't going to start a new boy file until I beat my girl file so... still haven't married her, yet.

2. Your newest ship

You know what, I think because of you, Fritz/Raeger is the newest ship I've got for the game. You brought them to my attention with an ask game like... 2 years ago, and I've only grown fonder of them since. (And since I'm not a huge shipper to begin with, I haven't really put much thought into it)

13. Most shippable character

Easy answer, Annie or Johnny, they are the player character. besides them, because that feels like cheating, I think I'm gonna say Raeger. I think his personality and temperament is amenable enough to fit pretty well with just about anybody if handled properly.

14. Character that you can’t imagine in any ship

You know, I constantly forget that Giorgio is engaged. I know he talked about his fiance pretty often in game, but every time he does I'm always briefly surprised. So I guess him 😂 I mean, I might be projecting, but he strikes me as an independent aro/ace who would rather foster close platonic friendships than romantic relationships. He loves his friends and neighbors dearly, but at the end of the day he doesn't want anyone else in his house.

15. Favourite poly ship

You know, I haven't really thought about a poly ship for that game. Of course, as soon as I read the question, the crack-part of my brain went "Jonas and Margo are swingers" which is now all I can think of.

Of a serious poly ship tho, I don't have any strong opinions, but I think it would include 2 of the marriage candidates and the player character. And now I'm remembering a fic I half-wrote back in like... 2015/2016 that was based around a Klaus-> Annie <- Raeger love triangle in which Annie, through various circumstances, had sworn off all love for a while and Annie didn't wanna be part of the triangle in the first place. I should dig that up, see if it's worth finishing.
