Btw just want to be clear that Time and Time Again is set to, and will if I don't pause, conclude in May 2025!

Webtoon didn't want to renew or give me any extra episodes so I'm trying to work with what I have. I'm sorry it's ending sooner than I'd like, it's been difficult to come to terms with and challenging to condense my plans.

You deserve a solid conclusion, and I've spent months writing to try and reach that. If there's anything you'd really like to see before it ends, do let me know in case I can (and want to) fit it in.

I'd rather not work with them again, and I hope I won't have to! But coming off of years being overworked and underpaid does not make that easy, to say the least...

I'm doing my best, and I hope you like what I have coming up.

Inv’s characterization in the au is that they act immature and childish, but they never really got to be a kid when they were one. Being the older sibling in an unsafe situation meant that they had to protect Saint, and act like a parent way before they were old enough to have that kind of responsibility and pressure.

Give me less 'Jason borrows Bruce's clothes and is amazed that he fits them', and more 'Bruce borrows Jason's clothes and is amazed that they are too big'.

Even without changing Jay's height and weight like I do, in the comics he is 2 inches (5cm) shorter but 15 pounds (7kg) heavier than Bruce. Which isn't a lot but still.

Because the first one is great, but the second one? Like Bruce never thought that Jason was going to get as big as him, let alone bigger, first because he was such a small kid, and then because he didn't even reach 16. So the idea that Jason outgrew him while he wasn't even around to witness it just gives me so many feelings

#i know that a lot of people (comic artists and fans alike) make him on the leaner side #and thats cool #but i always loved the idea of him being MASSIVE #mine is only 6ft3 but still #maybe its the big sister in me #the feeling i got when i realised my baby siblings had outgrown me #like pride but also sadness #coz you remember them being so small #and now they can pick you up like you used to them #dc comics #dc universe #batfamily #jason todd #bruce wayne

The house is white— the tower is the same and so is everything inside, like it’s frozen in time

And the lawn is dead— THEY’RE not the same, and the never will be again, the pain’s changed them and twisted them into people that would’ve been unrecognizable to the people that saw that tower as home. No matter how long they try to hold onto each other, they know they can never go back to when this tower was happiness and peace and not just the graveyard of ghosts of all the people now gone, including themselves

#okay so I feel kinda bad rn because scratch been my main for awhile now and still is #like my self ship with him is a comfort ship for me #but bill kinda took over and I feel a bit guilty because one) I’m not focusing a lot on scratch like I use too #two) I feel like people who probably followed me for my ship with him are going to get disappointed because I keep focusing on bill #like I make jokes about scratch always pulling me back everytime I get a new crush but I wasn’t expecting to fall so hard for bill #don’t get me wrong scratch is still my 1st main and I’m still going to draw my ship with him and work on that comic #but rn I’m just really focused on bill #like I know I have a habit of jumping f/o(s) at times but this feels different #and I been feeling kinda sad about it #so I don’t know if others in the community have felt this or worry about disappointing other who followed them for something else #and I know it’s my blog and I can do whatever I want but I still stress about it #💬 chy chatter 💬

i'll be very candid with you my friend: i'm totally lost too !!!!!!! your comic-reading journey is about as green as mine and so i cant personally give you a super great guide- but beautiful people on the internet exist who've done most of the dirty work for us when sorting through the stories you 'should' read so i'm borrowing them to help us both

you can read this article to read about one person's advice with exploring krakoa and- in their opinion- its most 'significant' stories, though to summarize the issues they recommend looking into:

House of X/Powers of X (which you should have already done)

X of Swords event

Hellfire Gala

Inferno

X Lives and X Deaths of Wolverine

Second Hellfire Gala

Third Hellfire Gala

Fall of the House of X/Rise of the Powers of X (also should have already done, however...) +Single issue: X-Men (2021 series) #35 aka Uncanny X-Men #700 is featured at the end of the FoX omnibus, though the omnibus excludes an extra bit at the end involving a cliffhanger for Charles's fate after he's arrested

if you want to dig a little deeper though, you can check out this article from another individual which includes another wave of 'relevant' (word used loosely as some can be considered more poignant than others) krakoa stories and stories related to it or set during the period.

it's a lot longer and more in depth than the last article, so again i only really rec peaking at this one depending on how deep you wanna go, or if you decide you want to explore more after reading the more 'key' stories. def wouldn't hurt to give it a glance just in case you read some summaries that pique your interest!

all in all, don't take these as concrete rules or guides to follow: comics are meant to be fun, these are just good starting points if you're feeling lost or overwhelmed. at the end of the day, you decide ultimately what you want to read and which stories interest you the most
